Today, I speak with IFBB Pro Jazmine Osborne, personal trainer, & posing coach who started competing in 2015 and turned pro in 2019 at her second national show. She made her Pro debut in 2020 at the NorCal show! She initially started competing when she was still in college and only wanted to compete once as a bucket list item. She immediately started looking forward to her next show! Jazmine speaks to the importance of finding pride in the process and not the placing. She talks about not feeling ready for her first National show and feeling discouraged after placing 15th. But that gave her perspective to know where she needed to improve. Jazmine tells us about how she worked with her coach to fine tune her body for a balanced physique that meets the bikini criteria. She admits to feeling uncomfortable with the amount of food she had to eat in order to grow, but also noticed how her lifts improved. She learned to trust the process and trust her coach, which paid off! We talk about how Jazmine navigated her relationships outside of bodybuilding and how things changed. With communication and understanding, she has been able to maintain friendships through prep even though other friends were not into bodybuilding. Jazmine's journey is really special. You won't want to miss her story! Topics covered include: -friendships through bodybuilding -competing on the National stage -embracing discomfort to grow -trusting the process -finding balance -using her exercise science degree in her own prep -changing up training to grow muscle -dealing with mental struggles -managing time and finances -struggling with food -dealing with ADHD CONNECT WITH CELESTE: Website: http://www.celestial.fit Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/celestial_fit/ All Links: http://www.celestial.fit/links.html CONNECT WITH JAZMINE: Instagram: https://www.instagram.com/princess_jazmine/ TIME STAMPS [1:00] introductions [3:05] journey to Pro [11:39] section national show [18:50] trusting the process [21:35] finding balance [26:12] maintaining relationships outside of bodybuilding [31:50] studying exercise science [34:05] gaining muscle [40:20] pro debut [46:00] mental struggles [48:35] financial commitment [53:00] struggles with food [61:00] dealing with ADHD [66:09] future goals [69:20] advice for competitors CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE FOOD RELATIONSHIP COACHING SERIES CLICK HERE TO SIGN UP FOR THE FREE POST SHOW BLUES COACHING SERIES LEARN MORE AND APPLY FOR MY 5 WEEK FOOD RELATIONSHIP HEALING & DISCOVERY COACHING PROGRAM FOR OTHER FREE RESOURCES, LIVE EVENTS, AND WAYS TO WORK WITH CELESTE CLICK HERE

In this episode, host, Celeste Rains-Turk has an in depth conversation with Kasha Rusch, an IFBB pro from Southern California, who has been competing for 3 years, earned her Bachelor's Degree in Communication Studies from CSU Long Beach, who is getting married this year and is looking forward to her journey as an ifbb pro after earning her pro card at USA's this past year! Tune in to hear Kasha discuss her full process for hormonal health, how she used bodybuilding to overcome her anxiety and uncontrollable life, what inspired her to compete and how taking time off led her to discover the importance of body positivity and acceptance at all stages. She shares exactly how she trained to do a total body recomp, despite her approach being VERY different from other bikini competitors. Kasha vulnerably discusses her father's death and how she pushed through this time and was able to step on stage and earn her pro card against the odds. She also shares the feedback she has received, why she is taking a break, how it is beneficial to do so, and how to fall in love with the process. Kasha even discusses how she landed sponsorships without a ton of followers, what her big goals are, and the mark she wants to leave on competing.
