Consistent Discipleship of Christ
Those who believe in Jesus Christ often model their lives on the example of the Son of God. They are concerned with placing love, forgiveness and compassion at the center of their own lives, acting selflessly and putting the well-being of others before their own.
Unfortunately, the process of one's own sanctification often only takes place "on the outside" because many people place too much emphasis on outward appearances and only realize their discipleship by adapting their behaviour to Christian values. However, the radical turning away from their old life, the purification of their heart and the true approach to the Lord fall by the wayside, as a result of which they continue to walk in the flesh, are ignorant of the right doctrine and deny themselves the supernatural power effects of God's grace.
They are still worldly-minded instead of maturing into spiritual people. They have a new attitude, but do not own a new life! And many of them do not believe in the spirit of truth, but only think in their heads that they believe. In doing so, they continue to walk in the wrong direction and move further away from God, while their outward piety grows increasingly and gives them a semblance of true holiness, which in the light of God only shows itself as vain and powerless hypocrisy.
This podcast is about exposing these abuses and calling and encouraging people to truly walk in the Spirit of Christ. I show what it means to live by grace, how we can get rid of our false worries and live up to "being a child in God's house" more and more light-heartedly and joyfully. As children of God, we no longer strive for a certain behavior to gain recognition from people or to make Christ a respected "nice guy", but we give ourselves fully to the Son of God, so that his living word of truth can express itself through us. This truthful expression is often very different from what people imagine it to be, because it springs from life itself, and not from a tangible "Christian attitude" that merely corresponds to an idol cast in a mold that does not honor God and destroys the cross of Christ.
