Okay, let me guess. You fall into one of these two camps. The first camp is you want to earn $100,000 in a single year for the first time. Or you're in the second camp where you've already made six figures in a year before and now you want to learn how to make a hundred K or more in a single launch. And you don't want to just do it once, you want to do it every single time. Whether you're in Camp 1 or Camp 2. I want to invite you to a brand new training that I have cooked up and it's called 100k group programs. We are going over the 12 month blueprint I have for you where you're going to learn how to start, sell out and scale your group program. Whether you are making your First a hundred K or you're scaling to 2,50, even 500K, you need to know where you are on this map and exactly what strategies you need right now to get to the next milestone. This training is brand new, totally free, and it's happening on July 8th at noon Eastern time. If you want to get signed up, go ahead over to stephcrowder.com workshop and I cannot wait to see you there. Let's go to the show. Welcome to the Courage and Clarity podcast. I'm your host, Steph Crowder. I'm a former sales training director who's helped thousands of entrepreneurs earn a living doing something they love over the past 10 years. On your journey, you'll need the courage to be bold, to take risks and to do what looks crazy on paper. You'll also need the clarity, the brass tacks, simple strategies that actually work. And on this podcast we deliver both in equal measure. Oh, and by the way, we've got absolutely no time for bs, gross marketing tactics or get rich quick schemes, just sustainable business strategies for good humans with big dreams. If that sounds like you, you're in the right place. Let's go. Hello there my friends. Hello CNC listeners. Welcome to the podcast. Okay, for this episode I want to do things a little differently. Okay? It's going to be a little bit of a different episode. Maybe you already figured that out by the title, but here's the deal. Usually when I record a launch episode, which is this is really what that is. Okay. I am a about a week out from my next brand new live training. Maybe you've been hearing me talk about it. It's called 100k group programs. We're going to be talking about the 12 month blueprint to start sell out and scale your group program. I'm actually going to be sharing two different 12 month blueprints, like a month by month guide of what it looks like to go to 100k in a year and then what it looks like to go to 100k in a single launch. It's going to be a great training. It's brand new and I'm super excited about it. And with the training, during the training, I am going to be opening enrollment for my Mastermind sold out group programs. This is my main offer. This is my entire focus. This whole year. When you've heard me talk about boring business, I am just focused on making this mastermind the most amazing place for people who want to start, sell out and scale group programs. Not everyone in the group is even at the point where they're doing group programs yet. Although, you know, I think what ties everyone together is we all know that group programs are going to be a part of our business model either right now or sometime in the future. There are some people in the group who are working on getting booked out with one on one to build up their cash. That is actually a part of the path to group programs is making sure your business is in a really healthy place to be able to sustain group programs. So if you're in that place, if you're listening to this, you've been paying attention, you're like, I do talk to people who are sort of like, I don't know, I'm not really at the group stage yet. We have plenty of people who are like that in the Mastermind as well as people who come in with a group that is either already doing well or kind of struggling or somewhere in between and they just really want to 2x5x10x their enrollment and just make their group program so much better. Some of the clients that come in have a little bit of what I would call offer suite mess, where they just have too many offers or feel that there's some clutter, there's like some decluttering that we need to do to simplify their offers so that they can scale properly. So lots of different people with seemingly different profiles who come into the Mastermind. But like I said, what unites everyone is the ultimate desire to have a group model, whether that is a mastermind, a group program, or even a membership, but some kind of scalable group model that allows you to get out of the time for money, dance and scale past doing one on one so that you can help as many people as you want and you can make the broadest impact that you want and you can, you know, kind of get past the point of being limited by your calendar. Right. So usually that's what I'm going to be doing is, you know, opening the doors and I'm super excited to see who applies and to welcome our new clients. I have so many amazing things coming. I'm going to be talking more about one of them in my next episode, so stay tuned for that. I'm doing something brand new for this group that I've never done before and I cannot wait. But, you know, as I think about opening up the doors for the Mastermind, typically at this point being about a week away, I'll. I'm usually thinking about like, who do I need to overcome objections for? Right. I'm a sales coach, so I gotta talk shop with you all. I tell, talk to my clients a lot about overcoming objections and, you know, helping people get out of their own way and answering their, their, their, you know, hesitations and kind of getting them to take action. This episode is not that this episode is for one specific kind of person. And by the end of this episode, you're going to know if I'm talking to you. Now. I almost didn't record this episode this way because it is such a, I think, a departure from how I would typically approach, again, this point in a launch. And I think my habit or my. Yeah. What I'm used to doing and is patiently addressing every reason that somebody might not be ready. But again, that's not what I want to do today because the truth is, the person that I most want in the sold out group programs, Mastermind, doesn't need to be talked into it. Okay. They need somebody to recognize them and call them out and therefore call them in. This is a big light bulb moment that I had this week where it just really hit me that. And I think this can also be like a teaching moment for all of you are listening to this podcast because you sell things. So I want you to consider this. At certain moments, I have been writing to the quote, unquote, wrong person in my launches and I haven't been doing it on purpose and it's been subtle and subconscious. But in trying to overcome objections and listen, I'm a, like I said, I'm a sales coach. I always feel so, like up for the challenge when it comes to, oh, you have objections, like, let's go, let me help you overcome them. Right. But because of that, I've been writing to the person who's almost in but like not right or the Person who really needs convincing, the person whose excuses are bigger than their motivation, the person who is really like talking themselves out of it, right? And it's not that they can't be helped, and it's not that they can't be successful, but when I think about who the most successful sort of archetype is for the sold out group programs, Mastermind, it has been a different type of person, right? The person who is most ready to come in and hit the ground running and really be successful is on some level already in. Okay? Already nodding, already saying, yes, I want to do this. And that person really just needs me to look them in the eye, which I. Okay, I guess I can just talk right into your ear, right? And say, get in, we're going. It's your time. This is for you. Okay, so that's what I'm doing today. This episode is for them and them might be you. Let's find out. Here's who I'm really calling in, who I want to speak directly to when it comes to the sold out programs. Sold out group programs. Mastermind, you are someone who is already good at what you do when it comes to working with your clients. You don't really doubt that you can help them. You have delivered results for clients. You know that, you know your stuff. You probably even have the thought, if I could just get people's butts into the seats, I'm golden, right? Like, I know what to do with them. If you put them in my room, I know what to do with them. I'm so ready to help them. I. I don't, I don't have like a lack of confidence about my ability to transform them and help them transform, but it's getting them there that I struggle with. Right? You have something to offer that the world needs more of. And you know that you have a deep knowing that you can help the world in some way, right? Whatever your topic is, and we have a broad range of topics in our Mastermind, you're probably sitting somewhere between. When we think about an annual revenue, you're probably sitting somewhere between 20 to 150k, right? Maybe even 50 to 150. There could be kind of outliers on either side. So if we're saying somewhere between 50k to 150, you might be at more like 20 and that's it. But you're ambitious and you're hungry, right? Or you might be not at 150, but more like 180, sometimes even over 200, but you're maybe hovering around that range. You're in this range, and you're proud and you're excited, but you're not quite satisfied. Not because you're greedy, not because something's wrong with you, not because you're behind, but because you know that you are capable of more. You can feel it pulling at you. You can feel it when you're out on a walk. You can feel it when you read about somebody else's killer launch and you think, I could do that, right? Like, this is how I've been feeling. For those who are listening in real time and are on Instagram, we're all kind of studying this Jesse Jean from the YAP challenge, if you know what I'm talking about. I think I've mentioned this on another episode. A lot of us are. Some of us are looking at that and finding reasons to tear her down and going into victim mentality and talking of discrediting her. That's not how I. I roll. I am so inspired. And my thought is, like, why couldn't I figure out how to make a million dollars in 70 minutes? Right? Like, the fact that somebody else is doing it lays the groundwork for the rest of us. So you are somebody who. Who feels that way as well. When you see other people doing it, you're like, awesome. I want to figure out how to do that. You can feel this thing pulling at you. When you see another coach or another teacher, another creator hitting a milestone, and you don't really feel jealous or you don't feel, like, down on yourself, you're not using that to knock yourself down. You're kind of fired up about it. You're like, I want a piece of that. Right? And maybe you're the kind of person who, when you're considering what kind of support you want, what kind of coach you want to work with. When you're reading a sales page, you think, you know, what would it take? What would it take for me to be in a room like this? Like, could this be the room for me? What would it be like if I were to come in and roll up my sleeves? Not going around the Internet thinking, who do they think they are? Who do they think they're kidding? Like, you know, discrediting people. I see. Unfortunately, I see a lot of that across the Internet. Right? You're also not someone you. You don't need someone to coddle you. You need someone to push you. Right? You're not afraid of hard work, but you're probably afraid of wasted work and wasted time and wasted energy. I know. I feel like that I'm like, I will work hard, but do not tell me that I have to waste time. I don't have any time to waste, right? Like, I want the work that I'm doing, the hard work that I'm doing to get me somewhere. You don't want a community of complainers. You are not looking for people to commiserate. You want a room of fighters. You want a room of go getters. You want a room that's gonna lift you up, right? That's gonna help you, move you. Even when you feel down, they're gonna rally around you and remind you who you are. You are somebody who's ready to learn, ready to be uncomfortable, ready to make moves even when you don't know exactly what's gonna happen next. You are ready to roll up your sleeves. You're up for the challenge. You are ready to experiment. You're ready to try and make progress and fall down and get up and go again, right? You might be scared, but you're gonna go anyway, right? You might be feeling like a hell yes. Like, I want all of that. And you're scared about the money. That's normal. You can be a hell yes and feel scared about finding the time. You can be a hell yes and don't 100% know how this is going to work for you yet. And that's really the key word yet. You know, you, you could see that this could work for you, but you don't really know how yet. That's okay. So all of this is who I'm really calling in. And I'm going to tell you a story in just a second about how I realized this. But on top of that, like, so that's kind of like the ethos or like the mental. Like I'm just thinking about my most successful clients who've really come in and created results. They come in ready to work. They come in with the thought. I'm gonna go until I figure it out. I'm gonna trust what's being taught. I'm going to implement this. I'm going to raise my hand, I'm going to move things around so that I can come. I'm going to go all in on myself and on my business and I know that I have what it takes. And I've got my notebook out. Like, I just thinking like, notebook out, front row, ready to go. Some of my most successful clients who are earning the most money in my whole room. And guys, I have people knocking on the door of seven figures a year in my, In My mastermind, we've got people who are on the, you know, 20k have earned 20k all the way up to knocking on the door of a million. And a lot of times it's those people, the second half, the, the some of the highest earners who are front row notebook out, always there to ask their question. And I think that really matters as far as a winning mentality, as far as like tactically, strategically speaking. Who I really want to call into this room. You are someone who is probably kind of in one of two camps. One, you already have a group and you just want to make it better. I love working with this kind of client. So you may have. I hear this all the time. So nothing is wrong with you. If this has happened to you where you have launched and sold and maybe it did well or did okay at one point. But it's been inconsistent lately. Right. It feels a little wobbly. It feels like enrollment's been down and you want to figure out how to fix it. You want to figure out how to 2x5x. This is a typical result that we see for people who come in and implement the buzz blitz system. That is my like selling process that I developed years ago and have been just making better and better. It is battle tested across so many industries. It's what I use myself with. When my clients come in and use it with a group that's kind of wobbly, that's when they're doubling 5xing, 10xing pretty much right away. So if you're the type of person who has a group and just wants to come in and make it better and implement and you are ready to go and you're ready for the coaching and you're open minded and you're ready to be pushed. You're going to kill it in my room. That's the first type. The second type is maybe you don't have a group yet or you don't have an active group right now. Sometimes people have had them in the past but they don't right now or they're not totally sure. You might want to work on your one on one first. If you're somebody who needs to or wants to build up your cash reserves, you want to have six months of Runway in the bank, which is definitely something. I recommend three to six months of Runway in the bank so that you have a lot of options and aren't feeling financially stressed. We have lots of people who come in, work with me to get booked out. I have a sales call training this one training alone of how my five step process to do consultative sales training. So I'm sorry, sales calls. I said sales training because I developed it in my sales training days. This one video has helped so many people make so much money because it's my process for getting people on a call with you and closing them darn near, close to 100% of the time. And if you're not closing at 100%, we help you get closer and closer to that. You know, we want you closing 80 to 90% of your sales calls and that's totally possible for you. So you might be somebody who's going to come in and get booked out with your one on one offer and then we will help you figure out what your group offer should be. This is also the type of person who can come in and just absolutely kill it. We have had clients come in and client drought, that is no clients on their books or dwindling clients like it's going dry. The well has run dry. They've come in, they've used our process and our 30 day fast track to get three clients in a month at least. Sometimes people do more and they're using our sales call process to close those sales and they get fully booked. So we've had people come in from client drought struggling to find any clients to fully booked out to. Then going into our group program course to learn how to start a group. They start their first group, then they use our enrollment system called Buzz Blitz to be sold out. And then we help them scale it. We've had some clients do who've been with us long enough who've done multiple rotations of the Buzz Blitz that they pretty much rinsing and repeating. And we're helping them do things like hire a VA and get some support on their team and figure out how to better use their time. Okay, so that's the second type of person. Even if you're starting, you know, you're like, I don't really have a group yet or I don't know if I should have a group yet or I just want to. I'm working on one on one. Totally great. That's part of the process of having a sold out group. Okay, so that might be you. If you're like ready to come in and you're not. I'm thinking one of my clients right now, she came in, I mean talk about like putting all of your cards on the table. She came in with serious financial fears. I mean we're talking trying to figure out how we're going to pay the bills, okay. But she was hungry and she was ambitious and she was ready and she had sold before. So she got to work. She has come to the calls with notebook open. She's been going through my curriculum. She's on a completely different time zone across the world and that has not stopped her at all. Within six weeks, she has more than doubled her investment in the sold out group programs. Mastermind. And that really comes down to yes, what we teach works. It's again, it's tried and true. It has helped so many people across so many industries. And so I've like really, you know, summarized what I've seen work and put it into as cohesive and tight of a package as I can. And then we have the coaching to go with it, which I think is just on like that just helps you go so much faster. But you have to be somebody who's ready to go for it. It's okay if you're busy. It's okay if you have like I have multiple clients right now who have family members in the hospital who have personal crises, who have vacations, it's summertime. But the, the thing is, they don't let any of that stop them. They don't wait for perfect conditions. They're not waiting for life to slow down. They're the type of people who are taking life by the horns and are saying, I'm in control now. Right? We don't control everything that happens in our lives, but we do have the ability to control our results. And we can come in with the belief that things can change and that we can change things with our actions and with our thoughts and by trying different things and being open to falling on our face. That's the other thing when I think about clients like this is they're willing to get out there and try. They're willing to post their content, they're willing to reach out to people, they're willing to do what we tell them to do. Right? And of course, if there's ever something that doesn't feel right for you, you're the boss. But in general, having a mentality of I'm up for the challenge, I'm ready to get to work. So if you're hearing this and you're thinking, yeah, I want to be in a room with people like that, that's this room, right? I am that coach who's leading us because that's like, I'm in a very hungry, ambitious part of my business as well. And it occurred to me the other day and I'm going To share in just a second a story about this, just how valuable it is for you to be led by a coach who is really going for it. I have benefited so much by working with coaches and mentors who are really going for it themselves. There is nothing like an experienced coach with a goal, right? Like, I could coach you from a place of apathy, from a place of coasting, and you could still get really good results with me. But my clients will tell you when I'm going for it. Everybody benefits because I'm lit up, I'm on fire, I'm trying new things, I'm putting myself out there. I am willing to go first. I am willing to go into the fire and learn and bring it back in my inner circle. My clients are the ones that I'm sharing all of those hard fought lessons with. Okay, so here's the part that I'll be honest about. This is how I. Part of how I realized this. This year, very recently, I came close to taking a break from coaching myself as far as like me having a mentor, me having a coach, right? I've been in this headspace of like, I kind of know what I need to do. I feel very clear on what my next steps are on paper, on keywords, on paper, right? It's like I have the plan, I know what my goal is. I've told you all what it is. I am wanting to scale and I know what I need to do. Like I literally, I know what I need to do. I don't need a new strategy, I don't need new tactics. I really feel clear that what I like, the, the enrollment system that I have that I teach is going to be the thing that doubles my revenue, which is my goal. Right? And so because of all this, there was a real moment where I almost talked myself out of proactively getting coaching because I'm coming to a place where I've been heavily mentored. I know I've talked about since coming back to business. I. It was always been very, very important to me to be heavily supported and heavily mentored. I've come to a point where I was like, maybe it's time for me to like, just sometimes I hear this from other people and I heard myself saying it, like, trust my intuition, right? Like just kind of integrate and just implement. Spend the next few months implementing everything I've learned and then I can decide if I want to go into somebody's mastermind or, you know, what I'm going to do next. And the long and short of it is I just made a huge investment in my next mentorship in a new mastermind for myself. And I'm going to tell you why I did that. It's not because I needed someone to teach me the basics. Like I said, I know what to do. It's because I needed to be mentored by somebody who's freaking going for it. Right? Someone who is hungry, ambitious, not afraid of big goals. Somebody who's ahead of me, who I like. Just being around their energy of going for it, of trying and not being afraid to be seen trying, motivates me. Right? Because the thing is, even when you know what to do, how you do it changes when you're not in a room with people who are also going to. Let me say that again because it's so important. Even when you think you know what to do next, how you do it changes when you're by yourself, when you're not in a room with people who are also going for it. Okay. And being led by somebody who's really going for it. Right. For me, it looks like a little quiet quitting. Like I'm doing all the actions but a little quieter, a little bit of self sabotage, a little bit of playing small to me. And in my experience, that's what happens when you don't have a coach. That's what happens when you don't have the room around you to push you. It's like a rising tide lifting all boats. Even just being in a great group program and a great mastermind. Part of it is just in the osmosis. It's just in the water, right? And I want to be really clear that, you know, for me joining and just like making this investment, which like my brain of course was like, I have the money, but maybe I could keep the money. Like maybe I could. That was my thought, is like maybe I could use the money for other things. Like this money could help me get like six months of help from another support coach in my program as an example. Right. But ultimately I decided to go for it again. It's not because I couldn't do it on my own. It's not that I'm not capable, but I'm a human, right? I'm a human being with a human brain. And we have thoughts. We have thoughts that go unchecked, we get off track, we doubt ourselves, we think it might be a good idea to close our business and get a job. Like that's what happened to me when I didn't have a room and a mentor who really had my back in Those moments. And you know, I don't have any regrets cuz it all worked out the way it needed to. But I think I didn't need to go on that whole side quest, right? Like that was optional and I was just not in the right mentorship at the time. So listen, under, I understand making an investment is expensive, but I can tell you just how expensive those side quests really can be. And that's like, I kept like trying to give myself the option of taking the break, of like just integrating and implementing on my own. And it just kept feeling off. I kept feeling like, well, shoot, like if I go for it on my own for the next few months and then I start to feel off track and then I make an okay shoot, now it's time for me to get into a mastermind. Like, you don't want to wait. In my opinion, you don't want to wait until things feel bad. You don't want to wait until you're in a mess. We can help you if you're in a mess. I've helped lots of messes. But something I've learned too. I actually have learned this with working with my one on one life coach that I work with. We were talking about how sometimes I'll come to a call. Maybe you felt this. If you've had coaching or even therapy, you know those sessions you go to where you're like, I don't know what I want to talk about today. Like, things are going pretty good. My coach always tells me that those are her favorite calls because we get into some of the deep stuff. It's like the analogy I have for this is if you go into the emergency room with like an acute injury, like you're gushing blood, right? They're going to just be stopping the bleeding. That's not going to be the moment that they're going to like optimize your blood sugar or like, you know, optimize your, your vitality. Right? You need to get out of acute distress. Can you guys tell? I've been watching the pit and emergency room show. This is the only analogy that's coming to me. But you would need to become stabilized and then we could tackle some of the like overall health, right? It's kind of the same thing in business. Like if you wait until you're gushing blood, you'll have to spend the next six months stabilizing. Whereas if you come in like this is the place that I'm entering, my next mentorship is like, I'm doing good, I'm doing Really, really well. I think I could be doing better. And what's great is like, because I'm doing well, because I'm stable, I am up for the challenge. Do you see that? I'm up for being challenged in a different way than I would be if I were in acute distress, if everything was a total disaster. So if you're somebody who's like, yeah, like, I think I, I think I got it, don't let that be like, I think that's a bit of a trap and I just would encourage you if it resonates, if it doesn't, that's totally fine. But for me, that's what kept coming back up. For me. I was, I was like, you know, maybe the fact that things aren't bad is a great reason to be pushed, to be mentored, to get coaching right now. Okay, so here's the deal. If you're hearing me and you're nodding, if you're feeling that pull, that let's go energy, you've been paying attention to me. You're like, I think this is, this is how I felt with my, the new mastermind I've joined. I'm like, I think this is like the coach, my coach for this next season. Like, I think I, I think I found my person for a while. Right? If you're feeling that, if you're scared and you're in, like, that's how I was feeling, I like clicked go and I was scared. But also so in. You can be both at the same time. If that's you, this is your invitation. Okay. I am hosting a free training next Wednesday at July, July 8th at noon Eastern time. There will be a replay for a limited time, but I'd love to see you there because I'm going to be doing some live coaching and I'm also going to open the doors with a special bonus. It will be the best time to enroll. Um, the training is called 100k group programs. Your 12 month blueprint to start, sell out and scale. And then like I said, I'll be opening the doors to the mastermind. It's called sold out group programs. This is the room for the people who are coming with me, people who are ready to make their first 100k, people who are ready to launch their first group, People who are ready to go from 400k to a million. Yes. They have clients that do that for people who are ready to think bigger than they've let themselves think before. I've had clients, hit multiple clients last year. It was so fun at the end of last year, I had multiple clients be like, this is my first six figure a year. I had half a dozen clients have their first six figure year last year at least, right? I've had clients get out of real debt, like incredibly, incredibly inspiring clients who had to put it on a credit card and who were in debt who managed to buckle down and get themselves in a dramatically different position. Now I've had clients in true financial fear, double that investment quickly. I've had clients, like I said, go from 400k to nearly a million. I've had everything in between. And these aren't unicorns. These aren't special cases. These are people who showed up, did the work, and let themselves go for it. And that can be you. Why not you? That's a question I'd like you to ask yourself. So if this episode hit different, if you're feeling that, let's go energy, that's your sign. Don't sit on it. Be sure to come to my class at on July 8th at noon eastern time. You can go to stephcrowder.comworkshop and get in touch. Courage & Clarity | Episode 196 | Host: Steph Crowder | June 29, 2026
In this motivational and tactical solo episode, Steph Crowder speaks directly to those entrepreneurs who are already going for it—the ambitious, driven business owners ready to break into new revenue levels or scale their coaching or group programs. Moving away from her usual sales objection handling, Steph offers a transparent look at who the "Sold Out Group Programs Mastermind" is really for, her philosophy on mentorship, and what separates high-achieving coaches from the rest. The episode is equal parts rallying call and strategic insight, ideal for anyone navigating the leap from competent coach to industry leader.
On target audience:
“The person who is most ready to come in and hit the ground running and really be successful is, on some level, already in… they just need me to look them in the eye and say, ‘Get in, we're going. It’s your time. This is for you.’” — Steph Crowder [08:00]
On motivation vs. excuses:
“I’ve been writing to the person whose excuses are bigger than their motivation… but when I think about who the most successful sort of archetype is… it has been a different type of person.” — Steph Crowder [09:15]
On industry comparisons:
“When you see another coach or creator hitting a milestone, you don’t really feel jealous… you’re fired up about it. ‘I want a piece of that.’” — Steph Crowder [12:45]
On mindset:
“You are ready to be uncomfortable, ready to make moves even when you don’t know exactly what’s gonna happen next. You’re up for the challenge.” — Steph Crowder [15:20]
On the cost of going it alone:
“It’s not because I couldn’t do it on my own… but I’m a human being with a human brain. We have thoughts… we get off track.” — Steph Crowder [34:40]
On waiting until things are bad:
“You don’t want to wait until things feel bad… Don’t wait until you’re in a mess.” — Steph Crowder [36:30]
Final rallying call:
“Why not you? That’s a question I’d like you to ask yourself.” — Steph Crowder [41:00]
