Sometimes, when life shifts beneath our feet, it can feel like our dreams are out of reach—or even irrelevant. But history is full of stories reminding us that our circumstances don't have to define the limits of what we imagine.

Take Esther, for example—a woman who faced unexpected changes that could have crushed her spirit but instead opened a door to a greater purpose.

Esther was a woman whose life was filled with unexpected shifts and daunting challenges. She started as a young orphan raised by her cousin, suddenly found herself chosen as queen in a foreign land, and faced a moment when her courage to dream bigger meant risking everything to save her people.

Your story might look different, but the lesson remains—life can change and twist your path, but it cannot take away your God-given capacity to dream.

Jeremiah 29:11 says, "For I know the plans I have for you," declares the Lord, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future."

That hope lives in the heart of every dream God plants inside you.

Dreaming is not about having it all figured out or living in a fantasy. It's about holding on to the vision of who you're meant to be and trusting that your journey, even the detours, are part of something bigger.

It's the light that pushes you forward on tough days when giving up feels easier. It's the seed of possibility that grows into something meaningful because you refused to let life's circumstances silence your imagination.

So if you find yourself in a season that feels heavy, if your original dreams feel out of reach or even faded, remember that you are created to dream.

Your dreams may evolve—sometimes dramatically—but they are still alive. Nourish them, protect them, and let them guide you to the next step.
