When I started podcasting, an online store was the furthest thing from my mind. Now I'm selling my group coaching on the regular and it is just so easy. All because I use Shopify. I'm on this journey with me each week. When you join me, we are going to chase down our goals, overcome adversity and set you up for a better tomorrow. I'm ready for my close up. Hi and welcome back. I'm so glad you're back here with me this week. Okay, so it's been a crazy, I don't even know, 10 days or something and it goes back for me to having my in person mastermind. I have an annual mastermind and twice a year bring everybody into Miami where we do live, coaching, training, working around, speaking. Have a great dinner. But I'll tell you when you have a few days like this. And I actually had, my business partner was in town from la. I had some clients that I had actually never met in real life before, were in town for a huge expo, a real estate expo. So I had to meet with them. I obviously have a mother and I had this big Mastermind event and then I was leaving immediately for LA right after it, so for work. So it's one of those windows in time where I was getting so stressed out leading up to it. Do you feel me on this? Right? Like you start freaking out, thinking everything that you need to take care of, obviously things are always going to go wrong. You know, there's going to be balls drop, but obviously there's always going to be miracles that show up and amazing things that occur as well. And I was super excited about a number of different things, but felt really overwhelmed thinking about, you know, the ten day window. So what I've learned to do, I mean, you could tell me I'm crazy, but it does work, is I truly believe anything can happen in 24 hours. I've seen it my whole life. This was how I managed my media career, my teams, every. I would remind everybody of this because very last minute we would get direction from clients, locations would change on meetings, flights would change and everything would change in 24 hours. So you had to be able to roll with the punches. And this is also some of the positive feedback I get from my speaking career now is that I'll just make whatever work, right? So go into things with that attitude that whatever's going to happen, whatever gets thrown at me, I'm going to make it work. It's going to, whatever door closes, the better one's opening, there's Gonna be some miracle as a result of whatever changes occur. So that's how I choose to approach things. Again, still doesn't necessarily make it easier in the moment, but, you know, I kind of put a pin in things that I can. If something can hold off until after the chaos is over, put a pin in that and pick it back up when you're done with all the things right in front of you. But it can be overwhelming if you start fixating on all the things in a 10 day period you need to accomplish. So I really try to take things at a 24 hour window when you're in it, right? Like leading up to it, you know, in the month ahead you want to be planning things out a bit more. But as you get closer and closer to launch and those chaotic moments definitely take it day by day because again, miracles are going to show up, amazing things are going to happen and things are just going to change. And in the end it's all going to work out. So just keep looking for the solutions. You know, don't put your eyes, energy and effort on the objections or challenges in front of you. Stay focused on the solutions and watch everything come together. So it's just, it's been a while, 10 days and I'm so excited it's behind me. Like, don't you feel so proud of yourself, accomplished and grateful when it's all behind you? Granted, because of my approach to things, the way that I handle it, and because I definitely overschedule myself and commit to a lot of things, which in my opinion, if you really want to go to the next level, you're going to need to, you know, take on some work, right? It's not, it might be simple to get ahead. It's not easy, right? You still have to make sacrifices, say no to different things and show up and go all in on the things that you decide to. So for me, you know, I'm in a phase right now where I've taken on some major partnerships this year. My new partner in LA partners in Arizona, and of course running my regular business and growing my regular business. So it's been an interesting dance. That's what I'll tell you. Especially being on the west coast so much this year. So flights are wild because you're kind of out of the game for a window of time and of course that can be frustrating. You're like, oh my gosh, for six hours I'm not in my home office and able to work on the things or I'm not out on the stage speaking and impacting people. You can get frustrated or you can try to turn those windows of time into something beneficial. And that's what I'm trying to do. I've been trying to meditate on my flights. I've been doing my Mindvalley app, shout out to Vishen. So I've definitely been trying to make good use of those times. But when you get back and you're out of the window. I'm out of the window right now. Right. I'm back home. I'm home for the next two weeks, which is. Well, I think I am. Who knows if I really will be, but at least for one week, I know for sure I'm home. And now it's catch up time. Now it's all of the emails that I had kind of been putting off, all of the follow up I had kind of been putting off. I call it put a pin in something. If it's not a major priority and you have other priorities, put a pin in it. Let them know you're traveling, you're out of pocket for two weeks and you'll be back in touch. I've been doing that. Now, of course the podcast is going to be, you know, I'm going to be hearing from my podcast team. Where are all the new interviews? Well, there aren't any right now. I need to start creating some. Right. So you have to hit the gas pedal on certain parts of your business, certain parts of your life and then you're going to be pulling off in other areas. Right. So I'm not going out as much with my friends or meeting people or, you know, I'm going all in on the business side. My son, thankfully, is in such a great place in his life right now. I'm able to do that. But as you know, if you've been with me for a while during COVID I had to walk away from everything else and go all in on my child because he needed me. Right? So there's going to be ebbs and flows, timing will change and be different. Whatever is happening right now will not stay. And for me, I know that and I want to share this with you. These last 10 days, I just realized there's always better ways to do something. Right? So the way I had run in my in person training last, I did it in such a better way this year, but I didn't know till I tried it. Right. You have to test and try different things. You have to walk away from partners or situations that are no longer serving you to give something else a chance to See if there's a better way to do it. And it's not always going to work out ideally. But I do promise you this, if you listen to yourself, if you ask God, the universe for answers, you're going to find them. You're going to find better ways. And then the biggest thing I can tell you is this. People will show you the solutions. Meaning. I've learned this so much this year from my partner in la. It's not about the how, it's about the who. We just have to find the person that's already done it, the person that's already doing it at a higher level than we are, the person that's the expert on it, tap them and have them plug and play what their solution is into our business, our company, our life, and watch everything take off. And it's so, so true. And I keep seeing this time and time again. So I'm constantly focused on the who. And I'll tell you, one of the ways to find the who is to put yourself in community with people that are in different industries than you have, different perspectives, are different parts of the country than you. They're going to be having different experiences, different networks of people. Don't just stay in your little network. I did that in the media business for 20 years. I stayed with my head down in my little media network. And yeah, on the outside, people would think it probably looked like a huge industry. And that's great. No, it's terrible because I was just circling the drain, staying with the same people, not getting access to new information, not pushing myself to learn and get to know different networks of people, different industries. So please let me challenge you to push you to go to the next level, get yourself in some new environments. Inner Fifth is the company that I'm partnered with in la. And I'll tell you the amount. I've been now partnered with my partner Tracy for three months, three and a half months, four months, and the amount of people I've met in completely new and different industries, the amount of information I have gained, the amount of knowledge I have now that I'm applying back to, my business is going to completely transform the way I do things. And I'm so frustrated. I didn't learn this stuff a couple of years ago. Right. But I wouldn't have if I hadn't found the who her. Right? So it's all about, take that next meeting, go to that next opportunity, invest in yourself, in community. There's so many paid opportunities for community out there. A great example of that is my mastermind. And I'll tell you this in person event. One thing that I saw that was so powerful, people come into the trainings and the programs I have for me, right? Because that's who they know me. Why they stay is for the community. They've got 20 other people on the team supporting them, challenging them in different industries than they are seeing things differently, offering their perspective and encouragement. Everybody needs to be encouraged, everyone needs to be challenged. Everybody needs to be a part of a team. Don't go it alone. And if in your world you're saying I'm kind of going it alone because no one has the ambition that I do, or no one's in this kind of a situation or entrepreneurial initiative that I'm in, then find a community out there that has those people. You don't need to be struggling alone. You need to find the who, not the how. That is the answer for sure. Meet a different guest each week. What does the future hold for business? Ask nine experts and you'll get 10 different answers. A bull market. A bear market. Rates will rise. Rates will fall. Could someone just give me a crystal ball please? Okay, so one of the things I saw at my in person training was just how many people were still full of self doubt. So if you're doubting yourself right now, you are not alone. My friends I have teams of people I work with, teach and train on the regular and they still struggle with it, right? Everybody does. I struggled with it this week when I was out in LA in some really different environments with people from Google and people from Microsoft and people who are billionaires running at different levels than I am. Sometimes you second guess yourself when you walk into those meetings. That's okay. That means you're stepping into fear, choosing to see fear as a green light. That means go and go faster. And when you do that, you feel really proud of what you've accomplished on the back end. And that's definitely how I'm feeling right now. Even though I still might be a little overwhelmed and a little tired. I'm super excited for all the ground that we covered and everything that I learned. It's just, it's funny when you're in school, when we're younger, I wasn't so hyped about learning. And now after having been in that corporate environment, you know, for 20 years, I really wasn't learning that much. I wasn't getting new information, new industries, new access. And today I'm getting so much new information, so much new access. My speaking partners now on the speaking side of my business are completely challenging me. Asked me if I would give a Christian talk, which I had never done before, and immediately I said yes, right? Like I love that. On the speaking side of my business, I'm running with people who are light years ahead of me. The best speaker in the world, so grateful for that. And then on my community side of the business in la, I'm running with a woman who sold companies for hundreds of millions of dollars and is light years ahead of me there. Get yourself around people who have done the Things you want to do, end of story, right? Hard stop. If you're not with those people, you've got to seek them out. You've got to make an investment in yourself. You've got to go serve and support those people to gain access. And when you do, watch yourself self take off. I have seen it time and time again and I'm living it right now with myself. Yes, it can be exhausting. Yes, it can be challenging to push yourself. But what's more challenging to be sitting in the same chair that you're in right now next year, saying, why did I waste another year not going for my dreams, not pushing myself to my potential? We are here on this planet for a finite period of time. No one knows how much time we have. Live your life to your potential. Do the next right thing. Amplify your voice, Elevate your personal brand. Allow people to get to know like and trust you before they've ever met you, so you can start having a positive impact on their life. The world needs your light. You are here for a reason. And the frequency and voice and energy you have is going to be unique and special to you. And there are people out there that are waiting for you to connect with them. Take this as your sign. Now is the time for you to move. Okay, so I want to get into a couple of things that I learned actually out in one of my events this week in or last week in LA for our community. We brought in the lead AI person from Google to teach and train our team. And I actually had one of my girlfriends who is an incredible expert in AI, one of the world's best. And she sat in there and when she was done, she said to me, I'm completely blown away. So this is a lead expert in AI. We were being coached and trained by another lead expert in AI and my friend who's one of the best in the world, she said, I don't know a fraction of what this person does, right? So no matter how far along you think you are, there's always someone else we can learn from. There's always another vantage point we can gain access to or perspective that we don't have. A training that we needed to help us put that puzzle together so that we can go to that next level. Never think you've maxed out on knowledge because we certainly have not. So I'm just going to give you at a high level some of the things that we learned. Jesus. It's incredible. Whether you use Chat, GPT or Claude or whatever tool you're using for your AI, keep using it is first and foremost right because it's going to save you hours a week in time. It's essentially your assistant, it's essentially your research person, it's essentially your backend team. The investment you need to make is so, so small. The investment is really your time in figuring out and taking some of these trainings on what is the best way to use AI. For me, that was definitely it. The framework our partner from Google gave us was just. It blew me away. Here's the biggest takeaway that I can give you. Talking to ChatGPT, Cloud or whatever product you're using for your AI as a person, and not only a person, but as a big ego. Number one, you want to give them history, relevant skills and experience that you're expecting them to have, right? Because I will understand it. You want to give them an attitude, a mentality and you want to give them a very specific task. The what and how you want them to do something right. So I love this. One of the things that we learned was to address AI in this way. Say you are an award winning, world renowned expert in the marketing field, working for McKinsey for over 20 years. You are their top employee. This is how you're speaking to AI when you want them to put together a marketing strategy for you. So you're giving them this background and this history into who they are, who you're asking AI to be. Then you're going to talk about. Your style is curious, helpful, your energy is one committed to helping others and explaining things in the most simplistic way. Because we want them to speak in a helpful, encouraging and positive way to us, to teach us. Your tone is professional, informal, humorous, persuasive, whatever it is that you want them to take on. And then you know, you want to ask them very specifically for what it is that you're asking them for. You are going to be delivering me a marketing plan or strategy for the next six months, 12 months during this time of year for this industry. And you want to be as specific as possible. So you know, giving them examples is a great idea we learned. Like you can upload a PDF and say, here is a password, one that we had created. We would like your feedback and advice on where we could improve what we did right, what we did wrong. Please explain it to us. The amount of it really comes down to the prompts that we're asking, not the AI itself. It's about us. It's about how we're empowering the AI to succeed. And do the job that we're asking them to do now. I will tell you, I had never used AI in this manner before. I had just asked it simple questions. I never realized I had to give it an identity, a history, a style, a voice, and how specific I needed to be. So that was very, very eye opening. There's an AI for that. Dot com was one of the sites that we learned about where you can go to and find really any type of AI solution for any problem that you have. So I encourage you to go access that. Think Buddy was the AI tool that this person from Google was sharing with us. It's not chatgpt, it's not Claude. It's like an assimilation of all of them into ones, which I thought was pretty cool. So definitely check that out again. Use whatever works for you. It's really about the prompts, that and the history and the tone and the framework that you're giving it. That's the most important thing. I can't get into more than that because I don't want to step on the proprietary information that was shared. But I do want you to know this. AI isn't so much about the site that you're going to, it's about how you're setting it up to answer the questions that you're asking. Give it a history, give it a personality, basically give it a resume. Stroke that big ego and tell them they're the best of the best of world renowned, expert in whatever it may be. Get more specific than you think you need to be. Those that deal in specific seldom fail. Those that deal in generality seldom get good information from AI, I'll tell you that much. And that's definitely something that I learned walking away from this. Okay, the next speaker that we had was a billionaire. He's in the process of finalizing a book all around Manifestation, Mind movies and some of the hacks that he's deployed in his life that he believes brought him to the pinnacle of success and he continues to live this way, which I think that's another really cool indicator that someone's found a hack that really works is when you're still using it on the regular. So I'm going to give you a couple of them. His whole attitude is that it's a game, life is a game and you are player number one, right? Like you are the main character and everyone else is supporting your main character energy. So you need to have this clear vision, this clear intention for what it is that you want to succeed in. You need to be approaching Life and the most high energy positive frequencies. And this goes back to why we need to get rid of negative people in our life, why we need to leave the bad relationship, get rid of the friends who are actual frenemies and sucking the life out of you. Get out of the job that is no longer serving you right, because things do change over time. But back to what this billionaire was teaching. Until you're running at a really high level where your frequency is high, your outlook is positive, the people around you are encouraging you and challenging you to grow. And champions for you, you're a champion for yourself. Until you're there, you're not going to reach your potential because you're going to be in the single player game, the one holding yourself back. So he talked to us a lot about all the information that we surround ourselves with. What you're reading at night, what shows you're watching, the people you're talking to, getting yourself into this constant mindset. He talked a lot about Dr. Joe Dispenza, which I love his work as well is that of course it happens for you. How could it not? Approaching everything from that attitude that things show up when you put your intentions on it and your belief and knowing not only that it's possible for you, but that it's absolutely happening for you. It's this firm commitment and belief that miracles are always happening and why wouldn't they show up today so it cannot not happen to you. These are some of my notes that I'm actually reading to you. The game will always want to limit you. It's a single player game. It's up to you to move away from those limitations, find the path around and just keep focusing on what it is that you're creating. Don't let anything get in your way. It's this limiting beliefs is what ruins people and their dreams and their potential. We're not going to let it ruin us. He talks about doing the easy things first. Starting off, taking a small bite of something first, a small manifestation challenge. Over time your subconscious will start to accept that this is a new way of thinking, that things are always working out for you. And you can start working your way up to much larger visions and intentions and big picture goals. When you have limiting beliefs. We want to cancel those thoughts, not hang on to them, not ruminate with them. We want to fire those negative thoughts. And he talks a lot about meditating and how important meditating is. So he got me to reengage. You know, I have not been the best meditator in the world. And he really convinced me that, you know, this is a big piece of creating the future. Vision and obtaining those intentions and dreams that you have for yourself gets around or you need to get back to the space of calm, the space of peace. And meditation is one of the best ways to do that. He talked about how we have 60,000 thoughts and, you know, so many of them are negative. And the idea is to clear your mind. Meditation is one of the ways to do that and to get by repeating good behaviors often that's how we get ourself into the routine of clearing our subconscious out of this negativity, setting these clear intentions and starting to understand that this is our new way of life. We're going to meditate, we're going to get clarity, we're going to drop the negativity and we're going to accept that it's always been happening for us. We've always been the one player, the single player in the game. And when you match that intention, that direction, that vision, you know, I believe in writing all that stuff down, but then pair it with your heart and magnetize it with your heart and this belief and this feeling that it's all really happening. And the more often you do that, the more you start this repeatable behavior, the more success that you're going to begin to see. And I really paused for a minute, was thinking back across my career and the different things that I've accomplished. And it's always been this, when great things have started happening, it's this innate belief. I don't know how it's going to happen. I just know it will meet a different guest each week. Get yourself in the right communities, right around those right people. You're gonna start seeing magic happen. And this is truly what he walked us through again. This man's a billionaire living a pretty amazing life. I will tell you where your attention goes. Your energy flows. It's where your reality follows. If something's blocking you on the path, your path will be Rerouted to get you to your destination. So don't get too taken aback. That was like me when I got fired, right? I was getting really taken aback by the getting fired instead. Now I see what he's saying. Something was blocking my path. Meant to be, you know, to where my final destination was meant to be. I couldn't get to where I was meant to be or reach my potential if I stayed in corporate at that C suite position. So I had to be redirected to something greater. I had to be fired. And when you start understanding that, it's like a, an epiphany moment. It's incredible. He talks again about meditating and then manifesting after you meditate to clear your mind and then open your heart to magnetize what it is that you're trying to pull towards you. Again, way different way than. I definitely wasn't raised this way, but I know this stuff works. I've heard it enough and I've heard it in different ways, which is super powerful. The more we immerse ourselves in teaching and learning in different voices, different energy and different directions, one day you'll start seeing these things will just start clicking. But you've got to put the time and effort in, okay? He talks a lot about the idea that you're a main character. There are supporting characters all around you. You have the gift of creation. God made us in his image. All of that is within you and you just start believing it and exercising it and doing it for the good. He talks about the principle of reversibility, which is the emotion, force of causation, feeling that you already have it reverse engineering, right, that all these things have already happened starting from the place of where you're actually going to end up. I mean, this was an all day event. So I'm giving you super high level. But then he's saying normalize the feeling of having it. Like just keep doing it so often that of course you know it's going to happen. This is what your normal is. You're dropping worry, you're dropping fear. And again, this is a discipline and a practice. And he talks a lot about faith and certainty and the pairing of the two. So really rooting yourself in faith and in God. And I am so on page with him on that one. Okay. His equation is the what plus the why plus the who equals the how and the when. And to his point he's like, the how and the when is God's work, not yours. But what you need to figure out is what is it that you want why is it that you want it and who do you need to be to start receiving it? And I just thought that was a really, really cool equation. Then he got into mind movies, which if you haven't seen this work, Joe Dispenza has us in his book Supernatural. There's a company out there called Mind Movies. I had never actually done a mind movie or seen one in real time. He shared his with us. He has done over 10 different mind movies. They're super easy to do, by the way. Very simple. Maybe I'll actually do a live video on this to show you guys how to do it at some point, but let me know if you want to see that. I was blown away by how simplistic it was and the testimonial he gave to us in regards to the impact, phenomenal impact that it's had on his life. That's like a real hard and fast overview of the past 10 days and just some of the insights I took away which have blown me away. Get in the room with the people who are doing the things that you want to do. Access the information you haven't accessed yet. It is going to change you fundamentally. It is going to change your business fundamentally. It is going to change the way that you think. Don't find yourself one year from now sitting in the same place saying, why didn't I take action? So often I meet people and they say, yeah, Heather, you got fired. You were lucky. That pushed you to make change. But I'm the one that chooses to keep making change every day, right? So don't take it as a, oh, that person could do it because of here's why or here's why that person can. Those are excuses. Start saying, how can I challenge myself to invest in me? How can I challenge myself to get in different rooms? How can I challenge myself to go to the next level? I'll always share with you. You know, Interfift is a phenomenal female entrepreneur community. I will link it in the show notes below. That is definitely one of the ways that you can join one of my communities. For sure. My mastermind is full for this year, so I cannot put you in there. But I do have boot camps right now that I have been running over the last couple of months. And the success and life changing momentum that I'm seeing in these participants is nothing short of miraculous. And a big part of it is that discipline and that accountability of showing up every week knowing you've got a team counting on you, knowing you've got a team of people like minded to you that are running at a fast level. Sharing their goals and going for more and watching others take off only pushes you to move faster, do more and get to your next level. So if you want to join one of my boot camps, I'm only offering these for the next two months. You've got to click in the link in the show notes below to sign up. You want to check out inner 5th female entrepreneurs only? Check it out. My programs are for men and women so I would love to see you in either one of these or I would just like to see you, invest in you and join some community that's going to allow you to access information you didn't currently have so you can become a new, better version of you that you didn't know yet until next week. Keep creating your confidence. You know I will be. I decided to change that dynamic. I couldn't be more excited about or what you're going to hear. Start learning and growing. Inevitably something will happen. No one succeeds alone. You don't stop and look around once in a while. You could miss it. Come on this journey with me.
