Everyone talks about the excitement of growth.

The confidence. The breakthroughs. The next level.

But almost no one talks about the grief.

Because every new version of you requires an old version of you to be released.

And even when that version of you no longer serves you, she was still familiar.

Maybe she was the people-pleaser. The over-giver. The woman who always put everyone else first. The one who stayed small, stayed safe, avoided conflict, or kept the peace at all costs.
