CT Townsend at Victory Baptist Church shares the Sunday messages of Pastor CT Townsend from Victory Baptist Church in North Augusta, South Carolina. Victory exists to help people know God, discover their purpose, and live a life of victory. Each episode delivers biblical truth, practical application, and passionate preaching to encourage and equip you in your walk with Christ—whether you’re part of the Victory family or joining from anywhere in the world.

In Part 3 of the Rest series, Pastor CT Townsend preached from Matthew 11:28–30 on the rest that can only be found in Jesus. He explained the difference between the rest Jesus gives through salvation and the rest we find when we surrender our control, take His yoke upon us, and learn to walk at His pace. This message is a powerful reminder that the burden is not light because life is easy, but because we are no longer carrying it alone. True rest for the soul is found when we stop striving, release our own plans, and rely fully on the strength of Christ.

Pastor CT continued our REST series with a timely reminder that rest isn't found in doing less...it's found in putting God first. In a world that constantly pulls at our attention, we were challenged to be still, give God first place in our lives, learn to say no to good things so we can say yes to the best things, and trust the pace and timing of God. "You will never know the peace of Jesus while refusing the pace of Jesus."

This message is Part 1 of the "REST" sermon series! It is a great reminder that Jesus is still saying, "Come unto me...and I will give you rest." In a world that never slows down, we are thankful for a Savior who restores weary souls, brings peace in the middle of storms, and reminds us that His yoke is easy and His burden is light.

In Genesis 28:16, Jacob woke up and said, "Surely the Lord is in this place." God meets us right in the middle of our mess. He doesn't wait until it's fixed, He comes to where we are. In our running...He shows up. In our rejection...He's still working. Even in our weakness...He uses it for His glory. We may see a mess...but God sees a miracle.

We are thankful for such a great message from Pastor CT on Graduation Sunday! He reminded us that we are chosen by God and called out of darkness into His marvellous light. This message challenged us to be ATMOSPHERE CHANGERS...to carry Jesus into every room we walk into and let our lives point people to Him. No matter how many times you've failed, your story is not over. God still uses broken people to shine His light in a dark world.

This powerful Mother's Day Message reminds us that long before there was a Moses, there was a mother who loved, protected, prayed, prepared, and trusted God with her child. From the banks of the river to the palace of Egypt, God's hand was guiding every step! A mother's influence matters more than words can say. The prayers prayed in private... The protection no one else sees... The faith to believe God has a purpose for your child... Those things carry farther than you know!

In this message from Pastor CT, we were reminded that salvation isn't just random or accidental. God doesn't save anyone just to sit, He saves with purpose. Every life He changes, He intends to use. When He saves us, He doesn't leave us the same. He begins a work on the inside that changes everything on the outside. You were saved on purpose, and you're called to live on purpose!

In this powerful message, CT Townsend challenges believers with a simple but urgent truth: God never intended for you to stay where you are spiritually. Drawing from 2 Peter 3:18, this message dives into what real spiritual growth looks like, and why it’s not optional. God expects growth, develops it over time, and uses daily habits to shape who we become. If you’ve felt stuck, stagnant, or unchanged in your walk with Christ, this episode will confront and encourage you to move forward. This message calls you to examine your life and take your next step with God. Don’t stay where you are. Grow in grace. Move forward.

In this powerful message, Pastor CT taught us out of Joshua 2 that Rahab didn't just want to be saved, she wanted her family brought into the house too! That's the kind of heart that God is calling us to have as well. There's a difference between inviting...and bringing. So...who's your one?

In Part 3 of the Foundations Series, Pastor CT challenged us to examine our hearts, not just what we say with our lips, but how we live our lives! Following Christ is more than a title...it's a life surrendered to Him. We are reminded through God's Word what it truly means to follow Jesus!
