What are the odds that we aren't depressed or hungry? We just have parasites.
Kim Rogers
Huge 95% of us. And they can control your mind. You can have them and not even know it.
Alex Clark
What is this stuff that I hear about putting tape on your butthole?
Kim Rogers
Oh my God.
Alex Clark
Does this work?
Kim Rogers
Gosh, tape's gonna be going vi.

Please welcome Kim Rogers, parasite expert and worm queen to Culture Apothecary. What are the odds that we aren't depressed or hungry, we just have parasites.
Kim Rogers
Huge, huge odds. Because we really do have parasites. At least 95% of us have parasites. And they can control your mind, make you unfeel, unworthy and unhappy.
Alex Clark
And they control your mind because what are they wiggling up there and eating your brain or what happens?
Kim Rogers
Well, they can hijack our nervous system and they can hijack our lymphatic system, which we need in order for us to feel good about ourselves. They can also hijack our small intestines, which is where that feeling of worthiness comes from, so they can get into our bodies and really do some damage.
Alex Clark
Okay, that's interesting. I didn't know that about the small intestines and worthiness because anytime that I get acupuncture, that area flares up for me.
Kim Rogers
Yes, you can have them and not even know it. They can live in you for decades and you wouldn't even know it until maybe you had a life altering event or something happened. To you where your stress level went high and then they're activated.
Alex Clark
Everybody calls you the worm queen. Funny, because they call me that too, but for a different reason. Because you're this parasite expert. How did you become such an expert in parasites? Like, what happened to you?
Kim Rogers
Well, I got really ill with parasites, but I do come from western medicine. I have two healthcare degrees and I ran 25 healthcare colleges. I worked in the emergency room, urgent care, and I just never really thought this was a thing either in Life. Then in 2019, I got really ill and I couldn't figure out what was wrong with me. The doctors couldn't figure out, and I had had 13 surgeries and a hysterectomy, and they still said there wasn't much left for me and that I needed to just kind of accept my life the way it was. So in 2019, my husband and I went out to our recreational property to build a log home ourselves. And I started to do mushrooms and meditate and just really try and focus on my health, figure out why I was so ill. And around a year and a half in is when I figured out that I actually had cryptosporidium parvium and roundworm, plus flukes because I ate a lot of sushi. So that was, you know, Now I know that sushi and salmon are a huge reason, but our water was also contaminated with nematodes and I didn't know it.
Alex Clark
Like your tap water?
Kim Rogers
Yes.
Alex Clark
Okay, so then you started doing parasite cleanses.
Kim Rogers
Right. In July of 2021, I did a random, you can get it on Amazon parasite cleanse. And that's when I saw roundworm and flukes in the toilet. And I did a video on TikTok and went really viral.
Alex Clark
Okay, and so when those came out of you, how quickly did you start noticing symptoms alleviate?
Kim Rogers
Three days.
Alex Clark
In three days. And you've been dealing with this for how long?
Kim Rogers
20 years.
Alex Clark
You're joking.
Kim Rogers
No.
Alex Clark
Why do you think so many people harbor parasites?
Kim Rogers
I think that because we don't cleanse in this country. We don't cleanse in western medicine countries, and that's really important for us to actually go in and get rid of them. And it might not get rid of them completely, but it will put them at bay for a while, and then you do it again, and then the symptoms alleviate and then you do it again. Other countries do this, we just don't. Mexico does it a few times a year, and sometimes it's mandatory in sports. They actually will take a synthetic pill that they can get at the Pharmacy for like, seven bucks. Jamaica does it with an herb called the bush, and Korea does it. Guatemala does it. Like, they just know that this is an issue in life, and so they just arm their people with the information. We just don't.
Alex Clark
How are parasites entering our bodies?
Kim Rogers
You can enter through water, which you absorb up to two cups of water every 15 minutes. And everything in the water, you can absorb them by brushing your teeth, salmon sushi, undercooked pork. RFK Jr. Had a tapeworm in his brain.
Alex Clark
That's right. He's the worm king.
Kim Rogers
Yeah, he's the worm king.
Alex Clark
I forgot about that.
Kim Rogers
Ooh.
Alex Clark
So, yeah. So what is the deal with that? What is it that he had?
Kim Rogers
Neurocystor sarcoma, which is a tapeworm of the brain from undercooked pork. The body of it is still in his brain, but the symptoms are surpassed. But it did eat some of his brain, he said.
Alex Clark
That's so freaky. Many people experience symptoms like bloating, fatigue, skin issues. How can those be linked to parasites? And why are they usually overlooked?
Kim Rogers
They're overlooked because this is a taboo subject. It's denied. And it's crazy that it's so denied. And it can cause those things. Cause your body is telling you something is going on. So if you're drinking water and you become bloated, it's literally in there, like, bloating you out. It just doesn't even know what else to do to process what's going on in your body, to push it out.
Alex Clark
So common symptoms in adults, you might have a parasite if you have these issues.
Kim Rogers
Grinding your teeth at night, drooling at night, craving salt and Sugar, especially after 7pm because they're nocturnal, so around 7 is when they wake up. So insomnia and usually feeling unworthy of yourself. A lot of anxiety, a lot of mental health issues could be from a parasite.
Alex Clark
I do crave salt a lot. So what could that be telling me?
Kim Rogers
I crave salt more than sugar.
Alex Clark
Me too. I never crave sugar.
Kim Rogers
And I would say I've been doing this for four years, and it probably was the last three years I just figured out that. Or the last three months that I figured out that it was a salt craving. Because I'm like, man, I don't crave any sugar, but I crave salt like no one's business. And it's my parasite that wants it.
Alex Clark
How can parasites influence mood disorders or cognitive function?
Kim Rogers
Well, they hijack our nervous system. Okay, so they get in there and they're causing you to have a different Frequency in a different vibration. So they have their own. They're alive and they're in our bodies. And parasites are controlling and mold is brainwashing because they're alive in our bodies. So they can go in and they can hold on to trauma, they can hold on to memories. And when you start to go in and eat something like an anti parasitic food, right. Like pineapple or pumpkin seed, they're dumping all of what's in their body in you as well as that memory or the trauma feel.
Alex Clark
I didn't know there was such a thing as anti parasitic foods.
Kim Rogers
Yes. Anti parasitic foods are things like papaya, pumpkin seed, pineapple. They go in and disrupt them. And then while they're being like kind of unalived, they're dumping everything while they're being unalived and they're laying eggs.
Alex Clark
Okay, so are you never eating sushi again?
Kim Rogers
No, no, I'm never eating sushi again. And it's so unfortunate because we used to eat it two to three times a week and we would eat salmon. I can meet, I can make a mean salmon barbecue, like, but I can't do it after seeing everything that I post.
Alex Clark
You talked about how they can live in your lymphatic system.
Kim Rogers
Yes.
Alex Clark
So if you're somebody who struggles with not sweating often, is that like a sign that stuff is going on? Like, are you not flushing things out? Could that be why parasites are trapped you if you're not properly sweating or like doing sauna or working out?
Kim Rogers
Correct. I say to do the three Ps, make sure you're peeing, pooping and perspiring. And things like castor oil can help with that because it kind of breaks down whatever toxins are causing you to not be able to sweat or go poop or pee consistently. So there's a quite a few things other than just the parafi parasite cleanse. We actually are launching a lymph kit this Thursday, May 15 that helps you move your lymphatic system so that you have a better cleanse. That is one thing that a lot of people will stop doing a parasite cleanse because their lymphatic system is not moving. And it's so important to make sure you're doing those three P's.
Alex Clark
Did you know that McDonald's fries used to be cooked in beef tallow? Just potatoes, beef fat and salt. That's it. And they were iconic. But in 1990, they sold out to the seed oil lobby. And that's when things got weird with fries. Suddenly we've got 19 ingredients in a single French fry. 19. You're not eating food, you're eating a science experiment. But what if you want to taste what fries used to be like, Crispy, golden, cooked the way nature intended. Then you need to try Jesse and Ben's. These guys are real restaurant pros who said no thanks to seed oils and brought back real deal fries. Their tallow and sea salt fries have just three ingredients. Non GMO, russet potatoes, 100 grass fed beef tallow and sea salt. That's it. And they taste phenomenal. These are frozen fries like you've never had them before. They're so good you're not even going to worry about the rest of the stuff on your plate. You're just going to want to keep eating those. They even have avocado oil fries if that's more your vibe. And now they've got a sweet potato fry cooked in beef tallow that's just launched. You're welcome. Even better, they're now available nationwide at sprout stores and select whole foods locations. So next time you're in the frozen aisle, skip the seed oil sludge and grab Jesse and Ben's. If you need to find out if it's in a grocery store near you, go to Jesse and Benz.com see where they're located. That's Jesse and Bens.com this is what fries were always meant to be. Mom, I threw up. That was my dog Mochi to me this morning as I'm literally walking out the door. Nothing little Branch Basics can't fix. Kim Rogers
Behavioral changes is a big one. Usually I see a lot of children that have black circles under their eyes. That's a big one. Skin issues? Huge.
Alex Clark
Like eczema.
Kim Rogers
Yes.
Alex Clark
Eczema could be a parasite.
Kim Rogers
Yes. Because it comes from the gut. Your gut is your brain. It also dictates your health. Okay, so a lot of people that can get in there and get a lot of things cleaned out. Pari is not just parasites. It's Candida and heavy metals. So heavy metals weight things down. They weight the toxins down. These environmental toxins that we all are absorbing and that are, I personally think, are making us have autoimmune diseases because we're exposed to them so often that they just kind of linger in our bodies. So you really need to go in and find a way, which is what I did with the parafi kit, to flush all of those out.
Alex Clark
What is this stuff that I hear about putting tape on your butthole?
Kim Rogers
Oh, my God.
Alex Clark
Does this work? Should we be doing that?
Kim Rogers
No. Scotch tape's gonna be going viral. Yes.
Alex Clark
That works.
Kim Rogers
Yes. At nighttime, the female pinworm comes out and lays the eggs and then goes back in. And so what happens is that piece of tape ends up catching the eggs. So when you take it off of your bum at night or your child in the morning, there should be little white things. And if there's little white things, then they have pinworms. Pinworms are the same thing as thread worms. And thread worms can get into our bodies, including our heart and our lungs. We causing us to be short of breath, having chest pains, not really feeling like yourself. And those also reside in, like, the appendix and in the small intestine.
Alex Clark
You tell people that we need to be regularly parasite cleansing.
Kim Rogers
Correct.
Alex Clark
How often is regularly?
Kim Rogers
Three to four times a Year. So seasonally, every three months.
Alex Clark
Do you need to know for a fact that you have parasites before you do a parasite cleanse?
Kim Rogers
No. You probably have parasites if you walk barefoot, if you have a pet, because the pets are the number one way, in my opinion, of how you get a parasite. And so we deworm our animals. Why aren't we deworming ourselves?
Alex Clark
Okay, but here's my question. Because I did a gut microbiome test. It said I did not have any.
Kim Rogers
Parasites at that time.
Alex Clark
So you're saying because I did that a year ago, I might have them now. But you don't recommend go get a gut microbiome test first, because what happens if you don't have any and you do a parasite cleanse? Like, does that destroy good bacteria in your body?
Kim Rogers
Not with pairfi.
Alex Clark
Okay.
Kim Rogers
Other kits or other companies? Yes. That's why I developed the way I developed the kit.
Alex Clark
Okay?
Kim Rogers
Specifically because Jeremy and I just wreaked havoc on our bodies. We didn't bind. We didn't know heavy metals were being dumped. We didn't know viruses were being dumped into our body because they hold onto those, and they are evaders. They're going to go in and they're going to do everything they can to not be detected. So you may have one test that says negative, and a week later you could have done something to disrupt them. And that test came back positive then, but you wouldn't know it because we're not testing consecutively. We don't have good testing in our country. For some crazy reason, we do not have good testing. And that is something that I am looking at, you know, trying to change. Why don't we have available, affordable and accurate testing for parasites? Parasites, mold, any of these environmental toxins that we're constantly fighting off because we're humans and we are the best hosts. So why don't we have good testing? Right? Like, if you're even thinking you might have that, you should be able to go in a few times a year and get tested and be able to feel like that was a good test. My tests that I had done to find out I had Cryptosporidium parvium, which is parvo, which kills puppies. I had that from our water in the Hoodsport Washington area. And my stool, I did LabCorp, and then I scooped the same stool, and I did it with an independent company called parasites.org. the stool went to LabCorp, tested negative. My stool went to Arizona and then Mexico, and I tested positive. And I found out that Jeremy and I had Roundworm and I had crypto and he had defrageilis.
Alex Clark
Why did the Labcorp test say negative?
Kim Rogers
I have no idea. That's scary.
Alex Clark
Scary. It is, because a lot of people use that. I mean, I've used them before for sure. What is the difference between a colonic and a parasite cleanse?
Kim Rogers
Colonic is where they put a tube up your rear and they're like pressure washes.
Alex Clark
But that doesn't work the same.
Kim Rogers
No, it does. It does, but it's not a main cleanse.
Alex Clark
Is, are parasites coming out in a colonic?
Kim Rogers
They can. Yes.
Alex Clark
Okay. Is that those long, like tapey things that you see, like in the tick tocks?
Kim Rogers
Yes.
Alex Clark
Okay.
Kim Rogers
Yeah.
Alex Clark
Okay, interesting.
Kim Rogers
But see, it's not going into your cells, it's not going into your, your blood. And parasites are in our blood, our tissue and our muscle. And they can go deep down and stay for an extended period of time. They have a biofilm that covers them. And with that biofilm, it really is an enter unless it breaks. So when you're doing a parasite cleanse, you have to go in and break that biofilm to expose them. Once they're exposed, they come out of where they're at and then you come in with other herbs and, and you un alive them. That's really the way a parasite cleanse should be. And then while that's happening, you bind them. And that was what I did not know when I first did these cleanses is you have to do these stages. And that's why I have dedicated my life to doing herbal cleansing and showing people and actually created a business over this. But a colonic is just a really great way to help with any die offs to get that pathway open. It goes up into the liver and it supports the liver. You should never do any cleansing without support. And that includes herbs. Like we put dandelion root to support the liver. Doing colonics before, during, after a purify cleanse is amazing because you're supporting your body. Your body's going through a detox, it's going through something new. It's never done this before. So the more you can support it, the better it's going to be. So coffee, enemas, red light, doing things like I do, hyperbaric chamber, oxygen therapy, sauna, getting out and moving, vibration play, all of these things are just going to add you with a better cleanse.
Alex Clark
What do you think about castor oil packs?
Kim Rogers
Oh, I love castor oil, but I definitely think that castor oil with red light, sitting there and then putting the pack on is the best because why? Well, red light pushes the castor oil even deeper into your body. So the castor oil with the red light. The red light is the driver. You really need to have herbs or modalities that drive deeper. So when you put the casserole on, it goes just a little bit and then you put that red light and it pushes it up to 10 times deeper.
Alex Clark
What is happening in a parasite cleanse? Like, how do you do it? Like, is it pills, is it a drink?
Kim Rogers
Parafi is three tinctures and a binder. So you take all three tinctures at once. You can put them in water. I like taking them directly because it tastes good to me and it's earthy and I like to feel the heel.
Alex Clark
Okay. That's an interesting way to put it because I usually think these tinctures taste like ass.
Kim Rogers
Oh, it probably does to most people.
Alex Clark
You're just unique.
Kim Rogers
Yeah.
Alex Clark
Okay. So how often, like, how long does the parasite cleanse go on for? Like, how often do you have to drink this stuff?
Kim Rogers
So it's three times a day and it's for 30 days. I chose 30 days because I think beyond 30 days from just working in western medicine and seeing how society we've been somewhat indoctrinated that the longer it takes, the, you know, the harder it is. So I really wanted to make it super easy. They go in, you take it for 30 days, three times a day. You bind at night.
Alex Clark
What does that mean, bind at night?
Kim Rogers
So a binder is. Ours is called cinnabin and it's coconut activated charcoal and Ceylon cinnamon. Charcoal is a negative herb and toxins are a positive. So it's a magnet. So it'll magnet what is coming out of your body and help you pull it out so it's not reabsorbing back into your blood, your tissue and your muscle.
Alex Clark
Okay, interesting. That's. That sounds like a really important step that a lot of people probably do forget.
Kim Rogers
They always forget it. And it can bind you up at night or during the day, or it can make you not go to the bathroom. So then there's alternatives. Like I do like Cellcore. They have a really good for fulvic biotoxin binder. You can take any time. If I can't take cinnabin because it binds me up sometimes charcoal does that to people.
Alex Clark
Now you talked about every three to four months for adults to do a cleanse. Is it the same timeline for kids or is that too often?
Kim Rogers
Nope, you can do it three to four times a year or if you have symptoms or if you're traveling. So we're traveling this last few weeks, it's been crazy. I haven't always eaten the best. So I'll actually take it as a dietary supplement. I'll take it prior to eating. Questionably.
Alex Clark
The binder, all of it. Okay.
Kim Rogers
I'll do my whole kit right before I eat. Questionably.
Alex Clark
A lot of times parents notice things like their kid having an itchy bottom. Can that be a sign of a parasite?
Kim Rogers
That is a sign of a parasite.
Alex Clark
So it's not just that they're not wiping well?
Kim Rogers
Correct.
Alex Clark
Because I think that's what a lot of people think, right?
Kim Rogers
They think, oh, I didn't wipe well. But even if you are wiping well, it's still such an easy way. It's such a thick. It's so easy to catch these things, especially if you have pets. Your child is outside digging in dirt, putting their hands in their mouth. And that's how a pinworm infestation starts, is they're in the dirt, they put their hands in their mouth, and then it literally starts to form the eggs down, down the throat. And then it comes out and it fertilizes in the bomb and then it comes back up, they itch their butt and then they start the cycle all over again.
Alex Clark
How can you tell the difference though, between like normal childhood behavior and a parasitic infection?
Kim Rogers
It's just difficult to do that for sure to tell the difference. It is.
Alex Clark
So it really relies on the parent knowing your kid knowing this is not normal for them. This isn't a normal tantrum, but it's.
Kim Rogers
Not gonna hurt you to parasite cleanse your child and to get this in the habit of doing this with them.
Alex Clark

What age is it okay to start doing parasitic cleanses with your child?
Kim Rogers
Age three and up.
Alex Clark
Three and up. Okay.
Kim Rogers
We're one of the only kits that you can take as a child.
Alex Clark
How do you get a child to drink that stuff?
Kim Rogers
You just put it in juice or water. You can put it in water and have them shoot it. A lot of children take this because we are one of the few that it's acceptable for children. And it's a tincture, right? So you can do five drops, you could do 10 drops, you could do it once a day. It really is what's going to fit your lifestyle best for your child. And then if they can't take a pill, you can open up our binder because they're just capsules and it tastes like cinnamon. I use cinnamon as one of the parts of the binder.
Alex Clark
There you go.
Kim Rogers
So you stick it in applesauce, mix it around, they take it and they have no idea that they're literally binding toxins and helping them get them out.
Alex Clark
This sounds made up, but the moon is doing things to the worms and the parasites in our body. What is going on within us when there is a full moon.
Kim Rogers
So your serotonin is running higher with a full moon and they eat serotonin and that's your happy hormone. It also helps regulate you from feeling out of control and crazy. So they start to dislodge themselves. Three days prior to the full moon, they move around your body in order to create new communities of their own. Dropping eggs. But they're Also on the serotonin river. So they're just literally able to kind of just flow wherever they want.
Alex Clark
They've got a lazy river in there.
Kim Rogers
Oh, my gosh, they totally do. They're all chilling on a raft.
Alex Clark
So gross. So during a full moon, if you're like, I just don't know. I just don't know if I want to commit to a parasite cleanse. But during a full moon, what are the things you be watching out for? Like, okay, this is your body telling you you do have parasites.
Kim Rogers
Are you in a flare? And do you feel crazy and are things out of control?
Alex Clark
What does that mean, feel crazy?
Kim Rogers
Like, do you just don't feel yourself? Because they literally can hijack your mind. Do you know about toxoplasmosis?
Alex Clark
No.
Kim Rogers
It's the cat parasite. You know, when you're pregnant, they say, don't scoop cat poop. So you think, oh, okay, I'm not going to scoop cat poop while I'm pregnant. But anybody can get toxoplasmosis. In fact, they say that 60 million Americans have toxoplasmosis. At one point, for sure, 50% of France had it. So basically, it's where a mouse is infected with toxo and it's sexually attracted to a cat's urine and it heads over to the cat. Right. Because they're not supposed to like each other.
Alex Clark
Mice Strange. Only fans.
Kim Rogers
So once the cat cuddles up with the mouse, then the mouse gets eaten by the cat. Because the next stage of toxoplasmosis gondii is in the cat's gut. But what toxo did to the mind of that mouse was control it.
Alex Clark
Okay.
Kim Rogers
So the cat eats it and then goes poop, and then you scoop it, and it's airborne, so. And it's also microscopic, so then you can get it. They say 60 million Americans have stops the inhibition of fear and you wanting to have, like, sexual partners. So they did some testing on people that were on crotch rockets that died, and 100% of them had toxoplasmosis.
Alex Clark
You're talking about the motorcycle.
Kim Rogers
Yes.
Alex Clark
I don't understand that.
Kim Rogers
It just doesn't make you have any fear. They actually go down to Mexico and get toxo fighters do. In order to not be afraid to, you know, fight.
Alex Clark
Holy smokes. Is this stuff about full moons and parasites actually backed by science?
Kim Rogers
Yeah, because our bodies create more serotonin during the full moon and they eat serotonin.
Alex Clark
Are there misconceptions about parasite cleansing that you think People need to know.
Kim Rogers
Yeah, I think they need to know that it's not gonna hurt you, that this is a gentle, effective way to help remove things like Candida. We all have Candida. It's just an overgrowth of yeast, and it controls you to think you need more sugar so that it can keep surviving. So those type of things that we have, heavy metals, Candida, parasites, worms. They are different. Parasites and worms are two different things. But all of these things need to have. And then flushed out at some point. Right. We can't just keep accumulating them and continue to have autoimmune diseases, which not all root causes are parasites, but a lot of root causes are parasites, heavy metal, and Candida.
Alex Clark
So you feel like you were told to get a hysterectomy and all of these extreme health procedures, when now looking back, you're like, I think I could have just done a parasite cleanse.
Kim Rogers
I think it's more than just, I could have done a parasite cleanse. I know now that I have chronic Lyme, I have mold in my body, and I had parasites. But I have been able to get a hold of that by doing cleansing and other modalities. And if I would have been given that information, especially at the time, at age 29, I was very much into my health. I was a snowboarder. I roller derbied. I would have stepped up and said, okay, what do I need to do? If I would have been given this information, I would have not been where I'm at right now. Thirteen surgeries later with a hysterectomy and being told, this is how you have to live the rest of your life.
Alex Clark
Are there any ways that we need to be supporting the body during or after a parasite cleanse?
Kim Rogers
Yes. You want to make sure that you do your best to eat as clean as possible while you're cleansing and doing supportive herbs like dandelion root and omegas to really make sure that you're getting everything flowing in your body. You want to make sure you're moving your body. So vibration plate, Basically everything that I talk about on all of my accounts, I literally do those at least two to three times a week and rotate things. So supporting your body is gonna be the best when it comes to going through a detox. Cause that's what we're doing. We're detoxing something that we think is normal, and this isn't normal for us. We're in an epidemic of chronically ill people, and I'm one of them. And I just got tired of It. I just didn't want to do this anymore.
Alex Clark
What's one of the most shocking things that you've learned somebody has experienced during a parasite cleanse? Like, what did they discover?
Kim Rogers
Rope worm. A rope worm is like this unidentified parasite that stays up in your colon like a mucoid plaque and it will come out and it can regenerate itself. I know, man.
Alex Clark
Like, does it have a mouth and fangs and stuff?
Kim Rogers
No, that's a hookworm.
Alex Clark
Okay.
Kim Rogers
A hookworm has mouth and fangs.
Alex Clark
So if it can regenerate, how does a parasite cleanse actually alleviate the problem?
Kim Rogers
It goes in and it detaches itself from inside of your intestines. It'll literally detach itself and it can be so many feet long. I mean, the things that I've seen since doing this for the last four years, I. I don't know if I'm ever going to be normal again.
Alex Clark
Okay, let's talk about red light therapy because this is one of the most underrated things in the wellness world right now. I've been using my Joov red light therapy device consistently and the benefits have stacked up fast. Reduced inflammation, less muscle soreness, and maybe most importantly, way better sleep and better skin. No more scrolling. At midnight, wondering why I can't fall asleep. A 10 minute Juve session before bed helps my body calm down, recover and actually rest. Their devices use clinically proven red and near infrared wavelengths with a safe and effective dosage of light. Their true medical grade panels, not some off brand LED lamp and everything is independently tested for safety and quality. Juve makes it simple to support your health at the root. Your cells head to juve.com j o v.com Alex if you go to the website exactly how I'm saying it, my discount code will automatically pop up in your checkout for you. But you have to go to juve.com alex j-o v.com/alex. A better body starts with better light. All right girls. It's hotter than Satan's armpit outside already. At least for me here in Phoenix. And if your deodorant isn't holding up, neither is your dignity. I don't care how clean your little tick tock hall says it is. If you smell like regret by noon, it's time for an upgrade. Enter zebra. The deodorant that actually works and doesn't come with a side of hormone disruption. It goes on clear so no chalky white crime scene under your arms. It's paraben free, aluminum free, fragrance free, but still smells amazing. And it comes in two formulas with and without baking soda. Because Zebra understands that some of us want to glow and not burn. And can we talk about the flaws for a second? You're out here trying to be crunchy granola girl, Boobo Babo, but flossing with polyester. Zebra's floss is made with real silk, peppermint oil and xylitol and it's been tested for pfas. Bonus, their toothpaste tablets are hydroxyapatite and fluoride free on purpose. Just chew, brush, rinse, no mess, no weird powders. Kids love them. Just clean, cute, crunchy girl energy that actually works. Use code Alex for 10 off@yayzebra.com that's yayzebra.com code Alex for somebody new to the topic of parasite cleansing, what will be your top piece of advice before they begin? Because I am scared and I've never done this.
Kim Rogers
Well, don't freak out. This is normal. It's just not normal for us. We've just been seriously indoctrinated to think that western medicine countries cannot have a parasite. It's wild to me, even coming from medicine. I wrote books and I avoided this topic as well because it's just such a weird topic. So don't be afraid. The kit that I designed is so gentle and so easy and we hold your hand the whole time. I have a team of 11 people on the social media side that answer emails, DMS and comments with me and you just don't need to be afraid.
Alex Clark
And what's the kit called?
Kim Rogers
It's called Parafi.
Alex Clark
How can people maintain a parasite free lifestyle after a cleanse?
Kim Rogers
They just have to keep cleansing. Okay, yeah, they just keep going.
Alex Clark
But some people are going to say, Kim, they're going to say. Well of course she's going to say that because she's selling a kit.
Kim Rogers
Right.
Alex Clark
So what would you say?
Kim Rogers
Well, you can rotate other products too. Not just purify. Just made a really great third party tested organic natural cleanse. You can eat anti parasitic foods. You can avoid things like salmon and sushi and make sure your food is cooked and you're not eating raw produce. It is a huge way when you're traveling too outside of the country especially to catch a parasite is with raw produce or if you're not soaking your own produce, which is a huge thing I talk about all the time, how to soak your produce. And Thorasage has a really great ozone machine. So making sure that you're just following all of the steps. But it's unavoidable we're human and we're the best host. We're sedentary. We eat like garbage a lot. Our food is not great. It's weighing us down even more. So to be proactive instead of reactive. We're all reactive people, and we want to be proactive. You want to stay healthy. You want to make sure that if you do have a stressful situation that it's not going to turn into a parasitic infection because you've disrupted them. So cleansing is your best bet to make sure that you stay somewhat parasite free. It's inevitable because we're human.
Alex Clark
If you could offer one remedy to helicit culture physically, emotionally, or spiritually, what would it be?
Kim Rogers
Well, I mean, cleansing your body in order for everything to absorb, in order for you to understand what's going on. You know, they can absorb 90% of our nutrients, leaving us with 10%. They hijack us. And it's really just important to have an understanding of your human body. And I feel like that's something that we didn't really get taught in high school or I went to healthcare colleges, so, you know, I understand the human body, but why don't we understand the human body?
Alex Clark
Why do you think that is that medical professionals, Western medicine does not suggest.
Kim Rogers
People do parasite cleanses because they don't know. Honestly, a lot of people say to me, oh, it's about money. But honestly, they just don't know. And it was so easy to change parts of our medical books. We've only been in western medicine for 100 years. We did this before.
Alex Clark
Yeah.
Kim Rogers
You know, this isn't something new to humans. This is just new to western medicine countries.
Alex Clark
Okay, that's important that you just said that.
Kim Rogers
I think I feel like understanding that western medicine is denying this.
Alex Clark
Okay.
Kim Rogers
Is kind of nuts to me. It's really a crazy concept. And it isn't just about the doctors not understanding it. It's they don't have the knowledge. They have bigger egos. They can't go out of their scope of practice. This is out of their scope of practice. I've spent four years every day doing this.
Alex Clark
They're really imprisoned, these regular general practitioners. And that's why when you get into, you know, naturopaths or functional medicine, they have more freedom to, like, figure out that root cause and go down different avenues and work with other providers. Let's work with your nutritionist. Let's work with your parasite worm lady, you know, or worm queen. I forgot she said, I don't like worm lady. I like Worm queen. So, yeah, I feel like they have more opportunity to kind of do that stuff. And then these regular western medicine professionals, they just like, oh, I can't do that. It breaks the rules.
Kim Rogers
Yep. And I know what that feels like to break the rules. I mean, I've lost jobs because I broke the rules. You know, you're caring for another human being and if they don't know what they don't know. And it is really easy. Honestly, I was a subject matter expert and I was an author and it was very easy for me to go in and change just a little bit of a book. And I was a gold standard. I was the end. So if I said that that needed to be changed, it would get changed. And then that ripple effect for the future was changed. And that's what happened here. That's what happened here. Because other countries know. This is a thing they know. Like in Mexico, you wouldn't drink their water. I don't. I won't drink our water. I won't drink. Oh, no, I won't drink our water.
Alex Clark
Yeah. So you are avoiding tap water like the plague.
Kim Rogers
Oh, avoiding tap water like the plague. I've tested the water in Seattle. It's tested positive for nematodes. I've tested the water in Hoodsport. It tested positive for nematodes, which are physical worms. There was round worm larvae in our water in both of the cities I've lived in. And I won't shower in it. I won't brush my teeth with it.
Alex Clark
So are you doing a whole house water system filter system?
Kim Rogers
I have a whole house water filter system at our log home. And because we have an apartment downtown Seattle, all of the water has a three filter system underneath the sink.
Alex Clark
In an apartment?
Kim Rogers
Yep.
Alex Clark
What's that called?
Kim Rogers
It's called a water drop. And it's like 200 bucks.
Alex Clark
I need to get that.
Kim Rogers
Oh, it's amazing because I just have.
Alex Clark
Like a shower head filter and a bath filter, but that's it.
Kim Rogers
And if your filter isn't 5 micron or smaller, it's not filtering out, which potentially could be nematodes.
Alex Clark
Okay, that's good to know. Because can they enter the body even just being on the skin?
Kim Rogers
Yes.
Alex Clark
Okay.
Kim Rogers
Because you can absorb up to two cups of water and everything in that water every 15 minutes. That's a shower, that's a bath.
Alex Clark
I do long baths. Okay.
Kim Rogers
So you want to make sure that you're not just doing an add back, which is minerals, but you're also doing. It's like a cloth filter. Right. And That's a five micron.
Alex Clark
If people want to do your cleanse, you're giving my audience a discount. Code, code Alex Clark. Where do they go?

Culture Apothecary with Alex Clark: Parasites – How To Detox, The Symptoms, And The Signs | Featuring Kim Rogers
Release Date: May 23, 2025
Guest: Kim Rogers (The Worm Queen)
Host: Alex Clark
In this enlightening episode of Culture Apothecary with Alex Clark, host Alex Clark welcomes Kim Rogers, famously known on social media as The Worm Queen, to delve deep into the often-overlooked world of parasitic infections. Kim, with her extensive background in Western medicine and personal health battles, brings a unique holistic perspective to the conversation.
Alex Clark opens the discussion with a provocative statement:
[00:00] "What are the odds that we aren't depressed or hungry? We just have parasites."
Kim Rogers reinforces this alarming possibility:
[02:00] "At least 95% of us have parasites. And they can control your mind."
Kim emphasizes the ubiquity of parasites and their profound impact on both mental and physical health. She explains that parasites can "hijack our nervous system and our lymphatic system", disrupting essential bodily functions that contribute to our sense of self-worth and emotional well-being. These invaders can lurk unnoticed for years, only activating during significant stress or life-altering events.
Kim Rogers elaborates:
[02:17] "They can hijack our small intestines, which is where that feeling of worthiness comes from, so they can get into our bodies and really do some damage."
The conversation shifts to how parasites infiltrate our bodies. Kim Rogers identifies several entry points, including:
Contaminated Water:
[05:44] "You can enter through water, which you absorb up to two cups every 15 minutes."
Undercooked Foods:
Presence in sushi and raw pork is a significant concern.
[05:46] "They can enter through water, which you absorb up to two cups of water every 15 minutes. And everything in the water, you can absorb them by brushing your teeth, salmon sushi, undercooked pork."
Environmental Exposure:
Pets are highlighted as primary vectors for parasite transmission.
[15:14] "If you have a pet, because the pets are the number one way, in my opinion, of how you get a parasite."
Alex Clark references a high-profile case to underscore the severity:
[06:16] "RFK Jr. had a tapeworm in his brain."
Identifying parasitic infections early can be challenging due to the non-specific nature of symptoms. Kim Rogers outlines various signs to watch for in both adults and children:
In Adults:
Bloating and Fatigue:
[06:28] "Many people experience symptoms like bloating, fatigue, skin issues."
Mental Health Issues:
Including anxiety and feelings of unworthiness.
[07:08] "A lot of anxiety, a lot of mental health issues could be from a parasite."
Nocturnal Behaviors:
Symptoms like teeth grinding and cravings for salt and sugar in the evening.
[07:03] "Grinding your teeth at night, drooling at night, craving salt and Sugar, especially after 7pm because they're nocturnal."
In Children:
Behavioral Changes and Physical Signs:
[13:25] "Behavioral changes is a big one. Usually I see a lot of children that have black circles under their eyes."
Skin Issues:
Such as eczema.
[13:36] "Eczema could be a parasite."
Kim Rogers introduces her solution, the Parafi Parasite Cleanse Kit, designed to systematically eliminate parasitic infections. She details the components and regimen required for an effective cleanse:
Components of the Parafi Kit:
[20:35] "Parafi is three tinctures and a binder."
Cleanse Duration and Frequency:
[21:02] "It's for 30 days, three times a day."
Binding Toxins:
Essential for preventing reabsorption of toxins released during the cleanse.
[21:24] "Cinnabin is coconut activated charcoal and Ceylon cinnamon. Charcoal is a negative herb and toxins are a positive. So it's a magnet."
Kim emphasizes the importance of a holistic approach, integrating diet, supportive herbs like dandelion root, and modalities such as red light therapy and saunas to bolster the body during and after the cleanse.
The episode addresses the taboo surrounding parasite infections in Western medicine. Kim Rogers expresses frustration with the medical community's ignorance and denial of parasitic issues:
[38:05] "People do parasite cleanses because they don't know. Honestly, a lot of people say to me, oh, it's about money. But honestly, they just don't know."
She advocates for broader awareness and acceptance of parasite cleansing as a legitimate health practice, highlighting its historical presence outside of recent Western medical paradigms.
Preventing parasitic infections requires proactive lifestyle changes:
Water Filtration:
Kim underscores the necessity of high-quality water filters to eliminate microscopic parasites.
[40:43] "If your filter isn't 5 micron or smaller, it's not filtering out, which potentially could be nematodes."
Hygiene Practices:
Especially crucial for children and pet owners to break the cycle of reinfection.
Dietary Vigilance:
Avoiding undercooked foods and ensuring proper preparation of produce to reduce exposure risks.
The discussion ventures into more complex parasitic concerns:
Rope Worms:
[32:04] "A rope worm is like this unidentified parasite that stays up in your colon like a mucoid plaque and it will come out and it can regenerate itself."
Kim explains how these parasites detach from the intestines and regenerate, emphasizing the need for effective cleansing protocols to prevent reinfestation.
Toxoplasmosis:
[27:18] "It's the cat parasite... 60 million Americans have toxoplasmosis."
The parasite’s ability to manipulate host behavior, such as reducing fear in infected individuals, is highlighted as a significant concern.
An intriguing segment explores the correlation between lunar cycles and parasitic activity:
Serotonin Manipulation:
During a full moon, serotonin levels in the body peak, which parasites exploit to enhance their control.
[26:32] "Your serotonin is running higher with a full moon and they eat serotonin and that's your happy hormone."
Parasitic Behavior:
Parasites become more active, moving to establish new colonies and laying eggs, intensifying their impact on the host.
[26:32] "They're just literally able to kind of just flow wherever they want."
For those new to parasite cleansing, Kim Rogers offers reassuring advice:
[35:11] "Don't freak out. This is normal. It's just not normal for us."
She highlights the gentle nature of her cleanse kit and the support system provided to users, ensuring a smooth and effective detox journey.
To maintain a parasite-free state post-cleanse, regular cleansing cycles—three to four times a year—are recommended, coupled with ongoing preventive measures like dietary vigilance and environmental hygiene.
Kim concludes by stressing the necessity of understanding and maintaining bodily health to combat the pervasive threat of parasites. Her holistic approach not only addresses the immediate issue of parasitic infections but also promotes overall wellness and resilience against future health challenges.
