Production the Baddest Radio Season 2, episode 39, take one.
B
Hello.
C
Hi, everybody. Oh, my God. Who's gonna do the intro?
B
They don't recognize my voice. Or maybe they're like, oh, my God. Hey, everyone.
C
I know. So, hi, everyone. This is Ms. K. Currently Brett is on a trip, so we're filming for him. So we have our little guest today, Ms. Kat.
B
Hi, Ms. Kat. Hello.
C
And then is this when Brett goes roll? The intro says cute intro.
B
That's cute.
C
Bratman to Earth. Earth to Bratman. Girl, you already know who it is.
B
Okay.
C
Hi, everyone. Okay, so you want to introduce yourself just in case, like, people don't know you yet.
B
Okay, y'. All. I'm Kat Bretman's assistant.
C
For how long? Now we're coming on.
B
Four years.
C
Four years.
B
Four years in June. Four consecutive years. Right.
C
How does that feel?
B
Amazing.
C
Yeah.
B
By far my favorite job I've ever had.
C
Yeah.
B
This is my career, you know, God willing.
C
Yeah, yeah.
B
But yeah, I love, I love this job. This job takes care of me, I take care of them.
C
It's great.
B
Everybody takes care of everybody. But yeah, okay.
C
I don't like to do, I don't know, say, missing somebody, like, because it's usually the one that's like, guiding.
B
Yeah.
C
Things. Especially with, like, the whole conversation and, like, segments. And he's really good at, like, he's
B
really good at transitioning.
C
Transitioning stuff.
B
Let's move on.
C
Like, and I'm like, okay. But anyways, should we just do our segment for now?
B
Yeah, let's do our segment.
C
You want to go first or should I go first?
B
I can go first.
C
Okay.
B
So, Ms. K, I made your favorite. It's a cute little mini cheesecake. And I have some for Ozzy as well.
C
Oh, we have Ozzy as well. You guys say hi, Ozzy.
B
Ozzy's here, guys.
A
Everybody.
B
Okay, so the fair one is just a regular cheesecake, and then the one with the caramel on top is an apple caramel. She's homemade.
C
This is one of the things that I love, Kat.
A
I love cheesecake.
B
Oh, period.
C
When she makes her cheesecake, you guys, it's the best thing ever,
B
period. I love it. I just love beating people.
C
How long does it usually take?
B
I don't know. Like, a couple hours. There's more steps because you have to, like, make the crust and cook the crust first and then make the filling. But it's. Once you get it down, it's pretty easy.
C
That tastes like an apple pie.
B
So I cook down the apples and made my own apple cider.
C
Like, this is real apples.
B
Yeah. And then from the apples, I make a caramel with it.
A
I feel like you can taste the difference with the real apples versus.
B
Oh, really?
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
C
This one is, like. It's fresher, no?
A
Yeah. Fresh. Yeah.
B
Ooh. It has, like, more crisp.
C
Yes.
A
Have you tried making the Japanese cheesecakes,
B
The real, like, the fluffy ones? No, only because I don't have any interest in eating one. I don't know why.
C
You like, the more dense.
B
Yeah, maybe eventually I will, but I don't know. It just doesn't entice me.
C
Yet another one, the jiggly ones. Yeah.
B
Because I think. I think you're supposed to eat them warm, right?
C
Like, off the.
A
I think so.
B
I think that's why, because I'm a very. Like, you have to eat my cheesecake cold, you know? So I think when I see them people try to eat them warm, I'm like, oh, like warm cream cheese. I don't know. That just turns me off.
A
Have you tried baking bread?
B
Bread?
A
Yeah.
B
Like, what bread?
A
Like, fresh bread.
B
Oh, yeah. Like focaccia. Yeah, I love making focaccia.
C
Have you mastered the art of sourdough yet?
B
No, I haven't even tried yet. I should, like. It doesn't look that hard, but I haven't even attempted it yet. Oh, my sister's sending me her sourdough starter.
C
Okay.
B
Yeah, she's at least sending it in the mail.
C
How long does it usually take for you to, like, starter?
B
You can make a starter? Right now, I think it's just flour and water and then the yeast, I don't think. Do you put yeast in starter? I don't know.
C
That's not what. We don't know because it's, like, alive.
B
Yeah. Maybe you do put yeast in it, and that makes it alive.
C
Yeah.
B
I don't know the science, but that sounds about right. And then every day, you just keep adding flour and water to it, and
C
it's to, like, do something.
B
Yeah, but there's a really old called feeding it. Yeah, yeah, yeah. There's a really old one in San Francisco. It's, like, over 100 years old, and they just keep feeding it every day and just keeps.
C
It's getting bigger and bigger.
B
Yeah, I guess so. But, yeah, that's my segment, y'. All.
C
Okay, so for the tea of the week is I made Kat a red bull cranberry. Peppermint.
B
Peppermint. It's like a.
C
Like a dirty red bull. I. I know she likes, like, a good peppermint cranberry. So I kind of mix the two and needs energy because she's gonna go work out after.
B
I'm in my. I'm sorry. This is, like, right next to the microphone. I'm in my workout gear, y'.
C
All.
B
This is what I'm wearing to the gym tonight.
C
Make sure to, like, g. I think all the flavors are inside.
B
Okay. I love cranberry. Right?
C
Yeah.
B
Oh, that's so good. I just.
C
She's. She's a cranberry girl.
B
I love cranberry anything.
C
I don't know why, but I'm like, girl. I can never drink, like, just straight up cranberry juice. Cat can't really. No. I think it makes my mouth so dry, and I don't, like. I don't really like that cranberry taste.
B
Oh, really? I think since when I was. When I was really young, I used to like it, so I think because I've just always drank it, it's like, girl, cranberry juice and me.
C
It's a. It's a great, like, best friends bladder infection enhancer.
B
I think that's why I never had a uti, because I just always. I always drink cranberries. No, literally. But what's your tea of the week?
C
Oh, my tea of the week is how do you guys feel about the antivirus?
B
I'm scared.
C
That's all I've been seeing. Thank God. Like, I saw, like, a little, like, clip. Please. You guys know me about my whole information and whatever. Whatever. But I know anyways. I saw it on the Internet. It's like, it's not really like, as contagious as, like, the coronavirus, where it's, like, an airborne kind of thing.
B
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah.
C
It's more of, like, if you consume the food or, like.
B
Right. Like, sleeping next to the person I guess contact or, like, the Andes. The Andes is contact.
C
Oh, really?
B
I think that's how you pronounce it. Andes. It is contact. But there's different varieties of the Haunting, Harris. Like, the more common ones was from rodent to person.
C
Yes.
B
And then from person. You can't spread it.
C
Yeah.
B
But the one that's happening on the cruise ship is person to person. But, oh, my God, it was like, husband and wife. Got it. And then. I don't.
C
Kissing. That's why, like, stop kissing.
B
Stop kissing your husband. Like, that's crazy. Just don't kiss men at all, actually. But, yeah. I mean, everyone's saying you shouldn't freak out because they're, like. It's a lot.
C
They're.
B
I guess they're. They're being a lot more proactive this time around.
C
That's what they said about COVID Yeah. And look, five years down the drain.
B
Yeah. No, literally, I'm hoping it's gonna be okay, but no, It's. It's freaky, though.
C
I know. It is. Like, there's always, like. I noticed, like, I don't know if we want to get into this. There's always, like, diseases coming out after diseases, and I'm like, who the heck are making this diseases?
B
Yeah.
C
Like, is it just the universe saying, like, oh, here?
B
Well, I think the. The hantavirus, they said it's been, like. It's like, a South America thing. It's more common in South America, but, like, they said, like, it's more rodent to person.
C
Oh, yeah.
B
And I guess there's different, like, berries of it. I think it's called. I don't know.
A
Strains.
B
Yeah, strains. I'm not a doctor or a scientist. I'm just a person.
A
Right. And we're just talking about our opinions on it.
C
Yeah.
A
So don't take it.
C
And my opinion is, stay on that boat.
B
My opinion is, don't kiss anyone.
C
I'm like, you guys. You guys can take a vacation on that boat. For how long you guys want to be staying there?
A
Like, yeah, that's so true.
C
Just, like, enjoy it. Like, my solution is that if that happens and then they're still on the boat, we should just keep giving them, like, supplies.
B
Like, I think I would enjoy it.
C
There you go. With, like, a remote control, like, boat.
B
Yeah.
C
You know, like, just, like, shipping them, like, a bunch of, like, food shipments. Like, oh, we're missing this.
B
I would give them a list of my demands.
C
Yes.
B
I'd be like, I need this. I need Sephora. Like, you guys need to send me this girl.
C
It would be faster than Amazon prime if I'm going to be doing it, because I'm like, yeah, just stay there, please.
A
What would be. I. I've always thought about this. So let's say there's a zombie apocalypse. Oh, what would be your, like, ideal place to be stuck in, like, a building, a store?
C
Costco.
A
Costco.
B
I heard. Not Costco. I heard the warehouses is where it's at.
A
Oh, because it has more supplies.
B
Yes. I'd be there. I don't know how, but I would keep it. Keep it to myself.
C
I would be, like, zombie occupied.
B
Yeah. I would, like, put makeup on, pretend I'm a zombie. I think that would keep me alive. I don't know.
C
I kind of would. You want to help people or you want to be selfish?
B
I would help people, but in the day, if I helped too many people, I think I would die.
C
Yes.
B
So in the day, if I want to live, I should be a little selfish.
C
You know, you're like, is it giving? Like, oh, here's the stash. There's no more. But then there's a big stash in the back.
B
Oh, no. I would. I would be help as much as I can, but I don't know. I just feel like I wouldn't last that long.
C
Really.
B
I do. I think I'd be the type to, like, give too much.
C
I probably would have 10 years.
B
Really?
C
Yeah. I would give myself 10 years for me to be like, okay.
B
I feel like. I feel like, you know, Zombieland, the blonde? I feel like I'd be her.
C
No, I. I haven't watched that.
A
You didn't watch a movie?
C
No.
A
Well, since you guys are talking about movies, should watch Zombieland.
B
Yeah, Zombieland's good. It's like comedy zombie thing, I think.
C
Is it the one where, like, the world is, like, the. The picture, like, the. The COVID photo of the movie is, like, the world and then it's a zombie Land.
A
It's like a. I think so.
B
Yeah.
A
Yeah. It looks like a carnivore.
C
And it was a game, right?
B
I think it's a game.
A
Not really. I don't think it's a game. Oh, yeah, yeah. Actually, it's been so long since I watched it, but yes.
C
Yeah. Okay.
B
That would be the blonde, if y' all know who that is. I would be the.
A
The blonde. Emma Stone's in it.
B
Yeah. Do you remember, is she in the first one or second one?
A
There's a second one.
B
Yeah. Zabieland, too.
A
Oh, I don't remember that oh. Oh, wait, there is.
C
Yeah.
A
I don't think so. I think they replaced her.
B
Yeah, I think they replaced her.
A
I have a laptop. I should.
C
Yeah, yeah.
B
Ay, that's my phone.
A
My bad.
C
So sorry, but no, we. We. Before we started filming you guys, me and Cat was, like, talking about, like, what we've been up to this week, and we've been, like, watching movies. Wait, what? What? Do you want to tell them what you watched this past few days?
B
So. Well, the first movie I watched, I think it was, like, two weeks ago now, was Michael.
C
Yeah. Rate it from so Good, girl.
B
I'm gonna say a 10, because. What's his name? Jafar. That's his name, right? Jafar.
C
Yeah. Yeah.
B
Brad was talking about so Fine, girl. He's so fine. Oh, my gosh. So fine.
A
Is that your type?
B
No, I don't really have a specific type, but Jafar, like, he's just. He just gives off this, like, not masculine energy that he would just know
C
how to treat a woman, like, emotionally available.
B
Yes. Like, he just talks so soft.
A
Too gentle.
B
You're like, oh, my gosh.
C
Oh.
B
But, yeah, he's very gentle, girl. Yes. Anyway, other movies I watch, I watched Yumi and Tuscany.
C
You, me, and Tuscany, I've heard about.
B
It was. It was.
C
Okay, wait, where did you watch this at?
B
I watched it. Regal.
C
Okay. Okay.
B
Yeah.
C
So it's in the theaters now?
B
I think it's still in the theaters. It was a couple weeks ago, though. I watched my sister, my friend, and the main character, who's Halle Bailey.
C
Yeah.
B
I did not like her character one bit, unfortunately.
C
What was she like?
B
She was a mooch off people. Like, she was so, like. Like, she just made her problems. Everyone's problems.
C
Yeah.
B
Right away from the beginning, and that's when I was like, oh, like, girl. Like, I'm like, girl, We. We've all been through things. We've all gone through a lot. Like, some of us. Like, some of us don't go to other people, just try to use them and, like, just, like, make their problems, you know, make their problems my problems. Anyway, that's. That's the big ick I got from the movie. I thought it was very cute, though. I thought it was a very.
C
Like, the plot about.
B
Is it like a rom com where she. She goes to Italy and she meets a guy.
C
Yeah.
B
He. I don't want to spoil the movie,
C
but it was like, romance. Like, oh, like, you have to go to this place for, like, a new change or whatever.
B
Like, she always wanted to go to
C
a Guy there and then they fall in love kind of thing.
B
Oh, honestly? Yeah, yeah, that's pretty much what it was.
C
Okay.
B
But yeah, her character was just very icky, in my opinion. But that's my opinion. If you liked it, I love that for you. Go watch it again, please. And then the other one I watched was the Devil Rose. Prada, too.
C
Yes, I watched that too. So good.
B
So good. I watched it twice last weekend. Really?
C
Yes, I watched it once. And honestly, the first time I watched it, I kind of, like, got emotional.
B
Me too.
C
Because of the character development of all of them. And like, the. Because, like, I. I noticed, like, in the very beginning, like, the very first movie, the divorce product, they didn't really have a happy ending. Well, some of them did, but, like, not most of them. It kind of was just like, okay, yeah, next character. Or like something like that. Like, they kind of just like, left them on the side.
B
I feel like, oh, sorry.
C
Sorry. No, but I was like, saying, like, this one kind of just like it focused on, like, all the main ones, and then they kind of got like. They're all like, their happy ending.
B
Yeah, they all got really good closure.
C
Yes.
B
Yeah.
C
And like, we saw the twins there too.
B
Yeah. I'm like, nobody noticed them at the. At the Hamptons.
C
Really?
B
I'm like, no, my friends noticed them. I'm like, that was a twin. And they're like, who? And I'm like, her daughters.
C
Like, two daughters.
B
Yeah. No, but I feel like the first one watching at such a young age because I think I was like, 10 when it came out. Like, to me, it was a happy ending because I was like, oh, my gosh, I should get back with her, man. And blah, blah, and like, oh, they. She didn't get to work there, but, like, they still are, like, respecting. I don't know. But, like, looking at it now, you're just like, the man was the villain. Like, the boyfriend was the villain.
C
Like, he was like a very. Pick me.
B
Yes. I'm like, girl, let her have her career. Like, let her have her moment. And he was just a hater the whole time.
C
That's like a great example of, like, a career over love life. You know how, like, a lot of
B
people has been like, that's not even a love life. It's a soul circ, soul sucking, like, energy sucking vampire life. Like, that's not a lover.
C
You know, the fact that he wasn't happy at all for her.
B
They were making fun of her the whole time.
C
Yes.
B
Like, they were giving a hard time. Like, girl, That's a good job.
C
That one scene where she came to the restaurant and she started giving them,
B
like, gifts and they would take her phone. Yeah, I'm just like, girl, that's my job.
C
That's my job. I'm like, that's my job that got you all of those.
B
Right, right. That's a job that I respect and people are respecting me finally, you know, like. Yeah. So I just feel like this new. This. This the second movie, it was very much like, even with the guy that she was seeing. I mean, I don't want to spoil. Spoilers, maybe, so maybe this is spoiler. But even the guy she was seeing, she was like, when he wasn't able to comfort her and he wasn't able to, like, help her where she was struggling, she's like, we need to go right now because I need space. I'm like, yeah, send that bitch home. Send him home until he acts fucking right. And then he came back acting fucking right, bitch. Anyway, so, yeah, I was very much for that. I was like, yeah, send him the fuck home because you don't fucking need him. You need your job, you need your girls, and that's all the man is. What's he doing? Nothing.
C
Plenty of other men.
B
Yes, but he came back naturally, and that's how he could come back in her life. The fuck. Sorry, but sounds like a personal. Yeah, this is coming too close to home. Foreign. Have you ever heard the saying, tell me what you eat and I will tell you who you are. I'm Katie Lee Beagle and I'm food obsessed. Tune into my podcast all on the Table and get to know celebrities, boldface names and industry insiders in an all new way as they share the ingredients that make their recipe for life.
C
I want to know it all, from

B
And hey, everybody's got to eat. Make sure to tune in every Thursday and follow so we can devour every last morsel together or putting it all on the table.
C
I also watched I Reincarnated as a slime. It's like an anime show.
B
Oh, yeah, you're telling me.
C
Yeah, it's actually a pretty good show. There's like a whole, like, series behind it. I never personally watch Day. I kind of just got dragged by Nikki. She was like, I really want to watch this. Can you come watch with me? Because she's like, A big anime lover.
B
Oh, I know that.
C
Yeah. And then I was like, okay, fine, let's do it. Are you wearing like a. Yeah.
A
Anime.
C
100 Thieves.
A
No, no, they do collaborations. This is Jujutsu Kaisen.
C
Oh, I watched that.
A
Wait, who's a bigger anime nerd? Is it Nikki?
C
Nikki.
B
I never knew that about her. That's the thing she hid. I never knew that.
C
Nikki, I'm so sorry. I don't know if you would.
A
Nikki, don't be. Don't be afraid. Don't be shame.
C
There's only some certain animes that I watch. I watch Hunter X Hunter.
A
Okay, respect over respect.
C
What's the other one? Keep going. Yu Gi. Oh, okay. Some of, like the Pokemons. I. I didn't personally watch a lot of the episodes, but I. I watched a lot of the movies that came out. What is that one? Demon. The Demon Hunter?
A
Yep.
C
Demon Hunter 1. What else?
A
So you watch all the popular ones?
C
Yes. Yeah.
A
Have you watched Dragon Ball?
C
Yes, I have.
A
Younger.
C
Yeah. Cats like Beyblade. I don't know if that's an anime.
A
That is an anime.
C
Yeah, for a time. Yeah.
A
You have a favorite. What anime?
C
Hunter X Hunter. I just don't like the ending. I thought it was like, ends. It did end. They're not making it anymore.
A
I heard they're. Okay, I won't start rumors.
C
He's a rumor starter.
B
You heard it here first.
A
No, I'm a fire starter.
C
Okay. But anyways, you guys, if you guys don't know, Kat is turning 30.
B
I'm turning 30 next week, May 15th,
C
maybe we kind of talk about our 30s. Because I'm turning 30 in two years too.
B
You're a one year.
A
We just talked about this.
C
Don't give.
B
You're turning 29 this year, so next year you're turning 30. Girl. Girl.
C
No. So this is one year, and then the second year is the next year. So two years.
B
Girl. What's next year? One year. Two years.
C
One.
B
Yeah. So you're turning 30 in one year,
C
and then this year.
B
I don't know.
A
We're in the middle. When's your birthday, Ms. K?
C
August 30th. Okay, so no, 27th. Sorry.
B
Yeah, yeah.
A
Okay, so on August.
B
So in three months.
A
Yeah, so three months.
C
That one year. Is that a year?
A
And three months.
C
So that's two years.
B
One year, three months. So one year, two years. Okay, girl.
C
Okay, give me my two years.
B
She's holding on. I'm like, no.
A
And then when she turns her, she's like, oh, that went by fast.
C
No, literally, I'm like, girl, my birthday is coming up. Yeah, Your birthday is May 15. What does that make you, like, a gem? Oh, Taurus.
B
Yeah.
C
Wow.
B
Yeah, she's a cute little Taurus. But yes. I'm turning 30. I actually wrote a cute little list.
C
Okay. We should read through it.
B
I'm going to take to my 30s.
C
Okay.
B
You know, so should we start?
C
Yes.
B
Or is there any questions you guys want to ask me first?
C
Are you excited?
B
I'm so excited. I. I don't know. My twenties. Not everyone's twenties, but my twenty. Girls didn't say rough.
C
My twenties is rough.
B
My twenties, it was just. It was just yucky. Like, twenties are not like people say, like, when you're in your 20s, you think, this is the life. But now that I'm leaving it, I'm like, girl, leave it. Take it back. I don't want to see it. Like. Like, I don't want to see. I won't look behind me. Let's move forward. That's how I feel right now.
C
I don't know if I'm the only one that noticed, but every time, like, I would turn, like, the next, like, number. Like, when I was, like, 18, I couldn't. I didn't like, my. What I did in my teenage years because I was like, oh, I can't wait to be 20s.
B
Yeah.
C
Like, at that time, I was like, oh, that's gonna be where I start. And then now that I'm closer to 30 and, like, I'm leaving my 20s, I'm like, oh, I can't wait.
B
That's how I felt. Yeah. When I was 25, I was like, oh, 30s are so close. Like, yuck. Yuck. Yeah. And then when I think it wasn't until last year I turned 29, I was like, Girl, where are my 30s? Like, I'm ready for you. Because all I've ever heard from people who are older than me is, like, 30s were my best years. Are your. Your best years? It's your prime. So. See, even Ozzy said yes.
C
Are you 30?
A
I'm 35.
C
Do you think you're on your prime? Wow.
B
Prime with what? Like, all aspects of life or their specific prime, you think?
A
I think at the top of the list, it's, like, prime with, like, my understanding of life, period.
C
Like, it.
A
Like, it unlocked something in me. And now it's like, now I'm living.
B
I. I agree, but, like, because I'm so new to. I'm not even 30 yet.
C
So we're gonna get a key when we turn 30.
B
Yeah. Like, that's really how I felt this year. Like, as soon as we came into this year and probably, like, probably wasn't until, like, February, like, February, March was a time that I really was like, wow, Like, I'm coming into my 30s, and I feel so good and happy about this, and I feel so ready for my new chapter in life. And that's also the time where I started, like, taking my health a lot more seriously and taking my acute little glow up more seriously and just trying to go up in all aspects of my life.
C
Focusing on yourself, basically.
B
Thousand percent focusing on myself. And actually, the first thing on my list is be selfish. Like, that's the first thing I put my list.
C
Yeah.
B
In my 20s, I felt like I was very giving. And there's nothing wrong with, like, wanting to be there for people, but, like,
C
it's your love language.
B
Exactly. But, like, end of the day, you need to be selfish and hold that to yourself, too.
C
Yeah.
B
Hold time.
C
I feel like you could always just put, like, a limit to things, you know, like, okay, like, I've helped you, like, you know, know when to stop kind of thing.
B
Yeah. Like, especially, like, having boundaries for yourself. And there's a lot of times in my life in my 20s where I'm no longer friends with somebody because what had happened, that happened continuously was I was giving. Giving. Giving.
C
Yeah.
B
And as soon as I was like, okay, well, I can't give so much because they're not giving back to me.
C
Yes.
B
They would get so mad at me, and they'd be like, oh, you're a terrible person. And I'm like, why? Because I stopped giving you so many things. Like, I stopped giving you access to me. And it's just like, it opened my eyes finally this year, like, after. After the last 10 years of just trying to give myself to people. And, like, that was. In my head, I was like, oh, people are going to like me more, like, the more I give to them.
C
Yeah.
B
And it's just like, they're not. First of all, they're just gonna get used to using you.
C
Yes.
B
Like, second of all, they're just gonna get upset when you can stop giving. Like, and they're gonna just squeeze every ounce, every joy and everything you have.
C
Yeah. You don't want to build a relationship where all you do is, like, give, and then the other person's not.
B
Yeah.
C
Like you said, they're gonna get used to it, and then when the time change, they're gonna be like, holy.
B
Yeah. And I. I think it's so important to remember that, like, people's love language isn't just your. Your romantic relationships, but it's a friendship, too.
C
Yeah.
B
Like, my friends, they know how to pour into my cup. They know how to make me feel loved. I know how to make them feel loved. And I think it's important that each other's cup. Yes. And then, like, if there's people in your life that aren't doing that, whether it's romantic relationship, whether it's a friendship, they need to go because it's like, if they've had. Girl, it's.
C
I could think of a few right now.
B
No, literally, like, it doesn't take long. If you respect and love and care about somebody, it does not take months and months and months for them to realize what you need to make yourself feel loved. Girl, I literally. One of my closest friends right now, Lena, she. We literally met at the gym in February, and girl, two weeks in, we were over here filling each other's cups. We over here like, oh, my gosh, you like this. Like, this made me think of you. Like, you know, like. Yeah, it just shouldn't take that long for somebody to understand that. Yes. And it's like, you shouldn't force it either. Like, it should just come so naturally.
C
Girl, I get so awkward when it's forced because I'm like, I would catch myself, like, looking at you. Like, I don't know why I'm here.
B
No, literally. And I think that's just so important, like, especially coming into my 30s. Like, one of my closest friends, Zuli, it was just her birthday yesterday. And I know she just turned 30 yesterday. Yeah, I'm 20, 30 next week. So, like, we're both Tauruses. And then we both just relate so much to each other on so many different levels of, like, pouring ourselves into people who don't pour it back into us. And it's just like. Like, looking at her life, I sometimes feel like a mirror because, like, we both are understanding where we're coming from.
C
Yeah. So it's nice to find people that can connect.
B
Yeah. Like, to ourselves. Oh, sorry. Anyway, but that's my first list on my list is be selfish.
C
Okay, next list.
A
I found some other ways to say, like, be selfish in a more refined way. So curating your energy, prioritizing your peace.
C
Oh, right.
A
Honoring your capacity.
C
Capacity is limited.
B
Right.
A
I think those are some good ones.
B
I feel like it all stems to just having respect for yourself.
A
Yeah.
B
Because people, they look worse. Yeah. People look at, oh, I respect myself. I'm not Going to do this. I'm not going to do that. I'm like, yeah, but you're also not going to let other people do that. This to you, you know, Because I'm very big on respect. Like, girl, as soon as I feel disrespect, that's when I'm like, oh, another cat comes out. I'm going to go, yeah, Ms. K seen that? Ms. K. Seen me feel disrespect.
C
And I think I'm the only person that seen Cat be aggressive, be nice. And, like, very, like, outspoken, too. I've seen you very outspoken. Because you're. A lot of people don't think you're outspoken, but I'm like, girl, Cat, she's very outspoken.
B
I feel like in my 20s, I was a. I was a little hothead. Like, girl, I was very much like, you will hear exactly what I think about you right now, you know? But I learned that, like, I can't take words back. I can't take. If I make you feel this way, I can't take it back. So, you know, I had to learn how to shut the fuck up and had to learn to not say what I'm thinking all the time. But there are times where.
C
Well, that I think that's where I am right now.
B
Oh, really?
C
Yeah.
B
Period.
C
Oh, my God.
B
It's a lot like. It's. It's. It's. You're killing your ego almost. Because sometimes.
C
Oh, I don't know about.
B
No. Like, sometimes you want to tell somebody how stupid and wrong they are.
C
Yeah.
B
But at the end of the day, like, you just gotta move on and be like, oh, you want to think that, period. You think that, girlfriend, and move on.
C
I think I just learned that lesson recently. Really, when, like, you have to. We have to watch what. Because I was more on, like, girl, you're gonna take how I'm gonna take it. Like, meaning, like, I'm gonna say however I want to say it, and you're gonna receive it, and I don't really care what you feel after.
B
That was very much me.
C
Yeah. So I'm like, but at least I told you kind of thing. But I learned to, like, hold. Hold my thoughts a little bit and refine them a little bit instead of just, like, saying whatever that's, like, what I'. Because sometimes it is a little mean.
B
Yeah.
C
Kat has told me in the past where I'm like, I am a little too honest sometimes, which is. No, nothing wrong with being too honest, but sometimes you kind of just have to like, what is that? Called, like, refine it a little bit.
B
Yeah, like, refine it. Make it a little shinier, you know,
C
Say it, like, in a way where, like, you're not hurting them.
B
Yeah. Because, yeah, sometimes I. I mean, I wouldn't say I burned any bridge bridges that I would want to keep, but maybe in my past I could have said some things a little bit nicer, for sure, you know?
C
Yeah.
B
Yeah. Gosh, we're just learning, girl. We're just.
C
I'm catching up on the 30s period.
B
We love that.
A
In two years.
C
In two years, period.
B
Okay, so next on my list, it says, exercise daily and exercise your mind.
C
Because, girl, how do you exercise your mind?
B
You can do it by puzzles. You can do it by literally puzzles. Like, just, like, getting your mind to think. Girl, stop using ChatGPT. Open a book, find your answer.
C
True.
B
Yeah.
C
Like, that's, like, only when you're writing emails.
B
Yeah. I mean, sometimes. I'm not gonna lie, I do use ChatGPT sometimes. If I'm like, okay, if I'm doing this, I'm doing this. Like, you know, like, sometimes it's helpful. But there are times where I feel like you could do the extra step by trying to use your mind to think of a solution. Think of, like, you know, so it's just like, using your mind. And then I would, at any say, I feel like working out for me. No, I feel like working out for me has been such, like, a relief and, like, for a lifestyle, because I want to change my lifestyle is why I started working out. Because I want to just.
C
I need to be on that brain again. Like.
B
Yeah, because, like, at any size, at any age, you know, you should be moving your body every single day, whether it's like, just walking, swimming, like, anything.
C
A little advice from, like, one of my trainers before, he was like, you only need 45 minutes of your day to work out, especially in the morning. Because that way it will, like, just trigger your body to just keep burning calories throughout the day. Even if you're just walking or, like, speed walking or, like, just walking around.
B
Yeah. Just as long as you're moving, I feel like. And it's just. It's just good for you. I know people said, I didn't know this until your heart. Yeah. And then straight training is actually really good for your bones. So when you get older, your bones aren't fragile. Like, you're. You're coaching your bones to, like, be more stronger. So if you fall over, you're not gonna break your hip. So it's just like, it's just, like, the longevity of it. It's just. Yeah. Really healthy.
C
Yeah. And you feel greater.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
C
I need to get back on that. Yeah.
B
I did it because I just wanted my overall health to be, like, better, which is actually a lot better.
A
That's good.
B
Yeah.
C
I need to have that mindset.
B
You do, girl. You do.
C
Sometimes I just be doing it just to wear something. Like when I started working out, the whole time I was working out, I just. The reason why is because I wanted to wear low rise shirt.
B
Hey, you look good in it.
C
Thank you. And I lost it.
B
No, you still look good. But, Ms. Kat, you used to go on crazy walks.
C
No, I do.
B
Do you still?
C
No, not anymore.
B
Three hour walks. Like, she would be. She'd be gone. We were roommates. She'd be gone and she'd come back. She's like, oh, we just walked to Starbucks. I'm like, which one? Like, neither of them are close. And she's like, oh, the one over there, like, three miles away. And I was like, oh, my God.
C
I used to, like, walk around Waikele and, like, go up this. The where, like, Foodland was. It was fun. I think I need to do that again. Just.
B
You should. Yeah. I think I've been wanting to start walking the mornings, but, girl, your neighborhood.
C
Great. For walks.
B
Oh, I love. I love walking my neighborhood.
C
I would literally just go from, like, where you go, and then I would start walking and then go towards, like, Croc center, and then just go past that and go to. Back to where your stuff is.
B
You look so much. Yeah, I don't walk that much. Oh, but I need to, because, y', all. I signed up for the Honolulu Marathon. Oh, 26 miles, girl. And I'm starting to train for it, but, yeah, it's kind of hard. 26 months. It's crazy.
C
And did you see the map that they'd be doing?
B
No, I don't want to look at it.
C
Cut through. Like, there's this one, like, gear where they were, like, walking through. What is that the. What is that one place where the blowhole is?
B
Oh, they walk through, like, Hawaii Kai. Yeah, yeah, girl. They walk town. Yeah. I remember seeing that, and I was like, y' all crazy. And then I signed up for it.
C
Yeah, like, Sandy's Beach. They'd be walking there, and then they come back. They come back and to the. The. What is that one place that looks like a dragon? It's like a Hanama Bay.
A
Yeah.
C
And then they just go down to Hawaii Kai and then back to Like, Honolulu. And then they go. They go in circle.
B
Yeah.
C
Every block.
B
Yeah. Like, I'm going. Not for, like, time. I'm just going for the. Yeah. Yeah. Accomplishment. I heard it's really fun. Fun. I'm like, period. I want to have fun, girl.
C
I would stop, like, at every store. I'm like, oh, next.
B
No, literally. Yeah. So I. It's not until December, so I'm training right now. Not training, girl. I'm going on walks.
C
Yeah.
B
But, yeah, so I'm excited.
C
That's gonna be exciting.
B
Yeah.
C
You should do Titans as well. Was it Spartans?
A
Spartans?
B
Hell, no. I'll do a mud race. I saw they're doing a mug race. I would do that. Yeah. We should do it. I want to do it together.
C
Yeah.
B
Get, like, mud all over us. Yeah. Period. Okay, next on my list, self control with my money. Because I'm really bad saving money. Like, when I have money, I'm like, let's go. Let's go out to eat. Like, let's go to Genki Sushi. But I just want to be better at saving my money and being clothes girl.
C
You go through clothes like crazy.
B
I just have different eras. Okay. I'm in my gym era right now.
C
No, when Cat. It's. Cat is like Brett, you know, like Brett, when he goes to, like, a face, he has to get every single color in that looks the same. Let's see. He got a jacket that's like, mine's right now. And then he has to get it in each of, like, the rainbow colors. I don't know why. It's the same way where she has to get every color, every, like, even if the ruffle is, like, slightly different, she'll still get it. I'm like, oh, my God, now you're
B
talking about my dress face. No, literally, I did have a dress era, but I actually lost a lot of weight, so those dresses don't even fit me anymore. So I got rid of a lot of clothes and had to get new clothes.
C
Yeah, you should have, like, reduced and, like, sew it into something that, in
B
theory, sounds great, but I don't think I would ever do it.
C
Like a skirt. You know how, like, you had, like, those long dresses, like, skirt.
B
You're more creative than me, though.
C
You are, too. Okay. When it comes to cooking, we have,
B
like, different creative parts, you know? But yeah, so I just need to be better at being more frugal with my money and not especially coming into, like, a recession. Girl, gas prices are not cute right now.
C
Was telling me about the recession. I Was like, there's a recession happening.
B
It's like, it's like. I feel like we're in it, but like, it's going to be worse.
C
Yeah.
B
I mean, I'm not a professional at this. I just see what I see online. I see what I see at the gas station. So, you know, she's coming and I am trying to be prepared.
C
I don't.
B
Smart.
C
I don't know if this is a theory, but I was like reading an article or like, it's like one of those articles that I'm not supposed to be reading because it's fake. You guys, I. I read a lot of like little fun facts. Okay? But I heard that there is this one guy that invented a water vehicle where it runs on water, but they kind of banned it because they didn't want it to like affect the whole society of gas.
B
I believe. I believe it. 100.
C
Because everyone would just be able to like fill up a tank of water and then, you know.
B
Yeah.
C
So the whole economy would not be like.
B
It would be. The billionaires couldn't get richer.
C
Yes, exactly.
B
Yeah. The big corporations. I believe that.
C
But I'm like, yes.
A
There's an article titled the mysterious death of Stanley Mayer and his.
C
That's the guy that, that did the
A
water and his water hard car.
B
Mysterious death, girl.
C
Exactly.
B
Mysterious death, my ass.
A
You gotta be careful what you say on this podcast.
C
Oh, it's allegedly something. I mean, I'm not gonna go look in his death. Like, I'm like, girl, it could have been like, you know.
B
Yeah.
C
But like, imagine. That would be so cool. I'm like, girl, we built a lot of stuff. Like, why can't we build like a water running car?
B
I feel like they pushed AI so much because versus back in the day, it's hard. It was harder to get the news around, you know, because we didn't have phones and stuff like that. But I feel like because now we have phones, it's so much easier to get the news out. But I feel like they pushed AI to be like, oh, that's AI. Like, that's not real. Because they want to like defraud everything. Or like that was called like when you, you just.
C
Well, you just open like a little section of my mind.
B
I have so many discredit things. Yeah, discredit. That's what it's called. They want to discredit it.
C
Yeah. Like one day because like something could come out one day. Because social media is so like out there and they could just be like, oh, that's AI is not real. Like, yeah, mermaids. Yeah.
B
That's like. Like with the whole. With the whole alien things right now.
C
Yes.
B
I'm just like, I don't know. I don't know if I should, like, until I see it with my own eyes. I'm very much like, girl, they can make so many things out. AI yes. I'm so, like, hesitant to believe anything right now, but.
C
Yeah, but they can be real.
B
I have so many conspiracy theories. Like, my meta glasses. I think they want to see how much radioactive stuff can get in your brain because, like, you're wearing these metaglasses and it's, like, on your brain.
C
And when they do, like, brain scans, they put stuff on. Wow.
B
Like, I be thinking, girl, wasn't there
A
a whole thing where people said that they were inserting chips into us when we had the whole Covid situation?
B
Yeah, because they were doing a big study about it, like, where people. People were getting shipped places, and there were, like, prisoners that were, like, missing, and people are like, do you think they're getting off? Because they're getting told. Because they're getting told that if they do some testing, that they can get released. And, like, the testing is like, the. The chips.
C
That's so crazy.
B
Yeah.
C
Thank God I have a boring life. Like.
B
Or like, my other theory. So we're getting off course right now, but my other theory is that they give us these little technology things because they have it in a bigger scale. So, like, the VR, like, when people do it, they give us, like, a little mini version of it because they are doing, like, way more of it.
C
Oh, yeah. I believe one day we're gonna have, like, that game. What is that called? That one movie, The Zero game. The Arcade One. Ready, player one? I love that one. I think you have.
B
Ready, player one.
A
It's the movie that has, like, all, like, a lot of video game references.
C
Yes. And it's like they put the scan on and they live through, like, the game.
B
Oh, yeah, I can see that they see something. I think they just give us, like, a mini version, like, the meta glasses that they give us, like, a mini version because they're working on something, like, way crazier and way bigger, and they just want to test it. And people are buying these meta glasses, and I'm just like, girl, your brain. Your brain's about to get corrupt.
C
I want one.
B
I mean, you can get one.
C
No, it's too expensive, period. Being.
B
Being broke has saved me so many times.
C
No. Thank God.
B
Oh, my gosh. My next one's pretty Controversial.
C
What's his?
B
Don't give chances. So. Yeah. So my. So there's a chance, huh?
A
Like any chance or like second chances?
B
Like second chances. Okay, so there's difference. I think there's difference between if you fall off with a friend or romantic partner, whoever it is, and like time has gone by.
C
They.
B
You've seen that they've changed. They clearly have changed. They come to you like, hey, like, I would love to like, not work on things, but like, I would love to like get a better understanding.
C
Just say sorry or whatever. Like a closure.
B
Yeah. But for me, I'm just like, girl, you mess up. Like you, I let you in my circle and you show me some weird behavior. Sorry, you gotta go. Because I'm sorry, I'm only alive once. Like, this is my time to be alive and I don't want to spend it with weird ass people.
C
Yeah, yeah.
B
But I know a lot of people, they think like, oh, no, like you need to give people chances. And like, you know, I believe in
C
chance, like multiple chances, but there, there is like a wall that comes with every chances you get, you know, like, okay, like, I would be, I will be like free and open for, for you, like the beginning and then if you do something like, up, then I'll be like one thing, another. But yeah, there would be like a distance.
B
Yeah, for sure there would be. I just, I just don't, I just don't mess with it. Like, I'm just like, girl, there's so many bigger and better things we both can be doing than working on this. Like, you can go do your thing, I'll do my thing. You know what I mean? I just, I just don't see the, the worth in it. Like, I don't see the worth in giving somebody another chance to mess up things again and like disrespect me.
C
Yes. Because how are you gonna mess up my role?
B
Yeah, Like, I. Because the fact that I would never do that to you, but you would do it to me. Yeah. Is where I can get crazy. I can't get past that.
A
Would time change anything about that? So let's say like five years gone down the line. Like, you guys haven't talked, seen each other for five years and then all of a sudden you guys see each other at Whole Foods.
B
Oh, yeah. Like, I've never, I would never be straight up mean to somebody in person.
C
What about the situation that day? Like, the situation that you guys fall off? Like, does the situation matters to you?
B
What you mean?
C
You know, like, if someone like, let's say, let's think of, like, two different situations. Okay. This one was just kind of like, she took something from you, never gave it back. He just kind of got falling out because he was like, whatever, whatever. And then there's your other friend. We're like, she took your boyfriend or something? I don't know. Do you know what I mean?
A
Yeah, I have one, I think, like, because they say when you go on trips with your friends, it's like, a good test of your friendship. So let's just say you guys went on a trip.
C
Yeah.
A
And it just went bad. Like, you got to see each other in a different way. And then after that trip, you guys just stopped talking. Like, you never tried to hang out with them anymore, and they kind of just stop hanging out with you, and things kind of just fall away. And then let's say now five, six years later, you guys just run into each other again. So, like, the situation never resolved.
B
Yeah. Yeah.
A
But it's still like, you guys never talked about it. So, like.
B
Oh, I mean, like, of course I would say hi, but I would have no interest in getting to know them again.
C
Would you say hi first? I would.
B
If I saw them, I'd be like. You know, I'd be like, oh, hi, whatever. Like, I'm very much. I'm very much. Like, Even if I, like, don't like somebody, I'm very cordial. Like, I'll always be cordial.
C
Yeah.
B
And respectful. Because I. I respect back. Like, regardless of the situation, if I see somebody I know, unless it's, like, an ex or something, I'm too much
C
of a Virgo to be doing that shadow. Oh, my girl. You're gonna say hi to me first?
B
Oh, no, I just. That's. That's the thing about, like, what I told you about killing your ego sometimes.
C
Yeah.
B
It's like, for me, like, girl. Because for me to move on so easily from people is because I know I didn't do them wrong.
C
Yeah.
B
And I know they can't say that I did them wrong. You know?
C
Okay.
B
I'm not saying that. Saying doing them wrong, but, like, that's one of the things that, like, people will be like, oh, she was so rude to me. She did this and this and this. You know what I mean? Which isn't, like, necessarily, like, your fault, but people always try to make. Spin the narrative and be like, it's her fault.
C
Yeah.
B
That's what I'm saying. Like, I would never do these things to somebody, so if they want to do it to me, Then that's like, oh, you'll walk out the door. Make sense?
C
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
You have other things on your list.
B
We kind of touched base on this one. Just surrounding yourself with positive people. People who matters.
C
That matters a lot.
B
Yeah. People who inspire you. Like, if people were like, oh, my God, you're just like your friend. So. And so I'd be, yes, thank you. You know, like, that's such an amazing thing.
C
Yeah. Like, to hear like your friend, like, it's like going up. It's like, yeah.
B
Yes. And like, I'm very fortunate that I don't. I mean, I haven't experienced this in the long ass time, like since. Since moving here, but there are people out there who will try to dim the light. You have. You know, like, I've had some really exciting things happening to me lately and like, everyone I told is like, so, so excited for me. But like, I've heard stories where, like, you tell somebody really good news and they just try, like, dim your light, which is so weird. Your friend should never. Your friend, your romantic partner, family, nobody should ever try to dim your light. And if they do, you should tell them to get the fuck out. Because that's crazy. That's crazy.
C
Yes.
B
So I just think it's so important to just surround yourself by people who you respect and people who inspire you also.
C
Like, people who has like, like reach the goals that you want to reach.
B
Yes. Like, if somebody. Yes. Like, if my friend has doing so good in her careers and she's like thriving. I'm like, girl, I'm gonna be you,
C
you know, like, so they can help you out at least, like, yeah, because that's. Here I go again. Never mind. I'm not even gonna say it, but no, because I was like, I do watch a lot of like, like stuff. And then I watch an interview. Like, I keep literally watching stuff. But there was this one girl that she was like, billionaire. And she was like, this is a little controversial because she goes, can you give like a little advice for like some people who wants to be millionaires? And then she goes, don't be friends with broke people. Which I think I was like. At first I was like, whoa, what the fuck? Why would she say that? And the reason why she said that was because she was like, the things like you want to do sometimes you cannot do with them because you have to adjust to, like what they can do. So you can't be. So you can do the things that you want to do for yourself. So always try to be friends with like, someone who can be like, let's do this, and you guys go right away. Or let's like. Or, like, if we want to buy something, we can go buy it, like, right now, because you're always going to be waiting on someone, and that person would be like, that broke friend that can't really do anything because they're always broke. And then she also said was, like, always have 1 million best friend, because those are the people that will build you up.
B
A what?
C
Like a millionaire best friend or like, a friend. At least one.
B
Yeah, girl. Brett, he's so inspiring.
C
I know.
B
Literally.
C
And I'm like, that. When she said that, at first I was like, oh, that's kind of like. Because, like, what if, like, they're, like, really good people, you know? But I see why, why she said that, because I found myself sometimes where I'm like, oh, I want to go do this, but, like, oh, I cannot.
B
I feel like, to an extent, I could see that. But I feel like, look at Brett. He's not surrounded by millionaires.
C
Yes.
B
His closest friends aren't millionaires, but also,
C
he's, like, not friends with broke people.
B
Yeah. Because if he's, I guess, like, a different level broke.
C
Yeah. If he's willing to, like, do something, all his friends can be like, okay,
B
let's do it, you know, like, let's go to eat.
C
Like, no one is, like, getting, like, left behind because they can't do something.
B
Yeah, that's true.
C
They're always, like, they always compromise with everything. I'm not saying, like, you have to be friends with, like, the same tax bracket. It's more of, like, pick your friend wisely, because there's moments where, like, your friends will bring you down because there's things that you want to do in life, and sometimes that one friend is the one that's holding you back.
B
Yeah. I feel like, with that, like, even people who don't prioritize like you do or, like, like, how you prioritize. So, like. So, like, for example, because Brett likes to go out with his friends once a month to get food, and if he had a friend that every time, I don't know, I'm using Brett, like, in general. But every time you go out and your friend. One friend can't pay for himself. Every single time. Yeah. You're just like, okay, girl, like, you know, we're gonna go out. Yeah. Can you prioritize any side? 40 bucks. Like, can you prioritize? You know, I feel like that's a big thing. Like, yeah, people prioritizing the energy, like your. Your quality time together.
C
Yes.
B
That's important. Yeah.
A
I think you should always have, like, a set of friends who are inspirational to you, but you can also have the friends who are, like, supportive. Like, they don't have to be, you know, like the rich billionaires.
C
Yeah.
A
They can be the people that help you get to that place.
B
Yeah. Keep you humbled.
A
And I think. I think what Ms. K is talking about is just like, not having the people who are not gonna take you to that place.
C
Yes.
B
Yes.
C
I think that's what she kind of meant because it's like, ooh, girl.
B
Because there are people who are like. Like, oh, why are you doing that? That entrepreneurship venture? Like, you shouldn't do that. Like, you shouldn't. Like, those are type of people who, like, want you to stay where you're
C
at, where you are.
B
And, like, you need people who are like, no, do it. Like, do that. That business. Like, do more like, you know. Yeah, I think that's. That's so important.
C
Yeah.
A
Yeah. Because I think there's a difference between people telling you don't and people asking you why. Oh, you mean, like, instead of saying, you shouldn't do that. People who are supportive?
C
Why do you want to do that?
A
Why do you want to do that? Because then it helps you become more curious about your life and.
B
No, literally, I guess, like, because I've been trying to do. I've been trying to take, like, my Bussy Bakes, but more seriously, like, my baking side.
C
You know, Someone just asked me about your Busty Bakes situation.
B
Oh, really? Who?
C
Yeah, Ms. Leilani. Hi, Ms. Leilani. My. My hormones girl.
B
Oh, really?
C
Yes. She was like, oh, has Kat done, like, Busty Bakes since she did the pop up? And I was like, I don't think so.
B
No.
C
Yeah. And she was like, why not?
B
I just side hustle. I know I'm a busy girl. I'm really trying to. I low key. I made a tick tock for, like, a day in the life after my gym.
C
Yeah.
B
And I never posted it, but I was thinking because. And then I made a tick tock on how to make, like, my chocolate chip cookies. And I never posted because I'm so shy. Like, I don't know. I really need to. Especially, like, wanting to look for more sources of, like, income. At least. I really need.
C
You should do it with me because I might want to do, like, my.
B
My tea.
C
My tea.
B
We should.
C
And we. I feel like it would be so cute, just us, like, neighbors and we're like, yes.
B
Like, come on through. It's gonna be so fun with our boobies at.
C
Yeah, I'll make the drinks. You make this. It's gonna be so cute.
A
You guys will kill it.
B
I think it'll be so fun, but I just be so shy, and, like, I just. I'm always so busy with, like, everything I have to do in life. So I'm just, like, in the back of my head. I'm just in the back of my head. I'm just like, oh, my gosh, one more thing I have to do. But I really need to stop coming with excuses. I just need to do it.
C
It's really hard for yourself.
A
There's a quote or I forgot who said it, but they said, like, embarrassment is a unexplored feeling.
B
I saw.
A
So just do it, because on the other side of it is everything else.
B
That's so true. But, yeah, I do. Being embarrassed. I'd be like, oh, my gosh, you're gonna laugh at me. Like, who does she think she is? She thinks she's a content creator. And I'm like, no, I'm just trying it. Like, I'm just trying it out.
C
I mean, like you said, we're about to go on recession, and you don't want to be.
B
Right. Right.
C
You don't want to be stuck at home doing nothing. I'd rather be an influencer.
B
Right. I wouldn't, like, if I do that, though. I wouldn't do, like, my. I wouldn't do this life.
C
Yeah.
B
I would just do my personal life.
C
Yeah.
B
I always keep it all very, like, every day. Yeah. I probably wouldn't film it.
C
See, I would watch your baking. Like, I would watch how you want to bake that. Because I probably want to. Wanted to know, like, how you made that.
A
You know, how many likes on this episode would it take you to. To do it?
C
Two likes.
A
All right, let's get two likes on this video.
C
Yes. Let's get two likes for Kat to start posting her.
B
Oh, my gosh, you guys make me blood.
C
It's gonna be so hard,
B
period. What else am I putting? That was kind of it. I said put away clutter because I just been cleaning up a lot more lately just because I'm really bad at having clutter around the house.
C
So what do you want to accomplish in your 30s, from, like, your 30 to 40?
B
Oh, my goodness. That's a great question. I for sure would like to eventually become a mother. That's honestly. That's honestly what I want to do. But I don't Rush it. Not right now, girl. Not right now. Like in three to four years.
C
Yeah.
B
When we have a different president. Anyway. Yeah, yeah, I did what I said.
C
Yeah.
A
No, literally ten toes down.
B
Yes.
C
And better environment.
B
I literally had to think with myself the other day and I was like, if I got pregnant right now, like, I don't. I wouldn't keep it right now. And I'm not having sex, guys, because have on men. But.
C
Except that your neighbor.
B
My neighbor.
C
I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. I'm just kidding. You guys never watch that movie. What is that? Neighbor next door. The girl next door.
A
What's that classic movie?
C
It's like a classic movie. He's like, there's a girl next door that he's in love with. And then they kind of just fall in love with each other.
A
I'm all wet. Can I come in?
C
Yeah.
A
You watch that movie? Damn. That was like.
C
Oh, my God. You would love that movie.
A
Teenage Boy's dream.
B
I'm dead.
C
Yeah, she's like this hot girl and there's like this nerdy boy, period. And then she's. He's like, in love with her and, like, they're neighbors.
A
I feel like you've seen it. You probably just.
B
I'll look it up.
C
You need to watch it.
A
He finds out a secret about her.
B
Yeah, yeah, period.
A
I gotta hook you in somehow.
B
Yeah, period. But, yeah, at the moment, I would not keep a child because, girl, it's not the time. Yeah, to freaking. Girl. I was. I was going to my bills and I was like, imagine this with a child, girl. How y' all survive? I don't know how mothers are.
C
You going to be doing it by yourself also, Girl, I would rather do
B
it by myself than with a man.
C
You're like, I just need some.
B
I just need. I just don't. I don't need a man. I just want a child. Girl, I don't like.
C
I just need whatever I need to get from you. And invite.
B
Yeah, I would go to sperm donor.
A
Okay. I was gonna say, would you consider adoption?
B
I really want to do like a mother, like, have it, you know?
A
Got you.
B
But if I. If I can't, then obviously I would do adoption for sure.
C
But I would want to pick like a blue, like a. Like a very, I don't know, mixed race guy from like a. Like a. Like those bangs. I would like look into their profile. Like, okay, I like the ice, but I don't like the people.
B
I've heard people be like, oh, we have like people in Mind that we want to be our, the, the sperm daddy or whatever. And I'm just like, I don't want any input from the sperm donor, so I just don't want to know who he is.
C
Yeah.
B
But girl, that's like five years down the road. Like that's a lot like this way long.
C
A turkey baster.
B
Yeah. Honestly. But really just having a child and doing more with Bestie Bakes.
C
Yeah.
B
On the side. I'm moving out on my own for the first time in six years. I think seven years. And haven't lived alone a long time. So I'm excited for that.
C
And is the fact that you're doing it in the starting of your 30s. I feel like that will open like brand new doors.
B
Yeah. Like I can just have my own peace and like no animals in my house. Dirty ass animals. So I'm excited.
C
Oh my gosh.
A
I have a few questions for you to close out for your twenties. Thirties. Ask him what's one thing you've always been craving in your 20s that you're now tired of chasing.
C
Oh, going out for me.
B
Really?
C
I've always wanted to. Like when I was in my teen, I was like, oh, I can't wait to go to the clubs and party it up. Now I'm over it.
A
Oh my God, I can't wait to go home.
C
Yes. I'm like, I need to be home by 9 o' clock because I need to be in bed, period. And cuddle and like watch movies all by myself in the dark period.
B
I'm, I'm not, I'm sad because I never had that. Like, I never wanted to go out. Like whenever you saw me out, I was forced.
C
Yeah.
B
It was never.
C
No. We were going out every weekend because
B
I didn't want to be there. I would wear yoga pants to the strip club.
C
Yeah.
B
And have a mask. And I just didn't want to be there. And I was like, I hated it on the corner. Yes.
C
I'm like, I'll be checking up on like, are you okay? Okay. She's like, yeah, fine.
B
I'm fine. Like I don't want to be here, but I'm fine. But I love that for you though. I love that you're like coming into this new era of you.
C
It's kind of like a lot because like a lot of my friends are still in the era where like they're still partying, going to clubs and I'm like, there is a lot of energy that just. I don't know. And low key not to hate on the younger people who started to club, but, like, girl, they're kind of annoying. I don't know if I was like that when I was starting to club, but, like, seeing, like, younger individuals going to club and like, I don't know, I'd just be like, really? Like, why are you doing that?
B
They have to go through the phase. They have to go through the embarrassing phase.
C
And I feel like I went through that as well. So I'm like, oh, fuck. Did I look like that when I started clubbing?
B
Yeah.
C
Or like, was I acting like that? You know, because, like, sometimes they're very cocky. They're like, they. They kind of, like, segregate to, like, the old and then the new ones.
B
Oh, really?
C
Yeah.
B
That's crazy.
C
You could see, like, you could tell which one, like, are the older people and you could tell, like, the younger ones. Interesting. And yeah.
A
What about for you, Kat?
B
Something I no longer will chase, girl. Men, a relationship. I'm over it. They can stay. Men are not lonely enough. Let me just say that they. They are not lonely enough. They want to be baddies so bad. They want to be a girl so bad. They want to be. They want to be wined and dying so bad. And Ozzy's shaking his head, but maybe for some. For some it's not true. Yes, but majority. They're not lonely enough. Girl, they need to stay lonely. Yeah, I'm just over him. Just over men in general.
C
I'm not over men yet. Starting actually.
B
Let's get it on, period. I. Girl, they' not bringing any sort of value to my life. I'm just like, why are you here? You're. Why are you in my vicinity? Why. Why do I hear you speaking like, I think I have come into my man hater generation, my era.
C
Maybe that's when they will come. The good ones, to make you believe in them again, Keep them all away.
B
Even the good ones are trash. Trash.
A
Sorry.
C
Men.
B
Yeah, Aussie.
C
You should date a woman.
A
I apologize.
B
I love my women. Oh, sorry. I love my women, but I don't want to deal. I love women, though.
C
It's like, not for me.
B
Yeah, I tried.
A
We don't know yet. Oh, you tried.
C
I tried to try.
B
I was a bisexual girl for a long time.
C
I was. I was in that phase.
B
Yeah. And.
A
Okay, well, speaking of men, what. What are some other things you're leaving behind in your 20s?
B
Oh, God, girl, I don't even know.
C
Like, old habits.
A
Old habits.
B
Oh, junk food. Like, eating more clean is a big thing I've been doing. Like Takis, like bulldog ramen. So bad for you guys. So, so bad. And I, because, because I've been on tirzepatide that it really doesn't. Like when you eat like heavy carb food or heavy, like greasy bad food, like with a lot of chemicals, it just makes me like, gross out every time I almost eat them and I just makes. It just reminds me, don't eat it, girl. Girl, you know how bad colon cancer is right now with people our age because everyone is just eating protein and everyone is eating food that makes you like, like your insides. Like the bulldog ramen. Like lots of red dye, 40. Like the chemicals. Everyone's getting colon cancer. Eat fiber, guys. Fiber.
C
What are fibers?
B
Like chia seeds. You can take. What's it called? Picilium husk. I think it's called something like that. But like chia sees like fibrous foods.
C
Like, I think like bananas.
B
Bananas. Fiber. I don't know.
C
Fiber, right?
B
I think so.
A
I think apples are.
B
Yeah, apples eat antioxidants like salmon. Yeah, salmon's good for you.
C
Is salmon antioxidant?
B
I think that's Omega 3.
C
Oh, yeah.
A
Omega 3 for sure.
B
Iron people say eat. What's the fish in a tin called?
C
Huh?
A
Sardines.
B
Sardines is a big thing happening right now. They're very, very good for you. Full of proteins.
C
Sardines is really good.
B
But. Yeah, but if you're eating hella protein, eat fiber, guys. You should be having normal bowel movements. And if you're not, go see a doctor.
C
Okay, thank you. Yeah, you got it. I will go to the doctors.
A
Okay, one last question. So we're talking about things you're leaving behind. What are things you're bringing over to your 30s? So like personality stuff, lessons you've learned.
B
For me, I'm bringing into my 30s.
C
I would say my confidence.
A
Yeah.
C
Yes, I. I would like to bring my confidence because I noticed like the more I grow older, the more I get confident. But in a way where like, I'm more of like a reserved confidence, you know, Because I was like a very like out there confidence.
B
Yeah.
C
Whatever this is to me.
B
Yeah.
C
But I'm now I'm more like settle into things. I'm more like calmer but still. Still having like that confidence in me. But not as loud.
B
No. When you walk into a room keeper, you bring this like aura and energy that you control the room without saying anything. Like your eyes speak so much because, like you just see like the confidence rating off you.
C
Yeah.
B
And like I just feel like, people just stare at you.
C
Thank you.
B
Yeah, girl. That's why people follow you on the street. No, literally.
C
I don't know. Okay, so tell me. Okay. I was telling Kat earlier this, like, a story. I went to the doctors yesterday. Okay. And then I was driving on the freeway, and then a guy kept honking at me, and I'm like, what the Is this honking at that? And then we kind of got into, like, a. Where he kind of. Kind of went to the other lane, and then we were at one point right next to each other, and he goes. And I was like.
B
He liked what he saw.
C
And then I sped up, and he just kept honking at me, and I'm
B
like, what are you, like, a local guy?
C
He was like, a local guy, and I think he was, like, on his way to work. And I'm like, okay, girl, go to work.
B
Go to work.
C
I'm like, leave me alone. But I'm just like, but, yeah, yeah, keep honking. I've had some weird, like, encounters at traffic.
B
Really?
C
Yeah.
B
That's only happened to me one time when the guy just kept bothering me. It was on the traffic in Nanakuli. Yeah. That he just kept bothering me and kept, like, trying to get me a roll down my window. I was like. I was like, you look like a child.
C
But what about you? What do you want to bring to your 30s?
A
I'm already 35, though.
C
Oh, what? Okay. I do have a question for you.
A
Okay.
C
What's one thing that you wish you took when you were 20s to now that you're 35?
A
Oh, I. I really. I really should have taken my health into more consideration for my 20s. Yes.
B
Like, what?
C
You're on to something.
A
Just because there's days where, like, I'm, like, so tired, and I feel like there's. You guys probably have felt, too, like you feel kind of, like, unhealthy sometimes. Like, you feel it, like, not necessarily, like, while you're eating. It's just, like, you wake up and you feel, like, unhealthy.
B
When I skip gym day.
A
Yeah.
C
You don't want to do anything.
B
Yeah.
C
I mean, but I feel like we all have those. Those days.
B
Yeah.
C
I still do, but when I compare
A
it to, like, when I was younger, like, my teenage years and, like, my early 20s, like, just being like, I told you guys I play tennis.
C
Yeah.
A
Like, I could run, like, my mile. Time was, like, under six minutes kind of thing.
B
That's fast.
A
Yeah. Because I was running a lot when I was younger, but.
B
Yeah. Do you think it would have been different if you continued to having that. That the high school, like workout everything. Yeah. Routine.
C
Yeah.
A
I think my life would have been so much more different, but I wouldn't be here if I. If I was different. So.
B
Yeah. You're here with us today.
A
Yeah.
C
You'd be a WWE wrestler.
A
I could be a professional tennis player.
B
I feel like, period.
C
You're that good.
A
I will. Yeah. Well, I was.
C
Wow.
A
Never know. I mean, you never know.
B
Yeah.
A
But there's.
C
Oh, yeah. Yeah.
B
I feel like I'm taking into my 30s. Is my workout routine and like. Yeah. Eating healthy or wait, is it, is it leaving in your throat? Taking into our 30s? Oh, yeah. Yeah. So it's very much. It's very much. Yeah. Continuing gym. Continuing a healthier.
C
Yeah.
B
Lifestyle because. Yeah. I want to be. I want to be a strong grandmother and hot and stay looking youthful, you know, it's my plan.
C
And this. You're going there.
B
Yeah, girl, I better be a milf. I swear to God.
C
You already are.
B
But I'm not a mother yet.
C
Yeah.
B
Thank you. You're so funny.
C
I do, I do. I'm wearing it. Actually. I'm wearing my new favorite product, you guys.
B
Her titties.
C
Finding a bra has been a struggle buzz like you guys, it's.
B
You can get bombshell.
C
I know. I want to like, I want to like invest on a good push up bra. But right now I'm currently just like using like regular bras just to like have them a feel, you know? And I hate it. I hate it so much. I hate it with a passion. But I found this one. It's called lounge.
B
Can I see a little bit?
C
It's like this one.
B
Oh, cute.
C
And I like the strap because it's not digging into my like over here. And I can usually by the time, like three hours in, I would feel like my shoulders like getting heavier. And this one, so far I wore it the whole day, I have not felt anything.
B
That's why I like wearing Bralettes.
C
Yes.
B
Which they just don't have like any like padding or anything. Yes. Because just because I, I hate the feeling of a bra.
C
Yeah.
B
So I just usually wear Bralettes because it's just a lot less. Like right now I'm wearing my workout bra, but that's because like when I run or jump, my booties go everywhere. So I have to wear like, like compact, compressed.
C
Compressed things.
B
Yeah. I love that.
C
It's really good. It's really soft. Honestly, the. What I like about it is like the. How thin it Is. And like, how small it is because, like, your brows can be very bulky.
B
Yeah.
C
Sometimes. And I feel like I'm like, girl, why can't I fit anything? But, no, it's just the bra that you're wearing.
B
Yeah, girl, there's so many different period.
C
Like, I know, my friend.
B
I love that struggle for you.
C
No, thank you. My friend was telling me. She's like, I can't wait for you to find that one brother you love the most.
B
Yeah.
C
Because you. She was like, because you will find one. And I'm like, thank you.
B
That's like. I loved. I really love the skims bralette that I wear, and I have it in every color.
C
Really?
B
Yeah.
C
I need to buy. I need to try the skins, because even Nikki lives by this.
B
I love skin.
C
They have an outdoors, too.
B
Oh, yeah, I heard that. Yeah. I. Me and Brett, we used to. We used to just tell each other what we got from skins that week. He's such a bad influence. Y' all don't pay for this if you're broke. Joke, girl. It's so hard because he'll be like, I just got this from skims. And I'd be like, I want that. So I have to order. It goes.
C
Guess another. But you're like, oh, there's like, 120.
B
That's our. His tradition every year for my birthday, he always gives me a skims gift card. And then he'll give me, like, a different gift, but he always gives me a skims gift card.
C
That's good.
B
Yeah.
C
How did you get into that tradition? Let me get one.
B
Let me get into there now. He though. I think one of my first birthdays of him, he got me, like. Like, I think.
C
Oh, yeah, he told me about that. Yeah.
B
Yeah. He got me, like, a couple of different skims gift cards.
C
But, yeah, for me, it's shoes.
B
Oh, yeah. Ms. K, she always gets used. Birthday and Christmas is all shoes.
C
It's shoes, and I love it.
B
Yeah. For me, it's usually a perfume, skims, and sometimes a bag. And he only gets me a bag. Like, I never get new bags myself, but if he gets me a bag, I'm like, oh, it was time for a new bag.
C
Yeah. Clock. Clock.
B
Oh, moon period. Sorry. We'd be talking. Okay, my turn, y'. All.
C
Oh. Oh, my gosh. Okay. Yeah, sorry. I'm like.
B
I just.
C
I kind of got cleared on, like, wherever you are are right now, but okay.
B
Sorry, Ozzy. So my product is this neck cream, so I know Kiki Palmer had an interview with Nia long. Is that her name? I think it's her name.
C
I don't know.

Anyway, but they're talking about a neck cream and I actually started using this like three weeks ago before the interview came out. And it's so good for your neck because like as soon as I. As soon as I realized I was turning 30, I was like trying to get on all the skincares because I'm like, I refuse to age from this day, from this year.
C
Just get Botox. No.
B
So anyway, I started this neck cream and I love it. I do it every morning, every night, and I've gotten a lot of compliments on my neck. I got off Amazon. Oh, sorry, sorry.
C
I'm not. It's called Z. Z.C.
B
yeah. Neck cream. It's yellow on Amazon. I really like this one. But when I run out, I'll probably try another neck cream and see how I like that. But I like it because it has these things on top. So you just like pull do a little bit like that and then you just all over your neck.
C
What does it do?
B
It just helps like with your lines or like makes it thinner. It's like a gua sha too. So yeah, I do it underneath it and I just like. It just helps.
C
I feel like you should start doing like red light therapy like those men.
