So we literally have a friend that goes to the Philippines all the time, and he's always there whenever we go to the Philippines.

What are your feedback on Philippine Airlines? And I was like, well, everyone's perfect. I feel like Filipino. There's no. There's no better thing than Filipino hospitality. I think, like, even hotels and, like, restaurants, when you go to the Philippines, they treat you with so much love, respect, and, you know, Filipinoness. But I told them, I'm like, girl, checking in on Hawaii airport in the Philippine airline literally makes me feel like.

Literally. It's like they had a red carpet that was not even red anymore with tape everywhere.

With the dinosaur computers that are always down, like, no shade. But I was like, there's so much Filipinos coming out of Hawaii to go back home. And that is the check in line.

Oh, that reminds me, I should probably read the Tea of the day already because I'm literally gonna probably forget and so I can talk about my week, the tea of the day. And I'm just literally going to read the entry that I had written down when I got back home. Hey, girl, I just got back from my New York City trip. It was so much fun. And on my first day I got facial from Ms. Christine Chin. And of course we had to hit up the Thai diner. And the disco fries never disappoints. Oh my God, girl, if you guys are in New York, go to Thai diner and get the disco fries. The next two days were spent in my new potential work office. Wink, wink. And I even got to see what the warehouse looks like. It was so awesome. I met so many kind and powerful people. And you know your girl is always charged up when I meet famous people. Like literally after that I got to check into my apartment in LA because I got everything makeovered. I was getting things like painted and I was getting new like furniture. So I had to check up in there. And I also wanted to break my ten hour trip into five hour trip.

But while we were scheduling pretty basic. And Two Faced was also kind enough to invite me to the Sabrina Carpenter concert. And you already know I had to go. I also got to hang out with ppg My Love island girlies. And they were so cutesy. Okay, keeper, I know you have so many questions and I told you to stop asking me because we had to save it for the pod. So what do you want to know? What do you want to know?

Because I was like, I was like scrolling to his TikTok and you guys, I don't watch his stories like that. All my friends watch his stories so they just be telling me like things. And he was like, they were like, oh my God, he's going to the Sabrina concert. And I was like, okay, cute.

I tell you why I didn't get you merch after. Because girl, there was no fucking line. Like, there was no merch store. Really. I couldn't find it. Well, where I was. We were in the suites. Because we were. And I was literally asking around where the merch stores were. The only merch stuff I saw was outside. Like, where the of, like, people just, like, selling it in, like, random trash bags, and, like, they open it up. And I was like, well, I didn't want to get you, like, fake Sabrina Carpenter. Fine merch. So. Yeah. But yeah.

So they were also invited by Two Face and pretty basic who are our podcast sisters. But it was so funny because Janae got there first, and I think Alicia was trying to introduce Janae to Remy, but me and Janae made an eye contact, and we literally just started talking about Hawaii and, like, was telling me about, like. Okay, I don't know if she wants me to share this, but I feel like I want to share it.

But when she told me that she saw me hiking one of the pillboxes one time, and she was like. I guess she was with her friends, and she was like, that was private.

And then another time is when she saw us. She said she saw us. Like, oh, my God.

She saw us? Because she mentioned you. She said she saw us in town. I think we were leaving, like, Cheesecake Factory.

And she said that I guess she was with her friends again. And then she calls my name. She's like, Bretman. And it turns really quickly because she got shamed to, like, ask for a photo or, like, maybe not for a photo. But just, like, ashamed for, like, yelling my name out. It was so funny. And then we also were kikiing about, like, common friends that we had, because she had friends that were in track and field with me in Campbell.

But she said that she had common military friends that were, like, in military. That was in Campbell.

I felt, like, low key, like, such a snob to everybody else because everyone was asking me to take shots and, like, do drinks, but I was saying no to everybody, like, including Alicia and Remy. Like, I would never say no, but I was so jet lagged. Kiefer. Yes. Imagine, like, three different, like, time zones in one week.

Like. Yeah. And you had a flight the next.

Day, and I had the flight the next day. Like, girl. And I knew, even, like, the last time I was telling you, I had, like, two drinks at the Halloween party, and I got so whacked.

So I was just, like, saying no. But when Leah and Serena got there and they. I don't know if they had already lit, but they were like, turn, girl. And I was not about to disappoint them.

So they were like, let's. Let's take a shot. And I'm like, yes. So we take. And I don't know why, but that bar that we were in only served doubles, so if you had ordered a drink, you were gonna get a double. Yeah, if you ordered a shot, it was a double shot. So.

So Janae had ordered us all a shot. We all took care. That was when. In the Snapchat. In the Snapchat or Instagram story, I.

Literally screamed, you guys. I was like, how dare he not in. Like, not include me in this.

Somebody tagged her on it, and she was showing me the video of me fangirling about her, and I'm like, serena, you don't. You don't understand. Like, whenever. If you're smiling, I'm smiling. If you're laughing, I'm laughing. She just has, like, that energy to me. Like, I don't know. But the whole time we were just cracking up in the back, like, talking about. I was like. Because you know how everybody kind of, like, dresses like Sabrina Carpenter. So the whole front row of the bus, all the girlies, which love. But I kept being like, mama, Sabrina Carpenter behind you. And then my moment with Leia, we were talking about just, like, being Leo sisters. I was helping them film Tiktoks, but it wasn't until towards the end, which you know how I feel about Miguel, girl. So, I mean, after the concert, we were like, we were wondering who won the fight with Jake, Paul and Mike Tyson. Yeah. And she calls and FaceTimes Miguel, and I'm literally, like, in the corner.

They literally closed down the entire island for us, which. The island itself was literally like a small rock in the middle of the water. But still, it was such a privilege to, like.

The food was amazing. That was the first time I've ever tasted pearl meat.

And a lot of plants that go well together are bromeliads, calatheas, orchids, and anthuriums. So you could get like a bromeliad, an orchid, and maybe like, an area and put them in one pot because they all kind of, like, thrive together.

These are plants that, like, have, like, thicker roots so that they don't, like, really compete. And, like, I've had the same potted plant for the past three years now that my assistant got me for my birthday when I turned 22 or 23, and it's still there. We've never changed the soil. I love, like, the lavender pillow spray, but I also been loving, like, the TikTok shop ones. The one that smell like different things. Like, I think it's called, like, Maverick Perfumes. I'll link it down below. But they have, like, really cute room sprays, and I thought that would be cutesy, like, to set someone.

Yeah, you spray it on, like, my linen. Yeah, it's cute. Another kit that you can make someone is like a bath kit in here. I put. Get them a robe, a headband, and like a bath bomb of your choice. And like, put it in a little basket. Like a little like, spa kind of as a gift. Like spa. DIY spa gift. And like, put a face mask in there. Like, like lip scrubs. Body scrubs. Yeah. You know, and the last thing that I had in here is a travel girly set. I've made these for, like, my older cousins before.

Lindsey, my other assistant in la. Lindsey. And I just make them like local kind boxes of like just things that I love in Hawaii. And some things that I feature in there are like scrubs, like body scrubs. And some of these I find in like farmers markets or just like local stores. Honestly, something that me and Kat has been loving is this brand called Malama soaps. They make all kinds of things, but we get the nectar and blossom body scrubs and it's shimmer. They just smell so good. Like so good.
