We actually didn't end up going to the Philippines this time around because one, we had our flights booked to go there, but we could not find flights to get back home on time for other responsibilities that I had. So. So we thought it'd be the best to not stress everybody out, including the managers. The Philippines and literally just. It was a lot. It truly was a lot. And it was starting to feel chaotic that I felt like it was the best if we just push it on a later date. When will that date be? Who knows? But all I know is I'm gonna go to the Philippines at least once this year. It's really just. We are again pre filming though, because this one, we do have a flight ticket back home. We are going to Coachella.

I feel like, because like all the times that I've been telling. I was telling this to be. I was like, all the times that we've been going to the Philippines. It was no stress.

It just kind of happened and it flowed through.

And this one was just kind of like chaotic.

Just like not anyone's fault, obviously, besides me. At this point, I really have to blame myself because I'd be saying yes to so many work and jobs and it's really just like, oh, gosh, you got priority.

It was even getting she's just a girl.

I'm just a girl with a job.

It was either getting risking being stuck in the Philippines and missing out on my other jobs and opportunities or staying at Home and vacationing, which sounds like a great idea, but like I said again, I wouldn't know when I would return.

So. And Ms. K had to go back to work as well. Also, before we move on, I would also just like to say that because we were pre filming, we weren't really able to talk about a lot of the things that's been going on in here in Hawaii. Ms. K, would you like to tell them?

So there has been, like, a bunch of storm just lining up the past few weeks, and it kind of flooded some of our towns here in Hawaii.

[Ms. K]

Yes, The Kono storm, specifically, like the last two storms that happened in a span of one week.

[Bretman Rock]

And it was, like, kind of unexpected. There was like, kind of like no warning happening.

[Ms. K]

Yes. And it's because a lot of the big. Well, if you guys didn't know, the biggest downpour of it was the second time around, and it happened at midnight, literally from like 12 to 4.

[Bretman Rock]

Yes.

And by the time that all of our phones had the emergency alert, we were.

It was already too flooded.

[Ms. K]

So many towns have already been flooded at that point. It was already too late. Thank you so much to everyone that checked up on us.

How was your house?

My. I thank God. I didn't really feel the whole storm. I just feel like I was in, like, a higher place because where I live, we're kind of up in a hill, so we didn't really feel this stuff. And then there's a big wall right behind my house, so we could. I didn't really feel like, the rain or like the wind that was coming through.

So, yeah, you do live up a hill and I live up the mountain. So fortunately, fortunately, we're safe.

My. My dog, chickens are safe. My family is safe as well in Ewa Beach. And so if. If I must say, there are things that happened in my house. Like, my rain gutters were, like, all collapsed. I had to reroute some of the pipings in my house because it really was starting to flood as well. But obviously nothing compared to Wailua.

Yes. Manoa and Makaha down the road.

Makaha down the road. Or like even outside islands like Molokai. So let me read you a journal entry that I wrote recently. March 26. So many things have happened since the last time I had time to sit down and reflect and just write on my journal due to the scheduling issues and oh my God, this is literally what we addressed already. Due to the scheduling issues and flight issues, we ended up having to move Philippines and the Thai trip to a later date, I'm sure. And I hope I get to go home this year still because I was so excited for that. A week ago, Hawaii was also hit with two devastating storms that really affected a lot of the lower lands, farmlands, and even a lot of the roads as well. And the beaches also had a lot of trash. But like always, the Hawaii community did what it's always done and was here for each other. A couple of my friends and I carpooled to help out a bit at the affected areas in Wailua. Despite the circumstances, it was very eye opening to realize right then and there that at the end of the day, we are all that we have. And I met so many light of people that day on my side of the island. We were able to help distribute food to those that were affected by the flood and also do a successful beach cleanup that was done in less than three hours because of the turnout. This island is full of aloha. It's everywhere you look. And the island is definitely healing.

I'm there, but, yeah, they're not usually there. But, you know, sometimes it's so funny because, like, oh, my God. Wait, speaking of work, you know what's so annoying? So I found out the other day a group of tourists came to my job and was like, oh, my God, we want to take a photo of you. And then they were talking to me. I was talking to them because they were like, yeah, I was, like, getting to know. And they go, yeah. So the lady before we comes here, the tour lady, was like, do you guys know who Bretman Rock is?

[Ms. K]

Oh, hell no.

[Bretman Rock]

That's what I said. And then she goes, no, they said that in the bus. You know, like, those tourist bus. I guess a lot of. Because, like, people sometimes come in there, like, freaking out, and they're like. And I think that's why. It's because they probably think you're there, but they're always like, yeah, if you guys know who Berman Rock is, Their cousin works on this coffee shop. And when I found that out, I literally ran to the lady who, like, does like the tour. Yes. And I was like, please don't ever do that again. And then she was like, why not? They get so excited whenever I mention, and I'm like, girl, I be hiding sometimes.

Yeah.

Just because of anxiety and, like, just

a girl trying to get her work done. Like, I'm not.

I just thought it was so funny. But I'm like, what?

[Ms. K]

I feel weird too, sometimes.

Like, how do you feel? Like your name gets brought up in a tour in Hawaii.

[Ms. K]

I. I don't know how I would feel. I've never had to deal with it. But if that is happening, I. I can't obviously tell people to stop.

Where's my compensation?

Things like that, like, literally, like, when I get singled out, like, literally. Okay, for example, like, my drag mother. Love her so much, but every show that I go and attend her, sometimes the announcer will be like, this is Bremen Rock's drag mom. And like, the whole.

[Bretman Rock]

Everyone looks at me.

[Ms. K]

Everyone just looks at me. And I'm like, like, no. I mean, yes. Like, she is my drag mom. Shout out to Ms. Shalani Dante, my mother. But sometimes I literally get like, yes.

I'm like, I'm just here to watch.

I'm just a daughter. I'm just a daughter. Or even just like, in track, like, my first day, like, coaching the kids.

I'll update you in a bit. But my first day coaching the kids, like, my head. The head coach was like, does anybody know who Bremen Rock is?

Yeah.

Anybody know? And obviously some of the kids, like.

And then where you start standing right next to him.

[Ms. K]

Yeah. Yeah. So even just that, like, being pointed out. Yeah. As like, who knows him? I literally just want to crawl into a ball and, like, scream.

That's so cute, though, because imagine, like,

[Ms. K]

the kids are like, who the fuck is this old ass man? Like, in our practice. But update. It's been fun. I took the kids to my first responsibility of a track coach this last weekend for Punahol relays, because the coaches had to split up because there was two meets happening. One was a qualifying meet and one was a relay at Punahou. And since I was the one forcing the kids to go to the Punahou relays, I was in charge to take them. Me and Jeanette. Although the head coach ended up coming too.

[Bretman Rock]

Oh, so it was just you and Danette and the kids?

[Ms. K]

Yeah,

[Bretman Rock]

Actual coach.

[Ms. K]

I'm a coach coach.

[Bretman Rock]

Oh, my God.

[Ms. K]

And so Just last week, I had to focus because it was a punahou relays. I focus with the relay team. So I was doing a lot of, like, baton passes, a lot of, like, chemistry work with them, and a lot of, like, sprinting workouts. And I was actually, like. I would say last week was my first full time, like, coaching the whole time, because usually I'm only there for Tuesdays and Thursdays, but last week, I was there every day.

[Bretman Rock]

Yeah.

[Ms. K]

Because, baby, this is the one fucking meet that I had forced them to do.

[Bretman Rock]

Yeah.

[Ms. K]

And needless.

[Bretman Rock]

Did they eat.

[Ms. K]

Girl, they. I will not take the credit because obviously I'm not the one running.

[Bretman Rock]

Yeah.

[Ms. K]

But every relay that I train, they all got, like, one or two.

[Bretman Rock]

Congratulations. And you were so nervous.

[Ms. K]

Literally, the 4x1 and the 4x4 for my boys and the girls. So good. Yeah, so good. And their passes were so clean. Even the parents were like, the passes are so clean. And I'm on this side, like.

[Bretman Rock]

Because you know how to do it. Yeah, you've done it. You kind of know. I know what it needs to look. Yeah.

[Ms. K]

Yeah. And a lot. Even a lot of the kids, like, which I would say I get why people love coaching. It's because it's like, so just when the kids are like, oh, my God, coach, I really like that workout. Or like, coach, I feel so strong today because I don't, like, workout yesterday. Or, like, just them giving me the credit. Like, obviously, they're not being like, coach, we won because of you. But, like, obviously they wouldn't.

[Bretman Rock]

They can't tell the difference.

[Ms. K]

Yeah, but they can tell the difference with. Even our head coach was like, oh, my God, these passes look so good. Like.

[Bretman Rock]

Like how I was asking you earlier, before we started this episode, I was asking Brett, like, since he's already so skinny and he keeps working out, like, I'm like, do you even see the difference?

[Ms. K]

Yeah.

[Bretman Rock]

And he was like, yeah, he does. And you just, like, feel more stronger, like you were saying.

[Ms. K]

Yeah, it's more of a feeling. I feel like I look the same. I. People think I look buff. I'm literally, like, I've been 150 or 140. I've been around 145 to 150 since I was literally 22.

[Bretman Rock]

Yeah.

[Ms. K]

I'm 27 now, so for five years, I literally have just been around that weight, so. And I don't plan on being heavier until my 30s because, baby, like, I don't want to buy new clothes. I still want to fit in my vintage jpgs in My dresses, so I like the way that I'm built. I also run a lot, so it's like, it's hard for me to, like, maintain a lot of weight, so. Yeah.

[Bretman Rock]

And you barely eat even.

[Ms. K]

So I do. I try my. I think that's the hardest part about nutrition and fitness is eating for me.

[Bretman Rock]

Same.

[Ms. K]

I hate eating.

[Bretman Rock]

I love eating, period, because that's, like, the thing. When I used to work out, I didn't have any, like, diet restriction to myself. So after I work out, I would just eat whatever and I'm like, girl, I have not. Like, my weight went down, but my figure was staying the same, if you know what I mean.

[Ms. K]

I'm like, that my weight is the same, but my figure is the same as well. But inside, like, my muscles are stronger.

[Bretman Rock]

Yes. Yes. Yeah.

[Ms. K]

Is your feet fully healed? Are you ready to go back on your fitness?

[Bretman Rock]

I am ready to go on my fitness journey, but so sad that I have to not. I have to postpone it again because of my titties. The universe is not yet.

The universe don't want you to be fit.

They just want me to be.

I'll start today. Okay. Besides my new sunny angel, the peacock one, a product that I've also been loving this week is the tear tier ceramic milk ampoule. I love this thing. You ever have something? Well, maybe not, but sometimes I be having things that I get, like, laying around, and I'm literally like, why don't I try that? And so this is one of those things I just grabbed.

They have really good products.

Yes. This is one of those things that I grabbed from my pr. I thought it looked similar or, like, words like milk ampoule or, like, even, like, the ingredients reminded me of, like, the Rhodes glaze thing because I ran out of it. And they're so hard to get because Sephora is always sold out. And I was like, oh, this kind of looks like it, girl. So much better. It's so good. Tyr Tier, you ate this up. It's the ceramic milk ampoule, and I used it as hell.

I. I have their lip tint, the water tint. So good.

[Ms. K]

Okay. My product of the day. You did? I just started playing with this because I had the Patrick star setting spray, and I started using this because I ran out recently. And it kind of, like, has the same, like, moment where, like, it's like, this. The mist. But it smells good. It doesn't smell like alcohol and it kind of. I like it. It gives me like that soft matte look.

[Ms. K]

Yeah, I ran out of my mind. I'm so glad you still have that.

Yes, I love this. I just started wearing it this way. But I do say I also feel

like it makes my skin go.

Yes, it does. But I do say it's not makeup transfer proof like the Patrick star one. But yeah, it does the job.
