My years senior sneak away. It was such a mess because there was like two groups planning it and we couldn't figure out if you wanted to go to Makaha beach or North Shore at Waimea Bay, but we ended up going to Makaha beach, and, like, one third of us went to Waimea's.

But we also have different sneakwood.

Yeah.

Yeah. Two different ones.

But you never know who's planning those, though.

Yeah.

You know what's that? Like, a day? Like, an actual day of people to do?

Yeah, but it's more of, like, a traditional thing that, like, it's not, like, a school thing. Yeah, so it's like a more of a student thing that they like.

Oh, we're gonna do this senior this day today.

Yeah. Did you guys have a senior prank day?

I think so.

We literally tried to do one that wasn't even harmful, but there's just this one fucking teacher who hates all the students, which I will say, if you hate kids, don't work.

Don't. No, don't work. But don't work at a school. Like. Ms. Kimora, I'm talking about you, you weirdo. You're such a bully. And I really hope that one day Campbell wakes the up and realize that you are the biggest bully in that school, because I still have students, student council students telling me that you're a big bully. And you also bullied me, so. Girl, I don't even understand why you're so loud in that school. Let me just digress. But you a weirdo. Sorry, I just have to say that because you are so.

Yes. And she still hates kids and, like, could not do anything. But anyways, we had to do. We wanted to do a senior ditch day, and our one.

Our one prank day.

[Bretman Rock]

Prank. Yeah, Senior prank day. And our prank was like, bring your dog to school. Yeah, girl. She threatened all of us that we would literally get expelled or not graduate if we brought a dog to school. Okay.

[Ms. K]

Is there a rule for that? Right?

[Bretman Rock]

I mean, probably not, but you shouldn't bring a dog. So we said, okay, whatever. And then we were just gonna organize, like, no uniform day. Okay. Because now Campbell doesn't have uniform, and she still want to be all up on her ass. And I'm literally like, also, when.

[Ms. K]

When Campbell had uniforms, they only wore it to class, but they would take that out right after.

[Bretman Rock]

Literally, girl, it was me.

[Ms. K]

I was that, too. I would just wear this to. Because a lot of teachers didn't really mandate, like, mandate, mandate, mandate.

[Bretman Rock]

I love that, though.

[Ms. K]

Mandate with school uniforms. So everyone would just wear whatever, but people would just Bring a uniform just in case a teacher were like, oh yeah.

[Ozzy]

Do they still have.

[Bretman Rock]

No, not anymore. I feel like I walk so they can run.

[Ms. K]

No medal.

[Bretman Rock]

I was never on in uniform.

[Ms. K]

I have so much like. I don't know how I was a straight A student but had so many like written up passage to go get reported in the office for no uniform. But I. But also the teachers never gave a. Like even when I was in the consular, I. I would be so glad that I was sent to the office because I would. That mean I got to hang out with the vice principal, which I love. She don't hate kids. Love you, Ms. Silva.

My counseling was really nice too.

[Ozzy]

Yeah, some stuff. I. I used to work a lot with like kids and teaching and stuff. And I, I feel like as long as it doesn't impede with kids learning.

[Ms. K]

Yes. As long as it doesn't.

Yeah.

Alcoholic sexual content.

[Ozzy]

Right.

[Ms. K]

It shouldn't matter. That's how. That's why I really like Kapolei. Because Coppola High School did not have uniform at all.

Or probably teachers that hated students like Kimora.

[Ms. K]

Yes. It was actually my high school in Kapolei was probably one of my favorites. Just because they input like a lot of activities for us. Like we had like during lunches we would play games with everybody. So it would be like upperclassmen versus lower classmen and we would win something and just for fun, like they would just like. And then we would have like little concerts. Like they would invite like musicians to our school and they would play during our like lunch.

Yeah, but okay, last thing I want to talk about is in the last 10 years that you graduated and in the last nine years I graduated and in the last 17 plus years that Ozzy graduated, what is the number one thing you learned about high school? That ain't educational.

[Ms. K]

That ain't educational. Yeah.

I'll go first.

[Ms. K]

[Bretman Rock]

I will say that none of that shit matters, I think. And I say that because like, girl, when you're in high school, you think you have the biggest problem. Like relationship problems, like high school dramas and stuff like that. Like it does not matter. The minute you get graduate, girl, like the most popular kid in school ain't shit. And I say that as somebody that I would consider. I was a little popular myself, but I'm not. Shit. Like the people that peaked in high school, I feel so bad because like

they're not peaking anymore.

[Bretman Rock]

Yeah, I would say that like, girl, sometimes don't ship out too much on high school because girl, trust me, the Losers. Or the nerds are going to be the hot ones. And the hot ones. The jobs. The team captain.

[Ms. K]

Sorry, babes. You're going to have kids.

[Bretman Rock]

But no, like, guys, literally, it does not matter after high school. Don't take high school too fucking seriously. Get your education. Get great education. Make all the friends you can. But also, don't take it too hard. Yeah.

One thing I learned about in high school is to just. Loki. Take it in.

Be in the moment.

Because I learned that because I kind of was in the moment for a bit, and then I kind of had to, like, refocus because, like, I was like, whatever, whatever. But you can also, like, be in the moment and, like, not just your choice, and, like, just do the things that high school students do from. From Spirit week. Spirit weeks. Oh, my God. Do spirit weeks. Because those are the most, like, funnest part of high school. And.

And join clubs that matter, too.

Like Gay Straight Alliance Club. Student Console Yearbook. Make Friends, y'.

All. Tennis.

Tennis. And if you're the person that's been wanting to go to a club and just don't have the courage, now you're finding a sign.

Oh, my gosh. Class Kurtle crew, I believe. I feel like this is one of my hurdler friends that made this for me. Probably a boy, I think probably Seth or Jonah, period.

[Ms. K]

Yeah. Oh. Also, one thing I learned is don't be scared of your counselors. They're, like, probably the most helpful people in your high school life. I learned that at the end of my high school career where, like, wow, these people can really help me graduate. Because I used to scare of, like, talking to them for no reason, but ask for help. They will help you for real.

[Bretman Rock]

Ozzy, what did you learn?

[Ozzy]

I think the biggest thing I learned was to live with the intention of growing. I think a lot of kids at high school like, this day, like, oh, this is my life now. Like, skipping school or. Yeah, that's what they. Keep it there.

I was talking to my. My nephew about.

[Ms. K]

Because he.

[Ozzy]

He was like, I don't know what I want to do. I'm like, that's okay. Like, you're not supposed to figure it out at high school. Which I feel like we're all conditioned to think that.

[Ozzy]

Like, we're supposed to know what we're

doing the end of the end.

[Bretman Rock]

Yeah.

[Ozzy]

But I told him, like, just take a gap here and, like, you can discover yourself, but just make sure that you're doing it with intention. Because if you're just gonna go work and then go back home and, like, not do anything, then it's like, yeah, you really are just wasting.

And I think that's why when Brett says, like, join clubs or something that matters to you, that will actually help you, like, finding yourself.

[Bretman Rock]

Yeah. Even just joining student console and track, for me, like, really, truly, I feel like, planted the seed of, like, the work ethics that I have today. Like, I1, I learned to, like, do so many things with console, like planning things and, like, knowing that, like, I'm not the only person in the team. Like, yeah. Doing team stuff.

[Ms. K]

And mostly friends who are, like, from your joining track.

[Bretman Rock]

Yeah. And track and student concert. Yeah. Are still in my life today. So make friends, y'. All. And I want to leave it off to Class of 2016. I would say congratulations, welcome.

Sorry, y'. All. Congrats, Class of 2026. Congratulations. Especially the high school students. Welcome to the real world. And truly, all I gotta say is you are just getting started. You're just getting started, girl. Your life just started and you're. I.

Honestly, from my point of view, your life don't start once you turn 18, period.

I feel like that's when your life actually starts. That's when you're, like, able to, like, think for yourself and everything.

Like, if I slept on my. My arm, it literally.

The iPad watch.

Yeah. It literally feels like a wall clock on my arm.

Yeah, I love my whoop. I got my first 100 sleep. I will say the only bad side to having, like, wool or aura or, like, a Garmin is you really get so invested in it. Like, sometimes I wake up and if my sleep score says 75, you'll go back to not even that. Like, I will feel like, okay, I'm gonna have a bad day.
