Bretman Rock
Hello. Hello everyone. It is I, Bretman Rock.
Justice Fester
It is I, Justice Fester.
Bretman Rock
And today we are finally doing the Bretman Rock and Justice Fester episode. I feel like we have been edging them for this episode for so long now. Ever since we did the Halloween episode last year, period. Cue the intro. Ratman to Earth. Earth to Bratman. Girl, you already know who it is. And we are back. As you guys can see, I have my dandy dandy iPad today because I'm going to be reading some of the questions that you guys have sent us. I posted on my stories today, but before we get to that, I feel like we should do a little catch up. They haven't seen you in a while. The last time was when we did the who Knows Me the Best video. Do you have anything to say about that video?
Justice Fester
No. It was a lot of fun. I like being on POD with Princess and Cat. We talked about going to the Philippines, but we had not went to the Philippines yet. Right?
Bretman Rock
Yeah. How was the Philippines for you?
Justice Fester
Philippines was amazing.
Bretman Rock
What was your favorite thing about the Philippines?
Justice Fester
Baal. That's how you say it.
Bretman Rock
Girl.
Justice Fester
We went and saw the Tarshiers are the resort resort we stayed at. It was very much like giving like White Lotus.
Bretman Rock
Shout out to Amorita. Shout out to Amorita. Was there any key takeaways from that trip for you?
Justice Fester
Just that I love Philippines. Everyone's very welcoming.
Bretman Rock
Ready to go back with me soon.
Justice Fester
I can't wait.
Bretman Rock
Speaking of going back, I am filming this the day before my flight back home to the Philippines. Better than Billie Jeans. Guess that is why I get more head than the Guillotine. I'm going back to Manila. If you guys don't know what I'm going for the Philippines for, I feel like I can finally say it because by the time this episode goes out, it'll probably be out already. But I am the first cover of Allure Philippines ever. And not just me. It is with Ms. Heart Evangelista. And we shot it right. The last time that we were back home in the Philippines. I think it was the day that you landed is when I shot it. Because you were supposed to be on set that day.
Justice Fester
Yeah, the El Nido part, right?
Bretman Rock
Yeah. Like we had just landed back from El Nido in Manila and then that's what we shot. And I'm sure you guys already know that a bad bitch shot for Blk as well. So I have that collab with Blk and a fabulous cover for all Philippines with Heart Evangelista. That's where I'm in the Philippines for. But do you want to tell them about Coachella? We've also gone to Coachella. We were home for, like, a week, and then we went to Coachella. How was your Coachella experience ever with guests? And I'm sure you guys are so tired of hearing about Coachella, but he hasn't talked about it yet.
Justice Fester
Coachella was very bougie. I was not expecting it. We flew privately, obviously, with guests. We got there. We got picked up in, like, these pretty cool, like, colorful shuttles.
Bretman Rock
They look.
Justice Fester
They were, like limos on the inside. We got our own, like, house with a pool and hot tub and stuff. It was really fun. It was.
Bretman Rock
What was your favorite set that we saw at Coachella?
Justice Fester
Either Lady Gaga or Charli xcx.
Bretman Rock
No, you were, like, Gaga out. I never thought you were a monster.
Justice Fester
Yeah, I'm gonna have to say Lady Gaga, actually, because her. Her show was just very artsy. I loved it. Yeah. Like, the whole opera theme.
Bretman Rock
You liked when she was, like, dead, you were like, oh, my God, babe. This is so artsy.
Justice Fester
Yeah.
Bretman Rock
I'm like, yeah, it's Gaga, girl.
Justice Fester
She's a true artist.
Bretman Rock
Was there any bad things about Coachella? Negative things besides hot?
Justice Fester
Except for me coughing up dirt for the next week after getting back. I know, but, I mean, that's just Coachella.
Bretman Rock
So is it time to address the elephant in the room?
Justice Fester
What's the elephant in the room?
Bretman Rock
Would you like to tell them why you're wearing a hat? Because, as you guys know, Mr. Justice was a silver head for Coachella.
Justice Fester
You don't gotta call me out like that. But.
Bretman Rock
But we have to call. What. They're probably wondering, where is your silver hair?
Justice Fester
I bleached my hair for Coachella. It wasn't silver.
Bretman Rock
It was blonde, but okay, girl.
Justice Fester
Yeah. And then I. I didn't know how my work would react to it getting back. So, like, that night, I just got home, and I took a pair of.
Bretman Rock
Trimmers and just buzzed it, giving Britney Spears 2007.
Justice Fester
Yeah.
Bretman Rock
Or maybe five, I think.
Justice Fester
Show them.
Bretman Rock
Do you want to show them your hair?
Justice Fester
It. It's actually grown, like, very fast for it only being a week.
Bretman Rock
So he buzzed his head, you guys, because he didn't want to get in trouble from work.
Justice Fester
It's giving very military buzz cut. But then I went to work on a Tuesday, and everyone was like, where'd your hair go? Why'd you cut it off?
Bretman Rock
I know. Why did you cut it off? Because, you guys, I told him to just FaceTime me and we can just color it together on FaceTime. Yes. I fell asleep, but I was like, girl, just get a dark brown Revlon, like a cheap one. You don't really have long hair anyway, so it doesn't matter if it has.
Justice Fester
It's.
Bretman Rock
It's box dye. But you just didn't want to diet back to black.
Justice Fester
Well, after you fell asleep, I was like, you know what? It'll probably just be faster if I buzz it off. Opposed to dying it for. You have to like, what, diet for like 40 minutes or an hour or something like that. And then that's. If the color sticks, you have to redo it.
Bretman Rock
That's true. I feel like.
Justice Fester
And at that.
Bretman Rock
What do you mean, if the color sticks? It's going to stick, especially if it's dark.
Justice Fester
Well, it was already like 11 o' clock at night, and then I had work the next morning, so I was like, just gonna buzz it.
Bretman Rock
That's fair. Before we answer all of your questions, I feel like the burning question that we always get asked is, how did we meet? And we actually met twice. So I'd let you guys. I'll let justice tell the story of how we first met, and then I'll tell the story of how we second met. And that's when we started dating.
Justice Fester
We first met in Scarlet six years ago, which is a gay club here.
Bretman Rock
And probably the best and the only gay club in Hawaii, honestly.
Justice Fester
Well, they just. Yeah, they just opened up another one, but I don't know.
Bretman Rock
Oh, they did?
Justice Fester
Yeah. I don't know if that's good or.
Bretman Rock
Not, but I haven't been to a club since I literally turned legal or, like, at least back in Scarlet. I turned 21 and I stopped going.
Justice Fester
Yeah, it's been at least like six months a year for me because I just go for, like, celebrations of, like, birthdays or something. But anyways, we met at Scarlet's. Ms. K was actually the first person that came up and talked to me. I guess they didn't know. Oh, like Brett and Ms. K. And then he had a couple of friends, like justice.
Bretman Rock
As well.
Justice Fester
Yes. They didn't know. They thought I was cute. They didn't know whether I was gay or not. Ms. K came up to me at the bar and she asked me if I was gay. And I was like, yeah, I am. I mean, I'm. We're at a gay bar.
Bretman Rock
But you're like, no, but you were with like two. Two girls and a boy. And you guys literally look like just us two straight Couples.
Justice Fester
Yeah, I was. I was with like a group of friends and it was like one of the girls birthdays in the group. Anyways, I told Ms. K I was gay. Ms. K, like waved Brett over basically. And then we just started talking and then I think he got a drink and we like shared it.
Bretman Rock
Like, I don't know why, we just never got like two drinks.
Justice Fester
It was like an AMF or something like that.
Bretman Rock
It was.
Justice Fester
And we just start. We just. We shared it. We were God, deep in conversation, I guess. And then after Scarlet closed, we went to like Zippy's at like 2am I was kind of. Well, we got super drunk and then I was kind of like embarrassed because I was with like a group of like 10 people and I was close with like maybe like two of them. The rest of them I didn't know. I think I got super quiet when we all went out to Zippy's and I got kind of awkward because just.
Bretman Rock
Like a big group and we were all like drunk and like the lights were on and I think we were all just like, girl, yeah, we were just trying to get our zip pack and go.
Justice Fester
That part was a blur for me, honestly. But yeah, we ended up. Nothing happening. We didn't even exchange numbers. Got. Didn't get any pictures together that night. Then I remember messaging him. I think it was the next morning after that had happened. And when I woke up or whatever, I messaged him and asked him on a date. And he never replied.
Bretman Rock
Nope. And the reason why we. Well, you saw it differently than I did, but everything is basically true from all the way down to Zippy's, especially on your point of view and my point of view. That all happened. But what had happened when we were at Zippy's and why we initially never got each other's number is because one of my girlfriends came up to me and was like, Brett, I think he's talking to like one of my friends. And I was just like, not that girl. I'm not that girl to be in anybody' roster, girl. So I cut it. I really was just like, okay, he don't. I kind of just like lost interest, honestly, because I was just like, well, I didn't know he was talking to someone else, so I'm not going to be like putting myself in there. So I think that's why it resulted to us not getting each other's number. But six years later, six years go by and Kat, it makes me watch this show. I forgot what it was. But the. It's like when they're all living in their bunkers. Let me Google it.
Justice Fester
Oh, by the way, I was not talking to anyone at that time. I would have not talked to Bretman or what.
Bretman Rock
Would you like to tell them who the guy was? Tell them who the guy that was talking to you.
Justice Fester
Oh, yeah, the guy that made that up or whatever. He was like a pathological liar. He was known. He's known for, like, lying to people about just random things, stupid things I shouldn't be lying about.
Bretman Rock
Yeah. So the guy that he was supposedly talking to, I also knew this guy. I wouldn't say he was a friend. He was more of, like, a friend of a friend. And I met him, and he lied about so many things as well, to me. So that's how I knew that. When he told me that he was lying about it, I was like, oh, I didn't doubt it, because this guy's the type that would lie about his parents dying where he lives. He said he lives in Fiji. I'm like, you know, you don't. He talks about, like, just so many. He hypes him like, you know those people that just lie about everything for fun. And don't get me wrong, I do be lying for fun, too. But, like, there's just people out there that just be lying out of their ass, and he was one of them.
Justice Fester
So basically, he was interested in me, but I was not interested in him. And I kind of, like, denied him so I could. So maybe his way of trying to get back at me was, like, trying to ruin something between, like, me and Brett. I don't know.
Bretman Rock
But we always thank him because I really don't think those people should have dated.
Justice Fester
Yeah, no. We were two whole different people back then. We were not as mature as we are now. We obviously had, like, life experiences that we needed to go through for us to be able to have, like, the relationship we have now. So, yeah, honestly, I'm kind of grateful for that.

Bretman Rock
So going back to what I was saying, we met six years later, and this was last year in May, which, honestly, I did the math. And when this episode goes out, it'll be probably around our one year when on our first day, we ate. But anyways, going back. So Kat made me watch this show called Fallout, and the ending of it was so intense that I had to pause. And the show, girl, I have not told this story in so long that I literally forgot about everything. But basically, I go on Tick Tock, and I see. I'm scrolling on Tick Tock, and I see a picture of him and a dog, and it was him in, like, a golden Labrador, I think, right?
Justice Fester
Yes.
Bretman Rock
Yeah, it's a Golden Lab. Oh, Golden Retriever. Yes, it's a golden Retriever. And he's taking a picture, and he's just smiling in the picture. There is nothing really going on in the picture. It was one of those trends that was like, here are my red flags or green flags or whatever. And then the next slide was him on a boat, still smiling. And right away I was like, who is this man? Like, and it was bothering me. You know when it bothers you because, like, you can't remember who someone is. Like, you know, you know them from somewhere, but you can't remember where it was. I'm literally staring at these pictures for, like, 10 minutes now. And then I finally decide to go on his Instagram page on TikTok. He's so cute. He's so cute. And I literally was like. Not only was I already bothered that I couldn't remember who he was, I was also bothered because I'm like, he's so cute. Like, so I need to, like, talk to him, obviously. But he is private on Instagram at the time. And because his Instagram is connected to his TikTok, I click on his Instagram, it's private. And I'm like, girl, do I risk it all for this man? I don't. I literally do not slide in anyone's DM ever. And I was just like, it can't hurt to just be like, hey, what's up? But also, I needed to know who he was, so I literally Was gonna DM him. Do I know you from somewhere? That is literally what I was gonna DM him. But as I press DM message, there was a six year old message waiting for me. And I'm not gonna read you what it says because that's in between us. But it was just like him apologizing, being like, oh my God, I'm so sorry about last night, I would like to take you out on a proper date. That was basically the synopsis of it. And I reply and I'm like, is that date still on the table? Because I'm not doing anything.
Justice Fester
I remember waking up at like 6am or 7am for work and I saw the DM and I replied the same exact day that he messaged me. And we went on a date same day too.
Bretman Rock
So yeah, you were like, oh, I'm free on weekdays. Oh no weekdays from this time to this time. And I'm also free weekends. And I'm like, are you free tonight? Like, what the fuck? So we went on a date that very night. That very, very, very night. Should we tell them where we went on a date? Well, we went to Roy's in town. Yeah, Roy's, Waikiki, which was your choice. Honestly, such a great restaurant. We have one on my side of the island too. And the whole time I was driving there, I'm like, why the hell did I tell him I would drive to him? But I remember being so nervous that day. I literally was picking out over like four different black tank tops that look the same. But going back to the date, I remember just like seeing you and I was like, there was already like a sense of familiarity there that like we were just so comfortable ever since like our first date. Honestly. Would you say that?
Justice Fester
I would say I was very. Well, I feel like when I had saw you, it's like I. I mean a lot had changed in between that time, but also at the same time, nothing. Like it was very familiar. Familiar.
Bretman Rock
Yeah. I really feel like we left off. We really picked up from where we left off. Even though where we left off was literally at Zippy. It was drunk as. What was your first impression of me?
Justice Fester
Like, I thought that you were even more beautiful the first time I had met you. And I was kind of intimidated because obviously you're like Bretman rock and stuff and I didn't think that I was. I, like I was also overthinking what I was gonna wear to the date and stuff. And I probably spent like a good like 30, 40 minutes trying to figure out what I Was gonna wear. I just overthinking it.
Bretman Rock
Oh, my gosh. Same. I probably acted, like, cool. Like, oh, my God, this. This. I just got to see the back of my. My closet, girl. Like, it was not that much, but, yeah, that was it. Like, really. We just went on a day. It felt like everything was cute. And we went on another date. Like, two days later. I took you to a.
Justice Fester
Are you talking about the farmers market?
Bretman Rock
Yeah, the farmer's market. I took you to the farmer's market. It was like a food market thing. It rained on us. And then we ended up, like, driving to ma childhood beach that I used to go to all the time.
Justice Fester
And we just sat on the beach.
Bretman Rock
And talked when we talked. And then I think you told me about, like, a lot of trauma. We did a lot of trauma dumping, for sure. And then I had to leave for Miami. I remembered, no, no, no, no. We went on another date before Miami. We went to the beach. I remembered because we were gonna date. We're on our first day that we planned was supposed to be at the beach on May 4, but I literally was like, girl, let's go on a date today. And that was May 1st. And we went on three dates before I had to leave for Miami. The beach date was really fun. We did the rock painting. And that's when I posted that video for the first time on TikTok and was like, okay, I don't really feel like launching or soft launching or hard launching anything. I was just like, let me just drop this video. Did we post it on your.
Justice Fester
Yeah, on mine. On my TikTok.
Bretman Rock
Hello.
Justice Fester
That was honestly probably the cutest, like, date experience I've ever had. Like, we painted rocks and drank wine and listened to, like, Frank Ocean. And was it just Frank, or was it Lana, too? No, it was all Frank.
Bretman Rock
It was just all Frank. And then a couple of days after that is when I realized we're both.
Justice Fester
Really big Frank Ocean fans, for sure.
Bretman Rock
That was it, right? And then we went to bed, and then I had to go leave for Miami a couple of days after that. And then I got back home, and that's when you asked me to be your boyfriend.
Justice Fester
So I got him. I got him a blue bouquet of flowers, and I. It said it had inside of it. Will you be my boyfriend, period?
Bretman Rock
And obviously, I was gonna say yes, because you also picked up my dog Lily and picked me up with her. And I was like, oh, my God, this is so cute. And obviously you and Kat, like, were talking, like, and stuff like that. That's how he got Lily. He didn't just come to my house and, like, got Lily. Also, how many weeks after did you. Did we start talking? And then until you asked me out, I feel like it was like it.
Justice Fester
Was in between, like three to four weeks now. It was almost a month. I thought it was a month, but it depends on.
Bretman Rock
No, our first date was the first. Right.
Justice Fester
Okay.
Bretman Rock
You asked me out on the 22nd. That's like three weeks.
Justice Fester
I said three to four weeks.
Bretman Rock
Oh, okay. Period. No, I'm just doing the math. Like, bitch, I don't know why you're trying to extend it to four weeks. It was three weeks.
Justice Fester
Whatever. It doesn't matter.
Bretman Rock
Period. Okay, should we answer some of these questions? So that's how we met, and that's how we started dating as well. Okay, what are your signs?
Justice Fester
Like my zodiac, astrology.
Bretman Rock
Yeah, Yeah.
Justice Fester
I am a cancer, sun, Libra rising. No Leo Moon, period.
Bretman Rock
And y' all don't know my. Y' all don't need to know my. But I'm a Leo, Scorpio and Aquarius. I'm all the fixed signs that sun, moon and rising. What irritates each other the most? Like, if you needed to irritate me, what would you do? And what would I do if I irritated you? Because I know what I would do to irritate you.
Justice Fester
Oh, I know what he would do to irritate me also. I don't know. I've never thought about trying to irritate you.
Bretman Rock
You really don't irritate me.
Justice Fester
You just be like, not irritate you as much as I possibly can.
Bretman Rock
You really just be saying things sometimes that. I'm just like, girl. Sometimes I'm really like, girl.
Justice Fester
But that's low key kind of funny.
Bretman Rock
Yeah, no, he just be saying things like, I'm like, sis, what? And he. I don't know. And I joke about him like, just being a straight man sometimes, but he really be doing, doing and saying the straightest shit. Sometimes I'm just like, oh, my God, you're so fucking irritating. Like, for example, and Guess, please do not take this seriously. But we were talking about Guess jeans, right? And he inter. And I, it was me, Ms. K and Brian, we were talking about gas. And he goes, what is guest jeans known for? And I'm like, girl, I swear, if you asked that, like, in the middle of like the guest dinner, I would be so irritated. But I literally go, it's in the title, girl. And he's like, guess jeans, bitch.
Justice Fester
I didn't know it Was guess jeans. At first I just knew. I've guessed.
Bretman Rock
Okay, that's valid. But girl, I literally was like, oh my gosh.
Justice Fester
Something I could easily do, probably irritate him is, I don't know, like, put Belk in something.
Bretman Rock
Girl, that would actually, no, he do be liking to eat. I. And I sometimes, like, I think you do it on purpose, but like, or not even. You just like everybody in my life in general will just like eat something with dairy in front of me knowing I can't eat it. Or like, you'll get something at restaurants knowing I can't eat it. You, however, I feel like if I wanted to annoy you, I would just chew really loud.
Justice Fester
Yep, yep, that's an egg for me.
Bretman Rock
I would just chew really loud or like tap something really loud.
Justice Fester
I hate like ASMR stuff.
Bretman Rock
He's not really like when people like.
Justice Fester
Chew with their mouths open, like they like smack. I don't know, it's like, it's like taking chalk and like, just like scribbling on.
Bretman Rock
She's not the best fan of asmr. Let's just say that. Yeah, like chewing loud around you is like annoying to, to you. I don't really care cuz I'm like, girl, I'm a loud chewer. Who said I love you first? Yeah, I feel like, yeah, I literally said I love you the day he asked me to be his boyfriend. I'm like, God love you. That's my man's. But you kiss me first. Why are you so quiet, Justice? They want to know why are you so quiet?
Justice Fester
I guess I'm just very conscious. I, I, I don't know, I just think about other people and I don't like being like, annoying or coming off the wrong way. So I just kind of like, I'm more of like an observer.
Bretman Rock
She's very just much that so on the Halloween episode, I remember seeing a comment being like, I can tell he's not really into Bretman because he's not really talking much. I can tell. Or he's so quiet. I can tell.
Justice Fester
Just because I don't talk much on a podcast to like the world doesn't mean I don't talk a lot to him. I probably talk most to him than I more to him than I do to like anybody else. That's just how I am. I'm very, like, selective.
Bretman Rock
Yeah.
Justice Fester
If I get comfortable with the person, then I can open up and I will talk more. But when it comes to strangers, I'm just, I'm very weary, I guess.
Bretman Rock
Yeah. You guys have to understand, he just is getting used to this. This is his third podcast episode ever. If anything, you're doing better than you did on our first one. Honestly. Because I remembered we would remember. I remembered we would do, like, even practice podcasts. Just because you were so nervous about it. Yeah.
Justice Fester
I thought of one thing I could do to irritate him. It's probably something I'm doing right now. I tend to, like, I have really bad posture sometimes, and I like, duck and make myself smaller than.
Bretman Rock
He's like this.
Justice Fester
So right now I'm kind of having bad posture, not sitting up straight.
Bretman Rock
You can. You can do that. Okay. Yes. His bad posture really do be annoying me because I'm like, girl, why are you walking around like a gorilla? Like, because he's like this.
Justice Fester
I just have big shoulders. I can't help that.
Bretman Rock
Yeah, they're huge. They're so huge. Are you guys living together or still one? Personal space and time.
Justice Fester
I have my own place. I live in a two bedroom, two bath all by myself.
Bretman Rock
He lives in town. I live in the mountains. We literally, quite literally live on the opposite sides of the island. It could not be even more opposite.
Justice Fester
Yeah, it's like over an hour. It's like an hour and a half an hour.
Bretman Rock
Yeah. But he does stay over every weekend, and sometimes if he gets off early or if he has days off, like, let's just say he spends days off with me. Yeah, we spend a lot of days off together. But recently you've been having a lot of more personal time because your family's in town.
Justice Fester
Yeah.
Bretman Rock
How has that been? Your grandma's been in town.
Justice Fester
It's been good. It's been nice. It's always nice. My grandma hasn't been out. Well, my grandma has been out here for the past week for this is the first time she came in, like, two years. Very nice.
Bretman Rock
She's so sweet. I love it. They also came over for Easter. I hope your grandma had fun. Even though I knew her ears were ringing by the end of the night because how loud my family is.
Justice Fester
She loves seeing you with, like, your cousins and all your nieces and.
Bretman Rock
Really?
Justice Fester
Yeah, she was talking to me about it.
Bretman Rock
No, she.
Justice Fester
She loves how family oriented you are, girl.
Bretman Rock
You know how I be. I'm just glad you guys could make it, honestly. And I could show her my house. Like, I. Period. Oh, also, I feel like I'm a little traumatized, not just from my past relationship, but just growing up in a household with 25 people really did numbers on me. That I truly was. Like, at 8 years old, I was praying on my knees, like, lord, please let me live by myself. When I turn 20, I'm gonna live by myself. I've always prayed to live by myself. So I. I think it'll be a minute until we even, like, consider living together, honestly. And that's just because I love my space. And if there's anything about me. And I love you, obviously, but I love to miss Justice. I feel like it's always, you need to miss your partner. Like, I don't know.
Justice Fester
I agree. We've already talked about it. We. We don't plan on moving in with each other until after marriage.
Bretman Rock
Yeah.
Justice Fester
Not. Yeah. And we're not in a rush. Like, we have a.
Bretman Rock
We're not in a rush. We have our whole life ahead. And we've made promises to ourselves that, like, our careers and ourselves will always come first. And if. If I. If, you know, if my relationship affects my career, like, I'm definitely gonna be like, girl, we need to talk about this. But.
Justice Fester
And I. I want to be respectful of. Obviously, I live in, like, a condo, like, a two bed, two bath. He lives in, like, a big house with lots of land and animals and stuff. All of this is his. I want to be respectful to that.
Bretman Rock
Yeah. But. And honestly, we're just, like, really not in a rush. Like, he loves his space. I love my space. I love when we come together. I love when he's over. And it works for us. So, period. What attracted you to me and vice versa?
Justice Fester
How funny you are. Obviously. I love how you're, like, authentic. You're probably one of the. Well, you're definitely the most authentic person I've ever met. Those are probably the two things that caught. And you're beautiful. You're one of the. You're very androgynous, period.
Bretman Rock
My favorite thing about Papa is probably how he is so grounding. And I think obviously, just, like, your energy and your aura is very, like, calm. I'm not that. I'm nothing of the sort. And it's just, like. It's just so funny to me that, like, someone that is so calm and, like, just not. And not you. You do be having energy sometimes, but I. I don't want to say not.
Justice Fester
And I feel like when I do have energy, I annoy him because you.
Bretman Rock
Want to do the most. But someone who's just, like, so calm, who's, like, with me, who's very. Not. And I'm just like, wow, opposites really do attract. But honestly, that. That's what attracts me to the most other than, like, physical attraction, obviously, because, like. Yeah, but I think it would be probably your calmness that I'm most drawn to. Just, especially, like, at Coachella, too, for example. Like, it was a lot for me, and I. I'm sure it was a lot for you, too, but I think just because you're so calm and, like, you're not freaking out, it causes me not to freak out. So I love that. Yeah, I would say that. Would you guys want kids in the future?
Justice Fester
Yes. But he said he. He. He wants separate kids, I think.
Bretman Rock
Tell them why. Tell them why.
Justice Fester
Because, well, he obviously his sister has enough kids for him and her.
Bretman Rock
I don't know. That is not why, girl. You know the reason why? So justice was like, I want girls. I want three girls. And I was like, oh, that's so cute. Like, what are you gonna name them? Three girls?
Justice Fester
Did I say three girls?
Bretman Rock
You said you wanted girls.
Justice Fester
No, I did not.
Bretman Rock
Okay, well, maybe I said that. So basically, we were talking about kids, and he was like, I want kids. And I was like, what are you gonna name them? That's what it was. I don't think you said a number, actually. You just said what you wanted to name them. And I was like, girl, those your kids? Because he wanted to name them Clementine Mandarin oranges.
Justice Fester
I.
Bretman Rock
He wanted to name them after grapefruits because he loves the color.
Justice Fester
None of this was serious. None of this was serious.
Bretman Rock
He was so dead.
Justice Fester
I want a kid with a unique.
Bretman Rock
Name, and he wants a clementine and a tangerine. I'm like, girl, I know you love orange.
Justice Fester
Clementine's actually kind of cute, for Clementine.
Bretman Rock
Is a cute name. But I'm like, it is not being named Clementine, girl. No. So that's why I joke around with him being like, girl, you're going to have your own kids at that point, because I'm not carrying no fucking kids. Talk about, hey, this is Mandarin girl. Mandarin what? So, yeah, no, but yes, of course we want kids. Do I want them right now? Honestly, no, because my sister has so many fucking kids. Like, I'm sure you have seen my Easter post with all those kids, my cousins multiply, my sisters multiply. My family multiplies, period. And I already have. I feel like I have such an obsessive personality that I feel like if I had one kid, I'm going to keep wanting kids. Just, like, how my family is so.
Justice Fester
In my head, I have at least 10 years. I don't have, like, a biological time Clock like women do. So I can have a kid whenever?
Bretman Rock
Yeah, thankfully. But I feel like if we were a hetero couple, we would have one by now.
Justice Fester
Yeah. Oh, yeah.
Bretman Rock
No, for sure, girl. Very much for sure. I feel like we would make such cute kids. We would make cute babies. What is your favorite pastimes or what are your favorite things to do with me?
Justice Fester
I like when we meditate together mornings. I like working out on my own. So I wouldn't say working out together.
Bretman Rock
We've never worked out together. We've worked out around each other for sure, but not together when we like, like some.
Justice Fester
Well, rarely. I'll like help Brett, like garden at his house.
Bretman Rock
You like helping around?
Justice Fester
Yeah, I like helping out when I.
Bretman Rock
Let basically because he knows damn well I rather do by myself. Yeah, because I mean, it's another thing that annoys me with justice, girl. I love that he's calm, but he a little too calm sometimes when I'm like, can you. When I. When he helps me and he takes his time. Oh my God.
Justice Fester
Yeah. It's not my time, it's Brevin's time. I'm just. I'm just. I'm just here.
Bretman Rock
No, you take your time, girl. And I see. I saw one TikTok one time where it was like God couldn't reach me. So he sent me the slowest moving man on earth. And that has to be Justice. I could not have relate to a tuck tuck tick tock more. I was like, girl. And it was his man, like checking out like at the store. And that's literally justice moving or getting ready anywhere. And I remembered Coachella. He got mad. Not mad at me, but he. He thought I was serious when I said, why do you just irritate me? And it. And it's just because, like.
Justice Fester
But at that time, I was purposely trying to irritate him by the way.
Bretman Rock
He be eating slow eating like a little kid.
Justice Fester
I was like leaning over because I think I dropped a piece of food and almost got home. Like I was wearing like white or something and almost got on me. So then I was literally like hunched over eating and staring at ravid boss.
Bretman Rock
And I'm like, why do you just irritate me? Also, I. I also learned this very early on to not watch justice get ready because it just. And I know a lot of girly pops can relate to this, but like, watching your man get ready for anything is so fucking irritating because I'm just like, why do you move so slow? Why do you do things out of order? Like, sorry, I don't see the rush, personally. What was even the question that we. Oh, our favorite pastimes. But my favorite pastimes with Justice. I don't even know why I started talking about Coachella again. But my favorite pastime with justice would probably have to be when we don't do anything.
Justice Fester
I agree. I like rainy days.
Bretman Rock
I love a rainy day. Or just, like, when you were both off and we both have an off day. Like, you guys would think that we're, like, out, like, running errands and, like, doing things, but, like, my favorite pastime with justice is literally when we're in the attic and we just have, like, YouTube playing, and we're just talking and watching the day. Like, throwing away a day, like, is probably my favorite thing to do with justice, which is when.
Justice Fester
When we first started dating, we used to, like, play a lot of, like, card games and stuff with, like, deep, like, philosophical questions.
Bretman Rock
Those are also really fun, too. Yeah.
Justice Fester
And we would just literally spend all day talking about just life, so I like that.
Bretman Rock
Yeah. I just love talking to you doing nothing. I love long drives. You know, y' all get the vibes. Justice, have you ever dated any girls?
Justice Fester
Yes. I've dated probably, like, five plus girls.
Bretman Rock
That's crazy. Well, I dated a girl, so I'm.
Justice Fester
Not that, but the most recent girl that I've dated, she actually just had another baby or another kid. She has two kids now.
Bretman Rock
She named it her favorite boyfriend ever, which is Justice.
Justice Fester
Imagine we're, like, best friends now. I, like, went to her wedding. I've been. Oh, well, she's, like, FaceTimed me after having both of her kids that she has now. Yeah.
Bretman Rock
This is a fun one. If Bretman was a flavor, what would he taste like?
Justice Fester
Skittles.
Bretman Rock
Skittles is crazy. I mean, taste the rainbow, girl. I feel like you would taste like steak. Probably like a surf and turf.
Justice Fester
I With that. That sounds tasty.
Bretman Rock
Well, that's not really a flavor, though. Let me think. Let me think. I don't know. You really have, like, a fresh man scent. I love the way you smell. I wouldn't really call it a flavor, though. I feel like a must.
Justice Fester
Ew. I don't smell. First of all, don't even get it twisted.
Bretman Rock
I like the way you smell, period. And that doesn't mean you smell bad, girl.
Justice Fester
Brett likes. He always smells, like, very florally, like, flowers and stuff.
Bretman Rock
Yeah. So, like, lavender. I feel like I would smell, like my flavor would be lavender. I feel like yours would be, like. I feel like, you know, that you know, the Scooby Doo snack, Gummy Bears. You're the blue one. You're like, the light blue one that I always go for. I feel like every time I open the Scooby Doo snacks, I always go for that blue one. You guys know what I'm talking about because it's the best flavor in there. It's that one. That's how that. I feel like, that would be your flavor. What part of your lives have changed the most since meeting?
Justice Fester
I guess I get. I, I get more recognized now, period. Obviously, when I'm like, me and Brett go out together, it's. It's not like an average person going out anymore. Like, we always have to arrive early because we gotta take time for, like, pictures and stuff.
Bretman Rock
What was the weirdest or funny recognized story that you remember about myself or about you? Yeah, like, no, like, since we started dating. Like, when was, like, the weirdest time somebody recognized you where you were like, oh, my God, you know me.
Justice Fester
Well, my, my grandma just got here. She's been here for a week. The first day she was here, I went to, like, Island Brew over in, like, Hawaii Kai, and there were two girls that came up to me with my grandma here, and they were like, hi, are you Justice? And I was like, oh, yeah, I'm Justice. Hi. And they were like, oh, yeah, I, I. We know you online. Like, can you tell Brevin? We said hi, and they asked me for a picture and stuff. I don't know, I'm just not used to that. It just caught me off guard. And my grandma looks at me, she's like, oh, my goodness, my grandson's a celebrity, period.
Bretman Rock
I feel like for me, obviously, like, having a boyfriend itself changes your life because I'm, like, less lonely now. I have a plus one. And, like, I guess, like, not to sound so deep, but, like, I am less lonely now. Like, I just have someone, like, to. To laugh with, someone to send memes with. Like, someone that is, like, you're not always available because obviously there's work and we have to respect that. But, like, when you are able to, like, you're always there for me, obviously. And, like, I don't know, not much really changed besides the fact that, like, I really just have a companion. Someone that is my boyfriend. Okay, we're gonna answer a couple more questions, but I feel like it's only fair if justice picks them.
Justice Fester
Did you guys do the meet the parents thingy?
Bretman Rock
Meet the parents thingy?
Justice Fester
Yeah.
Bretman Rock
Oh, just, I guess, like, the meat. Meeting the parents. Have you met the parents.
Justice Fester
Oh, I've met. I met Brett's mom, but he hasn't met mine yet.
Bretman Rock
Only FaceTime.
Justice Fester
Yeah. He's met my grandma now. I met everyone else in his family.
Bretman Rock
The second date, literally. Oh, no. That was, like, the second week. Sorry. He was over. And I was hungry. I don't cook, obviously. And my brother was like, oh, we're. We have a lot of food because we're catering down the road. If you want to come pick up food, like, come. And he was over, and I'm like, just this. I'm really hungry, and I really want Filipino food. At the time, I really was genuinely, like, wanting Filipino food. I wasn't, like, forcing my family into him. I was like, just, can you come drop me off at my brother's house to pick up the food? You don't got to come down. But you ended up, like, wanting to come down that day, but you were, like, all coffee out. I remember that day because you were.
Justice Fester
Like, I had, like, three cups of coffee.
Bretman Rock
No food. No, we did. You did get food. We. We had Island Vintage. We went to Island Vintage before we went to my brothers.
Justice Fester
And two of the cups of coffee were two shots of espresso. It was kind of.
Bretman Rock
So he had, like, about six shots of espresso before meeting my brother. And then by the time we were headed home, he was like, I say.
Justice Fester
Anything stupid, like, he's meeting my mom and my stepdad and my brother. Next month, we're going to a wedding back in Illinois. So. Yeah. How do you guys keep your relationship healthy?
Bretman Rock
We talk a lot.
Justice Fester
Yeah. We honestly just take time to ourselves.
Bretman Rock
We take a lot of time to ourselves. We talk a lot. We. But damage that Coachella. That Coachella there is still in your system.
Justice Fester
Yeah.
Bretman Rock
We just talk a lot, but also spend time without each other a lot. Not a lot. I mean, like, a healthy amount where, like, we still miss each other. Even after a year, I can still say I miss you, even just after a day of not seeing you. Like, sometimes I be you'd be headed to work, and I'm like, damn, I already miss him. Like, you know? So I think it's really, really healthy that we still find time to, like, miss each other, but also talk to each other every day. Mm. Like, you know, and we set our boundaries really early on in our. In our relationship, and I think that's why we don't like. Not to, like, knock on wood, maybe, but, like, we don't really be fighting like that.
Justice Fester
No.
Bretman Rock
We get irritated, if anything, and it's Just like. And we. When we do get irritated, it's more like, okay, I'll see you in 10 minutes. Like. Or, like, I'll see you tomorrow.
Justice Fester
Yeah.
Bretman Rock
Or I'll just get irritated to myself, and then, you know, I'll miss you. But, yeah, I think it's because we just have really. I went in the relationship, like, already, like, setting boundaries. Like, before we were even, like, together together. And he obviously has his own boundaries, but also, just, like, respecting each other's boundary, I think. Because I feel like if we did argue, it was, like, probably, like, me having to feeling like I had to explain my boundaries to you because you didn't understand them and vice versa. But I think that's what we did. Like, we really just set boundaries really early on, and we respect them. We spend time apart. We spend. We talk every day.
Justice Fester
I think that's something that really helped in our relationship, is we set boundaries, like, super early. We were like. But. And because we're two different people, obviously. So it was very new to us working with each other, I guess, because we had differences. But I think our differences after we set boundaries started, like, complement each other.
Bretman Rock
A little bit, for sure. So I think also this was never really a boundary for me, but it's just something that you just got, which is, like, what I do for a living. Like, he. I never felt like I had to explain Bretman rock to him or just like. Like, I don't know. You're just not insecure like that to a. Like, to a point where I'm. I have to be like, hey, I'm going to a concert today. Like, don't be jealous. Like, people are gonna be, like, recognize me. Or, like, not recognize me, but, like, people gonna talk to me and stuff like that. And, like, you don't really care, because I think, you know that I'm not a thought.
Justice Fester
Yeah, I trust. I trust you.
Bretman Rock
I trust you, too. Obviously. I feel like, also with the trust thing, like, we have eyes everywhere. Like, I don't even know if you know this, but, like, Ms. K's friend worked at the boat that you and your grandma was on the other day and texted the both of us. I mean, so it's. And not. Not just with you, but, like, with me, too, where, like, everything I do can be or will be posted online. So it's like. It's not like I can, like, go out and, like, meet guys and not have that, like, posted or something. I don't know. We don't really. We're not really insecure. Like that. Because we know we got each other. Girl, maybe two more questions.
Justice Fester
Girl.
Bretman Rock
What are you laughing at?
Justice Fester
People are stupid. Somebody said, how big is it?
Bretman Rock
Well, how big is it?
Justice Fester
There's a lot of good questions in here. Who is the most romantic out of the two? Me.
Bretman Rock
That's crazy.
Justice Fester
Me.
Bretman Rock
Okay, girl, I'll let you take that.
Justice Fester
What? What?
Bretman Rock
I feel like we're both equally romantic.
Justice Fester
Okay.
Bretman Rock
But you. You be doing. You be doing more romantic shit for sure. So that's what I'm saying. Like, you could take that. How do you feel about all my animals and my dogs and all my chickens?
Justice Fester
I love all your dogs. I love all your animals.
Bretman Rock
Is your favorite dog that I have.
Justice Fester
That's. I don't want to. I don't want to pick favorites.
Bretman Rock
They're not going to watch this.
Justice Fester
They're all my kids, my step kids.
Bretman Rock
Your step kids. Who was your first dog that you were like, period. You ate that? I feel like it was L. A.
Justice Fester
Yeah, it was definitely L. A. I think it's just because I have, like. I'm like a softie for L. A because she's the oldest and she's just so sweet, and she never, like, really does anything wrong. She. And she's also my favorite type of dog. Pitbull. I've always had a thing for pit bulls.
Bretman Rock
Last question is, what have we both learned from our relationship dating each other?
Justice Fester
That patience is key.
Bretman Rock
Why was I gonna say that you're crazy? Well, at least for me, you need a lot of patient with me. But I think for me, I learned that he is so patient with me that I have to be patient with him as well, because sometimes I'm not. Is there anything else you want to say, Justice?
Justice Fester
Thanks for having me on the baddest radio. 44.4.
Bretman Rock
I'm like, what? 44.4. Where can they find you, girl? Oh, wait, hold on. Before we do that, let's do product of the day. My product of the day is the Dr. Althea vitamin C boosting serum. I used this for the first time last year when it was viral on TikTok. And recently they just had sent this to me again. I don't even know how they got my address, but I was like, oh, my God, I forgot how much I love that. And I tried it again. They also have a green one, which I just finished, and now I'm. The green one's just, like the more sensitive skin one. And this one is like vitamin C. It's good for every skin type. And I just love It. It's vitamin C. I feel like you've also been in your vitamin C era. You should try this.
Justice Fester
They sent me products.
Bretman Rock
Pretty big. Yeah, period. They're really good. Do you have any product of the week?
Justice Fester
I don't have it on me right now, but spark, it's like a advocare. It's like, kind of like vitamins, caffeine for the day. My grandma, like, is a huge advocate for spark, so she brought, like, a bunch of spark on her trip, and I've been using it.
Bretman Rock
You love it.
Justice Fester
Yeah.
Bretman Rock
Yeah, period. You both love coffee. I remember we went to the farmer's market, and by the time you guys both finish your first coffee, you guys were already thinking about the second one, and I'm like, damn, bitch.
Justice Fester
Yeah, we have that in common.
Bretman Rock
Caffeine addiction. Yeah. Where can they find you, Papa?
Justice Fester
Instagram. Justice is king.
Bretman Rock

Their first interaction was casual, sparked by a shared drink and a night out. However, due to external influences and misunderstandings, they didn't exchange numbers, leaving their initial connection unresolved.

Bretman Rock [46:40]: "I trust you, too."
When conflicts arise, they handle them maturely—opting to take a step back rather than engage in heated arguments.
