There is an applause of this earth and an applause of Heaven. So many itch for the applause of this earth and exchange out the luster of a heavenly reward for temporary pleasure in this life. The Christian is supposed to see the grand beauty of the Heavenly Country and willingly forsake the temporary applause of earth in order to get the eternal applause of the King of Kings.
