For today’s episode, we have Malik Dancy and Chelsea Handfield, two doctors who have recently started their medical residencies in orthopedic surgery and dermatology respectively. The couple, who are actually married in real life and met while attending neighboring medical schools, talk with us about their professional journeys thus far. I spoke to them about many different aspects of their career, and so this episode you’re listening to is the first of three that will be released. In this episode, Malik and Chelsea discuss getting started in medicine, from what first inspired them to become doctors to what advice they’d give their college selves.
