Can I tell you, this is the first summer that I get to take my family river trip since I was, like, in my late teens, early 20s. And I'm so excited. We go to the. Every year growing up, we would go to Laughlin or Lake Havasu and, like, do a river trip. And I've never been able to go because I've Been working every summer for as long as I can remember. Or before that, maybe I couldn't afford to, or I had a job or whatever. Like that Pepsi commercial we did.

Oh, by the way, by the way, that was a pivotal moment in my. In my venture here in Los Angeles.

We've talked about this, but the thing that. It was a small thing, but it gave me the spark of confidence I needed to, like, stay in Los Angeles. I love that I wasn't losing hope, but I was like, my God, this is a tough town. It was chewing me up and spitting me out.

I wasn't booking anything. Wait, can we talk about acting for a second? Yeah, you got a pretty good. Like, IMDb.

I did so much work on Entourage. Uncredited because I was like, a featured extra in Ari Gold's office, and then one of the girls at Earth Cafe, and then the girl at the eyeglass shop, and then the girl at Vinnie Chase's birthday on the Queen Mary. And I mean, I was a regular extra on that show for years.

You guys being in LA, like, after 2009, when it was in its prime, it was a rite of passage through background.

Oh, my God, the best on Entourage.

I did it up at the. What's the rock and roll hotel that's on Sunset Boulevard. The iconic one across from.

We were at the Roosevelt, and they were doing a scene with Ari Gold, and me and Jax was sitting there watching in awe. Yeah, we used to do a lot of background.

It was so fun. I genuinely enjoyed doing that. Like, I gotta become SAG from all of these jobs, but I was paid at a model rate, so I was like one of the featured extras that got paid even a little more than sag. And I Got treated as if I was a cast member, and I was like, okay, this is just what I need to do with my life. This is amazing.

For people who don't know what SAG is, it's the Screen Actors Guild. Do you remember when you became part of the Screen Actors Guild?

[Sheena Marie]

Yeah, and you know what? I remember even more as well, when I had a commercial that made me have to join AFTRA literally three months before they merged. So I was out, like, an extra two grand back when. That's pretty much all we had.

That was everything to my name back then. Two grand.

[Sheena Marie]

Yeah.

I was lucky enough too, to be a part of. I was a part of aftra, and when they did the merger, I became part of the Screen Actors Guild.

I paid for both.

I mean, I don't think it's happened yet. I think it's still to come, honestly. But Jonas Brothers being the Maria the pizza girl is just so iconic. And the fact that the Jonas Brothers watch Vanderpump Rules and put it all together on Watch what Happens live one night, they're like, wait, that's her. And I've got to do Jonas Con with them. And it was just such an iconic Disney moment that I'm happy I was a part of.

I'm closest with Franklin, the youngest one. He was at my birthday party. Which you were not at.

And that's honestly what it is because I just played to a sold out crowd in London at Mighty Hoopla. There were probably 4,000 plus people at my set at 3:15pm, by the way. Okay, I had an early set and it was five hot. But that crowd went back as far as we could see. And every single person who came up to me after the show, throughout the night, we stayed and hung out at the festival was just like, so nice. So obsessed with the music and it was all good vibes. So I'm like, you know what? The people online who are behind their computer screens saying all this shit. Like, you would probably come to a show and enjoy it. Someone was like, why don't we get to hear the live version? Why do you just post this version? I'm like, first of all, this post that I'm doing the reel is a mashup of six songs that I performed. And it's like, you have to do this, and you have to have this conversation. And I'm like, now just being able to go out. Like, I was at Britney's the other day for Kai's birthday and then Jasmine's birthday and just hanging out with my friends and is good for the soul.

I was just talking about this the other day. So my first job was at Ralph's. I was a grocery bagger, whatever they're called. I don't know. And in the three months that is a probationary period, you can get fired for any reason. I get fired around day 60, and I'm like, why? I'm so good at my job. I put on my vest, I bring in all the carts. Like, I'm really good at my job. Even to this day, when I grocery shop, I will bag my own groceries because I just do it better than the people working.

No, this was in Glendora, like, back where I grew up. 16 years old. I said for my birthday, my mom picked me up from school. I wanted to get my license and get a job, and I did exactly that. I then get fired two months later. And I'm like, why? And they go, well, to be honest, you're kind of a distraction to the front. And the boys don't work as well when you're here. I'm like, what the fuck? That's discrimination.

It's bittersweet, though. It's nice to hear.

My mom calls the union. They were going to do an investigation, but then they realized it was during the probationary period, so whatever. Thankfully, me getting fired put me into the restaurant industry, because then I went around the corner and got a job at Marie Callenders and worked in restaurants until Vanderpump rules.

Speaking of the restaurant industry, what was your worst job?

[Sheena Marie]

I mean, I only worked at restaurants.

And honestly, there wasn't really a bad one.

No, I loved it. I went from. I mean, we know you have anxiety behind a bar, but I thrived. I went from flipping pies at Marie Calendars to working at BJ's serving pizookies. Then I worked at a country club. Then I worked at Chili's, and then I worked at the private cigar lounge where I got fired for hooking up with a celebrity. And then, lo and behold, Vanderpump rules in Villa Blanca, you know?

What makes me happiest is being a mom. My daughter, I mean, in every sort of way. I love doing just everything with her. Brock recently was in New Zealand for almost 10 days and her and I were just solo. She also was sick. So it was just a lot of one on one time. 24 7. But I just enjoy everything about her. I like creating things with her, coloring, doing all the fun stuff. But honestly, making music has been a really good creative outlet for me again over the past couple years. And whether I'm auto tuned or, you know, I know I can't sing like Celine Dion. I'm not trying to. No one comes to a Sheena Shay show for the vocals. Okay. I will rock my ass off and give you a great performance. And yeah, we put filters and auto tune and telephone effects because I like it. And I don't care what people think because the songs are bops and they're

Snoring. But here I'll say this. My grandma had said after my grandpa passed away that she used to be so annoyed by his snoring. But then once it was gone, she missed it. So as much as I want to just like nudge him when he snores, you know, I know one day I might miss that sound.

You have to pay attention to what I say.
