For your weekly detox with Tom Schwartz.
Tom Schwartz
Hello, guys, I just wanted to check in real quick. I'm wondering when the last time is you took a nice deep breath. Maybe we can do one together at the top here. Ready? In through the nose. Ah, just, you know what? Like, taking it easy on yourself, if only for a day. Telling your inner critic to shut up. Channeling your inner Stewart Smalley. I'm good enough, I'm smart enough, and God darn it, people like me. Sorry this popped in my head, but this week, you guys, we're going to do something a little different. I know it's only three episodes in and I don't want to lose you guys, but, like, remember, we agreed woo woo's not gonna be a bad word. I'm asking you guys, what if. What if woo woo works? I know you've seen those cheesy little posters on the TikTok shop that say, what if it all works out. I like that. So today we're talking energy healing and chakras, which I've googled, but I still don't fully understand. We have an expert coming in, but yeah, maybe we're gonna get a little woo woo. Okay, Stick with me for a bit here. Keep your third eye of the mind open. I used to roll my eyes at this stuff too, but I just felt a little stagnant lately. Some sort of emotional blockage. I mean, I'm. I'm fine overall. Happy, grateful to be alive, lucky where I'm at, but just stagnant spiritually, you know, I'm putting in the work I do. Workouts, airport beers, you know, self help books, YouTube university. Like, I'm trying to better myself on a fairly regular basis, but I just feel like I need a spiritual tuneup lately. I feel like a lot of people do. So today we're not going to just dip our toes in, okay? We're. We're diving head first into the energetic healing realm, okay? The energetic deep. And I'm not just talking about Gordo and Butters, who are chilling right next to me, my daily healers, who I love and appreciate. But we're talking chakra blocks and emotional healing. Trying something a little unconventional that might bring back some harmony, you know? So whether you're a certified skeptic or full blown cosmic tree hugger or just somewhere in between, this one's for you. Okay, this one's for us. Or maybe you're just curious about opening up your mind a little bit, trying something new. I think it's good to be a Healthy skeptic, a critical thinker. But why not? Yes. I've gotten older. Why not? Why not have an emotional support crystal in your room? Okay. I'm rocking rose quartz for the Schwartz. What's the downside? As long as you're not basing major life decisions on what your crystal's telling you, I think it's okay. What's the downside? If a little chakra cleanse can help us keep on keeping on. Let's keep on. So here we go, guys. This is a special one. I hope you enjoy it. Going to try something new here. Okay, you guys. First time ever in the Detox Retox studio.
Jacqueline Francis
It is a vibe.
Tom Schwartz
Sitting across from me is the very special, very powerful Jacqueline.
Jacqueline Francis
Thank you, Tom.
Tom Schwartz
That wasn't the best introduction. It was a little anticlimactic. Little anticlimactic.
Jacqueline Francis
It was perfect. Perfect.
Tom Schwartz
Do you want to. Do you want to introduce yourself?
Jacqueline Francis
I would love to. I'm Jacqueline, like Tom said, and I am a energy healer. So today, Tom is in for it. We are starting off with the Vibey studio over here.
Tom Schwartz
Thank you. I appreciate that.
Jacqueline Francis
We're going to move to a session with Tom. I also do a lot of spiritual advisory work, so I have a podcast where I talk about awakening and spirituality and helping people really reclaim their self worth.
Tom Schwartz
Okay. That's exactly what I need right now. I had a very strange few years, but I'm happy to have you here. Grateful to have you here. Also here are Butters and Gordo, my daily energy healers. They bring me so much joy.
Jacqueline Francis
They'll be getting some today, too.
Tom Schwartz
So can I ask you, like, how you got into this world?
Jacqueline Francis
It's a loaded question. It's. It's been a journey. I've been going down this quote unquote spiritual path for about eight years now.
Tom Schwartz
Yeah.
Jacqueline Francis
And it kind of just happened.
Tom Schwartz
Yeah.
Jacqueline Francis
I had someone very close to me pass away when I was, I think, 26, I want to say, and that kind of kicked everything off, and then it just expanded from there. I've had multiple spiritual awakenings that have been intense. One including me ending up in the hospital with appendicitis and having a kundalini awakening simultaneously. That's a whole story within itself.
Tom Schwartz
We're going to have to. We'll come back to that.
Jacqueline Francis
And most recently, just leaving a very serious relationship. And my career back in 2023 just kicked off everything for me. I started going into my business full time. I started the podcast and really just reclaiming my own worth and awakening to just Knowing there's so much more than what we know in this life.
Tom Schwartz
I love that. Do you think part of it was innate in you, or did it sort of evolve organically, naturally, through nurture, not nature?
Jacqueline Francis
That's a really good question. Definitely innate. I always knew there was something more to life. When I was younger, I just never took things for face value and I was always into all of like the woo woo stuff. High school, always looking at astrology, acupuncture. And then of course, it just kind of expanded. But as you open yourself up and you say yes to the journey, yes to knowing that there's more within yourself and to life, there's no going back.
Tom Schwartz
So choose life.
Jacqueline Francis
Choose life. Choose more. So it's a mixture of both, but it definitely was innate.
Tom Schwartz
You guys stick with us here. It is a little woo woo. But woo's not a bad word. We talked about this. Okay, for the uninitiated, like, can I just ask you, what are your chakras? Like, is it something I can blame bad luck on? Seasonal depression, not hitting my 19 parlay bets when I gamble? Like, I don't really, I don't. I know the gist of it, but can you give us like, your interpretation of chakras?
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah, I don't know if bad luck would be a thing, but brief overview of, of the chakras. I want to keep it simple for, for you guys.
Tom Schwartz
This is kind of 101.
Jacqueline Francis
101 super basic. There are seven of them and essentially they are energy centers. So you are an energetic being. The goal for everyone is to be in balance. Your chakras are what keep you in balance. So if one chakra is off, it's usually tied to a specific emotion or something that you're dealing with in life. So the first chakra is the root chakra, located at the base of the spine. This is all about safety and feeling grounded. So today when we go into our session, we may be sitting with a medicine called hape, which is a super grounding medicine. So for you, it's probably gonna activate your root chakra and rebalance it and feel super grounded for you.
Tom Schwartz
Okay, that sounds awesome. Yeah.
Jacqueline Francis
So if anyone feels like they can't be present in the moment and they're constantly thinking about the past or the future, does that sound like you?
Tom Schwartz
That was me. The past two years just floundering. Floundering, spiraling. But yeah, we'll come back to that.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah, but that's related to the root chakra, so it's just not feeling safe. Within your body and in your environment and in the present moment. So that's just something to keep in mind. Especially for women, it's hard for us to feel safe in relationships as well. And that's probably because we have an imbalanced root chakra. So moving up from there to the second, that's the sacral. So that's located below the belly button. For women, it's the womb space. This is all about sexuality, sensuality, creativity. So anyone who's, like, overly sexual, sex, sex addicts, or even the opposite of that, not having a sex drive whatsoever that's related to your sacral, probably imbalanced. So when you want to focus on it. Right. Focus on any of these chakras. When you're sitting with yourself, sitting in meditation, it's bringing your breath, bringing your awareness to the specific chakra and just picturing it coming into balance.
Tom Schwartz
Yeah. There's times where, like, a week will go by and I'm like, have I took one? Have I taken one breath? One good, deep breath? Sometimes I ask people that. Not sarcastically or condescendingly or patronizingly, but, like, when's the last time you took a nice, deep breath? Yesterday I was on set doing a shoot, and I took a whiff of a rose and it blew my mind. I know you guys are rolling your eyes right now, but when's the last time you literally smelled a rose? Because they are so fragrant and beautiful.
Jacqueline Francis
Anyways, that's living intentionally.
Tom Schwartz
Thank you.
Jacqueline Francis
That's mindfulness. So that's amazing. You should. Let's make a goal.
Tom Schwartz
Yeah.
Jacqueline Francis
Three deep breaths a day.
Tom Schwartz
That's so attainable.
Jacqueline Francis
Three deep breaths a day.
Tom Schwartz
See you guys. I told you. Baby steps.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah. And even just before bed, when you're, like, in bed trying to fall asleep, big belly breaths just to relax you. But if you can do it throughout the day, like, it's wild. People that don't breathe, I like to.
Tom Schwartz
Do the in three seconds and then hold for four, and then exhale for eight. You know that one?
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah.
Tom Schwartz
Wait, we don't. We're not a video. Let's just keep going. But I cut you off.
Jacqueline Francis
That's called box breathing.
Tom Schwartz
Box breathing.
Jacqueline Francis
I could be wrong, but I know what you're talking about. So moving up from there is the solar plexus.
Tom Schwartz
Yes.
Jacqueline Francis
So this is the center of your stomach. This is your power center, your willpower. This is your confidence. If you are overly anxious, if you feel like you're inadequate or just insecure, that is your solar plexus.
Tom Schwartz
So my Solar plexus was down bad the last two years.
Jacqueline Francis
Why is that?
Tom Schwartz
Just stress from stress, family, business.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah. So stress related anxiety, that's all. That's all. Solar plexus moving up from there. Heart chakra.
Tom Schwartz
Heart chakra.
Jacqueline Francis
This is one of the most powerful chakras, is the heart chakra. Because this is your center of love. And love, in my opinion, unconditional love is what can heal everything. It's the power behind who you are, what you want to do in life, how you move through life, healing yourself, healing the world, it's. It's incredible. So when we think of love, loving ourselves, the ability to give and receive love, that's the heart.
Tom Schwartz
So I got a lot of that.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah. Men especially blocked heart chakras because you have been told you've been conditioned ever since you were born. Don't show your emotions.
Tom Schwartz
Yeah.
Jacqueline Francis
Keep it in. That's all related to the heart.
Tom Schwartz
There's no crying in baseball.
Jacqueline Francis
Exactly.
Tom Schwartz
Wrong reference for that.
Jacqueline Francis
Exactly.
Tom Schwartz
But yeah, yeah, yeah.
Jacqueline Francis
So then moving up to the throat, this universally speaking is the most blocked throat chakra or most blocked chakra is the throat chakra. So across men and women, and it's all about our truth. So speaking your truth outwardly as well as the truths that we tell ourselves. So for women it's such, it's one of my favorite energies to dive into and like really peel back the layers and the stories and the narratives around it. But for women, we're so conditioned for, I mean, centuries to not speak our truth, to be quiet, act a certain way. For men, it's the opposite. The stories that you tell yourselves. Right. The stories that again, not being able to express your emotions. So that's why universally speaking, it's the most blocked chakra. And then moving up from there, the third eye, so the space between your forehead, all about intuition, all about your inner knowing. This is about your self awareness as well. So your ability to understand things for like deeper than they are and not just seeing something at the surface level. So really understanding like patterns and triggers and why things happen and not playing the victim and not blaming other people, that's awareness. That's self awareness.
Tom Schwartz
And not just living on autopilot, which is so easy to get into like a coasting routine. You wake up, brush your teeth, maybe get a quick workout and go to work, come home, eat, maybe play some video games, read a book.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah.
Tom Schwartz
Kick it with your loved ones, watch the new season of you, which is awesome. Have you ever just go to bed? It's so good. But it's like it's so easy to get caught up. And not that that's a bad thing, but like, I don't know, sometimes the doldrums or the monotony of that can just become. Make you kind of give you a little existential dread.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah, no, you're exactly right. And it's. I wish I knew the exact percent, but I think like 80% of the population or something doesn't have self awareness, which is really scary.
Tom Schwartz
I, Someone told me that one time they're like, your life will be a lot better if you just remember that only 20% of people have free will. And I was like, that's so. That's so misanthropic. Yeah, I don't know. That felt so bleak.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah.
Tom Schwartz
Are you guys saying that 80% of people are NPCs? No, I will not accept that. But I mean, sometimes it feels that way. Especially when you're in Traffic on the 405. Oh my God, 90% NPCs. Yep. Sorry.
Jacqueline Francis
No, that's. I love that topic. We won't, we won't get into that today. But I live in Hermosa beach and I walk the strand and I see like the same people and I'm like.
Tom Schwartz
Npc, we're saying this jokingly, you guys, but so like. Okay, so.
Jacqueline Francis
But that's.
Tom Schwartz
There's a lot of people out there who, Whose chakras might be blocked. One or all seven of them. They might be. I heard someone use the term spiritually constipated.
Jacqueline Francis
Okay, I like that.
Tom Schwartz
I kind of like that one. I do like that it stuck with me.
Jacqueline Francis
I like that.
Tom Schwartz
And that's how I've felt the past few years. But like, yeah, work. Listen, I got some work to do. I don't have a victim mentality. I just had a very, very intense few years. You know, family members in and out of the hospitals almost dying, life support, divorces, losing friggin million dollar business. It was intense. Life came at me quick, but I feel like I'm in a much better place. But I don't think I've fully processed or healed from it all. But yeah, I'm a work in progress.
Jacqueline Francis
We're all working and just to finish off because there is one more chakra. That's right, sorry, there's the seventh one.
Tom Schwartz
The seventh chakra.
Jacqueline Francis
And it's the crown.
Tom Schwartz
The crown.
Jacqueline Francis
It's above the. Above your head. And this is exactly what you're talking about right now. Kind of what we're. You're moving into, in, in life. And your journey is faith, is your connection to source, to the universe, to God, to your higher self, whatever you want to call it. But it's just knowing that everything in life happens for you and not to you, and that the journey is always unfolding, it's always in your greatest and highest good. And so even though when you go through something difficult or difficult years, it happens for a reason, and it's finding the beauty in that and being able to trust the universe and trust yourself, that's the crown.
Tom Schwartz
Thank you for that, by the way. Thank you for that. I've googled it, but it never really resonated with me. So thank you for the refresher course. That was beautifully stated and so concise. Okay, can I take a second to bridge any people rolling their eyes or don't like the word woo? Maybe bridge skepticism with a little belief?
Jacqueline Francis
Yes.
Tom Schwartz
Okay. So, yeah, let's say I'm a little bit of a skeptic. Eyes are rolling way back in my head. They're like, this is pseudoscience rubbish. Or if someone is just maybe someone's scared of like, releasing some sort of inner demons, a dark passenger, if you will. So, like, yeah, people are scared of the great unknown. Like, what's, what's. What's a good introductory way of sort of welcoming him to this world. Does that make sense?
Jacqueline Francis
It does make sense. And it's kind of what we were talking about.
Tom Schwartz
Like, what's a gateway drug to get into the metaphysical, to get into quantum healing and in chakra balancing.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah, meditation.
Tom Schwartz
Meditation. Oh, breath work.
Jacqueline Francis
Meditation, Breath and meditation. Breath work. Because it's. There's a physical element to it. It's like you can feel it, it's happening within your body. So it's something tangible. So it's like you can't really question it because you're actually experiencing and feeling it happen. Meditation is typically the gateway for everyone. And it's just sitting. If it's sitting with yourself, if it's sitting with a guided meditation, because it really just starts to help you connect to the breath, connect to your body, connect to quieting the mind. And I would say people that start with meditation, then they feel comfortable going to energy healing. And once you get an energy healing, that's like, game over.
Tom Schwartz
What's like, a good. Because, like, for people who are just too busy, too stressed, they got so much going on, they got the kids work. Like, what's a good. Like, do you know, do you have a good recommendation for like a good five or ten Minute meditation.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah. Insight Timer is a great app for people to download, and there's tons of teachers on there that can do 10 minute meditations. I. When I started years ago, I would go on YouTube and I don't know if she's still creating it, but it was meditations by Rasa, and I just loved her. And she has all sorts of meditations all different times.
Tom Schwartz
I love that. I love that it's kind of a vulnerable thing when you do these sessions with people. Have you ever had a session with someone where they have, like, a complete emotional breakthrough, like something that's almost life changing?
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah. The amazing thing about energy sessions is, as the client, you can share as much as you want or as little as you want.
Tom Schwartz
Yeah.
Jacqueline Francis
So it's like, not like going to a therapist where you have to talk about everything and open up. Like, if you're not comfortable with that, you don't have to tell me anything and you can keep it all to yourself. But most of the time, people will have a big emotional release because that's literally what energy releasing is, is through laughter, through yelling, through tears, through. So it's just showing that, like, you are blocked and you had to release it.
Tom Schwartz
Yeah. I had such a good, like, deep belly laugh the other day, and it, I felt it was as good as any. Not to diminish the great work that therapists do out there. I'm a champion for therapy. But I had such a good laugh out of the blue that I felt like, I don't know, I felt like a million bucks. It was so cathartic, and I hadn't had one in so. In such a long time.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah, it's the best medicine.
Tom Schwartz
Oh, my God. I know it's cliche, but it truly is the best remedy. Like, I, I, I just, I just was remembering back on Vanderpump Rules days, we did, like, a Reiki session, and she was legit, but, you know, when you're filming, you don't have enough time to really do the work. So it was kind of a surface level session. Also, like, it kind of became like a punchline because everyone thought our. One of our cast members, Jax, shagged the Reiki teacher. He didn't. He didn't. Just for the record, but I imagine when people are opening up to you, they. Yeah, they're feeling vulnerable. Like, do people ever almost afterwards imprint on you or, like, almost fall in love? You know what I mean? In a sense, not literally, but does that ever happen where people, like, become kind of obsessed with you? Is it a Liability in this line of work.
Jacqueline Francis
That's a very interesting question. And what I will say is, as a space holder, as a healer, you have to do your own work, especially when you open up the space to ensure that there is no energetic entanglements, because that is a thing, and that can happen. I haven't experienced it personally, but I wouldn't put it past people, especially today.
Tom Schwartz
Jacqueline, I promise not to fall in love with you.
Jacqueline Francis
We'll see. We'll. We'll come back. But I wouldn't put it past people today, especially because, like, TikTok's a thing, and everyone thinks they can do anything without doing the work. It can. It probably can happen.
Tom Schwartz
That's such an interesting note, because, like, Sometimes I'll watch YouTube tutorials and TikTok, and they're informative. I'm learning things, and I'll feel a sense of accomplishment, but I'm not putting that knowledge into action. It just rots in my brain. I hate that term. It's. It's just stored in the back of my mind in case I'm ever watching an episode of, like, Jeopardy. You know what I mean?
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah. Well, it can come in handy then.
Tom Schwartz
Well, okay, just another one on one question, and I imagine the answer is going to be, it depends. But how often do you recommend people get energy healings or come seek guidance to realign their chakra, stuff like that?
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah, it does depend.
Tom Schwartz
Yeah.
Jacqueline Francis
Personally, if you're going through something, it really just depends on, like, how what is coming up that needs to be released, needs to be looked at, needs to be healed for energy maintenance, I would say, like, once a quarter, maybe. So four times a year.
Tom Schwartz
Okay.
Jacqueline Francis
Quarterly, maybe even half that. Right.
Tom Schwartz
See, that's so. That's so doable.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah, it's a. It's obtainable because it also depends on how much work you want to do, because the work just starts when we're in the session, and then it's. It's up to you to continue doing the work after, because the energy's still going to come up once the session is closed. Emotions are going to come up. Breakthroughs will come up. So it's like, do you want to actually dive into that deeper, or are you just going to leave the session and be like, okay, well, I did the work and it's over. And that's not the truth. If you do really want to change and want to awaken and. And heal yourself, the work continues after the space closes.
Tom Schwartz
Jacqueline, wake me up before you go. Go. So. Okay, cool. And so before you do a procedure like this today we're going to be doing.
Jacqueline Francis
It's quantum energy healing.
Tom Schwartz
Quantum energy healing. That sounds badass. I mean I love, I really like the sound of that. Can you tell us just like a brief overview.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah.
Tom Schwartz
What that is.
Jacqueline Francis
So what that means is I open up the space and my main modality is of course energy. But I use my voice. So I attune to specific frequencies through sound and use my body as an instrument to tap into the quantumness of your soul. Meaning that not just Tom in this life, but Tom in his quantum existence. So Tom in past lives, in different timelines and all of that super woo woo. I know.
Tom Schwartz
No, I'm with you, but that's. You guys stick with us here. Why not?
Jacqueline Francis
That's the energy we're tapping into and through the frequencies of sound. We're going to shift, heal and awaken specific energies that want to be looked at for the listeners. This is what we were talking about in the kitchen. We know nothing at the end of the day.
Tom Schwartz
So the more I know, the less I know.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah. So if you're listening to this and you think we sound crazy right now, we know nothing, you know nothing. So everything is possible. Just open your mind and that's the number one thing to energy healing. You have to go into it open minded.
Tom Schwartz
Open minded. Do you have to have a firm belief or conviction for it to work? Like I think back, I remember in college I took a creative writing class on the Matrix and in order to become the One Neo, he had to believe. Do I have to believe? Can I be a skeptic and still see positive results from a session with you?
Jacqueline Francis
If you're a skeptic and at least you have to be open because it's energy. So if you're closed the energy, there's no, there's no opening for the energy to go.
Tom Schwartz
That's the perfect answer. You're just blocked off, it's not going to work.
Jacqueline Francis
And that's so boring. Like why do you want to go through life close minded? Why do you want to go through life sleeping and being blocked off and being on repeat and wake up and wash your face and to work and watch tv, like boring.
Tom Schwartz
Which I love all that stuff. But you got to expand your mind, your horizons a little bit. I think that comes with wisdom, life experience, losing a loved one, travel. It really helps you open up your mind. For some people, they go in the other direction and they become more closed off, which is sad. Yeah, that's you know, understandable though.
Jacqueline Francis
It's totally understandable when shitty things happen, when difficult things happen, the most difficult thing you can do is sit with your. Sit with your emotions. And so many people run away from that. They cover it up with alcohol, drinking, partying, sex, all of that stuff.
Tom Schwartz
And which is all great, but in.
Jacqueline Francis
Moderation, fun for a period of time. But we need balance at the end of the day.
Tom Schwartz
Detox retox. That's what I'm talking about.
Jacqueline Francis
Exactly.
Tom Schwartz
Emphasis on detox. Just for the record, it's so nice sitting here with you. We're about to start the session, my first quantum healing session with Jaclyn. So what am I going to. So you're going to administer, or is it so you can. Traditionally, you can do. You don't have to do anything, but you can do a little micro dose. You can do pure cocoa powder, so.
Jacqueline Francis
Cacao powder, which is the purest form of chocolate.
Tom Schwartz
Not cocaine.
Jacqueline Francis
Not cocaine. And it works to open the heart chakra, and it's really good for sound frequencies as well. Today we can sit with that. We're also going to be sitting with hoppe, which is called shamanic snuff. And basically what it is, it's ground plants, predominantly tobacco, and it's administered through a pipe that I blow up each nostril and it hits the third eye. And it works to really clear your energetic field as well as, like, really ground you.
Tom Schwartz
Straight to the third eye, straight to.
Jacqueline Francis
The dome, straight to the third eye.
Tom Schwartz
No, I don't. Listen, I'm truly excited for this, and I'm gonna fully embrace it. It. We're going to do a session, and it's hopeye. Yes. We're going to administer the Hoppe. You guys, I'm not going to record or film this because I want to commit to it fully. And I feel like if I talk through it or we film it, I won't. So I want to fully immerse myself in the process. Any last words?
Jacqueline Francis
Let's do it.
Tom Schwartz
May the Schwartz be with you. All right. Hey, guys, I'm back. I was just telling Jacqueline it somehow feels like a little Hollywood to hop back on the mic after such a profound experience. I'm gonna steal your words. Is that okay?
Jacqueline Francis
Go for it.
Tom Schwartz
I felt like, first of all, I needed that. It felt like a gentle but profound rebirth. Yeah, I liked when you said that. I had to memorize it. It sort of took me. No, but I just. I. Yeah, I don't really have that much to say. I think I have to think for a while, but. Yeah, it just made me feel lucky to be alive and grateful for all the love in my life, but also kind of sad for people who don't have such a great support system and aren't as lucky. And, Yeah, I have 99 problems just like everybody else, but I just. I just feel really lucky and grateful. Sounds stock, but it's from the heart, and universal love is the only thing that matters. It sounds so hippie dippy right now, but you guys highly recommend it. Maybe I'll take a beat and process this. I don't want to, like, analyze it or dissect it and kill it in the process, but thank you, Jacqueline.
Jacqueline Francis
Thank you.
Tom Schwartz
That was really something special. Truly not woo woo at all, because I feel like it's had a profound effect on me. And, yeah, yeah, this really feels like Butterfly effect marks a new chapter in my life.
Jacqueline Francis
I love that.
Tom Schwartz
I appreciate you.
Jacqueline Francis
I appreciate you.
Tom Schwartz
Thank you. Thank you for taking time out of your day. And I know after this, we'll clean up. I'll pay you. I'm gonna go to the Dodgers game, eat peanuts and drink a beer. But in some small way, I just want you to know, maybe like in a butterfly effect sort of way. Like I said, I think you've really, really had a major impact on me. So thank you.
Jacqueline Francis
Thank you for sharing that. That's so beautiful.
Tom Schwartz
Yeah. And I gotta figure out a better way to set up the studio because I'm like half. Yeah, I know.
Jacqueline Francis
Half on the couch. It's a vibe in here. I love it.
Tom Schwartz
Can I. Can I plug you?
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah.
Tom Schwartz
Is that okay?
Jacqueline Francis
Please.
Tom Schwartz
Will you plug yourself? Actually, yeah.
Jacqueline Francis
So I'm not active on social media. We. We talked about that. My Instagram is Aclyn Francis. I have a few posts, but I'm active on substack Aclyn Francis. My website is JacquelineFrancis.com and my podcast is called the Worthiness Codes. It's for women, but everyone can receive. It's all about spiritual awakening and really guiding you back home into your worthiness through the lens of unconditional love.
Tom Schwartz
Wow. Perfectly said. Beautifully stated. And, yeah, just thank you from the deepest part of my heart. Thank you for sharing with us, with me and you guys. That was awesome. I'm gonna wrap it up there. Maybe I'll leave another note later, but I'm gonna go and just marinate in this feeling.
Jacqueline Francis
Yeah, I feel all the juiciness, all the yumminess from that. Thank you for sharing it with.
Tom Schwartz

Hey, guys. Yeah. So that was something special. Truly. I don't remember exactly what I said right after the ceremony, but I'm thinking, Tom, don't be too precious about it. I'm just thinking, why not? It was really something special. Like, I just. I've never. The Hopai. The way they admit. Minister. Yeah. They blow it up. Or Jacqueline. She blew it up my nose. It was very intense, by the way. Not psychoactive. I never felt like I lost control, but it was intense. It felt like a spiritual sandstorm sort of blew over my. My brain, my cerebral cortex. It was. Yeah, it was something very special. Moving. I cried a lot. It's really beautiful. Yeah, I'm gonna be precious. It was beautiful, maybe even profound. And I went on to have one of the best days of my life. I had a really good day. Feel very grounded. Dodgers won, and. Yeah, just feeling really in tune with myself, you know? It's like I got a. Yeah, I think I said a hug from the universe. That's kind of how it felt, honestly. Hope I'm not losing you guys here. Thanks for sticking it with me if you're still here with me. Quantum freaking healing. It's. Yeah, it's just kind of the idea that our thoughts and energy can influence our physical health on, like, a deep, deep, maybe even cellular level. Using your intention and awareness to help the body heal from the inside out. Yeah, I like that. Should it replace modern medicine? No. Go see your doctor. Just saying it was healing. It was healing. Thank you, Jacqueline. Treat it like a. Like, kind of an extra support system or like an extra supportive layer for stress reduction or emotional well being. Maybe just a good cry or boosting your mindset, you know? Anyways, awesome. Highly recommend it. And I do feel like that was kind of a little bit of a rebirth, you guys. I'm gonna shut up. Thank you for sticking around this long, Jacqueline. I appreciate you so much. Check out her podcast. All right, I'm signing off, guys. Thank you for tuning in to another episode of Detox Retox. We're keeping it together so we can fall apart responsibly. All right, I'm signing off. Love you guys.

Detox Retox with Tom Schwartz: Episode Summary
Episode: What If Woo-Woo Works? Energy Healing with Jacqueline Francis
Release Date: May 6, 2025
Host: Tom Schwartz
Guest: Jacqueline Francis, Energy Healer
In this enlightening episode of Detox Retox with Tom Schwartz, host Tom Schwartz ventures into the realm of energy healing and chakras, a topic he initially approached with skepticism. Acknowledging his own feelings of spiritual stagnation despite maintaining physical and mental wellness practices, Tom decides to open up to the possibilities of "woo woo" approaches to achieve deeper harmony and balance.
Tom Schwartz opens the conversation by inviting listeners to contemplate the effectiveness of alternative healing methods:
"Remember, woo woo's not gonna be a bad word. I'm asking you guys, what if woo woo works?" [00:13]
He introduces the concept of chakras, mentioning his limited understanding despite research efforts, setting the stage for an in-depth discussion with his guest, Jacqueline Francis.
Jacqueline Francis, an experienced energy healer and spiritual advisor, shares her personal journey into the world of energy healing. Her path was significantly influenced by profound life events, including the loss of a close one and a kundalini awakening during a hospital visit. These experiences propelled her into full-time spiritual work and the creation of her podcast, The Worthiness Codes.
Jacqueline Francis reflects on her innate inclination towards spirituality:
"I always knew there was something more to life. When I was younger, I just never took things for face value and I was always into all of like the woo woo stuff." [05:42]
She emphasizes that while her journey involved both innate tendencies and external influences, her deep-rooted belief in the existence of more profound energies has been a guiding force.
Jacqueline provides a fundamental explanation of the seven chakras, describing them as energy centers essential for maintaining balance within an individual's energetic being. Each chakra corresponds to specific emotions and life aspects, and imbalances can lead to various emotional and physical challenges.
Jacqueline Francis explains the root chakra:
"The first chakra is the root chakra, located at the base of the spine. This is all about safety and feeling grounded." [06:57]
She continues to detail each chakra's significance, linking them to specific emotional states and personal experiences. For instance, she associates the heart chakra with unconditional love and healing capabilities:
"The heart chakra... is your center of love. And love, in my opinion, unconditional love is what can heal everything." [10:57]
Tom Schwartz relates these concepts to his personal struggles over the past few years, noting:
"My Solar plexus was down bad the last two years." [10:41]
The discussion transitions to actionable steps for listeners to engage with their chakras, such as meditation and breathwork. Jacqueline emphasizes the importance of mindfulness and intentional breathing exercises to maintain chakra balance.
Jacqueline Francis suggests:
"Focus on any of these chakras when you're sitting with yourself, sitting in meditation, it's bringing your breath, bringing your awareness to the specific chakra and just picturing it coming into balance." [08:00]
They introduce techniques like box breathing to help listeners stay grounded and centered:
"That's called box breathing." [10:12]
Tom Schwartz reinforces the accessibility of these practices:
"Three deep breaths a day. That's so attainable." [09:46]
A pivotal moment in the episode is the live quantum energy healing session conducted by Jacqueline on Tom. She explains her modality:
"Quantum energy healing means I open up the space and my main modality is of course energy. But I use my voice... tapping into the quantumness of your soul." [23:27]
During the session, Tom experiences a profound emotional release, describing it as a "gentle but profound rebirth." He recounts:
"I felt like a million bucks. It was so cathartic, and I hadn't had one in so long." [27:53]
Post-session, Tom shares his reflections, feeling grateful, grounded, and connected:
"Universal love is the only thing that matters... it's healing." [29:45]
Throughout the episode, both hosts address the skepticism surrounding energy healing. Jacqueline emphasizes the necessity of an open mind for these practices to be effective:
"If you're a skeptic and at least you have to be open because it's energy. So if you're closed the energy, there's no opening for the energy to go." [24:59]
They discuss the balance between maintaining a critical mindset while remaining open to new experiences, making the conversation relatable for both skeptics and believers.
Jacqueline advises on the frequency of energy healing sessions, recommending quarterly visits to sustain energy balance and facilitate ongoing personal growth:
"Personally, if you're going through something, it really just depends... like, once a quarter, maybe." [22:04]
She underscores that healing is an ongoing process requiring continued personal effort beyond the sessions.
As the episode wraps up, Tom shares his transformed perspective, recognizing the tangible benefits of energy healing in his life. He encourages listeners to view these practices as supplementary support for emotional well-being rather than replacements for traditional medicine.
Tom Schwartz concludes:
"Highly recommend it. And I do feel like that was kind of a little bit of a rebirth, you guys." [30:36]
Jacqueline promotes her resources for further exploration:
"My website is JacquelineFrancis.com and my podcast is called the Worthiness Codes." [30:05]
