Your hosts Dorian King and Sasha Soul review the multiple golden globe winning coming of age drama/comedy film Ladybird on this week’s episode of Disclosures Decoded. *Spoiler Alert* Ladybird is the directorial debut for Greta Gerwig (writer of Frances Ha). It's about the senior year of high school for Christine "Ladybird" McPherson who seems to pack an entire high school experience of tropes into an hour and a half long film. The film captures a variety of topics like friendship and relationships, but it goes much deeper to face suicide, depression and economic struggle. Laurie Metcalf and Saorise Ronan portray an incredible mother daughter relationship that many can relate to while also expanding beyond family turmoil.
