A
Yeah, I know.
C
I got.
A
I got my one pair. I should have brought more, but I got one pair. What?
C
Oh, these are sick, dude.
B
Okay, well, I only got one pair, too. They said these are, like, super, super exclusive limited, so. I mean, we each got one.
A
Oh. What?
B
I'm actually gonna wear my boxers, so.
A
Me too. I'll bring them.
B
I'll bring them for the actual comm and I'm gonna hit the road. I'll let you know my eta.
A
Perfect. Let me know, dude. I'll let you know mine as soon as I. Oh, this fool's coming out now. Fool. What the. Look at this, dude. Marty.
B
Bro, those are the only ones we got. These are for their commercial.
A
Well, those are the ones for the shoe. Oh, I don't have a model. 2x models are not fat. Why don't you have pants on?
C
I'm not ready yet.
A
Fuck, we're late as it is. Yeah, you gotta get on the road. I mean, I could just take them off. Oh, leave them on. Oh, fool, you already put your tick in there. Yeah, I was supposed to wear them, but I'm not putting those on now. Change of plans. I'll see you in 30 minutes.
C
Perfect.
A
Perfect, Perfect, Perfect. What's up, everybody? Welcome back to the Dope as Usual podcast. My name is Thomas Dopas. Yolo, whatever you want to call me. This is my co host, Mario Neal.
B
What's up, guys?
A
What's up? We're going to hop right into it. We've been talking, we've been chilling. Get ready for an episode, guys. An awesome episode. I'm excited. World tag team champion. Say real quick. Artist NFL star Adam Pacman Jones. Thank you for being here.
C
Hey, man, thanks for having me. Smell me.
A
Yes.
C
You know, we spelled. We spelled that a little different when I patent that. It's S, C, H, M, E, L.
A
L. Like some Jewish schmeckles. That's what it sounds like. I like it. All right, you're on a tolerance break. Let's just say that real quick. You're on a tolerance break. But you said it's okay if I.
C
Smoke in front of you and you gotta.
A
I just don't wanna, you know, box you out.
C
Yeah, can we give one of those to my partner in crime back here so she can just be laughing the whole time while we're doing this? And, babe, you must smoke that the whole time, only time we you could put this out right now. Damn, I sound like I'm giving demands.
A
You have to do this Ro. Right now.
C
Do this. Hold your breath. Long as he's smoking, you're smoking.
B
Are you able to find good weed in Ohio? Is the question.
A
It's all. Somebody gave it to me.
B
Okay.
C
Somewhere else. I just so happen to have a good friend named Burner that giving me.
A
There we go, there we go.
B
Shout out.
C
I got some clones from all say that Nice. I mean so nice.
A
That's I asked before you got here, you going to the show tonight? There's a Burner show tonight. I'm going to at the Regency. I'm going right out like right after this tonight.
C
Probably surprised them to go, yeah, oh yeah. I mean, I'm not smoking. If I come to the show.
A
It's so odd. It's like when someone stops drinking. It's like. But that's, that's because your life's up. I'm saying. But smoke is different. So I'm just taking a break. Like when fool's like, I can't drink no more. Dog don't even bring that around me.
C
Like, to each his own. But like after I retired, I smoke. I've been retired, what, six years now. And didn't miss not a day off the calendar from taking gummies, smoking weed.
A
So you're smoking and then playing.
C
Oh yeah, of course.
A
Edibles and then plant.
C
Yeah. Oh no, no, no. Yeah. The one edible that I advise nobody to take before a game is the drinks.
A
Oh yeah. They hit you different. There's water soluble. They're narcotic. We got some in my company that will put you out for six hours. And you don't want to be. It's at the high where you're like, God, just take this away from me. Yeah. I promise I'll stop for like three weeks. Weeks. I prayed so many times, made so many promises.
C
And the crazy part, this was one of our best season when you're all.
A
High.
C
And we was. It was what, 12 and 1 when they played Denver. This one we wasn't legal in Ohio. And so we as a team, about 12 of us, bought the biggest suite in a weed friendly hotel that was a block from the team hotel. And the only time we was in this team hotel was doing meetings in curfew. And we all decided the day of the game it we still gonna get high because we had a night game. It was like 8:30. And we bought these drinks, bro, I swear to God, Bro, Like, I couldn't even figure out the formation of the other team during the game.
A
Could you imagine what stress that is?
C
This was crazy. We ended up losing the game.
A
I got three picks. But it.
C
Yeah, you know what I mean? It was the kicker fault.
A
Isn't it always a kicker's fault though? Real quick? You're, you're an NFL player, you've seen a lot of kicks and a lot of games lost because of it. We. Oh, as fans, what happens once you guys get out of camera range? Are you guys talking? Are you checking this fool? Are you saying work harder? Cuz, I never. You know what I mean? Like, oh, what's it going to be in that plane ride when people lose games?
C
Like that Baltimore game?
A
Yes, exactly. Oh, yeah.
C
We on his ass.
A
Okay. Yeah.
C
You got one job to do, bro.
A
Literally one job.
C
While you in here playing ping pong while everybody else is in meetings and like, yeah, get a little hot. Like, I feel bad one time, like, Nugent missed a pivotal kick that we could have won the game for the playoffs. And Nugent was my friend. He was one of the best kickers I played with. Played at. He played at Ohio State. I just couldn't hold it. I couldn't hold it. Like, I'm like, yo, what the. Yo, you gotta be kidding me. I said way more than that.
A
That's a nice PG version.
C
Yeah, that's a nice PVZ version.
A
That's a thought that goes through every fan's head. Like, what's gonna happen? You know what I mean? Because like, we're kids. Like, you miss a shot, dummy. Get sock. Like, damn. What happens? There's a bunch of grown athletes like, I hate you.
C
They talk about a lot of hard positions. Now, I will say cornerback and quarterback are the hardest position. But being a field goal kicker, more stress. Most stressful.
A
A lot of people would. When you say the cornerback's one of the hardest positions. I agree. You had to run backwards to A.
C
That's F for it. Yeah.
B
What the.
A
This one knows where he's going. You're like, let me. I'm going to guess without touching them. Or like, you can't. It truly is. It's damn near impossible.
C
I'm saying possible.
A
I'm saying for an average to keep up with somebody backwards, like, what are you supposed to do, man?
C
And I, I don't mean this in no racist way, but that's why there's no white cornerbacks in.
A
What about strong safeties? John Lynch.
C
It's a lot of strong safeties. I Prefer. I ain't going to say I prefer, but like Ed McCaffrey.
A
Yeah.
C
McCaffrey is the best. Well, I put McCaffrey in top five running backs of all time because.
A
What are you talking about? His son, McCaffrey. I'm talking about his dad was a strong safety, though. Safety. Yeah.
C
Way two positions.
A
Okay. Yeah, you're right.
C
Way too.
A
I don't want to be racist. I love when you start. People start like that now. I don't mean to be racist. Like, oh, there's some good going right now. That's the good precursor to like. It's gonna be good.
C
But like, it's hard to go up and press a. That's. I'll use Randy moss that run 4, 2, 4, 3, and he's 6. I gotta really jam him, then turn. He already know where the he's going. I don't know where he's going. It's a lot playing and you gotta have a. Like a quick memory. You got to forget the last play even. Even if you won or lost the play. You know what I mean? It's got. You got to go on to the next play. But safety is way more different. Like every now and then, you coming down, guarding the number two or three guy, which is normally a tight end or a running back. Then.
A
Okay.
C
Or deer and headlights.
A
Yeah, I never really thought about that way. You're completely right. And there is no white cornerbacks.
C
No, I don't think there's one from Denver. What is he classified as? I think he's mixed, though.
A
Yo, can you explain this to us how to. My brother never watched football. Tall skin. That's my brother. He's never watched football. So I'm explaining football to him the past year and a half. Right. And he's into it. Where the are the fullbacks and how come they just like disappeared off the face of the earth?
C
It's the. It's the game now because everything is 3 wide. There's only a couple teams that's really going up on the center now.
A
I hate it.
C
Yeah, everything is. Is. Is passionate football. You can't even really hit a. Right now. It's only a couple teams that use the fullback. One of the best coaches. I was just gonna say that. One of the best coaches in the league. What you just said. 49ers Shanahan utilized all 11 players. And then he give you different formations every time. It's going to be a motion. Giants used the fullback a little bit this year. It's strong.
A
It's so strong. Yeah, why would people disappear? I don't understand. Or what's the formation call where Drew Brees had another guy that could be quarterback out of nowhere, Number nine. Remember that? That was unpredictable. And it was too hard, man. But that's why they were smashing, fool.
C
If you go back and look, when I first came in the league in 2005, it was power football. Now these fools are coming out. These are so fast right now. And like, I was really fast. And if you go before I came out, like Jerry Rice. I don't think Jerry Rice was. Would have been as good in our era than he was in his era.
A
No, I think it's with every sport, too.
C
All right, cool. He make every route look the same, but he ran 4, 5. Like.
A
Oh, he was not that fast. I mean, that's extremely fast.
C
But for a while right now I'm.
A
Retired, on a tolerance break, smoking a black. I'll run a four or five.
C
All right.
A
No, I get it. He's not that. Maybe Joe Montana's that good, man. I don't know.
C
Yeah, Joe Montana.
A
All right, before I get off this football talk, I was. I've been showing this full mad clips and I was talking about the fullbacks because my favorite fullback of all time.
C
Was Mike Allstot and I was a monster.
A
And Fool's don't talk about a fullback anymore. It's just gone. I don't really follow football as much as I used to. I've watched too many compilation. I'm like, are these fools betting on. What do you feel about that? I saw. I saw a few fools pull tackles in some of these clips.
C
Like, it depends on who it was.
A
Like, it was a guy from the NERS, I think number 39, a cornerback. He pulled a tackle at.
C
Like, that's a business decision, bro. Yeah, I've made a couple business decisions.
A
And what do you mean by that? Like, this was too big.
C
I'll tell you. Mr. Stoner himself at Miami. What is his name, play with the Saints?
B
Ricky Williams.
C
Ricky Williams.
A
Oh, yeah, yeah.
B
He's the only other football player we had on.
C
I had a chance to hit Ricky Williams and I'm like, yeah, you know what? I'm going to give him everything I got, guy. He literally, literally almost decapitated my head, shoulders, ribs and everything. I went to the sideline right after play. Like, yo, if the make it to me again, I will olay his ass. So y' all better figure out how he can get down before he get to me.
A
What is olay?
C
What does that Mean that mean I'm the same thing you just said. Oh, see you. But some of those guys, bro, are so big and physical. Me being 180 pounds soaking wet. 185 maybe at the max, you know, I mean only thing I could do is cut him.
A
Yeah, that's it. All you can do is cut these out his ankles.
C
And if he know I'm going for his ankles. That really hurts when he hits you on the top of the head and just keep running.
A
Yeah, because a lot of hits like bounce off like, oh, it wasn't bad. Then you see the other angles like you got destroyed.
C
Yes.
A
Yeah. That top slight angle that we get it does not do it justice on those head up hits, man.
C
Bro, like I say this, the game haven't got softer right now. But like it's still. That still hurt.
A
I believe everybody believes you. Yeah, that just still hurts.
C
I always go back to vonte is burger, which is my best friend but like nicest guy out of uniform. But once he put on the past, he is not to be with like hired or assassin. I've seen him hit. Well, I'm in the game. Like ain't no way you get enough from that. Ain't no way they hit against absolute.
A
We knocked him asleep, man.
C
He almost killed baby.
A
Yeah, he knocked his head off.
C
Almost killed baby.
A
Yeah, he rag dolled that fool. Yeah, he used to sleep before he hit the ground, I think.
C
I don't know if he was asleep. It looked like winced at me when I walked. So bro, you full of get the up.
A
Took a flop in the NFL.
C
Yeah, that happens a lot, bro.
A
Yo, they're good.
C
He did get hit though.
A
He did get hit.
C
I ain't saying he get. But he wasn't asleep.
A
It looked like he was dead. I know exactly what you're talking about.
C
Dead probably.
A
Yeah. See I can't imagine it, man, because you know when you're. I used to play football in high school. Was that, you know, a bunch of fools that are like, I'm not even in shape yet, but I'm hitting you. That's different. I can't. I mean the average person wouldn't last more than what one play in the NFL. Like not even. Not even one play. The average person couldn't stop it if. Stop. Aaron, Donald, Come on, man. There's six, eight fools out here going and can't do nothing about it.
C
I think the funniest thing is Joe's versus pro showed that.
A
Thank you. What a good show that was. That was a good show. That was a good show.
C
A chance to kill a. On Joe's verse.
A
Wait, you went on?
C
Yeah, I went on.
A
This is an old show.
C
Old show actually shout out to my boy Steve McNair. He was on there with me. Steve McNeil actually passed away like a week after that.
A
But that was 10 years ago.
C
Really showed you like. Yeah, I know everybody say they want to be in the NFL. I know everybody say, oh, I missed it because of this chance. But it showed like, ah, do you really want to do this?
A
It's a separation.
C
Yeah. It's a business.
A
Even watching the professor on YouTube school like, oh man, professor would die in the NF, in the NBA. And he's breaking fools. Like there's just levels.
C
There's just levels to everything you do a lot of.
A
But like that gets a freaking nature for being system streamer.
C
He is. But you know.
A
Well, you can't play in the NFL. No, you have. You're retired. For how long? You're smoking a black and mild. You'll wreck that kid. I don't care if he's 20 years old. Yeah, it's a. There's a difference and there's a difference. Yeah.
C
Big levels to it.
A
Okay, so before we get off football because I want to talk about something else. Who's the best receiver of all time?
C
Randy Moss.
A
I saw two people say that yesterday.
C
Randy Moss.
A
Really?
C
Yeah.
A
Damn. I always go Jerry Rice. Because I'm from California and I grew up watching.
C
I'm saying Jerry Rice really applied in my time.
A
Yeah. Yeah. And like you said, if you played now, it'd be a little different. I get it. It would be different.
C
But Jerry Rice was not Randy Mouse, bro. Randy Moss ran 4, 3. He 6, 7.
A
He's huge. He's badass.
C
Smoking a blunt photogen before you get to the game.
A
Crazy. You know what's crazy?
C
Countryism. How old are you in West Virginia?
A
How old are you?
C
42.
A
So you. You saw. You remember it then? Do you remember when we were kids and Randy Moss was like the bad guy? Yes, you remember he was like the Vikings. Oh, dude. He was a bad. We pulled out the. Well, that was to with a sharpie, right? Or no, wasn't Sharpie. Tio was a sharpie but ready Moss. We did the. He pretended to move fools. He was going to talk and now look at the upstanding man in the suit. I love seeing this change. It's getting old. Is weird. But it's weird seeing like, oh, Howie Long looks like Terry Bradshaw now. Yeah, he's Getting old. It's just. I don't know man, it's just. It's an odd time in life. We see these superstars like you see Joe Montana, he's a. He's a 70 year old man. Just different. I don't know. It's just different trip to me.
B
This is coming out on Tuesday so obviously after this weekend's games. But what's your thoughts going into the second round of the playoffs right now? Like who do you, who do you like?
C
Which game you want to go on first?
B
I'm a die hard Bills fan so let's start there.
C
I think the Bills lose.
B
Okay.
C
If you really want. I'm saying everybody is keeps sucking Josh Allen.
B
Yeah, it's a fact but.
A
Yeah, that's a fact but no, I.
B
I want about Josh all the time. I, I whine about how inconsistent like Josh has to be a hero in the fourth quarter because he's so inconsistent in the first half. Like you know what I mean? I could, I could.
C
Yeah and I'm. I like Josh Allen as a player. He can make a lot of throws but he up a lot of throws too. Now as far as extending the play, been in his shoulder getting the first down running linebackers over. Yeah, that's unheard of.
A
Full style like Bronte Culpepper used.
C
But to me this is just my opinion. Josh Allen was not better than Cam Newton.
A
Cam news one of the best quarterbacks that ever lived, the most athletic.
C
Cam Newton went to the super bowl with nobody. You Benjamin Johnson was his receiver, bro.
A
I know that is.
C
Yeah, I don't. You don't even know. Yeah, yeah, I don't know.
B
That's kind of where we're at with receivers. Like we don't really have a lot of options for him to throw to.
A
Like just throw the ball in.
C
Josh Allen had diggs these besides this year he have had three, four receivers, tight ends, a good running game with Cook like and still didn't get over them.
A
Mm, that's true.
C
Now everybody's like oh since Joe Burrow at home and Patrick Mahomes at home. Hurts at home. He's going to win it all. First four games we was talking about he was generational talent and then lose one receiver. He's like oh yeah, he's really good. Oh he's okay. He's. He's not top 10 of all time. Definitely not top 20. If you go back and just look at him have a very strong arm but he's more of just a football player than when we Talk about top quarterbacks. Now, is this the you want on your team? Damn right.
A
Yeah.
C
Damn right.
A
We always say it here. He just can't get over that. Yeah. Over the.
B
I feel like he has to find his identity. He was throwing lasers. Then he was the runner. Then it seemed like he was scared to run. Now he's trying to work in his team more. Now Cook is actually running, but it's just like, I see it in his eyes when he's not confident. You can see. It's like deer in the headlights, but. Yeah.
A
Bust out the two.
B
Holy.
A
It has been a long time since I see somebody.
B
Wow.
A
It's been so long. You're from the South.
C
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
Sorry, my bad. Interrupt. Sorry. That blew my mind.
C
Can't question his own strength, but you can question some of the decisions that he makes when he throwing the ball. He's probably one of them kids that can sit on his knees and throw the ball 60 yards. Yeah, for sure. He have on the screen.
B
Yeah.
C
I'm. I'm just. And, Josh, if you see this. Don't. Don't, don't. Don't be mad at me. I'm just talking about pure quarterback ability when I'm talking about certain things, you know, I mean, it's a reason I shouldn't say that, because you need a team to win the championship. But on every level that he's played in, like. Yeah. Do we make All Pro? Yes. Will he make Provo? Yes, but it's them 12 plays in. In there.
B
What the. Is happening? Yes. Thank you.
C
Yes.
A
It's a lot of young. He's not as young as he was.
B
Yeah, he's not super young anymore.
A
That's really what it is. And I talk because he's. Every team sucks. The Bills are the best. Like, no, they're not. Hold on. I think.
B
Wow.
A
What the. Is his name for the Ravens? How do I just lose his name?
C
Lamar.
A
Lamar Jackson's probably one of the best quarterbacks ever seen in my life and makes the same decision sometimes.
C
You're definitely high right now.
A
What? What are you talking about?
C
Lamar Jackson. Not the best quarter.
A
Sorry.
C
Hold on.
A
The best running quarterback I've ever seen in my life.
C
Better than what Mike Vick was, bro. Come on, man.
A
They're comparable, dude.
C
They're comparable.
A
Yeah, there you go.
C
But he wasn't Vic.
A
Michael Vick always won. This fool's not winning. That's the problem. Like, if he won two Super Bowls, we'd be like, he is a great quarterback.
C
I'm not saying it that way because Lamar has played extremely at a high level the last six years. I'll say even if. Even if you go back this year. He make that unbelievable throw. The kicker missed the kick.
B
Yes.
A
Yeah.
C
He just never gets the year before. He dropped them all the way down the field. Tight end dropped the ball. They win the AFC championship. Go back the year before that. Lead him all the way down the field. Throw a bomb to what's the name. He fumbled the ball in the end zone like he had made the plays to be where he should be. Up there with the guys who've been to the super bowl who we talk about all time greats but the inconsistency of the arm has been there the whole time.
A
No for sure.
C
You say running the ball. Yeah. He's up there like the is spin move and there was a lot of people did this. I ain't gonna say a lot of people but comparison is Mike Vic. That's the best comparison that I can say.
A
Like we say he makes stupid ass throws like Josh Allen does. Like. Like the game's going good and you threw three picks in a row on some. You could have ran the. Yeah that's what we're saying. Like they. They're.
C
They're good. Don't have the touch on the third and four when the game on the line and it sells a little bit when it. It's an easy throw.
A
Yeah. Just like. Like we just saw who just did that?
B
Come on.
A
Threw the pick in. Was it Josh Allen threw it right into the dirt. Yes. Like two weeks ago. Threw it in the dirt when it was wild.
B
So frustrating.
A
It just frustrates me thinking I can't do any of that. I'm like come on man. I can't even do that.
B
What do you think about Cook coming out this season like Cook has been.
C
To me Cook was. It's hard if it say as far as running the ball. He was the best running back from live mother script. I still gotta go with McCaffrey because of the that he does dude in and out of the backfield bro. This had 2000 all purpose yards. Like he's a badass. I don't know how he's video game. I don't think y' all know how hard that is to do. Like when everybody on 49ers offensive team you could haven't even showed up he down in Miami racing cars. You lose Kittle. You got no wide receivers in some kind of way. Shanahan puts him in a spot where he can get one on one with a linebacker or coming out the backfield running the ball one on one and he delivers time at the time at the time like he's got to be one of the greatest when it comes to to running back. I was looking at the stat the other day like since he been in the league I don't think it's been a year that he haven't had more than 1500 all purpose shows. That's hard to do bro.
A
It's a video game. Yeah. Yeah.
C
He really is. That's hard to do.
A
Him and Mike and him and Kevin Newton were on the same team. That was scary.
C
Yeah, it was.
A
Hell yeah.
C
All right.
A
Sorry. Last thing.
B
Who do. Sorry. Who do you. Who do you want see in the Super Bowl? What's their prediction?
C
Oh no. A lot got to do with this week between is I can't Sam Donald this haven't won a playoffs game and Jesus Christ he almost tricked it off the last time he played against him. Couldn't even hand the ball off. So if. If the Seahawks can get Sam Dornall to win one playoff game. I think this is the year that the Seahawks win the championship.
A

C
So that was one of the best time of my life, bro. Like I was a spinner that year and they just thought I was just gonna sit at home and chill and it's another sport. Shout out, shout out to my wife. She's like, what do you want to do? Like you just gonna see her? I'm like, well, maybe we could just go travel. She's like, why don't you wrestle? Don't you like wrestling? And at that time I was a big ass wrestling fan. Like Sting has been my all time favorite.
A
Sting is your favorite since what, what was it? What was it? WCW days.
B
Damn.
A
That's when the crow came out. So I was like, what? It's like the crow. That fool's do this thing. Damn, that fool was cool. He come up from the top with his trench coat. That feels scary.
C
So we made a, we made a pitch to TNA that I wanted to wrestle. They gave me a million dollars to win the championship and not even get touched. Like this has got to be one on one marketing. Like how in the do we mentally put together a script with me and Ron Truth could be tag team champs and you don't get touched one time.
A
Also here's a billion dollars.
C
Which was crazy wrestler dude to see, to get to see Papa Punk. I mean like Kirk, Kurt Angle. Kirk Angle.
A
Jeff Hardy.
C
You know it. You know your Steiner brothers.
A
Oh, both of them were scary. But Scott Steiner, right? Oh, he passed away.
C
Yeah, yeah, we. It was like when I first walked in, I was in like a kid mode, you know what I mean?
A
And I would be.
C
They treat me like I'm the stupid. So I'm like, no, no, no, no, no, no. Hey man, how you doing? He signed this for me. To you what weird feeling experience was. I would put that up there with me getting drafted because like I grew up watching wrestling and only sports. Like I'm not one of them guys that can tell you nothing about a movie sitcom. Now some of them I can like boys in the hood, this and that. I'm not a video guy. I don't play video games. Like, my life was way too fast for that. But I would find the time to watch Monday Night Football. All the games and wrestling.
A
Monday Night Raw. Yeah, that started that.
C
Shit was crazy.
A
I'll be there trying to do swan time I've talked about. I did the Swanton bot. Almost broke my neck in my living room. I landed on top of my head, I couldn't move, and I was home alone. So the worst 30 minutes of my life, man. I was like, damn. I was thinking about Jeff Hardy. Matt Hardy. Like, I really thought I was tight.
C
And then a lot of people think. A lot of people think that. That wrestling that you don't have to be in shape. That's cap as, bro. Like, because when I was first signing up for, I had a ring outside of my house. Lights, everything. Yeah, well, I was practicing in the Midwest, right? Yeah, in Tennessee.
A
Oh, in Tennessee.
C
Tennessee. Had a ring everything, likes, outside of my house. Because I was practicing to get touch. And then the NFL was like, you can't wrestle hurt. Then it's like, well, you can't get hit.
A
So that's how you did it.
C
So that's how we had to maneuver the whole script. Because at first and like, years later, after I retired, you see me with 10 a jumping in the ring, slamming the. And I had never practiced since that time. And I still knew, like, the little keys. All right, but you hear it. Boom, boom. That the tells. Yeah.
A
Like, what's coming up next.
C
Yeah.
A
I always wonder how they did that.
C
That is. Is. Oh, preparation, bro.
A
It's a lot.
C
We have to really get hurt. Oh, I know that tear. They will find you if you hit the person with, like, the boat. Like, you know, you gotta hit both with the middle part of the chair. Now, you knock him out, that's on him. But if you hit him with the upper part of the chair, it's gonna be a fine.
A
Oh, that's how that works. Yeah. What about, like, what was that one? You know what I'm talking about? That one wrestling federation where they. The Dudley boys would come out with cheese graters. Yeah, what was that? That. That nasty ass wrestling league where they would barbed wire themselves.
C
Oh, well, that happened in TNA too. What's the big dude name? God damn it. He lived in Kentucky. I can't think. What's his name? Not Undertaker Bis. This.
A
I don't know.
C
It is a business in 10 a big. This about 7 foot tall, but he was crazy, bro. He would, like, let people cut him with glass. Like, that was real. Like, real. Like cut me.
A
Yeah, it's nasty. They keep it in there and when they get the ground, they slice their face. Yeah, they come up leaking. Oh, I used to watch when I was a kid. The Dudley boys were back then, man, they would do real cheese grater to people. Their forehead.
B
Ah.
C
And this is a friend of mine too. The next day he like comatose because all of the. That he would let people do to him, but got paid a lot of money to build. I think he's doing. He's doing storytelling now for wwe. Like, he's one of the biggest writers over there with them right now.
A
But yeah, storylines. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. We had. What, Bianca Belair. We had him on in here. They're so fit. It's just, it's like, oh, you guys are superheroes. I understand. I went to my first wrestling WWE recently. Nah, I don't care what anybody says. Those fools are flying 15ft in the ground. It might be not punching in the face, but do that. How do you fake it? You don't.
C
You just hurt too.
A
You just get hurt and play it off. You gotta be a good actor.
C
Yeah.
A
Nah, I'd be out there.
C
You gotta be used to doing it. Like, Like, I got so much respect for these guys. Like, even like Pat. Pat is like one of my closest friends. He jumps off these high ass cages with. Really athletic. Remember he was a kicker, though.
A
And you're talking about Pat McAfee.
C
Yeah.
A
So he's wrestling now. I knew he was on the side doing the commentator.
C
Yeah, he in there too, the big kicker. I called him right afterwards. Like, how your body feel, buddy, you pack. I said this wasn't the football game. Was he like, no, no, no, no, no, it wasn't. No pun on this. I was getting funny.
A
Like, would you compare it to getting smacked?
C
Well, football is different.
A
And like after, like on one game, one full wrestling match, you think football is probably worse.
C
Way worse.
A
Okay, okay.
C
Like football is. It's a car wreck every play.
A
It true. It truly, it truly is.
C
Especially in the trenches. Like every play you're hitting somebody.
A
I. I think a lot of people don't. They overlook them because they're like, they're not big names. But that O line D last. It is scary in there, dude. Fools are punching you in the chest doing whatever they can. Yeah.
C
You just do this. I want you to do this. Take your head and run into that wall 85 times and see how you feel after that.
A
And if the ball comes out Dive on that under 16, dudes.
B
How bad is it at the bottom of the pile? Is it like.
C
Oh, she happens at the bottom, grabbing nuts, poking, spitting. Like I've grabbed nuts in the homo. I have grabbed nuts.
A
Just.
C
I did a whole bunch of dirty.
A
It's to get them to drop the ball like when they're fighting for it or what.
C
Well, if the ball is loose, you.
A
Do whatever you can to get it. Yeah.
C
You get what I'm saying?
B
How brutal are you talking? Is it constant?
C
Is it only sometimes me personally, I don't shut up. Yeah. And I used to go through the game, the pregame thing, and I would just look at like, he look a little soft. Oh, Google, what's his mama name?
A
Oh my God.
C
Got his. Oh, is he married or not? Not married. Oh, this guy right here, his girlfriend of thought, man, you know I hit your girlfriend two years ago. Da, da, da, da. Like when we was playing, bro, it was like, it was a. It wasn't no limit about respect on the field. Now after you get off the field, hey, look, bro, hey, man, everything I said, hopefully you ain't take it that way, but you get what I'm saying. I wasn't one of the guys that would go back and apologize or even say anything.
A
Some people do apologize and I never have. I love that you clarified that shit after that.
C
People do apologize, but everybody who know me and know, like I'm very loving and caring, but once I put on my equipment, once I walk out the tunnel, even for Walmart, like my cousin, my blood cousin Rashad Jones played with the Dolphins, like I would never speak to him before a game if we playing against him. That's just how it is. That's how it was for me. It's not like that way for everybody, but it was almost like, shit, we finna go to war right now. I can be nice, but once we get in between these lines and once I walk out of this tunnel, I got a right to be an and that's how I carry myself from Lily Middle school, high school, college and the pros. And I think you can tell some of the guys that carry themselves, like Ray Lewis was one of those guys, Dawkins was one of those guys. And it's nothing personal, but once you can create that on and off switch, I think help you play in the long run. You know what I mean?
A
Of course.
B
Was it real obvious when you were little that you were going to be a superstar?
C
Yeah.
A
You knew?
C
I knew. I never thought about doing nothing else when you Start playing six years old and, and like everybody in the projects new too. Like I didn't get to go up and smoke weed, sell dope and just.
A
Playing football the whole time.
C
Football, basketball, baseball, track, all of that. Like in my house was the house to get whatever you wanted from.
A
Oh, okay, okay.
C
The people in, where I grew up, in Bankhead Court, Boat Rock, like the people around us that was a lot older was like, nah, you're gonna be the one that make it out of here for us. Yeah, even when you're, Even when I was a kid, bro, I had 34 touchdowns in 10 games.
B
Jesus Christ.
C
And as, as what, under 10, eight years old. Yeah.
A
You see these videos now I'm like, in 10 years I'll see this kid getting drafted.
C
Yeah, my son just had, what do you have, 14 touchdowns in four games. That like, some you could just see. Like, if this kid stay healthy and stay on track, he gonna be all right. You know what I mean? And I was just so. Having to be exceptional and not just football, I was, I thought I was better in basketball actually, but I've never thought about working a nine to five. I've never. You know, some kids get summer jobs. Nah, that ain't for me.
A
What are you doing on off season?
C
Playing au basketball, playing national championship. Like, I had no job. I had a job. One time my, going into my freshman year, I worked at Crystals for. What's that, six days. It's like a White Castle, a burger place.
A
Oh, okay. Six days. You get fired, you quit?
C
Well, kind of both.
A
Yeah.
C
I was already quitting though, so the first two days was cool. I'm like, damn. Making burgers. Boom, boom. I was looking around, I'm like, what the am I doing here? So I called all my boys from the project. So I'm like, yo, I'm quitting this job on Friday. I'm just gonna get my first check. If. How many ever burgers y' all want. Just come up here doing five and between three and five o'. Clock. And I probably gave away a thousand hamburgers doing that time. And then Friday got there, I got my check.
A
No, you owe us 1500.
C
Forgive me. Took the whole register, whatever was in the register, and never worked part time return work.
A
Actually I robbed a place or I got my check and I, I bankrupted them of their food. Dude, could you imagine the guy you hire for a couple days robs you and.
C
Well, I didn't really.
A
Where's the thousand hamburgers at?
C
I just didn't, I just didn't Ring it in the computer. So, like, I feel you. I was the dude taking orders. Boom. All right, what do you want? Boom, boom. I wanna six crystal with cheese. Friar. All right, $10. How much is it? $10 flat. Come around, make the burgers. Boom, boom. 10 flat. So I wasn't, like, putting in the orders.
A
Let's go around.
C
Depending on how you classify.
A
Yeah, well, I. I feel.
C
I thought it was being a smart businessman at that time.
A
I sold weed. And when I did was like, sometimes I'm like, oh, I'm out of weed right now. Let me get weed. I worked at a pizza spot. But, hey, you want two pizzas? Give me a eighth. So I. I feel you.
C
I understand.
A
It's. Both of that is stealing. I think it. Dude, I had jobs since I was a little kid. I'm the opposite. I've had jobs since I was a little kid. Going, like, I don't know what the I'm gonna do. See, you knew what you're gonna do. I had no idea. But I played sports, but not at that level. I was the. The kid might go put bags on full, make weight, go run around the track for the game. You know what I mean? Like, I. I was the captain of the line my whole life, but always like, you're too fat.
C
Yeah.
A
That was really it until I got to high school. Like, weight doesn't matter. You're gonna weigh in no more, Right? And then it was different.
C
Yeah.
A
Then it was more fun, but then I found drugs.
C
Dude, that park ball is different, bro. Cut that weight. You playing 180. You win 200, you gotta cut 20 pounds.
A
I was always four pounds over.
C
Yeah.
A
Like, half an hour. Four pounds only once. I never made it. I was like 6 ounces over. They let me play.
C
That's what's up.
A
But other than that, dude, like, I'm from the Central Valley. We don't. We don't really have athletes. Like, I mean, we have athletes, but damn, dude, drugs and having kids really up, like, people kids. It's. I'm gonna have to stay. I'm not gonna go.
C
Yeah.
A
I'm gonna go college here, and then I'll try. And it never goes, man. That's the only bad with Jalen Green's from my town for basketball.
B
Kaepernick, right?
A
Oh, Cap, he's not from my town.
B
You got Ray Allen. The only.
A
The only cool football thing I ever did, man. I. I never get sacks. I'm not fast enough. But I'll bust the down quick and then chase somebody into somebody Else and they get the tackle. And I'm just sitting there going, you know, all eight years I played this one time we did a film for a. A team or a freshman. Like, film don't do film yet. What the.
C
We was doing.
A
We weren't. We, we don't. We're not serious though. You know what I mean? We've never watched film. Like, come on, don't try to be cool and watch film like, this quarterback is very good. Like we are freshmen.
C
Calm down.
A
You know, I'm like, I'm 13, calm the down. And this fool came out like six one a slight stubble. I'm like, you're 14 years old. And back then I was benching like, you know, I was doing 3, 15 squat 4. I was a little, a little beast back then, you know, I was the nose tackle. And I remember it was right toward the end of the game, like, we're gonna win. We have perfect seasons. Only lost. We lost. But I went to hit this fool. I'm like, oh my God, he doesn't see me. I'm gonna get a sack and win the game in my head. Like, yeah, I hit this fool with everything I have and he does the quarterback. The and flicked me off. I flew, I tried to hold on and nothing. Well, ran 70 yard touchdowns and we lost, right two, three of my homies talking to me on the sideline. Their second third string. Them, they would talk to me for three years straight over that because I only lost. Here comes the NFL draft and they say from what school I go, what school? I'm like, that's that. It's Kaepernick. He's right from my town. So the only time I ever almost got a sack was on Kaepernick. And I think it's worth talking about. It's only worth talking about sometime. Anyway, as soon as he was running. Nah, that's an NFL quarterback. That's not my fault. Yeah, that kid. No, that kid. And then I saw him later go, that's the same kid. And he's a monster. Yeah, so it's not my fault. I was on drugs. I was doing drugs. And I'm not an athlete. I just happen to play football. And you know, that's different. You imagine me trying to tackle him. That's not fair, dude. He takes it serious. So we're both. Oh, speaking of, I like this question. I like to ask people this question. You're the perfect guy, 16 year old version of you walks in and tries to fight you. Are you gonna beat the out of.
C
Him or is he gonna win right now?
A
Right now, like another universe. 16 year old you walks in, what's up?
C
Beat the out of him right now.
A
All right, we every athlete says it too.
C
Like I still work out, I run miles, I lift weights, I'm in the sauna at least three times a week. Besides this week, I've been chilling this week, this is my week off. But like I stay ready so I don't have to get ready. And you gotta realize like I got all kids that's in my house that are superstars.
A
Like, how old are your kids?
C
So where my other kids, they just went to college who are adopt Action man was at modern day. He was number one receiver in the country who just went to Ohio State.
A
Oh yeah. Did you have grown kids?
C
Yeah.
A
Okay.
C
And these are. My daughter is at Mississippi State, one of the fastest kids in the country. She run it two to one in the four by one. My middle daughter trend is top 10 in Ohio. She just ran eight, one into 60 as a sophomore. And my youngest son, Junior, this runs 13, nine in 100 right now. Well, he ran the last year at seven years old.
A
I'm gonna be rich forever. That's all I heard right now. I don't have to do anything ever again. My kids got it at seven years, man. I'm running it at 24 and I've got 30 years on this kid. Damn it. Okay. All right. So you got four superstars. Yeah, the kids actually you'll be hearing about them very soon.
C
Very soon.
A
All the news.
C
Yeah.
A
That was awesome. I didn't know that. I have zero kids. He's got three and one of them is little McCaffrey. This kid is gonna be in the some type of sport. I'm calling like you said.
C
Yeah.
A
Since this kid was five ago. That kid's gonna be a athlete.
C
Yeah.
A
I don't know what it is about his son. He's just. When I met Marty five years ago during COVID his son had his own workout routine at 5 and 6. Yeah. And there was no weight. So this kid like a prisoner was putting laundry on the broom and I. He walked in, this kid hitting this at six in the morning. I'm like, is that really your son, dude? And now what does he do? Like, yeah, scored six touchdowns and it's too easy. It's like this kid is. I like seeing kids with potential and go, just don't this up, dude.
B
Like, what do you think? Is it like get him a personal trainer. Make sure you move to the right high school. Area or like, do you not have to be all insane about it? It's just going to happen if it's going to happen.
C
Well, me personally, I'm not insane about it. Like, you know what you got and like, you can tell by the work. Like, I have to tell my son, like, yo, chill the up, bro. Like, when we was just around here, he's like, where's that you got he in the middle of the living room. Crossover. Crossover shooting. Like, I think and I might have it a little bit easier than you because I had a chance to play at every level and be pretty good. And I think when you have kids that see. See that, it's more of all right, I want to be better than that. Then an internal bit harder, I would say for parents who don't got offense, no film, and of course either got hurt or living through their kids. I don't know if I'm saying it right.
A
No, I get it.
C
Yeah.
A
Yeah.
C
But I don't even let him, like. Like, I want him to be a kid too, though. You know what I mean?
B
That's where I'm at with it too. Like, I'm not.
C
You gotta enjoy yourself sometimes. But this little, like, enjoying himself is competing. Like when he have all the boys, all his little teammates at the house, and they want to rob go cars and four wheelers. Junior don't want to do none of that. Like, and we got 10 go cars, 10 four wheelers at the house. He rather go out there and play one on one in basketball or do some football drills and like, it's just. I don't know, it's in them.
B
Like, do you worry about like, CTE and stuff like that?
C
No, we all got cte.
B
Like, one of my good friends from high school played in the NFL for a couple of seasons. He played for Ohio State. Doug Worthington, I don't know if you know him, but like, I've seen him post about a lot of his friends, like having like a lot of really serious, super serious issues with the CTE and chat. Is that like, way bigger issue with the players than people really realize.
C
I think anybody that hits somebody for that long of a time are gonna go through something. I have friends. Marion Barber was one of my closest friends and God bless him. And this a guy that would be after the game playing a piano and can play every key. And then it's some just clicked, you know what I mean? And sometimes it'd be something you're going through. It could be financial, it could be your significant other.
A
It could be.
C
It's a lot of that that plays in into the cte. Like, do I think I got it all? No way. My. This is not all like a normal person. Like, I'll be lying like a motherfucking saying that I don't have time where my just go like, what I'm like, damn, what the am I thinking about? Like, why am I thinking like a daydream? Not really like a daydream, more of like a real dream like you see play out. Like. Yeah. And thank God I do have the support system around me and like, not scared to be vulnerable, to talk to people about what I go through. You know what I mean? I went. I went to McLean Hospital, which is in Boston, which is the. The best and biggest mental hospital there is in the world. But you get some people that's scared this worry about what people are going to say, going to judge them, and then they get to a point where it's old women to the person. And then that's when we have a lot of crazy that be going on.
B
Like Aaron Hernandez or is he not a good example?
A
It's irrationality. Right.
C
I don't know if Hernandez is a good example. And the reason I say that is because that was more of a session. Like he got off by doing some of this, then more of having a problem. You get what I'm saying? Yeah, like, it's a lot of guys that's done played in it have a problem. Then, oh, yeah, I'm jacking my dick at the. I shoot somebody. Like that's more of a weirdo session, you know what I'm saying? I don't know if I'm sending you.
A
Oh, no, no, I get it. It's more like you were off before you play full.
C
Yeah.
A
You were destined to be a little off. Yeah, no, I get that.
C
Yeah.
A
That's just something that's. That's so. That's a. So prevalent in. In sports. But how do you feel about that big helmet, that cushion?
C
I don't. I don't like it. A guardian cap is nothing, bro. There's nothing that's saying that a guardian cap is more safer than a regular helmet. That's.
A
Yeah, I see. It looks hilarious.
C
It looked dumb.
A
It looks like when you get the big heads in NBA Jam.
C
Yeah. My son tried to get me to get him. I'm like, you're not wearing that, bro. That don't save you from no concussions.
B
Yeah, your brain is slick.
C
You're still hitting somebody, bro. Yeah, still hitting somebody.
B
It seems like such a weak attempt at like, okay, we're doing something to try to like not make it so.
C
Bad and it's heavier on your head. On your head. Then you got to worry about neck surgery. Like, it's, it's nothing. It's nothing that's telling us.
A
Back up. Yeah.
C
Or play soccer.
A
Play football. Football. Okay. I have a question. You talked about your music earlier and it was at National Street League Records, it's called.
C
Yeah, that was my first label.
A
The first attempt at it.
C
Yeah. How?
A
Okay, you're working out, you're the NFL, you're traveling, you're doing, I don't know, pro. There's another question before I forget. As an NFL player, if you're in a Circuit City that's old, as if you are in a Walmart commercial, is that in your contract? You gotta, you have 15 appearances or it's like some extra sponsorship.
C
That's extra sponsor.
A
Okay, so because you have like. Why are you guys doing all these commercials always? Is it like in the contract at State Farm you have to do this.
C
All that's with the marketing.
A
Okay.
C
NFL don't have nothing to do with even your shoe deal. Like if you got Nike, Adidas, Reebok, that's all separate.
A
I always wondered that.
C
Only thing the NFL doing is making sure your ass come and play. So anything as far as contract wise while you playing. And that's not appearance, none of that. I'm talking about appearance is the game in practice.
A
Got you.
C
That's it.
A
Okay, so you're doing all right. You're doing all that you're doing, say your sponsorship deals, you have kids, you're going to games. How on earth are you finding time to make music in between all this?
C
Oh, it's not that hard.
A
Like, I figure, like, your schedule's packed.
B
Yeah.
C
Even right now my schedule's packed, but I got a studio in the house. You know what I mean?
A
There it is.
C
So certain days I block off what I want to do. Like, and that's not being selfish. Like, my wife does it the same way. She gonna get her hair, her nails done, go shopping. It's. It's not that hard to balance as you think it is though.
A
I just feel like an NFL player is just all day every day. I'm gym, I'm working on my eating.
C
I'm doing off season. Right? So a normal day is 6:00am to 6:00pm p.m. nFL. Yeah.
A
So you're, you're at, you're there at 6.
C
At 6. See, they don't tell y' all that.
A
Damn, that sucks.
C
6:00Am To 6:00pm all day, every day.
A
All day, except for game day.
C
Except for the day you travel and the day before the game.
A
Are you getting there two days early?
C
No. So it depends on where you're going, if you're going on. If we in Tennessee, we come to West Coast. Yeah, we get there early. But if we in Tennessee going to play the Falcons, we fly out Saturday morning.
A
Gotcha.
C
Fly out Saturday morning. First you get there, check in the hotel. Two hours later, you got meetings. Then you get off for like 11 o' clock that night. 11 o' clock, curfew, Boom. Straight to the stadium, play the game, leave, go back, gotta be back at the stadium. 6am Monday.
B
God damn. 6am Monday, right?
A
With a full game.
C
Give a win, lose a draw. 6am Monday. Tuesday's your off day.
B
How bad is the pain on Monday? Can you barely walk?
C
Every time it's bad. Like it's recovery day. Nah, hell no. You're gonna do a jog through, you're gonna lift weights on Monday, all of that. But like, once you're about to get accustomed to it, I didn't start feeling like, like, God damn, this is hurting me. Probably to year 8, but my body was way different than a lot of people too. I played with some people that as a rookie, they was, they was dead on Monday, you know what I mean? The linebackers, the linemen. Like, that is a real beating on your body.
B
Is there any like, creatine or is there any you take that helps that or.
C
Nah. Cold tub. Cold tub, ice stem, autumn supplements. They cool, but they don't help you. They can't, they can't cure the pain.
A
Sorry. All right, so. So back to what I said you do have time to do. Because that schedule doesn't sound like you got time at all to make music. So you're talking about only off season you're doing.
C
No, during the season.
A
So like after six, you get home, you're like, studio sign. Yeah, damn.
C
Give me dedicated two, three hours in the studio.
A
Boom.
C
Depending on what day it is. Getting a massage, something to eat. Back up at six.
B
Is that. That discipline just comes natural and super easy.
C
Oh, well, I don't know. For everybody else, you're an athlete. For me, it did. Like, I would be a magic city in the strip club, right? And lead the script club in a limo and go sleep outside of the stadium and be the first one in there. Like my was a whole lot different. Like my mentor was like, all right, yeah, I had a Great time last night, but I gotta get my ass back to work.
B
You're the only one rocking it like that.
C
One too many.
A
I think it's real funny to see somebody at strip club. Two hours later, this motherfucker's on the field.
C
Yeah.
A
Warming up. That's crazy.
C
Yeah.
A
So like, I, me and my wife go to strip club. That's like all we do when we go to Vegas. There's nothing else to do do. And all I've heard, I've never been to Atlanta. All I heard that Atlanta is.
C
You haven't been to Atlanta. 100 cooler, bro. You got to come with me.
A
I heard it's way cooler over there.
C
My wife family owns Magic City.
B
Oh.
A
Wow.
C
Yeah.
A
That's awesome.
C
Yeah. So. And like, it's a party, bro. Like, Vegas suck, bro.
A
Does it really compare to.
C
This is nothing that's such.
A
That's so cool to hear. Like, because I thought that was it. Like, this is Las Vegas. This is like this.
C
It's like. How do I explain it? It's like going to a bad private school and then going to a good private school.
A
I've never been to a private school, but I can understand what you're saying.
C
Let me use another term.
A
Like, it's like people sipping wine coolers versus taking shots. One's more mild, one's chill.
C
What's them little fast cars they got out right now? It's like, what them is gtos made by.
A
No idea.
C
Who are they made by Nissan.
A
Okay.
C
Very fast car. Look very good. But it's not a Lambo. And that's a Atlanta. The strip club is a Lambo. Way better now in Vegas.
A
It looks cool. It's all right.
C
It's like a soup duck cookie cut as hell. I'm talking about, like, you don't even get. Get food. Really? In Vegas.
A
I'm going say this right now. I don't ever want to eat at a strip club in my life.
C
Me.
A
Who? Hell no. And I talked about this.
C
You tripping, bro. Bro. Bro.
A
Nope.
C
I promise to God, if you come with me to Magic City and eat this chicken. It's like chicken cheese broccoli over white rice. The wings are cool. Best wings in the world. But when it's. It's bro. It's cleaner. The strip clubs in Atlanta, I mean, like, even if you spill a drink, it's on carpet. The come clean it up.
A
Yeah, it's not like that over there.
C
I've been dropping the whole drink on me for three hours.
A
That's just still on the floor. Okay. Because this is my idea. I'm like, oh, hell yeah. Eating. There's an ass in my face.
C
Like, oh, no, no, no, no.
A
Like, I can't imagine myself.
C
The girls know it's a cold. It's an ethic In Atlanta, as soon.
A
As he picks up that sandwich, you stop twerking on it.
C
You better.
A
Because there's a place out here called Sam's Hofboro. Hofbra or whatever. It's a strip club. First time I walked into that place, I don't know if you've seen this. I walked in and there was this lady dancing in front of a table, shaking her ass right in front, eating a full size burrito.
C
Oh, that ain't gonna happen.
A
A full size.
C
They will. Get your ass up out of there immediately. That'd be your last day working.
A
That wasn't even. That was just the first way. Okay.
C
This is disgusting.
A
Thank you.
C
That is disgusting.
B
Thank you.
A
When I walked in, bro, but she's eating a burrito with two hands.
C
No, I don't.
A
It was just weird.
C
Well, you wouldn't even want. I wouldn't want my wife at home dancing on me eating a burrito. Damn. Yet in the club.
A
That's so weird, right? Yeah, but like, you eating is so different. That's why I associate it with that in Atlanta.
C
And let's just say, first of all, when they bring my food, she is immediately gonna back up. It's like a five. Five foot rule. Like, oh, this is like a rule? Yeah. Oh, you know.
A
Oh, see, that's totally different. You know, it's just. To me, it's like, damn it. Oh, yeah. Back up though. I ordered a sandwich. It just makes me laugh. Like the. To the scenario.
C
You only have to tell them to back up. Yeah. It's like, I've never seen that.
A
We don't eat food here. Like I've never seen. So I have. Remember that bit I did? I was like, yeah, it's the next thing you want to do. Giftfuls. Because they do steaks and you give drug horny assholes knives to that. Don't really like them. Something's gonna happen. It just sounds like the worst thing ever. Hey, this drug's like, give him a knife. What the fuck?
C
Well, first of all, the girls don't give you shit. The girls are only in there for one thing. One thing only is entertainment.
A
Yeah.
C
They should never be passing you forks, napkins, drinks, none of that shit.
A
Like a Medieval Times. But they give. Walk around with this crazy.
C
All right, I'LL go to Atlanta.
A
I'm supposed to go soon.
C
You let me know when you go. I'll meet you there. And I promise you, it'll be your whole outlook of the strip club eating. It'll change.
A
I come back all stoked by die eat at every strip club now, even if they don't allow it. Can you smoke weed there?
C
Yes.
A
Okay. Yes.
C
See, that's why y' all on this boozy out here. Same way in Vegas, you can't do nothing. In Atlanta, you can smoke everything. Like, it's not a strip club you can't smoke in.
A
Yeah, we're not doing it right over here.
C
No, you're not.
A
So why is it. Why is it one if your family owns it? Just make one out here. Make it cool.
C
Well, it's different laws out here too. You know what I mean? Alcohol and smoking don't mix here.
A
I won't say where, but there is a nice strip club that has a smoking room now.
C
Yeah, maybe a smoking room.
A
Smoke weed in there.
C
You got to go all the way to the bag and outside. Damn near the smoke. I'm talking about right here. Where we at? Hey, Boom. Let's go, buddy.
A
I don't know why, man. Me and my wife were in Vegas last. Last week, and we're sitting there, we both look like I could do this forever. Check me, too. That's why I love you so tight. This is the most fun we can have. Like, right? Yeah. Hit this pen. But don't let him see me at the pen because they're gonna kick us the out.
C
You think you'll have fun there? You definitely gotta come to Atlanta.
A
Oh, I'm so.
C
And you gotta bring the cameras, too.
A
Bring the cameras? Yeah. You can film it there.
C
Yeah, yeah.
A
You can't bust your phone out this over here.
C
Oh, no.
A
Oh, yeah. They'll tell you immediately. Put your phone down. Damn. Yeah, yeah. It's a Lambo.
B
He was always in, like, the Jeezy music videos and TI And After Dark.
A
Remember that when we were kids? Come off. Just make sure no one sees me watching this. Damn. That was fun as. But I remember those strip club videos back then. Like, where is that at?
C
Way different in that, bro. It's the capital of script clubs.
A
I've. I've heard.
C
I would say Houston is. Is good too, but the party in Atlanta, and it's not like if you go in there to try to get some and all that. Half of these Girls are making $200,000 a year at the least. They don't Want half of them are in school. So the etiquette part is different than going to that place where you've seen that chick eating that burrito.
A
That was crazy.
C
Yeah.
A
Later on, I saw another one eating wings.
C
Yeah.
A
Damn.
C
All of that.
A
No. Two different girls. She was eating wings on somebody, and I was like, I don't want to be here. I don't want to be here. Now, there's a rule here. As soon as money hits the ground, it's up for grabs at that spot. And it was the weirdest I ever seen.
C
They don't play that fighting over. Like, if you got. You got to pick the girls that you want to dance, you could throw that from here to there. But it's only the ones you pick is the one that's gonna get that money. Like, it's way different in Atlanta, bro.
A
It's a bro business.
C
Yeah.
A
Okay, well, I'm excited. Yeah. Maybe I might eat some food inside of a strip club one day. We'll see. Dude. I specifically not gone to ones of Ace Might they serve food. I ain't going to that place. Because, you know, in movies, you see everybody's all sad, and she eating food at strip clubs, like, and that's my boy. It's all sad. That's one stripper I've never been to. Nothing cool. All right. It's okay. I'll go to Atlanta. At least the destination first.
C
You know what?
A
You first from Atlanta.
C
Burke got a movie that's coming out. It's called Free Bird. I'm actually in the movie. Oh, yeah?
A
Nice.
C
It's shot. Some of it is shot in. In Magic City, so I'll see what it's like. That'll give you a good idea of the script clubs in Atlanta.
A
I've heard. I've only heard stories.
C
Crazy.
A
My homies when I live there, it's crazy. Okay, we went somehow way off topic. Your music, man. Yeah, we went like this and then went. Yeah, Strip clubs. Done. You're releasing music. You're making music now. Now that you have off time, what's your schedule like? Are you making music more often?
C
Like, actually, I'm so busy right now. This is probably the time that I might agree with you. Like, I. I haven't had as much time in the studio as normal because of my show. Politely raw.
A
Politely.
C
Right. And that's on y'. All. Check us out. Politely Raw. What's Pac Man Jones?
A
What's the station? It's on.
C
We on everything. Anything that you can find. YouTube, X, Twitter. What's the rest of them Spotify. Oh, I thought it said YouTube.
A
And what days it come out.
C
It come out on Tuesdays and Fridays.
A
What time?
C
9Am and I talk about everything. Anything you can name. Hot Topics. Probably have a little bit of this on the show on Monday. But, like, it's me being politely raw, basically saying the way I want to say it and critiquing sports, what the president is wearing, anything that you could think about, and just basically critiquing it in my way. So. Yeah, it's pretty.
A
How long do you typically do solo? Like one man camera type thing?
C
I. I have guests all the time.
A
Because I see the clip, but I saw it was just. It was one. Was you talking solo, though?
C
Some of them. I do talk solo.
A
Okay. Sometimes we do that here.
C
Yeah, I got a host. His name is Drew Butler, ex kicker for the. The. I mean, Steelers, I should say. But, like, I've had everybody you can name come through. Stop it. Holl at me, Burke. Tom's go.
A
Oh, no, no. I know. And you were on two person cables like. Yeah, two years ago.
C
That's my boy. Actually, I got on the shirt right now.
B
Right now.
A
Right. I actually have a Tom Segura Albert Einstein style shirt on.
C
Yeah. But yeah, from coaches Marvin Lewis to all of the football players to Shaquille o'. Neal.
A
Did you have to get a new chair for him?
C
Well, mine is virtual, so it's just basically you click in.
A
Okay. Because we were talking about if we got to get a new chair, what the are we gonna do?
C
Yeah, you had Shaq on.
A
I'm say if we get. We talked about it, one of the.
C
Guys, like, one of the most generous persons that I have, actually, when I got in, when I beat the dude up in the airport, that was because of Shaq.
A
We talk about Shaq.
C
Yeah, yeah. You go find it on PAT magazine.
A
So my question was, are people just talking to you everywhere?
C
Yeah, nine times out of ten. But now I'm getting to the point. Now I'm tired of paying. Like, it's cool.
A
I'll just ignore this at this point.
C
Yeah, well, I ain't gonna say ignore it, but I kind of pick and choose where I'm going, how I'm going, what I'm doing, who I'm with.
A
Beat this up. So I keep og like, how did.
B
It go left about Shaq. Like, how did that even come out?
C
Dude was just talking.
A
I had a two you about it.
C
With a Popeye bag. No, chef was with me.
B
Oh, is it. Was that.
A
That's the bravest man you, Shaq. Looking at him, knowing that this man's about to beat the out of him. I hit him with a Popeyes bag is one of the funniest shirts.
B
There's no way that dude and I.
A
Hit him with a Popeyes back.
C
Why?
A
Because he was talking about Shag. Yo, that's. That's like having a. A bloodhound at your side. Like, get him, get him. I'm waiting for my orders to. That's. That's what I. I assumed because I looked at the thing, I'm like, damn. Even mad fights are people talking because you do the NFL. Like, you missed that cat tackle. I couldn't imagine how. You know, how devious sports fans are, you know, are when you're not on their team. Holy. One year later, you get on their team, they got your jersey on, and it's the weirdest thing.
C
Yeah.
A
So I couldn't imagine you just walk through the airport. Like, I heard that.
C
I couldn't.
A
I couldn't do it.
B
You got people betting against you and losing money, and they're pissed off at that too.
A
Is that what it is? Are people just.
C
Most of the time.
A
So are people just mad?
C
They can't be.
A
The point. Is that really what it is? Because you're an NFL player, man, and you're. You're not known to be, like, subtle, definitely. You know, I mean, like, so people.
C
I'm a little wild, different. I can't say this. Like, I've changed a lot since I've gotten a little older, but, you know, like, I don't mind fighting. I grew up fighting. Like, I used to go to other projects to fight other kids, like, and get paid for it.
A
When I was growing up, we have. I did.
C
It was crazy that, you know, I.
A
Was getting paid to assassinate. Sixth grade.
C
No.
A
What do you mean, you like to fight? Were you a boxer? Did you compete? Or just beat kids up that didn't know what was coming? Screw.
C
I was screen fighting.
A
Could you imagine, like, you know that kid, that's superstar athlete. You're gonna fight him in about five minutes. He's actually jogging over here. There he comes up, crab walking triceps and no, I don't want to fight. I don't know if I used to wrestle. And I remember I was a fat kid. I was. I'm a fat kid. So I'd be like, damn, I'm three grades ahead right now. This sucks, man. I'm a freshman wrestling senior. Like, this is not fun. And that's my whole Life, I wrestle that were too big. And I always lost, dude. I always lost. Middle school, I'll your up. Soon as I got to fools with beards, I'm like, ah, it's over. I lost. So for you, I wonder what it's like, Marty waking up. Go, I could probably do a backflip right now and beat your ass. That'd be so sick. Do you feel like a superhero sometimes? He does, sure. Could you imagine like, you're at a nightclub, someone looks you like, do you want this? Get out of here. I can't imagine feeling like that.
C
I'm like, bro, don't. Don't let the sauce fool you, bro.
A
Don't do it to yourself. Damn. I can't imagine, man, being an athlete.
B
And having all just based off more quickness and explosiveness. Like, it just puts you in a different bracket than, like, every other human walking earth.
A
How did I not? What was your first fight? We asked people all the time. No, no. And you're over here going, oh, so now you're computing Going, which one was number one?
C
Yeah.
A
What's the first memorable one? We're like, damn, I think I could fools up because I remember mine. But it wasn't like.
C
Well, me and my cousins, we fought early. Like, I was in the projects, bro. So for boredom, we stayed with my grandma. It was me, James, and Lewis. And, like, we would fight every day, like, starting at 5 years old for.
A
Us, but, like, fight each other. Yeah.
C
Just talking about real fights because you're bored. Nah.
A
What is it for? I grew up, my grandma's, two of my cousins, and I never once punched.
C
Him in the face. Yeah, but you ain't staying. 800 square feet, apartment, and all three of y' all had to sleep in the same bed.
A
Not with my cousin.
C
The dumbest fight I probably got in because my cousin Lewis pissed in the back bed, and I was in the bed.
A
Was he asleep?
C
Yeah.
A
Can you imagine waking up like, damn, I pissed myself. Get your ass beat, dude, that would suck. First off, you got to go, oh, then this athlete's over here, punches you in the face.
C
We was all athletes, but, yeah, anyway, still, you.
A
You punching somebody in the face. I was like, when you start smoking weed?
C
So I really didn't smoke to my senior or freshman year. And the reason why I didn't smoke, because all the that was around me, smoking wasn't making it out the projects. And, like, my whole goal was to get out of the projects. And once I graduated my prom night, I smoked. I didn't even get high though. The first time I'm like, why the is people smoking? They're not getting high.
A
Ohio.
C
And I wasn't. No, I was in Atlanta.
A
Oh, Atlanta. We okay, different.
C
Then I went to college. Then I like, oh, now let's see why they smoke. And since my freshman year, like I'm one of them guys that like to look into everything when I'm doing something. So, you know, trying to figure out what's what, where it coming from, where's the best at. What is og, you know, what is a hybrid? What is an indica? What is the sativa?
A
This is when you're in college.
C
Yeah.
A
So this is back when we wasn't even popularized yet.
C
No, we was cracking.
A
Well, I'm talking about like where it's online, like, yo, this is a hybrid mixed with 80 this.
C
And then you get a call with it. You're right.
A
You know, I mean, like now it's like, you know who the trimmed it?
C
Well, back then we have hybrid. We only had indica and sativa, outdoor and indoor.
A
Yeah.
C
And now this is so to the max, you know what I mean?
A
What's the. The Pac Man's train at. At cookies, right?
C
It's a hybrid.
A
It's a hybrid. What's the lineage? Like, what's. What's the cross?
C
The cross is. Don't make me lie right now.
A
It is.
C
I should notice.
A
It's okay. I forget shells. All right, dude. Especially when it comes to weed, you know what I mean? Like, what was the lineage?
C
Like, I can't even think of it off the top of my head right now.
A
Is it. It's a hybrid. Is it darker? Is it purple?
C
Is it green purple?
A
You think it's a rust gelato biscotti? It is. What else is purple? It's not a purple haze. No, it's not a gdp. No, it can't be. Is it a purple punch?
C
No.
A
Is it apple fritter? A fritter?
C
It's a gelato mix.
A
Biscotti.
C
Biscotti. Yeah, there we go.
A
That's jealousy. Oh, jealousy. Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a great mix.
C
Yeah.
A
That's just some dark ass purple.
C
Yeah, it is.
A
Yeah, it is.
C
Yeah.
A
Okay. Yeah. The jealousy. That shit's fire. Anything crossed with that. Or like the thin mint.
C
Yeah. And then essentially it's a runs cross with a buzcotti.
A
Oh. Oh. Because it's wreck out there. I found out today, guys, that Cincinnati or the whole state of Ohio is wrecked.
C
Everything in Ohio.
A
That's crazy, dude. I had no Idea I need to be more educated on the I do. It's the field that I'm in. I'm over here that had no idea. I don't go to states if it's not legal because I will get arrested. I don't do it. Yeah, like they would love like, you know, we caught the pothead kid. Like, nah, dude, I can't let it be. Like when I went to Utah last time I ever get. I got extorted in Utah over some weed. What do you got? How much does that ring? I'm like, oh my God. They were like asking me for. Yeah to get my friend out of jail. It was weird, man. I thought they were gonna shoot us. It was like some country weird delivering. I don't like Utah, man. Maybe nice people. Oh with Utah and now it's medical.
C
Yeah.
A
You guys, man.
B
What about psychedelics?
C
I'm not into it. I'm already up. Like I want nothing that's gonna make me think I'm seeing something and I don't see it.
A
Have you ever tried psychedelics?
C
No, I won't try. Okay, how about you won't talk me? I'm not gonna talk you into it ever.
A
I don't ever want to talk somebody into they don't want to do. I'm gonna say this as a term of like, hey, it's already over. I'm not gonna take them. But think of it this way, just real quick, a point 3 of psychedelics doesn't make you see they're strange. Just like weed, I take a lot. I take like 7 grams with my wife. We, we, we go, we go.
C
So you did ayahuasca?
A
No, I haven't, I haven't been able to IASA dmt.
C
You want to try though?
A
Of course, sounds great. I want to look around, go, ah, I'm in the sky. Like when I did the seven grands, I could see my body from above my house flying around my neighborhood. It was. I could see my move. It was a. We talked about. It was a weird night. I was talking to some fools. It was weird. But me and my wife had the same trip. Talking about the same people and the same. So we're like, oh, there's something to this. It was a weird night. I realized it's been 10 years since that trip and I thought it was a couple years ago. It's been 10 years. It's time. I gotta do. I gotta do it anyway. Think of a psychedelic like this. Mushrooms. I don't know about acid. It's man made I don't know about acid. It's a reset button. Every time I've ever done mushrooms, I go, now I know why I'm stressed out. Now I know why all these things are bad. The only thing that matters is I'm alive. I have connections with people that I like, and I'm happy. And then you go, like, I don't.
C
Took a microdose mushroom. I didn't trip out, though.
A
That's the thing. Like, not the trip out. You need the introspective. Like, when it gets in your head and you go, my name is Adam. Adam. What is that? What's that name? Why do I have that name? And I look at my face, and then it just. I've seen myself, exactly what I look like as an old man. I've seen everything in the mirror. It's really weird. Like, I've seen that. Like, that. That weird age. I feel like psychedelics are a reset. It's like spraying down your countertop and going, all right, fool, keep it clean. And then when it gets dirty, it's like all the. Because I. I realize, like, what's important, what's not. And three days later, it's gone, because I don't hold on to it. But I really feel like psychedelics could heal the world in the terms of. I'm not a doctor, but if you have mental things going on with depression, bipolar, super anxiety, I've only seen it do good in certain doses. That's all not making you do it. You're like, guy.
C
Like, there's definitely some white boy.
A
You should research it. You should definitely research that, man. I promise you. Like, when you're an old man and, like, you're getting judged and you go, oh, I get it now. I understand. And go, that doesn't mean nothing. It's very weird with the. What that will do to your brain.
C
But, like, what if you. What if I flip out? Like, I'm already. Shut up.
A
Well, that's why I don't do acid, because it's uncontrollable. Like, I don't feel like. A lot of people say they control the high. I feel like it's uncontrollable, the effects. Because God didn't make that come out the ground.
C
Acid.
A
Some guy made it a lab.
C
Yeah.
A
Mushrooms are in here for a reason. That's why all these Native American fools were taking it and going, nah, dude, I'm trying to talk to these ancestors. Little do we know. We thought they were crazy. They're not. Because I do believe in ghosts. And spirits and all that.
C
Yeah. And there's another one you asked me, do I. Do you?
A
No, you don't at all. No. Being from the south, not at all.
C
Wow.
A
See what you want to see. And that's. That's fine with your brain. That's fine. That's how your brain works.
C
No, I'm just saying, being honest, that's just.
A
I'll let you know. Shit's very real. All these things are very real. It's okay. It's good for you, though. Like, if you don't believe it, it'll never come to touch you. I'll never come with you, never enter. That's great. Like, this realm of this level of this life. It's just you in there. It's just you chilling. Like you. That's awesome. Don't open it up unless you're. If you're ready to start dealing with that. You're like, I thought this was a movie. Like, no, it's not. It's real life. And that shit's real. But it depends on what you with. Yeah, Mexican shit's weird. My grandma can see a bunch of weird. Depends on who you like. Your bloodline. All that shit's weird. Dude, I'm talking about. I've done a lot of psychedelics and that's. You could tell. And I'm like, just talking about, like, no, dude, just go down a branch and branch off and see some. I've seen some weird, but it's happened. Have you had dreams and they've happened?
C
Well, I've had dreams. A lot of dreams played out in real life. I'm not one of those. No, never seen it.
A
You have reoccurring dreams? Same back to back to back to back to back. Or have the same dream like 10 years later, dead on. You remember it like a movie? No.
C
No.
A
Oh, you are wired a little different. Or maybe I am. I don't know. Okay, well, I'll just say this. Research, a lot of research on mushrooms, not dmt, because that is. I don't know what to do with it yet. I haven't tried it yet. I'm not ready. Just look. What? Look into certain strains of mushrooms and what they could do for that rewiring. My mom is crazy. She's been doing mushrooms about five years and calm the down. I gave her mushrooms before we went to go watch the Steelers game. So. Yeah, all right, cool. Like, my mom's a little goblin with that now, but she's chill. She used to be Joe Pesci and beat the out of us. And now look at her. We're over here talking to her brother.
B
He's like, yeah.
A
Tell me, man. Just look into it. I don't even do mushrooms all the time anymore. But I just advocate that you look into it. If you like, like the research. See what it does to the brain. See what it's done to high anxiety driven people. It's weird, dude. Like, the first time I really did shrooms and was lost for six hours, it like it resets. It's.
C
I'm looking up.
A
Look into it, man.
C
Look it up.
A
All right. Besides that, we got to talk about.
B
You got a new single. Drop like a telegram.
A
Thank you. We started talking about that 48 minutes ago.
B
Crossover country, hip hop track down there, right?
C
Yeah. With me and Jamie Allen. It dropped on the 20th. I've always been. In all different genres, you know what I mean? I'm an inner city kid from the projects, but I'm a country boy at heart, you know? I mean, I like fish and everything. Besides hunting, I'll say. My next door neighbor was George Jones.
A
George Jones, the country singer?
C
Yeah. Me and Jelly Roll went to college together. Been like this a whole.
A
Oh, wait, wait. After you became in the NFL, right?
C
No, growing up, college, man. Jelly, bro.
A
No, I'm talking about George Jones.
C
George Jones, Yes.
A
When you're. After you became in the NFL.
C
Yep.
A
I was like, damn, George Jones just lives like in a regular spot in Atlanta. That's crazy as hell.
C
No, no, that was Tennessee, actually. He had like 290 acres. I had like 65 acres butted up right to him. Ms. Nancy. It's one of the coolest dude I met.
A
Oh, there's your real name. You met this man?
C
Yeah, Like I would sit over there and talk with him hours and hours after.
A
With George Jones?
C
Yeah.
A
You never know unless you ask some questions. Kid Rock George.
C
That's crazy weekends, I shall say. Yeah. People just think that when they see me and read the COVID of the book that. Excuse my friends, I'm just a little from Atlanta, Georgia, from the projects. But that is like the total opposite when you meet me. Yeah, I do have a lot of city in me, but like, I enjoy doing a lot of different. And I think me going to West Virginia broadened my span of. It's a lot different than just being an inner city kid and doing the most simplest. You get what I'm saying?
A
Yeah.
C
Like right now we got 120 acres, two lakes filled with fish, 150 dirt bikes and go cars, big ass tractor back where you like, yeah. And like to some people.
A
What the. It's awesome. You could build a. You could build anything you want. 150 acres. You could shoot a rocket launcher out there.
C
If you shoot a lot of guns out there too.
A
Wait, are guns. Are guns cool in Ohio? Yeah, you can shoot like a grenade launcher.
C
You can shoot a lot of in Ohio lot.
A
I'm starting to not like California, man. I'll tell you that. A lot of my friends living back.
C
In Texas got all the guns in Texas.
A
Not even just guns. Like, oh, you could do anything you want. Yeah, it's fine. If someone comes to your house, you could kill them. Like, thank you. California's not like that. You have to ask them to leave now. That's crazy. I can't shoot somebody. They break into my house.
C
Sorry.
A
Keep going.
C
It's a big difference.
A
My bad. Sorry.
C
I'm all in New York is on the same type of time when it comes to come to guns.
A
You have 150 acres and hella dirt. I never dirt back in my life. Never was for real. Nah four wheeler, nah nothing.
C
I actually just fell trying to show off.
A
That's why I think that's why I don't.
C
Not too long. Not too long ago I was on a little YZ80 with a Super stroke on it. Boarded out and I'm fucking. And the fucking power band kicks in. There goes the bike and my ass sitting there on the ground. My son like, are you dad? Are you okay? Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. Got back up, rode all the way home. Then I had to be the tough guy and ride it the next two days so my son wouldn't get like kind of scared like, damn, dad failed. He ain't been riding for a couple days back. Was hurting so bad the next day when I was on that bike.
A
You're very dedicated. I always be like, hey, folks, don't fall like I did. That hurts real bad. That's the end of the conversation. Yeah, you're a tough. I'm a tough it up for two days on this. My kid's gonna know the truth. Afraid of heights, man. Back the up. Damn. And we're all different. All right. So you. I'm sorry, your singles.
C
Yeah, drop it like a tailgate. I got some. Some more records I'm working on.
A
You said the weed too? The weed songs, right?
C
Yeah, Mary Jane, I put out last year on 420. I got some more stuff that I'm working on for this 420 right here. I got another song that's more of a heartfelt wave song because I think that's what's in right now. Like, nobody's talking about shoot them up, bang, bang, kill, kill. You know what I mean? Is more of the ride ways. I even put young boy in there because young boy have that same tempo. Lucci. I just think the music is going in a different way than just, oh, yeah, I'm on the corner and I'll be shooting them all day. Like, they want to feel something now during this time or it need to be something where they can party too. So I'm just mixing up a lot of stuff that I've done. Like, I got this one song that I. I know it's a hit, but it's kind of nobody's talking about.
A
Which song do we do we play and we asked before. We can't get copyright strike. YouTube. He says we can use this song.
C
This song right here is not out. Tailgate drops on the 20th. So y' all can use that right now. Cuz they. It's not. It's not up.
A
He's giving us permission.
C
I'm giving y' all permissions. Any songs that just in case Pac Man Jones have.
A
So you dropping music. You got. And you're in a new movie.
C
Yeah.
A
What's the next step?
C
Another movie?
A
Yeah. You ready to film it?
C
No, no, not yet. But another movie is the next step. More music and just building the pod. I really think that I have a chance to be in. In the next two, three years to be probably top five when it comes to corresponding and shows and different stuff like that.
A
There. There's a lane. Like, I didn't think the Pat McAfee show is so huge.
C
Yeah.
A
And I think it's just. This is what it is. I say you were here and you had your show. The reason why you're successful is because you know what the. You're talking about. And an expert's an expert. A coach could be a coach. A real player that knows what they're talking about changes the. That's why I always said if Tom Brady did anything, it has to do with sports.
C
He is gonna crush it every time.
A
Every. Because everyone's like, I need to hear the genius talk about what the. He wants to. Because you want to know what their inside is. That's what we have. You know, James Brown. We have all those guys. But real player. Like when Howie Long came out, you're like, oh, Howie Long's here now. It's a little different when a real. Like a real player that you respect goes and starts talking. Yeah, it's different. Pat mc's cool. But at the end of the day it's like, yeah Pat McV, you're great. I love it. At the end of the day, real sports players like he's not my favorite kicker. It's still, it's a little different. It's like you want like the full that held the team. The fool's making tackles, interceptions doing. As a sports fan. Yeah. I would like to see someone talk about what they're talking about that knows.
B
That was really, really.
C
I think that's where it's trending to now.
A
It is, it is.
C
Like if you look at espn, they damn near father everybody over there, Fox everybody over there and on down the line. I think this new era of commentators or giving more opportunities, more opportunities to ex players long as you know the you talk about. And I think the reason why I'm doing pretty good right now is because I don't have a limit. Like I don't. I don't give a who you are. Like, if I feel like talking about it, I'm gonna talk about it. Yeah. And you know, some guys are.
A
I.
C
Ain'T gonna say scared but they have boundaries. The trade media trained and like not to not get in trouble to talk about their best friend. Even if it's a point that need to be said. I think and I've always been first of all blatantly honest and I have a passion for what I do. And at the end of the day, I ain't talking about you as a person but I'm talking about the situation that's at hand. I don't give a what you do when you go home, how you do it, this and that. You know what I mean? But if you're doing something in the public eye where I should say not even the public eye when it comes to sports related. Yeah, I'm gonna call you out or I'm gonna talk about it. I should say. I shouldn't even say call you out. That's a bad word. I'm gonna talk about the issue at hand regardless of who it is.
A
Well, like a real journalist would. Yeah, you'd be like you're, you're a real. I mean I would consider you that if you're going to be doing it like this and you're taking it serious. It's journalism. You're, you're sports. But it's. I get what you're saying. You're encompassing all things. If I want to talk about the news on some that happened Today I will. It won't just be that breakdown like up next we're talking about Lamar Jackson. Up next we're. I think the world needs it a little more because we have all the sports. That's only sports always. But to get another layer would be sick. I like Cam Newton talking. I like, I like, I like. I like the way that it's going because everybody has a sports show talks about sports, but none of those ever played a sport.
C
Yeah.
A
I want to see people that have done this. Like I said Tom Brady being announcer right now is the best thing we can have just to have somebody else's insight. Like when Steve Young retired and went that got better. I just think with somebody that. With experience. Yeah, you're gonna do good. And how long you been doing it?
C
I've been doing it a while now. I would say what my year seven.
A
Seven.
C
As far as. Because you know, I started. I'm athlete with Brandon Marshall left there man. Pat. Did Pat McAfee show for three and a half years. I mean two and a half years. Then I started my show. I've been doing my show for the last two and a half years.
A
So what's the goal for that? Like try to get it on a network?
C
Yes, most definitely. I don't know if I want to be on TV though. I think the Internet and all these Netflix they just started the podcast. A lot of everything is by swipe up phone now.
A
Yeah.
C
Like nobody really is.
A
If they watch the tv they have the app to watch the tv. Yeah. Like ESPN app. That's the tv.
C
And I think where we at right now the catch is the YouTubes and all these big networks that are not on TV get more swipes 100 than DirecTV. So I. I actually had a deal that I didn't take that was with a network and I stayed where I was at because of the team that I have. Man. Better line have been unbelievable. Great partner with me as far as let me have control of what I want to do. Posting different bets, just really giving me the all control of create activity of the show. So. And I think you know, nothing is forever but the relationship we have. I think either some kind of way we would create our own network or they will still be partners with me when I go and do it on another network. But. And maybe maybe not. Maybe so. But the last four years I've been with them, they've been nothing but good to me.
A
You don't hear often from anybody. It's always the 100.
C
Yeah.
A
Good. So entertainment Seems like the. The route you're going right now. Oh, yeah, but all encompassing because if you're doing acting, you're in the new movie.
C
Was that movie drop Free bird on the 20th? No. 22nd.
A
Netflix.
C
Yeah. Pretty sick, bro. You gotta watch it. You got a smoky one. And watch this one. You think? I mean, this one, right? Mike won the Emmy. That's how funny this is.
A
You already watched, like, you already watched the screening? Everything.
C
Yeah, yeah.
A
Is it weird seeing yourself on TV besides not playing with the helmet on?
C
Actually, it was funny.
A
Yeah.
C
Like, I'm like, damn. I ain't know it was that funny, but it was fun. It was.
A
It's pretty cool if you had that attitude, man. I'm excited to watch it.
C
Yeah, it was pretty cool.
A
What was Bert's. The. What was the. The movie he did recently, like, the movie about him.
C
The Free Bird is the movie?
A
No, the one before. Did you watch the Machine? They got bad reviews. That was hilarious. It was very gory. I didn't think gonna die like that. I. I suggest you go watch it. I. I suggest you watch it.
C
I've seen it. Free bird is better 20 times.
A
Oversight is 20 times. Congrats. Yeah. Is this your first, like, movie? Yeah.
C
Yeah. First, like, main character movie. Yeah.
A
Oh, you're a character. Like a real. Is that just like a hill puppet?
C
Oh, no, that's. You're in the movie. Yeah, I'm in there, like, oh, it's.
A
A big month for you, dude.
C
Pretty cool. Sick.
A
Is that why you're out here doing the pro for the movie?
C
Yeah, Promo for the movie also, you know, promo for the show, too.
A
Good. So every. Would you say Tuesday and Friday?
C
Yep. Tuesday. Politely raw, 9am politely wrong.

C
You can find me at the real Pac Man Jones. Drop it like a tailgate. Spotify, everything.
A
Apple music.
C
Okay, Cool music. Spotify. Yeah. I'm excited about this song. I thought we should have dropped it a little earlier, but I had to cross my T's and dot my eyes before I did everything. But it's. It's pretty catchy. I think it's a song like, damn near like Ice, Ice Baby that can be played on all commercials. That may trend for a long time if we do it right. And I think we're doing it right. You know what I mean? Yeah. Drop it down low at the tailgate. I think it's pretty cool.
A
All right. Yeah. So on all platforms, the real Pac Man Jones and then Netflix. January 22nd, free bird.
