Martin Robertson
Hey, y' all don't even know. YouTube especially. We recorded an episode without you. S. So we gave you the day off. You're welcome. Didn't even deduct it.
Si Robertson
I was wondering about that.
Martin Robertson
Didn't even deduct it from your pay.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah, there was a lot of cleanup this morning. So what happened?
Si Robertson
That's what I saw when I come in.
Martin Robertson
I said, cleanup.
Jase Robertson
I don't know what that.
Martin Robertson
From us.
Si Robertson
They had something going on.
John Luke Robertson
Something was going on here.
Martin Robertson
Oh, no. We just played the Newlywed Game with our wives. I'm here to tell you that John, David and Allison won. They beat us by two. They beat me and Brittany by two. The therapy's helping, but I'm not mad at either. The answers I missed either. Like, the ones we didn't get right. Because I was like, yeah, both checks out. It was I. The problem, the one that kind of irritated me a little bit was the losing of the keys. Now, I will say, when I lose my keys, they're gone. You don't find them, like. And the problem is I know exactly where they are.
Jase Robertson
I had to just look for my keys.
Martin Robertson
You just can't get to them. I know where they are.
Jase Robertson
I never know where mine are, but.
Martin Robertson
But Brittany will ping them 17 times a day. So it's like, yeah, well, whatever. What. What does lost really mean in that world? Like, my. I will say, though, when mine are gone, they're gone. Well, they're generally at the bottom of a body of water.
Si Robertson
I was just gonna say water is involved in where they're at.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, exactly. Twice that's happened. At both times, they've been unrecoverable. Once in a. In a private place and once in bif River So I haven't lost my keys. Yeah. I have, in fact, lost my keys twice, so.
Jase Robertson
But we didn't. We haven't got to tell SAI what I got for my birthday.
Martin Robertson
Yeah. I want to see his reaction.
Jase Robertson
So you want to see a picture what I have for my birthday, what Allison bought me for my birthday, but.
Si Robertson
She bought you for your birthday?
Martin Robertson
It's a hot dog roller.
Jase Robertson
Oh, like in a gas station.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
John Luke Robertson
It's standing straight up.
Jase Robertson
I look like.
Si Robertson
Guys, that's some kind of special gun.
Martin Robertson
No.
John Luke Robertson
Well, they got a pool table.
Martin Robertson
I mean, it is loaded.
Si Robertson
Well, no, but then I looked and I said, no, that's okay.
Martin Robertson
Yeah. You need to rotate it.
Jase Robertson
I don't know how to rotate.
Martin Robertson
I don't either.
Jase Robertson
This is just the picture I sent Martin yesterday on Memorial Day.
Martin Robertson
And I said, praise God.
Si Robertson
Hey, and I bet they're really good, too.
Jase Robertson
So Big Dave heated them up and then put them on there.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Turns out if you go swim for, like, three hours and just leave a hot dog cooking at 180, they only get better. And then. Look, this is just me headed home with my hot dog roller.
Martin Robertson
I love the sticker on the front.
Jase Robertson
It says hot dogs.
Si Robertson
Wait a minute.
Jase Robertson
Delicious hot dog, huh?
Si Robertson
Where's the hot dog?
Martin Robertson
They go.
Jase Robertson
I ate them all. Well, hey, this was after the party, and you didn't call me that sticker says hot dogs.
John Luke Robertson
So they were. They were still good after an hour and a half or what?
Jase Robertson
Good three hours later.
Martin Robertson
Well, how long do you think they said it? Like, the gas stations when they're turning
John Luke Robertson
on or the theater?
Martin Robertson
The theater, yeah.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah. They still have them in the theater, do they?
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Martin Robertson
I ain't been inside.
Jase Robertson
That actually tracks.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Need to go to the movies, huh? Oh, Hunter, do they have a hot dog roller in the movie theater?
Martin Robertson
Have you ever eaten a hot dog? A movie hot dog, Hunter?
Hunter
I have not.
Martin Robertson
No.
Jase Robertson
See, that's the thing, though. Those suckers are putting those on there right now, and you think that's gross, but I'm here to tell you, it's amazing.
Hunter
I did go on a date with someone that got, like, knock nachos and got that, like, cheese sauce, like, all over her hands, and then she tried to, like, hold on to me during the movie, and it was super gross. I, like, hid in the bathroom for, like, 30 minutes,
John Luke Robertson
nacho kind of hug.
Martin Robertson
I'm rarely. I'm rarely speechless.
Jase Robertson
But you went on a date with a girl who ate nachos with her fingers.
Hunter
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
And then tried to hold your hand.
Hunter
Yeah.
John Luke Robertson
And it was squishy and nasty and cheesy.
Hunter
No, the worst part was she licked her hand.
Jase Robertson
Oh, no.
Hunter
Didn't even go wash them. Like, licked all of the cheese sauce.
Jase Robertson
Oh.
Martin Robertson
To be fair, ain't that where you were hoping to get at the date?
Hunter
No.
Martin Robertson
So I'm not trying to figure out what you were so gross.
John Luke Robertson
Did you have a second date with follow up question.
Martin Robertson
Is there any chance she listens to this podcast?
Hunter
No.
Martin Robertson
Okay, another follow up question. Did she look like me? Because I have a feeling that's a loaded question.
John Luke Robertson
I told you had a beard.
Jase Robertson
I think he was going more with, like, the 64275.
Martin Robertson
Because there's only a certain stature of people that lick their fingers after nachos. I'm one of them.
Jase Robertson
Well, I mean, not. Not just any nachos. Movie theater nachos.
John Luke Robertson
They've been there a while.
Jase Robertson
That cheese came from a can.
Martin Robertson
Now, I will have to say I will lick my fingers post nachos, but I do go wash my hands, so that's normal.
Hunter
But also washing your hands afterwards is normal. Not trying to, like, he said, that's hold your hand or hold on you or whatever.
Martin Robertson
Hunter's. The only reason I ask is the first depiction. Y' all can't see Hunter, but I can. His first depiction of, like, hold on to me was like, he wrapped himself in a bear hug. So.
Jase Robertson
Oh, y' all are on the back row of the movie theater. Well, hey, where those armrests fold up?
Si Robertson
Okay.
Martin Robertson
Huh. That's why I was like, we gotta
Jase Robertson
dive more into this. What movie was hey, the woman was
Si Robertson
hungry and then she wanted to hug.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah. Hey.
Martin Robertson
Oh, Christmas release of Die Hard. So.
Hunter
Yeah, it was back in, like, 2023.
Jase Robertson
It wasn't.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
He's like, it's Die Hard came out in 1988, brother.
Hunter
I go see Die Hard in theaters
Martin Robertson
every year for Christmas.
Hunter
For Christmas.
Martin Robertson
You're one of those people says, And
John Luke Robertson
hug and cheese and hugs.
Martin Robertson
Do they. Does she have, like, jalapenos on them, too? Connor said, I hid in the bath.
John Luke Robertson
That's a good move.
Jase Robertson
Honey, be fair. I don't want your cheese fingers touching me either. Was this a first date?
Martin Robertson
No.
Jase Robertson
Oh, no.
Hunter
We went on a few dates, but this is when things were starting to go downhill.
Jase Robertson
This was the last day.
John Luke Robertson
Oh, yeah. It's got to be toward the end.
Martin Robertson
So is the bathroom.
Jase Robertson
And then went on another day. I was.
Hunter
Well, I was thinking maybe. Maybe it's all in my head, you know, maybe.
Martin Robertson
Maybe it'll get better.
John Luke Robertson
Maybe it Wasn't that bad.
Hunter
It did not get better.
Martin Robertson
So is licking fingers without washing your hands. Is that considered a red flag for you?
Hunter
Oh, I think in that context, yeah.
John Luke Robertson
You're at the movie theater. I mean, that's just.
Jase Robertson
That's a red flag for everyone.
Martin Robertson
What?
Jase Robertson
Licking your fingers after nachos in a movie theater where everything's sticky anyways.
John Luke Robertson
But Martin admitted to doing it.
Jase Robertson
Well, of course.
Martin Robertson
I don't eat nachos at a movie theater, though there are some foods that are reserved for the ballpark. No, my house. Because if I eat nachos, it's not just gonna be on my fingers. It's gonna be on my shirt.
Jase Robertson
It's gonna be everywhere.
Martin Robertson
It's gonna be everywhere. So there are some foods I just don't eat in public. And nachos is.
Jase Robertson
Allison made that Mexican corn.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
This elote with the sauce and the white and the cheese and the tahin cheese.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
That changes the color of my beard when I eat that. I wouldn't eat that at the movies either.
Martin Robertson
That's what I'm saying. There are some foods that are just like, I go to the movie. If I go, which I don't know, the last time, if I get anything, it's going to be popcorn.
Jase Robertson
I don't praise the Lord for movie theater.
Martin Robertson
Yeah. So I'm not. I'm not going down the exotic menu at the movie theater.
Jase Robertson
Movie theater is better now, though. You got the app, so you don't have to wait in line and you can just. Me and my kids ate dinner at the movies one time. One person got a corn dog. One person got a pizza pizza. 1.
Martin Robertson
How's the. How's the movie pizza?
Jase Robertson
It's Pizza Hut pizza.
Martin Robertson
Oh, really?
Jase Robertson
Pizza Hut has gotten so desperate, they've gone into the movie theaters.
Martin Robertson
Well, now they're. Now they're going back to the old Pizza Hut. Right.
Jase Robertson
We need that.
Martin Robertson
And I see that over the weekend, we're going back to red cups and buffets.
Jase Robertson
Yep. Sigh. We have great news, the good folks of Pizza Hut, because have you noticed that all restaurants are dreary now? Like, look at the Taco Bell.
Martin Robertson
I don't go to a lot of them.
Jase Robertson
It's just gray. It's a gray box.
Martin Robertson
Oh, yeah. Well, they don't want you in there no more.
Jase Robertson
Taco Bell used to be, like, a place where you'd go and live quarters. Cinnamon sticks, live moss. Yeah. And there was a little Chihuahua and bright colors.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
And Ronald McDonald was right up the road with a playhouse. And now it's just like all like
Martin Robertson
a corporate office now. It's order on your app and get the heck out of.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah, everybody get in and out.
Jase Robertson
We lost the fans, but Pizza Hut is bringing it back. You know what I'm saying?
Martin Robertson
Yeah. I mean, really, you think about. The only ones that are still bright are like raising canes. Pretty bright. Chick Fil A. Still bright on the inside. Dad said Popeye is still bright orange on the inside.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah.
Martin Robertson
So chicken is. Chicken is in. I guess. Which good thing for this town side.
Jase Robertson
Does that excite you that Pizza Hut's going back to the 80s model of restaurant?
Si Robertson
I don't care what weather does.
Martin Robertson
I ain't eating Pizza Hut.
Jase Robertson
You're missing out.
Martin Robertson
He gonna order his Johnny.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah.
Martin Robertson
Once a week. Johnny.
John Luke Robertson
He's staying with John. He's kind of upset with Johnny's. They were about an hour late with an order a couple weeks back.
Jase Robertson
Speaking of upset, Big.
Si Robertson
That was weird, though.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
You got to give us that Is going right to the house.
John Luke Robertson
Here's where. Here's when I knew it was bad. When I said. They said, well, what did you order? And I was like, sad. They hadn't even started making it yet.
Jase Robertson
Look how awesome that is.
Martin Robertson
Yes. My childhood. Praise God. Look at those tablecloths.
Jase Robertson
I mean, that's legit. You know how bad I want to go there with my kids right now?
Martin Robertson
I don't think ours is on the now.
Jase Robertson
Our Pizza Hut and now it's just like a little corporate.
Martin Robertson
Ours is like the size of this room. But a few years. I don't even know how they make a pizza.
John Luke Robertson
A few years ago. A few years ago, ours was just like that.
Jase Robertson
Ours held on longer than most.
Martin Robertson
Yeah. Yeah. We. I mean, what did we. What did we used to. We just, like.
Jase Robertson
I made everybody.
Martin Robertson
Once a month, we'd go there.
Jase Robertson
I made everybody at Duck Commander go there for my birthday.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Because used to.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Whoever's birthday was got to pick where we went for lunch. And everybody knew every year around May 15, we were going somewhere weird.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, Pizza.
Jase Robertson
I was in charge.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
And we went to Pizza at one,
Martin Robertson
but we still went there like once a month.
Jase Robertson
That was just me and you, though,
Martin Robertson
to give them a chance. It was always bad.
Jase Robertson
It was never.
Martin Robertson
It was never good.
John Luke Robertson
But she kept going.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Martin Robertson
I mean, well, those people in there need a job, man. You try to keep people employed, like. And at the end of the day, it is pizza. So the worst one is still. Okay. It's 3:00am you're half asleep, and you. You're trying to punch in a coat. Nope, that ain't what you're going to do. You're going to reach over, you're going to grab the stop box because there's nothing to it and nothing. It's all mechanical. No electric, no fumbling for keys. Watch how quick it is.
Si Robertson
Boom.
Martin Robertson
Look at there.
Jase Robertson
That easy.
Martin Robertson
And y' all know we love our firearms, right? But we take the safe use in storage seriously. But storing a handgun safely shouldn't mean slowing yourself down when you need it. And that's why the Stopbox Pro is such a game changer. Look, the stopbox Pro is 100% mechanical. There are no keys, there are no batteries, there are no codes. Jase Robertson
I do need to publicly apologize to a restaurant. Who there's a restaurant that stinks. And I've always said popeyes is better. But I've been on their breakfast lately.
Martin Robertson
AFC got breakfast.
Jase Robertson
No, no, no. Oh, the good folks of North Carolina and their Bojangles breakfast.
Advertisement/Announcer
Ah.
Martin Robertson
Oh. Bojangles breakfast is fantastic.
Jase Robertson
I unfamiliar with Bojangles breakfast game.
Martin Robertson
Their eggs are like I wish I could just get a bowl of egg.
Jase Robertson
You ever had their steak biscuit?
Martin Robertson
Oh, yeah.
Jase Robertson
Country fried steak biscuit. And got a cup of their gravy in there, buddy.
Martin Robertson
Look at me. Do you think I've missed out on?
John Luke Robertson
He ain't missed it.
Martin Robertson
He said now that I know to stay away from it.
Jase Robertson
But I also, I don't want to stay. Why would you?
Martin Robertson
You know the cool part about delicious. The cool part about Bojangles, you can eat it all day long. Like, you can go there at 2 o' clock and get breakfast.
Jase Robertson
I'm a little worried when I leave here.
John Luke Robertson
I didn't know that.
Jase Robertson
Stop and grab me a breakfast.
John Luke Robertson
So have you ever had anything from Bojangles? Chicken?
Si Robertson
Yeah.
John Luke Robertson
Okay.
Martin Robertson
Breakfast is my favorite. Fast food. Like, if I could get it 24 hours a day, that's what I would get if I have to stop meat, fast food. I don't care for burgers. I just don't. I don't eat them, so.
Jase Robertson
That's because they're all dreary now. Yeah.
Martin Robertson
Yeah. But you can get sausage, egg, and cheese biscuit any time of the day. I mean, on that.
John Luke Robertson
I'm really not a big breakfast eater, but I. I do like to eat stuff.
Martin Robertson
I don't eat breakfast, but I love breakfast food.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah.
Martin Robertson
Like, that's my deal is I made. I even made my first hash yesterday. My homemade hash. Diced up the potatoes and every boy's good.
Jase Robertson
That's difficult because you got to get them potatoes super dry.
Martin Robertson
Yep. Put them on paper towel. Yep. Get them dried so that they caramelize. Yeah. You know what? I sprayed them with duck fat. Fat. Found duck fat in a spray can. Are you kidding me?
John Luke Robertson
It needs to have your picture on it.
Martin Robertson
It's good, buddy. It was good.
John Luke Robertson
You're not a big breakfast person, are you?
Martin Robertson
Nope.
Si Robertson
But I black Martin.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
I like all the ingredients in breakfast.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Ain't nothing better than, you know, fried egg.
Martin Robertson
Bust that yolk. Oh, no, buddy.
Si Robertson
And then toast. You'll top it up with a toast.
Martin Robertson
Hey, what you got over? I see you brought a prop with you today. What you got there?
Si Robertson
A what?
Martin Robertson
A prop. A clock prop. P, R, O, P. Yes.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah.
Martin Robertson
What is that? No, I was talking about the socks. But yeah, we'll go with that. I didn't even see that.
Jase Robertson
That's what. He tried to hit me first.
John Luke Robertson
He's got a whip size holding a whip.
Si Robertson
He makes these for veterans.
Martin Robertson
Okay.
Si Robertson
And then president, then Philip actually come in here bearing gifts with the.
Jase Robertson
From a gas station.
Martin Robertson
From a gas station.
John Luke Robertson
It's all gas station boys.
Si Robertson
And hey, these things are comfortable.
Martin Robertson
How do you know they look weird.
John Luke Robertson
S got more socks than anybody I've ever known in my life.
Si Robertson
They look weird. Look at them.
Martin Robertson
Wait, that's a sock.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Martin Robertson
Oh, I thought it was a tie.
Si Robertson
No, no, I thought it was. I thought it was.
Martin Robertson
I thought I Was wondering why you got s next.
Si Robertson
I thought it was a Willie bandana when I first saw it. I really did.
Jase Robertson
It's. It's the definition of a tube sock because there's no texture at all. It's just a.
Si Robertson
There's no heel, you know. So it looks weird.
Jase Robertson
They change the color of the heel.
Si Robertson
It looks like.
Jase Robertson
I mean it's just.
Si Robertson
Oh, it looked like hey, a water balloon. It looks like baseball guys when they put on their gloves.
John Luke Robertson
Putting the sock on his hand.
Martin Robertson
Oh, that way you don't hurt your finger when you slide.
Jase Robertson
I got a sliding glove.
Martin Robertson
I never had to wear them sliding.
Si Robertson
That's what it looked like to me.
Jase Robertson
I can't wait for your kids to be older so you can see all these kids that have no business wearing a sliding glove. Wearing a sliding glove.
Martin Robertson
I was never going to steal no bait.
Si Robertson
Hey this.
Jase Robertson
But every kid your size now puts on an ice cream looking sliding glove and it takes them six years to run from first to second.
John Luke Robertson
It gives. It gives them a foot on their hand.
Martin Robertson
I will say I probably needed a sliding glove just cuz I was going to fall and it would have probably helped with breaking the fall but you
John Luke Robertson
know, you needed knee pants.
Jase Robertson
Have you tried those on?
Martin Robertson
Cuz my head was this size.
Jase Robertson
Are they going to fit right?
Si Robertson
Oh yeah, they're. They that. Although they're real comfortable.
Jase Robertson
They were only 7.98.
Martin Robertson
When did you go to BUC EE's?
Si Robertson
What?
Martin Robertson
They got that one open in Ruston? Yeah. You work over every day. How close are they?
Si Robertson
$8.
John Luke Robertson
No, they're a long way off.
Jase Robertson
Hold on. Are you. Are you under the impression that that is expensive?
Si Robertson
Yeah, that's expensive.
Martin Robertson
Eight bucks.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
I don't know if you know this but the straight of Hormuz is closed. $85 a pair is what it feels like.
Si Robertson
Oh, they're. No, these are companies.
Jase Robertson
What, what does it stand? I would say $8 for a. For an American flag sock.
Martin Robertson
Seems fair.
Jase Robertson
Yeah, average, like cheap.
Martin Robertson
That seems fair. Seems very fair.
Si Robertson
How much material is in there?
Martin Robertson
Not much.
Si Robertson
But I mean hey, $3 would be a legitimate price.
Martin Robertson
3 bucks.
Si Robertson
$8.
Jase Robertson
If I had honey hole socks like that they'd be 9.99 minimum. That's all I'm saying.
John Luke Robertson
10 bucks.
Jase Robertson
Duck Commander socks of which I own quite a few pairs.
Martin Robertson
Still, they were expensive.
Jase Robertson
Those were good.
Martin Robertson
Them, them, them green ones. I still wear them. Duck hunt. They're good.
Si Robertson
Those were good.
John Luke Robertson
Sigh. You mentioned you thought it was a tie and I know how much you hate ties. And back in the day when the show was booming and so I needed to dress up. He told me to go buy him a T shirt that had a built in tie on the front of it. And he wore it everywhere.
Si Robertson
Hold on. And it looks like a suit. It's pretty cool. It really is.
Jase Robertson
You wore a tuxedo T shirt.
John Luke Robertson
Do you want me to send you a picture?
Jase Robertson
Yes. Right now.
Si Robertson
No, no, it's actually really cool. I got it hanging up in my.
Jase Robertson
Hold on, hold on.
Martin Robertson
You saved it. This wasn't a one time one.
Jase Robertson
You can say a lot of things, but it's actually really cool.
Si Robertson
Hey, I'm aware. I'm aware. It is cool. I wear it to podcast.
Jase Robertson
Please wear it this week.
Si Robertson
And I actually look really good. I look dressed up and fancy.
Martin Robertson
My goodness.
Jase Robertson
I actually look really good. I look dressed up and fancy.
Si Robertson
I really do.
Jase Robertson
I appreciate it.
Si Robertson
Yo. And it's a slip on. I don't even have your own slip on.
John Luke Robertson
Just a T shirt.
Martin Robertson
You don't have to sell me. I know what it is.
Jase Robertson
He's. He's describing it as a slip.
Si Robertson
Oh, no, it's not one of those
Jase Robertson
T shirts you got to work to put on. It just slips.
Si Robertson
Make you look like you really, you know, dress.
Martin Robertson
I'm going. I'm going to ask you a question. The day comes and we celebrate your life. Am I allowed to wear a tuxedo T shirt to your service?
Si Robertson
I don't care.
Martin Robertson
You know, I just want you to say it that way I can play this clip for people when they say, what are you wearing?
Si Robertson
Well, no, no.
Jase Robertson
I want you to request all your pallbearer be wearing tuxedo T shirts. Yeah, that would be good.
Si Robertson
Hey, I can.
John Luke Robertson
I'll make that happen. Sigh.
Jase Robertson
Write it down. It's in the will.
Si Robertson
Oh, that will be good. And you need to make a point of it. These guys really dressed up for him.
Martin Robertson
Yes, Yes. I have a feeling I may have a hand on that thing. So now I really get. No, he got eight grandkids. They'll tell you. He got eight grandsons.
Jase Robertson
Well, we'll still wear the tuxedo.
Martin Robertson
I'll be. I'll wear it in spirit. As long as he's.
Jase Robertson
I'm about to order my exact shirt.
Martin Robertson
As long as he's condoning it.
Jase Robertson
As soon as Phil finds this.
Si Robertson
Hey, I might tell my wife bury me in that.
Martin Robertson
No, we got other stuff. We got. No, we. Well, maybe. Oh, my goodness gracious. He said it's actually really nice. That's my favorite.
Jase Robertson
And he actually looks really. He can't even compliment himself. Surprisingly, I look good in it.
Si Robertson
Oh, yo, people. People always say when the bells. They don't see people dressed up much. When then you wouldn't. You see a redneck. You don't ever see him in dressed up clothes.
Martin Robertson
Phillips.
Si Robertson
Hey, you clean up pretty good.
Martin Robertson
So Philip got 30,000 photos on his phone because Philip take a picture now. So if you.
Jase Robertson
If you type in tuxedo T shirt,
Martin Robertson
you should be able to search it now.
Jase Robertson
The AI might find it.
Si Robertson
No, every time I go through my closet looking for a shirt to put on, I always flagged out once in a point when I put it. I always say, man, that's a good.
Martin Robertson
Did you just send it
John Luke Robertson
from the MIA Moo? I have to find it later.
Jase Robertson
Oh, man. Well, please wear that next time we. We gather together.
John Luke Robertson
Send it to you after the. After the show.
Martin Robertson
Oh, my goodness gracious.
Si Robertson
Yeah, I like the mine. Take that out.
John Luke Robertson
You said tuxedo.
Si Robertson
That's what popped up. I got on my tux tucks for today's episode.
Jase Robertson
How is it? Is it like a black and white tuxedo T shirt? That's all it is.
John Luke Robertson
That's all it is.
Martin Robertson
Let me assure you.
John Luke Robertson
I mean, you could find it anywhere online.
Martin Robertson
I've known Cy Roberts in a long time. It's anything but white anymore. Definitely still black. But it's got some sort of gravy stain.
Jase Robertson
I actually think I've seen you in it.
John Luke Robertson
Oh, you have?
Si Robertson
Oh, you have.
Jase Robertson
Is it just like this one? Is it a boat?
Si Robertson
It's pretty in that one.
Martin Robertson
That's prettier.
Si Robertson
No, that's pretty. Better than that. That looks. That's kind of cheesy. This thing is really nice.
John Luke Robertson
He said. He said that one's cheesy.
Jase Robertson
I gotta find it. I've gotta find it somewhere.
Martin Robertson
Oh, praise God.
Jase Robertson
I mean, we. We almost have to take a break.
Martin Robertson
All right, look. Springtime is here. It's warming up. You know what that means? That means more outside cooking. And y' all know we love to eat beef around here. And that's why, because of our friends over at Tri Tails. Beef makes such a good product, baby. Ain't it good?
Jase Robertson
It's so good. It's our friend Cy Robertson would say, fire on the grill.
Martin Robertson
Look, before we got tritails getting ready for a cookout, man, somebody had to run the grocery store, do all the things, grab whatever was left in case you were late in the day. And you never really know where that beef come from. But with Tri Tails, Beef. We skip the grocery store and do it a different way. Tritails comes from a family ranch out in Texas. They're a fifth generation American ranch, so they've been at it for a while now. Look, the beef comes straight from their ranch and other ranchers they work with who raise cattle the same way. Their steaks are properly aged and shipped straight from the ranch to your door. We threw a couple of rib eyes on the grill. Look, salt, pepper, garlic, hot fire. That's all you need. Look, because I tell you what, when the beef comes from people who raise cattle for a living, you can taste the difference. The tenderness and the flavor are fantastic. So if you're stocking the freezer for grilling season, go check out Tritels beef. I know in size case. Christine loves it, which is just a. She doesn't eat meat.
Si Robertson
She's being a big me. These are folks.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, just go to tribe.com duck that's tribe.com duck support ranch families and eat some dang good steak.
Si Robertson
All right. You could go in anywhere in a dressed up deal and just fit right in.
Martin Robertson
Are you sure?
Si Robertson
I'm serious. It looks that good.
Jase Robertson
You could go just anywhere you wanted.
Si Robertson
You could go to when Donald Trump and Vance and all them was at the dinner.
Martin Robertson
Oh, the White House.
Jase Robertson
And you think there would have been. No, you could have, you know, hey,
Si Robertson
you'd have been probably saying, hey, the best dressed man there.
Jase Robertson
You think Marco Rubio could have pulled that off?
Si Robertson
He would look good at. No, Rubio would look good in the T shirt.
Jase Robertson
Little Marco, if you're listening.
Martin Robertson
Little Marco. I forgot what he called him. He don't call him Little Marco anymore. Yeah.
Si Robertson
Who?
Martin Robertson
Rubio?
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Because he wears tuxedo T shirts.
Si Robertson
Well, no, he's just.
Jase Robertson
He's my favorite. I like the Internet. I like anytime something happens and they put Marco.
Martin Robertson
Ruby is now googling pictures.
Si Robertson
I'll put it this way. When he talks.
Martin Robertson
I remember that one.
Si Robertson
You don't think he's a politician? He talks just like we do most of the time.
Martin Robertson
I'd have to listen to him to know which time.
Jase Robertson
I only see pictures of him and
Si Robertson
I'm saying, hey, look at the audio and didn't have a picture.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
You would never say, hey, that's a politician. He's just a regular dude. It just says it like it is.
Martin Robertson
You probably feel the same way about Mr. Kennedy from here.
Si Robertson
Who?
Martin Robertson
Our senator Kennedy.
Jase Robertson
You know, that's my dad's favorite politician. You could trade baseball cards.
Si Robertson
I don't talk about him. Don't talk about him. That dude's one of my favorites.
Jase Robertson
Hilarious.
Martin Robertson
If you didn't see him and just heard him talk, you would think you were at the local co op.
Jase Robertson
Yeah, like, let me tell you something.
Si Robertson
Those who work their.
Martin Robertson
That's what I'm saying. You think you were sitting at the table at the co op drinking coffee.
Jase Robertson
That's who he didn't get on this show. Senator John Kennedy.
Si Robertson
Oh, what you talking about?
John Luke Robertson
So he's the one that said, if you're against the police force and next time you have an emergency, why don't you call a crackhead?
Martin Robertson
Yeah,
John Luke Robertson
that's close to what he said.
Martin Robertson
I think that's word for word. Yeah, the.
Jase Robertson
He has got some quotes.
Martin Robertson
Oh, yeah, he's a. He's a walking. Oh, he's a walking meme generator. That's for sure.
John Luke Robertson
Get him in here, Hunter.
Si Robertson
He just wanted. I call a wit, man.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah, very witty.
Jase Robertson
Yep. Send an email, Hunter.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
You're not gonna. You're not gonna ever catch him off guard. I'll put it that way. Oh, I just always have something to come back on you with. Don't ever doubt it.
Martin Robertson
You have Senator Kennedy's top quote.
Jase Robertson
I have Kennedy isms.
Si Robertson
Oh.
Jase Robertson
On bad advice, you can get a goat to climb a tree, but you'd be better off hiring a squirrel. It's the truth. It is the truth.
Martin Robertson
That's fantastic, Hunter.
Jase Robertson
Is this what you just said?
Si Robertson
Analogies. Oh, no.
Jase Robertson
Unquestionable.
Martin Robertson
Oh, there's his tuxedo T shirt.
Jase Robertson
Situations.
John Luke Robertson
Martin. Found it.
Jase Robertson
No, I found it.
John Luke Robertson
Oh, good, Hunter.
Jase Robertson
How did you do that while we were.
Si Robertson
Hey, Hunters. Hey. Hunger's a man. Was.
Martin Robertson
And you're trying to tell me that's classy?
Si Robertson
Hey, that is classy.
Jase Robertson
Classy.
Martin Robertson
Yep.
John Luke Robertson
Look.
Si Robertson
Hey, sigh.
John Luke Robertson
You look good.
Si Robertson
I don't look good.
Martin Robertson
So his isn't a tuxedo T shirt. You're gonna have to Google, like, tie T shirt. It's just a tie because that ain't even a tux.
Hunter
That's why it was hard to find. I was typing in tux T shirt.
Si Robertson
You can roll it up if it gets hot.
Jase Robertson
I thought you said it was.
Martin Robertson
Wasn't.
Si Robertson
Oh, no, I got it rolled up.
Jase Robertson
You rolled the long sleeves all the way up.
Si Robertson
Okay.
Martin Robertson
Oh, man, look at that guy.
John Luke Robertson
And he's got. He's got one that's. That looks a lot like that, but it's a. It's like a full tux T shirt.
Martin Robertson
What were you talking about right there?
Si Robertson
No, no, I'm looking. And Trying to figure out.
Martin Robertson
You got Marsha on one side.
Si Robertson
I know the woman on the left.
Jase Robertson
That's Ashley.
John Luke Robertson
Oh, yeah.
Jase Robertson
Corey Fister, my cousin. Oh, Ashley. But we. I don't subscribe to Billboard, so they're blurring the words out. Oh, I'm releasing his new song,
Martin Robertson
Me and My Smoking Hot Honey.
John Luke Robertson
Garth Brooks. Brooks and Don.
Jase Robertson
It was your EP release, man.
Martin Robertson
Oh, your music career still brings gold. Like that T shirt.
John Luke Robertson
That's probably where it came from.
Jase Robertson
Did you really call that T shirt classier than the other ones? What was classier about it? The fact that it was a full tie instead of a boat.
Si Robertson
Hey, look. And not only that, it was just like you didn't have it on.
Jase Robertson
Thank God.
Si Robertson
So comfortable.
Martin Robertson
Wow, man. God, I love you. Oh, man. Praise the Lord for Cy Robertson's. All I got to say.
Jase Robertson
I really do want to get Senator Kennedy in here while you're wearing that T shirt.
John Luke Robertson
Oh, have him interviewing and your cowboy hat.
Jase Robertson
That would be amazing. Here's another good one.
Si Robertson
That would be epic.
Jase Robertson
Okay, I'm not saying she was.
Si Robertson
Was Senator Kennedy. Oh, that would be great.
Jase Robertson
Here's another great quote from him. I'm not saying she's the stupid, stupidest person on earth, but she better hope the stupidest person doesn't die. Oh, I'm staying out of politics here. I'm just reading quotes. The brain is an amazing organ. It starts working in the mother's womb and doesn't stop until you get elected to Congress. Yeah, I need to tell Chuck Schumer that he doesn't need a bag for his face. He needs one for his personality. John Kennedy from Louisiana. What part of. What part of Louisiana is he from? Because, you know, we got, like, seven different states in one rolled up in this joint.
Martin Robertson
Oh, he got to be from up here somewhere, huh? Yeah, he ain't South. South because he ain't got to act.
Jase Robertson
I could see him being somewhere weird like Winsboro.
Martin Robertson
Well, that's what. That's why I was referred to up here. I mean, that's.
Jase Robertson
He was. Oh, he's born in. Mrs. I don't understand politics. He was born in Mississippi.
Martin Robertson
There you go.
Jase Robertson
He was raised in Zachary.
John Luke Robertson
Oh, yeah.
Martin Robertson
He must have spent a lot of time in Mississippi because he doesn't have the Zachary dialect down. Zachary. Baton Rouge, right? Yeah. Yeah, to the east of it. Yeah, that's what I thought.
Jase Robertson
Many went to law school in Virginia. That sucker is just as redneck as they come.
Martin Robertson
That's what I'm talking.
Jase Robertson
The actual deal.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah, he's he's witty.
Martin Robertson
He's starting to sound more like a mutt, which makes a lot of sense, right? Like they the best dogs.
Jase Robertson
Well, Senator Kennedy, if you're listening, I got a couple questions for you. Why. But. Come on down.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, he ain't.
John Luke Robertson
But he ain't listening.
Martin Robertson
He might.
Jase Robertson
Somebody he knows is for sure. Oh, guaranteed he's got a grandson that listens to this. Why did you think that was so funny?
John Luke Robertson
Hunter? He's picking up some new. Some new words from psy probably.
Martin Robertson
That's a pretty good. Good one there. Yeah, the.
Jase Robertson
I think if we got him in here, that would be the first person my dad would be like. All right, I'm coming with you. Because he cracks my dad up anyway. Martin, what you doing over there?
Martin Robertson
Interesting.
Si Robertson
You got to think about it this way. Think about all the crap he's had to put up with.
Martin Robertson
Who, Kennedy?
Si Robertson
Yeah. Over his years in. In. In politics.
Martin Robertson
Oh, yeah. There's a reason.
Si Robertson
And he still got a good sense of humor.
Martin Robertson
There's a reason none of us sign up for it.
Si Robertson
Hold on.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Oh, I could take it now.
Martin Robertson
You'd be.
Si Robertson
I couldn't take.
John Luke Robertson
I would be in jail.
Martin Robertson
Oh, yeah.
Si Robertson
I got. Hey, I got a daughter who is. Is big in the politics. And I asked her, I said, what are you doing? She said, dad, somebody's got to do it. And I said, well, yeah, you're right there. Okay.
Jase Robertson
Yeah, somebody gotta sell worms, too.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, somebody got talking to a can. Sign us up.
Jase Robertson
I ain't doing no politics.
Si Robertson
No.
Jase Robertson
Well, they're so mean to each other.
Martin Robertson
I bet they're all friends.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah. Like WWE restaurant.
Martin Robertson
How much you won't bet. They put on their little. They put on their little deal, go in their deal, fight with each other, and then when they leave, there they sitting at the same place eating dinner. It's because they're all lizard having a drink or whatever.
Jase Robertson
Do you think any of them are lizard people?
Si Robertson
No,
Martin Robertson
no.
John Luke Robertson
I can think of a few.
Martin Robertson
There's a couple of them that are really akin to snakes, though.
Si Robertson
In the 60s, when you were saying this, I'd say, yeah, they like that now.
Martin Robertson
Yeah. Oh, I think it's all an act. I really.
John Luke Robertson
They get along a lot better than you think.
Martin Robertson
That's what I mean. You have to. To some level. You are co workers like to get anything done. You have to at least be willing to listen. Now, when they get a microphone. Yeah. Then, no, they can't get along at all. Of course, that one. That one heifer, she'd be tough to get along with.
Jase Robertson
I'm not.
Martin Robertson
I mean, I'm just saying.
Jase Robertson
Just say, I'm not going down the road. I don't even know who you're talking about.
Martin Robertson
Don't want to able one. She would just be really hard to get along with. But I just.
Jase Robertson
I'm a John Kennedy man because he makes me laugh.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah.
Martin Robertson
Oh, yeah. There's a few of them that are hilarious, man. Like that old boy from West Virginia is probably pretty cool too. The one that everybody hates. The Fetterman guy or whatever. Ain't that his name?
Jase Robertson
He's from Pennsylvania.
Martin Robertson
Pennsylvania.
Jase Robertson
I thought he dresses like sigh. He's like, what? I wore my tuxedo T shirt and
Si Robertson
shorts and he's the only one that just tells it like it is.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, Yeah. I mean, I think me and him have fun.
Si Robertson
He says, hey, I don't get it.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, I think we'd get along just fine.
Si Robertson
We've lost what we used to have. They're nothing like what they was, you know? You know, back when, when I was a kid.
Martin Robertson

Jase Robertson
We should have Fetterman on Actually, if you're a senator and you want to come on anybody.
Martin Robertson
I don't care who you are.
Jase Robertson
The we will go politics, and we will ask you your opinion on Kennedy and whoever the mystery woman Martin's talking
Si Robertson
about, and we'll give you our opinion.
Martin Robertson
I have breakfast buffets.
Si Robertson
Ooh.
Jase Robertson
And Shoney's.
Martin Robertson
We promise not to. We promise to stay in the shallow end.
John Luke Robertson
Oh, I could call Senator Kathy Stewart.
Martin Robertson
He state. He state. Right.
Jase Robertson
He knows somebody.
Martin Robertson
Yeah. Yeah.
John Luke Robertson
I mean, he would. He would definitely come in here.
Martin Robertson
He's the one. Oh, I. He'd actually be kind of funny. Yeah, but he's the one that took on all them speeding cameras.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah, he hated the speed cameras.
Martin Robertson
Speeding cameras.
John Luke Robertson
He did.
Martin Robertson
He's the one that said, no.
Jase Robertson
I got sent to collections, by the way.
Martin Robertson
I tell you.
Jase Robertson
Oh, for over $11.
Martin Robertson
For what?
Jase Robertson
To get to Disney World, apparently. We went down a toll road. We got a piece of paper in the mail, didn't pay it. And then Allison goes. We've been turned over to collections, So I don't know what my credit score is. Not over $11.
Si Robertson
That happened to me in Germany.
Martin Robertson
Well, Brittany had a warrant out for her.
John Luke Robertson
Were you driving?
Si Robertson
No, no, it was my car. Or it used to be my car in Germany. They kept. And I mean, it was. It was some serious cash.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Y' all tell me, hey, yeah, you owe this. You're gonna pay. And I said, hey, I don't think so, buddy.
Martin Robertson
Did you pay your 11 bucks?
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Oh, as quick as I could.
Si Robertson
It was a big deal.
Jase Robertson
No, but I had to pay. I had to pay an extra 6 to the collections company for coming after me.
Si Robertson
This is. This is your car, and you're gonna pay it. I said, nope.
John Luke Robertson
But it wasn't your car anymore.
Si Robertson
No, I sold it.
John Luke Robertson
Oh, yeah. They can't get you.
Jase Robertson
Oh, but they can try.
Si Robertson
Oh, that. I sold that years ago. What? It was a Mercedes, Ben.
Jase Robertson
Oh, I got to go.
Martin Robertson
Go ahead.
Si Robertson
Yeah. Yo, but they run out. Okay, hold on. Stoplight. You know, was. The cameras took it. Said, oh, I thought you drive it. I said, oh, no. Today. Me driving. That's. That's the car I own for, like, two years.
John Luke Robertson
Well, they're still doing it. Sigh. They're doing it right. Right here in Louisiana.
Martin Robertson
What's that? Oh, the traffic camera.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
I don't pay them.
John Luke Robertson
Oh, no, I'm not. No, No.
Jase Robertson
I don't drive faster when you go past it. Then don't pay them.
Si Robertson
It's illegal.
John Luke Robertson
That's right.
Martin Robertson
Yeah. I'm Just I was told, I don't even want to. I don't even want to go down that road. Like, I just.
Jase Robertson
Okay, well, apparently I paid it quick enough where they didn't drop my score over your credit score for $11. But I got straight turned over by collections by the state of Florida for 11 bucks. For 11 bucks. Which. And. And hey, I wasn't trying to get over on you, Florida. Yeah, if that's your rules and your toll roads and got me to Disney World quicker eight months ago. I appreciate it, but you don't. You don't have to ruin my credit score over this. Just call me.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, that's kind of like we did. Brittany was in a little fender bender. Nothing, just dumb. I mean, so we paid everything, you know, and had to get the letter of the insurance saying that it was covered. Blah, blah, blah, blah. All the stuff you got to do on that stuff just so you don't have to go to court. Like, who wants to go to traffic court, right? Ain't nobody trying to do that.
Jase Robertson
Just let me pay it and get out.
Martin Robertson
Well, then we turned it into the wrong court. So one of our friends is a officer, said, you realize your wife just had a warrant issued for her arrest? And I was like, do what?
Jase Robertson
Praise the Lord.
John Luke Robertson
Go get her.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, I said, go pick her up. I said, you want me sender. Where she. You want me to send you where she is right now? I said, it'd be kind of. I said, but I need to be there so we can film it that way. It'd be kind of fun, you know. And he was like, what? He said, what was this about? I said, well, we turned everything in and he finally found it. It went to the city court instead of going to the parish because it was technically state trooper and our county. If you are listening, you're not from Louisiana. We got parishes. So, yeah, then, yeah, county. And then had to hit up the DA's office. And they're like, oh, yeah, never mind, we'll get it. Like, y'.
Si Robertson
All.
Martin Robertson
Y' all done everything. Hold on. We'll get rid of this. But it was funny, the fact for 24 hours she had a warrant out for her.
John Luke Robertson
That's crazy.
Jase Robertson
You never know.
Martin Robertson
You never know because kids these days,
Jase Robertson
and by kids, I mean 37 year old grown men with three children don't check the mail that well.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, well, ours was fine. We did everything just. It went to the wrong place. It just.
Jase Robertson
Do you check your mail?
Martin Robertson
Yeah, I still get a lot of stuff by mail, so.
Jase Robertson
But it's always just, like, coupons and trash.
Martin Robertson
No, there's important letters in there. I mean, my water bill.
Jase Robertson
Clearly, I got turned over this morning. Yeah, you don't just get your water emailed to you.
Martin Robertson
I do, but I get a paper receipt. Because we had that one time where the water bills got dumb for some reason.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah.
Martin Robertson
And they said it was a water leak. And I was like, well, y' all are welcome to come out here and inspect, but it ain't no leak here.
John Luke Robertson
Not on my side.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, it's on the wrong way on the wrong side of this thing, bro. Like, so. Yeah, I keep a paper trail on some of that stuff because mainly I got trust issues with them. I say, and we need Aaron Brockovich here.
John Luke Robertson
But, you know, well, back in the day, Amber. Amber was going to college and driving back, she got a ticket. But the ticket had Alicia's information on it, you know, from the registration. It didn't have Amber's name on it anywhere. And Amber's crying.
Martin Robertson
She was like, I got a ticket.
John Luke Robertson
I was like, no, your mama. Your mama got a ticket, and we didn't have to pay it. The guy.
Jase Robertson
That's what's crazy. You know, you can't. You can't be writing tickets when you don't know, like, with cameras. I'm against it.
Martin Robertson
Oh, cameras.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Martin Robertson
That's a.
Si Robertson
That's like, when we went through, I. I didn't do something properly with.
John Luke Robertson
With stopping, turning, speeding.
Si Robertson
No, no.
John Luke Robertson
Oh, okay.
Si Robertson
No, no. It's when we would. I couldn't. I couldn't get my truck. No. You know, brought up to snuff all. Everything.
Martin Robertson
Oh, registration.
John Luke Robertson
Oh, yeah. When he was selling his old truck.
Jase Robertson
Oh, God.
Si Robertson
Hey. I just got. Kept pulling out all these different places.
John Luke Robertson
They were saying that was a nightmare. The DMV was killing.
Si Robertson
They were saying, nope, nope, nope. You got to do it. So finally, I went to somewhere to do something.
John Luke Robertson
Well, we got an attorney, and he signed off on all of our paperwork, and he was like, here's how you're going to have to handle it.
Si Robertson
And. But it took me forever for I could actually get the paperwork to put my truck legally on the road.
Martin Robertson
That sounds all right.
Si Robertson
You know, this ignorant, you know, so when you said I went to the
Jase Robertson
wrong place, that's because you had to pay tax.
Si Robertson
You better send it to the right place or it's going to come. It's going to bite you in the butt.
Martin Robertson
I was just thankful to have a friend out there that was. Happened to be scrolling through all that stuff. To make sure. Like, you know, not. Not even to make sure. He was like, yo, but what. What's the deal here? And I was like, oh, man.
Si Robertson
I finally.
Martin Robertson
Because if not, Brittany would have probably ended up pulled over where the boys would have been with her, and she goes to jail.
John Luke Robertson
They're calling child protection.
Martin Robertson
And I probably. I'm probably out of town when this happens.
Jase Robertson
So you know, you know how magical that would have been.
John Luke Robertson
I've been terrible.
Martin Robertson
For who? Not for me or the people.
Jase Robertson
Listen to this podcast.
Martin Robertson
Oh, no.
Jase Robertson
After we sorted it all out, it'd
Si Robertson
been funny just for a little while,
Jase Robertson
but hey, it had been funny after. Afterwards, not. Not during. No, not during.
Martin Robertson
No, not during or for the next two weeks. It would have taken a little bit.
Jase Robertson
Whenever I was just picking up your kids off the side of the road
Si Robertson
and just lose their mind. Now, I'd already went to about 10 places and I finally just. They sent me to another place and when I went in there and I said, hey, look, here's the story and here's the plate and here's all this stuff, I said, how in the hell do I fix this?
Jase Robertson
Yes.
Si Robertson
Of these, the only whom? The lady said, you ain't no problem.
Martin Robertson
Hey, what did you say, though?
Si Robertson
I'll fix it for you right now. It took this woman about five minutes to fix it and then handed me all the paperwork that I needed.
John Luke Robertson
Once we had all the paperwork, let me tell you.
Jase Robertson
Yeah, but you're lucky you found the
Si Robertson
right woman because went on for three months.
Martin Robertson
Well, did you. Do you see our latest news, though? Well, we're getting rid of inspection stickers, right?
Jase Robertson
No more inspection stickers in Louisiana.
Martin Robertson
No more. More 1-1-127. You ain't worried about that no more.
Jase Robertson
It will replace the traditional ten dollar inspection sticker with a six dollar QR code.
Martin Robertson
Wait, what?
Jase Robertson
What?
Martin Robertson
We still got to go do that. I thought them things were just gone. Like, gone gone.
John Luke Robertson
So if you got a broken windshield and you live in Louisiana, don't go get your inspections.
Martin Robertson
If you live in Louisiana, you've got
Jase Robertson
a broken window, the QR code will open.
Martin Robertson
Oh, there's no. There is a rock.
John Luke Robertson
That's probably true.
Martin Robertson
I don't know if people are throwing them. I don't know if there's people in the bushes shooting rocks at windshield.
Si Robertson
Yeah, I know.
John Luke Robertson
It's coming from the truck that says not responsible for your broken glass.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
John Luke Robertson
Out in front of you.
Martin Robertson
And I guess that makes it okay.
John Luke Robertson
Oh, yeah, I can put a. Shall we put it not responsible And I'm
Martin Robertson
going to put a sticker on ours. Is not responsible for the speed that I go like does that make that okay?
John Luke Robertson
Do not give me a.
Si Robertson
That was state trooper.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, that's what I'm saying. At what level does that work? At what level does that quit work? It won't work like the.
Jase Robertson
Okay, hold on. That is true.
Si Robertson
We.
Jase Robertson
We're somehow getting rid of what's it called?
Martin Robertson
Inspection.
Jase Robertson
Inspection stickers.
Martin Robertson
That's good news for your brother. I noticed his though or brother in law. I noticed his other day went out in like January of 25. Drew's just out there raw dogging it.
Jase Robertson
So don't be talking about my family and do not look at our inspection stickers until this thing is over. We've been planning on this thing passing for a while.
Martin Robertson
He's been banking on this.
John Luke Robertson
He's saving money.
Si Robertson
Yeah. Hey, the change. Daylight saving time.
Jase Robertson
The other thing that passed the bill to make daylight savings time permanent passed again here let go through in Washington D.C. oh, they've done it again.
Si Robertson
Forget the clocks boys.
Jase Robertson
The Sunshine Protection act is back in play.
Martin Robertson
Is that the one we want?
Jase Robertson
The one I want the one to get dark. I'm going to get an angry email
Si Robertson
from somebody and save us about $2 billion Michigan we ought to do. That's one of the things somebody said.
Martin Robertson
Save us what?
Si Robertson
$2 billion.
Martin Robertson
How?
Si Robertson
I don't know. But hey, they was talking about it and said hey, it saves $2 billion. Really flip flopping time.
Jase Robertson
Well, mainly because a bunch of corporate schmucks pay people too much to switch the clocks back and forth apparently. But imagine being Delta Airlines and all of a sudden the clocks change. You got to have somebody pretty smart in charge of that day. I guess. I don't know. I'd hate it.
Martin Robertson
I always took it for granted. You go to sleep, you wake up Ms. Jane, you fall.
Jase Robertson
Yeah, but somebody did that. Yeah, somebody changed everything.
Martin Robertson
I just assumed at that point this was all computer driven and it's not a person anymore but.
Jase Robertson
Well, somebody's got to control the computer.
Martin Robertson
Not anymore. Computer controls itself. Now.
Jase Robertson
There's a bunch of people that are going to be mad that it happens. There's a bunch of people going to be happy that it happens. And we'll see what happens.
Martin Robertson
So like duck legal shooting hours and duck season will be like 7:30.
Jase Robertson
Praise the Lord.
Martin Robertson
Praise God for that.
Si Robertson
That's what I'm saying.
Jase Robertson
And it'll stay light longer. But some people are gonna be like, ah, my kids gotta go to school in the dark.
Martin Robertson
I get it out of the darkness and into the light, folks.
Jase Robertson
And just hang out outside afterwards, you
Si Robertson
know what I'm saying?
Martin Robertson
Out of the darkness and into the lights.
John Luke Robertson
It'll be his kids.
Martin Robertson
That'd be my kids. It'd be fine.
Jase Robertson
My kids go in the dark. I'm fine with it. I want to get home and it'd be light. But there's a lot of people.
Martin Robertson
I'd rather them go to school in the dark than get home in the dark.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah, that's true.
Martin Robertson
I'd rather have an hour after school outside than an hour before school when they're still asleep and it's daylight. Like that's. Yeah, I'm cool with that. Yeah, yeah. Imagine no more three o' clock setting your alarms.
Jase Robertson
Oh,
Martin Robertson
wait.
Jase Robertson
I mean, can you imagine getting off work in December and it's daylight still, even if it's just for a minute.
Martin Robertson
Yeah. Well. And you're not trapped inside like my kids are fastly approaching the age where that won't be as big of a deal where you can do more. But that little while where it gets dark at 5:30 and you're like you, you're waiting on 7:30 for bedtime and it's just pitch black dark right now. You just send them outside, send them out there and then it's hard to get them in at 7:30. Hey, y' all come on in now.
John Luke Robertson
I like to get home in time to do a little yard work if I need to.
Martin Robertson
Peddling?
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Martin Robertson
High level piddling. I left. I liked. I love some high level piddling. I don't want a full blown project, but I do like some high level pidding.
John Luke Robertson
Piddle around in the daylight.
Martin Robertson
We got any emails we're talking about? Are we good?
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Oh, do I?
Martin Robertson
Yeah. What you got?
Jase Robertson
Tracy?
Martin Robertson
Tracy, Hello.
Jase Robertson
Tracy emailed in an article from Fox. Fox, A real Fox article. 5.56 million subscribers. They're making me watch an ad. First look at this old gal spotted in Arizona. We're not watching the whole interview.
Martin Robertson
Mountain lion.
Jase Robertson
It's a jack.
Si Robertson
You are.
Martin Robertson
How am I supposed to tell that from an infrared?
Jase Robertson
Well, I think they got other photos.
John Luke Robertson
Oh no, there you go.
Martin Robertson
That one got spots. That one now, now that one is a Jaguar.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
100% southern Arizona mountains. There's jaguars.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Tracy emails in specifically for you. Martin, that's awesome. And says I know. If there's a jaguar in Arizona, why can't there be a panther in Louisiana?
Si Robertson
Pretty animal, pretty animal, beautiful animal.
Jase Robertson
Come on, Martin, defend it.
Martin Robertson
There's no such thing as a black panther. There could be a black jack.
Si Robertson
Here's it. Here's the thing.
Jase Robertson
What was this?
Martin Robertson
That's a bear.
Si Robertson
What. What is that?
Jase Robertson
What zoo do they have this in?
Martin Robertson
That's a bar.
Jase Robertson
What's going on in
Si Robertson
what. What does that animal weigh right there? That's cat.
Martin Robertson
I don't know. I ain't ever seen one.
John Luke Robertson
One. 100?
Martin Robertson
Yeah, I would say 100, 110 pounds. I don't know. There's a mule deer. Boy, everybody walking by that. And a bobcat.
Jase Robertson
Bobby, somebody put a camera in a great location in there.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, yeah. That is a.
John Luke Robertson
By the food.
Martin Robertson
Oh, that's tight. That's a ring tail. Yep. There's a fox right there.
John Luke Robertson
Foxy.
Martin Robertson
Oh, this is the pinch point of all pinch points right here, man. Good on you for putting this camera out. That's awesome.
Jase Robertson
All right, well, I fully believe all those animals can be in southern Arizona. Then we can have a Black Panther.
Si Robertson
150.
Martin Robertson
150.
John Luke Robertson
Oh, what do you want to give for it now? Size bidding? 150 on something.
Si Robertson
150 is what the cat weighs.
Martin Robertson
I didn't know what he was talking about again. No, that's cool.
Si Robertson
But that. That jaguar is a pretty animal.
Martin Robertson
That was cool. Yeah, I got. Me and him are tight. I got. No. I don't want to hunt him. I don't want him on me. We're good, bro. But, yeah, no, he's. He's cool. My. All them big cats are cool. They just scare me to death.
John Luke Robertson
You just don't like the big birds that attack you.
Martin Robertson
That ostrich is. He's a worthy adversary. I ain't after him either.
Jase Robertson
Another email.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Go Cameron from Tyler, Texas. He's getting married one month from today.
Martin Robertson
Congrats.
Jase Robertson
But my favorite part of the email, he said, what's up, men, comma and hunter.
Si Robertson
Oh.
Jase Robertson
It was just a slight stray, and it made me happy. He's getting married in a year. They're both young and starting life together. What advice do y' all have for us on saving money and growing together? Don't get a hot dog roller because that's. That's level 15 marriage stuff.
Martin Robertson
Yeah. Saving money. Just eat at home. That's the easiest way to save money. Don't eat out.
John Luke Robertson
Eat leftovers.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, but
Jase Robertson
you didn't see how he looked at you when he said it.
Martin Robertson
Switch to Cricket Wireless.
Jase Robertson
I don't know, Sam.
Si Robertson
Learn to laugh a lot together.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
John Luke Robertson
Become friends first and. And make it. I mean, some people treat their friends better than they do their wives. So, you know, I love my wife, but you won't clean the dishes. You won't help out around the house. Be able to be friends and do the things that you would do for just any friend.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, I love it, man. Have fun, man. Enjoy it. That's. It's a process. You're not going to be great at it at first. And.
Jase Robertson
Oh, but he's in Tyler, So he's in, like, kind of the mecca of all things. Great.
John Luke Robertson
It's a good location.
Martin Robertson
Zoo great. Berkshire's grocery company.
Jase Robertson
Well, and then you're right close to the Buckies.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
You're, like, kind of central. You're kind of like Monroe. Monroe's central to a lot of cool stuff.
Martin Robertson
Yeah, the. Yeah, no, that'll be.
Jase Robertson
Here's some grants. Here's some advice on how to save money. If you go to the zoo and Tyler, it's $40. But you, since you're right there, could probably get an annual pass and your kids go free up until they're three. So I wonder how much an annual pass is that zoo is so tight.
Martin Robertson
The. Yeah, I don't know. I guess we're about done. I will say I'm trying to think
Jase Robertson
of a better way to spend money than just eat at home. Learn how to cook.
Martin Robertson
That's the easiest.
Jase Robertson
Watch the pioneer woman and learn how to cook.
Martin Robertson
Like, when you sit down and look at how much you spend versus eating out versus one meal at home. Now, granted, the grocery store is way more expensive. Still cheaper than out there, you know, but.
Si Robertson
Oh, man.
John Luke Robertson
And I like. I like what size said, you know, laugh a lot.
Martin Robertson
Oh, grace and mercy are key here, buddy. You're gonna expect it, so the only way to expect it is to give it. That's all I gotta tell you.
Jase Robertson
Don't lie to yourself. I think that's what. When we walked out of doing the Newlywed Game, we're like, yeah, that was easy. Because.
Martin Robertson
Oh, yeah.
Jase Robertson
We both knew what each other was gonna say because we're not too proud to say, like, no, I. I lose my keys all the time. I never know where they're at.
Si Robertson
One other thing. Respect each other.
Martin Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Treat each other with respect.
Martin Robertson
And I think I'd be remiss. Leave it here. Look. Thoughts and prayers out. There's a lot of people dealing with a lot of stuff. And this one is kind of weird, but he won the 2016 Duck Commander 500. Kyle Busch, his family. That was a crazy, crazy thing. He and I are the same age. So the fact. And I'm certain he was in better shape than I am. So if it can happen to him, it can happen to anybody. He's got a young family, wife, kids, leaving behind. So, again, he was. He was always so kind to us. When we did the three years of the NASCAR deal, like, as title sponsors of the race, you get a little more access to the drivers. Then he always went out of his way to shake our hands, talk to us. So. Speaks to the character that he had. I know a lot of people saw him in NASCAR as a villain, but I can speak to him from off the track. Was a very kind human being. So hate to see that. And we know a lot of y' all watch nascar, so I'm sure y' all were watching along with it this weekend. But, hey, hate for that to happen to anybody. And we know we get a lot of prayer requests, so just know, man, our thoughts and prayers are with all you guys battling. There's a bunch of battles going on out there, whether it be sickness, jobs, security, marriages. All the things. We love each and every one of you guys, so. And thank y' all for your support.
Jase Robertson
And here's a verse about how powerful God is and Daylight savings Time. But you didn't think I could pull that off. But I can. Because in Joshua, there's a fascinating story about whenever he prayed to the Lord to help him win a battle. And so the Lord did a. What I call. I don't even know what to call it.
John Luke Robertson
That's a pause, maybe.
Si Robertson
Yeah, just.
Jase Robertson
He hit the old pause button.
Martin Robertson
I gotta say. Timeout.
John Luke Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Lord said, time out. You guys are running. If it gets dark, we'll lose you. But in Joshua 10, verse 13. And go read this whole thing, because this is wild. So the sun stood still and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself itself on its enemies. As is written in the book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day.
Martin Robertson
That'd be wild.
Si Robertson
That'd be trippy.
John Luke Robertson
Whoa.
Martin Robertson
Wouldn't that be crazy?
Si Robertson
Yep.
Jase Robertson
And there's never been a day like it before or since.
Martin Robertson
So there you go. All right, we'll see y' all next time right here in the Duck.
Si Robertson
Put the brakes on, baby.
John Luke Robertson
Wild, Wild.
Martin Robertson
Sam.
