Carter Owen
You're all kinds of weird.
Phil Robertson
All right, are you ready?
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
Let's ask Hunter if he's ready.
Carter Owen
Hunter, are you ready? Oh, yeah.
Jase Robertson
All right.
Phil Robertson
Hunter's ready.
Jase Robertson
Am I ready?
Phil Robertson
I do not think so.
Si Robertson
I know I'm not. But let's roll with that.
Phil Robertson
Are you ready?
Carter Owen
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
Oh, okay.
Si Robertson
Welcome back. Welcome back. We have a special guest in the duck call room today. We have the future. I don't know, 57th President of the United States of America.
Phil Robertson
Somewhere in that number.
Si Robertson
Yeah. Somewhere between 57 and 60. We won't box you in. Too bad. But Carter, Owen. Welcome, welcome.
Phil Robertson
He finally has made it here.
Jase Robertson
That's right.
Phil Robertson
Do you have anything to tell the people? Your opening statement. This is it. This is your chance.
Carter Owen
I love. I love Abe Lincoln.
Phil Robertson
There we go.
Si Robertson
Okay.
Jase Robertson
All right.
Si Robertson
There we go.
Jase Robertson
Honestly.
Carter Owen
But he actually got assassin at the worst theater in the world. Death theater is not what I call it because of death actors.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, well, he did get assassinated, so he can't talk to him. Also, he'd be about 200 years old, but.
Si Robertson
Yeah. Besides still here.
Jase Robertson
But just think of the wisdom he would have.
Phil Robertson
Who?
Jase Robertson
Abraham lived at 200 years old.
Phil Robertson
He probably had a lot back then.
Carter Owen
Yeah, actually, he might be. So he was born in 1809, and then he might be 205. I meant 15 years old. 215. So you're just 15.
Phil Robertson
February 12, 1809. That was the year Abraham Lincoln was born. And this is my son.
Si Robertson
Praise God.
Phil Robertson
He knows a lot of facts about a lot of presidents.
Si Robertson
There is hope for America, and Abraham.
Phil Robertson
Lincoln will be 215. If he was still alive today, I.
Si Robertson
Had no idea that he was born in 1809. Carter. Great. Unbelievable. Good job.
Carter Owen
I actually, in second grade, it told us the year he was born and also the year he was, you know, assassinated.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. You can try not to talk, you know, about violence and stuff.
Si Robertson
Yeah. We can talk about true history, though. That. That. That did happen. So you love Abe Lincoln. Is. Is Abe your favorite president?
Carter Owen
Yeah. George Washington's my second.
Si Robertson
George Washington's number two. All right, well, let's just go for top three.
Carter Owen
Oh, yeah. Okay. Number three, Donald Trump.
Phil Robertson
Okay.
Carter Owen
For this. For this young. After he got shot. For the first. For the first time. Number two is George Washington. And also number one to Avengers. Of course.
Si Robertson
Okay.
Phil Robertson
Of course.
Si Robertson
Okay. I'm noticing a pattern. Most of his favorites have been shot at.
Phil Robertson
He likes tough men.
Si Robertson
Interesting. I like it.
Carter Owen
Actually. Actually, like, 8th versus assassination was his last one.
Si Robertson
That's true.
Phil Robertson
That was the last time he Got shot at for sure.
Carter Owen
Well, he actually, he also got shot when he was riding a horse in the middle of the woods. Actually, his hat got shot. And when he got home, Tad. Tad was like, man, you're really lucky you wear that tall hat. I can see a hole.
Phil Robertson
I did not know that story.
Carter Owen
Yeah. And I did not know that Tad was at Ford's Theater, right in my Action President book. Like, it. Like, he didn't look like Tad, but he was Tad. And I'm like, that guy has long hair. How is he tagged?
Phil Robertson
I don't know. Hey, I have a question for you. How many president books do you own?
Carter Owen
Let me count them.
Phil Robertson
Well, just give me a rough estimate.
Carter Owen
Five.
Phil Robertson
Okay.
Si Robertson
Just five?
Carter Owen
Yeah. One of April, two Abe Rica books, one George Washington book, and two books about all the presents.
Jase Robertson
Okay.
Carter Owen
Actually, another one is weird about true president facts.
Phil Robertson
That's true.
Carter Owen
Actually, another one is about their pets.
Phil Robertson
All right. Size. Got a question.
Jase Robertson
I got a question for you, Carter. Okay.
Si Robertson
You're.
Jase Robertson
You've been elected president. What would you. On your first inaugural address, what would you tell the people that thanks for.
Carter Owen
Voting me and hope for them to vote me next year?
Martin
That's right.
Phil Robertson
Campaigning.
Si Robertson
Yeah, well, you're never not campaigning, right?
Phil Robertson
I mean, thanks for voting for me. Go ahead and run. Go run this one back.
Martin
Do it again.
Carter Owen
And also, if I die, please, just, please go to my funeral.
Jase Robertson
There you go. There you go.
Phil Robertson
Hit the bell.
Jase Robertson
Look, that's the least thing do if you done died for the country or.
Carter Owen
If I die in office because of. Because of. I don't get a student's name yet. Because. Because I hadn't got assassin.
Phil Robertson
Oh, yeah. He doesn't know the shooter's name either.
Martin
Would you wear a tall hat?
Carter Owen
Why would I do that? Those were way back in the.
Jase Robertson
No, he don't. He's. Hey, he don't move.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, that's not stylish anymore.
Jase Robertson
Phillip.
Si Robertson
Phillip. He ain't gotta wear a tall hat.
Phil Robertson
So what's the first rules you're making when you're president? We got some new rules coming in. What?
Jase Robertson
What.
Phil Robertson
What are we gonna do?
Carter Owen
They're hard to explain.
Phil Robertson
Oh, boy. Why are they hard to explain?
Carter Owen
Because, like, it's based on things I really hate.
Phil Robertson
Oh, you're getting rid of some things that you don't like, like homework.
Carter Owen
Why would I get rid of homework?
Phil Robertson
I thought that'd be a good rule. I like that rule. I would vote for a president who said no more homework.
Carter Owen
You had graduated college years ago, so.
Si Robertson
Yeah, and it only took him six years. Has he told you that part? Yep.
Phil Robertson
Easy, easy, easy.
Si Robertson
Carter, you just come visit me when you need. No Stu. Stuff about your dad. I got a lot.
Phil Robertson
So he does.
Carter Owen
He does trumps and Abe Lincoln's.
Phil Robertson
I don't know.
Si Robertson
I don't have any trumps. I do have a lot of Abe Lincoln's.
Carter Owen
The five dollar bill. He's a very polite guy. Before entering a room, he just goes, hey, I'm out here. Does anybody hear me?
Phil Robertson
He believes in Abraham. Abraham Lincoln's ghost is haunting the White House.
Carter Owen
Yeah, I have this book about Abe Lincoln's ghost. The famous. The most famous sign was like, when the Queen of the Netherlands just opened the door and he said, hi, and then she just slammed it right in his face. And they said, ow.
Phil Robertson
I don't know what any of that means.
Carter Owen
And then the queen fainted.
Si Robertson
The queen slammed the door into the.
Phil Robertson
Queen of the Netherlands and Abraham Lincoln's ghost were hanging out at some point.
Carter Owen
No, they weren't really hanging out. They were talking to Theodore Roosevelt and then they heard a knock. And then the queen just opened the door and then fainted and slammed the door right in Abe's face.
Phil Robertson
The other question that the people listening to this podcast want to know is, why do you wear this suit so much?
Carter Owen
Because. Because it reminds me of Abe Lincoln and all the other persons. Well, except for. Except for the bad ones, like Andrew Jackson, Biden.
Phil Robertson
Oh, Andrew Jackson and Biden. Those are the two on your hit list?
Carter Owen
Yeah, like he kicked the Indians. Indians. Like, more like West. Okay, forgot my directions.
Phil Robertson
What did Joe Biden do?
Carter Owen
Oh, he did. He was boring.
Phil Robertson
He was just boring. So your problem with Joe Biden is he's just boring?
Carter Owen
Yeah, and really, really annoying.
Si Robertson
I think he is more educated on the election at ten and a half. Then I'm going to go with roughly 30% of the electorate.
Martin
Or more.
Si Robertson
Or more. I'm putting the bottom at 30 with plenty of room for improvement.
Jase Robertson
It's higher.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, and we try to. We try to not let him learn so much because we want him to learn about kids stuff. And. Hey, don't give me that dirty look. You. You know a lot for a kid I know about.
Carter Owen
Like, I know about the. Never mind.
Si Robertson
Okay, what's your favorite subject in school? Carter. I'm interested.
Carter Owen
Social studies.
Si Robertson
So, well, that fits his Abe Lincoln. I was really hoping we could go down a science road maybe.
Phil Robertson
Oh, no. You want to hear about his math teacher?
Si Robertson
Math? What happened in math?
Phil Robertson
What's her name?
Carter Owen
My math teacher is very annoying.
Phil Robertson
Why?
Carter Owen
She does. She just does a lot of work.
Si Robertson
A lot of work.
Phil Robertson
What do you call her?
Carter Owen
Miss Works a Lot.
Si Robertson
Miss Works A Lot, but I decide.
Carter Owen
That you normally call her a Miss. Just because I don't want to get in trouble.
Phil Robertson
That's a good idea.
Carter Owen
But at home I call her Ms. Works A Lot.
Jase Robertson
Well, hey, maybe Ms. Works A Lot was kin to Abe because he worked a lot.
Si Robertson
There you go. Maybe I thought when you I.
Phil Robertson
That if you became president, you can make a no homework rule. That way Ms. Works a lot couldn't give you a lot of homework.
Carter Owen
Okay. We need homework, dad.
Si Robertson
Oh, wow. Now my man's. My man's added homework to his agenda. I like it.
Phil Robertson
We need homework. But Ms. Works a lot makes us work too much.
Carter Owen
But we. But we need it.
Phil Robertson
Why do we need homework?
Carter Owen
So we could study.
Phil Robertson
That's a good point.
Carter Owen
For our tests and quizzes and AR tests.
Phil Robertson
Do you make pretty good grades?
Carter Owen
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
Do you think Donald Trump made pretty good grades?
Carter Owen
Well, yeah, he's very tough.
Phil Robertson
Do you think Joe Biden made pretty good grades?
Carter Owen
Well, not his president grades.
Phil Robertson
Oh, boy. But what did you do that you don't like?
Carter Owen
You said he was a bad president.
Si Robertson
Oh, oh. Throwing strays at dad. Okay.
Carter Owen
All right.
Si Robertson
Well, what did. What did dad not like about him then? I'm interested.
Martin
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
Hey, we're not interviewing me here. Yeah, yeah, go ahead.
Si Robertson
Yeah, go ahead. Listen, you're the.
Phil Robertson
You're the subject of this podcast. Do you think that one day I'll face thinning hair?
Si Robertson
Oh, no doubt.
Phil Robertson
We all do.
Si Robertson
Time and pressure.
Phil Robertson
Is it genetics?
Si Robertson
Our friends over at Nutrafol have figured out there are six root causes of thinning hair hormones. We all got them.
Jase Robertson
Yep.
Si Robertson
Stress.

Si Robertson
Carter, did we go to the moon?
Carter Owen
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Oh, there you go. Dad, you know, your dad thinks that we didn't go to the moon.
Carter Owen
Dad, please go to a history class.
Phil Robertson
Oh, you got another famous person you need to talk about? Oh, because there's another pretty important date in American history that you like to study about. It was a bad day, right?
Carter Owen
Yeah. Lucas. Lucas something. I don't know his last name.
Phil Robertson
I don't know what you're talking about. Now, what are you. What event are you talking about?
Carter Owen
I'm talking about 9 11.
Phil Robertson
Oh, okay. Yeah. So you know a lot about 9 11, don't you?
Carter Owen
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
Who was the fire captain?
Carter Owen
That was Peter Gancy.
Jase Robertson
Peter.
Carter Owen
It's a guy named Chief Douglas in the I Survived book.
Phil Robertson
Okay. But Peter Gancy, he was a pretty much a hero, right?
Carter Owen
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
So what did Peter Gancy do, though?
Carter Owen
He saved a lot of lives.
Phil Robertson
He did.
Si Robertson
Is that him?
Carter Owen
And sleep.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
That picture's in his room.
Si Robertson
Really?
Carter Owen
Yeah.
Si Robertson
I do have a question for you, though. How do you think, because we get this comment a lot, Carter. That they're like Uncle Sigh for president. If you're just looking at this guy, how do you feel about his chances of president?
Martin
He's pretty tough.
Carter Owen
Wait, which way is he? Left or right?
Si Robertson
Oh, well, he's wearing blue, so, you know, take a shot.
Carter Owen
He looks pretty much like Andrew Johnson and Andrew Jackson together. But he looks like he may makes a great president.
Si Robertson
You look like he like a good president.
Phil Robertson
If Andrew Johnson and Andrew Jackson had a baby, it would be Cy Robertson. You heard it here first, people.
Si Robertson
Since you're so into presidents, Carter, who's the only president from Louisiana?
Carter Owen
James Monroe. He was born in Monroe.
Phil Robertson
He wasn't born in Monroe, dude.
Carter Owen
Why is his last name name Monroe?
Phil Robertson
I think that's just a coincidence.
Si Robertson
I thought it was Zachary Polk. Am I wrong on this? Do we have two?
Phil Robertson
James Monroe was not born in Monroe.
Martin
But I like your answer.
Phil Robertson
He said it with confidence.
Martin
Yeah, he did.
Phil Robertson
He said it with such confidence. We were all.
Si Robertson
I thought we only had one. I thought it was Zachary Polk. Is that not. And he like succeeded somebody.
Phil Robertson
He was born in Monroe, Virginia.
Si Robertson
Monroe, Virginia got you thrown off.
Jase Robertson
Okay, what about President Roosevelt?
Phil Robertson
How you feel about Roosevelt?
Carter Owen
Yeah, he's pretty good president. I saw a picture of him like this.
Jase Robertson
He's one of Rough Riders.
Carter Owen
Richard Nixon also did this while walking out of a plane.
Phil Robertson
Richard Nixon did that while walking out of a plane?
Carter Owen
Yeah, they took a picture of him.
Si Robertson
Anyways on his way to the Watergate Hotel. Right.
Phil Robertson
What do you know about Watergate?
Carter Owen
Is that in Hoking on the Bayou?
Phil Robertson
I have no idea what that is.
Carter Owen
So that's.
Si Robertson
That's a water park.
Phil Robertson
Hard to say, really.
Carter Owen
I think I like it.
Phil Robertson
I think I like it, too. Beth's asking what you liked about Disney World.
Carter Owen
I like Tower of Terror of Terror and Guardians of the Galaxy, even though it's my least favorite movie. But the ride's actually good. Terrible movie, great ride.
Phil Robertson
Why is it a terrible movie?
Si Robertson
Chris Pratt is not going to like to hear that.
Carter Owen
I say. Never mind.
Phil Robertson
Why is it. Why is it a terrible movie?
Carter Owen
There is a very long story.
Phil Robertson
Very long story.
Carter Owen
Yeah. A lot of things I hate about it.
Martin
Well, tell. Tell me about rhinos. I heard that you love rhinos.
Carter Owen
Oh, yeah. They're good at boxing matches.
Si Robertson
Good at boxing matches.
Phil Robertson
Rhinos box.
Si Robertson
All right. You and S got more in common than I thought. Okay, wait a minute. Hold it.
Jase Robertson
I'm confused. I thought. I thought Kangaroo was the ones that boxed.
Carter Owen
Yeah, and they also boxed.
Si Robertson
Okay.
Phil Robertson
Went to rhino's box.
Carter Owen
Well, I'm thinking fights with other rhinos.
Si Robertson
So in a boxing match, Rhino vs. Kangaroo, who takes down the title?
Carter Owen
So kangaroos, they could jump for, but rhinos, they got horns on their nose to ram them out. I think it will be rhinos.
Phil Robertson
Rhinos for him.
Jase Robertson
I think the rhino will win. He's got a pretty tough nose if he's got a horn on it.
Carter Owen
Dude, one time he went in a fight with a hippo and he did not give up. Well, until a hurricane appeared.
Si Robertson
The hurricane.
Phil Robertson
What channels are you watching?
Si Robertson
He's inside. I love this.
Phil Robertson
Oh, it was from a book.
Carter Owen
Yeah, it was from a very, very.
Phil Robertson
There was a hippo and a rhino boxing in a book, and then a hurricane showed.
Jase Robertson
That's right.
Carter Owen
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
And, hey, they had to call it for the hurricane.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
This fight's over with. We'll regain it later. Hurricane shuts for boxing. Match down.
Phil Robertson
Are you going to run for president at the age of 35?
Carter Owen
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
You're waiting. The first chance you get, you're going for it. How old will I be? 55. Well, I think you got a lot of people that'll vote for you.
Jase Robertson
Carter said, hey, I'm going to do it when I'm 35. That way, hey, I. Yeah, I get like, hey, four times. Four times.
Phil Robertson
Okay. You're going to run for president four times.
Carter Owen
That actually happened to Franklin D. Roosevelt.
Phil Robertson
It happened to Franklin D. Ross, doctor.
Carter Owen
And it was. It got real. Real.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
That's why you only get two terms now, huh?
Jase Robertson
Yeah, I guess the country couldn't handle four terms in a row. Yeah, if he was.
Carter Owen
Yeah, it was allowed. Yeah, it was allowed back then. Now we just go to two.
Phil Robertson
All right, well, give us your closing thoughts right here before the election. Give us Carter Owens closing speech.
Carter Owen
About the election.
Phil Robertson
About whatever you want, really. This is your chance.
Si Robertson
Yeah, shoot. Your shot.
Carter Owen
I took a picture of a speech, but I did not bring the iPad because mom wouldn't let me.
Si Robertson
And. What a bummer.
Jase Robertson
Mom.
Phil Robertson
Come on, Mom.
Martin
But he.
Phil Robertson
You had a speech on your iPad ready?
Carter Owen
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
Oh, is it.
Carter Owen
I took a picture on it in third grade.
Phil Robertson
Okay. Yeah, no, I've. I've heard that speech. It's a pretty good one. Yeah, it kind of combines all the other speeches together, doesn't it?
Carter Owen
Well, I didn't meet. Hey, I didn't make it. It was the. Dude, it was like the book that made it.
Phil Robertson
Okay, well, Carter, thanks for coming on, man. People have been asking for this moment. We appreciate you, dude.
Si Robertson
Thanks.
Jase Robertson
It's been a. Just a fantastic day, Carter. And. Hey, Carter, do you. Yes. We're voting for you. That's right. We salute you, Carter.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
There you.
Si Robertson

Martin
Wow, we can breathe.
Phil Robertson
That was Austin can breathe.
Si Robertson
I can't imagine how that is for you because like my kids have been on this podcast but they can't talk. Like I mean they can babble. They but like Carter coming here spitting full sentences and he's so literal. Oh yeah, I love it. Like, I mean because that's what kids are like. They don't. There's no. There's no metaphor in their life yet. So it's just like, oh, there's never.
Phil Robertson
Been a metaphor in his life.
Si Robertson
He's.
Phil Robertson
He's. He's not. He can't grasp, like, it's. It's. There's, you know, I love it. It's impressive. And he's never forgot anything, though. If he reads it, it's. It's in there.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
And it's not. And it takes him a second to get it out, but he knows it.
Si Robertson
His grasp of US History is.
Jase Robertson
It's deep.
Si Robertson
Next level.
Martin
It's deep. And I loved his sense of humor, too, because he would, you know, when he's talking to his dad, he's like, dad.
Si Robertson
I can only imagine, though, like, on the way up here, just because the way he acted, the conversations of him and Allison.
Martin
What was that?
Si Robertson
Because he was like, I can't say that.
Martin
What was Allison saying to him? So he.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, there was a lot of don'ts on the way. I heard about Allison's like, I'm trying to coach him. I was like, let them do it. We can edit it out.
Si Robertson
Well, it's a well known fact Allison doesn't like our podcast anyway.
Jase Robertson
So you got to understand, though, he's. He's, you know, with kids, okay, if. If it's, you know, no filter.
Phil Robertson
None. He has none.
Jase Robertson
No filter. So if he's got something on his mind, he says it. Okay. And literally. Okay. At ten and a half. He's scary in a way.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Okay. I'm serious.
Phil Robertson
While we waited.
Jase Robertson
History and. Yo.
Si Robertson
Oh.
Phil Robertson
And he is in love with history. And that's why Allison was telling. We're not going to talk about. Because he gets caught up on the fact that somebody did try and shoot Donald Trump.
Jase Robertson
Oh, no. Yeah.
Phil Robertson
He didn't say the guy's name. He brings the guy's name up a lot because that guy's a bad guy because he tried to shoot the former president, maybe the next president. And so Carter gets hung up on that, and then he's like, why would.
Jase Robertson
He do such a thing?
Phil Robertson
And then he starts talking about John Wills Booth and then all of them, and he just. It's. It's. He's interesting to parent because you don't want your kid, you know, watching the news.
Martin
Right.
Phil Robertson
You want him being a kid, especially today's version. Yeah, but. But he loves the news, and he loves it, and so you try and filter it in a positive way, and he's just an interesting and.
Jase Robertson
Well, because you think about it, okay, like, that a president. Well, hey, look, war is going to be the last resort.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
You know, so when you think, okay, wait a minute. This kid is 10 and a half years old, and he's talking about, yo, so y'all. It's the deal about, hey, yo. And in his mind, he said, well, you know, why is everybody trying to kill Trump?
Phil Robertson
He don't get it.
Jase Robertson
Yeah. Why they're trying to kill him.
Si Robertson
My favorite part, though, is the innocence of the truth that's in him.
Jase Robertson
No. No.
Si Robertson
Because it's nothing. But the truth is he knows it. Like, there's no there. There's no. What's the word I'm looking for? Like, there's no preconceived notion about anything. He's just reading and reporting. Like he's putting these facts in his brain.
Jase Robertson
Purity.
Si Robertson
And. Yeah. It's just pure. Like, there's. There's nothing. You know, I still. It's not the word I'm looking for.
Jase Robertson
There's no hidden agendas, no.
Si Robertson
No ill will. There's nothing.
Jase Robertson
It's just point blank.
Si Robertson
This is what happened. This is what happened.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
And this is why.
Jase Robertson
And I like.
Martin
I like his tough scale.
Si Robertson
Oh.
Martin
If somebody.
Phil Robertson
You're only tough if you've been shot at.
Si Robertson
You got to teach him about 50 Cent, man.
Martin
No, because, hey, you know, he been shot a lot.
Si Robertson
50 been shot a lot. He gonna be. He gonna be campaigning for 50 to be president next.
Phil Robertson
It'd be better than some of them.
Si Robertson
Well, no lie there. But, yeah, he's.
Phil Robertson
Well. And Carter's tough. You know, it's. It's wild to even sit in here and sit beside him, and him just spouting out facts like that. You know, he's. He's been through so much in life.
Si Robertson
Like, my favorite part is he has no idea when we both said, well, you're tough. He has no idea how tough he is. Well, he has no recollection of a lot of that stuff.
Phil Robertson
He was never supposed to talk.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
He was never supposed to walk.
Jase Robertson
Wow.
Si Robertson
I mean, odds are he probably really and truly when y'all first found out, there's a really strong chance he wasn't gonna be here today.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
So, like, he ate through a tube.
Phil Robertson
For the first year of his life.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
And now he's up here, just knows you got 27 bones in your hand. He knows Abraham Lincoln was born in 1802. Knows a lot of other weird stuff. And he's a wild, you know, wild ride. But, man, just being his dad is scary, but it's a lot of fun too, because, you know, it's just. And being a dad, scary in and of itself.
Jase Robertson
But he just.
Si Robertson
Thoughts on the Saints coach?
Phil Robertson
Well, no, no, no, he don't.
Martin
I never had to leave.
Phil Robertson
He would have said I'm not really a football guy.
Si Robertson
Oh, really?
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
He's all about football. Okay, this.
Jase Robertson
This brings me back. Okay. Me and Phillip went to Houston for the damn Pastorini. Okay. And it's supporter of being angelic.
Martin
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Okay. Everything. Everything Dan does about. It's about kids, handicapped kids that need help. And he raises a lot of money every year to help them better their life. And it's the same thing about your son.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Because he. He started out life rough.
Martin
Right.
Jase Robertson
Okay. And it was a deal about. It was a coin toss whether he was actually gonna make it or not.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Martin
And look at him now. Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Because that's why Randy Owens, the lead singer of Alabama, wrote a song. Okay. There are angels among us. And I believe that. I believe that wholeheartedly. Okay. And Carter one of them. Okay. Because he's mainly way past his age.
Phil Robertson
Oh, yeah.
Jase Robertson
Okay. And that's why I said, in a way, it's scary.
Martin
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Because thinking about that, most human beings ain't got a good concept on.
Phil Robertson
It's terrifying.
Jase Robertson
And he has. He's got a good concept of it. Okay. What it should be.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
I never knew Abe Lincoln's hat was a self protection device. You know, wear a tall hat, you don't get shot.
Martin
Then I asked him, are you going to wear a hat? He was like, now why would I do that?
Phil Robertson
That's old school, man. But the other thing with him is because he's so literal, he's got like this one book that's like a Abe Lincoln comic book where Abe Lincoln's a superhero and we can't quite separate the fake from the real. So I don't know, that part might not be true. Abraham Lincoln's out there, like with his shirt off doing karate in that book. So I don't know.
Martin
You and Allison, you know, y'all kind of got him and put some curves in and some boundaries and let him know. No, no, this is. This is not real. This is real. Yeah, but there's a lot of that. Now. What about his math teacher?
Phil Robertson
Oh, she's a great lady. Yeah, he likes her too.
Jase Robertson
Workaholic, Miss works a lot. Miss.
Phil Robertson
He came home one day, work a. He had a bunch of math homework. He. Miss Works a lot at it again. And I said, who's that?
Jase Robertson
You gotta think about that, though. That, you know. You know, I have no idea what the lady's real name is, but with Carter, it's Miss Work a lot.
Phil Robertson
He said he doesn't call her that at school because you don't want to get trouble.
Jase Robertson
This is a nickname that only I can tell you about, you know? So, yeah.
Martin
Letting us in on the story, I.
Phil Robertson
Doubt Ms. Tatum listens, so nobody tell her.
Si Robertson
Oh, man, we don't want him in trouble.
Martin
Or. Or it'll be a lot harder on him. Ms. Works a lot harder.
Si Robertson
Hey, I do like the fact that he says homework is necessary.
Martin
Yeah. Oh, he wasn't going to give up on that.
Si Robertson
I can appreciate that.
Phil Robertson
What was that? I was ready for, like, no homework, everything. Free video games forever. And he's like, no, homework's important.
Si Robertson
Yeah. Got to have homework.
Phil Robertson
This kid is that.
Si Robertson
Gotta have homework.
Phil Robertson
I hate homework. I don't even want my kids doing homework. Once we're home, work supposed to stop. And he's like, oh, it's important that we got to study. Yeah, he's. Man, he's. He's awesome. And this is. It's hard to fathom some of the stuff going on in his head, but he's. He's great.
Martin
So you may have heard us talk about the Federal Duck Stamp program before, but today we're here to tell you about another great program that supports education and conservation. The Junior Duck Stamp Program.
Si Robertson
There you go.
Martin
The Junior Duck Stamp Program connects kids to conservation through art. It's a creative way for students to learn about wetlands, waterfowls, and the importance of protecting our natural world. Students spend time learning about wetlands and waterfowl conservation and then submit their own artwork to a national contest. Thousands of young artists from across the country participate each year with their awesome wildlife art reflecting their passion for nature. Did you know? Each year the winning artwork is turned into a collectible stamp that directly supports wildlife habitats. And it's a cool way to give back.
Si Robertson
Yeah. This year's is the King Eider, which is really cool if you. I don't know how much you know about ducks, but that's a. That's a cool one. He lives up there in Alaska. You can only. You have to get drawn for the tag. So it's like a. It's. It's a bucket list bird for a lot of people.
Martin
Whether you're into bird watching, wildlife photography, or simply love of nature, buying a Junior Duck Stamp is a small way to make a big impact. Every Junior Duck Stamp sold Helps fund conservation education programs encouraging the next generation of our outdoor enthusiasts. Visit your local national wildlife refuge post office or shop online to purchase your junior Duck Stamp. Your purchase supports educational initiatives that give kids the knowledge and the tools that they need to protect our wetlands for our Future Generations. Phil Robertson
I have a question I believe I saw on the social medias si. Were you detained by the transport and security administration?
Si Robertson
Let me tell you something. I got a full body.
Martin
They always check. Sigh. They stop.
Jase Robertson
I'm like, we get up there to get the ticket, yo. And I've got the auction. One thing on my shoulder, yell. And I said, what is that, sir? And I said, ox machine. He said, oh, no, you can't. You can't. You can't fly with that.
Si Robertson
Gotta have a form.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Martin
A special form that we've never had to use.
Jase Robertson
I have a special form, and you gotta have a statement from a doctor. I said, guys, I've been flying for the last 10 years with this thing around my neck.
Si Robertson
And so, like any good friend also you got there. Yeah. And. Yeah. And like, you just flew there with it.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
And like any good friend would do, like a video. No. I bailed.
Martin
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Next day, I know.
Si Robertson
I didn't. I didn't want to be looped in with him. I was like, nah, let me get out of here before he shows his butt there.
Jase Robertson
Next time, look up and look around. These bombs have out of yos, Jack. Oh, I get stuck with you, you idiots.
Si Robertson
I was like, you ain't gonna loop me in with him.
Martin
But fortunately, there was a lady named Helga.
Si Robertson
Can't make that up.
Martin
Is that Uncle S? I said, yeah, can you help us? And she was like, oh, yes, I can help. She talked on the phone to him. Got it. Got us all through. And said, don't worry about it.
Jase Robertson
I started out laughing, but then when they kept pressing it and then they bring this guy over. Well, I'm kind of getting a little to, yeah.
Si Robertson
When I heard his voice change, I said, you know what? I'm out. I'm going to school.
Phil Robertson
And you're. You're friendly.
Jase Robertson
I just said it politely first. I said, guys, I've been flying for 10 years with this stupid thing.
Si Robertson
Yeah. He was nice about it.
Martin
I said, he was nice about it.
Jase Robertson
I said, they x ray it. I said, it's got one battery on the Bottom of it.
Phil Robertson
Thank you.
Jase Robertson
You know, And I've got one in the bag. They're saying, oh, well, no, you gotta have. You gotta have a form. You gotta have a doctor statement. I said, guys, how you think I'm gonna get all this junk done?
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Sitting doctor that walks around with me all the time.
Si Robertson
It was good.
Martin
They gave me a copy. Helga gave me a copy of everything that we need if we ever want to fly that airline.
Si Robertson
Delta. Yeah, I don't care.
Jase Robertson
Well, that's just the first time it's ever happened.
Si Robertson
Yeah, it was weird. But then.
Jase Robertson
So I go all overseas to, you know, Ireland, y'all.
Si Robertson
So I went to tsa, did all my stuff. And I'm standing there. My guy. A guy done spotted us. So he was standing there asking me, you know, all the normal questions. No big deal.
Phil Robertson
I really like that.
Si Robertson
Yeah. No, and then, so. But then I'm standing there talking to him right behind tsa, and I look and I see. Sigh. And my man. This is the one I videoed. My man done broke out a wand on him, and they're, like, rubbing him. Leaning him up off the wheelchair, like, rubbing him down, you know? And then he takes a little. He takes a little tab over there and puts it in deal. And I'm like, oh, he's going to test positive for gunpowder. I know it. Which is why I was videoing. That's what I thought must have. I was like, oh, he. He is about to test positive for gunpowder, and this is going to be fantastic.
Jase Robertson
Yeah, I think it was New York. Yo, Phil's up there. Yo, and they wave him one him down with beep, beep, beep, beep. Yo, and Phil. The guy wrenched in Phil's coat pocket, you know, and he said, you know, guy holds up a. 30. 30 round, you know, and he says, what it is? And Phil said, Look like 30. 30 to me.
Phil Robertson
Can't travel with those.
Jase Robertson
No, no. You know, y'all. And the guy said, well, you. And Phil said, well, you can have it, son. I ain't got the gun. I said, you can. He said, you have the bullet. You know, I don't want it back.
Phil Robertson
How did he get to New York with the bullet?
Jase Robertson
Oh, hey, he had it in his hunting coat. It was, you know.
Si Robertson
Hey, yeah, I got the same third degree one, time for a choke tube. I had no idea you couldn't carry a choke tube.
Jase Robertson
Yeah, a choke tube by itself.
Si Robertson
Yeah, I know. I mean, I intentionally put it in my pocket at somebody. Yeah, that's why he's like, well, this is a gun part. I was like, sure is. Goes in the very end of a barrel.
Phil Robertson
It's not as dangerous as a Snickers bar. You sell those?
Si Robertson
Yeah. I mean, like I said, it's real dangerous.
Jase Robertson
You know, maybe if I threw it and hit you in the air with it, it'd knock you out. But other than that, it's wild.
Si Robertson
Oh, yeah. But it was no traveling with sigh. It's always on the way up. Phillip gave me his first class seat. He said, look, I need to take a nap and I can't sleep if size beside me.
Martin
It's not si. It's the shaking, the noise, the ice in the cup, the bumping me. Hey, hey, hey, hey.
Jase Robertson
Okay, boys, here's what's funny. He actually had a vacation on this trip. Yeah, he took off and Martin or John had to push me in the wheel.
Si Robertson
Oh, yeah.
Jase Robertson
You know, the other day when we got back in for coming into Monroe, you know, I'm standing there and it was another lady that needed a wheelchair. So I. I'd already sat down in mine and I said, darling, here you're. Hey, sit down in my. Take mine. I'll somebody up. Bring me up. Well, when Mark come over there, I said, you ready, big guy? And he said, what do you mean? I said, you gotta push me. Philip then took off.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
He said, where did Philip go? I said, he went to get my truck.
Phil Robertson
Got one job, man.
Jase Robertson
Yeah. He had to get the truck. Yeah. Martin said, hey, what a life. I didn't sign up for this. And I said, yeah, you did.
Martin
I love having and Martin with us.
Si Robertson
Yes. I grabbed me coming off the plane. He said, wait right here. I was like, I got almost.
Jase Robertson
He's got his bag. He ain't got no bag.
Martin
He don't check no bag.
Jase Robertson
I said, I didn't sign up for this. I said, oh, yeah, you did. You just didn't know it.
Si Robertson
I had to.
Jase Robertson
Shut up. Shut up. Push me up the ramp.
Si Robertson
I had the TT, son. Sorry. Maybe you don't know that they will give you as much of that tomato juice in first class as you want. Well, I know you do not have to get every shred out of that coat too.
Phil Robertson
Oh, yeah.
Jase Robertson
Oh, yes, I do, buddy. Yeah, buddy, buddy.
Si Robertson
Shaking the ice, getting the ice to melt to get some more. That red slurry off the sides. I mean, that ticket was expensive.
Phil Robertson
He's getting his money's worth.
Si Robertson
They will give you all you want.
Jase Robertson
I love that. Because the lady said, you want some more? And I said, no, I'm good. And he just, he said, dolly. Hey, I. Yo.
Si Robertson
And I'm going, yeah, he just trying to get all that spicy material.
Martin
And what he didn't see is him bumping me, saying, where's your fingernail file? Give me the clippers. You got a toothpick? Hey, Philip, where's that little pillow? You got a blanket in that back? All those things. I was. For two hours I sat back there with Godwin and I slept like a log. And on the way back, I said, martin, Martin. And he done took off to his seat. I said, martin. He was like, no, no, Hammer, I'm.
Phil Robertson
Sitting by your side.
Si Robertson
So we got on the plane to Mun yesterday, and y'all don't know any of this, most likely, but I guess Ulm had like a home volleyball game or something. So a whole team from Marshall. Yeah, we are the Thundering Herd or whatever's on the airplane coming. And me and Goblin are back on the exit row in the back. And they're all like sitting as a team. One block of seats behind us. And every one of them start Googling psychological. And they're all talking about, I think that's that guy from Duck Dynasty. I think that's that guy. And so me and Godwin are just sitting there and I'm like, my hood up. I'm like, man, I'm tired. I just. I really just want to get home. Like, it's been a long few days, like. And they just go to arguing about if it is Sigh or not. And they're like, no, he's got glasses. See, look, he's got glasses. That ain't him. That guy up front didn't have glasses. That guy up front had oxygen. That is not him.
Phil Robertson
That guy up front had oxygen.
Si Robertson
And then so I let him go through all that stuff, of course. And then we get on the ground, I just turn around, looked at him, I said, look, that is Sigh. If you want to know his new look, you can check out the Duck Car Room podcast.
Phil Robertson
There's a five star review. Thank you.
Si Robertson
I didn't do that till I threw my backpack on my shoulder and took off.
Jase Robertson
I was like, he's out of here.
Si Robertson
And then they're looking around like, oh, crap, that's Martin and Goblin and me and Galvin.
Jase Robertson
Just, we go.
Martin
Hey, Sigh. Used that my pillow on all of our trips to Wisconsin and loved it.
Si Robertson

Martin
That's right. Exactly. The whole team.
Si Robertson
And they were excited whether you're after pillows, bed sheets, slippers, robes. Hey, hey. There it is.
Jase Robertson
That's a robe.
Si Robertson
There it is. That's the only thing size should have brought on that trip was his robe. He could have sat by that far place. They are cozy, they're comfortable. I don't know what else to tell you. Phil Robertson
Yeah, I got. We got to talk about that.
Si Robertson
But it's a true. And I'm not. I could care less about politics. Right? Whatever. Vote for whoever you gonna vote for. Don't. It shouldn't matter who I vote for. It is a true battleground state. And the fact that when you're there, everybody worried about it legitimately. You can't go 12ft without seeing a Trump or a Harris sign. And I swear it is 50. 50. I swear it's every other house. It was unbelievable.
Jase Robertson
It's even got signs. Hey, you're trespassing.
Si Robertson
Hear you.
Jase Robertson
Yo. It even had one place we went around the corner and there's literally the driveway. And then there they. I mean, right up to the line of the property.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
And the guy saying, hey, don't be trespassing on my driveway.
Si Robertson
It said, john, you're trespassing.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Because they were taking each other's signs.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Martin
And they're pointing them toward each other's houses.
Jase Robertson
Oh, yeah. It was actually a battle going on between these two.
Phil Robertson
Of political science.
Si Robertson
Oh, yeah.
Jase Robertson
Oh, yeah.
Si Robertson
Yeah. And on the interstate, my favorite.
Martin
That was my favorite.
Si Robertson
My favorite juxtaposition. Because it's just funny to me. On this side of interstate, there's a big hill. Well, it's solid Donald Trump.
Martin
Trump Hill.
Si Robertson
Solid Donald Trump. And then over here, you can't make this up. There is a wetland.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Like cattails, water ducks, everything. And there's a big Harris wall sign in the swamp. Like, you cannot make this up. Like, if you want. And I'm not sure that the Trump guy didn't put the sign in the swamp.
Martin
He stole it. Yeah, I'm not sure that.
Si Robertson
I mean, I saw the humor in that and I just giggled. And we had to drive by the high ground. She's down there in a slew Right across the street.
Phil Robertson
In Wisconsin.
Si Robertson
In Wisconsin.
Phil Robertson
Oh, yeah. Because we don't. Like, there's not any signs around our town. Like, no, there's not anybody arguing. Like, I think in Louisiana, where either all just so sick of it or we just know how it's going to go. Nobody cares and we're all friendly. I haven't been in one weird argument.
Jase Robertson
Well.
Phil Robertson
Or anything.
Jase Robertson
Based in Wisconsin.
Phil Robertson
So my question is for the people. Have you ever driven somewhere and seen a billboard that said someone's name and said, oh, I'll vote for them now? Because I saw this sign. What are political signs doing?
Si Robertson
Well, in Louisiana, they quickly turn into either rifle targets or no trespassing signs. Yeah. It's what all the people, like, turn. They turn over. They spray paint and then put no trespassing. Or, you know, posted, you know, little Creek Hunting Club on the back of it.
Jase Robertson
Full of holes.
Si Robertson
Yeah. Or that.
Martin
And what I don't like is after the election, nobody picks up the signs. And I'm like, I'm glad I didn't vote for that guy. Cause he left his signs up year around.
Phil Robertson
Year around.
Si Robertson
Yeah. They're just like Christmas lights.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
I hadn't put my Christmas lights up yet, but it's coming.
Si Robertson
Oh, yeah, it was. I don't know. I just. Yeah. Coming from down here where you just Rarely see. I mean, you see a little bit, but not much to legit. Could not go any distance without seeing some sort of political affiliation sign. It just blew my mind. I was like, man, these people are serious. But the cool part is, and I guess they all somewhat get along because they were neighbors.
Martin
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Like, they were living. We were staying at a place out by a little small lake or whatever, and there were a bunch of houses on the lake, and legitimately, every other house, it was Trump Harris. Trump Harris. I mean, it's like it was a prerequisite. Like, if you move into this, you have to be this, because otherwise this doesn't work.
Phil Robertson
To check the dominoes, though.
Si Robertson
Yeah, it was.
Jase Robertson
We got to keep it equal.
Si Robertson
Yeah. It was crazy.
Phil Robertson
I need to take Carter to a swing state.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
Have him do a rally.
Si Robertson
Yeah. You need to go to a battleground state and just let him witness, like, what that means, because I had never been to one during an election cycle, obviously. Yeah, it was crazy, man. It was just.
Phil Robertson
Well, how was the other parts of the trip besides the political part?
Si Robertson
Oh, man, Wisconsin was great. The weather was great. There was, like, heavy frost on the ground. It felt like fall. Oh, yeah. All right.
Jase Robertson
And the leaves on the tree were fantastic.
Si Robertson
Yeah. People don't talk about how pretty Wisconsin is.
Jase Robertson
It is really beautiful.
Si Robertson
Yeah. I don't think it gets enough credit.
Phil Robertson
How was the cheese?
Si Robertson
Yeah, we didn't eat any.
Jase Robertson
We didn't get any.
Si Robertson
We. We went.
Jase Robertson
Isn't that pitiful?
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Martin
We didn't bring nothing back.
Si Robertson
We didn't bring nothing back. The only cheese I had were on a gas station pizza. We.
Phil Robertson
I'm ashamed of y'all. You went to Wisconsin?
Jase Robertson
Yeah, I didn't get no cheese and.
Phil Robertson
Didn't get no cheese.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Yeah. I got a pitiful.
Si Robertson
I didn't see apparent. Apparently, Milwaukee area is just known for beer.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
I mean, that's what I gathered.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
The Milwaukee area. And it makes sense because it's like.
Phil Robertson
Miller, the baseball team is the Brewers.
Si Robertson
Yeah. You saw Old Style. Yeah. You saw Miller. You saw Old Milwaukee. You saw, like, all the stuff. What's the thought? Y'all going to eat cheese like spotted cow or laughing? I don't know, but it was just. It's a bunch of beer around there, which in a former life of mine, would have been really cool. I could have stayed, you know, I could have stayed a while, but at this point, I was way more interested in cheese, and that didn't. That didn't come to fruition.
Phil Robertson
That's sad.
Si Robertson
But no, the. The pheasant hunting was solid. I get. I mean, I guess it was a hunt. It wasn't really.
Martin
It was a European pheasant hunt.
Si Robertson
It was a shoot.
Martin
Yeah. And when they came out, they were everywhere.
Si Robertson
Yeah. Yeah. They got some boys up there in a tower throwing them around. It was fun.
Jase Robertson
That was fun. But I hunt for life. Okay. It was a charity, and it was good to see there's still a lot of good people in this world.
Si Robertson
Yeah, yeah. We did some cool thing. We raised over a million dollars while we were there. Yeah. Yeah.
Martin
Yes. I said. They said we. We raised 800,000 this one year, and our goal is to try and get to a million. So I said, oh, we'll. We'll do that, and we'll have.
Jase Robertson
We actually accomplished it.
Si Robertson
$1,000,080.
Martin
And Martin, tell Johnny D. The story how we found out what. Oh, how it happened to go over them.
Si Robertson
Oh, yeah. So apparently we weren't at. We didn't do the million. We were sitting back at the lodge, and the guys were cleaning up, and there was one. It was a. It's funny because it. It was a Tebow Jersey of all things that didn't get bought on a silent. On a silent auction, which makes a lot of sense because, like, Wisconsin's a long way from Florida.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
I mean, not. Not a whole lot of Tebow ites up there, I guess you would say. But then a guy walked up to the guy and was like, y'all are putting that back up. And he's like, yeah, man, nobody bought it. Whatever. And the guy's like, I mean, 750, a fair price for it. Yeah, yeah, you can.
Phil Robertson
750.
Si Robertson
Yeah, you can have.
Jase Robertson
So more than fair.
Si Robertson
Yeah, you can have it for. I mean, he's like, I'll take it for 750 or whatever. And so the guy gave him 750. He went over there, handed it to their clerk, and she was just, like, went berserk because that 750 took it to $1,000,080.
Phil Robertson
One million eighty.
Jase Robertson
It was short.
Si Robertson
We were shorter in.
Phil Robertson
Tim Tebow still winning games right there.
Si Robertson
Tim Tebow fourth, and Tebow, baby, pulling it out. He still got it over. I was like, well, we'll share that story with. With Mr. Tebow because he's around enough that. I mean, he would probably find that pretty cool. But it. It was a cool thing, man. It. It. They have this. That foundation supports a lot of different foundations, so it. And it in and of itself is just one that takes in a lot of money, then appropriates it to other foundations. So they had two of the other ones there that I didn't know that they even existed. But one of them was called Heal Our Patriots, which was really cool. It's a marriage retreat for service men and women going through rough spots in their marriages.
Jase Robertson
Billy Graham started it. Okay. And then they got in on this.
Si Robertson
And so they had some of the. The. The patriots there, our former servicemen that went through it. And to hear and see the changes in their lives and marriages was just powerful for one. I mean, like, you know, these guys put. I ate dinner with them, and they were telling stories of, like. I was like, whoa.
Jase Robertson
Well, people don't realize because, like, I didn't even. Okay. And I spent 24 and a half years military. I didn't realize, like, when Vietnam, the guys got shot, well, they wouldn't go. Go home.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
They would go to a hospital to be patched up and fixed up. Okay, well, hey, guess what? We went to Billy Graham up here in Alaska.
Martin
Franklin. Franklin Graham.
Jase Robertson
Yeah. Franklin Graham. Here comes a plane in. That's got veterans on it. Okay. That. It's their welcome home, because, hey, they didn't come home. You know, they went to the hospital to get over their wounds. So it's a. It's a powerful thing to stand there, because I'm sitting there with tears streaming down my face, you know, because these guys didn't get a welcome home.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Okay. So it's. Yeah, it. Yeah, I. Sitting there bald like a baby.
Si Robertson
Yeah, it was.
Jase Robertson
And then, you know, it's a wild, powerful thing. It really is.
Martin
And then they had a life camp program for kids whose dads have died in the act of service, whether it be the police department, firemen, first responders, or in the military. And one of the guys had gone through the camp, and we got to meet him and hear his story, and it was amazing. It's just.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Martin
It was how these guys step up. And it was a kid.
Si Robertson
A kid. Brian was his name. And I'll never forget him because he was just going through the deal, and he was like, yeah. Before the camp, I was just angry at God, Like, I lost my dad, didn't understand why, went to the camp, and then realized that's not why we lost dad. And, like, just. I mean, the whole courage of the whole thing. I mean, this kid is 12 years old. Like, I mean, I don't know. When you see stuff like that, it gives you hope, because, like, it. It gives you hope that somebody, God forbid, anything happened to any of us, but that hopefully other men would step up and stand in the gap for us. If something was, well, it just shows, okay?
Jase Robertson
These are people that love their neighbors, okay? And don't run their mouth, okay? They take action, okay? And here's the thing about it. All that money, not a dime goes to anyone but the kids.
Martin
And John and John Godwin almost got.
Si Robertson
Knocked out by a pigeon.
Jase Robertson
I was gonna try to say it, but it was too late.
Martin
It was coming right by that me and John and I shot it moving forward and it flew straight at Godwin. And Godwin's loading his gun. I'm telling you about that far.
Jase Robertson
Just it's like this, like 4 inches.
Si Robertson
I was it.
Jase Robertson
He was putting the shell in his gun. And Martin will say, God, I was going, godwin.
Carter Owen
Godwin.
Jase Robertson
Godwin said.
Si Robertson
And it wasn't I at this point, I was just taking a break. I was sitting on the ground by Si. Si was in a chair and I was just sitting on the ground by him. And we was commentating on everybody. And I looked and I saw that thing and I was just going, goblin, goblin, goblin, goblin, goblin.
Martin
He said, I thought you were trying to tell me his pigeon was flying my way.
Jase Robertson
Yeah, it was flying his way. He was dead.
Si Robertson
I'm talking about me. Out of control within single digit inches. Mr. Hitting poor Goblin right in the top of the head.
Jase Robertson
Martin said, did you hear the wind?
Si Robertson
God said, no, I was trying to load my gun.
Phil Robertson
Psalm 127. Three children are a heritage from the Lord. Offspring a reward for him.
Jase Robertson
That's it.
Phil Robertson
I'm glad Carl Carter was able to join us today. Thank y'all for letting him do that. He enjoy. He's going to talk about it for a month. I love it every night.
Si Robertson
All right, we'll see y'all next time. Right here in the duck call room. We're out.
