Ryan Reynolds
Somebody stayed up too late last night.
Si Robertson
Yeah, I did, actually.
Jase Robertson
1050. Leaving the movies like he's Hunter.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, well, you were. You were the one playing video games last night.
Ryan Reynolds
I wasn't.
Phil Robertson
Why were you up?
Jase Robertson
My wife made me watch American Idol over here.
Phil Robertson
There you go. See, we're just doing things for our wife. Mainly because I'm leaving today, so that matter on a jet plane. I gotta go to Tulsa also. Welcome back down that loves you.
Ryan Reynolds
That's a good town. Yeah, that's good people.
Phil Robertson
I'm speaking tomorrow morning.
Jase Robertson
Tulsa.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. You about to make the Larry time, baby.
Jase Robertson
Is there a Larry the cable joke about Tulsa?
Phil Robertson
Yeah, watch Tulsa backwards.
Jase Robertson
Oh, dang. Thought about it like that.
Phil Robertson
That's like 2004 blue collar comedy.
Jase Robertson
Get her done.
Phil Robertson
That's where he played to mater. Clean up his act a little bit.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
Oh, Dan. Our friend Dan.
Jase Robertson
That was one of the best parts of Willie always doing golf tournaments with him. He'd be talking in his normal voice, which is still pretty redneck, and a kid would see him and then all of a sudden he'd switch to tomato from cars. I'm the world's best backwards driver.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
And I would laugh every time.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. Oh, yeah. He was wild, man. We played in this charity golf tournament a couple of times up there in Nebraska. That's fun.
Jase Robertson
That's where you almost died.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, that's where.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
Scariest I've ever been on a plane. Yeah, that was a tough one. That was punched through some super sales like we knew what we were doing. Oh, Stewie said I can't believe he stuck the landing.
Jase Robertson
I saw Stewie the other day.
Phil Robertson
Oh, Stewie the pilot. The co pilot, actually. But now, yeah, I'm headed Tulsa. So it's fun way. We had our first X ray yesterday. That's fun. That's a good time. Wayland took about a five foot tumble off a jungle gym at school. School. So it's funny, the careful one. How is it? He's fine. I mean, he got a little limp about him. He, he, he, he, he, he knows he did it. I can say that.
Jase Robertson
You warned him about them stairs at my house many times.
Phil Robertson
I tried, man. I tried.
Jase Robertson
So did he trip or did he jump?
Phil Robertson
Nobody really knows exactly. Just kind of. Yeah, nobody know. It was during the Easter egg hunt. So you know, there were kids everywhere, you know, like.
Jase Robertson
And he. No, he saw an egg and said, I got to get there first.
Phil Robertson
May have been like, nobody. Only he knows and he ain't talking. Yeah, only he knows and he ain't talking about it.
Si Robertson
So we'll talk about it.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, he just, he just look at go. It hurt. Which I don't know who was more shook up, him or his mama. So, yeah, probably so for sure.
Jase Robertson
He was like, dang, that was a mistake. She said to the hospital when she.
Phil Robertson
Called me, I said, yeah, sounds about right. So you know. No, we went to the doctor first and she's like, ah, let's just be really careful and get it X rayed. So we didn't do no ER trip or nothing. Yeah, that's, yeah, no, I didn't think. I looked at it as a guy who's broken several bones because I'm clumsy. Let's just call it what it is.
Jase Robertson
A lot of momentum when you go down.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, it didn't. And as a husky young feller. Yeah, I mean I could put body parts in a bind like, you know, and I looked at it and I said, that ain't broken. But I know what that looks like. That just, that's a sprain. That one's going to take a minute. He going, he going to wear that one a little bit. So he somehow hurt his ankle and fell on his head. I'm not sure because he had, he had little scuff marks on his face too. So he made it.
Si Robertson
They heal quick.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, he's, he was walking around last night, so, man, he, he did have a limp, but he was up walking on it running, running around with his brother in and everything else.
Jase Robertson
So, you know, last time we got X rays it was because Carter fell off a segway and now he hates all Segways. But he feels better because he found out the owner of Segway fell off a Segway and died.
Phil Robertson
Oh, for real? Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Which shouldn't make Carter happy, but it does. But because he's like, well, you get what you deserve. You made these death traps. And the one caught up.
Ryan Reynolds
Hey, they're dangerous.
Phil Robertson
So Carter ain't ever looking at being like a mall cop in the future. Oh, no, no, no, Morgan.
Jase Robertson
He fell off that one right over by Willie's house, and I had to pick that sucker up. He's in extra large clothes now. Youth. Extra large.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, he big. He's a big old boy. Yeah.
Jase Robertson
And I had to carry him.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, y'all soon be sharing shoes. Like, it won't be long. I mean, he's gonna be shopping in dad's closet here for a long.
Jase Robertson
That just kind of shook me up. Yeah, no, we keep having to buy them clothes now. It's like, you think they fit? I'm like, well, they'll fit.
Ryan Reynolds
Bins.
Jase Robertson
When he's an adult, so I just.
Phil Robertson
Make him the official honeyhole model. Well, mom probably don't go for that though, does she? She won't even wear other stuff.
Jase Robertson
I mean, I'm like, I don't even pick my own wardrobe. I just get stuff that my brother in law makes.
Phil Robertson
There you go.
Jase Robertson
Why can't Carter do that? Yeah, he's in about an adult small now, though. It's crazy.
Phil Robertson
Oh, he's big.
Si Robertson
How old is he?
Jase Robertson
Eleven. He's a giant.
Phil Robertson
But no, it's fun, man. I'm. I don't know. Tomorrow's fun.
Jase Robertson
Going to get X rays and.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, I mean, it's part of life, right? Like, I mean, it's part of raising kids. I mean, stuff's gonna happen. So I just am surprised. Actually, I'm surprised it took this long. And I was more surprised that it was Wayland.
Jase Robertson
So, Jumpsuit Jackson.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. Just shows you get hurt. Oh, I think it shows you, though, the difference between being cautious and not caring. Like, if you hesitate, that's when you get hurt. A lot of times the hesitation is what hurts you, Jackson. Nope, Just straight through that door. We'll figure it out when we get through it.
Ryan Reynolds
Like, you mean Britain knocks me down and knocked down.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. But if you hesitate at any moment, that's generally when bad things happen. Like, that goes for hunting or a lot of different things. That hesitation is generally what cost you. So just go with it.
Ryan Reynolds
That's true.
Phil Robertson
You get a feeling. Go with it, man.
Jase Robertson
I don't get people that can't make decisions.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
It boggles my mind.
Phil Robertson
Like, dinner every night.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh.
Phil Robertson
Stone. Y'all have a conversation. What do you. What do you want?
Si Robertson
Conversation every time.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. Doesn't matter.
Si Robertson
What do you want to eat? What do you want?
Jase Robertson
Yeah, you say something, they're like. They're like anything you say.
Si Robertson
That's what I say. Well, what about, you know, Wingstop? I'm not in the mood for that. What about. What about this? Well, I don't want that right now.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. The problem is, Brittany took my trump card from. Because I always just said Captain D's, because I know she didn't like it. And then she fell in love with him. Hush puppies. So now I don't have one. That's, like, a definite no to make her make the decision, you know, Captain.
Jase Robertson
D is always a good one.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Great little seafood place.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. She got. She got pregnant. She got pregnant. Got on them hush pups and could. She still ain't awful.
Jase Robertson
Changed her attitude. Allison tried another Crock Pot meal last night.
Phil Robertson
How'd that go?
Jase Robertson
It was terrible.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
The nicest way to put it. We just can't figure it out. She admitted to it, though. She was like, hey, it was edible. It fed us.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
She goes, I never have to make it again.
Ryan Reynolds
Most of them are tender, y'all.
Jase Robertson
Now, this was Allison's direct quote, was, I didn't even know I could somehow turn fresh chicken into canned chicken, but I somehow did it in this crock pot.
Si Robertson
Oh, I've had that. But here, I got some Crock Pot wisdom for you. That Mississippi Roast recipe, that's what it was with chicken. Okay. Yeah. And you just put different kinds of meat with those same ingredients.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, man.
Si Robertson
That stuff's actually good at Chuck Roast. The best.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
You could take those frozen meatballs, I mean, or make your own meatballs. That would be delicious.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Somehow the chicken. This flavor was okay, but the chicken, she turned it into canned chicken. We don't know how.
Phil Robertson
Really.
Jase Robertson
It was weird.
Phil Robertson
Cooked it too long, maybe. Like, what are you. I'm trying to figure out what you're called. I've never. I don't think I've ever eaten canned chicken.
Si Robertson
It just disintegrated. It's kind of, like, chewy, turned into mush.
Phil Robertson
Chewy.
Jase Robertson
Yeah, it was chewy. I like. And kind of like a. Like you were chewing on a hockey puck. No, not a hockey puck.
Ryan Reynolds
Too long.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, maybe. That's interesting.
Jase Robertson
But I thought the whole point of a Crock pot was just, hey, set that sucker on in the morning, get home, and eat.
Phil Robertson
Well, when I make it, like, about two hours before they say it's supposed to be done, I take the meat out and shred it and then throw it back in there and let it finish. That way is the way.
Jase Robertson
That would have been the move.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. I take it out and get them little. Them little metal things, you know?
Jase Robertson
But we had a soccer game, so she wasn't home. I was at work. And so we showed up at home. I turned the oven on. There were already rolls in it. That was magical.
Phil Robertson
Ooh, everybody love a roll.
Jase Robertson
Allison's like, yeah, she told me all the instructions. Then we opened that crock pot, and I was like, she knows. She already knows.
Phil Robertson
I know what the kids say.
Jase Robertson
Ben's didn't eat. Ben's ate plain noodles.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. Checks out.
Jase Robertson
He tried to, though. That's our rule in the house. You got to try it. If you don't like it, that's in.
Phil Robertson
A word to God, when you got to have a no, thank you portion.
Jase Robertson
Yep. But if you don't like it, I'm like, hey, I don't like it either. Well, I'm not gonna force some kid to eat this. I don't like this.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. I just got to be willing to try. That's the. Yeah, that's the move. Willing to try. Yeah.
Jase Robertson
But, yeah, I think I'm gonna throw away the crock pot. It's just the only thing you can cook in it is a roast, and you can do that in the oven.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
I think next time she goes to get the crock pot, it's just not going to be there.
Si Robertson
Stick to that Dutch oven.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Three hours at 300.
Phil Robertson
Just take it. Take your pair of scissors to that cord. Yeah, I don't. What kid did that? Golly. Must have been the Martin kids. You can blame it on my kids. You say, I saw Jackson playing with it. I mean, I'm fine with it. You blame it on mine. You know, it ain't no big deal. Anybody else out there feeling exhausted, weighed down, and struggle to get through the day?
Jase Robertson
Everybody. Some days.
Phil Robertson
And sometimes you may think that's what I'm talking about. And sometimes you're like, man, I just need some caffeine. Well, what if it's not caffeine you need at all? What if it's because you have a sluggish, overworked liver?
Jase Robertson
Whoa. Never really thought about what my liver's up to?
Ryan Reynolds
That don't even sound good.
Jase Robertson
It can't be good.

Si Robertson
You know, k. Been over building duck calls and, and the. What we watch on TV is pretty comical. What that boy watches. He's 19. What? 19. And he loves spaghetti. Western school. I do too old leave.
Ryan Reynolds
It's just, you know, they got, they got something to them.
Si Robertson
You know what they eat Every time they're eating something, they're eating beans. Yeah, that's it.
Phil Robertson
Beans and rice.
Ryan Reynolds
One on that is what. Blazing Saddles. Yeah, but that, that thing there is hilarious.
Phil Robertson
Now when they all get to.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah, yeah.
Si Robertson
Old slam pick. I say you boys had enough.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah, but that, that, that's one of the better things. It's like Phil with them spitting things on one of our duck hunting videos.
Jase Robertson
That was a good.
Phil Robertson
That was a big one.
Si Robertson
You couldn't, you couldn't do that these days. You'd have to. They'd be spitting them Zans out. Levi Garrett. To Zen.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. Unbelievable.
Jase Robertson
To Zen.
Si Robertson
Oh, barely. What are you doing? That. He, he, he chewed up a cigar.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, no. Yeah. Hey, and I mean, you know, it was a, it was a hunk of a cigar too. Big one.
Phil Robertson
Well, he's burly.
Ryan Reynolds
So. Well, you know, he just checked. He'd been smoking it, you know, I have to. I have to hunt. Then it just showed him. He kind of done like, looked at it just then, that guy, you know.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. He had a wad come out of there that was fitting for a man named Burley.
Ryan Reynolds
Well, they used to have contests with that crap.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. See. See who could spit the furthest.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, yeah, yeah, yeah. It had a target, yo. Yeah. Oh, it was wild.
Phil Robertson
That's a 10.
Ryan Reynolds
I remember going. Going in the. The pool hall where they played dominoes all the time. Going in there.
Phil Robertson
Y'all play dominoes at the pool hall?
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, yeah.
Phil Robertson
Really?
Ryan Reynolds
In Vivian, Louisiana. Everybody. That's where everybody gathered was.
Phil Robertson
The pool hall.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
So you play domino's pool?
Ryan Reynolds
I pulled the dominoes, all the things. Oh, yeah. And then they had them spittoons. They didn't know. You know what? Don't put it close. Yeah, that's got to be over against the wall.
Phil Robertson
Oh, them big brass ones.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, yeah.
Phil Robertson
Like a ting when you hit it.
Ryan Reynolds
They'll make a ding when you hit it, yo.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Ryan Reynolds
And that's all you heard was. And then you thing.
Phil Robertson
Boy, I was living in the wild west. Oh, no.
Ryan Reynolds
Hey, it was. It was something to see.
Si Robertson
I bet old PR is pretty good at pool.
Ryan Reynolds
I don't know if he now feels. Not much on games.
Phil Robertson
No, he always broke the stick over people.
Ryan Reynolds
Back in them days, he wasn't much in game.
Si Robertson
I bet he was getting that.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Ryan Reynolds
Like all these kids, you know, the Allen on them played spades and all this. That junk, you know, and was actually like. Jace was, you know, number one, you know, @ spade.
Phil Robertson
Allegedly.
Ryan Reynolds
He just. No, he had that. He had it, you know, it was.
Si Robertson
That is a true story. I saw it. This is when computers first came out.
Phil Robertson
He was on Yahoo.
Si Robertson
Like Yahoo. Spades or whatever.
Ryan Reynolds
Wow.
Si Robertson
He. He got up and there was, you know, million people doing that. And Jace Robertson was number one in the world.
Ryan Reynolds
Why they call him Slick Yahoo Spade at Yahoo.
Si Robertson
Spades.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. I spent a lot of time playing Yahoo, Jen. I used to love playing GN girl.
Ryan Reynolds
What is Hearts?
Phil Robertson
Hearts? Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Ryan Reynolds
Hearts was kind of like daddy them played that played Heart. It was a. It was a, you know, this killer. Killer game.
Phil Robertson
Well, Jace does have that weird mind.
Ryan Reynolds
They got. They got serious on this crap.
Si Robertson
Boy.
Phil Robertson
Jay's got that weird mind of being able to count all that stuff.
Si Robertson
Yeah. So that's why I say you shouldn't play poker with him.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, he's counting.
Ryan Reynolds
I Can beat him in poker, son. Oh, don't ever doubt it.
Phil Robertson
You can. You just don't.
Ryan Reynolds
Well, no, no, I give him, you know, hey, we have some good ones now. But, like, when I actually get mad, he makes me mad, and I say I'm after him. Yeah, he don't play anymore.
Phil Robertson
He's out.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah, he's out. Yeah, he folds because he's done that three or four times. And I just said, hey, you know, And I ain't used cuss words when I told him, oh, yeah, he had done got me angry. And I said, well, hey, guess what?
Si Robertson
Well, y'all got a name for that, don't you? What you call that?
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah, I said, hey, slick. Yo, I'm. I'm.
Si Robertson
Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Ryan Reynolds
And then, hey, he's too playing.
Si Robertson
Yeah, yeah. He respects his elders.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, yeah.
Ryan Reynolds
When he gets me mad, he does.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
He's just always trying to get edge on you. So you. Hey, look, you got a birthday coming up. What are you going to be? 77.
Ryan Reynolds
77.
Phil Robertson
77. What are you doing for 77?
Ryan Reynolds
Playing poker.
Phil Robertson
You having a party?
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, yeah, yeah. Avery's playing the music and afterwards, playing the game.
Phil Robertson
Okay.
Jase Robertson
Is that what the party is? I got invited to the party.
Phil Robertson
I didn't know if it was a surprise party or not.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, it ain't no surprise.
Phil Robertson
Okay?
Jase Robertson
You can't surprise this man.
Ryan Reynolds
Phillip just hey said, hey, me and your wife got together. We're throwing you a party. I said, I know it.
Phil Robertson
I'm aware.
Jase Robertson
How did you know it?
Ryan Reynolds
I'm the one that says, hey, throw me a party.
Phil Robertson
How did you choose your location of your party? We don't want to tell everybody.
Jase Robertson
Everybody.
Ryan Reynolds
I said, hey, you know, until plenty of people go, hey, we'll set up two tables. Well, unfortunately, when I bust the first table, I go to the second table. And with all their money, too, me.
Phil Robertson
And Johnny D be over at the kitty table.
Jase Robertson
Well, I ain't gonna be able to.
Ryan Reynolds
Make it because I know ain't no kitty table with this bunch of I'm with.
Phil Robertson
Oh, but then I'm gonna bring my kids. That way I got a reason to leave.
Jase Robertson
I'll be at the kitty table because my 9 year old told me to throw him a party and y'all's parties at the same time.
Ryan Reynolds
Because if you have any doubt, go talk to a fellow brother, because, hey, we invited him to play with us one time. He clipped everybody for $4,500.
Si Robertson
Good grief.
Ryan Reynolds
Yo, and when we got ready to leave, no, we're walking out the door. And I said, hey, by the way, we playing again Friday night. You want to, you want to, you want to come? You know, he said, hey, don't ever call me.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, I'm out.
Ryan Reynolds
He said, I've never played with anybody, you know, especially there's 10 people at the table. He said, I've never played with 10 people that they won't fold.
Jase Robertson
Yeah, I'm out.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
So, hey, size birthday party. Expensive.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, it's cheap to get in. It's gonna be expensive to stay.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh yeah. Especially if Willie's there. Because if me and Willie get it in and he's playing.
Jase Robertson
Oh yeah, I ain't doing it.
Phil Robertson
You gonna have him a birthday cake too, in case he shows up. We should do the podcast from your birthday.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, I'll have him. I'll have one thing. You brought plenty of cash.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Oh, I'm out.
Ryan Reynolds
Hey, I got enough to cover you there. Oh boy. Old Brad.
Phil Robertson
I guarantee you.
Ryan Reynolds
I said, well, okay. I'm just checking, son.
Phil Robertson
Oh, man. Well, look, we got a special guest coming in. I'm gonna step out.
Jase Robertson
But we've very special guest.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, we've got Young Sage.
Ryan Reynolds
Y'all done got me somebody in here and I didn't even know it.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, look at there. We got young Sage coming in. So I'm gonna step out and let her have this chair. That way she by her dad. And don't try to hurt Uncle Sigh.
Jase Robertson
I look nervous cuz I know who's going to be traded on.
Ryan Reynolds
You already know better than that.
Phil Robertson
What?
Ryan Reynolds
He's going to try it.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, but maybe she wants to give you a choke for your birthday or something.
Ryan Reynolds
I don't know.
Si Robertson
No, we'll use J.
Jase Robertson
It's going to be me.
Ryan Reynolds
Homie don't play that.
Si Robertson
Homie don't play that.
Ryan Reynolds
Sage knows it too.
Phil Robertson

All right, so we have Sage in the house and in the building. Are you ready, Sage?
Si Robertson
Yes.
Jase Robertson
She's here.
Ryan Reynolds
She's always here.
Jase Robertson
So sigh. You've seen Sage in action, right?
Ryan Reynolds
Yep.
Jase Robertson
Sage, we have questions for you. We? I've been told that you've choked out grown men. You have taken them down.
Ryan Reynolds
Yep. That was her older sister.
Sage Robertson
Oh, yeah.
Si Robertson
Sage is my youngest daughter.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Y'all listening? I have three daughters. One of them's 19, 17. And then the 10 year old come along. The wife said, I want one more. Yeah. After a big gap, you know, I don't got up there pretty long in the tooth. So I argued against it for a little bit, but. But now that she's here, I'm kind of glad it happened. You know what I'm saying?
Jase Robertson
The protege is here.
Si Robertson
That's right. She's. She's my new hunting partner and she trains you just see with me. But yeah, I tried to. I tried to weed some of that Robertson out of her. It didn't happen.
Jase Robertson
It didn't happen.
Si Robertson
She got a lot of Robertson there. That blood happened. That blood is thick, hard.
Ryan Reynolds
Eddie, so do you.
Jase Robertson
Are you more like your mom or your dad? Probably my mom probably Your mom. But you train every day. How often do you go to train with your dad?
Sage Robertson
Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and sometimes Friday.
Jase Robertson
So you're pretty serious.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, she's in training most of the time.
Jase Robertson
She's ready.
Si Robertson
Yep. She's about four little about four years in. So she's pretty solid for a ten year.
Ryan Reynolds
Not only that, I've watched her. Okay. Because she was learning some moves when we went to Houston. And you know, I was watching the young lady that was training her. You just tell her once and then the next thing I know she's, you know, they fix and have a little contest with all the kids. Well, she starts, you know, just annihilating everybody. They have a little fist pump when they start. Well then the next thing that happened is what we go, let me go.
Si Robertson
Well, tell Uncle Sigh what happened when. When your older sister brought her boyfriend over who is now her husband Joey. Who is by the way, Jersey Joe's son. Yeah, great kid. Love him to death.
Ryan Reynolds
But tell uncle a pretty good sized young man.
Si Robertson
Tell Uncle Sigh exactly what happened that day.
Sage Robertson
So he was like, he went to our house and he sat on the couch.
Jase Robertson
Mistake number one, don't sit on Sage's couch.
Sage Robertson
My dad said that to like practice like the rear naked choke. And Joey didn't know how to tap. Like when you tap that means like you're out.
Jase Robertson
So he didn't tap.
Phil Robertson
He.
Sage Robertson
He blacked out and he, he fell down and he like dropped his phone and like five seconds later he stood up and he's like, what happened?
Ryan Reynolds
Just choked up about 7 year old.
Jase Robertson
So you choked out your brother in law. That's a good, that's a good way to get you.
Ryan Reynolds
I was there. She come running in, jumped up behind him and they gotta put your arm around it and they cut off the oxygen supply.
Si Robertson
Well, why don't we let Sage show you exactly how to apply that choke.
Ryan Reynolds
No, I don't.
Si Robertson
On Johnny D. Well, on Johnny, dude.
Ryan Reynolds
Because she come in one day, Stone it invited me for.
Si Robertson
I don't know. You can stay sitting down, Johnny.
Jase Robertson
I can stay sitting down?
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Okay, just kind of turn to the side. Now look, sage know this. 5 seconds tap out is when you start feeling the blood leaving your head.
Jase Robertson
She's a tiny child.
Si Robertson
I know.
Ryan Reynolds
It don't make any difference, all right? This is all about technique, J.D.
Jase Robertson
Oh my goodness.
Si Robertson
You better get that head where it goes.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, there we go.
Jase Robertson
Yeah. Okay. Okay, hold on, hold on. I'm gonna try and last a little longer.
Si Robertson
Hey, try it again.
Jase Robertson
Try again. I. I was so nervous, I. I.
Ryan Reynolds
Decided, oh, you did right nice.
Si Robertson
Crawl that hand up a little high. Get your head good and tight.
Jase Robertson
How strong is this child? Yeah, she's the strongest child. I've always warned my boys about you.
Ryan Reynolds
Look here.
Jase Robertson
Go home and warn them again.
Ryan Reynolds
This. This. What she's learned is not about strength.
Jase Robertson
Well, she's very strong.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, no, no, no, no. But I'm saying it's nothing about strength because, hey, you're way muscular than she is. She's going, yes, you are.
Jase Robertson
You didn't feel her? F.
Ryan Reynolds
Stone had invited me for a steak one night over there, and I'm sitting on the couch, she comes running in outside, been playing and got right in front of me, squared up and said, uncle Si. House said what? She said, you want to wrestle?
Jase Robertson
No.
Ryan Reynolds
You don't say, get back out in the yard. No, I ain't wrestling you.
Jase Robertson
Is that what he told you? Do you lift weights? I got a lot of questions now that I've felt the arm of a grown man on my neck. Except it was a. You're only 10, are you 11? When do you turn 11?
Sage Robertson
August 11th.
Jase Robertson
11. That'll be easier.
Si Robertson
Tell Johnny D what your routine is. Tell him what you have to do to be able to look at your device.
Sage Robertson
So when I get home from school, I have to do 30 squats, 60 lunges.
Jase Robertson
Okay.
Sage Robertson
20 pushups and a one minute plank.
Jase Robertson
Whenever I used to work out with your dad when I was trying to lose weight, he was big into making me plank. That's why I didn't like him very much.
Si Robertson
The plank is the best exercise in the world.
Jase Robertson
Just sit there until you want to cry.
Si Robertson
But when she finishes that, then she's allowed to look at her device and play her games with her friends.
Jase Robertson
But are you aware that your forearms are very strong? You are okay. I'm just making sure. I'm still impressed because I was expecting, like, I was. I was. I legitimately knew, like, okay, she. She knows the hold to choke me out. But you're still a 10 year old girl, so I did not expect it to feel that much pressure.
Si Robertson
Chokes are tight.
Jase Robertson
I mean, that was. Yeah, my neck still hurts. Did you do that on purpose?
Sage Robertson
Maybe.
Jase Robertson
So, Sage, what we do know, everybody's heard tons of stories about you and your dad and all y'all do together, right? What's your favorite hobby? Is it deer hunting or is it jiu jitsu with your dad?
Sage Robertson
Probably jiu jitsu, because usually we go to like, competitions and when we go to competitions, it's really fun. You get like a bunch of medals and then when you train, I don't.
Jase Robertson
Know if you know that they don't hand out those medals to just anybody. You earn those.
Sage Robertson
Yeah.
Ryan Reynolds
That'S what tickled me one time, is a girl that won and Sage told her, she said, you know, the only reason you won. Girl said what? She said, because I couldn't be in your league.
Si Robertson
Yeah, that's really not a true story. What Sage is like. I didn't say. That's what uncle Si is good at.
Jase Robertson
He'll talk the trash, Sage. You just. You just keep it cool, calm and collected. We'll let him talk.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah, I would love to be your sibling.
Si Robertson
Whether or not going anywhere, uncle size hype man.
Ryan Reynolds
I said, hey, you don't want to. You don't want to mess with me because, hey, look, she's right here with me.
Jase Robertson
The other problem is I'll get you in fights because he'll start them and then you'll have to finish them.
Si Robertson
You know who else was good at that? It was your papa. He was.
Ryan Reynolds
Hey, well, why not? You know, it's a grizzly bear thing. Hey, if you're gonna be a bear, be a grizzly.
Jase Robertson
Gonna have muscle.
Ryan Reynolds
Hey, I got a grizzly over.
Sage Robertson
I've only lost twice, so.
Jase Robertson
In your competitions, you've only lost twice.
Sage Robertson
And I've won, I think 20.
Jase Robertson
That's awesome.
Sage Robertson
And I have 13 gold or. No, I have 11 gold and 2 silver.
Jase Robertson
11 gold, 2 silver. And what. What belt are you for those out there? Listening.
Sage Robertson
I'm a gray belt. With one stripe.
Jase Robertson
With one stripe. And that's new, isn't it? You just did all that?
Si Robertson
If I remember that right, she got a gray belt about seven, eight months ago, so.
Sage Robertson
No, it was one year ago. I got it March 8th.
Si Robertson
Oh, a year ago. Okay, March.
Jase Robertson
You remember she said exactly when she got it, so. And what belt are you working towards?
Sage Robertson
Yellow.
Jase Robertson
Yellow belt.
Si Robertson
Yeah. Gray belt is by the equivalent of an adult blue belt. So she. She. She's pretty proficient for a 10 year old.
Jase Robertson
Well, I. My neck can attest to that. And I'm glad I have this beard to protect me in case she ever sneaks up behind me and tries to take me out.
Sage Robertson
Well, well, I can just like go behind your ear and just like sneak around.
Jase Robertson
You're not allowed anywhere in my vicinity. Now I feel like now she's like, oh, it's a fun thing I do with John David. Just hang out.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah. If you're sitting on the couch in her house. Nope. We were. We were.
Jase Robertson
Are you headed back to school now?
Si Robertson
Yep.
Jase Robertson
She said she's like, I'm a double check on this one.
Si Robertson
Yeah, back to school.
Jase Robertson
Don't. Don't mess with anybody in the playground. Well, I should say they shouldn't mess with you because you probably don't mess with people. You just waiting.
Sage Robertson
There was this one boy at our school who we were playing football, and he was like, he was on the other team, and he, like, didn't call a foul because it was his ball. And it was like, a foul because he, like, pushed my friend. So I pushed him back and then. And then he pushed me back, and then I grabbed his arm and I took him down.
Jase Robertson
Taking him down on the playground.
Ryan Reynolds
I knew that was coming.
Si Robertson
Yeah. This is the first time hearing about this.
Jase Robertson
You know, that's a proud dad moment. Ain't no boys messing with girls.
Sage Robertson
That happened, like, Monday.
Si Robertson
Oh, would you hit arm drag on him? How'd you take him down? Arm drag.
Sage Robertson
Arm drag. And then I did the valley drop, and then I walked away.
Si Robertson
An arm drag and a valley drop? Yeah.
Jase Robertson
Then walked away. She said, I, I'm just. That's your warning shot. Well, buddy, whoever that was, she's headed back to you. Good luck today at recess. Sage, thanks for joining us. That was awesome.
Ryan Reynolds
Practice makes perfect boys.
Si Robertson
Yeah, he's a lot more talkative than Bullfrog is.
Phil Robertson
Hey, my woman is looking good. Her hair is getting so long. I'm telling you. And look, I, I told her about it, and she was like, I've always looked nice. I said, but you've been looking better.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, that's true.
Jase Robertson
Strategy, better story.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, I mean, if that works for you, why does she look better, Philip? Well, I, I, she's taking four pills a day, which are the perfect pill to make her neutral to make her hair grow.
Ryan Reynolds
We're trying to let everybody get in on.
Jase Robertson
You know who else is a big believer in neutrophil?
Ryan Reynolds
Who?
Jase Robertson
Our resident expert on weird things. Russell.
Phil Robertson
Really?
Jase Robertson
Yeah. He's the best hairdresser in town. Guess what? His wife takes neutropol and he does.

Jase Robertson
The thing about it was I, I have kids her age and they don't have like they're bony forearms. Her forearms were muscle.
Phil Robertson
Nervous, little torque involved.
Ryan Reynolds
Well, no, no, but hey, but you gotta think about it. Okay. She said okay. Four and five days a week. Okay. She's doing that for what, two an hour? Hour.
Jase Robertson
And every day she's doing squats and lunges and all the things she's doing.
Ryan Reynolds
Then when she comes home, she's got to go through a routine of staying in shape.
Phil Robertson
My favorite part is she's the playground enforcer at the local Christian school.
Ryan Reynolds
If you do tell her the facts. Yeah, okay. It ain't no flab. This is not.
Jase Robertson
He had a story in there somewhere and we finally got there.
Si Robertson
Yeah. Oh, that's that.
Jase Robertson
Well, this kid pushed me.
Si Robertson
Yeah, the kid pushed her friend.
Phil Robertson
And I was like, yeah, that's what I said. She's the enforcer, man. She just.
Ryan Reynolds
I was waiting when she said, he pushed a friend of mine and then I pushed him and I was waiting for it and she said, then I took him back.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. Then he pushed me. Then I said, dang.
Jase Robertson
And then she did some arm bar to jump back to walk away.
Si Robertson
Arm drag to the valley drop.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah, yeah.
Phil Robertson
She said, just let you know, buddy. Just to let you know he learned a lesson. She on a path to wearing an earpiece.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah. Come on, clown.
Phil Robertson
Protecting somebody. Like, you're gonna look over and you think, oh, look at this woman in the suit with this earpiece. She ain't nothing. The next thing you know, you're gonna be looking behind you. You're like, what happened?
Jase Robertson
You eagle to pigeon?
Phil Robertson
Yeah. You're just like, what just happened?
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah, you better go. You better be like, eagle.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Oh, she's gonna be looking behind you, boys. If she keeps on this path, she'll be a unicorn when she's 20 years old. There's, I think, two female black belts in the state of Louisiana that I know of. Very rare. It's a. It's an extremely difficult thing for a woman to do. Extremely so.
Jase Robertson
She in fourth grade or third grade?
Si Robertson
She's in fifth grade.
Ryan Reynolds
Fifth grade.
Jase Robertson
Okay. As a person who just spent the night with a bunch of fourth graders about her age, she'd have whoop all this. I wish she would have been at the camp. Hey, go beat up all these people, because I can't.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. Stand out there. Make sure they go to sleep, because I'm going to take a nap.
Jase Robertson
Better enforcer than me.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
That was unbelievable.
Phil Robertson
Oh, Lord.
Si Robertson
But Johnny D, get them kids up to the school.
Jase Robertson
I'm afraid for them. They got to wrestle her. They gonna be toast.
Si Robertson
No, it'll be one of the best things you ever did.
Ryan Reynolds
I'm serious. Because, hey, look, they learned. They learned something there, y'all, that will. Will help them throughout their life.
Si Robertson
They learn how to stay calm under pressure and think their way through problems instead of reacting.
Jase Robertson
Well, the best part of the whole story was he pushed my friend. I said, don't do that. Then he stepped to me, and he ended up on the ground. And then I walked away. I was like, that's.
Ryan Reynolds
No. Hey, he pushed her. Yeah. Then he made the mistake of pushing me. I pushed him back. Then I was waiting for it. I said, all right. And what came next?
Jase Robertson
It ended.
Phil Robertson
I like to think she stood over him just for a second.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, no.
Jase Robertson
She waited at him. She let him know.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Oh, yeah.
Ryan Reynolds
There's one thing, Sage.
Phil Robertson
This is your free one.
Si Robertson
Free one. You walked the next one.
Ryan Reynolds
She's got confidence on cost. She's got confidence.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
I love it.
Si Robertson
But we do teach them to avoid conflict.
Jase Robertson
Yeah, but.
Si Robertson
But if the conflict comes to you.
Phil Robertson
I ain't good for. For standing up for a friend, man. Like, she was just watching. There you go.
Ryan Reynolds
Well, the whole thing, okay, it's all about defense. You're never really the aggressor but when they aggressed you. Yeah, then you take them down. Like I said, then I'll take him down.
Phil Robertson
Nick Saban made a lot of money with that philosophy.
Ryan Reynolds
I'm telling you.
Si Robertson
I'm just glad she didn't follow up on what happens after you take them down. Well, then I'd probably be in principal's office right now.
Phil Robertson
She'd have been able to stay the whole time because she wouldn't have to go back to school for the rest of the week. She'd have been doing homeschool for a few days. Yeah, getting caught back up.
Ryan Reynolds
It's really, you know, a eye opening experience to watch somebody that's good at what they do.
Phil Robertson
Oh, it don't matter what it, you know what.
Ryan Reynolds
And it doesn't make any difference what they're doing. Yeah, but if you see somebody that's really good at something, it's fun to watch.
Phil Robertson
Oh, it is. 100%. No, it's that you've went.
Ryan Reynolds
You went from just learning about it to an exceptional level of actually doing it.
Si Robertson
And Jiu jitsu is a lot like golf. You'll never be as good as you want.
Ryan Reynolds
You're never going.
Si Robertson
There's no end to it.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah, there ain't no end.
Si Robertson
There's a counter to every counter to every counter.
Ryan Reynolds
But I watched that with all the masters. Okay. Because you got to think about that. All the masters of all these. I don't even know what to call them.
Si Robertson
Martial arts.
Ryan Reynolds
Martial arts.
Phil Robertson
There you go.
Ryan Reynolds
All the masters of martial arts.
Si Robertson
Yeah, that was a good tournament.
Ryan Reynolds
You know how many, how many was it? How many?
Si Robertson
It was quite a few.
Ryan Reynolds
It was a lot of them. But hey, guess who won it all? The grappler jitsu master. And look, when I like kung fu.
Si Robertson
Always Gracie.
Phil Robertson
That'S just Walker, Texas Ranger.
Ryan Reynolds
In a hole.
Si Robertson
You know, Chuck, no course is the black belt and Jiu jitsu.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. If Chuck Norris been there.
Ryan Reynolds
No, no.
Phil Robertson
Now he making bottled water. Good for him, man.
Si Robertson
And it's really good water.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Oh yeah. I didn't tell you that story.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, that's at the Brookshires.
Si Robertson
Al met him somewhere in a vent and all. He said he wanted to meet Chuck Norris and take a picture, you know. But all Chuck Norris wanted to talk about was this water he found.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Underneath his ranch while he was doing his bow flex. That's right. And the, the story goes his they found that aquifer right underneath his dojo when he was. All the sweat coming off. Chuck Norris.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Made a steeped in the ground and got in this water and now you.
Phil Robertson
Can have a little piece of Chuck.
Si Robertson
That's right. So you drink his water. I mean you, you take 10 years off with however old you are and.
Phil Robertson
Then you put on a cowboy hat and drive a single cab Dodge.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
And then get to kicking a piss out of everybody.
Si Robertson
That's right.
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
What? What? Roundhouse kick.
Jase Robertson
I need some of that water.
Phil Robertson
Look up. You got a buddy named Trevette, man. It's cool, man.
Si Robertson
Oh, it's really good. Every time I see it, I buy it.
Jase Robertson
What's the brand again?
Si Robertson
Chuck Norris. I don't know.
Phil Robertson
His face is on it.
Si Robertson
So he's really looking at Brookshire's.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, it's at Brookshire's. Oh, down there by the Ozarka, they.
Si Robertson
Wrap C Force Water DeForest. Yeah, that's it.
Phil Robertson
Got his face on it. Yeah, yeah.
Si Robertson
Oh, I highly recommend it. It tastes like that. Fiji.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, yeah, there it is.
Jase Robertson
You're powerful. Perfect.
Phil Robertson
But y'all see which Chuck they use? Walker. Yeah, they know.
Jase Robertson
With his shirt on.
Phil Robertson
They know. The rest of us grew up at our grandparents house watching that stuff. Growing up knowing that he was going to save the day with seven minutes left. And then that give him time to wrap up and have a good feel good hug moment.
Jase Robertson
They'd be shooting him, he'd just be kicking their guns.
Si Robertson
They had the best explosions of any TV show ever.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, very Duck Dynasty esque. Just blow stuff up. When in doubt, blow up a truck.
Si Robertson
Blow it up, get.
Phil Robertson
Pyro was big, but Johnny D. What we got in them emails? Hello, @duckcallroom.com we ain't read an email in a minute.
Jase Robertson
Well, Sarah emails in because Martin, you are fastly Approaching A number 40.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, I still got four months. Slow down now. Don't be putting.
Jase Robertson
Well, she's not. You were Both born in 85.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, we're the 85 Crew.
Jase Robertson
El Farmington. Is El Farmington a thing Arkansas or is it just Farmington, Arkansas?
Ryan Reynolds
I don't.
Phil Robertson
I know there's Farmington, Utah, but I.
Jase Robertson
Don'T know why she put L there.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, I don't know.
Jase Robertson
Anyways, she wants to know what you're gonna do to celebrate the big four zero. Are you weird about birthdays?
Phil Robertson
What do you mean?
Jase Robertson
I didn't like 35. It felt weird.
Phil Robertson
No, I didn't.
Jase Robertson
Halfway to 70, man.
Phil Robertson
No, I mean, I don't.
Jase Robertson
I didn't like that.
Phil Robertson
I don't know. I'll probably buy my kids some sort of gun to commemorate me turning 40.
Jase Robertson
You gonna buy your kids?
Phil Robertson
Well, they're gonna end up with it eventually. I'm saying I'll get it.
Jase Robertson
You're gonna buy you.
Phil Robertson
I get it myself. I'll get myself and use it.
Ryan Reynolds
Age.
Phil Robertson
Is it gonna be a little. I mean, it'll be something. Yeah, it'll be something I don't have. I don't know, probably.
Jase Robertson
What do you not have?
Phil Robertson
Well, I mean, I got them all, but I mean, there's different models of things. Like when I turned 30, Brittany and my mom bought me a 410 over under. So it'll probably be something. I don't know. I may go try to find me an old 16 of some sort of.
Ryan Reynolds
Let me. You know that duck hunting one.
Phil Robertson
What? Over, under 4 10.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah, you can use it.
Phil Robertson
I've killed exactly like three ducks with it. And it did its job. And I said, I got nothing else to prove here.
Ryan Reynolds
Wow. No, no, because me and a buddy, we hunted doves and we had a single barrel. 4 10. He'd shoot one, I'd shoot one. Yes. 410 is a magnificent little gun.

Si Robertson
50 F100.
Phil Robertson
When's that?
Si Robertson
October.
Phil Robertson
October. So 40 in August and 50 in October.
Jase Robertson
Well, I think Sarah actually proves a point here because she says she asked what your midlife crisis is going to be.
Phil Robertson
I.
Jase Robertson
Because hers is right.
Phil Robertson
I think I had mine at like 25.
Jase Robertson
What was your midlife crisis?
Phil Robertson
I just ate everything in sight, Little Debbie. I mean, yeah, I just. Waffle House.
Jase Robertson
My midlife crisis was working for Willie.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. I mean, I don't know.
Si Robertson
I mean, I went through that same crisis. You did?
Phil Robertson
Yeah. You just eat for God. Right? You just eat your. You eat your emotions. Right. Like.
Jase Robertson
Well, she's saying, like, so now she's super into raising chickens, doing the sourdough thing.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, I ain't doing that.
Jase Robertson
Growing beans and tomatoes. No, you're not doing anything.
Phil Robertson
I mean, we got. We've had a garden, though. Like, that's not. That's not. That's just part of life here. Like, that's not midlife crisis. Like, I put up yesterday morning. I put up like 40ft of cucumber trellis. So.
Jase Robertson
So that. Well, she's just saying people yalls age are way better off than people Hunter's age.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. Yeah.
Jase Robertson
I mean, and the fact that Stone's about to be 50 kind of blows my mind.
Phil Robertson
I mean, I would say I would look good.
Si Robertson
Well, I appreciate that.
Ryan Reynolds
I would argue it goes fast on it.
Si Robertson
Oh, does it go fast?
Phil Robertson
I would argue that my midlife crisis a couple of years ago, hey, I.
Ryan Reynolds
Had a guy tell me when, like, he was in his 65 and I was, you know, mid. At mid-30s. He said, hey, you better enjoy it while you can, Robertson. He said, you'll. You'll blink. And he said, you'll Be my age. It was true. I blinked and I. 65.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Ryan Reynolds
Now blink again. Boom. Seven fixed be 77.
Phil Robertson
There you go. Look at there. All.
Ryan Reynolds
All the things go by quickly.
Si Robertson
If you. When you sleep 18 hours a day, it goes by real.
Ryan Reynolds
Goes quicker. That's right.
Phil Robertson
Rip Van Winkle a few years.
Ryan Reynolds
Hey, a man's got to do what he enjoys doing.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Si Robertson
Oh, yeah.
Phil Robertson
There you go. And what you're good at, that's the.
Ryan Reynolds
Key to success, boys. Do what you like doing.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
So what was your midlife crisis a few years ago?
Phil Robertson
I mean, I would just say my overall shift as a hunter, my. My priorities on all that stuff changed. Like, it still for a while was.
Jase Robertson
Just kill them just right around when you had children.
Phil Robertson
Now even before that, a little bit.
Jase Robertson
That's what. Carter changed me a lot.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. No, but, I mean, the boys absolutely did. But just now I don't care if I kill them. Like, I'm going. Doesn't matter.
Ryan Reynolds
Went from the killer phase to the actually appreciation.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. And if it's not a boy, I'm not pulling the trigger. Like, I don't shoot brown ones. I don't intentionally shoot brown ducks anymore. That does happen. Things get caught in crossfires and weird stuff happens, but I do. Not intentionally.
Ryan Reynolds
But it's more fun doing what. What you're saying.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, man.
Ryan Reynolds
Yes.
Phil Robertson
I find more enjoyment in it. Same deal with deer. Like.
Ryan Reynolds
Well, I think.
Phil Robertson
I don't know.
Ryan Reynolds
He taught me that with deer hunt.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. Like, okay.
Ryan Reynolds
It's way more fun if you're. Cause like, you're. You know, I hunted one deer for two years.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, it's more fun. Gives you a story. Gives you a reason to go, well.
Ryan Reynolds
It left me kind of. Well, what in the world am I going now? I chased him for two years for. Finally got him.
Si Robertson
Yeah, well, the older you get, like, so when you're young, you want to kill as many as you can kill and all that, keep up with the numbers or whatever. But the older you get, you realize, wait a minute. I don't have much time left on this earth. I better start making some memories that stick with me for the rest of my life. So it turns, it goes from how many can I kill? To all about the memory you're making, who you're with.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. And doing it your way.
Si Robertson
Every time I put a piece of taxidermy on the wall, I put a picture next to it, and that picture captures that memory that happened that day. And every time I go in my house or the duck call room or whatever, I'll look around and a big smile comes on my face.
Phil Robertson
Hunter, you got any voicemail? Fires 131821, 56559 is the number. Call and leave. Uncle sigh. A voicemail.
Jase Robertson
I'm actually curious as to one thing real fast. Hunter, how old are you? 24.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, 24.
Jase Robertson
Just doing all the math of all of our ages. We cover the gamut here in the duck.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, we got. Yeah, we've got.
Si Robertson
He's Hunter. Still not RPS stage.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. And he's going on a trip this weekend to work that out.
Jase Robertson
Be sure to wear a scarf in North Carolina.
Ryan Reynolds
Thank you.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. Or a glove, if you will.
Si Robertson
I wanted to add real quick, I think my mom's going through a midlife crisis. She just bought a violin out of nowhere.
Jase Robertson
Oh, no, that's. Hey, look, she just got my attitude.
Ryan Reynolds
No, I want to be making music.
Phil Robertson
That's just thrifting.
Jase Robertson
She was at a thrift store.
Si Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. So she bought a violin. She bought a violin and went and watched Minecraft last night. So now she looked.
Jase Robertson
She liked me. She look at something like, I bet I can do that. And then she made a purchase something. And then she goes, no, I can't do that.
Ryan Reynolds
My wife and. And her.
Phil Robertson
Is it a violin or a film?
Jase Robertson
Violin.
Ryan Reynolds
Went to seek Minecraft. Said it was funny.
Si Robertson
You're. Wow. Just like Christine went to see Minecraft.
Ryan Reynolds
I think that's what they want to see.
Phil Robertson
Christine did Jockey. I wish she'd have been in. I wish she'd have been in there with Hunter.
Ryan Reynolds
Well, no, no, I wish Christine.
Jase Robertson
Hunter's been there 10 times.
Ryan Reynolds
You know, sometimes you just got to go and see a good comedy.
Jase Robertson
Did you see the kid that brought the chicken into the movie theater?
Phil Robertson
Why'd he bring a chicken?
Jase Robertson
There's boys, I'm assuming, Hunter's age all over this country.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, yeah, they're doing.
Jase Robertson
They wait for a certain moment of.
Ryan Reynolds
The movie Chicken Jockey, and then they scream.
Jase Robertson
They act like they just won the Super Bowl.
Ryan Reynolds
That's right. And I scream and everybody holds a chicken.
Jase Robertson
They've had to put police in the theaters.
Ryan Reynolds
Yep.
Jase Robertson
Jack Black showed up and said, oh, hey, y'all, calm down. Also popcorn.
Ryan Reynolds
Hey. They throw popcorn all over theater, everywhere. Yep.
Phil Robertson
Really?
Jase Robertson
Yeah.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, man. All they did in the chosen was went and bought a few lambs and doves to sacrifice.
Jase Robertson
They brought that in the theater?
Phil Robertson
No, but it was just on the screen. I didn't see. No. I didn't see no other animals. That's crazy.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, chicken Jockey, you Got a chicken under your arm. When you go in theater certain time.
Phil Robertson
Whenever it happens, you let him go.
Ryan Reynolds
You.
Jase Robertson
You seen the video?
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah. Chicken jockey. And throw him up. Let him go.
Jase Robertson
When Jack Black.
Phil Robertson
My favorite part is that side knows this.
Ryan Reynolds
Can we.
Jase Robertson
Can we watch the video?
Si Robertson
All right.
Phil Robertson
We may not get to a voicemail because we've. We've done officially went to chicken jockeys.
Si Robertson
How does he know that?
Phil Robertson
He watches a lot of.
Jase Robertson
Do you know that that's on Fox News right there?
Phil Robertson
Yeah, that's what it was.
Jase Robertson
Tik Tock Chicken ch.
Si Robertson
Yep, Fox News.
Jase Robertson
This is Fox 5 Atlanta. I'm pulled.
Phil Robertson
Chicken jockey.
Jase Robertson
Yeah. He says that I. My kids thought it was hilarious. I didn't really know what it meant. Yeah.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, I have no idea what it.
Jase Robertson
Yeah, watch this guy. Watch this guy. This is in. They're throwing popcorn, and one kid brought a chicken and threw it. He's just thrown at.
Phil Robertson
Horrible scene. What happened to the chicken?
Jase Robertson
Well, we don't know.
Ryan Reynolds
We don't know. Oh, wow.
Jase Robertson
So they're just trashing the theaters, which is a problem.
Ryan Reynolds
No, that was one of the things they said on it, said, hey, look, some poor guys got to clean up all of yalls big mess. So don't do that.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, I'd lock the doors.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah. He said, hey, call the cops.
Phil Robertson
The movie be over. I'd lock the doors if I was them. I said, y'all can leave when y'all get this crap swept up.
Jase Robertson
Well, the problem is. Here we go. Here's the one with the chicken. There's the movie.
Ryan Reynolds
Jack Black.
Jase Robertson
They're all sitting there. This kid's going nuts. He says, look. Look at it.
Ryan Reynolds
Oh, there you go. He said it. Chicken jockey.
Jase Robertson
And there, look, there's a kid with a chicken.
Phil Robertson
Oh, my goodness. And a mask. Yep.
Jase Robertson
I had to turn the moot.
Phil Robertson
Ain't got to worry about me being there.
Si Robertson
I just wore a suit. No, the movie ended.
Ryan Reynolds
Everybody going nuts.
Si Robertson
You know, they pulled it off, sir.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Jase Robertson
I will say this, though. That is selling a lot of movie tickets.
Phil Robertson
Yeah. That's unbelievable.
Si Robertson
I don't. I don't understand.
Ryan Reynolds
Come to the movie and throw popcorn.
Jase Robertson
Because that's the only reason these kids go in that movie theater owner. I'm like, I really don't want this to happen. But this theater is full, and every one of them bought $18 popcorn.
Phil Robertson
Yeah.
Ryan Reynolds
But here's what.
Phil Robertson
Margins go through the roof.
Ryan Reynolds
Here's what gets me. It's all about breaking the law. Everything they're doing nowadays is about breaking the law.
Jase Robertson
That is true.
Phil Robertson
Toting a chicken somewhere. What if it's an emotional support chicken?
Jase Robertson
Oh, my God.
Phil Robertson
Is he got to have a vest.
Jase Robertson
Is it illegal?
Ryan Reynolds
They'll probably have a vest for the stupid.
Si Robertson
I don't understand these people. People at all. Why would you go even watch a movie that's about a kid's video game?
Phil Robertson
Hunter's eyes just got real big.
Jase Robertson
Hunter went twice.
Si Robertson
I don't understand it. I took my dad to go see it last night.
Phil Robertson
Yeah, that's true statement. They come walking out at the same time.
Ryan Reynolds
Yeah, everybody's going crazy, Stone.
Phil Robertson
That's when I was like. I was like, oh, I get to meet the parents. Because I'd never really shaken your dad's hand. Then I forgot that your mom come up here with your grandpa. She remembered, reminded me. She was like, oh, we actually met when I brought my dad up as an old green jeep man. Yeah, crap, I forgot about him. Like he's 62 and just got his driver's license. That's tight. J.D. you want to send us out of here?
Jase Robertson
First Thessalonians 2, 11 and 12, for you know that we dealt with each other with 1st Thessalonians 2, 11 and 12, for you know that we dealt with each of you as a father deals with his own children, encouraging, comforting and urging you to live lives worthy of God, who calls you into his kingdom and glory. If you think Stone's whole life with his daughters is just about jujitsu and hunting, you'd be wrong. Because the whole time he's doing that, he's pointing them in the direction of seeing what a godly father looks like. And that just reflects on our God, our Savior and our Father in heaven. So props to you on raising a strong, powerful. Girls. Stone, that scare me. Neck hurts.
Phil Robertson
We'll see.
Ryan Reynolds
Y'all about to create and know the Creator.
