Hi, I'm Nancy Dufresne. Welcome to our podcast channel. We know you'll be blessed by today's message. Yesterday, God spoke to me about what to do in this service. Tonight, of course, we're going to minister to anyone who wants hands laid on them for healing. But he told me what direction to take before we come to that time tonight. And I want you to turn with me, if you would, in your Bibles. Let's go to Luke chapter four. Luke, chapter four. Thank you, David. Thank you, worship group. Thank you, Ms. Cindy and Ms. Reba and all of those. My, my, my. When Paul stood before King Agrippa here, this man was a carrier of so much of the revelation of God. And when he stood before the highest man in the land, so far as government seating, you can bring me back a little bit in volume. I feel like I'm a bit loud for me. And he didn't try to reach deep into a revelation that would overwhelm the king, but he stood before King Agrippa and he just said, I was on the road to Damascus and a light shined roundabout. And he told his story because in his testimony, King Agrippa was reached. And I want you to know that in your testimony, people need to hear it. They don't need to maybe hear every detail, but they do need to hear the dealings of God in your life. Because men are hungry to know that God will move in their life. And really the word of God is a record God moving in the lives of men. And we have that because that's what we're hungry for, right? And so he reached into his testimony when he stood before royalty, and his testimony was what heaven put on his heart. We have the testimony of the woman with the issue of blood that was healed because she touched the hem of Jesus garment. And there is only heaven could tell us how many people whose faith have been stirred and whose bodies have been healed because she gave her testimony that day. We read it and we just read it as a part of scripture. But it's her life. It's her testimony. So God said to me, for tonight, I want you to tell the testimony of the healing anointing coming upon this family. I'm not talking about this family per se. I'm talking about God moving in the lives of people, and he's moving in your life. And we need to acknowledge it. I know that we need to tell it often and share it with people. And I know my husband made this statement one time. I wrote it down and I hadn't forgotten it. He said, preachers, tell your testimony and see what God will do among the people. John Osteen had told his testimony so much to his congregation that he would start with the first line and they'd repeat the second. He'd tell the third line and they'd tell the fourth. Because he wasn't just talking about his life, he was talking about God moving in the life of his people. And when you hear a testimony, you can hear answers and instruction. And you can also, when you hear the testimony of God moving in a life, then you can recognize his movement in your life. Never devalue and don't. And if I could say this, don't want some radical far fetched testimony at the rate of diminishing. Maybe you've just been kept your whole life. Born again in the church as a child, raised in the church, stayed with the plan of God. Nothing dramatic, just the stability of heaven anchoring your life. And my, my, my, that's the one to be preferred. Because I've heard people make statements like, I wish I had a better testimony. What better testimony? Aren't we glad that Jesus didn't get up and say, well, I was on a drunk last night, but God came and rescued me. I was off living with several women, but God came and moved on me. I'm not trying to devalue him. I'm saying that's not more credible. Jesus had nothing radical in the sense of getting his life off course. And heaven moved in a divine way. Just his arrival was divine enough. You know, God has a plan for your life and that's divine. Stay with the plan. That's very, that's very supernatural. But I want to read out of Luke chapter 4 and verse 16 and it says, and Jesus came to Nazareth where he had been brought up. And as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the Sabbath day. Now notice that as his custom was, he went to church as his custom was. What was that one translation said as his habit was, he had spiritual habits. God's created you as a habit forming ability with a habit forming ability so that you don't have to wait for an unction to do what you ought to do. Habit will direct you. When we were raised in the household I was raised in, it was our habit to go to church and we never had to get up on Sunday morning to decide. The decision was made by the habit that was put in place through the standard of the home. And many people struggle with things because they don't have right habits in place. So as his custom was, he went to the synagogue on the Sabbath day. If Jesus needed to go to church, you need to go to church. Period. See what his testimony right here told us just taught us something really huge, right? And it says, and he stood up for to read. Well, his habit was to go to church. But evidently his habit was to stand up and read also. He had a place of serving in that synagogue, and there was delivered unto him the book of the prophet Isaiah. And when he had opened the book, he found the place where it was written. The Spirit of the Lord is upon me because he's anointed me to preach the gospel to the poor. What's he doing? He's giving the job description of the anointing that's upon him. He said, because he has anointed me, number one, to preach the gospel to the poor. Notice he didn't save to raise. To raise funds for the poor, To start a needy program for the poor. No, the gospel is the cure for lack. Money's not the cure for lack. Because as a nation, we've thrown trillions of dollars at poverty. And it's not changed anything except made people mad when we don't give it. I'm not saying we shouldn't be generous. I'm not saying that. I don't have a problem with that. But unless you give them the gospel, you've not given them any cure. Amen. You give them the money and you give them the gospel. But he said, preach the gospel to the poor. He sent me to heal the brokenhearted. People say, well, he's talking about the unsaved there. The unsaved aren't poor. They're dead. They're spiritually dead. They're not poor. You can't call the unsaved poor. They're dead. They're spiritually dead. He's not referring to those unsaved here, or he'd have called them the unsaved. He sent me to heal the brokenhearted. Look at this. To preach deliverance to the captives. What? To preach deliverance. What are we supposed to tell the captives we preach to them. You're already delivered. That's what. That's the message for those who are bound. I'm talking about those who belong to Christ. There's no sense in coming under bondage to anything. And you have to tell people. You can't just. You have to teach them something so they know what to give that and what answer to give to things that try to come up and try to captivate them. And so you Preach deliverance to the captives. You tell them you're already free. You're already free. And you tell them why they're free. Because he whom the Son sets free is free. You have to tell them that. So you preach that. What's that? You proclaim it to them. You preach deliverance to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind to set at liberty them that are bruised. Can I tell you. Let me just get off. Let me go back to this. Preach deliverance to the captives. Jesus paid everything so you'd never be held in bondage by anything. Now, this is the great danger of sipping saints because it intends to put you back into bondage. To agree with something that has the power to bind you is to dishonor. And you start playing with something that has addictive power and you're putting yourself in the way of captivity again. And that's the great danger of it. That's the wrong of it. Amen. Don't play with anything that can take you captive. Amen. Well, I just do a little bit. Well, it'll end up doing a bit on you. Praise the Lord. Verse 19. To preach the acceptable year of the Lord. And he closed the book, and he gave it again to the minister and sat down. And the eyes of them that were in the synagogue were fastened on him.

And he began to say unto them, this day is a scripture fulfilled in your ears. No one was thrilled when they heard him say this. In fact, they got so angry, they went to take him out. They were going on a field trip. They took him to the edge of the cliff, intending to push him off the cliff. What was it that Jesus was proclaiming? What the anointing upon him would accomplish. And the devil stirred up these people because he did not want them to know what the anointing would do for them. And he's trying to intimidate Jesus. Don't preach that again. So he preaches this the first time in his hometown of Nazareth. And the response was, we're pushing you off the cliff. Nobody said, preach it. Preach it, Jesus. Nobody said, yes, Amen. Hallelujah. And that sets me dancing. Nope. Their response was dishonor. Their response was offense. Mark six talks about it, and they tried to push him off the cliff, but it says he walked through the midst of them. Meaning they couldn't do what they intended to do as long as he stayed with the plan. But why did the devil get so upset? Because one moment of contact with the anointing undoes things. He's tried to yoke people up with for years and decades and even through whole family lines, not because they're under a curse, but he works in pattern. And he tries to repeat that pattern until somebody stops it. Like dad Hagin talked about. He said family divorce ran through all his family. He said it ran through his. His brothers were divorced, both of his brothers, his sister was divorced. And he said when him and Mom Hagin got married, he said, we stop it. It's not running through our family because the devil will try to work patterns until somebody says, not here. Amen. And so the devil did not want it announced and proclaimed what the anointing would do, because the devil will spend years working on your mind, working in your family, working against your marriage, trying to yoke up something, trying to yoke you up with something that will hold you back. That's why the devil is okay if you do all kinds of things in church services. As long as it's not under the anointing, you can preach. As long as it's not under the anointing, you can teach. As long as it's not under the anointing, you can lay hands on people. As long as it's not under the anointing, you say, really, can you lay hands and it not be the anointing? Remember, they said they'd stand before Jesus said, did not we cast devils out in your name? And he said, depart from me, you workers of iniquity. I never knew you. It's by his power, his ability, right? So the devil hates the anointing. And so he tried to get Jesus, don't ever preach that sermon again. By trying to intimidate him, trying to rise up, raise up such an uprising against him that he wouldn't ever do it again. So Jesus, in one vision that he appeared to dad Hagin, Jesus told dad Hagin, this is the first sermon I preached in every city I went. Because unless I tell them that the anointing is on me and what it's on me to do, they don't know to release faith in that anointing. So he said, so that's the first sermon I preached everywhere I went. Think of that. That after he got taken to the edge of the cliff, he says, I know what I'm preaching next week, and in every city I go in. And he violated that tactic of intimidation. And he now I got the, you know, the ringy dingy winner right here. This is the sermon I'm going to preach. Why? Because it's the anointing that makes all the difference. And he's talking about the anointing. So I want to talk about the anointing coming on this ministry for healing, because that's what makes the difference, is the anointing, not this family. Amen. Not something we've done, but it's about the anointing. Why? Because we want you to release faith in that anointing. Not try to get near people, but get in that anointing. So my husband was born into a home of mental illness and alcoholism, and he was going the exact same way as he grew. He got married in his early 20s to someone and wasn't born again. And his life was going the exact same way. Mental illness, alcoholism. And he. At the age of 25. And his. He just swore that he didn't want his life to go the direction of previous family members, but yet he sees it playing out just like that in his own life. So he goes to his priest. He was raised Catholic. He goes to his priest and he says, I need help with my life. He says, my life is going the wrong direction. He said, there's mental illness in my family. His mother had been in and out mental institutions his whole life. He had to help raise five children because she wasn't available many times to raise the family. And he, being the oldest, had to handle that. And he goes to his priest and he says, I need help. And the priest said, well, you just need to go through catechism again. So he handed him some catechism tracts, and he says, then you need to get involved in the church. And Ed said, well, I'll be glad to, but what do I do to get involved? And he said, well, there's a men's bake sale on Saturday, and you need to get involved. And Ed said, in what way? He said, well, we need someone to man the Budweiser booth. And Ed said, don't you. Aren't you listening to me? That's my problem. I've been manning the Budweiser booth. And so he puts those catechism tracts in his pocket and walks out hopeless. Because the only place he knew to go to for help didn't have answers. And I'm not trying to slight or make fun of somebody, but if they don't have help. So he left that place and went to the only place where he knew to go, and that was the bar. And he went and he felt hopeless because he didn't know where to turn. So he's sitting on that bar stool, and while he's sitting there, God sees the desire and the Hunger for something different. And the voice of God comes to him audibly. And he hears God say, you're going to go all over the world and preach the gospel. And he said to the bartender, whose name was Joe, Joe, set everybody up in here with a beer. I'm going to be a priest. And he walked around handing out catechism tracts to all the people in the bar. But that the next day, a co worker who had been inviting him to church for a year and a half just kept at it. Ed declined him every week. But this time when he asked him, he said, if I go with you once, will you leave me alone? And he said, yes, I'll leave you alone if you'll just go once. So the very next Sunday, he went once and got born again. Yeah. So he was so grateful because he went to the place where he found help. So he goes to the pastor that Sunday night and he says, I've been living for the devil for 25 years, but now that I'm born again, I want to do something for God. Is there anything I can do for God? And he said, yes. He said, we don't have anyone to clean the toilets in the church. And Ed said, that's my job. I'll do it. So he became the toilet cleaner in the church. So grateful to serve in any capacity. Can I tell you this? It doesn't matter what you do, it just matters that you do it. And if you ever lose that attitude and you ever lose that heart, you need a fresh lesson. So he served for a time just cleaning the toilets. And if you ever was around my husband, everything was done with great energy and zeal and excitement. And I guarantee you, those things would have been spic and span. And so he was promoted to door greeter. And so I can imagine that he would shake the hands of the people with great enthusiasm as they came in the door. Then after time, he was promoted to deacon. And as a deacon, he got to help serve the communion elements. So one Sunday, they didn't preach healing in his church. He didn't know anything about healing. He had never heard about Jesus healing people and they're receiving communion, but he had never been taught, what is this all about? So he's holding the communion elements in line with the other deacons that are standing up there. And he says to God, he says, God, I don't even really know what this is all about. And God spoke. God opened his eyes and he had a vision. He saw the ceiling of that building disappear. And he saw Jesus hanging on the cross. And he saw words of sickness and disease begin to fly through the air and strike Jesus body. And he said words he recognized, words he didn't recognize. And then he said there came so many so fast he couldn't read them all. And he didn't even recognize them all. But he was seeing what the prophet Isaiah saw. Sickness and disease of humanity being laid on Jesus. Not only did my husband serve as a deacon, and there came a time where the pastor said to him or announced to the congregation, we need to build a new church building. And God spoke to my husband and said, yes, I want you to build it. So he goes to the pastor's office and he says, God spoke to me that I'm to be the foreman on the job to build the church. And he and the pastor said, yes, God told me the same thing. But he said, but we don't have any money to pay you. So Ed went home and told God, he said, well, you told me to build the church, but there's no money to pay me. And God said, I'll pay you. And he said, okay, but if you ever don't pay me, going and getting a job. So he starts building the church and he gets into the first several weeks and he doesn't have money to buy food. And he hit upon the idea of going behind the Safeway grocery store and they would throw out day old food, day old bread, you know, things that had gone past the expiration date but really weren't ruined. And so he would go back there and get food to feed his family. And he did that day after day. And he was out there one time and he heard, as he was out there, he heard the door open and somebody yelled at him, hey, what are you doing? And he turned around and there was an employee standing there and he said, oh, I'm so sorry. He says, I thought because it was in the trash, it was available that I could take it. And he told him, why do you need it? And he told him why he needed it. And he said, come back tonight at 7 o'.

Clock.

So Ed came back the next that night at 7 o' clock with his pickup. And when he drove up, there were pallets of food laid out for him to take. And he collected it all and went and fed the whole congregation, just went and dropped it off at their homes. And he said, and every week that man would lay out pallets of food for him.
B

And he says, I didn't just feed my family, I fed everyone in the church with those pallets. Of food. People say, well, I wouldn't go eat behind the grocery store. Well, my husband used to say this. Faith will do whatever it takes. If you love God, you lay down your pride, you lay down, because that stuff will just hold you back anyway. You might as well get rid of it early. It'll trip you up later if you don't. And so he went on and his family was provided for food wise. But after about three months, he had fallen behind three months in his mortgage. And he told God, he said, I told you that if you don't take care of me, my family, that I'm going to get a job. And he went down to the carpenter's union to get assigned a work order, and he got a work order. And as he was standing there holding that work order, God said, what are you doing? And he said, I'm getting a job. And God said, you already have a job. And he said, yeah, and I told you, if you don't pay me and you don't take care of me, I'm going to get me a job. And so Ed said, I just couldn't do it. So he says, I threw down that work order and I went down to the church and started working on it. And he said, while I was there, he said, a man came up to me and said, Ed said, I work for a man who has a cleaning business. We clean buildings, maybe dentist offices, doctor's offices, restaurants, you know, fast food places. We clean them in the nighttime. And said, we didn't know if you would maybe need a job. We know you're building the church, but we need employees. And Ed said, I'd love to do it, because he would work all day and then he would work all night cleaning. And then he'd sleep maybe two to three hours, then go back at it again. And that's this phrase, faith will do whatever it takes. So he did that for a period of time, and so he got caught up on his mortgage, and then he went to work. He was going to go to work and found out that the owner of the cleaning company had had a divorce in his home. And he was disillusioned. He just picked up and left the city and left the business and just abandoned it. So they were all out of a job. So one of the companies that he'd been cleaning for called Ed and said, well, you didn't show up last night. Why didn't you come to clean the building? And he said, well, the company is shut down. He says, I don't have a truck. I Don't have any cleaning utensils, cleaning equipment, he said, because the owner just picked up and left. And they said, well, why don't you do it? And he said, I don't have any equipment of my own. And they said, we have all the equipment. We'll give it to you if you'll just keep cleaning for us. So he said, okay, I'll keep cleaning. And he was able to pick up all the contracts of that previous business owner. And God blessed him so much, within a few weeks, he had 12 trucks and employees of his own. And he didn't have to clean anymore. He just hired people that did all the cleaning. And he's just being the owner. And now he's got him a business. You put your hand to something, and God will see somebody. Can I tell you what? You just got to know this. When God told Elijah to go anoint Elisha to be prophet in his room, where did he find him? He found him out in the field working with 12 yoke of oxen. An ox is bigger than a cow. I mean, there are massive animals. 12 yoke of oxen, would that be what, 24 oxen? Because they're yoked up, two side by side, One man handling him. He was a working man. He was a man that was producing. I tell you what, when God wants to find somebody, he doesn't find somebody that just sits at home and confesses and prays. But they produce not. I'm not diminishing, confessing and praying. I'm just saying some people think they're more spirit. They're too spiritual to work. But spiritual people produce. So when he saw that Ed would do anything, he found a man that he could entrust with something far more valuable than cleaning business. And so he's running his cleaning business. But now the church has run out of money to even buy the supplies. So Ed had to take the money from the cleaning business and buy all the supplies to complete the church. Because God won't let him off this assignment till the church is done. He says, I got to get this building done so I can go on with my life. So now he's back to not really having too much money. He had enough to live on, but he didn't have enough to lay up anything because now he's buying everything, all the lumber, everything to get this church done. And so while he's there building the church, working on it, one day a man walks up and hands him a brochure to the Full Gospel Businessmen's World Convention. That's going to be held in Denver, Colorado, at the Hilton there in Denver. Ed's living in Southern California at the time. That means he's got to fly to this location. And Ed said, God spoke to Ed and said, I want you to be at that meeting. Ed said, I don't have any money to go there. And God said, sell your house. So he sold his house to be where God told him to be. You don't do something like that unless God tells you to. But if God tells you to, there's something larger than you ever dreamed of connected to it. So he told God, he said, God, this meeting's in 30 days. I can't get my house sold and the money in hand to make that trip. And God didn't say anything back to him. So that day he put the house on the market, and the next day it sold cash. And the next day he had all the cash in hand. So he booked himself a ticket and a room and went there to the Denver Hilton Hotel. And he heard there for the first time, three preachers he had never heard of before. He heard a pastor by the name of John Osteen. He heard a man by the name of Kenneth Copeland, who had just started his preaching ministry. He heard a man by the name of Kenneth Hagin. And God said, this is one of the primary reasons I brought you here, to connect you with these men. He said, one day you'll pastor. And he said, john Osteen is someone you can pattern yourself after. And he said, kenneth Copeland is to be a teacher in your life. But he said, kenneth Hagin is your spiritual father. And he said, you stick with him all of his life. So that was divine connections made being where God told him to be. So he heard the word of Faith message preached for the first time. Preachers, don't misunderstand this phrase, word of faith. Word of faith does not just mean a faith sermon. Word of faith is the new Covenant. The New Covenant is the word of faith. It's all by faith. When you preach the New Covenant, you're preaching the Word of faith. And contained in that word of Faith is skill and understanding on faith itself. So he heard this word of Faith preached for the first time. And he came out of those meetings a different man. And he. There were many different meetings going on in that hotel at the same time. They had different meeting rooms, and you could select what preacher you wanted to go hear. And so there was a youth meeting that was going to be down in the basement. They called it the Dungeon. And Kenneth Copeland was going to be down there preaching to the youth. So Ed snuck into that meeting, although he was in his 30s at the time, time. And he heard Kenneth Copeland preach the message, the Covenant man, David. And he came out of there on fire. And he said to someone standing nearby when he came out, does that man have any sermons on tape that I can buy? And there was a blonde woman standing next to that person, said, there sure is. And she handed him a brochure. And it was Gloria Copeland who handed Ed that list of tapes because Brother Copeland didn't have them there. He was a last minute fill in for that meeting. And so Ed got hold of those and he went back home to California after those meetings, locked himself up for three months in a garage and just listened to those hour after hour, day after day, week after week, and it rewrote something on his spirit. But in that meeting, that conference that God sent him to one of the meeting rooms, he was going to walk into to hear a particular preacher. And there were three steps that led up to the meeting room. And there was a woman laying across those steps. And so Ed said to a man who's standing there, what's the matter with the woman? Ed's thinking she's having a medical emergency. He had never seen anybody fall out under the power of God. So he thinks he's ready to apply, you know, some emergency help here. And so the man said, well, she said she wanted to be filled with the Holy Ghost. I laid hands on her and there she is laying on the floor speaking in other tongues. And Ed having never seen that before in his church, never seen the laying on of hands, anything like that. And he said within himself, God, I hope you never. That word never will catch you. It'll just catch you. It'll just catch you. Why, it's a bit of a defiance in some ways that it's used. And God will help you out of that defiance. And so he said, I hope you never. Before he could finish it, he was saying to himself, never do anything like that to me. Meaning fall out in front of people. He said a light flashed through the whole lobby of that hotel and there were over 50 people in that lobby. And Ed fell out. And every single person in that lobby fell out under the power of God all at once. And when Ed fell out, he said there was a woman, a large woman fell right on top of him. He said he wanted to get up and he couldn't, not till she got up. So while he's laying there, Jesus walked in and put a healing anointing in his hand. And his hand started burning like he's holding a coal of fire in his hand. And so finally that woman that's on him gets up, and he gets up, and she said to him, something happened to you while we're laying there? Said, yeah, Jesus walked in and he put something in my hand. She said, that's healing anointing. She said, the reason I'm so large is she said, there's a cancerous tumor all the way around my midsection. And she said, lay your hand on me. And he just touched her on her head. Didn't even say anything, just touched her. What was it anointing imparted. And when he touched her, he said, that cancer popped like you popped a balloon. It instantly disappeared. And her dress fell alongside of her. And she's normal size. And everyone in that lobby saw it. And they started running up, lay hands on me. Lay hands on me. And he was out there for over an hour laying hands people, and healings happening everywhere. Well, was it worth it that he sold his home? No wonder the devil fought so hard at different phases of obedience. Because God was bringing him into an anointing that God had earmarked for his life all along. And the devil is trying to interrupt that all along the way. You better pay attention to the strategies the devil uses, because it's not just to trouble you, it's to rob you where God's trying to take you. Just obey and be faithful. Obey and be faithful. Don't just do what's convenient. Do what he says. So he goes back home and talks to his pastor about it. The pastor says, no, we don't believe that here. You're not doing that here. And just to make a long story short, he basically was shunned in the church. And this was the home church he loved. He built that building. He had to leave the church because they would not accept. And God was trying to take him into more. Listen, when God's trying to take you into more, go with him into more. Don't stay behind for anybody. Don't stay behind for any best friend. Don't stay behind for any relative. Go on in. I mean, can you imagine Abraham at 75 leaving everything he knew to move into more with God? It takes faith, but if you're hungry, you can have it. So he came home and had to leave his church because they just basically shunned him. But he was invited to come and preach at a Bible school, at a Bible study every week that was held. And so he went and he had been listening to Brother Copeland's tapes, his messages. That word of faith message had gotten in him. And so he takes his old reel to reel tape player, because it Wasn't cassettes or 8 tracks or anything by then, as those big old reel to reels. And Ed would load up the car with the reel to reel tape player, and it took lots of batteries. And he'd load up those tapes and he would go set it up for the people there in the Bible study. And he would set it on some kind of table. And Ed would say, I'm going to lay hands on the sick and minister to them. But first, Kenneth Copeland's going to preach to you. So he would push play and then he would go sit down and they would all listen to Brother Copeland preach the word of faith message. He did that week after week after week. And finally one day as he was loading up his tape player, God spoke to him and said, leave your tape player at home. And he knew what that meant, that he was going to have to do the preaching that day. So he went there and he preached as best as he knew. And it lasted a whole 15 minutes. And he said it was the biggest mess you. He said, I messed up my words. I stumbled over my words. What I said didn't make sense. And he says, I stormed out of that room and went into a side room and slammed the door. And I went in and had it out with God and said, don't you ever. Well, there you go again with that, you know, don't you ever have me to do that again, meaning have me to preach. And God didn't. Just about the next 50 years or so. But while he's in there having it out with God, he said, I did so bad, I messed up my words. It didn't make sense. And there was a knock on the door, and there was this little gal that when he said, come in, she stuck her head in the door and she said, brother Dufresne, I wanted to show you my little girl. He said, well, what about her? Said, look at her feet. And she's about 3 years old. And he says, well, what about her feet? She said, you don't understand. When we came in, she had club feet. I don't know if people know what that is today. I saw it when I was a little girl once. But it's basically people born with a deformity that their feet are turned backward on their legs and they face the wrong direction and you can't walk on that. And so she said, when we came in, she said both of her feet were club feet, but while you were preaching, I watched her feet straighten out. And look at them. They're perfectly straight. Brother Dufresne. And he said, you mean she got healed during that sermon? And it wasn't his sermon. It was the anointing. No wonder the devil hates the anointing. Yeah.
C
Hallelujah.
A
Brother Copeland said to him, because Ed later, as they had some opportunities to be together in later years, Ed had told Brother Copeland that testimony, that story. And Brother Copeland said, did you ever send me any offerings for off all those sermons I preached for you? But you think about it, that Brother Copeland became the right kind of a hero in the home of the Dufresne family. And he was a voice that helped set us along with dad Hagin, set us in the way that a foundation was laid in this family for helping us to fulfill what God had for us. So you can imagine that when Brother Copeland has invited us to be on the Victory Channel and we're on there every day, and he's the one that asked for a daily broadcast and inviting us to preach at Southwest Believers, I can't help but go back over 50 years and say that's the beginning of it all. I'm not the beginner of anything. I'm just carrying on. Amen. Amen. And so through the years that. That healing anointing that my husband had tangibly in his hand, it began showing up in mine also. It does matter who you're associated with. I said, it does matter. Right before Ed and I were. Before we met and married in 1984, Ed was coming off of a commercial flight one day, and God spoke to him and said, turn around as he was exiting off that jetway. And when he did, he turned around and he saw 100 angels lined up behind him. 50 rows, two side by side. You say, well, how did he know the number? Well, when you're in the spirit, you know. And so he said to God, he said, God, what are those? He said, I have just dispatched 100 angels to assist you in the healing ministry. You say, are angels healers?
B
You?
A
Jesus is the healer, but they cooperate with healing power. They are. They are ministers. They minister something good. That's what. Hebrews, chapter 1, verse 14. Are these not all ministering spirits sent forth? See, God sends them forth to us so that we can send them forth to assist us even. And so these 100 angels were sent forth by God to assist this ministry, this anointing, to assist in the healing ministry. And you say, well, do you have scripture for that? Well, the pull of Bethesda, an angel would come down and deposit healing power. No, the angel's not the healer, but they cooperate with healing power. And so that angel would deposit a measure of healing power in that water. That was enough for one and so forth. From that time forward, there were very supernatural and spectacular things of the involvement of angels. When Ed would minister to the sick, you'd see sometimes people do almost contortion type moves as those angels would adjust and fix spines and straighten out and hearts be healed. And he was, not long after that event happened, he was over there. I referred to it last night when in 1984, he was in Germany and there was a man who was thrown into a prison over there for preaching. He was in the prison for 30 years. And they assigned him to carry firewood. And that's what he had done for 30 years in that prison work camp. And he was so bowed over, his spine so twisted from the heavy lifting he did for 30 years, he walks into that service that my husband is conducting there in Germany, and he's bowed over at the waist and he can't straighten up. And as soon as he comes up to be ministered to and Ed lays his hand on him, he begins to straighten up. He just keeps going up and going up and goes perfectly straight. But when he hit perfectly straight, he didn't stop there. He was picked up in midair until his feet were dangling above the ground. What was that? An angel straightening up, cooperating. And as a sign and a wonder, it didn't stop with straightening. It had to go into raising. And five months after my husband went home to be with the Lord, I had forgotten about those angels that had assisted him. And God spoke to me. And he said, when your husband came back to heaven, he said those angels didn't come with him because their ministry is in the earth. And he said, 50 of them stayed with you. And he said, but the other 50 were dispatched to work with those men who have healing anointings on their life that were associated with your husband. So it does matter who you're connected to, because those 50. And he named a few of the ministers by name to me who received some of those healing angels or angels that cooperate with healing power. And God said to me, if you'll be faithful with the 50, more will come. And I thought, how do you be faithful with the 50 angels? And when I thought that, then he spoke that, and he spoke to me, and he said, that is, be faithful with them, that is, tell about them, talk about them in the services. Because when you talk about them and the people will accept it, you're giving them permission to work. They have to work by permission. How many of you know God won't force anything upon anyone. So tonight, when we lay hands on people, it's not just you and me in the room. There's healing angels in here. They have if you need body parts, they have them. If something needs adjusting, they know how to do it. And they're not practicing. They're perfect at it. Amen. And you may feel something, you may not. You may see something, you may not. It doesn't matter about that. What matters is that you receive, that you release your faith. Because power always meets faith. Now, dad Hagin had an experience when he received the healing anointing in his hands. Jesus said to him in the vision that he had in 1950 in the Rockwall vision, Rockwall, Texas. He was there and he was caught up to heaven. And Jesus put a healing anointing in his hands. And he said this. He said, when you sense that anointing leave your hand and go into their bodies, then you know they're healed. Now listen to that. When you sense that anointing leave your hands and go into their body, then you know they're healed. I'm not praying for the sick tonight. I'm laying hands on and imparting healing anointing. This is another method. There are multiple methods whereby someone can be healed. You can receive on your own by faith, you can quote the word and you can do things cooperating with all these other methods. But because God so longs for his people to receive healing, that he's laid out many different methods whereby anyone can hook on. This is just one method. It's not the only method. Don't be limited to this method. Amen. But it's a very valid method of receiving healing. And so Jesus said to dad Hagin, when you sense that healing, anointing leave your hand and go into their body, then you know they're healed. Notice what Jesus called healed, the anointing going in. Jesus didn't say, when their body changes, then you know they're healed. He didn't say, when the pain leaves, then you know they're healed. He didn't even bring up the natural. He didn't even bring up the physical. He just said, when. When you sense that anointing go in, then you know they're healed. So you're authorized that when hands are laid on you tonight, if you come up in the healing line that healing anointing is going to go into if you'll accept it. And once it goes in, you don't have to try to get it to go in. All you have to do is just say, I take it. Amen. And when it goes in, then according to heaven's definition, you're authorized to call yourself healed because the anointing went in. Amen. The anointing going in equals healing. That's what the renewed mind knows. Now, if you're just going to go by your body and say, well, my body doesn't feel any different. Give the anointing time to work. How many times have you ever taken an aspirin and the moment you swallowed it, you go, well, that didn't work. No, you give it time to move throughout your entire system. Why don't we give God at least what the same. If I could say this, recognition and honor, we give appeal. Amen. And dad Hagin would teach us. Many people miss receiving their miracle because they limit God to the instantaneous Amen. Something can happen instantaneous, but if it doesn't happen instantaneous, no problem. The anointing going in still equals healing and the body will catch up. Listen, this realm is a lot slower than God's realm. Don't be duped by this realm. Amen.
C
Hallelujah.
A
If God says, you're healed, you're healed. If God says the anointing going in equals healing, then you say, the anointing went in me, therefore I'm healed. The anointing went in me, therefore I'm healed. The devil says, well, the body hadn't changed. The anointing went in me, therefore I'm healed. You answer that. Amen.
C
Hallelujah.
A
Well, praise the Lord. Stand, if you would, with me, everyone. And how many of you say, we believe in the power of God? What's the power of God? It's the anointing of God. We believe in it. Amen. And we're here to cooperate with it. Not to be critical about it. Not to. Not to. To be, if I could say this, hesitant toward it. And when we call you up here, those of you who come up in the line tonight, I'm going to encourage you something. Don't come up here until, if you can praise, you can, but set your attention, turn your attention towards God and his word. But if you're going to pray in the Holy Ghost when I come to you to lay hands on you, quit praying because you're going to be putting out and we don't need you putting out. We need you receiving in. Amen. So we're good receivers. Amen.
C
Hallelujah.
A
Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. I'm going to ask. You can take all of that, Steven. I'm going to ask. Who in here? You say, I came for the purpose of having hands laid on me for healing tonight. Raise your hand if you would. Raise it real high. Let me see how many we're dealing with. Okay, thank you very much. I'm going. Who am I asking? Kenny? Are we wanting them to line up in these. These aisles right here? So I'm going to ask first of all, this side section, if you would come out to the. This aisle and this side section come out to this aisle. Then we'll get to the middle section in a moment. We just don't want you to have to stand so long in the aisle. So we'll get to you in a moment. But if you want hands laid on you for healing, just step on out.
C
Hallelujah.
A
Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. How many of you say, thank God for the anointing? Thank God for the word of God.
C
Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
A
Praise the Lord. David, let's sing something. Whatever you want to do.
B
By his stripes we are healed by his stripes we are live by the stripes of Jesus Christ we are. Sacrifice fulfill the word of God by the spirit stripes of Jesus Christ. We are healed by his stripes we are healed by the stripes of Jesus Christ we are free. The sacrifice fulfill the word of God Remember he By the stripes of Jesus Christ we are here.
A
Now. I want to ask this. I know I've got you out in the aisle, but I want to do something. If you have a heart condition, any kind of a heart condition, I want to begin with you. So come up here. And it can be the heart, it can be something in addition to the heart. It doesn't matter. But any heart condition, come up here. And if I call, I don't know if I will, but if I call for multiple conditions and hands are already laid on you, you don't need to get back in the line. The reason being that anointing that goes in will deal with everything. Amen. You don't have to have your hand have hands of on you multiple times. That anointing will address anything. But I want to deal with these because there's an endowment upon us to minister specifically with those with heart conditions. And when there's an endowment, it's going to minister specifically to that. And sometimes we see this. That angels will begin working. You may sense that you may not. It doesn't matter. Don't try to sense anything. Just receive. Amen. And don't be concerned. If I could say this. Well, I didn't fall. Well, you know that the healing isn't in the falling. The healing's in the receiving. Amen. So it's not about any kind of a manifestation. Don't feel like I didn't. If I didn't, you know, if there wasn't some kind. Kind of a manifestation, I didn't receive. No, we received by faith. Amen. Now, another thing, you'll see that the ushers, sometimes they have chairs available. If you want a chair put behind you, you just tell one of the ushers. And the reason we're doing that is I've seen so many people, they're so concerned that they're going to fall that they don't receive. They've got their attention on, am I going to fall and am I going to have a difficulty if I fall under the power of God? And some of you might not have ever seen someone fall under the power of God. Well, what is that? Well, the power of God comes on the flesh, and something's got to give. You know, that's what happened to Paul on the road to Damascus. He fell off his horse that he was riding. I mean, the anointing of God, the power of God that was present, overwhelmed his spirit flesh. And Jesus would speak. Remember when they came to arrest him and they said, you know who they're after? And he said, that's. I'm. I am. That's me. And every. All the soldiers that came to arrest him fell down on the ground. What was that? Power was in manifestation. And you're not healed because you fall. You're healed because you. You receive by faith. Amen. But thank God. I like. I like the fallen, too. Why is that? I like feeling something, don't you? But it doesn't matter whether you feel it or not. The power works the same. Hallelujah.
C
Hallelujah.
A
Praise the Lord. Congregation. Reach out your hand toward Jesus. Congregation. It matters to you, and it matters to them that you hook up your faith. Right? It matters to us that they receive what they need.
B
Need.
A
We've been in points of need at times in the past, and we want people to be interested that we receive. So we're. We choose to be interested that they receive. The Word says this. Pray one for another that you may be healed. That's one thing that God does. He connects. He connects Us in such a way that if you will be invested in someone else's healing, it'll boomerang back into your life and you'll have a harvest of healing. Amen. So we don't want to just sit uninterested or distracted, and it not matter to us. We choose to make it matter to us. Amen.
C
Hallelujah.
A
Congregation, reach out your hands toward these and those who are up here and those who are going to get up here in the line tonight. I want you to say this after me. When hands are laid on me, the anointing of God will go into my body because I'm a receiver of that anointing. And when that anointing goes in, it'll drive out pain and symptoms, sickness and disease, and I shall be whole. There's no question about it. I shall. I'm a receiver. And today is my receiving day. And every day my receiving day, because I always receive.
C
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
A
Congregation, release your faith with us. Father, we thank you for that healing anointing that goes in that heart be whole. That heart be whole. For him or you for him. What's the matter with him? Father, we thank you for holding. We thank you making every bit whole. In Jesus name, Father, we thank you that he. There it goes in. There goes in that healing anointing. There goes. There it goes in. Behold, in Jesus name. Behold, there it goes in love. Behold, there it goes in love. Behold, in Jesus, Jesus name. Behold, in Jesus name. Behold, in Jesus name, Behold, in his name. Right there.

Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. All right, ushers, go ahead and let those who are lined up in the aisles come up to the front, if you would.
B
By his stripes, we are healed. By the stripes of Jesus Christ, we are Jesus. Sacrifice for you the word of God. By the stripes of Jesus Christ, we are here. Strike. The.
A
Father, we thank you for that.
B
Here sacrifice for.
A
Let me give a. A quick word of instruction. When people are concerned about falling and they put a foot back like that, that anointing comes right back out of them into me. I don't want that for you. Don't be occupied about if I'm going to fall or not. It's about receiving. I want you to receive. Don't do this. I'm not pushing you over, but I'M saying I'm more interested in you receiving than you standing. And when you do this, you might not realize and you might not intend to, but when you do that so you won't fall, that anointing comes right back out. And I don't want it to come back out. I want it to go in and do a work. Amen.
C
Hallelujah.
A
If you're concerned about falling and you don't want to get a chair, you know you don't need. If you don't need to, don't. But I'm saying don't be concerned about that. That's the mental, that's the natural. And it'll rob you. Whole in his name. Behold, in his name. Behold, there it goes in this earth. Be. Holy. Behold, there goes in your love.
B
Behold.
A
Behold.
B
Jesus gathering his name. Jesus christ. We are here. The word of God.
A
In the middle section. If you want hands laid on, you can go to either respective aisle that's closest to you, if you would.
C
Hallelujah.
A
Hallelujah.
B
Jesus Christ. By the stripes of Jesus Christ. By the stripes of Jesus Christ. By the stripes of Jesus Christ.
A
Now let me say something to the ushers. I'm sure you've been told, but I want to remind you because. Because I've seen it missed already. When you put a chair behind somebody, an usher has to be behind that chair, stabilizing that, okay? Because if they hit that chair in a wrong way, I don't want them to feel like it's not stable. And if you see them, sometimes they fall a little bit off to the side. It's your job to guide them so that they don't hit that chair in a wrong way. Okay, ushers, pay attention. Okay.
C
Hallelujah.
B
Behold, there goes, there goes his sacrifice.
A
We thank you for it. Be whole in his name. Behold, in his name. Father, we thank you for wholeness. From the top of his head to the soles of his feet.
B
We believe you for miracle power.
A
We thank you for that miracle anointing.
B
All.
A
Behold, in Jesus name, there goes him.
B
By the stripes of Jesus Christ. There.
A
Behold.
B
Behold in his name. Behold in his name.
A
Behold. Behold in his name.
B
Behold of his name. Thank you, Jesus christ. Of jesus christ. Of jesus christ. Of jesus christ. He holds his name. We are here by the stripes of Jesus Christ. Word of God. Behold jesus. Christ. Of jesus christ.
A
I come back.
B
Jesus christ. By the stripes of Jesus Christ.
A
Behold, in Jesus name, peace in his name. Behold. Oh, there it goes in your love.
B
We are here by the stripes. Jesus Christ.
A
Behold in his Name, in Jesus name. Behold his name. Behold, in his name. That twin babies. Yeah. Father, we thank you. Every bit of that drying up. Behold, every bit of that drying up. Behold, in Jesus name.

Father, we thank you for that healing anointing going into this cloth and when it's laid upon their body. Whole in Jesus name.
C

We thank you, Father. Hallelujah. Do something you couldn't do before. Move something you couldn't move before. Don't be inactive. Immediately respond to that anointing that went in. You move side to side. Bend over. Do something you couldn't do. We're not checking to see if it worked. We're giving action to that anointing. I said we're giving action. We're putting a demand. We're putting a demand on that anointing because we believe in the power of God. We believe in the power of God. We believe in the power of God. I said we believe in the power of God. We believe in the power of God. Ms. Kendra, come here. I don't know what this is for, but the next something God has for you, the grace for the next something that he has for you. In. In Jesus name.

All those who drove in, pastors who flew in, all of you who came and took of your time and your expenses. I tell you, I appreciate you being. Being here, but not only that, I trust something was received, imparted. And if I could say this, go home and keep it stirred. Keep it stirred. Don't let it go dormant. Amen. What you received in these Services, keep it stirred up. Amen.

I want to say, Pastors Greg and Amy, my goodness, they made it so easy for us. Thank you. We've never been in a church where the lightning tried to, you know, beat us to the pulpit, but they had so many hoops and loops to jump through to address the. The building got struck by lightning, and it, I don't know, hit the power panels and all that. So they had so many extra things laid on them to do. And thank you so much for doing all that. It's a lot. Thank you. And to the congregation of Impact Family Church, thank you so, so much. All the ministry of helps. Thank you. Thank you. Mwah, mwah, mwah, mwah. Love you. Thank you so much. The whole family. We thank you, Father. Bringing them into it. We call them Blessed in Jesus name. We call him blessed in Jesus name. We call him blessed in Jesus name. And we thank you that it'll all come to pass because there's more for you than you ever dreamed of. There's more for you than you ever dreamed of. So don't decide what it looks like. Hear what it looks like and let him show you what it looks like. And then just walk it out.
C
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
A
David Ellis, thank you so much. Appreciate it. Love you forever.

So thank you, everyone. We are so appreciative that you're here. And look how many hands it takes. What I do is different than what you do, but what you do is not less than what I do. And so thank you so, so much. And I say this, thank you for bringing your faith. Because if I can tell you this, you didn't make me preach past the congregation. The congregation took it. So thank you so, so much for loving the word of God, loving the plan of God, and just moving with what God had for us in these services. We love you. We appreciate you. And am I leaving anything out?
C

Host/Speaker: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
Event: High Springs, Florida | JTH Crusades 2025 | Thursday PM
Date: May 12, 2025
Podcast: Dufresne Ministries Podcast
This episode features Pastor Nancy Dufresne sharing a deeply personal and faith-stirring testimony of the "healing anointing" that has marked the Dufresne family and ministry. Speaking at the JTH Crusades, Nancy explores the spiritual significance of testimonies, the power and operation of the healing anointing, and recounts the miraculous journey of her late husband, Dr. Ed Dufresne. Listeners are encouraged to recognize and honor God's movements in their own lives as she powerfully teaches on making room for the supernatural in everyday faith.
Nancy opens by emphasizing the Biblical and spiritual importance of sharing testimonies, drawing from Paul's encounter before King Agrippa and the woman with the issue of blood.
She encourages listeners not to diminish their own testimonies, whether dramatic or stable, noting the power of a testimony is in God's sustaining work, not in its sensationalism.
Nancy examines Luke 4:16-19, highlighting Jesus’ “job description” for the anointing:
She stresses that right habits create a spiritual standard, just as Jesus’ habit was to go to the synagogue.
The anointing, not just benevolence or programs, is the answer to true transformation.
Nancy tells about Ed Dufresne’s upbringing in a family marked by mental illness and alcoholism, his unsuccessful search for help from his Catholic priest, and his pivotal salvation experience. (17:00-20:00)
The turning point:
Early ministry faithfulness:
Sacrificial obedience:
This episode is a heartfelt, transparent, and faith-charged look into the reality of the anointing—from its scriptural foundation to its manifestation in Ed and Nancy Dufresne’s lives and ministry. Listeners are called to recognize God’s supernatural movement not only in dramatic moments but in daily faithfulness, to honor the associations God places in their lives, and to boldly expect the supernatural—in healing, in provision, and in destiny. It is an episode brimming with hope, practical faith, and spiritual instruction for anyone hungry for more of God’s miraculous power at work.
