Hi, I'm Nancy Dufresne. Welcome to our podcast channel. We know you'll be blessed by today's message. How many of you know we establish that truth in our spirit. Struggle's over. The struggle comes from endeavoring to do something apart from him thinking that you have to do what only he can do through you. Amen. The truth of Christ in us is God authored a plan for every single life, and it's an impossible plan to us. And if it's not impossible, it doesn't look like God. But God authored a plan for every single life and then filled us with Himself so He could fulfill the plan through us. And that's why it's an impossible plan to man. It requires Him. Amen. And he never intended that we ever try to accomplish and fulfill the plan apart from Him. But all we have to do is be good at yielding to him in us because he's the one doing the work. Amen. Struggles over. Amen. Hallelujah. If there's an arena we're struggling in, that's an invitation to find out more, rest more on the greater one that's within. Amen. We're struggling over finances is because we're trying instead of resting on the one who is leading, guiding, directing, providing. Amen. Hallelujah. Well, the reason that little boy took off singing that song is because Dr. Bill Winston has made that. That song, his theme song. He. He has it sung every time before he preaches. So does it matter what songs we sing? And if it can't produce something, maybe we ought to rethink what we're singing. Amen. Because songs are nothing but the vehicle to put truth in our mouth. Amen. And it's not by talking about the singing, about the past. It's about who we are and who he is because. And who he's made us to be because he's in us. There's the pinnacle. There's the pinnacle of the truth to sow into the hearts of people. Amen. Ms. Reba wrote that years ago. I don't know. Did you? Have you ever recorded it? We have, but I'd only written one verse years ago. Yeah, but listening to you, I wrote the last two verses right from your sermon. Well. And I'm so glad it was on reserve for us. Yes, ma'. Am. Amen. I tell you. I mean, like, there's the sermon. There's the sermon, right? Hallelujah. Father, we thank you. Tonight we've come. We've come for your plan. Tonight we've come to receive of your plan tonight, we've come to receive of the word. We thank you for the Holy Spirit. Holy Spirit. Without you, it's completely impossible to move with God. And so we. We honor you tonight. We respond to you, we yield to you, we follow you, and we thank you for all that you are to us. For we know this. God planned it. Jesus purchased that plan. But it's the holy Spirit leading us into the fulfillment of it. So we thank you that you are the present one, and we honor you. And everybody said, amen. Turn around and give somebody a great big God bless you tonight. Then you can be seated. Hallelujah. Well, we got to have a good time in prayer, Ms. Lee. And so Sosby's been leading some of the ministers that are coming over. We're in the youth building and we're meeting 45 minutes before the evening service. And so we've invited just the registered ministers to come. And so while she's leading in prayer, I just keep thinking. I said, father, I thank you that what you have tonight for the people is already in me. You have to learn to say that if it's not in your hand, it's because it's already in your heart. And so don't be afraid that if you don't see it in your hand, it's in your heart, and it's as close to you as your very breath. And so I like services that are. Let's start. You see the corner of the handkerchief? Anybody get that? There's a corner. There we go. And pull. We going to pull. Just stand here and watch me pull. Pull with me. Amen and praise the Lord. If you would look at John chapter 14 in verse 10, John chapter 14 and verse 10, Jesus, of course, is speaking, and he makes a statement that startles religion and made religious people mad. John 10, verse 14. Believest thou not? No, they didn't believe it. Believest thou not that I am in the father and the Father in me? How dare him? How dare him put himself not only on the same level as God, but say he is the place where God dwells, that the father dwells in him. He dwells in the father. And religious leaders just went tilt because why devils were going tilt on a man who found that out, a man who realized that, and a man who walked that way. It makes devils mad when you find that out, because this is the pinnacle of salvation. So we could be one with the Father right there. One union with God. Think of it. One with him. And that was the. That. That's the Pinnacle of why Jesus came. Father, that they may be one even as you and I are one. Thank God, in that oneness, we escape hell. But his goal was oneness with Him. And everything else that's good came to us because of the oneness that we are delivered from the kingdom of darkness, translated into the kingdom of his dear Son. That's because of oneness. Amen. Bodies that are redeemed. But that's because of oneness. We can't be one with him and believe that sickness has a place because I'm already claimed. I've already been bought. Amen. So Jesus makes this stunning statement. Believest thou me? No, they didn't. And he said, believest thou not that I am in the Father and the Father in me? And once he establishes that, then he makes this statement, the words. Because of that oneness with the Father, it found its place in his words. You have to establish, you build the truth in you, that you are one with the Father and he's one with you by saying words. Say it. Jesus is declaring this publicly. Why was he so bold to declare it publicly? Because he had built it in him privately. So it was not foreign words to him. It was foreign to them, but not to him. And he's getting up and declaring what was already built in him. He built that in him because he was not born knowing this. He had to find himself in the Word, like you do. And he built the plan of God, agreed with it in him through the Word, declaring the Word, confessing the Word, claiming the Word, and we see him doing it publicly. I am one with the Father. I am in the Father, The Father is in me. What's that mean? No ending point, no beginning point from you to Him. You all look the same. Isn't that something? And know where this oneness is supposed to be showing up in our words because when we're one with him, that our mouth doesn't belong to us. His words are to fill the mouth. And so that oneness was the place Jesus went to to get his words. Now think of that. He went to his oneness with his Father to find what to say. And he said, I only say what I hear my Father say. I only do what I see my Father do because of oneness. He didn't go to his own humanity to find his words. He didn't go to his own humanity to find his preference. He went to the Father he was one with and expected everything. For this life he would find supplied in the oneness, the supply of words, the supply of Doing the supply of fruit bearing. Praise the Lord. It's all right to say amen in here. I don't. I don't. Amen. That needs to register on our spirits. That needs to cause us to turn a different way many times than we've been turning. Turn to the oneness and find out what your future looks like. Jesus declared it. If he declared it, don't you think we need to declare it? I am one with the Father and you say, I can't fathom that. Declare it anyway, because this is too big for the human mind to capture. You have to enter this place of revelation by faith. Amen. So believest thou not that I am in the Father and the Father in Me? The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself. So he's letting us know. I don't go to me to find anything that I'm bringing to you. I go to the Father. And what your life needs is not out of his humanity, but out of his oneness and his union. I want you to know the people in this world don't need us. They need our union with the One we're in oneness with. They need Him. Right. And this is what in Christ is all about. Yeah. Oneness, Union with the Father. The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of myself, but the Father that dwelleth in me. Now, see, we need to build that. He dwells in me. He dwells in me. He dwells in me. Why? Because he's in me. I'm in Him. He dwells in me. He's not coming and going. And I don't change and shift positions and shift words and shift outlooks based on circumstances, because circumstances come and go, but he dwells. Don't let something that's coming and going change you or cause you to be distracted from the dwelling. The words that I speak unto you, I speak not of Myself, but the Father that dwelleth in Me, he doeth the works. So see the progression. Jesus declares his union. He declares his oneness with the Father. He goes to that place of union to find his words. And because he found his words from the Father, the Father was doing the works. So union, words, works. How do we get his works? Oh, Father, we want you to perform miracles. Well, how do we do it? You better go back to union. Because they come out of union and they come through someone who understands. I am one with the Father. All I have to do is say the words and he does the works. But I go to him to find my words. Because without his words, his works, can. I can't just say anything I want and think I'm going to arrive at the supernatural. I can't just say I want a miracle and then ignore the oneness and ignore what I say. I can say anything I want to anybody I want because, you know, this is my life. No, it's not. It's really not. You've been bought. You've been bought. Spirit, soul and body, you've been bought. So don't be a thief running off with something that doesn't belong to you. You're welcome. Amen. Aren't you grateful that you belong to him? You belong to Him. So the way you build this understanding, this revelation in you is you declare it. I am in the Father, the Father is in me. Whenever you're faced with unpaid bill, I am in the provider. The provider is in me. When you face symptoms, I am in the health. I am in the life. I'm in eternal life, and that life is in me. You declare it. Jesus declared it. He showed us that. He declared it. And he declared it when it made people mad and made them want to kill him for declaring that. The boldness. How dare him say that he's on the same level as God. But that was God's plan that we be on his level. We are spirit beings. We are in God's class of being. And that's not arrogance. That's God's plan. And Jesus purchased that. He purchased oneness, union. So when I come out, I just say this. I say, God, there's nothing in Nancy Dufresne for these people. But there is everything for these people in the God in Nancy Dufresne. And that relieves me. I don't have anything to perform. All I have to do is remember I'm coming out here in union, in union with Him. And I, when I operate from that place and. And I speak in line with union, then works can happen. Amen. Praise the Lord. Verse 11. Believe me that I am in the Father. So he asks them in verse 10. Believest thou not? No. So verse 11. Believe me. Believe me that I am in the Father. Regardless of whether you like that or not, devils, believe me that I am in the Father and the Father in me. Or else believe me for the very work's sake or proof there's fruit. And you might not like my wording, but you can't deny the miracles. That's what he's saying. Amen. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believes on me the works that I do. Shall he do also? Ah, you can't do them without where he started in verse 10. Oneness, union with the Father. And if we don't see ourselves in that same place of union, we won't even dare to touch the works because we think we've got to do them. And we'll stand back when we see what must be done. And we'll measure ourselves. Think impossible. But when we're measuring ourselves, don't leave out the calculation of the union. Well, praise the Lord. Y' all are just too quiet. Verse 12. Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on me, the works that I do shall he do also. And greater works than these shall he do, because I go unto my Father. See, the greater works come because of going to the Father. The greater works come because of going to the Father. You understand? What are the greater works? A multiplication of what he was doing. And that happens because he goes to the Father. And because he goes to the Father, you come into union with the Father. You understand that? So when he talks about the works that I do, he says, you'll do the same quality works that I do. But greater works will happen in quantity because I'm going to go to the Father. And it's not just one in union. It's all of you in union because he's going to the Father and because he returns to the Father. Now union is possible. It's all about union, oneness. And if we can't practice that with people we see in our local church, how can we practice that with a God we don't see? You understand? Every time we say something, do something against the Body, we are breaking down our own revelation of oneness with the Father. Because how can you act in opposition to oneness with the body and what Father? Fully in oneness with the Father, we practice our understanding and our place of union with one another. Amen. I'm not against my brother. I'm not against my local church. I'm not against my pastor. I'm not fault finding. I'm not seeing something wrong. I'm in union with these. I'm in union, in oneness. They're in union with the same folks. Father I'm in union with. What kind of a crazy person would you have to be for your hand to sit and grab a knife and start jabbing at your leg? But that's what words do. When you speak against the body, you're sitting and striking your own body. You're part of that body. Why would you ever Strike the body you're a part of. When you understand union, you quit that mess. And when people are doing that mess, they don't understand union. We're learning. Pastor Nancy, who you mad at? Nobody but the devil. But you can't carve granite with a butter knife. So sometimes you gotta come out with a little bit of a jackhammer and start striking at the thoughts and the ways of people to dislodge things. Amen. Praise the Lord. I am one with the Father. He is one with me. And I go to him to find my words so he can feel my actions there. It is so simple. You go, I don't understand it. Just say it. Because he said, do you not believe this? See, they were faltering. They could not believe it. Well, many. Many in the body don't believe it. Many who occupy that seat don't believe it. And so they're not benefiting from the seat, and they're still trying to get a breakthrough. Yes, I said it. There is no such thing as a breakthrough for the believer. We're through. We are one with the Father. We are one with the Father. When you say, I'm trying to get my breakthrough, you have not built in you that you are already one with the Father. There is no more through you can get. You've been raised and seated with Christ in heavenly places, far above all, All principalities, powers, might, dominion, you're above them. How much more through can you get? Tear down that stronghold of dumb thinking. That's the stronghold is the wrong thinking. The stronghold is not the breakthrough needed. I know you can take it. You took Stephen this morning. Our congregation took me for 25 years. Morgan, when she was pastoring, she said, you got. I want you to come back and pastor. And she said, or preach on a service. And she said, but don't bring Studio Nancy. We don't want Studio Nancy. We want Pastor Nancy. Why? Because Studio Nancy measures her words. That's right. Pastor Nancy just starts. Here we go. Right. Now. These people couldn't believe he was one with the Father. He said, believest thou not? No. Then he says, just believe me. He didn't say, figure it out. You can't figure that out. You cannot mentally. How does this happen? How does it happen when you say, jesus, I receive you as Lord, transfer you from hell to heaven. How does that. I don't know, but I believe it. You can believe what you cannot understand what you cannot figure out what you can't wrap words around. That's why he didn't say, understand it. He said, believe it. Your heart can believe what your mind cannot catch up with. You say, oh, well, I just don't. I just don't go that way. Then stay off commercial airplanes because you don't know how they fly. You think you do. You don't know that law of lift is beyond. It's beyond what man can fathom. I don't know how you get so many people and their luggage on an aircraft and you get it up above air that you cannot see. Impressive. But men have learned laws. Well, I want you to know the law of life. The law of life is oneness with the Father. We just know it works. We just know it works. And Jesus said, believe me, it works because I'm one with him. I say the words, God does the works. And you will do the same thing because of oneness. Now believe you're one. Believe you're one. Hallelujah. Instead of trying to get rid of things out of your life, why don't you build in you the revelation that I'm one and let that revelation push out and wash out all the things that make you struggle in life. If you will build this truth in you, pour it in you, you'll quit struggling with something that should have been ignored and washed out long ago. Yes. Amen. Preach it, Pastor Nancy. Yeah, think of it. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Well, where do we go from here? Hallelujah. We were talking about on. What's today? What day? Wednesday. Monday. We God directed us to minister on reverence and honor. Why? Because that is the atmosphere for the supernatural. That's the atmosphere that God can manifest in atmosphere matters. Can I tell you how much atmosphere matters? Young men, if you want to go to propose to your girlfriend, do not take her to McDonald's unless you want a no answer. And ladies, if he can't think of anything more than that, maybe you ought to instruct him. Wait till a better place, brother, before you invite me. Because atmosphere matters. If you want the right answer, it needs to matter to you. Right? Atmosphere matters. And so in this, God directed us to minister on reverence and honor because atmosphere matters. To the demonstration of God, to the manifestation of God. And then last night, of course, we ministered on the glory of God. That Jesus express image. He is the highest example, the glory of God in manifestation. Amen. And then we are. We are the glorious church. Right? Glory filled church. The local body is the place where the glory of God is to manifest and get its way as well as in the individual Right, But I want us to go over. Let's look at Ezekiel, chapter 47, because this is one of the main areas that we can go to when we see something about moving with God and the glory of God. Ezekiel, chapter 47, verse 1. And you'll bear with me as we read through these verses. Ezekiel 47:1. The Prophet Ezekiel is having this supernatural encounter. It says, afterward, talking about an angel, he brought me again unto the door of the house. And behold, waters issued out from under the threshold of the door eastward. For the forefront of the house stood toward the east. And the waters came down from under, from the right side of the house at the south side of the altar. Then brought he me out of the way of the gate northward, and led me about the way without unto the utter gate, by the way that looketh eastward. And behold, there ran out waters on the right side. And when the man that had the line in his hand went forth eastward, he measured a thousand cubits. And he brought me through the waters. The waters were to the ankles again. He measured a thousand and brought me through the waters. The waters were to the knees again. He measured a thousand and brought me through the waters were to the loins. And afterward he measured a thousand. And it was a river I could not pass over. For the waters were risen waters to swim in a river that could not be passed over. What do we see here? This is representative of the flow of God, the glory of God. It's the flow, the manifestation of God. And we see this, that it's had in measures. It's a progression that God does not just throw us in in waters to swim. If we don't even know how to function in ankle high, we have to learn to function at ankle high depth. Then to the knees, then to the loins, and then to swim. You think you want to swim, but you would be overwhelmed. You would be overwhelmed. It's the goodness of God that takes us as we can take it. Amen. And I would say this. The glory of God is the presence of God. You understand that? The glory of God is the presence of God. The degree of glory that we walk in is measured by how much of his presence we yield ourselves to. If we rarely think of him throughout the day, but if we acknowledge him throughout the day, mindful of him, then what happens? We are aware of the one who abides in within. And that's going to direct everything of how we conduct ourselves based on our mindfulness of him. Because where your attention goes is where your movement goes. People don't realize that tension is so, so very important. The devil, he doesn't want your finances. He doesn't want your family. He doesn't want your mind. He doesn't want your body. He wants your attention. Because when he gets your attention, he can get everything. That's the thing that when I was going through one of the last greater tests that I faced that God taught me, he said, the problem is not the devil. The problem is your attention. And he said, you have not learned how to discipline your attention when you feel the presence of evil spirits. Because when devils are felt, it's different than just your flesh poking on you. You understand that your flesh can poke at you and you can learn to have a little bit of skill over that. But when devils start poking, it's a whole nother arena you're dealing with. And you have to be skillful and be as untroubled by the presence of a devil as you were when they weren't even present. You understand that skill. You have to practice that. And that's what God said to me. He said, the reason you're troubled is because your attention, your attention is on what you can so feel. Just because you can feel. Well, it tells us in Psalm 23, verse 5, Thou preparest a table before me. Look at this. What's the next phrase? In the presence of mine enemies. There. So what? So what? So what? Well, I can feel fear. Yeah, it's theirs. Leave it with them. The devil is a tormented being. Don't you forget it. He is tormented because everywhere he goes, fear manifests. But it's his fear. And just because you can feel. And that was my problem. I could sense the presence and I could see. Sense the oppression of them. And I was letting it trouble me, thinking it was mine. Why? Because my attention was on the wrong thing. Thou preparest. Look at this. Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies. Yes, the enemy's present, but the table's present. And he talks about the table before he even brings up the enemy that's present. And our attention has to be on the table. And if we're occupied and our attention is on the devil and what's opposing us, we had to take our attention off the table to put it on the devil. And that's the point of defeat. What's the table? It is the table of God's word. It's the table of your redemption, everything that belongs to you in Christ. The table is loaded. You just partake of what's at the table because if the devil's present and God tells us he's present. Jesus defeated Satan. And you say, well, then how come I have a problem with him? Because he's not yet imprisoned, but one day he will be. And until he's imprisoned, he's going to be present. So what? So what? So what? Well, I feel that so what if we will build in us. I'm one with the Father. In the face of what I feel, in the face of what is speaking and opposing, I am still one with the Father. And anything of the enemy that's present can never separate me from my Father. And it's all about our attention. And we have to discipline our attention so that we can walk in the fullness of our union. Praise the Lord. So know this, that we want. Oh, we want to see manifestations. We all want to see manifestations. But it's a process. And we have to. If I could say this, we have to be willing to be skillful at ankle, ankle deep. Now let me tell you, let's say it this way. If the water's only up to my ankles, the rest of me, and there's a lot of me, I'm five foot ten, just in case you're wondering, I'm five foot ten up to my ankles. I don't know, let's say six inches of me, there's five foot four. That's out of the flow. If we only live at ankle deep, most of us is out of the flow, right? If it's knee deep, look how much is still out of the flow. And so many people splash around in the ankle and say, oh, we had a good service last night. Yeah, but that was just to bring you further. Not so you can enjoy the ankle deep level. Even the loins, there's still a lot out available to the opposition. But if I get in waters that sweat to swim, I have to swim. I have. I'm immersed. I'm immersed. This is where God intends for us. Immersion. What? Living immersed with our attention on him and the word. Not weird, not odd, not trying to appear to be anointed. Because I'm one with the Father, I don't have to try to appear to be anointed. Jesus never tried to appear to be that way. He was just one. So what do we see? God offers us more. And we can't just say, I'm okay with ankle deep because so much of me is still available to something other than the flow. So what's that mean? How do we go further? How about consecration? How about separation? Because Consecration involves separation. And consecration is never a negative. It's never a subtraction. It's a leaving behind something that's going to keep the too much of me exposed, out of the flow. I see. My, my, my. Look at this. Y' all have wonderful beaches here. California. We have cold water. Y' all have nicer water down here, right? And not too many kids when they know how to swim, just want to stay with the ankles. They want to keep going. They want to keep going. Well, if they're going to keep going, they have to get a little bit further. Further from what they're used to, but they're willing to do. They're willing to get away from what they're used to because they're more interested in going that direction. That's what consecration is. I see what's in front of me. I see what's offered to me, and I want it more than I want that. That's consecration. It's not me trying to afflict myself. It's me saying I want more. I want more of what I already feel. Why? Because when I'm immersed, less of me is available to outside the flow. All of me is in the flow. Praise the Lord. I said, praise the Lord. So that's going to involve consecration to go further. It's going to involve. What about this reverence? Yeah. What about this obedience? Yeah. What about this faith? Faith to go places you haven't gone before. Faith to go further. We want to go further. If we could say this at the end of every day, evaluate today, examine today. What did I say that I shouldn't have said? What did I watch, I shouldn't have looked at? What conversation did I get suckered into? Didn't intend to go that way, but I started breathing hard when they started talking to me, and I ended up saying something I didn't intend to say. They were upset, and that just got on me. See, evaluate today because that's how we're going to pay attention. So that we go further tomorrow into the awareness of him and his presence and. And the glory of God that we are carriers of. And we're stepping further away from the beach that holds all the stuff that we're familiar with. But we want to go further. Amen. And then we go down to verses 9. Ezekiel 47, verse 9. And it shall come to pass that everything that liveth which moveth whithersoever the rivers shall come, shall live. And there shall be a very great multitude of fish, because these waters shall come thither for they shall be healed and everything shall live whither the river cometh. What's this mean? If we'll just keep moving with God. Everything is touched. Everything is different. Everything is changed. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Go with me, if you would, to John, chapter three. Are you still with me tonight? We're just pulling on the handkerchief. We're just pulling. We're just pulling. Thank you. We will keep pulling. John, chapter three, verse 22. John 3, verse 22. After these things came Jesus and his disciples into the land of Judea. And there he tarried with them and baptized. So Jesus shows up to baptize with his disciples. Verse 23. And John also was baptizing. Ah, he's in the same area. They're both baptizing. Why? Because there was much water there. And they came and were baptized. Who came? The people, the multitudes. Verse 24. For John was not yet cast into prison. Verse 25. These are precious moments here. Verse 25. Then there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews about purifying. And they came unto John. Who came unto John? John's disciples. And the Jews, they came unto John and said unto him, rabbi, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou bearest witness, remember. How did Jesus. How did John bear witness? He saw Jesus from afar. His disciples are there. He said, behold the Lamb of God that takes away the sins of the world. He is now putting his recognition, you understand? John is the leading preacher of the day. He's the one the multitudes are following. He is the one that is the spectacle in the desert, in the wilderness. And every. He's the talk of the town. And then all of a sudden, he makes this statement publicly. There is the Lamb of God. I'm a voice. There's the Lamb. So he bears witness to him. They remind him, he that was with thee beyond Jordan, to whom thou bearest witness. The same as baptizing. He's over here baptizing. He's in this region with us. And all men come to him. Ah, precious people. Count the people, John. You're losing your crowds. You used to have the biggest crowds, but now there's someone else in the same region. And you put your approval on him. And look, he's taking your people. Oh, don't you love carnal people? Measuring by the natural. They're trying to not bring unity, stir strife. And so verse 27, John answered and said, a man can receive nothing except it be given him from heaven. In other words, if heaven gave them to him, I Cannot touch and say, I want it. Because if heaven says they're not mine, they're not mine. A man can receive nothing except it be given him from heaven. Verse 28. You yourselves bear me witness. In other words, you were there when I said it. You brought that up. You yourselves bear me witness. I said, I'm not the Christ, but that I'm sent before him. He that hath the bride is the bridegroom. He's saying, I'm not the bridegroom. He's got the people. He's the bridegroom. But he said, verse 29, he that hath the bride is the bridegroom. But the friend of the bridegroom which standeth and heareth him, he hears the bridegroom. Now, I rejoice greatly because of the bridegroom's voice. He's not dividing my ministry. I'm rejoicing because his voice is on the scene. Rejoicing because the people are recognizing his voice over my voice. They're following the voice that heaven has ordained for their lives. Look at this. This my joy, therefore, is fulfilled. You're trying to make it look like my ministry is diminishing, like my ministry is losing credibility, losing words based on numbers. And what you don't realize is now I fulfilled what I'm born for. And you're trying to paint it as failure, but it's my joy. Amen. Joy. Our joy is to be just this. Our obedience to God, period. Not who shows up. Who doesn't show up. There was a time my husband, bless his heart, he was. I loved my husband, but we had a little. Few words at times. And one time he walked into the side room about 10 minutes before church, and he said, nancy, I don't know why there's not more people out there. I said, Ed, it's 10 minutes before service. What do you want me to do? I don't need you. Before I go out to preach counting chairs. Seriously, what's that going to do that's going to make me mindful and try to make me feel like I'm not doing a good job? Well, this isn't the time. I need to address that because I've got to go out and feed them. There's a time that if you want to discuss. But this ain't it, brother. And I said to him, very nicely, and he knew. God told him, she's the pastor. Stay out of her office. We didn't struggle over that. He knew he was the head of the ministry, but I was head of the church. And that was his putting me in that place. We did not compete over that. I didn't try to prove I'm the head of the church. I yielded to him on. I would never do anything in the church that displayed. But he stayed out of my office. And when he said that, I said, don't ever come to me again with a chair count. Don't do it. And he stopped from that day forward, Pastor. He stopped from that day forward. Thank God I found out after he went to heaven that he didn't come to me anymore. He went to him and he was. Every Sunday they would. Because Steven would work in the TV department that had a glass. Bird's eye view. Bird's eye view. The whole congregation. Ed would go up and count heads. You know why I loved pastoring? Because I didn't count heads. I did not measure my call by who was present and who was absent. I'm doing. I'm obeying God. And that's what these people tried to get John the Baptist to do. Count heads to see if you're failing or succeeding. Pastors, quit it. Just obey God. Just obey God. And Pastor John Osteen said it the best. I'm just a bus driver. People get on and people get off. For the rest of your life, no matter how anointed you are, people are going to come and people are going to leave. Because they did it to Jesus on his last sermon. They all exited. Eat my flesh, drink my blood. And everyone that received a miracle got up and walked out. They all exited. Did Jesus fail? No. So it's not popular vote. You're not valid because people are present and your call is not authentic. Because people compliment you. Because the people who compliment you the most, you. If they're overly verbal about their love, it's because they're covering their conscience of what they said about you. Private. Every time Ellie's. Don't be overly verbal about how much you love me. Just show up and be faithful. Yes, show up and be faithful. It's fine to say you love me, but don't overly. Because then I'm gonna wonder. Because you know how when you come home and the kids were left at home and you went to dinner, you and your spouse, and you came home and they said, oh, Mommy. Yeah, you're such a good mommy. What'd you break? You're trying to. No, you're trying to hide something. You're too sweet. Cause I know you're not that sweet to me. You're feeling guilty. You're trying to get direct My attention away from what you did when I wasn't here. Some of you liked that, some of you didn't. But it's the truth. John the Baptist would not fall into that carnality of leadership around him. He had trained these disciples. And then there's rabbis. And they are. They're leaders. They're leaders. They're working alongside of him. They're trying to bring divide between John and Jesus. And John wouldn't fall for it. And what's his next phrase? He must increase, but I must decrease. How do we go further? How do we go from ankles to knees? He must increase, I must decrease. It's less of me and it's more of him. And that's a skill we constantly have to practice every day. And at the end of every day, evaluate, was it more of me or less of me today? Was it more of him, less of me? What was it today? Because every day evaluate how deep you went in your walk with God. How much did you remember him? How much did you acknowledge him today? How much did you stand your ground or how much did you lay down? I remember, you know, the kids were little. Ed was gone on the road. He was gone 75% of our marriage, and that was perfectly fine. You want to know why? Because our marriage looked like the plan of God for us. Don't ever think that your marriage has to look like everybody else's. Don't ever fall into that. Your marriage needs to. And your home needs to look like the plan of God for you. And God graced me to handle the home when he was gone. And I would not ever let the kids feel like they were being cheated because I was present. And not only that, I let them know it's not Daddy being here that blesses this home. It's us obeying God that blesses this home. Your daddy is out obeying God so your life can be sweet. Amen. And Ed was a good daddy. I mean, he called every day, multiple times a day. He wasn't mindless about us. But our life looked different than someone else's. And that was okay. I said that was okay. Don't try to. Don't let the world tell you what your home needs to look like and your marriage needs to look like. It needs to look like the plan of God. I said, it needs to look like the plan of God with no apology, because God will grace you for the plan. And I did not nag my husband and say, why don't you get home? I wanted him to be where God wanted Him to be. Amen. You have to renew your mind to that. And at the end of every day, I would. There were times, I mean, I had the kids without break, Especially when we first moved to California, there was not the help that's in place now. Morgan, thankfully, she's had a lot of help with the three kids. We did not have that home base established enough for me to have that help. So I took the boys to the office. I administrated the offices, I pastored, and on occasion, I traveled with Ed. But I remember one day, you know, if you're not careful, you can turn your walk with God into a law instead of a union. And I got up, you know, no matter. I would think I'm going to get up early earlier so that I can get up before the boys. But Stephen had some kind of sonic radar built into his being somewhere that if I got up at 6, he was up at 5:45. If I was up at 5:30, he was up at 5:15. I mean, I never could beat this boy out of bed, no matter what I set my alarm at. It was like something honed in on him. He was like a homie pigeon or something. I don't know. I just could not beat him up because I wanted to spend time without children. Without children. Because the moment Stephen's eyes opened, his feet moved. He was up and out. Let me tell you mamas, I got. This is one. This is one morning in the day of my life with Stephen. Stephen was not a hard kid. He was not a bad kid. He was a busy kid. Neither one of my kids had caused us a day's worth of heartache. And that wasn't because they were perfect. It was because they had a good mother. I paid attention, and I was there. I never said to my kids, it hurts me more to spank you than it hurts me. No, it never hurt me. I loved it. I enjoyed every moment. You pushed me to this point, and I'm going to enjoy this point that you pushed me to. No, I wasn't abusive, but, brother, we were in charge. And so one morning, just to tell you what a morning looked like with Stephen. Yeah, we're still in the flow. I think I heard him. I go, oh, my gosh, he's out of bed. He's out of bed. And I'm. Oh, my gosh. I ran down to the kitchen. He would have been about 6, and he had taken a dozen eggs and threw them across the linoleum floor, kitchen floor. It was a rented home there. And he had thrown it all across the kitchen floor. Then he had gotten a bottle of Hershey's syrup and he squeezed it all over that floor. And then he was running and sliding in it from one end of the kitchen to the other. And that had been going on probably about 30 minutes from the look of it, from the time I got downstairs. Can I tell you ladies how sticky all that is? Can I tell you? Can I tell you? It took me well over an hour. Well over an hour to clean that up. I'm cleaning it up and it dawns on me. Wait a minute. I don't hear him. Where is he? I go into the hallway. He has taken one of those big. The big size of Cheer laundry detergent, the powder, and he's dumped it into our dark green carpet. And he is making roads with it through, you know, with his tractors. He's building hills and mountains and making roads. So I've got the kitchen cleaned up now. I go to clean this up and that carpet is bleached out right there where he was at. That was my life. Yes. I want you to pity me. I tell you all the details to get pity. If you weren't here this morning, you would miss that. But. And he wasn't trying to be disobedient. He was entertaining himself. So my only rescue, throw him outside, let him break trees, let him break the ground. He would dig a hole that was deep enough and wide enough just for his body, and then he would fill it with water and climb in, stay there all day. You. You and Joseph just stay in the pit all day long because at least you're contained and I know where you're at. And I'm just telling you, when I would get up, that was my life. Now try to fast and pray or read your Bible and do all that in the midst of all that. It just wasn't possible. I mean, it just wasn't possible for quiet meditation time. Quiet meditation. And I remember, I'm just. I finally. I've got the kids, I'm running errands and it's like 9 o' clock and I haven't even knowledge that Jesus is Lord. That's great. I can't even find him anywhere in the world. I got no unction anywhere. I got no, you know, just nothing. I've been left here abandoned. And we're in the. I finally get them in the car. It's about 9 o' clock in the morning and I'm repenting again. God, I'm so sorry. I try to find time with you. But I can't find it. I just, it's, you know these people that say 4 o' clock is the holy hour. That's a lie. There's nothing holy about. No, because if I'd have been up at 4, so would have he and made it unholy, you know, breaking something. So I'm in the car of this particular day. I'll never forget it. I'm in the van, the boys are in the back. I'm driving Target or something like that, going to go run errands. And I said, God, I'm so tired of repenting for this. I know you're tired of listening to me repent for this. I didn't get any time with you today. This morning I didn't pray 30 minutes in tongues or read my Bible or make my confessions. I'm just trying to keep my hair in my head, you know. I'm just trying not to beat these children within an inch of their life. You know what I'm talking about, right? And I said, God, all I know to do is bring you with me. So I tell you what I'm going to do. All throughout the day, I'm just going to fill every thought with you. Even though I can't be on my knees or reading a book or studying my Bible, I'm just going to keep my attention on you. And all throughout the day. And he accepted that. And it was not a less than of me. And all throughout the day I ran errands and I go. I was so aware of him. I decided I'm just going to quit trying to fall into the formula. I'm not against goals and things you have set. But don't turn a goal into a law because you'll miss him. You'll miss him and you'll start checking things off your to do list because you read the certain number of chapters. But you missed him that day. And so anyway, so we ran errands. I didn't get home probably till like 4 o' clock that afternoon. And the moment I pulled up in the driveway, God spoke to me and he said that pleased me. Why I just turned my attention in every activity of the day. I want you to know, no matter what place you're at in your life, acknowledging him is all he is looking for. Because he wants an open door to work through you, for you and in you all day long. And it's not, and it's not qualifying by a certain amount of study and not by a certain amount of separated prayer. Yet there are those times But I'm saying just the sweet enjoyment of God all throughout the day. Day. Staying wet. Staying wet in the presence of God. Amen. So at the end of the day, it's not. You can measure and say, I got all my chapters done. But did he govern everything? Was he acknowledged? Was he thought of God said to me, because I had taken some. There was a season that I was spending extensive amounts of time praying in tongues. I would go aside, and the boys had gotten older, and I got to. At one point, the moment I woke up, I went aside and prayed three hours in the Spirit, just. And I did that months and months and months. And after that, the Spirit of God spoke to me. And he said, I'm not trying to lead you into a life of speaking in the Spirit. I'm trying to lead you into life in the Spirit. And he said, you have relegated it to tongues. I'm not diminishing tongues. I'm just saying you can speak in tongues all day and him not be acknowledged. Your attention on something else. Him not governing. And listen, there's a depth of his presence. The presence of God is the glory of God. So I would say at the end of every day, examine, evaluate. How much of today was his? How much did I turn to him? How much did I acknowledge him? How much? And you know what? Then don't beat yourself up. Change from glory to glory. Don't take the accuser or the brethren with you to your evaluation of your own spiritual life, because that's between you and God. Tell the devil to stay out of it. He's got no business chiming in with his accusation of how poorly you did today. Because no matter how poorly you do at acknowledging God, you'll never be the failure Satan is. Amen. Praise the Lord. Anyway, he must increase. How does he increase? Just acknowledging him more thinking, turning your thoughts to the word, not trying to feel him. That's a mistake many make. They think that they're growing in God. If they feel more of him. No, no, no, no, no. Because if you'll turn toward him, you'll instantly sense the bubbling. You'll instantly. Because he is that living. That living fountain on the inside side of you, bubbling up, springing up. But it's. If you can get to in a moment, you just turn and you're there. Because I love something Ms. Leanne was saying in prayer. She said, because we're spirit beings, we have a legal right to the spirit realm. We don't have to try to be in the Spirit. That's the place we belong. God said to me years ago, he said, let's. Living in my presence doesn't come by earning. It comes by turning. You turn your attention toward me. You acknowledge me. And he said, no one has ever turned toward me and me. Not met them in the turn. So what happened to the prodigal son? He turned and the Father met him. And I want you to know the moment you turn your attention away from the activity today to hear right there, you're in. You don't have to try to get in his prayer. You're there. You're there. Why? You're one with him. You are in union with Him. And when you need a miracle, you don't have to labor for hours in prayer to take that place of union. You are in union. And you can, at a moment's notice, turn and draw on the one you're in union with and let him do the work through you. Hallelujah. How much the devil has cheated us out of by thinking we haven't prayed, prayed long enough or read our Bible. And I'm not diminishing that, but I'm saying this. We get into these human reasonings and they rob us of a place of fellowship and a place of glory, that God intended that we have him for our enjoyment. Amen. Praise the Lord. Go with me, if you would. Let's look at the. Look at Colossians, chapter two. Colossians, Chapter two. Are you getting help? The living Bible. Colossians, chapter two, verse six. I'm going to read out of the living Bible translation. If you don't have that translation, just listen to it. Colossians 2, verse 6. And now, just as you trusted Christ to save, you, trust him too, for each day's problems. He's for every day. He's not just for church time. He's for every day and every problem that you face. Face it with him. Face it. Acknowledging him, thinking of him, speaking of Him. And then it says, live in vital union with Him. What's that mean? See, he is vital to me today. I cannot leave him out. It's vital to what I'm gonna encounter today, what I'm to carry out today. It's vital that I involve him through my acknowledgement of Him. Live in vital union with Him. Let your roots grow down into him and draw up nourishment from Him. Him. So he's in you to spend every day and you have to build and establish in you. I'm one with Him. I don't have to earn something from Him. I am one with him, all I have to do is turn and acknowledge Him. And when I do, that is his permission to move in my behalf. Because he will not move uninvited. Amen. Hallelujah. And then it goes on. See that you go on growing in the Lord. What's this mean? We haven't arrived. So be patient with yourself as you're going through the process. Because the devil always cues you where you're not and what you're not. Well, we just know this, that he'll never be. He'll never be anything of what God is bringing us into. So it says, see that you go on growing in the Lord. Just say whenever you repent for missing it, say, father, thank you. I'm going to keep growing. I'm going to keep. What's that mean? I'm going to go further in this river. I'm going to go further in the waters. I'm not going to back out and sit on the beach and sit and feel bad for myself. Then I've got to regain that ground again. Amen. Just keep growing. See that you go on growing in the Lord and become strong and vigorous in the truth you were taught. Let your lives overflow with joy and thanksgiving for all he has done. Look at verse nine. For in Christ there is all of God in a human body. In his human body there was all of God in him. I love something Brother Copeland says. He says, now there is a man in the Godhead. For in Christ there is all of God in the human body. Verse 10. So you have everything when you have Christ. And you are filled with God. Look at this. Through your union with Christ, not through your study, not through your prayers, through your union. He brought you into a place that no amount of your works could ever arrive you at. So that you can speak from that place of union. Think from that place of union. You have to learn that you're in union. No doubt the Word reveals that union. Absolutely. And when we pray and we're in fellowship, we come into a fellowship that that union has made ours. Amen. So you have everything when you have Christ. Now this is one of the things I want to get to God said to me when God spoke to us. My husband went home to be with the Lord in October of 2013. And it wasn't even in, I think, until 2014 that I even. We had so much to address that I didn't even really think about another airplane for the ministry probably until about 2014. But when I started bringing that up before God, because I'm not going to let an event back me off of a place. I'm not afraid to have an airplane. Not afraid. And I'm not going to let an event make me step back from blessing. And so I said to God, I said, God, is it your best for us to have another airplane? And I said, sure, make it easy for me. And I had the sense, someone's going to give you one. Well, Brother Copeland, he started coming to our church in 2014 and has come every year except for the last two years because he had to cancel. He was cutting back on his travel schedule. But from 2014 to 2024, he. He was there. So that's 11 years total that he came in a row to our church. And he would call me in 2014, and he would say, nancy, he said, are you wanting an airplane? I said, yes, Brother Copeland. I believe him for an airplane. He said, send me. Well, I had actually called him, and I said, brother Copeland, I don't know the airplane world. I don't even know what to put my faith on. But I said, could you help direct on what would be probably something good for us to put. Put our faith on? He said, send me your schedule. I want to see how often you travel. And so I was traveling. I was home maybe five days a month at that time. And so I sent that to him, and he called me back with a recommendation. He said, nancy, this kind of airplane would serve you well. So from then on, the man loves airplanes. So we had conversations about airplanes, and he would call me and say, nancy, do you have your airplane yet? Well, I couldn't tell him or I wouldn't tell him. I have a sense someone's going to give me one because I don't want him to think I'm fishing. Don't ever use fishing words. It'll hurt your faith. And so I wouldn't say to him, I feel like someone's going to give us one. That seems to be the thing. And so he would contact me and say, nancy, I found you an airplane. Thank you, Brother Copeland. We'd take the information and not pursue it. And then he'd say he'd find. And first thing he'd say when he came off a plane, nancy, got your airplane. And Brother Copeland has a way of caring for you in such a way it's out of care, but, you know, anyway, he came off the airplane, said, nancy, do you have an airplane yet? And I said. I said, no, Brother Copeland. He said, well, I see I've got to get involved scolding you. Know, thank you, Brother Copeland. But it was all about his interest in me and, you know, about the. It was never to make me feel bad, but I just couldn't tell what I sensed. So when Brother Jerry Savelle went home to be with the Lord, Brother Copeland called me and he said, nancy, you know they have two aircraft. I said, yes, sir. He said, I think one of them's yours. And I said, brother Copeland, we'll contact them and see about purchasing it. I'm just, you know, I'm just going to obey the man of God, go as far as I can. Well, before that happened, Sister Carolyn called and gifted the airplane that we were believing for the Falcon 50 to us. She said, nancy, this is the biggest seed we've ever sown. But anyway, when Brother Copeland said to me, I think one of those airplanes are yours. And then he called me back and he said, I wouldn't be surprised if someone gives you one within days. And I said, now, Brother Copeland, now that you've said that, that you opened that up. I said, all these years, it was not me neglecting an airplane. I just had the sense that someone was going to give me one. And I didn't want to say that to you. And so anyway, in the process, before that plane was gifted to us, I know this. The Bible says that God blesses us through the hands of men, right? Other hands are involved. That's why you can't lose faith or let down on faith, because the calendar is not meeting what you think it ought to do. Because it's not just God's hands and involved, it's other men's hands involved. And I began praying and I said, God, I pray for the hands of men, the men that you would use to bring that into our life. I pray for their hands because I know the devil's going to try to get involved and hinder men, try to shorten their hands, so to speak. I didn't know who God was going to use, and I wasn't trying. It's not right to call out God, get somebody and name them to give me something. That's witchcraft stuff. That's not faith. That's you deciding. And let me just say this, if you can think of it, God's not using it. Why? Because his thoughts are higher than our thoughts. And so anyway, so I was praying this way, father, I believe that you're giving us an airplane. And I pray for the person that is going to be the hands of that. And then God stopped me one day. He said, leave out the middleman he said, it's not yours because a man gives it. It's yours when I give it. Did you get that? Man can receive nothing, John said, except heaven gives it. Know this, we just read it. Colossians 2, verse 10. So you have everything when you have Christ, Heaven gave you Christ, you have everything. It doesn't matter what man does or doesn't do. God is already given you everything. Leave out men. Leave out the middleman. Once God gives it, I'm authorized to say I have it. It's mine at his giving, not at the giving of men. It's not mine when it manifests. It's mine the moment he gives it. You understand? When he gives it, we're authorized to call it mine. So just know this. You're not healed because it shows up in your body. You're healed because God gave you Jesus. Amen. That business isn't yours the day you walk into the building where that business is. That business is yours the day God says to you, start a business. Because with his words comes the giving. Yes. Yes. Amen. So what does faith do? It focuses on what's given, not on what is, not on what you're just believing for. He's already given me healing. Therefore, when you know that it's already given, the only thing left on our part is, thank you that I have it. Thank you that I have it. It's mine because you gave it. It's not mine because it appeared in my body. It's not mine because it showed up in my bank account. It's mine because you gave it the moment you gave it. It's mine the moment you gave it. It's mine. And you have everything when you have Christ. The life of the believer is a life of receiving what's already been given. It's not about getting God to give. Amen. Amen. When I need something, I just take it. I say thank you because if I need it, he's already supplied it. Why is it. Hebrews, chapter four, verse three, the Amplified Classic. The last phrase. His works had been completed and prepared and waiting for all who would believe from the foundation of the world. His works for my life, his works for my plan. His works for your life. His works for your plan has already been completed and prepared, and it's waiting for your faith to show up and say, God's already made it complete. He's already provided. I take it, it's mine right now. It is yours when he gives it. It is not yours when it appears. It is yours when he gives It. And when he gave you Christ, he gave you everything you need. So when a need shows up, you say, thank you, Father, I have everything for that need. I have it because you've already given Christ. He is the provision. He is the treasure box that contains everything my life calls for. Jesus is the treasure chest of heaven. Amen. And he put Christ in you. Everything God planned for your life, he put in Christ. And then he put Christ in you and said, now spend him. You don't have to wait for God to send it. Spend him. He's in you. You are in union with the Father. What more could you need in this life? You know what? We need more, right? Thinking. It's not things that make our life struggle. It's wrong thinking. Thinking I don't have it. So I'm trying to get it. I'm trying to talk God into it. If I pray long enough, I get it. If I quote long enough, I'll have it. If I can read long enough and pray long enough and do. No, no, it's all yours in Christ. But you better find out through reading and praying what that looks like. Yeah, that's good. You understand that everything is mine. Struggle's over. Struggle's over. Struggle is over. Struggle is over. And if I'm struggling, I'm thinking wrong. The only way struggle can enter the life of the believer is wrong thinking. Tip. Casting down imaginations and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God and who you are in Him. Him. I'm one with the Father. I'm one with Him. I'm one with Him. I do not have anything insufficient in my life. To say I don't have it is to accuse him that I'm one with. Well, praise the Lord. I don't know how some of y' all just sit there. I'm just. This has to dawn on you. This has to dawn on you. How's it going to dawn on you? You sit just as Jesus said it. I am in the Father. The Father is in me. I have his words. And because I have his words, he does the works. Amen. I am in the Father in the face of need, in the face of need, in the face of opposition. I am in the Father. The Father is in me. Nothing is withheld from me. I have his words in my mouth. And therefore he works in my life. It goes back to John 14:10. That's your honey hole right there. Amen. I am one with the Father. That's how Jesus moved in this earth. He moved with that Awareness. I'm just moving out of oneness. I'm not moving on my own. I'm not trying to do this on my own. I'm not trying to fix this on my own. I go to the one I'm one with and I say what he says so he can do what he does. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Come on, David. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. You'll have to build it in you. The pastor can't build it in you. And my revelation's not yours. You make it yours with the help of the Holy Ghost. How do you get the Holy Ghost to turn these things into revelation? You give yourself to it. You give your thoughts to it. You give your words to it. You have to show him I'm interested. This matters to me. Amen. Honor. Honor the words. Honor your place in him. Honor that you are one with the Father. You're one with health. You're one with provision. You're one with joy. You're one with everything that this life calls for. He has given you all things that pertain unto life. He has. He has given. If you. I have a sermon where I just went through verses that say, he has given. He has given. He has given. If he has given, I'm authorized to just say, oh. All I have to do is say thank you. Thank you. You already gave it. I don't have to talk you into anything. I don't have to coerce you into anything. I don't have to talk it up. Pray it up. Amen. Many of you are wasting your prayer life over things that are given. Yes. That is so good. You spent so much time praying, trying to get something he's already given. And he goes, I don't know what else to do for you. What's the problem? Wrong thinking. Wrong thinking. And the devil wants to make your relationship and your fellowship hard with God when it's just as easy as turning and acknowledging. And I'll never forget that day when I pulled back in the driveway, and all I did that day was bring him into every thought. All I did was keep. Turn towards. Poured him in my heart. And God said that pleased me. In all honesty, I hadn't even opened my Bible yet at that time of the day. I hadn't gone aside and prayed, but I brought him into it. Amen. He's not separate. We're not separating out our pr. The. Our time with God from our day. He is our day. He is our day. If you'll just. Just wake up and turn. Just wake up and turn. Amen. Hallelujah. Date: March 13, 2026
Location: High Springs, Florida | JTH Crusades 2026 | Wednesday AM
Speaker: Pastor Nancy Dufresne
This episode explores the nature of faith for impossibilities and centers on the believer’s union and oneness with God. Pastor Nancy Dufresne teaches that God’s plan for each life is so big, it is impossible without Him—and it is through vital union with God that impossibilities become possible. The focus is on moving past struggle by yielding, embracing spiritual oneness, maintaining attention on God, and living immersed in His glory day by day.
Jesus’ declaration in John 14:10 sets the foundation: “I am in the Father, and the Father is in me.”
True Christian faith is not just about being saved “from something,” but living “in union” with God.
Impact on Daily Life: As believers, we should declare our oneness aloud, as Jesus did, so that our words align with God’s.
Jesus did not act out of His humanity but out of His union.
Progression: Union → God’s Words in our mouth → God’s Works performed through us.
Practical Confession Example:
Pastor Nancy challenges the idea of “breakthrough;” for those who are in Christ, “breakthrough” is already accomplished.
The only barrier left is “wrong thinking”—believers need to renew their minds, not seek new breakthroughs.
Reverence and honor cultivate an atmosphere where God can manifest.
“Atmosphere matters to the demonstration of God, to the manifestation of God.” (46:25)
Ezekiel 47 and the Flow of Glory:
To go deeper in God, continual consecration (leaving behind what holds us back) and growing reverence, obedience, and faith are required.
Daily self-assessment is encouraged: “At the end of every day, evaluate—was it more of me, or less of me? More of Him, less of me?” (1:10:40)
The devil primarily seeks to gain your attention; when he has it, he has everything.
Psalm 23:5—even in the presence of enemies, a table (God’s provision) is prepared for you. The key is to keep your attention on God's table, not the enemy.
God desires to be acknowledged throughout the day, not just in formal “quiet time.”
Quote:
We are not striving to get God to give something—He’s already given it in Christ.
Story: Testimony about believing God for an airplane; emphasizes that our faith is rooted in God’s giving, not waiting on people.
The believer’s life is about receiving what’s already been given, not trying to convince God to give.
