Hi, I'm Nancy Dufresne. Welcome to our podcast channel. We know you'll be blessed by today's message. Mom called me yesterday. She said, hey, I think you need to do the morning service. I'm like, you sure about that? You sure about that? Not that I don't. I can't preach. I'm just like, you know, I may bury myself, you know, I don't want to get in trouble. You know, I may. That's all right. I buried myself enough. I can wiggle out. I'll be alright. But I've got something for us this morning. Praise God. Praise God. It's funny because God talks to me when I'm working and I was out here with a leaf blower on my back a couple days ago, and God starts talking to me, maybe because I can't hear nothing else. So he starts talking to me when I got a leaf blower. But it's just so funny how he talks with me. But I want to share with you today about some stuff that he said to me. Now we know that Moses was given a task that he was to go to Pharaoh and tell Pharaoh and say, hey, you need to let all these people go. And I'm not going to buy them, I'm not going to trade anything. I'm going to make a deal that is not a good deal. And the deal is, you need to just let them go. That's a bad deal for Pharaoh. But Moses is doing what God told him to do. And so Pharaoh, he says, no, it's a bad deal. It's a bad deal. I mean, he conquered these people. I mean, they serve him. He's got free labor for life. Why would I let that go? And the Lord said to me this week with a leaf blower on my back, he says, faith turns a no into a yes. And Pharaoh says, no, bad deal. So he leaves and he's going to come back again and offer him the same deal, which is a bad deal, and say, hey, you need to let these people go. And he says, I'm not doing it. And so we know the long term story of this is that this goes on for quite a while. And he comes back and forth, and they go back and forth and it gets worse for Pharaoh, it gets worse and worse. And he said, I need to make a deal with you, Pharaoh, and it's a bad deal for you, but you need to let these people go. Come on. And finally he gets to the point where Moses is so persistent and things get so bad that he finally Lets these people go. And we know when he lets them go. Moses takes him to the edge and he backs him into a corner. That's where God told him to go. So they go that way, and he comes up to another no where there's nowhere else to go. And Pharaoh changes his mind because it's a bad deal. And I want these people back. And he gets to a place where Moses comes to a place and he says, God, I don't know what else to do. And he says, you put out your staff and it's going to split that sea, and you can cross it. So faith turns a no into A yes. Matthew 15:22, if you have your Bibles, I want you to go there. There's something about persistence that gets people of faith to where they need to be. Just because something is telling you no doesn't mean that's the final answer. What if you have a stupid kid? If they only ask once, My kids won't stop bothering me. One thing I tell them is I say they'll come to me and ask for something. I said, okay, come back tomorrow, ask me again. We'll see how important it is. And then they come back again. And I'll say, you come back a third day. Sometimes they fall off. It's not that important, right? It's not that important. So you know what? I ain't gonna do anything for you. But if they're persistent, at some point, I give. And behold, a woman of Canaan came from that region and cried out to him, saying, have mercy on me, O Lord, son of David, my daughter's severely demon possessed. But what did he do? He answered her. What? Not a word. He's telling her, no. He says, no. And the disciples came and urged him, saying, send her away, for she cries out for us. And he said, it is not sent to me that you know whatever he's saying here. Then she came and worshiped him, saying, lord, help me. So we know that Jesus is giving her a no. This isn't for you. But persistence has turned it into a yes. And she came and worshiped him, saying, lord, help me. And he answered, it is not good to take the children's bed and throw it to the little dogs. And she said, yes, Lord. Yet even the little dogs eat from the crumbs of the master's table. And Jesus answered and said, o woman, what did he say? Great is your faith. Let it be unto you as you desire. And we know that her daughter was healed because she refused to take no as an answer. I know that this building, when, when we were paying off this building over a 20 year period, we were making such small progression. If we continued on that track, it would have been 35, 40 years. And it looked like everything we did wasn't going to really help. We got to the point back about 10, 15 years ago, we were scrapping cars, you know, cars for clunkers or whatever, cash for clunkers. I mean, we was doing that to pay off the house of the Lord. And it looked like, I've scrapped cars for Jesus. Come on, David. I mean, we haul them up to the junkyard, push them off the trailer, give me the money for God. We'll put it in the house. We're paying off this building. I've done it. And it doesn't feel like it's ever going to get paid off when they hand you a $350 check. And it becomes very frustrating when the interest, that it just keeps going to interest and it become very frustrating. But faith turns a no into a yes. And after dad died, mom said, God said, you need to pay this building off. Okay, well, you're going to do that. Okay. So my dad was on the verge, you know, he had a sign with Satan and we would square off Satan in little boxes as people gave. But Satan never went away. He was always there with like a couple little corners and it never got full. We just threw the sign out after a while, like, all right, you know what, let's just get rid of the sign. But God told us this building will be paid off. So we were believing we came up to nothing. But God said, pay off the building. Okay, we could do that, but we need your help because it ain't happening naturally. We're paying interest. And we got to the point where just a couple years ago I talked to the people here and I said, it feels like it's about to break loose. You ever seen the top of a pill bottle and it's got that thing on there and you can't break it with your finger. You need something sharp to poke that thing. That's what it felt like in the spirit, like we were just about, we were pressing that thing and we just had to break that membrane. And once we did, it was going to let loose. And sure enough, we had this. They called us and said, we're basically our loan. I forget what was happening with it, but either it was going to cost us a lot of money to extend the loan. And we basically, I said, we looked at the accounts and we had all the money in the Accounts to pay off this building. And that's such a tremendous thing because many churches don't even own a building. They don't. They rent. And what a tremendous thing that, that we can do that. But within a matter of all those years from seeing all that stuff, we never quit. And we got to the point where one day that thing was completely wiped away because we refused to let that get inside of us. Amen. Amen. And God has just been so good in that process. But faith turns a no into a yes. How many times has your body said, we're not getting better? The body says, usually when sickness enters your body, it's a progression downward out. But what faith does, it takes that. And whatever is saying no turns it into a yes. You can revert sickness back out. Amen. Amen. So we know this woman. She was not going to take no for an answer. And her persistence in her vision and her faith got her to where she needed to go. We know the walls of Jericho were big walls. And what do walls indicate? That you are not going to come into this place. You're not coming in. But God told them you're going to have that place. So the walls and the gates, that's closed says no. But he says, I want you to do some goofy stuff for a couple days. And after the goofy stuff, you're going to blow your horns. And when you do that, it's coming down because we're turning, you're not welcome here into. You own the place. So if God says, you need to do some goofy stuff, you do some goofy stuff. Moses had a goofy deal. He said, hey, I don't got nothing to offer you. You just need to give me everything you got. That's the kind of God he is. He's gonna make it. And sometimes he takes us to a place where we make embarrassing offers in the natural. And these embarrassing offers is to get us into faith because God's going to manifest it. And you may say, I'm not going to make that offer. You better do it. You better do it. When we were buying our home, me and my wife, I told the guy, I mean, I had like $3,000 in my bank account. I don't have that much money. And I'm wanting to buy a million dollar home. I know that's not a lot right now. I mean, these homes are crazy expensive. But that many years ago, I mean, it was a million dollars. A million dollars. And it's a beautiful home. And I didn't have. I mean, I make like, you know, Not a lot of money to qualify for something like that, you know, I mean, that's just not in the budget. And. I went to the guy they were asking 950 for. I said, look, I'll give you a million like I had a million. I said, hey, I give you, you know, a million dollars if you let me stay in it for a year. And after a year, I'll get, you know, we'll buy it. That's a. That's not really a good deal. Like, you know. And they agreed to do that. And I said, okay, I don't have no money, but I was believing God that it never looked like I was going to even qualify for that, but I believed that God was going to do that. And out of that, we got that home, barely. But that's all right. I got. Doesn't matter if it's barely or not. And I was 28 years old with a million dollar home. I'm not bragging, I'm not trying to brag, but what I'm saying is, is we turned it a no into a yes because I was willing to offer him a goofy deal and say, let me stay in it for a year. I'll pay the payment. You know, I'll do all that stuff. They agreed to do it. And then at the end of it, they wanted the house back because the market shot up. They wanted a house back. They wanted it back bad. And we had to fight them. I didn't want to fight them, but, you know, hey, it is what it is. But we. I told God, if I know where I need to go to help Mom, I've got to learn some of this. And I don't learn by living in a double wide. Would I live in a double wide? Absolutely. They're really nice now. I like double wide. I don't mind living in a double wide with a big workshop on the side. That's okay for me. I could do that. I like them workshops, man. I could probably live in a workshop. That's the kind of person I am. I mean, I'm not that bougie. There's a lot more bougie people than me. They go, well, you got Louis Vuitton stuff. I said, hey, I know good quality when I see it. I got a belt that's 20 years old. I've had. That's a Louis. And I still got it 20 years, pretty good run. And I still got another 10 or 30 on it. So anyways, I'm just going off on something else. Amen. So we know that God said, you're going to go to the walls and they're going to tell you no. But I said, you can have it. So therefore, you're going to just walk around this place. Some of y' all need to go walk around places that you want. And he said, you're going to do this for so many days, and on the last day, you're going to toot your horns. Toot, toot, toot. And these walls, what are they going to do? They're going to fall down. Now, naturally, this looks like a weird deal, but if he tells you to do it, what do you do? You do it. And we know that these walls come crashing down. And they inherited all of that stuff that they did with Tonam. Second kings 20 and 1. I'm not going to preach crazy long because y' all are like, just hurry up, Brother Stephen. I will. I'll preach if y' all listen hard. I'll preach short if y' all listen hard. Faith turns a no into a yes in these days. Hezekiah was sick and near death. And Isaiah, the prophet, the Son, went to him and said, set your house in order for what you're going to die. Where is this word coming from? This is coming from God, and you're not going to live. And he turned his face toward the wall and prayed to the Lord, saying, remember now, O Lord, that I pray. I have walked. And he goes on, and he's. He's repenting, he's doing stuff. And he says that he wept bitterly. And it happened before Isaiah. When he had gone out of the middle of the courtyard, the word of the Lord came to him and it said, remember and tell Hezekiah, the leader of my people, I have heard your prayers and I have seen your tears. Surely I will heal you. And on the third day, you shall go to the house. And he says that he's going to. And then he says, tell him I'm adding 15 years to his life. Hezekiah turned a no into a yes because he refused for that to be the outcome. You can change people's mind if you persist. You can have everything that God told you you can have. It doesn't matter what price you have, what price you don't have. It doesn't matter. If you go knock on doors, they'll be open to you. There's been so many times where, you know, the natural side wants to make a solid deal. I get that. But sometimes, faith, you have to go and act like you have something that you don't have. We Were recently in some business stuff. And one thing that mom did is she went as far as she could go. And I knew her limit, and she went as far as she could go. And out of that, we had come to the end of it. And I knew this is where we're at. This is all we got. And things didn't pan out the way we thought. But I knew, and I was thinking about that, and that's where this came from, is I said, God turns a no into a yes because it doesn't matter what we do or don't have. But what does matter is what God told us. And he said, if something's ours, then it belongs to us. So it doesn't matter what it looks like. You can go look at a home with no money, but act like you got all the money in the world. We have gone and looked at hangers. I mean, we have done everything. Anytime you. That. Here's what, what we believe. If. If you're believing for something, make room for it. So we. We are been believing for a plane forever. I mean, it just feels like just forever. I mean, right after dad died, I mean, we've been believing for a plane. I mean, we've been believing for it. Recently, I went and looked at some hangers. Hangers are not very cheap here. Hangers, just as just renting it could be 65,000 a year to $80,000 a year for a parking space. That's no problem. Hey, whatever, you know, Right? So we went and look at these hangers, okay? And they go, what kind of plane you got? Oh, we, you know, we're still in the market. I mean, I'm looking like I'm acting like a baller. I'm like, hey, we still looking. We don't even. No problem. I want that big space in the corner. You know, we don't got no money for that. But you know what? I'd go, man, we haven't seen nothing we like, you know. And the guy goes, hey, I got a plane. It's for sale now. Beautiful falcon. Beautiful falcon. And I said, oh, send me the information. Send it to us. That's perfect. Send it. Sixteen and a half million dollars. That's the problem. I learned that from Jesse. That's no problem. That's no problem. So, I mean, you talk about a beautiful aircraft, man. He sent me. I mean, mom called me and we sit on the phone for 30 minutes while she browses the picture. She's like, my God, that's a beautiful plant. Yeah, it's really nice. It's only 16 and a half million die. She goes, well, call and see if they'll ask half a million. We'll see if they'll take half a million. I said, I don't know if I can do that. You know, they gotta take. See if they'll take half a minute for it. Okay, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, we'll ask her. But what I'm saying is we're stirring up our faith. That. That's not impossible. That's not impossible. That's not impossible. So we have to act like nothing's impossible to us, nothing's out of our reach. Because faith turns a no into a yes. That's what it does. Faith changes people's minds. Faith changes people's hearts. Faith runs out, sickness and disease. Faith brings back family that you want coming back. Faith runs people off that you need ran off. You ever heard where people go, ma'? Am? God's removing people out of your life. That's a negative person. And I thought. I thought, what if I'm a negative person and I've got. And I'm being removed from people's lives? You ever think like that? Like maybe I'm the person. That's all right. That's all right. We don't need to hang out together. No problems. No problems. I don't need to be in your life. You don't need to be in mine. No. You go your way, I'll go mine. I'm a hindrance to you. Are y' all being helped this morning? You know, I appreciate. I'm not gonna tell the whole story, I don't know, correctly, but Brother Copeland, he tells this story about how he went to get his land where the church is at. And he basically says. He goes to the guy and says, look, I ain't got no money and I don't get in debt. What can you do for me? And the guy sit there and he said, the clock's ticking and all this stuff. And the guy goes, come back, you know, all these days later, I'm not gonna tell the whole story. And the short of it is, he, God told him, that's your place. And he comes with basically nothing and ends up with everything because that's what God told him to do. And so that's one thing that faith does. Sometimes it goes to places that you can't comprehend in your mind. And you go, that's not a good deal. Cause, I mean, as Christians, I'm not cheap. I know Doc's cheap, but I'm not that cheap. I try to make good deals. His favorite store is Harbor Freight. You know, they do everything for less. That's Doc's motto. He said, if you're gonna do something, do it for less, boy. He got chewed out by my mom. He was mouthing one morning. I mean, it was first thing in the morning, and he was running his chops. And he said, man, God's people get everything for less. And mom just chewed him smooth out. She's in her pajamas. And I said, doc, shut up. You were just burying yourself. And the whole day she was like, I can't believe you said that. Can't believe you said that. Never forget that, right? $400. There were slippers. Oh, the slippers, man, whatever. I don't know. But I thought, boy, I said, doc, you better shut up. You're gonna bury yourself, man. He did. And then he tried to own it and just buried himself more. I thought, oh, boy, bury yourself. That was good times, boy. I'm glad it wasn't me. Usually it's me. Usually it's me. Usually it's me. John 2:1 John 2:1. Faith turns a no into a yes. And on the third day, there was a wedding in Canaan of Galilee. And the mother of Jesus was there. You know, women like to host stuff, right? Women like to set up a nice. Why you laughing? Because you like. You're like laughing. They like a fiesta. The fiesta. Women like to be homemakers, you know, they like everything perfect. And all this stuff when the party comes over, all the cups out, all that stuff. Everything correct. And when you get a woman going on that mission, boy, the men better look out. Man, these women act crazy if you don't do what they say. And his mother was pretty adamant about something. They had run out of some grape drink, it says, and they had ran out of wine. And the mother of Jesus said to him, they have no wine. Jesus said, woman, that's how you talk to women. You call them woman. If Jesus said it, hey. If she says, you need to take trash out, woman, let me tell you something. It ain't my time. Not my time. I dig that hole. Because it's generic. It applies to all women. He said, woman, what does your concern have to do with me? For what? For my hour has not come. And so she goes, all right, that's fine. So she goes to the servants and says, hey, whatever he says to you, what do you do? You do it. So she's bypassed what she just heard. She's going to turn a no into a yes. So she goes, I Don't like that answer. That's not what I came for. I'm leaving for with what I came. So Jesus says. So the servants come and stand before Jesus, and he says, because of her persistence, pretty much she gonna get what she wants. And he says, go fill the things up with water. Well, water is not wine. Water is something that you feed grapes to make them grow. And the grape does the processing to get that product that you need naturally. It is impossible to turn water into wine like that. It has to go through a process. What Jesus does is he removes the process. So Jesus says, go put the water in there, but fill them all the way up to the brim. Fill them up to the top, because something is about to happen here. Because the mother. The reason this is in the book is because the mother refused to hear Noah's the answer. So he says, fill them up to the brim. And then I want you to go hand it to the master of the party. And he goes, this is some fine wine. This is good stuff. Because the mother refused to take no as an answer. So many times we've taken no with sickness and disease as our answer. The body says, you can't do that anymore. Anymore. But faith says, I can do that. So therefore, whatever's telling me no, I'm telling you yes. Because the world doesn't have the yes as a guarantee. But the Christian, the believer, has yes as a guarantee. We have something to stand on that the world doesn't. They're bound to sickness and disease, but not us. We have authority over sickness and disease. Are y' all being helped so far? You always go as far as you can. You always act like you have the money, and you have to act like you're fully healed. So many times I see people and they don't make preparations for healing. They don't see themselves healed because they're not healed. They don't plan anything out of the circumference of what they're able to do. I would plan a trip to Disneyland if I physically could not go there. Because I'm going to make a step in that direction to do something that I couldn't do Because I need to turn a no into a yes. And I do that by faith. Amen. Amen. You guys got your Bible? Mark 10:46. Mark 10:46. And now they came to Jericho. As they went out of Jericho with his disciples, a great multitude. Blind Bartimaeus, the son of, sat by the roadside begging. And when he had heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to what? Cry out, jesus, son of David, have mercy on me. But what did the other people tell him to do? Be quiet. What are they telling him? No, but what did he do? Cried out all the more because he knew his circumstance could be changed by this man. No matter what people were telling him. You go to a cancer place, they tell you that you get cancer. That is what they're telling you. But we need to change that outcome. How do we do it? By faith. And we adjust that and say, I refuse to accept that. They told him to be quiet. He had an option. He had an option to be quiet and say, well, I don't want to be a problem. Well, he's going to be a little bit of a problem. But out of that comes this healing. So he starts screaming. And they said, be quiet. So Jesus stood still and commanded him to be called. The reason he was called is because his faith. His faith was crying out because he truly wanted to be healed. And when they called the blind man, saying to him, be of good cheer. He is calling you. And he threw aside his garment, and he rose and came to Jesus. And it's funny, because Jesus asked him, what do you want? Well, you can see he's blind because it's based on his faith. What do you want me to do? And the blind man said, rabbi, that I may receive my sight. Then Jesus said to him, go your way. Your faith, what has made you whole. What was his faith with? It was, Jesus needed to recognize me. And once he did, and he called me, that's it. I've got it. Some of them said, if I could just touch the hem of his garment. That's what it was. Anytime that we come up to a circumstance, that the circumstances, you can't go anymore. That's where faith takes over. And faith turns it into a yes, you can keep going. And we know that when God split that sea, they went into a place. But what I'm saying is they did not give up. Moses did not give up. He knew God was going to come through. And it's so important that we don't forget that. We don't forget that just because we heard no doesn't mean it's the final outcome. Amen. Are y' all being helped so far? Let's go to. Where are we at? Let's go to mark 9:23, just right around the corner. And we know here that this young boy I want to go down to. Let's go down to verse 21. And he. And he asked his Father, how long has he been like this and he said from childhood and often has thrown him from both into the fire, into the water and tried to destroy him. But he said, if you can do anything, let's go down to verse 23. And Jesus said to him, if you what? If you can believe, all things are possible. To who? To him that believes. I know when we decide to walk in a round, maybe that's. You know, we were trying to pay off this church for almost 20 years. And every time we would do a fundraiser or something, I mean, we just get a couple thousand dollars. I'm not putting that down. I'm just saying they didn't have it. I don't think our people are stingy people. They just didn't have it. So we needed to get into a different place. We needed to get into a different realm. And mom guided us through that by not taking what we're seeing in front of us as well. If they can't do it, then God can't do it. And we have to go on paying all this money. But no matter what happens in your body, you can't take that when it says no. You have to change it by faith and turn it into a yes. Amen. It is so important that we never give up when we're believing for stuff. Amen. We know that Jesus goes to the multitude and the disciples come and they say, we don't have enough food. We don't have nothing. And Jesus said, that's not a problem. What do we have? What do we have? And then they said, well, we got X amount of fishes and lows, but what is that amongst so many people? And Jesus, that's not a problem. That's not a problem. Bring it here. And he prays over it and starts to break it. And he puts it in the bags to be distributed. And during the distributing, it's multiplying. They don't understand it. It's just happening. Because he refused to take what he saw in front of him as the final outcome. There has been so many times that we have done business deals with mom and we've come up to nothing. We didn't have the. It was always. It seemed like there was never enough money. There was never enough resources to complete something. But somehow we come out winning. Doesn't matter if the walls are up. What's going on? Because she refused to take no as the answer. Because faith changes. No's to yeses. I'm almost done. Persistence gets the do. One thing, I don't know if this is a song, but Jesse goes, someone's knocking at the door. Is that an old song? Okay, I don't know that. Okay. But one thing that faith does, it knocks. Because if you don't knock, it doesn't open. And when you know someone's home, you keep knocking and you don't stop knocking until you hear the little locks on the door start to, what, Open? And then you get in. So faith is the knocker on the door. You go, clack, clack, clack. Some have little ones, some have big ones, some have gothic ones, whatever it is. But what I'm saying is every believer, we come to doors that we need opened. And faith is how you get the door open. It's not always by money. It's not always by certain things. Because we need faith to open the door. I know that. Things we are believing for. I know that. Me personally, I am. And our staff, we are believing. To get Nancy Dufresne in an aircraft, I. I mean, that's just the way it is. I mean, that's where we're at now. This building is paid for. We're off to the next thing. I know she can't really talk about this, but I can. She can. But it hits different if I do. And I know that. I know that we are closer than we've ever been before. We're on the cusp if they. Whatever a hangar door sounds like. I can hear it opening. Whatever lock they have on a hangar door, I can hear it unlocking. Because we have refused to take our financial situation as the answer. Because naturally, we don't have all the money. But by faith, we do. We have everything we need. So whatever we hear that you can't have that or you don't have enough money, that don't matter. Because we believe, even though we've been told no, we're going to turn it into a yes. That's just the way it is. Nancy Dufresne will have an aircraft very shortly. That's just the way it is. She called me a while back. She said, I've just spent four hours driving to LAX and I have missed my flight because of traffic. And now I got to sit here and find another flight. And she said, if I had an airplane, you know how far you could be in four hours flying? You could be pretty far. And then she missed her flight. Finally got to where she's going. Then she's leaving again. Well, she don't want to be late this time, so she gets there five hours early. So now she's sitting at the Airport, five hours early. Man, if you had an airplane, you don't have to do all that trash. And she called me and said, I need an airplane now. Now. I said, I'm in agreement with you. And we're turning nos into yeses because we knocking on the door. I'm, I'm, I'm wrapping up. But we are knocking at a door because we're expecting it to open it to us, and we're persistent to getting the door open. When you receive an aircraft, the purchasing is the, is the small bit. It's everything else that goes with it. We have, you know, Josh is our. One of he's going to be a pilot. Mom hired him like eight years ago to be a pilot. We ain't had an airplane in eight years. But he was hired because mom was taking steps in that direction before we were even close to it. And he's going off here in the next week or two to go get training for an aircraft we don't have, because we knocking on doors, we going every which way we know to go. And then they go, what do you need to get trained in? I don't know. We'll just train them in the closest plane we like. How about that? You know, I mean, what else do you do when you don't have one nailed down? That's what we do. And we're knocking on doors. Like just no one knocking at the door. I don't know that song. I don't know. But when you come up to know, you come into the devil's territory. And when you go into the devil's territory, you have to remove him. And that's how you remove him with faith and commanding. You can't be here. This isn't your place. You have to release it. So therefore, you need to leave, because I need to occupy this place. Jesus told us, you need to knock on doors and they'll be open to you. You need to look, and what are you going to do? You're going to find, so you got to keep looking and knocking. I'm just about done. So one thing that me and my wife did is when we would drive around, we would drive around places we could never afford in the natural, and we'd go break into homes that we couldn't afford. We break into homes. I want to see what's inside. You say, will you break into someone's house? No, they're empty. Chill, relax. But we would go into places and imagine ourselves in it. You have to imagine yourself in it. Well, how do you do that? With healing, you have to imagine yourself healed. You have to imagine yourself going places that you couldn't go before, doing things you couldn't do before. What does it feel like to have no back pain? So I don't know how, what that feels like. It's possible. Been. I haven't felt without back pain for 15 years. Whatever. This is where faith gets you into that realm again. Because faith, your imagination, was put there to see things that God can do for us. Imagination, we see ourselves flying like Superman, Batman. Kids love to use their imagination, but our imagination was to create. That's what it's there for, to see things that do not exist. God said, the Tower of Babel people, they were so working together. He said, there's nothing that they can't do because they were such visionaries. Nothing could stop them. They just headed the wrong way. And so God had to mix up their language because they refused to take no as an answer. They're just going the wrong way. So every time God does something great, he's going to take you to a place where there's nothing left for you to go. And out of that, that's where our faith says, I refuse to take no. Or a sign that says, go back as my answer. Have y' all been helped today? I want you to know whether you're looking for a home, whether you're believing for your family to come back, whether you're believing for healing in your body. Don't let anything tell you no. Hezekiah reverted. What God said, think about that. He changed God's mind and said, I refuse to go the way that you just told me to. And God said, because you said that, I'm giving you 15 more years. The woman came to Jesus would not pay attention to her. A word. Real estaters. I'm not. That's not the right word. Realtors. You can call a realtor and make them some bogus offer and they hang up the phone. It don't matter. Then you're not then. Then someone else is going to be listening to home. Because you ain't it. This ain't for you then. Because there's times when you got to go make some bogus deals, bogus ideas. It doesn't matter what it looks like, it doesn't matter what it feels like. How much money you have this ministry. I feel like just recently, I mean, we've gotten out of where we live, in paycheck to paycheck in a way, because all those years we were getting someplace, we were going somewhere. It's funny when you get nice things. People don't know the back story. They only know the front story. They don't know where you stood. You know, this church used to be in an elementary gymnasium. I mean, that's where we were because we didn't have a building. I mean, now we have a paid off building and now we're going different places. We know that mom is one of the leading voices in the nation on healing. I do not believe there's anyone else that is preaching the word that she's preaching, that she's going into a realm that she's going into and this church in this group of people. Will you believe with me that there is an aircraft for her? That we believe when everything tells us no, that that doesn't matter because we're gonna get a yes. It just matters if you're in the way or not. Because where we're going, we're going by faith. Whether we have the money or not doesn't matter. So I want to encourage you today, no matter what, you know, you don't feel like you can buy a building. I mean, everything's really expensive. I get it. I mean, everything's crazy expensive. Track homes around here. Like $780,000. What a track house. I know food. You go to the grocery store. What happened? I mean, it's crazy. I went out and got one bag and it's like 80 bucks in one bag. I bought chips, some ice cream, and like a couple things. But what do you do when more's going out than coming in? So naturally you go, man, ain't gonna be enough left. So you have to say, well, you know what? I refuse to let that tell me that I don't have enough, but I'm going to turn no into a yes. Well, you don't have a job that pays you enough. That don't matter. That doesn't matter because we know that inflation is up, but people's pays haven't risen to meet those. I follow some of this stuff, but I'm just saying you go, my God, this stuff hasn't caught up yet and everything's just going through the roof. I mean, a car, $120,000, $100,000, everything's crazy. So this is a time of faith where you say, I can't afford a car. Don't say that. Say, you know what? It don't matter about money. It have nothing to do with it. It matters because the mother of Jesus said, hey, I need you to make something that doesn't exist. And I Need you to do it. When? Right now. And I need you to take a process that takes over time and put it within seconds. That's what faith does, is it takes something that would have took paying off this building 40 years and did it within a couple weeks. Because. Hey, Tony. Hey, hey, hey. Because. Because we don't have time for all that junk. I can't make enough ships to cross the ocean. But what I can do is I need you to move it. Because I don't have time to make ships for millions of people. So what I need you to do is move it. I don't have enough time to build ladders to go over walls, but what I need you to do is remove the walls. Hey, I'm preaching good now, Tony, help me. So I don't need you to help me build ladders. I need you to bring the wall. My daughter is dying. I need you to come now. He says, hey, she's sleeping. She wasn't sleeping. She dead. But what does faith say? Hey, sleeping is not dead. So I'm calling those things as though they were. And he laughed at him and said, hey, you crazy? She's dead. Her eyes are rolled back in her head. Said, hey, get him out of here. God's removing people out of your life that doubt unbelievers. Because we're going to a place where maybe there is no money. But he said, hey, the world's gonna tell you no. But I said, yes, so go get it and act like you got enough to get it, because that's what faith does. I'm gonna stop because Tony got me all worked up. What Jesus has done in the Old Testament, in the New Testament, for every other preacher, whether it be Brother Copeland Smith Wigglesworth, he is still doing that for you and me. I don't care what the world looks like. I don't care what everything. But there is increase coming to this ministry and everybody that's been in faith for all these years, we refuse to take no as an answer because God told us we could have it. And he didn't say, if you have enough. Hey, so God's doing miracles for us. Miracles is we got to use our faith, and miracles follow. It doesn't matter what the real estate, anything looks like, what car prices look like. If we have faith, we got miracles. Because miracles are like that. Marvel Studios, they make magic happen. What they say, that's what we have. An ability to walk into a miracle round, to change outcomes of destiny, change outcomes of our finances. It's not based on that. It's based on what God told us we can do. He said, if you can believe, if you can have it. Have y' all been helped today? So what does faith do? It turns a no into a yes. We trust. Episode: Faith Turns A No Into A Yes | Stephen Dufresne | Campmeeting 2024 | Friday AM
Date: June 8, 2024
Speaker: Stephen Dufresne
This episode features Stephen Dufresne speaking at Campmeeting 2024, focusing on the principle that faith has the power to turn seemingly impossible situations—and repeated "no"s—into "yes" answers. Through biblical stories, personal testimonies, and practical encouragement, Stephen emphasizes the necessity of persistence, action, and unwavering belief, regardless of natural circumstances or past disappointments.
Stephen speaks with relatability, humor, and a spontaneous style, often using storytelling and self-deprecating jokes. His tone is practical, encouraging, and faith-filled, focused on stirring listeners to act boldly, persistently, and imaginatively—illustrating through Scripture and real-life examples that faith can and will turn every “no” into a “yes.”
Key Takeaway:
No matter how many times you’re told “no”—by circumstances, people, your body, finances, or even your own mind—faith’s persistence will eventually turn it into a “yes.” Don’t be deterred by lack or impossibility; act in faith, visualize the outcome, and keep knocking until the door opens.
