Hi, I'm Nancy Dufresne. Welcome to our podcast channel. We know you'll be blessed by today's message. Hallelujah. Father, we thank you just to be in the room this week. We're so grateful, and we don't take it lightly that we've gotten to come together. It's the highlight of our. Not only our week, our days, but of our life to get to come together. So I thank you, Father. I glorify you. And we've received so much of your plan, and, Father, we're taking it home with us, and we're living it. We're not leaving anything of your plan in the room. We're taking it with us. And we're doers. We're doers. We're doers. We're doers. And we thank you for it. And everybody said amen. My, my, my. What about the supply they bring? Thank you, thank you, thank you, thank you. Wow, wow, wow. They just make it so, so easy. Pastors, I feel for you. You don't have them in your service Sunday. I feel for them when they're not in every one of my services because they just make it so easy. And not just easy for me to minister, but easy for you to receive. Amen. Because worship is first, first and foremost to the glory of God, to glorify him. The next thing, it's to help the people. Help the people to receive of what God has for me, that service. Then it's also to help the pastor, whatever draws on his gifting and anointing, that enhances the anointing upon him. Because when the anointing upon him is enhanced, the people receive more. Amen. Thank God. And they have certainly brought that this week. Thank you again. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. And then David has put together the album, the first volume of the worship album. Dr. Bill Winston, when he was with us at the Holy Ghost meetings, he says, y' all need to be putting out an album at least every six months. So we're kind of taking that on as a challenge. We got some things in the works, don't we? And so some of what you heard tonight is on that album. And you can be seated and I don't know. Tony, do you know when that accompaniment track comes out and available this week? So it'll be available to them within the month or so. The songs that are on the worship album, they'll be available for you as stems, accompaniment tracks. So you can add in parts, you can take out parts, add in instruments, take them out, because we want to put resources in your hands as pastors and in the hand of your team. And so we just count it a privilege to make that available to you. Praise the Lord. Well, the Lord is good. I said the Lord is good. Hallelujah. And before we go any further, I want to say a great big thank you, Pastor Greg and Amy Anderson. Stand up. Stand up. Thank you so, so much. Turn around, let them see your beautiful faces. And they have done all the work to make it easy for us. All we did was show up and. And all they did was all the work. And so we thank you so much. And to the congregation Impact Family Church. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you for opening up your home and making it available to us and sharing and. Somebody's cleaning the building. And one of my guesses, you may have a team, but I have a feeling Steve Kondo has something to do with the cleaning of this building. Is he in this room tonight? He may be somewhere in the building, cleaning it, working it. Do we know where he's. He's in security. Yeah. Well, he's going to even have security after he leaves because we made it so secure that he's needed to clean. But I tell you, there's. And then they may have others that are part of that department that help. But thank you, pastors. We so, so appreciate it. And we're just grateful. Aren't we grateful? Hallelujah. And Stephen did a good job this week, right? Yeah. I tell you, if you can't. If you get offended at Steph, nobody. Nobody would dare. Right? And there's one thing about Stephen, there's not a religious bone in his body, but he's always reaching with his faith. And my family has been. I will say this, my two sons, not perfect, but never caused us a day's heartache in our family because we just kept them close to the. We kept them with us in the ministry so that they didn't develop an appetite for something less than. And we just kept them with us, and they were willing to go, and they loved the plan of God. And now Grant. Where's Grant? I don't know. Where? Back there. He's now pastor of the home church there in Murrieta and doing a great job, and so. And Morgan, this week, so good, right? Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Go with me, if you would. Luke, chapter four, verse 16. Luke, chapter four, verse sixteen. Tonight, I just want to take. I really don't want to do as much teaching or preaching because we've Had a full week of it. And I want to be able to take a little bit of time and just minister to people and not feel rushed, but just take the time to do that. And I think of, what is it that when I minister along this line and I start giving the testimony of this family, the anointing is the strongest then the healing anointing. Because my husband used to say this to pastors. He'd say, pastors, give your testimony and watch what God will do. Why is that? Because Jesus made the statement, those who confess me before men, I will confess before the Father. What's that mean? Take public what God has done for you. If you're out talking to someone and you're endeavoring to minister the Word to them, don't drown them in scriptures. Just give them your testimony. Tell them what God did in your life, your faith, family, because you live in that story. And people need to hear something that is alive to you and not just a list of something you've learned, but they need to hear something alive to you. And this is what Paul did when he stood before a very royal audience, King Agrippa. And of all the revelation that came through his spirit, that that God gave to the body of Christ, he didn't try to impress the king. He took what God. He took God's movement in his life. And he told the king, and this was his sermon or this was his message before the king. I was on the road to Damascus and a light shone. And he didn't try to impress him. He just wanted the king to hear what God will do in a man who will yield to him. And I want you to know that's the greatest story you have to tell. And if you will take it public, know this. The more public you are with your testimony, the more you activate your covenant. Why is that? Because what you rehearse, God repeats. My husband, before he went home to be with the Lord, about six months before his exit, God spoke to him and said, talk more about those angels, those two angels that paid off your building. He said, if you'll talk more about it, they'll do more of it. Now look at that. What is that? Because what we rehearse, God repeats. Why do you think that? There's testimonies recorded in the Gospels? What you rehearse, God repeats. How many times have people been healed because they hung onto the testimony of the woman with the issue of blood? Or they hung onto the testimony of the man that was, you know, let down through the roof? Because at the testimony, we See what God will do in the lives of those who will open the door to him. And so just know this. If you will talk about it, God will repeat it. And you don't even have to have your own healing testimony to repeat. I don't know of any other more dramatic healing testimony than Brother Hagin's. I repeat it when I need healing. You say, well, that's his testimony. Know what I rehearse? God repeats, amen. I can take someone's testimony that really. And I put my faith into that. And I'll get results like they got. Why? Because God's no respecter of persons. And if you'll respond the same way they respond, you'll get the same thing they got. Amen. And so be bold to tell your testimony. I remember listening to John Osteen at one time when he had a congregation of about 10,000, I believe around the time of his homegoing. But he told his testimony so often to his congregation that he would say the first line and they'd say the second line. He'd say the third line and they'd say the fourth line. Why? Because he was giving them a story of God's movement. Because in his story, they heard answers for their lives. That's why that in every man's story, somebody hears answers for their life. Don't treat that lightly in your life. Talk about it. And so it's so important that you hold to the times that God has moved in your life. And you repeat it. You talk about it often, meditate on it. Because when David ran at Goliath, he didn't do that until he reminded himself, I killed a lion, I killed a bear. What did he do? He repeated testimonies of God's movement in his life when he needed another miracle. So your testimony can get you into your next miracle. And the thing is, you can spend it over and over and over. One testimony, over and over and over. And Jesus knew the power of testimony because he. He's the one that was not gonna let the woman with the issue of blood just silently walk off. He said, wait a minute, wait a minute. Who touched me? Why? Because Jesus knew multitudes would be healed just by her telling it. Amen. You can get healed off someone else's testimony. That's what feeding on the scriptures of healing testimonies is. You getting healed off their testimony. You don't need some big Dr. Healing testimony of your own in the past. Go find someone who had it, put yourself in it, and call it the same result as yours and God Will perform it. It's amazing. And your testimony, you know, you know better than anybody else. Tell somebody what God has done. Amen. Don't try to impress anybody. Don't try to overwhelm them. People just need help, right? My husband, before he was born again, he was raised in a home of alcoholism. He was raised in a home of mental illness. And know this. Your start doesn't really matter. Your start doesn't really matter. Amen. Paul talked about, take note of those and observe those amplified says, observe those who the outcome of their lives. It matters how you finish, because there's all kinds of different factors and people that can play into the start of your life, but you determine the finish you might have been in. Being born into a difficult home, a troubled family, a harassed family, doesn't matter what start someone gave you. You walk with God and you determine outcome of your life. You determine it. So that means we can't hold on to how we didn't get this and how we didn't get that, because today we have everything available to us that God planned for us. And so my husband was raised in a home of mental illness, alcoholism. And he was. It was a Catholic home, but not a very good Catholics. They didn't ever go. And Ed said, I think he went maybe twice a year, you know, twice a year. And then said, lie on his income tax and see how much he'd given to the church, you know. Cause that's what you did when you didn't know God. And so here he was, 25 years old. His parents were alcoholics. And not to go back into that history of how they became that way, but they both became alcoholics. And at the age of 25, he's on the exact same road. His mother was in and out of mental institutions for years. He watched her as a child, try to kill herself. He watched as a child when she'd say, come here, little lady. Look at the monkeys in the bushes. She'd be out front of the house and she'd be seeing evil spirits that were tormenting her life. And he'd see him come and put her on a gurney and strap her to the gurney and her flip that gurney, she was so full of devil. And the night before she died, he got her born again. But here he was on the exact same road, 25 years old, spending his time that he wasn't working in the bars. And there was a fellow carpenter. My husband was a builder carpenter, and there was a fellow carpenter. And he would invite my husband to church every single Sunday. And my husband would decline him with color. You know what I mean? No, you know, all that. And so one day my husband realizing, he said, my life was just hopeless looking, and in desperation he set up an appointment to go see his Catholic priest. And so he met with him and he was telling the Catholic priest, I'm entrenched in alcohol, all kinds of depressed in my mind. My life is falling apart. What do I do? And he said, well, you need to go through catechism again. So he handed him catechism tracts. And he said, okay, you know, he didn't know, okay, whatever you say. And he said, you need to join the men's bake sale this Saturday. You don't want anything. Ed baked. And he said, the men's bake sale? He said, yeah, we don't have anyone to man the Budweiser booth. And my husband said, that's my problem. I've been manning the Budweiser booth. And that was all the help he offered. And Ed walked out, completely hopeless. Walked down to the corner bar where he had spent so much time and just went in there and sat down on the bar stool. He didn't know where else to go for help. And as he sat there, he heard a voice audible and said, you're going to go all over the world and preach the gospel. As he sat there, heard this voice sitting on a bar stool, you're going to go all over the world and preach the gospel. And he said, joe, set everybody up with a beer. I'm going to be a priest. And he took out his catechism tracts and started passing out the catechism tracts there in the bar. The thing I so appreciated, he started acting as best as he knew, he just started, it's the wrong act, but at least it was act Paul on the road to Damascus. And he said, saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me? Who are you? Who are you? You know, I'm Jesus, who you persecute. And he said, what would you have me do? See, we're to become doers. Doers. And that's what we see about Paul. He was wired to do something. That's what my husband was wired to do, something. And so again, that was on a Friday night. Again, the co worker said to him, on Saturday, would you go with me to church? And this time Ed said, I'll go. He said, if I go with you once, will you leave me alone? He said, if you just go one time, I'll leave you alone. I won't keep asking. So Ed went with him. And that Sunday morning, he got born again. Amen. 1965. And they told him to come back for church that night and said. They said, bring your Bible. So he walked in with his big white Catholic Bible, brought his Bible, and they got him a different one. And after the church service, he walked up to the pastor and said, I've been serving the devil for 25 years, but now that I'm born again, I want to do something for Jesus. What can I do for Jesus? And the pastor said, we don't have anyone. He said, I don't have anyone to clean the restrooms. Meaning he had been doing it. Why a church full of people and no one would do it? Why? Because some think certain things are beneath them. Can I tell you, it's not the task that's honorable. It's the honor you bring to the task. It's not the task that makes you honorable. There are people who do very lofty tasks, and they're no more honorable for doing them. You bring the honor to the task. And after a church full of people, no one would do it because they thought it was beneath them. When we belong to Jesus, we'll do anything. Anything. Amen. Don't have anything off limits of what you will or won't do. I'm glad Jesus didn't have these guidelines of what he would or wouldn't do. And so the pastor said, I don't have anyone that'll clean the toilets. And Ed said, that's my job. Immediately, he didn't think it beneath him, and he immediately began cleaning the toilets. And so it went on to. He was so faithful with that that he began cleaning the whole church. And one day while he was cleaning the pulpit, he had removed the things. It was a solid wooden pulpit. There was a shelf inside, and he had taken the things off the shelf. He was reaching in to clean the things off the shelf so he could dust in there. And when he stuck his head in there, he heard a voice and said, you will stand behind this holy pulpit and preach my word. He thought the pastor had put a speaker. It was audible to him, and he looked everywhere for the speaker and couldn't find it. But God began revealing his future to him. That's where that puts hope in us so quickly, so easily when he lets us know he has a plan for us. And so the pastor promoted him from being a toilet cleaner to being the building cleaner to being a door greeter. And then he became a deacon. And one day on a Sunday morning, the pastor was having the Deacons to line up in front of the congregation. They were each holding the bread and the, you know, the juice and ready to distribute it to the congregation. And Ed was up there in that line with the other ushers. And as he stood up there, he said to God, he said, God, I don't even understand what communion is all about. And when he said that, the ceiling of that church building disappeared. And he had a vision. And he saw Jesus hanging on the cross. And he saw words begin to fly through the air. And they came slowly at first. Cancer, tuberculosis, arthritis. And they would strike him as they flew through the air, and his whole body would jolt and jar. And he said, then they came so fast there was no way you could read them words. He recognized words he didn't recognize. And he was seeing what the prophet Isaiah saw. He saw the sickness and disease of humanity being laid on Jesus. And now he knew this is what communion is all about. Jesus took our place. Amen. Why do I tell that? Because years ago, in pastoring in the church in Southern California, this would have been in the 1990s. Ed was holding a healing service on a Friday night with our congregation. And he said to that congregation, he said, this is how God taught me about divine healing. And he told that vision that I just told you. And when he came home that night after the service, he went upstairs. I was downstairs doing something. Later I came up and it was still quite early, and he was in bed. And he said, honey, come and pray for me. I said, why? He said, I'm sick. I said, why? When did you start feeling sick? He was perfectly fine earlier. So I laid hands on him. I walked out of the room and he said, God, he said, you don't miss it, but I've missed it. Where have I missed it? And he said, you announced to the people tonight that when you told that vision, you said, that's how God taught me about divine healing. He said, I did not show you that to teach you. I showed you that so you could teach others. And because you have thought it was just me teaching you, you haven't told it. And the people have been robbed of knowing what I showed you. That's why when dad Hagin, I believe, envisions that book, they happen to him, but they happened for us. And we need to. We have a responsibility to study those, to find out what God said to him for us. Amen. And so that's why I tell it, because it's for the body to know. Yes. You can see it by reading the prophet Isaiah. But not only that, there's a man that saw it. No doubt he's not the only one. But he did see it. And so, anyway, so he was faithful in his local church. While he was building that local church, one day somebody came up to him. He's just serving there in the ministry of helps. And somebody came up and handed him a brochure. That brochure was a pamphlet advertising the Full Gospel Businessmen's World Convention that was going to take place at the Denver Hilton Hotel in Denver, Colorado. And they said, God told me to bring this to you. And Ed took it. And the moment he took it, God said, I want you to go to that. And Ed said, God, I don't have the money to go to that. And God said, sell your house. You don't do something like that unless God tells you. But if God tells you to. My husband had this statement that he lived by faith, will do whatever it takes. And he said to God, he said, God, that meeting is in 30 days. I don't have time to sell my house and get to there. God didn't reply back. So Ed went that day and put his house on the market. And the next day, someone came and did a cash deal and bought it. Cash the next day. By the next day, he had the money. So he did what he had to do to get there to that meeting. And the way they had the meeting set up was in the daytime. There were not just one meeting, but multiple meetings going on in that. In the meeting rooms of that hotel. And in that, you could select whichever meeting you wanted to attend. And then I guess there was a main meeting at night, but in the daytime, there were multiple meetings. And so there were three men that were the main speakers at this convention, men he had never heard of. One was John Osteen. And God spoke to him and said, I want you to follow him closely, because one day you'll pastor. And he's your example of a pastor. The second man he had never heard of. He was new on the preaching scene, a fellow by the name of Kenneth Copeland. And God said to him, he's going to be a teacher in your life. Follow him as a teacher. You know, God puts different people in your life for different reasons. And you need to know why God's done that for us. I mean, he's brought Brother Richard Roberts. Since my husband's homegoing, he's brought Brother Richard Roberts as an example and a help in the healing ministry to us. He's brought Brother Jesse Duplantis, a visionary teaching Us to Keep reaching for Dr. Bill Winston, who has taught us own it all. Faith for advancement, faith for buildings, faith to fulfill the assignment. And then Brother Kenneth Copeland, that God has said, now he's the main voice in your life. And every time people don't realize that man privately, you see many times that prophet's office functions more sometimes privately than publicly. I can't tell you the number of times when he's come to our church and ministered from 2014 to 2024, 11 years, every January he's come and we would as a family, go out and meet his plane when he arrived. And then also when he would leave early on Sunday morning, we would go see him off before we went church. And so many times he would bless our family, lay hands on standing there at the plane. And multiple times he would minister to us, speak to us over the grandchildren, over my children, over me. God has shown me through the years from the time I was 19, he's shown me my future in visions and in dreams. Not a lot, just a few. But that man walked out one day as he was getting ready to board his plane and. And in one paragraph by the Spirit summed up everything God had ever shown me about my future. It matters who you're connected to. It matters because somebody knows God better than you. And you need someone to help you in your advancement. And you need to know who it is and you need to know what role they're there for. Because different ones. If I have somebody that says one thing to me and I have another minister that says an opposing thing to me, I have to evaluate, okay, this minister is in my life for this person. So I'm going to dismiss when this man said something that opposed this because I know who has the revelation for what. Arenas, does that make sense to you? Know who God has in your life? It will be primarily one person, but other teachers and they impart something different. And you better have somebody that you listen to, because if there's nobody you listen to, nobody needs to listen to you. That's exactly right. We've seen that people that were so divinely connected to my husband, but because of age, they were older than anyone else. They quit coming because Ed wasn't there and they had no one they listened to. And you just saw health ministry take a nosedive because I don't care who you are, you need to be fed. You need to be fed. Preachers need to be fed. Pastors need pastors that feed them. You better know who they are. And it's such an admiration that I hold for Brother Copeland because twice a year he puts on his calendar, what meetings. He goes in to sit and be fed. And they're younger than him, 20 years younger. He doesn't care. It's not about age. Can I say. Let me just. Let me just say it. Let me just say it. Where is my son, Grant? Where is he? I don't know where he's at. That's okay. I don't need him being here. I can talk about him freely. He's sturdy, 30 or 31. He's 31 this year in April. So he's been pastoring since last year. People say, listen, there were people that were in our church almost longer. And he's been alive, and he's their pastor. You're not feeding the sheep because of your age. It's the office that feeds them. It's not your. It's the office that feeds them. It's the office that keeps them safe. Don't you ever look at age and say, they don't know, they haven't been around? No, it's the office. It's the giftings and the abilities that that office holds. And it's not about age. And it doesn't even matter if they're not even that developed in preaching and teaching because it's the office that keeps the sheep safe. That's right. That's right. So don't get arrogant. That if God tells you to sit under someone younger than you, it's the office you need. There's things that will flow through that office. And as they. Everyone's continuing to mature. We're all continuing to grow. But don't ever dismiss someone because you think, well, I've been at it longer. Who did God tell you to listen to? And when God tells you to listen to them, you better decide they'll never offend me. Cause I can't afford to get offended with the help God has in my life. Now, if someone walks off into sin, don't blindly follow. Can I tell you this? You only ever give a man double honor. Not more than double. Understand that. You start going beyond double honor, and now you're tapping into glory that belongs to God. And you start putting too much emphasis on man, honor and double honor. That's all we're ever commissioned to give, is honor. And I tell you that that will keep you right. Double honor. But if you start laying more than double honor. You see someone in sin and you say, well, you closed a blind eye. No, no. Because now you have gone beyond double Honor. And now you're honoring someone regardless of how they live. That's not scriptural. Paul said, follow me as I follow Christ. I quit following Christ. I'm done. But I will not get offended with you just because you said something that I need that I didn't know I needed. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Praise the Lord. Don't ever decide you're offended with your pastor. Why would God give you another one if you got offended with the one he already gave you? If you mishandled one, why would he give you two to mishandle? It's just common sense, right? Children, you give them a toy and they take it on the sidewalk, throw it down and break it. You gonna walk up and say, oh, let me go get you another one. No. I want you to know you guard and protect those divine relationships that God has put in your life if you want to reach the end. And you never reach a point where you don't have to be taught. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Well, the Lord is good. I said, the Lord is good. So God said when he saw Brother Copeland there, he said, he'll be a teacher to you. And he taught my husband. My husband had great regard for him. He went down and snuck into the youth meeting that Brother Copeland was preaching. And that was one of the first meetings that Brother Copeland held once he started in the ministry. And Ed was no youth, he was in his 30s. But he snuck in there, and Brother Copeland was preaching the sermon called the Covenant Man David. And he came out of that meeting and he said, does that man have any more. Does he have any sermons recorded? And there was a blond headed woman standing there and said, yes, he does. And it was Gloria Copeland handed him a brochure, and he got all of Brother Copeland's materials. And I'll get back to that in a minute. But then there was a third fellow there that he had never heard of, and his name was Kenneth Hagin. And God said, this is the primary reason why I brought you. He said, he is to be a spiritual father to you, and you are to stay with him until he's no longer here. And we did. We stayed with him till he was no longer here. And because of that, when he left, we didn't look, what's the next thing to do? We stayed with him so we would know what to do when he left. When he left, we didn't lose our path. We didn't lose our direction. We didn't go try to find a new direction. And I want you to know God, God did not raise you in one company to all of a sudden shift you to another company. When you come into another season. He builds the same direction, just takes you further in the same direction. He does not jerk you into a whole nother realm, revelation or some kind of truth that's going to take you off of your foundation that he laid in you. God's not tearing down the foundation he laid in you. So my husband stayed with him for all of those years. But he went into a afternoon meeting there at the Denver Hilton Hotel, one of the meeting rooms. And there was three steps that led up to one of these meeting rooms that he was going to go in. And as he was walking toward that room, there was a woman laying across those steps, and he thought she had had a medical emergency. And there was a man standing by this woman who's just laying across the steps. And Ed walks up to the man and says, what's the matter with her? And he said, well, because Ed was going to do something, you know. And he said, well, said she had never been filled with the Holy Ghost, asked me to lay hands on her. And now she's laying down there praying in tongues. And Ed had never seen anyone fall out under the power of the Holy Ghost. So he thought she needed medical aid. And so as he's standing there, he's realizing something supernatural happened. And she was overcome by the power of God. And she's laying on that floor. And he said to himself, God, I hope you never see that word never about you. If you just bite you, I hope you never. And before he could even finish saying it to himself, do anything like that to me is what he intended. But when he God, I hope you never. And at that moment, a light flashed through the entire lobby. He fell out. And everyone in a radius in the entire lobby, about 50 people fell out. What was that? Glory. And he said, when I fell out, there was this large woman that fell right on top of me. He said, I got delivered from having a grudge against women preachers that day. Because he said, I thought women shouldn't be preaching, because that's what he was told. He said, I got delivered that day laying there from that bad doctrine. And he said, I tried to get up and couldn't because she was on me. And he said, and while I was laying there, Jesus walked up and put a healing anointing in his hand. And his hands started burning like he's holding a coal of fire. And he says, I'm laying there trying to get up. And I can't get up because she's not getting up. He said, finally she got up. He said, I could get up. And she said, something happened to you? He said, yeah. Jesus walked in, put a healing anointing in my hand. She said, the reason I'm so large is because I have a cancerous tumor all around my middle. And there's only a tent dress that could accommodate that, covering that. And she said, put your hand on me. And he said, I just put my hand on her head. And he said, like somebody popped a balloon. That cancer disappeared and the dress fell alongside. She's standing there, normal size, Normal size. Everybody saw it, and everybody started running. Lay hands on me. Lay hands on me. He said, for over an hour, I'm out there laying hands on people. And a guy said, get him his own room. Talking about a meeting room. So he went home, told his pastor about that. His pastor said to him, he said, we're not having that around here. He said, don't get involved in that. He started talking. Ed was telling about Kenneth Hagin. He said, we're not getting involved in that. He says, I know Kenneth Hagin. He said he came when I was an associate pastor to my church years ago. Kenneth Hagin came. He said the pastor couldn't take him to lunch one day and asked me as the associate to take him to lunch. And he said. He said as we were eating lunch, he said, I had a growth right here on my wrist. And he said my sleeve, his dress sleeve on his shirt had fallen back a little bit, and you could see the growth. And Brother Hagin saw it at lunch and said, brother, why don't you curse that thing? And he said, I just pulled it up. Said, no, no, no, it's fine. It's fine. And he said, would you mind if I curse it? He said, well, I guess. I guess you can. He said he sat there right at the table and cursed it. And he said, I watched it disappear. Watched it disappear. And he said, now don't get involved in that. Well, come to find out. Come to find out. He had had a boy that when he was about 10, 11, 12, was diagnosed with leukemia. And he had prayed, begging God to heal him. And he died. And he said, see, healing is not for everybody. And he said, that happened at a time when I was running from God. I knew God wanted me to pastor, and that happened. And Ed said, well, Pastor, do you think it has anything to do with running from God? And that just made him mad. So Ed said, here I Had I'd helped build this new church building that they were in. He said, I've been there for now six years. He said, that was my church, that was my pastor. That was the man that I was brought to Christ under. And he said, and they basically dismissed me from the church. But he said, but to go on with what God had, I had to go where God was putting me. You see, if somebody stops, you got to keep going no matter what. And so anyway, so Ed came home and he got those Brother Copeland's. They were the old reel to reel tapes, the big ones back then. And he had locked himself up in the garage. And for three months he just stayed in that garage and listened all day to those tapes. And he got that word in him, this word of faith. Don't ever think that the word of faith is only the teaching on the subject of faith. Paul called the new covenant the word of faith. That's the new covenant. So when we preach word of faith, we're not just preaching a faith message. That whole thing, it's all by faith. It's all by faith. And so my husband locked himself up and heard those sermons over and over and over. And he had been dismissed from his church. Basically. He said they didn't kick him out, but he said they were so rude to him and they just froze him out, so to speak. And so he left. And he got a call from somebody that was holding a Bible study and said, would you come and teach us? Because they heard about the healings. So he said, yes, I'll come. So he came to that Bible school, that Bible study weekly, and he would pack up his tape player and Brother Copeland's tapes, and he'd walk in and put it on some kind of a table. And he would set up the tape player, load the tape and say, I'm going to lay hands on the sick and minister to the sick. But first Brother Copeland is going to preach to you. And he'd push play and go sit down and they'd all listen to Brother Copeland preach. And he did that for about three months. And so one day he's loading the tape player in the car to come to the Bible study, and God spoke to him and said, leave your tape player at home. And brother Copeland, he loved that story. He absolutely loved the story. And he said to Ed when he heard it, he says, all that preaching I did for you, did you ever send me any offering on that? And they were preaching buddies without Brother Copeland knowing it. So one day God said, leave your tape player at Home. So Ed went to that Bible study and endeavored to preach. He said, it was the worst sermon you ever heard in your life. It lasted 15 minutes. He said, I stumbled and fumbled over my words. And he said it was the most embarrassing thing. He said it was terrible. And he said there was a little side room off where the main room where they were meeting. And he says, I went in there real hurriedly. I've gone to those side rooms, I preached so many times and go, oh, that's terrible. Let's just leave. Any preacher ever done that? Yawn. Oh, that was. I missed that. Oh, yeah, that. Maybe I should have put on a tape. And. And Ed went to the side room, so embarrassed. And he had it out with God. And he says, don't you ever have me to preach again. I did. So bad. There's that never word, you know, that don't ever. And while he was in there having it out with God, there was a knock on the door. And he was very agitated. He said, come in. And the little gal in her late 20s came in. She had a little girl that was about three years old. And she said, brother Dufresne, can I show you something? He said, what? She said, look at my little girl's feet. And he said, well, what's the matter with them? He's just standing. They're standing there. She looks normal. She said, you don't understand. When we came in, she had clubbed feet. She was born with club feet. Club feet for those. You don't see it today, but years ago, I had seen it before where the feet are completely backwards on the ankle, they're faced backwards, so therefore they're crippled. They can't walk. And she said when we came in, her feet were completely backwards. They were clubf. But while you were preaching, God straightened out her feet. Look at her feet. And he said, off of that message. She got healed off of that message. And he saw it wasn't him, it was God in the man. Yeah, it was God in the man. So when we talk about this healing, anointing, it didn't start here. It didn't start with Jesus the Healer broadcast. It didn't start by preaching at Southwest Believers. It started back in 1971. And we've carried it on. And that's God's intent, that the vision God gives a man is so big, the vision is bigger than the man's life. And once the man's life is over, the vision still is looking for a place to be fulfilled. And if you're smart, yeah, if you're smart, you stay with the man God put you with. And you don't go hunting for the popular. You stay with where God puts you so that you can carry on what's been developing for decades and decades. And then you start at an advanced place instead of at a beginning place. Ed saw himself in the 1970s. Morgan referred to it the other night. He had a vision and saw himself in outer space hanging off of something. He didn't know what it was, but later, after he saw the invention of these satellites, he said that's what was in the vision. He was hanging off of a satellite, declaring, jesus is the healer. See, that's the message God has for this ministry. I'm not looking for a new one. This one will take life after life after life after lifetime to fulfill it and carry it out. Amen. And it's my job to be, if I could say this, the Eunice, Lois, Eunice, Timothy. It's not my job to say, well, I want to be the beginner. How crazy are you? Eunice just took. Her mother was the beginner of this thing, the beginner of this life of faith. She's the one and demonstrated. And Eunice was carrying on with it. And Eunice just carried and passed it on to Timothy. And it went not only worldwide, but eternity wide because Lois began it. Eunice was entrusted with it and didn't throw it out because she wasn't the beginner of it. And she put it in her son. And we're still reading about a young man who served a man of God called Paul. You have no idea where the beginnings end up. Lois would never have known that she would have a grandson that would end up carrying that exact same faith into the life and ministry of a man named Paul. You have no idea that if you'll just stay with the whole trajectory of that vision, regardless of who's at the forefront of that thing, just stay with the vision, and the vision will carry you into greatness. And it carried Timothy into a great life alongside the Apostle Paul. Amen. And so we didn't wonder when Ed went to be, he left this earth. Stephen said to me that day, he said, mom, what are we going to do? I said, what we've always been doing. It's not hard. We've been trained for this. We've been training so that we know what to do when he's not here. So we just keep going. It's not hard. So whenever it came and I was invited onto television stations, I knew immediately, it's got to be called Jesus the Healer. Why? I paid attention to what God said to the man. God didn't have to say to me. I paid attention to the one God said it to. And that's where the name Jesus the Healer came from. A vision that God gave a man decades ago, before my husband and I met and married in 1984, right before we met, he was coming off of a commercial flight because he was in the traveling ministry at that time, traveling full time. He was exiting off the jetway. And as he was coming off of the jetway, God said to him, turn around. And he turned around. And when he did, he saw 100 angels behind him. Two rows, 50 in each row. They were paired up, walking, 50 rows, angels and God. And Ed said to God, he said, what are those angels? He said, I have just dispatched them to work with you in the healing ministry. They will bring body parts. They will adjust things. Are they the healer? No, they cooperate with healing power. Just like you had the pull at the man at the pool of Bethesda, an angel would come down and deposit enough healing power for one. So healing power is had in degree, in quantity, and there was enough for one. And so that angel cooperated with that power. And so I had forgotten. Ed would talk about him, and God told him, talk about to the people, those angels, because by talking about them, they'll work along with you. If you ignore them, if you do not give place to them and acknowledge their ministry, you hinder them from working. And so Ed would often talk about that. Sometimes you will feel maybe something in your spine. You might feel something of a body part moving. Don't get impressed with the angel. They're just ministering spirits, and they minister something good. So after Ed went home to be with the Lord, he went home In October of 2013, in February, five months later, in 2014, I was finishing up a series of meetings in one particular church in Oklahoma, and I got ready to close the last service of that series of meetings. And the word of the Lord came to me and said, when your husband came back to heaven, those 100 angels that worked with him in the healing ministry did not come back with him. Their ministry is in the earth. See, they don't need that in heaven. We need it on the earth. And then he said to me, 50 of those angels stayed with you. He said the other 50 were dispatched to. To different ministries that were spiritual sons to your father. To Ed, he was their spiritual father. And he named a few of them that those angels had been dispatched to. So does it matter who you're connected to? Because you don't even have to wait for them to die and leave for you to receive impartations that will further you. So he said to me, he said, 50 stayed with you. And he said, if you will be faithful with those 50. And I thought, how can I be faithful? How am I faithful with 50? In the next phrase, he answered the thought. He said, that is talk about them. If you will talk about them. It gives them permission. The more you talk about them, the more they have permission to work. The less you talk about them, the less permission they have to work with you. Amen. So that's why I tell you about it. Not because that makes anything of me. I'm making much of what God has done, has provided for the people. It's for you. Amen. Amen. And so I tell that because first of all, I want God to do more of it. I want God to do more of it. I make much of the anointing. I make much of the anointing. It's the anointing that destroys the yoke. It's the anointing that we're entrusted with. Amen. And people need to know it. Because there's people in here tonight that need that anointing. Amen. And I trust that in the telling of this that you recognize there's help for you in something that was said. You say, well, I didn't have that experience. No, but you can see the dealings of God with a man and learn some things because there's broad similarities in how God's going to deal with every man. Notice, when God was looking to anoint someone, they weren't sitting at home. The only ones that were ever healed at home under Jesus earthly ministry were dead people. Jairus daughter. Right. Because everybody else had to be out and moving. When God told Elijah to go anoint Elisha to be prophet in his room, he found him. Not in the house, he found him in the field with 12 yoke of oxen. That's 24 oxen under one man's command. He was a man of labor. He was a man that produced. And Elijah came out and threw his coat on him. You're not going to get anointed. You just riding around saying, I'm anointed. My husband did not look for a ministry. He looked for a place to serve Jesus. And it started in the toilet cleaning ministry. And if something's beneath you, if something's beneath you, you'll never reach promotion in the anointing. That's why the local church is the place you want to put your hand to, because you want to show God I'll be faithful with whatever's in front of me. I love something that Pastor Edwin said. They came and were with me on a. I did a five week European tour last year and I had them to minister in one of the minister's conferences. And when it came the time that this congregation needed a pastor and y' all had just started. It started out as a Bible study and he thought he would be traveling. And so when he taught in the Bible study and they asked him, we want you to stay, he said, no, you know, I'm a traveling minister. So he took it to God and God said, the problem with many of y' all is that you're too call conscious. I'm a prophet. Who cares? It's not so much the title, it's the function. And if you don't got the function, you don't got the title. That's right. And it's not about the title anyway. It's about if you're that just function, just be a blessing. Amen. Or I'm an apostle. Well, I want you to know no one's an apostle or a prophet till they've first been either an evangelist, a pastor, or a teacher. Because those other two higher offices are off limits to someone who won't be promoted through a different office. You don't when people say I'm a prophet. Not if you've not been a teacher, a pastor, or an evangelist. Yes. See, I just got a lot of people unconfused right there. If they listen. And you're not a prophet if you don't have a congregation that you're preaching to. And social media ain't it. That's not the congregation I'm talking about. Yeah, but when God was looking for a man to entrust with the healing, anointing, he went to the toilet cleaning ministry. And he watched his faithfulness there. Then he watched his faithfulness in promotion as a door greeter, as an usher. Then he watched his faithfulness to build that church for his pastor. You can't run around looking for a ministry. Run around looking to be a blessing. And God said to this pastor, he said to him, he said, the problem with so many is they're call conscious. Just do what's right in front of you. You know what's in front of you? The local church serving in the local church serving in the local. It's right there in front of you. Amen. Well, I don't feel called to do that. You know what you feel called to do, Pastor? What do you need me to do? That's what I feel called to do. What do you need me to do? Because selective serving is not serving. That's right. That's just wanting to be served. Yeah. Amen. A servant just serves. Praise the Lord. David, as a pianist, can't say, well, you know what, I'll only play these middle row, these middle keys, tops and bottom. No, I'm not reaching for them to. Then you're not a pianist. If you don't use the whole thing, you don't know what you're doing. Amen. Well, praise the Lord. Are you helped tonight? Hallelujah. Stand with me. Father, we thank you. We thank you. We thank you. Why do I tell that well? So that you'll receive of it. You say, well, I don't need healing tonight. No, but you needed to hear something of a moving of God in the life of a man. And you need to see what it looks like when that's carried on. You need to see it that my sons aren't saying, well, I want my own well, you do have your own. God is God. We know this. He's the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. God didn't do something different for Isaac and Jacob than he did for Abraham. The blessing of God was so big that one generation couldn't carry it all. The blessing of the vision is so large that one generation cannot complete that vision. It's got to be passed to the next and the next and the next. And what an honor. Amen. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Father, we thank you. Do you know, can I tell you something? There are a lot of people that would have liked to be in the room tonight to hear that there's a healing anointing, that there's help for their situation and we're getting to hear it. That needs to matter to us, that we're hearing about what God does in the lives of men. Amen. He meets men because he so longs to meet their needs. Father, we worship you. Just let's. Let's worship him together. Let's lift up our hands, lift up our voices. We thank you, Father. We glorify you. We magnify you. We thank you, Father. We glorify you. We glorify you. Can I say this? Plug into a church and be free, faithful. Just plug in and be faithful. Just plug in and be well. What about my ministry? Forget about your ministry. Forget about your ministry. If you're ministry minded, you Won't be very useful. Why? My ministry. My ministry. You know what ministry is? Blessing people. That's it. It's just blessing people. And I want you to know, pastors, and we have to remind ourselves the congregation is not here so I can fulfill my call. I'm here to bless the people. I'm operating my call to bless the people. They're not here facilitating my call. My call is facilitating them. Amen. So I'd say this don't float. Get plugged in and stay somewhere. Be faithful. Let God find you. Faithful. Because he has much work that he needs to have done. And he can't trust someone who isn't there. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Nobody's in trouble. Some of you just look so sad. But I love telling it. And. And I'm gonna keep telling it. And we'd go to a dad Hagen crusade. And if I didn't hear I was born again at 20 minutes till 8 in the south bedroom of 405 North College street in the city of McKinney, Texas. It's like you cheated us. Why didn't you tell us that? Why didn't you tell us that? Why didn't you tell us how you went down to hell three times? Why didn't you tell us that? Why? Because in his life, we heard answers for our life. Amen. Tell your story. Pastors, your congregation needs to know where God has brought you. Amen. So he'll know what God will do for them. Not so they'll be in awe with you, but so they'll know God will do that for your family. He'll do that for your children. God reached into the man who was born in a home of mental illness and alcoholism. And if you look at statistics, he was doomed to fail. But you look at God, and he rescues. And when I look at what my husband obeyed God in, I stand back. Yes, in awe of God. But blessed that my husband so loved God that he allowed him to rewrite the story of his life. And the ending was so much greater than the beginning, the of. Of it all. Amen. We trust you've enjoyed this message.
