Hi, I'm Nancy Dufresne. Welcome to our podcast channel. We know you'll be blessed by today's message. It's good to see everyone this morning. Amen. Aren't we so grateful to be able to be here and be together? It's good to be in the house of God, but it's good to serve in the house of God. Just being in the house of God isn't enough. There's service to be taken place. Amen. I love it. My niece asked me this morning. They came to the house and she said, are you. Because we're all getting ready and said, are you serving this morning? I said, I sure am. I sure am. And she said, all service? Yes, honey, all service. I will be serving. It's a blessing to come and to serve with our families. Amen. It's nice. I'm so grateful that with these meetings, I get to bring. We get to bring our children and have them here in learning jobs, and we get to bring other staff members and, of course, their children. So when you see the young ones running around, they have jobs to do, and we need them to learn it and learn it quick. How about that? So I love seeing my. My oldest son over there on the camera. He does not like people looking at him, so that's why I do that. He enjoys that. And of course, Ms. Chelsea's daughter up there on the camera and all the young ones, the. The young guys from Merced and the Jones boys. So we love coming and serving together. Serving and bringing you the word of God. Because one of the. The important things about these meetings that God put on Pastor Nancy's heart is again, that not everybody maybe can make it physically or financially to California. And so we take. And with the giving of our partners, and we pay quite a large expense to bring the team to get the message to the people that we can go to regions and parts of the United States that make it easier for the people with the need needs to come and be and have hands laid on them. They want to be touched. That's one thing that we find. People want to be touched. They want to have hands laid on them. They want to be ministered to. Their faith is really connected to that. And so it's not a diminishing. Of course, Pastor Nancy teaches you can receive anywhere. And we hear testimonies all the time. I'll share more this week about people who just in their home, on their couch, in their bed, got up and have received the healing power of God and been completely made whole There, that. That is not a dismissal of what God has done at home. But there are people that need to be in the presence of God, and we don't want to just expect them to come and be able to even physically make it to California. So we're. What we're doing is we're putting out with the expense to bring the message to the regions where people can easily travel and come and be a part of the services. And some people come a great distance. The woman, we were just telling the woman last night that got rid of her cane, she flew from California to be here. So if this is your backyard, don't let these meetings pass you by, because she certainly didn't. Amen. Don't sit idly by, casually by, observing and watching and waiting to see what happens. Be the participator that God is looking for you to be. Amen. Go with me, if you would, to Second Kings, chapter four. I go, of course, everyone that we're. We are all of so many ministers. We've. We've got a ministerial organization that Pastor Nancy oversees with about 200, I think close to 250 ministers now, something like that. And we all, with fear and trembling, go to Second Corinthians chapter 4. Because there is one woman who can take this passage and preach three hours a day, four days a week at our Bible school on this one passage. So we're going to go there reverently, Pastor Debbie, and you can clear up anything that you don't like, because this is Second Debbie, chapter four. She teaches this with. On the subject of honor, but I want to go a little bit different direction this morning. And this is the Shunammite woman, Second Kings, chapter four and verse eight. And it fell on a day that Elisha passed Shunam. And there was a great woman, and she constrained him to eat bread. And so it was that as oft as he passed by, he turned in thither to eat bread. And she said unto her husband, behold, now I perceive that this is a holy man of God, which path passeth by us continually. Let us make a little chamber, I pray thee, on the wall. And let us set for him there a bed, and a table, and a stool, and a candlestick. And it shall be when he cometh to us that he shall turn in thither. And it fell on that day that he came thither. And. And he turned into the chamber and lay there. And Gehazi, his servant, called this Shunammite. And when he had called her, she stood before him, and he said, Unto her, he say. Now unto her, behold, thou has been careful for us for all this care. He's saying, you've been so mindful of us. You have taken such good care of us. What is to be done for thee or for you? What is thou be spoken for to the king or to the captain of the host? And she answered, I dwell among mine own people. And he said, what then is to be done for her? And the. And Gehazi answered, verily, she hath no child, and her husband. Husband is old. He said, call her. Gehazi called her. And she stood in the doorway. That's what the Amplified said. So she didn't even come all the way in. She stood at the doorway of that room. And verse 16 in the amplified Classic says, elisha said, at this season, when the time comes round, you shall embrace a son. She said, no, my Lord, you, man of God, do not lie to your handmaid. But the woman conceived and bore a son at the season the following year, as Elisha said to her. And when the child had grown, he went out one day to his father with the reapers. And he said to his father, my head, my head. The man said to his servant, carry him to his mother. And when he was brought to his mother, he sat on her knees till noon and then died. I want to stop right there. There was something that the Holy Ghost said to me a few weeks ago that I had been meditating on a separate passage of Scripture, and it came up in my spirit. And I normally. I told Ms. Chelsea, I have a title for my sermon today, which I normally don't do. And it was so clear in my spirit what to minister on and the direction to meditate that I thought, surely this is a title my husband has used. He's the title man. I'm going. So I run into him in the office. I go, am I subconsciously making this up, or did you have a title of a sermon that was named this? And it's just like, coming up in my spirit. And he goes, no. I said, then don't you. Don't you take this. Don't you forget you ever heard. Forget you ever heard it. But the spirit of God said to me, make room for your miracle. Make room for your miracle. So I think the next two services, we're gonna focus on this and look at some passage of Scripture. But the Shunammite woman made not just room in her life, she made an actual room for her miracle. And we're going to look at the different ways that we can make room For a miracle. Because a miracle and doubt and unbelief cannot exist within the same person. A miracle cannot be received. When. When you're full, we're full. Our surroundings are full with other things, other distractions. So how do we make room for our miracle? I like what this woman, because she quite literally made a room. She thought she was just making a room for someone that she perceived to be a man of God. But what the man of God carried was the word of God and the power of God. And so how we tend to the word that's ministered to us, whether this week or every Sunday, you are deciding whether or not you're making room for your miracle. If you just see that you're making room for a man. If you're just making room for. How about this for meetings? Why? Because my pastor said we got to have these meetings and I got to serve and I got to be here. If you're just making room for, you know, time to come and just be present. So because you registered, then we won't receive all that God has. The miracle is able to manifest when room has been made for it. Amen. The miracle can manifest when room has been made for it. So she's thinking, I'm just going to honor this man of God, and even if I get one conversation out of it, she was hungry enough to create a room, to create a space, A nice, not just a very casual space. But if you do the research and we're not gonna go into all that, Pastor Debbie can do that at some other point. This was not just a meek room, you know, a little chintzy roll away bed. Okay? This is not a rollaway bed. This was not a futon that folded out into a queen that him and Gehazi could bunk up together. This was a nice room with nice amenities, with nice linens. Amen. She made a room fit for the miracle that was going to come out of the man of God. She made a home as he traveled for the man of God that was going to give her the greatest gift in her home. It matters what we make room for. It matters every Sunday what we're making room for. See, Sundays come and they pass us by, don't they? Every week, midweek and Sundays pass us by all the time. And when those midweek and those Sundays pass us by and we keep letting them pass us by without making room, we may make room with our time, but what about making room in here? We could be letting the very service pass us by every single week. Right? But instead make room right here that every Sunday, every midweek, that I'm coming. And I've got room made in my spirit, man. I've got room made right here to receive the miracle. If we treat every service, every casual midweek service, we treat it casually, what are we going to miss that contains our miracle? Amen. If you're a pastor, you have to teach your people this. This is not a routine. I'm not just passing by you each week. As a man of God, even these set of meetings, if you're watching and you say, I have plans to be, don't let meetings pass you by in a casual manner, because I'm here and I, I, you know, I love the music and I love Brother David, and I just want to see Pastor Nancy and know that her, you know, her jewelry is real in person. You know, I mean, what I mean, you'd be surprised the motive people have in coming or I've got to get my ministry card out or I need to network or I need to do this right. What happens is the miracle. Every day, every service is passing because the motive isn't pure. The miracle just passes on by. Amen. Make room for your miracle. She took action. When she recognized who had the word of God for the hour in her life, she took action. And this is a huge key for making room. Many people oftentimes, and like my husband says, I have to. This is what got my attention from the Holy Ghost, was I had to judge myself and make. Make sure there is no. With things we're believing for. You know, when you, you are doing something, maybe online or you've gone to a place and you've got to engage maybe with a, a computer or, you know, a bank or something. I'm trying to, to think how different, different ways this would be done. And then you, you're. You're clicking through things and then it says, no, no more action needed. You know what I'm talking about? Have you seen that? No more action needed or no action needed? The transaction went through, Right? No action needed. I always ask myself, lord, with this thing I'm believing for, is there no more action needed? Because if there is, then I have not made full room and full place for my miracle. So you have to ask yourself, and we judge ourselves, am I just trying to make room with my words? Because I know how to confess, because I know how to quote? Because it's easier to just go about my day and quote scripture and not make any room, not make any action? Right. So the most significant thing that he showed me with making room for your miracle is action, not just words, action. This is what she did. She didn't even ask for anything. She just made an action. She said, I perceive this is, and I'm gonna phrase it another way, I perceive that the word of God keeps passing me by. The word of God keeps passing through here. Why? Because the prophet was the word of God in that day. He was the one delivering the word in that day. For most, it's going to be the pastor, week in, week out, delivering that word. And then there's the supplement that you can be feeding on on a daily basis. Who is it that your pastor has put in front of you to feed on, to stir your faith? Make sure that you're not allowing time, as Pastor Nancy said last night, I believe it was last night or the night before. You have to give up fellowship with me. God said to be thinking about things. What happened? You're making room for thoughts that things are troubling you instead of making room for your miracle and the meditation of your miracle. But words are not enough. So we, we. I, I asked God, I, I judge myself. Okay, God, is there a place, is there more room in my day that I could be making room for you, for your miracle power, for your word? Amen. So she quite literally made a room. She took action when she recognized who had the word of God for the hour and for her life. What you've made room for today oftentimes decides what we actually have room for tomorrow. That means we want to show up and say, pastor, Pastor, this is what the report says. I gotta get to that miracle crusade. This is what the report says. But if we've not made any room for healing, any action of faith up until that point, I'm not saying you can't receive. I'm saying that it's much easier. It was much easier to her, for her to receive and believe the prophet when he, she had already made a room for him, made a place for him, and that anointing had been residing and she had chosen to receive of it up until that point. So when he said, what do you want? And she said, I wanted, you know, I don't have a child. That wasn't their first interaction, right? If you wait and let your first interaction of faith be when the bad report comes, if you finally show your face to your pastor, if you finally said, I need my pastor, I need my man of God, and that's. That comes at the point of needing a miracle. Have we or have we not waited too Long. And then at that point, we're scrambling, we're desperate for a miracle. We should never be desperate for a miracle. We should be confident for a miracle. There is a difference. We should be so confident that those who don't have the word of God, when they're desperate, we can get them their miracle. That is how the believer should be operating. So confident in the miracle working power. Because we've lived with it, we've made room for it, we've given place to it, we have fed it, taken care of it, nurtured it, drawn on it. That when the one who's desperate comes in, who has no hope and doesn't understand faith, we're confident. I know where your miracle is. I've made room for it and I'll draw it for you. This is what. Go into all the world and preach the gospel, lay hands on the sick and they shall recover. It's going to take making room, not just getting motivated, you know, on a Sunday and it fizzles out by Tuesday. Amen. Or we get stirred up in a miracle crusade and come three weeks from now, where's that miracle power? I remember it. I remember feeling that. I remember being at. That is not just because that miracle power is not just flowing just because Dufresne Ministries is here. It's because Dufresne Ministries and Impact Family Church made room for it. You can make room in your daily life for the same miracle working power. Jesus is with you, in you, walking with you. You are his body. You are every bit his voice in the earth. If we understood, only understood how much of Jesus we really are. Amen. So I'm interested in making room. Not just once a week, twice a week, or special meetings. So what we make room for today oftentimes decides what we actually have room for tomorrow. Notice he didn't just pass by one time. This was a progression where she kept noticing. You know, God doesn't always hold us. He's not a hard taskmaster in that he passed by one time. And if she didn't, oh my gosh, if I don't constrain this man right now, I'm gonna miss my. It wasn't like that. She just kept noticing. And it says she recognized, she recognized on him. And it wasn't with any kind of motive. She just said, I'm gonna make room for the Word in my home. Because I don't really see that anyone else is doing that. And I'd rather him not spend his money, you know, staying at the local inn, the local Pub, whatever. I've got the money, I've got the resources, I've got the time. I don't have a child. I'm going to make room for him in my home. But what she made room for one day turned around and gave her a divine miracle. So do you see how what we make room for today shows up not in one day, not in two days, not in three weeks. Sometimes it can be years later we realize what we made room for is producing not just one miracle, but many miracles. Amen. She made a place. This is what the Spirit of God said to me. She made a place for the Word of God to live with her. She made a place for the Word of God to live with her, not pass by her. Sundays, midweeks come and go, but it's what lives with you at home that will rescue you. It's what you live with at home that will rescue you. Are you letting those services pass you by? Are you taking home that which you have received and letting it live with you? Are you making room for the Word? Are you making room that when you leave this place, you are taking the revelation and the light that comes from that prophet's office and going, I must make room. It was uncomfortable. But I gotta make room for honor and reverence. I've got to make room. Now in my thought life, I was thinking wrong. I see that I've let my mind just go any which way it wants to go and think on any which thing. And I'm giving up and I'm sacrificing my time with God. I'm gonna make room. Making room sometimes comes with, I don't want to say difficult decisions, but it can come with some real life altering decisions. How about that? It can come with some life altering decisions, crossroads decisions. This woman, that's where she was. She was at a crossroads decision. Do I keep letting the Word keep going? Do I keep letting Do I just. Do I just appreciate he's passing through my town, our little community. He keeps going by my house. Isn't that wonderful? You know, hey, brother, good to see you again. Can you come lay hands? You know, just put your hands on me. She wasn't content with just moments of having hands laid on her as he passed by every week. How much do we rest on? You know, I'll just have my pastor. I'll just go have my pastor. But what were you meditating on? What were you making room for three days before that? To receive the miracle, you've got to have already made some room for it. In your thought life, in your action, in the day to day way that you, you conduct business. People, we want a financial miracle. But if you're holding onto your seed, then you don't even have room for a harvest. Make room. When God prompts you to give, what is he asking you to do? Make room for your miracle. Make room for your harvest. Not let me get that from you, but let's make a little more room, let's make a little more space in your life for some increase. And the only way I can do that is through what I establish on creation, seed, time and harvest. He's not going to violate his laws. He's not going to violate his word and give something you know and bring something that wasn't sown for. She said it, I believe it was last night. Everything you do is a seed. Everything you do is a seed. Because everything in this world is seed, time and harvest. Amen. Sow the seed and the time and the action of faith to make room for what God has already prepared for you. Amen. Her miracle. And this is important, her miracle. For her, in this instance, her miracle looked like a man. Not only that, he looked like a man walking. Just a man walking by. That's what they did. You know, they didn't have airplanes back then. So I don't dismiss how my man of God gets around. Because in that day it was walking. Jesus wanted the best donkey, right? Smith Wigglesworth wanted the best room on the ship, first class. And if my man of God wants an airplane to save her body, then I won't let offense go by me and I make room for it because I don't need what she needs. Because I don't see a significance to what she has and what she has need of. Whether that's your pastor and what they live in, what they drive. What are you letting pass by? You're letting off the offensive things pass you by and you're making room for it. Tell me how that plays out, let me know. Because I haven't ever seen it. I've never seen it play out well. When room is made for offense and then the miracle is needed, it's a lot harder to put down the offense and exchange it for a miracle in the time of need. So much more difficult. Why? Because she didn't let this man of God and say, well, why isn't Gehazi taking care of him? Why do I gotta do it? God, he's got an assistant. I mean think about it, what kind of lazy assistant does he have? God, why Do I have to do that? Why do I have to give that? Why do I have to make room for that? Why are you prompting me to do that? She didn't have that conversation. Yeah, I'm already cooking for one man. Now I gotta cook for three. My husband always says, I love it too. My daughter. He'll tell my turn to my daughter and say, where do women belong? She goes in the kitchen, don't get offended. Don't get offended. I'm up here. Do you see me up here? He always says, I can make all the comments I want. My wife is run by women. So we give him his moments. We let him have his moments. But she didn't get offended that she had to feed three more people. God, don't you know, my husband is older than me. He takes a little more tending to. And now you got two more men showing up that I gotta take care of. Change the sheets, wash them. You know, everything was extra work back then. She could have let offense pass her by and welcomed that into her house. But then what would have happened? Well, my pastor, he just, you know, why is he believing for a new house? The one he's got is good enough around here. What happened? That new car they got must be nice. Yeah, it is nice. It's real nice. And you should try it sometime. You should try to stretch your faith. You should try to reach for more. Because for us, if you are asking us to not believe for another airplane. I'm going to tell you something. I love something that brother Jesse said. He said my faith needs it. Why he is tapped out. The just shall live, live, live by faith. And if someone's faith needs a new car, needs to believe that whatever disease has been on, it doesn't matter. He's the same miracle working God that will fill all the pots of oil and will heal the leper at the same time. You want to cherry pick miracles and what you'll allow in people's lives. You are offended. You are offended. You're offended with someone else's faith who can reach for something that you can't see. You can't see it in here. You'll not see it here. Amen. You've made room for the wrong thing. And the devil will make sure it'll pass you right by again and again and again. And what thoughts you make room for. Trust me, God. The devil will see to it that others will be brought along your path who have the same room built in their house. And you'll just go back and forth to each other's. Rooms visiting. Oh, look at this offense you got in here. Let's compare notes. Yeah. You know what he said on Sunday? Yeah. You know what happened in the meetings. You know what she. I love what she said last night. Who wouldn't want any of this? Who wouldn't want this? Who wouldn't want to make room for a woman who flew all the way from California, originally from Peru, who wouldn't want to give, who wouldn't want to receive and draw on the anointing of God for her to fly out here with her two young boys to get her miracle. Amen. Make room. We're making room for miracles. Amen. Amen. She wouldn't let another moment pass her by. So we want to be mindful. And this is where the help of the Holy Ghost comes in, because he can show you. Don't copy how someone else made room. Always. Now, there's some basic principles. So let me. Let's look at those. There's some basic principles. Meditation on the Word always. Always. First and foremost, we're Word people. We're meditating daily on the Word of God, just muttering it to ourself, what it is that we're expecting. The things that God has done in the past for us, the things that we're expecting him to do in the future. Talk to yourself about those things. Things don't dwell on where you're at. Meditate and talk about where you're going. That is the wonderful thing about the Word of God. Have you ever noticed God always in His Word, was talking about and prophesying what was to come? That's faith. That's expectation. He believed, and he believed it so much he needed prophets to prophesy it out. He needed men and women of God to speak it out because he believed it. Someone had to speak it so later someone else could act it out. Amen. So we see that principle all through the Scripture. The Word of God going forth. The Word of God being continually spoken by men and women of God of what was to come. So we could say even that's one of the first instructions we have with making room for our miracle, is that we are continually feeding on the Word, speaking the Word, but. But the next thing, of course, would be acting on the Word, acting on the Word. And this is where the help of the Holy Ghost comes in. He helps us with each. Each of us to know what action is going to bless and make greatest room for our lives. So for this woman, it was to receive the man of God. Make a room. Not just Make. How about this? This is what I love. We don't fully know, but I can imagine with quite possibly because of the resources she had. Right, Pastor Debbie, that she probably didn't have. Again, don't know this for sure. Maybe you do. She didn't probably have just one bedroom in her house. I can't imagine. She just had one bedroom. What I love. This is what I love. She obeyed God and built another room. She didn't just go, I'm gonna take this room that I already got. This good enough. This good enough. She went out of her way and obeyed God and obeyed. How about this? She didn't just obey. She honored. She honored. Not looking for something. She honored and received a man of God in the Word and made room for a miracle. That's a huge key. She honored and received a man of God, and what she didn't know, it was making room for her miracle. Amen. How about this? It says she perceived. That is a huge key. First of all, you don't need to perceive that your pastor is your pastor. Okay? I don't perceive that. Well, if he planted you here, you don't need to perceive anything. How about that? Or wherever, whatever church you're from, you don't need a perception. I just don't. You don't perceive every week. This is my pastor. No, you say, this is my pastor. This is where I'm planted. This is my church family, and this is where I'm going to stay and my life is going to flourish. And when pressure comes, I don't need to perceive anything. I need to know something. That's all I. That's all I need. I need to know something. The reason she had to perceive is because they didn't have the. The structure like we do today. She didn't have the instruction on the local church, so it took her perceiving. But one of the things with perception is. Is within the teaching and preaching that comes to you every week, or within the teaching and preaching that's going to be here this week. Learn to perceive. What is God dealing with me about? Where have I taken up room? What's taken up residents that shouldn't be there? What do I need to clean out? What do I need to adjust with my time? What do I need to adjust with? Am I catering like my husband always says? Am I anticipating pain and symptoms and sickness and difficulty? What did I just get up and make room for? I made room for pain and sickness and symptoms and difficulty. Why? Because I perceive that tomorrow morning I'm going To wake up with that again. You know the saying, perception is everything. You know how you perceive something. People perceive things differently. This is why we must be full of the Word of God so our perceiver is not. The Holy Ghost works with the Word. So don't try. If you haven't been filled up with the Word of God and renewed your mind, mind, don't try to perceive something yet. Take time. Take time in the Word of God. Take time so that when you go to listen to your spirit, your mind is sound on the Word. Does that help? It's sound, it's stable. And the enemy cannot interject anything into your perceiver, right? Or a feeling that gets you off. And not only that. And when you're sound on the Word, you're not easily taken up with what someone else was instructed to do. That's what God told them. That's why we must not be critical and judged. Because you don't know. To play the Holy Ghost for other people is dangerous. Those that are called to certain ministry offices, the Holy Ghost is the Holy Ghost. And then those called to certain ministry offices are anointed to bring direction, to bring correction, to bring instruction. We honor that as well. But to play. I tell the. In the marriage and family class in the Bible school I teach, and I used to tell the congregation, especially to the women. Especially to the women. If you're the loudest voice in your household, then the Holy Ghost isn't. And you know what I mean by that. The nagging, the trying to direct, correct, do this, do that. I'm not talking about with your children. I'm talking about with your husband. Okay? Please don't get silent with your kids. Don't do that. You should be talking every day. And you don't need a perception or leading, right? To how about to speak or to act? I'll need a leading to act. When my kids misbehave, I will act. And they will respond correctly, right? So in the home, if you're the loudest voice, ladies, telling him, trying to tell him what to do, where to go, when he. Then the Holy Ghost is not. All he can hear is you. I need him to hear him. Does that make sense? I need him to hear the Holy Spirit, not just me. I'm not talking. I'm not silent in my home, trust me. But I'm talking about when there's. When there's big decisions, when there's things. I'm not talking about the daily life, you know, or discussing where you want to go eat dinner. I'm just saying in the major things, a lot of times we want to play the Holy Ghost for somebody. And if you're the loudest voice, then the Holy Ghost isn't. So if you'll just learn to keep quiet sometimes and make room for his voice, you'll be amazed at what he can move and do in your home, even with your grown children. Nagging grown children doesn't work. Doesn't work. You can instruct, you can direct, but sometimes out of fear, parents, out of fear. What are you. What are you doing? What are you doing? You know, I've seen it. Out of fear. They're just constantly on it. And the Holy Ghost has no room at all to deal with that child. To minister. Trying to take the voice of the pastor, trying to take the voice of the Holy Ghost, trying to take the voice of, you know, the father or the mother, just trying to be their. Their number one voice. You're not anointed for that. You're anointed to make room for the Holy Ghost to come in. How do you do that prayer? Praying in the Holy Ghost. Praise, Glorifying God. Getting up every day. Say the power of God. I love something Brother Copeland did in our church years ago. He said, you want to know how to get the power of God in your house? And he began to. He messed up his hair. He began to dance and sing and rejoice. He said, that's how you get the glory of God in your house. What is he saying? That's how you make room for the power of God to flow. Amen. Not by always this. Just getting up every day and making room for the spirit of God to move. And he will. If he moved for this woman, if he moved and got her a miracle child, don't you think that miracle power is going to be quick to show up in your household? I tell you what. God can turn a thing in one day. He can turn a household in one day. He can turn a marriage in one day. He can turn a business in one day. It takes one contract, one customer, one connection. And in one day, everything can turn. Go to your business and rejoice and praise and make room for your miracle. Amen. We trust you've enjoyed this message.
