Hello and welcome to the defrain Ministries Legacy Partner podcast. We are excited to share this update with you.
B
Welcome today to the Legacy Partner podcast. I'm with Steven and Morgan because they usually handle this. You are the ones that give the updates with the partners.
C
We usually do, that's correct.
B
But because we are now at a new year, we are wanting to give you an overview of our annual report. And normally we will print these out. Now, what we've also done, posting this on our website. And is there anywhere else? We're posting it just on the website they can go. But we wanted to verbally communicate it to them because we've also the last several years, we put it in a magazine, but we thought it more efficient to do it this way. Just more personal, right?
C
Yeah, I think so.
B
So I'm going to let Steven, we've got. First of all, before we get into some of the details of what has happened this year in the ministry, we want to share with you some of the giving that's taken place. I'm going to give you. And this is the giving combined with DeFresne Ministries as well as the church. So we're just glad to give these reports. Yeah.
C
So the total that we have given is $2,643,956. So that's. That's huge for us and that is huge. That's a blessing for a lot of people. Yes, but not just that. Your giving has been part of that as well. And.
B
And really this is part of our goal for the year. What are we giving? Not just what are we doing, but what are we giving?
C
Right, right.
B
And we were talking about it. Well, go ahead and share all of that and then we'll talk a little bit about the past history.
C
So basically, in 21, we. So. Right. Over a million. The next year, 1.3. 20. 23, we spent 1.8 24. Right. Over 2 mil 2 million. And right now 2.6 in our giving. Yeah. So over those years, an increase every year.
B
Yeah.
C
That we're able to grow.
D
I think here one of the important things to note, we'll give you statistics and percentages, but we especially the defrain family, defrain ministries and staff, we measure the growth by giving. Many measure growth by other numbers or influence or. Yes, you're on tv. Tv. And response from people. But at the end of the year, Pastor Nancy really emphasizes, did we not only surpass last year's giving, but it. She sees it as a reflection on where we're headed. So it's showing where we've been. But giving really shows you what. Where you're going. When you can look at the seed sown and the tithe. And then, of course, the offering, which is for us. Stephen's going to tell you far above what the tithe is.
B
Well, you know, the word says that they who water shall be watered.
D
Yes.
B
And I like something John Osteen used to say. Pastor John Osteen, he would say, God funds funders.
D
Yeah, that's good.
B
So we want to not just be funded, we want to fund.
D
Yes.
B
And so that we're able to do that is a blessing.
C
So over the last five years, we've given right over $9 million.
B
$9 million. Now, what we were talking about previously, before we just started coming on air with you, was that when Ed went home to be with the Lord, the income was a little under 900,000 a year. And then, of course, it just kept growing. That's been, what, 12 years ago or so? And so now we gave 2.6. And do you have there the percentage of the income that we gave? We tracked that as well. That's it. We gave. In the ministry, the church gave 30% of our income, and Defrain Ministries, we gave 34% of our income. So the tithe is 10%. So for the church, the church gave 20% in offerings, and the Defrain Ministries gave 24% in offerings. So, you know, there's a mindset to prosperity, and it's not just about getting your needs met. It's a mindset that I want to help someone else get their needs met. We have had, I believe it was one or two years ago, we were able to pay off someone else's church.
D
That's right.
B
And that's. That's part of what we want to do, is fund what other people are doing, because then it multiplies the fruit of where we go and where our partner's giving goes. Right?
A
That's right.
C
So do we want to name off who we're giving to on a monthly basis? Morgan, do you want to.
B
Go ahead.
D
We can name them where you can just say there's 22. She just made a statement about when we paid off the church, but something that stood out this year that we only touched on. I think the last podcast was when you went into the prisons, and that's on here. That was something new this year. Not new for you to preach.
B
No, I used to preach in the prisons years ago.
C
About the beds. Yeah.
D
That's what I want to spotlight.
B
When you.
D
When she went into the prisons. Of course she ministered. We've got. She was there with Mike Barber Ministries. This.
B
I'm just thankful he invited us.
D
Well, they filmed the services and it says over half a million prisoners across us will walk watch her four services over and over again. But there's a living room unit, the Estelle unit, with the living room sponsored by his ministry. They've done the floors, they've painted the walls.
B
I saw all that. It was amazing.
D
Yes. And I don't know if we've got footage of that, but he expressed to Pastor Nancy that the inmates, they basically get a thin palette, a bed for a bath.
B
It's like cloth with. It's not a full blown mattress at all. It's just a little bit of a stuffed. It's like a big pillowcase, and it's just stuffed with a little bit of something. It's not even a mattress. So that's their bedding. And so Mike Barber Ministries, when I went there, he showed us the unit where he sponsored. So what happens is the inmates gather. They have like a living room, so to speak, but it's got rows of benches, it's got television. He's stocked that with televisions, things they can watch. There's, I think, game, if I remember correctly, maybe some game areas so far as board games. I could be wrong on that. But there's just gathering places like a family would gather. So each unit has its own living space. And it's a sizable room, but I'm not overly large. So he took that. They redecorated the walls, the floors. I mean, it is like they did it in a cabin theme. So it was really, really. And he said, our next goal is we're wanting to buy them mattresses. And so we went in there before I even knew that. I took in a check for $50,000 to his ministry, and we had given before to him. And I'm not trying to tout the number. I wanted to show I did not know what the needs were because we gave that. And then he walked us through that unit, showed us the needs, and I said I would, you know, and then he said, they're wanting to so, you know, make mattresses available to these, these prisoners. And so he asked, would it be okay if we took a portion of that money? Because you can see how much. How much was that?
D
Approximately 15 to 20,000 to do that. But we gave 50.
B
So we gave 50s for him to allocate wherever he needed it.
D
So she brought. I like this because she brought the answer before she ever knew there was, there was a need that the ministry. You're giving what we've planned on giving and even then some. When God speaks to her, she went to go be a part of what he was doing. Speaking wise, just preaching. And we were able to help fund what God is doing there, even though that's not our ministry. And so that's exciting for your partnership to know that the seed that sows doesn't just touch what we're doing, it touches into. So those prisoners lives are touched by her ministry, touched by your giving, touched by. Of course in the future you're going to be going back.
B
Well, and the thing is his ministry helps rewrite the story of these people that are imprisoned.
D
Their families, not just those men, but their families.
B
The work that's done is just, it's just a great blessing to see it.
D
But it takes finances. So when you become a partner where we are taking every bit of your seed and we're looking at it not only for what we have need of, but knowing that so many others also we want to be funders. And you're a part of that. You're a funder. As a partner, you're a funder.
B
And their, their seed is going further than they even know is, is calling for that seed. Yeah.
C
So now we've had a partnership now we, we went from the first of 25. We, we were a hair over 3,000 partners now.
B
And what we call partners, Stephen, is very. Not just mailing list.
C
Right.
B
They really are actively giving every single month.
C
And we are just over 4,000 partners.
B
Yes.
C
At the end of 25.
B
Yeah.
C
So that's over a thousand more that have want to be part of what's.
B
Going on that they are sowing faithfully every month. I think maybe our partner guidelines are maybe more rigid than people would know because just contacting the ministry does not turn them into a partner.
C
That's correct. Or buying actively being part of.
D
We're not trying to inflate our partner number.
B
Well, it's legitimately that they have taken.
D
We are in partnership with these people.
B
People. Right. And, and we're in their heart and they're in our heart.
C
We've had 253 partners from different countries.
B
Wow, wow, wow, wow.
C
And we have, we're on 10 networks now across the world. Potential reach of 2 billion households.
B
Yes.
C
Social media.
B
2 billion households. Not just 2 billion people.
C
And you filmed 220 episodes last year.
B
Yeah.
C
And then now you've told of a total of 980 episodes.
B
Oh, I'm almost at a thousand.
C
Almost at a thousand. What are you gonna do when you go to a thousand?
B
Well, I'm. I'm gonna call you in the middle of the night and wake you up and tell you.
C
So. And then social media, over 10. A hundred thousand subscribers.
D
Yes.
B
And that's a big deal because YouTube itself.
C
Yep.
B
Acknowledges that. They sent us a. A plaque that states that we're at a hundred thousand subscribers.
C
Had almost 10 million views on all of the things on YouTube as well.
B
Now, this past year, Stephen, we posted a short. You know, in posting a short, it's like 30 seconds. Yes, is about 30 seconds. And that went viral in less than 24 hours. It had over a million views. So we've had a couple of those viral things, but yeah. Over 10 million views. Yeah.
C
On Instagram, we have over 7 million views there. And then we've had On Facebook, over 9 million across Facebook as well. So that's. That's moving along. Kids in Faith. Morgan, do you want to talk just a quick second about that? Do you have that in front of you?
D
Yeah, I mean, we do. I do. Kids in Faith. Just because, well, God said to do it.
B
And it started during the COVID season.
D
During COVID we took a long break, and then I kept trying to get Pastor Nancy to, like, write a children's book or do something because something was stirring.
B
Do something. Do something.
D
And she came to me and said, no, I think we're supposed to get that back going again.
B
No, in fact, you were talking about you wanted to do it on a regular basis and you'd kind of set it aside. And I had actually, a dream.
D
You did. I didn't know if we could put that out there.
B
Yeah, I had a dream, and I don't remember the exact details of it. I've written it down somewhere.
D
A minister came you and said, what are you going to do about the children? And you said, I knew what that meant. It was for the kids in Faith. But, you know, there was a testimony that just came in. There is a church that shows kids in Faith during one of their midweek services or, you know, weekly services. They bring in others that are qualified from other churches to watch the children so the whole church family can be together.
B
Nice.
D
Well, one of those that was there watching was someone who is more of a denominational background, a woman. She comes and helps with the kids every week. And she was watching Kids in Faith. And one of the episodes, and one of our emphasis really goes along with Jesus the healer. Jesus wants you Healed. That simple truth. When we say Jesus is the healer, we have heard that our whole lives.
B
But so many, it's an unheard of thing, right?
D
Because God puts sickness on you, or he may or may not want you here healed, or, you know, because I made this mistake or my family had this, I have to suffer with this. She heard over and over again. Jesus wanted her healed. And she came to someone that I knew that was part of that church and said with almost with tears in her eyes, having struggled with a physical condition for years that they couldn't cure, and was crying and said, I heard Jesus wants me healed. And it was in, I think a few weeks later that had sat with her and she began to meditate on that. An evangelist came into their church, came and laid hands on her, and she was instantly healed.
B
So he prepared the soil, he prepared her, she could receive that.
D
And so it's touching children. But we hear often from grandparents, you know, that have, maybe their children aren't serving God, but their grandchildren come over, they turn on kids in faith, and they have something to pour into their children and their grandchildren that is in step with Jesus the healer broadcast and what defrain Ministries is doing. It's not a separate teaching, a separate emphasis, a separate flow. And I get to do it with my children. And many of you contact us and you love bear, nanny cake, you know, the kids of World Harvest Church. And you feel very connected and your children feel really connected. And we, we find that when we go the miracle Crusades, part of what God put in my heart is that the children at these crusades and feel that they have a part and they know us. This isn't mom and Dad's meeting, and we're finding it's doing just that. They want to be in the meetings. They want to experience the power of God because kids in faith has bridged that gap.
B
Good, good, good. And the thing is, is that the word is for the whole family. It's not just for the adults. Right. And if you can get that word in children, they're going to, they're going to sidestep a lot of difficulties that we faced growing up. Absolutely.
D
We've seen an increase in the 126 people percent increase in viewership. Watch time has increased, and then 24% increase in subscribers. It doesn't look like much, but I know this, that we've talked about. The episodes are reaching. We've had people contact us and they're finding their way into children watching. My belief is that they would find their way into the, the. What do you call that? The algorithm of others that aren't connected to the ministry. So my faith has been on that there will be children maybe decades from now, maybe in heaven, that will find that these episodes reached their algorithm and touch them as an evangelistic way.
B
Well, and the thing about what y' all bring on that, that broadcast of kids in faith is it's, it's not babysitting truths. You know what I'm saying? You're really teaching these kids how to release their faith, how to receive from God. They're not treating them like the Word is above them, so just are babysitting them.
D
Right.
B
It's. It's really teaching. It's really, really teaching them. Then also this year, Stephen, you want to talk about this? We did a five week European.
C
Six week.
B
It's a five week. I was the one on it. That's the office they're talking about. Their extra week of work in our.
C
Canada office helped to fund that whole. And then we went to. You went to Russia. St. Petersburg. Then we met you in France. You did France. And then we took a train down to Nice and then we drove to Switzerland. That was interesting.
B
That was interesting.
C
I remember that there's no parking in Europe. If you ever go, there's no parking and they want money for everything. You go two miles an hour over, they're going to give you a ticket.
D
And we didn't have small vehicles.
B
No, we had. Picture that.
D
We had large. Two large vans.
C
And then we went to Zurich. You preached in Zurich. And then. How do you say it? Locks. Yeah, locks. And you did there for a pastor thing?
B
I did like 28 services, something like that. And then I filmed five television episodes. We were there with Rick and Denise Renner. My goodness, what a sweet couple they are.
D
Those were great services.
B
They were. They were refreshing. And we fell in love with that whole tour. I mean, it was really the tour of a lifetime. And the pastors were so that we got to spend time with so, so precious.
D
You hadn't seen the Kotovs in quite some time. So getting back with them there in St. Petersburg, if you've been a partner for any length of time, you know, St. Petersburg is a very special.
B
It's a hub for us in Russia. The price of the double portion anointing, that's where Jesus spoke to me every time I'd go to their church. Jesus speaks to me over there.
C
And then Morgan went back to France just a couple, about a month and a half ago. And then to Ireland to Meet some. Some.
B
We got to give a call out to Norm and Mary Totten. They are.
D
They're well. And really, we found out what they're doing with your books, which I love because I love her books. And we're. We're gonna get those overseas even more. That's a goal.
B
That's. That's coming up this year.
D
But they take Pastor Nancy's books all over Ireland.
B
First of all, they were contacting us and purchasing them.
D
Buying them.
B
And then they were sewing them.
D
Yes.
B
And taking them to different places.
D
They just take and give them, and they put them in denominational church bookstores because they kind of run things different. You can just put a book in the bookstore especially.
B
They're like a library.
D
Yes. And they. They have a precious book Presbyterian Church that they go to every Sunday because there's no faith church there. But they watch all of our services, all of Eagle Mountain. They watch every service where we go and where she preaches and where I preach and where he preaches. And they're so connected with the vision that they began to take her books and put them. And they send them to their Northern Ireland. They send them into the Republic. They send them all through Northern Ireland. They're touching Ireland. I just can't wait to hear the testimonies one day, those finding your books.
B
Well, when we found out that they were buying them to do that, we go, oh, no, we're sowing. Because that's a ministry. Such a valid part. It's really a part of a ministry of a true partner. Right.
D
It's a true partnership. And they have said, surprisingly, that book, Victory over Grief and Sorrow, is something that their nation needs. After all, even in the recent history of what Ireland, Northern Ireland especially, has been through, they said the people here need victory over grief and sorrow. And with what they've been through and suffered through, and they've grabbed hold of it, and it's real to them, and they preach it everywhere they go.
B
Isn't that wonderful?
D
So.
B
And I love listening to them. Oh, they're.
D
They're the true Northern Ireland accent. You have to listen close.
B
They're yummy.
D
And they. I told them, is like being back with my grandparents, getting another day with family. It felt like being with family. And so we appreciate their. How they've taken their partnership so seriously. It's so near and dear.
B
Well, and they just see themselves as also an extension by.
D
Of us.
B
Of us, by taking those materials. And we. My goodness, we appreciate that.
D
So. So Europe is. Is just getting started, and we've got some.
B
Something in the works for this year, maybe over in Europe. So of a. Of a miracle crusade. So we'll update them later on that. But that began because of our tour and it was a great, great tour. Loved, loved, loved it. Then we here in the United States, of course, what we do is we have five conferences that are based here in Murrieta, California, out of our local church, World Harvest Church. And then we do anywhere from three to four miracle crus saints a year. So this past year we did our five conferences. Our five conferences are our Holy Ghost meetings, which are coming up in about a week or so. Then we have our prayer conference, camp meeting, ladies conference and ministers conference. Those are set every year. And then miracle crusades. You want to talk about the one in High Springs real quickly? That we did?
D
That was.
B
That's your hometown.
D
That was my hometown home church. But I tell you, people came from all over the Southeast and especially, especially there's something about the state of Florida. And they came and they were ready. I loved watching David there because he said they were ready to pray.
B
There's almost. There's like a revival of spirit of revival down in that region, truly.
D
And we, we packed it out. It was a great meeting. The, the unction was good, the revelation that you taught. And we got a lot of, actually a lot of testimonies from that particular miracle crusade healing. Stephen really talked about believing for your children. We, God seemed to emphasize that in whatever, if they were born with a condition that they say is incurable, that we need to start contending with our faith for healing for and that our children are not going to be stuck in a system that the world has saying this is how they have to be and this is how they have to kind of exist in this world, but that they can be completely made whole. So that meeting had some real, some. Some real excitement with it because that region, like you said, there is a hunger and they're willing to go with it. Just what God is doing. You can tell that that region, they want to go with what God's doing in this.
B
So we're looking at possibly going there again this year. And we, we have confirmed for this year already Paducah, Kentucky. We've. We've held meetings there with Pastor Chris and Amber Cody since the beginning of our miracle crusade. So again, they're going to be hosting that this year. And then we have Collinsville, Oklahoma, with Chip and Chip. Chip Brim. Chip and Candace Brim. They opened it up for us to come there and, and so that is also forecasted for this year.
D
I tell Steven, those are yalls people.
B
Listen where you're from. From where you're from from.
D
Yeah, it's a great meeting there.
B
Uh huh. And then we have. Oh wow. So many publications that have gone out. We have in audio downloads because people can download the audio teaching. Listen to this. An increase of audio sales. 232% of increase of sales of that what that means when we talk about increase of sales we're talking about the increase of the word going out. That's why we're so excited about that. And then digital downloads, 189.9% increase of that. And then we've had eight new CD series released. We had new merchandise has been released. We're printing more books in English. We've got, you know, more to come. So.
D
And more merch. Thanks to Grant the mer. I think our ministry's merch is torn a little bit and if you think otherwise, you know, find somebody else. I think our merch because it not only represents you and the ministry but it's so creative, it's so current. Grant keeps it just where everybody. We're always selling out.
B
Well our merch has on it Jesus the Healer, which is not the name of the ministry, it's the message of the ministry. And that's why it keeps it fresh, it keeps it current to where people, you know, it's great when people support the ministries they, they love and it might have a ministry name which is great. But I think so many are drawn to our merch because it's a message on there. It's Jesus the Healer. We walk through airports. Have you ever had this, Stephen? Well, I don't know that you have been in the airports with us when we've worn the merch and somebody will come up and they'll say he sure is. And they'll just walk by and say he sure is. And you go what's that about? And then you remember, oh, on the back of my sweatshirt it says Jesus the healer. So we always have to be mindful when we're wearing it because we get call outs from the public about that. So look at this Stephen. You can share with that. This is such an important part of the ministry.
C
Yeah. So the prayer center, you can call us, you know and we've had. We've a total increase. Excuse me. We've had over 9000 of y' all call this year. Yeah, this past year and 25 and prayer request for. For via like e email and things over 3,000.
B
Yeah. So, yeah, so that's over 12,000 contacts of people wanting to be prayed with. So we have a prayer call center and that's manned by trained staff and they love. We have the people in there that absolutely love it and we love hearing from them. And so many miracles. They get reports and then sometimes people will call the prayer center and prayer call center and then they, they come to a miracle crusade or something. They say, I'm the person that's been calling, you know. And so, so our staff gets to meet them sometimes. So we invite people when they. That's what partnership is for. When you hit a place and you need to borrow someone's faith. That's what we want to, we want to be a part of that.
C
Well, I think that's about it. We have a couple things, but that, that's about it.
B
Yeah, yeah, we've, we've. The, the Bible school is increasing. We launched the worship, the, the World Harvest school of worship. And so a lot of things on. And we got some things on the burners for this year, don't we, Steve?
C
Yeah. So your guys money is working hard and going places that it needs to go to be a blessing.
B
Yes.
C
And boy, we go through it with a fine comb to make sure there's no waste in this thing. So we, we clean it up, you know, because we don't believe in waste. Wait, tell them you're saying, oh, my new saying. Yeah. Never cheap, never wasteful.
B
Never cheap, Never wasteful.
C
Yeah, that's good because you don't want to be cheap, but you don't want to be wasteful because cheap junk you got to buy again.
B
It's like, it's like what? Buy nice or buy twice?
C
Yeah, I mean, I got a belt I bought over 20 years ago.
B
I still got it and it still.
C
Looks nice, you know? Yeah.
B
So we want to do it.
C
Never cheat, but we're not wasting.
B
Want to do it right the first time. Right. And so we did. We're just so thankful for our partners. And so before we, before we leave you today, Stephen, why don't you pray 2026 New Year. Pray for our partners.
C
Father, I thank you, Jesus, for everything you've done and everything that you're going to do. Father and I lift up our wonderful partners before you. And I say that they are healed from the top of their head to the soles of their feet. And we say that, that they are prosperous and they are extreme, excelling in every way in Jesus mighty name.
B
Amen. Amen.
D
Well, God bless you. We'll see you soon.
B
See you next time. Bye. Bye.
