Hi, I'm Nancy Dufresne. Welcome to our podcast channel. We know you'll be blessed by today's message.
B
I just have some things on my heart that I just want to refresh us on, and even myself, because there's some things that always have to be refreshed and reminded of. So if you have your Bibles, head over to Jeremiah 3:15.
C
Hallelujah.
B
You know, something that we all need in our life, something that is vital to our success, something that we desperately need is a pastor. And how important that role should be in your life. It shouldn't be optional, but we need that voice in our life. Your pastor is a gift, and that gift is to help you. It's to benefit and make our lives what God authored them to be. It's someone to be accountable to a person, an actual physical person that we can see, someone that is there to protect us. And something we need to remember is our pastor is a gift from God.
C
Hallelujah.
B
We need a pastor. Everybody needs that voice in their life.
C
Hallelujah.
B
So in Jeremiah 3:15, it says, and I will give you pastors according to my heart, which shall feed you with the knowledge and understanding. You know, you may say, I don't have a pastor that I could say is my pastor. Maybe you're new here. A lot of us, we know who our pastor is. But you may be saying, who is my pastor? Well, first of all, we all need one. God has anointed apostles, prophets, teachers, shepherds, and it's for us. It's for the people. You may say, how do I know who my pastor is? Well, who feeds you spiritually? Spiritual food? You may say, you know, I'm looking for a church. I'm here at this church. I feel like I'm learning a lot. I feel like there's something different about this place. You know, a lot of us have. We know in our heart. Maybe God spoke it to you. This is your pastor. This is where you belong, and you feel that. But you may say, I want that. Well, where are you fed? Where are you fed spiritually?
C
Hallelujah.
B
And it's so important that we realize if I'm being fed here, maybe this is where I'm supposed to be. Are you here this morning? I know I can't see everybody, but are you here this morning?
C
Hallelujah.
B
I know this isn't a run around the park kind of sermon, but it's life or death what church we go to. I said, it's life or death what church we go to. And I know a lot of you can testify. You know for a fact it is life or death. What church you go to.
C
Hallelujah.
B
Where are you fed? I said, where are you fed?
C
Hallelujah.
B
We need to make sure we protect that role in our life. It's so important that we nurture that role in our life.
C
Hallelujah.
B
That role of the pastor, it's for us, the shepherd of our life, somebody that keeps us in check, somebody that is ordained to talk to us through God. Through them, God can talk to us. Amen. God has anointed pastors to impart into your life. And if you're not present under a pastor, submitted under a pastor, that anointing that is on them, that is for you, you're going to be missing out on some things. I said you're going to be missing out on some things that belong to you. Pastors are anointed to do what they do for you.
C
Hallelujah.
B
They're there to keep you in check. We have all come to church with things out of order in our life today. You may say, brother Grant, there's some things in my life, things are out of order right now. Things don't look the way they should. Well, you're in the right place. I said you're in the right place.
C
Hallelujah.
B
A pastor is there to feed us. And when we're. It's so important that we protect the place we're fed because there's going to be an opportunity to get offended with your pastor. There's going to be an opportunity to back up where you're supposed to be planted. But just remember, they're anointed to. To minister and help you. They're anointed to bring something into your life. So if you don't want what's anointed to be for you, that's your choice and that's what you'll be missing out on. But just remember, God loves you so much that he would put a person in your life that is anointed to be a shepherd over your life to keep you in check, that when you're present. I've experienced this. My mom definitely taught me about this. But when somebody is physically present, you can see their face. God will begin to lead me. Pastor Nancy, Pastor Morgan. Maybe to adjust something that we're talking. I don't always. I don't know everything that's going on in Yalls life. I don't know everybody's situation, but he does. And we're anointed. Pastor Nancy. Pastor Morgan. They're anointed to be that voice in your life, that answer that you need. I said, that answer that you need. And they're anointed to do that. So it's so important that we remember when we're missing out on where we're supposed to be, we're missing out on that anointing. That's for us. You know, we're never to come to church. We should never have this attitude of people who come to church should have everything together, have everything in order. No, no, no, no. We're here to adjust ourselves. We're here to grow. We're here to look different than it did last year. We're here to look different. We're here to develop ourselves. Amen. We're here because we want to grow. We want to grow in God. We want to grow into the person he's called us to be, who we are in Christ. We're a new creature in Christ. But we need a pastor. And, you know, it's not about a man. It's not about a person. It's not about the pastor themself, but it's about their voice of God in your life to minister to you. It's about God. It's a divine connection. Did you get that? Your pastor is a divine connection. And they're anointed to help you. Your pastor's never there to. We're never here to do any harm, but we're here to do what God called us to do, and that's to be a voice for him.
C
Hallelujah.
B
So, Pastor Nancy, Pastor Morgan, they're anointed to help you.
C
Hallelujah.
B
And they're anointed to feed you.
C
Hallelujah.
B
Aren't you glad you go to a Holy Ghost church?
C
Hallelujah.
B
Where the Holy Ghost. I always say this when I come to service. Thank you, Father, for boldness and utterance. This is your service. I'm just a vessel. Use me. Use me for your use. I'm not here to promote me. I'm not the first one to be in front of people. That's not my comfortable place, but I remember. It's not about me. It's not about me. What am I anointed to do? What am I anointed to bring? What's my supply? Amen.
C
Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
B
He's good, isn't he? Isn't he? He's thought it out. Do you understand what I mean by and I say that he's thought it out. He knows. He knows what we need. Amen so if you're asking yourself, where do I belong? Well, first of all, you belong in a church. The church was founded and established by Jesus for you, for the people. It's for you to partake of. You belong in the body of Christ. You belong in a church. You belong. You are meant to be under a pastor. Everybody needs that role in their life. Amen. Brother Hagin was my mom's pastor, that she considered him her pastor. Everybody, even Pastor Nancy, needs a spiritual covering. Do you understand what I'm saying? You know, in the natural, there's mentors, there's people that give advice, but those never take the place of a spiritual, divine connection. Do you understand what I'm saying? Someone who is anointed by God to minister to your life.
C
Hallelujah.
B
He loves us that much that he would call somebody. Anoint somebody. Anoint prophets, evangelists, teachers, shepherds for us. That's his compassion and love for us. Amen.
C
Hallelujah.
B
The pastor is anointed to bring order into your life. Like I said, it's not about the man, but it's about the vessel. They're the vessel that God is using to minister and bring order to your life. Let me say that again. The anointing on the pastor brings order to your life. Because as they minister, as they minister under the power of God, the anointing of God, the grace of God, God will begin to talk to you specifically. So don't ever rule out a sermon. May not be for me. You know, sometimes we think we need this answer. This is the answer, and this is where it's going to come from. And this is what it seems like my problem is rooted in. But maybe your pastor starts talking about offense and you go, hmm, don't rule out any sermon, because where you're missing it may be somewhere else. And that's something only a pastor anointed to be in your life could do. God knows your heart. He knows where you need help. He knows how to minister to you. He knows you. He knows you. And don't get a preconceived idea that I need this answer. And that's not pertaining to me. So I'll wait. Maybe she'll start talking about this topic. Well, maybe the Holy Ghost knows really where the problem lies. Maybe you're a. I'm just using an example. Maybe you're offended. Maybe you're. There's a lot of blank places. You can fill in the blanks. There's a lot of different scenarios. So keep your heart open. Because, like, I said your pastor is anointed to bring order into your life. Amen. Your pastor is your safety. When we have a spiritual covering, we're safe. You know, you can cut off that spiritual covering, but that's up to you. When God has put a pastor in your life, you need to protect that and remember they're your safety. And, you know, a lot of times we have to remember man is not perfect. And sometimes you're gonna have to put the natural aside and say the anointing is on them to help me. And the things that may not agree with or may not fit me perfectly in the natural. You know what I'm talking about? Something that just maybe you didn't like. You know, there's sometimes people, people in your house, people you work with, somebody's always going to rub you a little wrong way, right? But when someone is anointed to be in your life, to be a voice in your life that's worth protecting and that's something worth overlooking. Because if their heart's right and they're fulfilling the will of God and the role of they need to be in your life, it's time to overlook that. Because your pastors have overlooked a lot in our lives, in your life. I know. That's true for me, too. I'm shocked my mom didn't fire me a few times. But thank God for the love of God in our pastors specifically. I mean, they love this church. They love the people in this church. And we want people to come here and experience that love. It's the love of God. I said your pastor is manifested love because they're there to bring order into your life, bring answers into your life, bring manifested love into your life. That is to be like Christ. That is manifested love. That is his love for you, that he would bring a person into your life to minister to you and to help you. Amen. So don't ever neglect or think less of what the pastor's role is in your life. It's important. I said the role of the pastor in your life, it's important. And, you know, like I said, it's not about the man. We can talk to God all the time. We're to have a relationship. He wants a relationship with us. He's our fellowship. But I love something Pastor J eberly said one time. He said God spoke to him and said, there are some things because Pastor Nancy is his pastor. There are some things that I am going to speak to your pastor that I'm not going to speak to you because I Want you to listen. I want you to listen because there's something she has for you that I want into your hands, that I want to get into you. I love that. Because why would he give us a pastor if there. Why would he. Why would he want to give us a pastor if there wasn't something they had for us that we need? There are some things that God may talk through your pastor about that maybe you were shut off to. Maybe. I mean, like I said, you know, my mom will start operating in the gifts. She'll start speaking sicknesses. She'll start calling out things by the spirit. And sometimes if, you know, if you weren't available, if you weren't present, maybe that wouldn't have happened. I mean, I know a lot of us have experienced her operating in the gifts, but there are some things I believe that are only going to be spoken through your pastor. And that's a great. That's a wonderful thing. That's a beautiful thing. That's awesome. Because we have a pastor.
C
Hallelujah.
B
And they're there to feed us. Amen.
C
Hallelujah.
B
And like I said, we all have something that's out of order. Order. But thank God for a spiritual covering like our pastor to help us get things in order. In Ezekiel 34, 6, it says, My sheep wander through the mountains and upon every high hill. Yes, my sheep were scattered upon all the face of the earth, and no one searched or sought them. Therefore, you are spiritual shepherds and hear the word of the Lord. You know, without a pastor, we're scattered. We're scattered. And the word of God is telling us, without a shepherd, we're scattered. It says spiritual shepherds, spiritual shepherds. Our pastor is that spiritual voice we need. That spiritual covering. We need. And it's to be protected. I said it's to be protected. That if some. If somebody started to be critical of your pastor, you would step up and say, I will not cut off the help that I need because of your bad attitude, because of your offense. We need to have that protection where we can say, you know, I'm not doing that. I know that divine connection. God put that in my life for me, and I am going to protect it, protect it with all that's in me. Protect where God has planted me, where God has put me. It's a lifesaver. Amen.
C
Hallelujah.
B
Let's go over to. Let me see here. Let's go to Isaiah 10:27. Like I've been saying, your pastor is anointed to help you. They're anointed to do that. And that anointing is for you. Isaiah 10:27. And shall come to pass in that day that his burden shall be taken away from thy shoulder and his yoke from thy neck, and that the yoke shall destroy. Because what of the anointing? The anointing destroys every yoke. Your pastor is anointed to help you. And that anointing is there to destroy yokes in your life, something that's been tripping you up your whole life. The anointing is more than enough to turn that around. The anointing destroys every yoke in your life. I said every yoke in your life. And your pastor is anointed to minister to you. He's. They're anointed to help you. They're anointed to minister something that no one else could because God put you there. And God is speaking to you through your pastor. And you need that help. You need that clarity. You need that direction. You need that safety net. You need that. You need that Hallelujah. Glory to God. Aren't you glad that the anointing is there to minister to you?
C
Hallelujah.
B
As you're sitting here right now, that anointing is going in, it's adjusting things, it's destroying yokes. Just remember that that power is here, available, present for you to partake of.
C
Hallelujah.
B
And as you go into your week, you take that power that you received and you minister to other people. What you've taken, what you've. What's been imparted to you. You're taking that to this community. You're taking that to this world, and you're bringing something.
C
Hallelujah.
B
You're showing. You're showing an ex in an example of God's power and God's love. People need that.
C
Hallelujah.
B
People need a pastor. If the word of God says you need it, it is. It's so you need it. Amen. And like I said, the pastor is anointed to. To minister to you. And then their anointing is for you to partake of. It's for you to partake of.
C
Hallelujah.
B
God called them so that you could partake of it. You know, something like I said, we come to church and there's things that are out of order. Something that's out of order is prioritizing other things over your local church, prioritizing other relationships than your pastors, that you see them as just somebody that you go to listen to at church. You need to prioritize that role in your life. It's vital. Like I said, they're anointed to help you. They're anointed to do that. So you need that. Just like, you know, like for an example, an Amazon fulfillment shipping center, whatever. There's an order there. The product's taken out of inventory. It's put on the. It's put into the box, it's labeled with the address. It's mailed out. But. And then the product's delivered. That's the process. There's an order. But if you're. But if things are out of order in that system, someone may get an empty box, somebody that didn't order it may get that product. There is an order to get a result. If the pastor is out of order in your life, the result you're looking for, the answer you're looking for, may not come to you. What's the order? My pastor and their voice in my life is number one, because God has anointed them and God is speaking to me through them. And I will not prioritize any job, any relationship, any other activity over my local church that I'm called to be in because I need the help that they have. I need that. You know, it says here, spiritual shepherds hear the word of the Lord. You know, I've seen my mom for hours. Spend time with God in the Word. You know, I'll say, where's Ma? Oh, she's in the room. Oh, I know what she's doing. I already know. She is investing her own time with the Father in His Word, in fellowship with him to bring something. She's taking that time to. To hear the word of the Lord that you need. That's what your pastors are doing for you. And it's important that we're present to receive what they get for us as they develop their relationship with God, as they take time to fellowship with the Father. It's for our benefit. It said, therefore, you spiritual shepherds, hear the word of the Lord. Your pastor is hearing the word of the Lord, and it's for you to partake of. Amen. Amen. Which leads me to that point. There are things that maybe God will only speak to your pastor through your pastor, for you to hear because of that time they're spending with the Father. There may be some things that only you'll get and you'll know or hear through your pastor. Amen. Why don't you turn into your bibles to Matthew 9:36. Are you being helped this morning? Man? I tell you what you know you know, my. You know, my mom is my pastor, and there is a distinct difference there, even though she's my mom. So just because she's a person doesn't change that role. She is to me, and it shouldn't change that role. She's to you guys. You know, she is Pastor Morgan. They are. They are to bring something to our life. Amen.
C
Hallelujah.
B
Matthew 9:36. But when he saw the multitudes, he was moved with compassion. Now this is Jesus moved with compassion on them because they fainted. They were scattered abroad as sheep, having no shepherd. Then saith he unto his disciples, the harvest truly is plenteous, but the laborers are few. He needed help to reach the multitudes. Jesus was a person. He was one person. And he could see that the multitudes are growing so much that they were fainting. They needed voice. They needed a pastor. Jesus needed help. Your pastor is there to accomplish and help what Jesus is trying to accomplish in your life. Amen. Do you understand what I'm saying? That Jesus himself is anointing a pastor to be in your life so you're not fainted, so you're not scattered. Jesus himself has anointed pastors to be in your life. So you have direction, so you have somebody that is a spiritual covering helping you out. Amen. Isn't that a wonderful thing? And it says he was moved with compassion. Your pastor is an example of God's love for you. You need to see that as my pastor and who they are to me, that is Jesus. That's him showing his love for me, that he would call somebody to be that voice in my life.
C
Hallelujah.
B
That is something to cherish and protect. That is a gift from heaven that he would ordain a pastor to help you.
C
Hallelujah.
B
And it's like I've been saying, I want to emphasize this. It's not about a man, it's not about a person. But it's about the anointing. I said it's about the anointing. You succeed, they're there to deliver the power and the answers that you need.
C
Hallelujah.
B
On a weekly, in a midweek, I mean, we have services weekly that manifested love is here to minister to you that Jesus would ordain somebody to show his love and says he was moved by compassion on them. Amen. Your pastor is there because of the compassion of Jesus Christ.
C
Hallelujah.
B
That is something to protect. Do you understand what I'm saying? That is something to cherish. You know, this year has really, you know, the devil would love to divide up what has been ordained by God. You know, the church, the word church, it's a place, it's a congregation of people. It's a gathering of people. So to be part of a church is to be gathered together. And the enemy would love to disrupt that gathering. And there was a season where we couldn't. But it's important that we remember that to be the church, we have to be together. There's going to be a time where that's unacceptable. We have to say, how true is that to me? Am I ten step? Am I on the line of when it comes to what we're allowed to do or am I 10 steps behind? We need to make sure we're prioritizing that role in our life no matter what is going on in the world. What is true to you? You know what I'm saying? The devil would love to disconnect you from your pastor. He would love for you to never come back. And we need to see our pastor and being there, present in front of them. Like Paul said, I long to see you that I may impart a spiritual blessing that I may impart. Do not neglect the assembly together. Don't neglect it. That's scriptural. And just because the world is not following the scripture doesn't make it any less true. What's more true in your life, the world will tell you to not live by the word of God. So if you're looking to the world to give you acceptance and an okay button, listen, we're doing our best here to cooperate with what we can do. You know, we could be in the building with all the restrictions and hundred people per service, but we want everybody to come that can. Since we can be here safely outside, we need to be on that line. I want to be where I can be. I want to be on the forefront. I want to be there right when it opens. I'm the first one there because my connection, my divine connection is important to me. It's more important than a regulation. It's more important than a disease. It's more important than a scenario. It is more important than any of those things because the anointing destroys every yoke. Whether the world gives the thumbs up or not, it doesn't matter. You don't need approval from the world. If you're waiting for circumstances to give you an okay to come back to church, you won't ever come back to church. They'll never give you a reason to go back to church. And if the church doesn't Fight to protect it. The world's not gonna do it.
C
Hallelujah.
B
But there's gonna be a time where you say, you know what? My pastor and being there for my pastor and the compassion that Jesus would have, that he would put that person in my life for me, that's important to me. I'm not gonna let that go. I'm gonna nurture and protect that relationship. I'm not gon.
C
Hallelujah.
B
Your pastor has manifested love for you. God is speaking through your pastor to.
C
You, to help you. Hallelujah.
B
Glory to God. So it's so important I can't emphasize this enough to protect the role of the pastor in your life. Hallelujah. Where would we be? Let me tell you where would we be if we didn't have a pastor, if we didn't have a local church, where would we be? I know a lot of us, our lives are different because of this place, specifically. Our lives look different. Our lives turned out to be a lot better than they would have been without this place. Because of the anointing that's on this place. Because God called us to be here. He's called us to be a united body. He's called us to be the body of Christ. We cannot be divided. We have to be united as a body. We have to be. We have to be. Do you understand what I'm saying?
C
Hallelujah.
B
Glory to God. Are you being held this morning? Glory to God. Aren't you thankful? Aren't you thankful for the rescue the pastor has in your life that you can go to them and say, pastor, I need help. You know, my mom always says. She, you know, she. Pastor Morgan primarily pastors this church now, but my mom and I know Morgan does, too. But my mom would always say, I counsel by the spirit. That's not common people that you can go to any church and they counsel by the Spirit. That's something to cherish and to protect that God has brought you into a place that is completely ran and governed by the spirit of God. You're safe here. I said you're safe. In a church that prioritizes the spirit. I always say, father, this is your service. Have your way, Holy Spirit, whichever way you want to go, whatever you want to do to help the people, I'm going with it. It's not by my power, but it's your power, you know. Happy Caldwell, minister. No, excuse me, is Pat Harrison ministered to me, and she said, every time you go to do something that you're called to do, you know, you're fulfilling the call in your life, just say this. It's the anointing. I'm anointed to do what I'm called to do.
C
Hallelujah.
B
I'm anointed to do it. We need the anointing, and we need the anointing that's on our pastor to help us fulfill what we're called to do. I could not. I could go down the list of things I could not do without a spiritual covering in my life. We need that. Amen. Are you helped this morning? I said, are you helped this morning? Isn't he good? Isn't he good? I'm so grateful for my pastor. I'm so grateful for the ones that have come before me, that have. That have laid a foundation. You know, I think of my dad, and he laid such a foundation for us to grow into that in this last seven years. We're coming up on seven years that he's been gone. It's because of his faithfulness to the plan that we're able to just go straight up. I mean, this ministry's only ever grown. It's grown the most. It has in the last few years than it has in the last 45 years. This ministry has grown. And I'm thankful for the ones that have come before me and that have laid a foundation, that I can partake of it now that we have such a. Like, no matter what, no matter if we're kicked out of the building, no matter if we're down at the beach, no matter if we're in the trees, no matter what, that this church is unmovable. And it's a testament to the foundation here that even through this season, even through this season, we're standing strong. I said it. We're saying that's a testament to the leadership here, and it's a testament to the faithfulness of you guys. You guys are a faithful church. You're here this morning. You're faithful to give. You're faithful to bring your supply, and we're grateful for that. But that's the beauty of the body of Christ. We all have a role to play in that anointing. We partake of the healing. We partake of the answers we receive here. We're to take it out to the world. We're to take it to a community. The only way we're gonna grow this church is and to get this message out there is through the people. We are the church. We are to deliver this message. You could be that answer for somebody that they've been praying for because you invited them to a church that welcomes the anointing they may never experience. They've come here for the first time. The Holy Ghost knows they're here. And because of a Holy Ghost church, they receive their answer specific that they go. Wow. I never knew that. It changed my life. But that's what the anointing does. It helps us. It destroys yokes in people's lives. So we need a local church. Amen. We need that divine connection. We need to protect it. Amen. We need to protect it and guard it. Amen. Are you helped this morning?
C
Hallelujah.
B
He's good all the time. He's so faithful. Let's just take a moment to thank him and worship him. Father, we praise you and honor you this morning. We're so grateful for this place. We're so grateful that you would put a pastor in our life, anointed by you. That you would give us a church that we could be safe in, that we can partake of your word. We're so grateful for this place. We're different because of this place. And we thank you, Father, for it. We praise you and thank you, Father, for your goodness, for your mercy. We honor you and bless you, Father. You're good. And your mercies, they endure forever. Hallelujah. We praise you and honor you this morning. You're good.
C
Hallelujah.
