Hi, I'm Nancy Dufresne. Welcome to our podcast channel. We know you'll be blessed by today's message. Hallelujah. Father, we glorify you. Jesus, we thank you. It never gets old to us to recognize the price you paid. And Father, it never gets old to us to recognize the price you paid. And Holy Spirit, thank you that you are the ever present help, the ever present one that abides within. And we're honored to host you. And we thank you that you are bringing us into the greatness of the plan God authored and that Jesus purchased. And we thank you for it. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. I tell you, what about them? What about this? I mean, you want to put them in your pocket and take them home, right? So, Tony, Jacob, David, thank you and thank you to all, all these precious people. They come at their own expense. And they come and part of the worship school and they get real workouts, but they leave with something. And so pastors, now you know what your. Your people can do. Amen. And so we appreciate. Thank you, everyone. So, so appreciate it. Right? So good. Right? So good. Like, hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Turn around to three or four people tonight, give them a great big God bless you, then you can be seated. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah. Have you had a good week just being with each other, right? Not only that, being in the services with one another and receiving of the plan. We're taking it all. I said we're taking it all. And Dr. Bill Winston coming. Yeah, yeah, yeah. Praise the Lord. And so we're just honored to get to be together again tonight. It never gets old. I said it never gets old. Well, we started, I believe, on Monday night. And we were referring to the verse found in Second Corinthians where Paul wrote and he talked about. He said, I fear lest by any means as the serpent beguiled Eve through his subtleties. So your minds should be corrupted from the simplicity that's in Christ. Where is the first place we start leaving the simple flow and getting to the hard flow in our minds, in our thinking, in our thinking. The circumstances don't get harder. Thinking can get hard. Us thinking something is hard. So something is in our life as we think it to be. Amen. So we are to ever be mindful that we have been born again. And the flow we've been born into is a simple flow. It's simple faith. Amen. Brother Joel Siegel has a book called Simple Faith, and it is off the charts. So he nails it in that title. Simple faith. Not hard. Not hard. God does not want you believing hard. He wants you believing easy. Why? He's already done the hard part. And he's the one that works to bring things to pass. And we just let him do what he's so good at. Amen. And if I would say this, in the face of opposition, take your stand against the enemy, then turn your back to him and turn yourself toward the God who's working for you instead of the enemy that's constantly working against you. That's what makes things hard, is when you're watching the one working against you. Amen. But he's not worthy of the attention because he's a defeated foe. And in every encounter, dad Hagin used to say this to us all the time. In every encounter with the opposition, always remember him as a defeated foe. You are not trying to defeat him. You are not trying to get victory. He is defeated. You are on the victory side. We are not trying to break through to victory. That is our high ground, and we're not coming off our high ground. And how do we come off our high ground if we think wrong? And so we're not going to be deceived and duped into the hard flow that we've been delivered out of. Jesus said, come unto me, all you that are labor and are heavy laden, and I'll give you what? Rest, Rest. Not give you something hard. Give you rest. And God Jesus said to me in that visitation that I had in 2018 in St. Petersburg, Russia, about the price of the double portion anointing. He said, we renew your mind to the easy flow. Renew your mind to how you are in what's light and easy. You have to renew your mind to it. Because before you were born again, the world taught you a hard flow. But now we're to learn the easy flow. Light. His yoke is easy and his burden is light. Amen. And then we have to remember, I love something that Smith Wigglesworth quoted. He said, God delights to give liberally. God delights. You don't have to talk him into it. You don't have to have an approach of, I'm manipulating God. You don't have to manipulate him to do what he longs to do. God delights to give liberally all the inheritance of life and strength and power that you are in need of. He delights for us to partake of that. Amen. He's not a withholder. If something's not flowing, it's not because he's withheld it's because we've stepped out of the flow. But just as we stepped out, we can step back in. Just as we went into wrong thinking, we can come back into right thinking. And how many of you know wrong thinking is the open door to the enemy, but right thinking is the open door to God? That's why the devil's after your thoughts. He's after the way you think because he knows that that's where it's won or lost in how you think. Amen. Well, praise the Lord. Go with me to Second Corinthians, chapter 4, 2 Corinthians, chapter 4. We need to embrace this terminology that the Holy Ghost gave brother Paul. Second Corinthians, chapter 4, verse 17. And remember this Apostle Paul, he. Remember what Jesus said about him, said, I will show him what great things he must suffer for my sake. Right. And you know what Paul called that? 2nd Corinthians, 4:17. For our light affliction. For our light affliction. Now we know how he thought of it, because now we know how he spoke of it. The way he spoke of it is the way he thought of it. So he called it light. And can I tell you this? He didn't say my light affliction. He said our. He included you. He's calling your affliction light. You might as well. He wasn't just calling his affliction light. He was calling our light affliction. And we're not authorized to call it something different than the word calls it. And if you call it something different than the word cause it, you'll have something different than the word author. Amen. So we train ourselves to talk that it's light. And I want you to know Jesus did not live under a burden of the price he was to pay. He was joyful in this life he lived on the earth. He was not living with a awareness. Oh, I've got to pay the price. He was so untroubled that at the Last Supper, the Apostle John just leaned on him. If he were troubled, John wouldn't be leaning on him. If someone's agitated, you don't go. I want to pick them to lean on. There was such a peace that he exuded, and this is just moments before his arrest. And that's the place he took. We take the place. That's one of the things I so appreciate about Brother Hagin. His voice was so large, but he wore it lightly. He wore it lightly. And I remember hearing Pastor John Osteen make a statement he was talking about earlier in his Ministry. When the church started growing, the responsibilities started growing. And he said to God, he said, there's. So he said, there's so much weight to the responsibility that I'm under. And one day he was talking to God about it, and he was praying. And while he was praying about it, he had a vision. And he saw himself walking up a hill. There were three crosses on that hill. And he was walking. He said, I was just trudging up that hill. And he said, as I saw that cross, hey, I'm going to have to pick up that cross. It's so heavy. And he went to pick it up. But the amazing thing is when he picked it up, it lifted him. Yes. Yeah. You understand that he was trudging up in his own wrong thinking. But when he took hold of that cross, his thinking got changed. Might as well change your thinking, because God's not changing for our light affliction. So let's join Brother Paul and say, our light affliction. Yeah. Because he went through more than you. He was hated more than you. He was opposed more than you. Amen. You say, you don't know what I've been through. Well, he listed what he'd been through, and he called it light. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment. Look at that. Your past opposition is not to engulf your attention, because if it does, it'll live with you longer than a moment. So he said, it's but for a moment. And Brother Jesse Duplantis talks about often, you probably heard it of his account of going to heaven. And he talked to Paul. And Paul quoted this passage and said, tell. Tell the believers to turn it from back from. To turn it back from a hard, heavy affliction to a light affliction. He said, it's to be a moment, not a lifetime. They've turned the opposition into a lifetime. Turn it back to a moment. Amen. So we determine how long we struggle, not the devil. You can be right in the middle of opposition and refuse to struggle. That's right. That's right. Amen. Amen. Amen. And so he says, for our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Look at how are we going to keep opposition light in our view? How are we going to keep it just for a moment, instead of it taking years of your memory, years of you living with it and working it out? The difficulty is, if something is with us longer than it ought to be, we're doing it wrong. And we need to say, if I'm living with this too long, I'm doing it wrong. I'm doing it wrong. Now let me help you with this. The Holy Ghost is your helper. You know what he will help you do? Keep it light. He'll help you with that. He'll help you. He won't help you keep it hard because that's not what he's good at. He's good at what God authors. And he will help you keep it light. And you know how he'll help you keep it light. He won't give it the attention you're giving it. That's right. That's right. Amen. Amen. And he will help you keep it light. So it says, while we look, not how do we keep it light and how do we keep it for a moment we look not where we're looking. Determines how heavy something is. Determines how long something lives with us. Whenever I was in a wrong relationship before I met and married my husband, and when I got out of that relationship, I locked myself up for three weeks and I prayed in the Holy Ghost. I started the first hour every day with worshiping God for an hour, the next hour feeding on the Word, the next several hours praying in the Holy Ghost. After three weeks, there was no notice, no sign, no debris, no residue of anything that I had just gone through. It was completely removed from me. Why? Because I didn't have to handle it. I just had to get the one involved who could handle it. And by praying in the Holy Ghost, the Holy Ghost acted. If I could say it like this, a Holy Ghost vacuum just sucked every piece of it out. Why? So that I don't live with things and carry them around for years. And they get heavier the longer you carry them. Even a light load gets heavier the longer you carry it. Can start out for a moment and feel light, but if you carry it too long, it leaves feeling light and goes to weighty. That's right. Amen. And bearing down on you. And so people think they have to work out what's in there. No, no, no. You just have to suck out what's in there with the Holy Ghost vacuum. Now, how was he able to rid me of that? Because I didn't want any of it. That's it? That's it. I didn't want to use it and feel bad for myself. I didn't want someone else to be manipulated by what I felt. I didn't want to recall it and rehearse it and spend it at a more Opportune time against someone. If you're not done with it, he won't take it. No matter how difficult it is because his honor is so great, he won't take it. Anything out of your care that you're still using. And you can say, I want that gone. I want that gone. Then take your hand off of it. You have to choose to be done with it. In your thought life, in your emotions, in your conversations. Hallelujah. And so here he says, while we look not at the things which are seen. If you say, I'm struggling with things of the past that trouble me, then just say, father, you paid the price through Jesus for me to be free. I tell you what, I'm gonna lay all that out there and let the Holy Ghost just blow it out. Burn it out. The fire of the Holy Ghost. Just burn it out. Amen. You know how long it takes to burn out something like that? Till I was eight years old, I lived. Our family lived in a little town called Olustee, Oklahoma, 12 miles outside of Altus. We didn't have a trash service. In Olustee. You didn't need a trash service. We had a trash can and it sat at the corner. And every Monday was burn day. Everybody burned their trash that day. Everybody burned it. Once it was in the barrel and burned, you couldn't get it back. I want you to know, anytime something tries to be debris in your life, go throw it in the trash and let it be burned day. Come on. Amen. And why do you think the Holy Ghost is like fire on you? Burn it up. Burn it up. Burn it up. Amen. Burn day. Every day's burn day. But you didn't put it in there till you were done using it. Something's living with people. They're not done using it up here or in their affections or somewhere. And the Holy Ghost is so honorable, he'll not violate what you're still using. Gotta be done. Gotta be done. While we look not at the things which are seen. If we look the wrong direction, what happens? Things become heavy and sin of light. And if we look the wrong direction, things become long instead of a moment. So the way we keep things light and keep them only within a moment that passes, we have to look at the right thing while we look not at the things which are seen. When the word says not to look, we're in disobedience and in sin to look at it. It's not an option if he says where not to look and we look. Yes. Yes, anybody. Were you Ever. I remember growing up and, you know, we had three channels on our television. Anybody ever had three? Three, Three. And one was an educational. It's like watching C Spam. Some people like it. Maybe I shouldn't say that. But anyway, and so you really had two channels, and they weren't stocked with children's broadcast programming. You know, they just weren't. And so there would be something that would come on. And Mother was the type. You couldn't watch dramas. We're not watching dramas. You could watch musicals, you could watch comedies, but you couldn't watch a drama. She said, life has enough problem without popping it in through the tv. That's not entertainment. When it's drama, you watch drama. You know, what she did love was espionage. That's good drama, but it's espionage. But James Bond, you know, he was different in the Carolyn Chapman, you know, movie list. James Bond was not drama. But if you were at home and you were little and there was gonna be something on TV that maybe, you know, maybe there was. What is it? The Wide World of Not sports. There was an animal show that came on Sunday night after. Was it dis. What was it called? Wild Kingdom. Wild Kingdom. Wild Kingdom. The only thing is, they showed the wild sometimes. And they'd show one eating another. And Mother would go, why? Because she knew we're going to have nightmares. And she didn't want to have to get up in the middle of the night with a kid crying with a kn. Nightmare of being eaten in the bed. And she would make sure you're not looking. God doesn't want to give you nightmares. You're not looking. Come on. You're not looking. The word puts up the hand of protection. Don't look there. And if you looked, that's your problem, that you're troubled. Yeah, that's right. You're only troubled because you looked where you shouldn't have looked. I was listening. Somebody that a relative of Ed's had, he had told this relative, you're not going to go see that movie Jaws. Well, they snuck out and went and saw the movie Jaws. The only thing is, for two years, they wouldn't get into water. And they had nightmares and everything else. Why? Because they looked. They looked. And what they looked at lived with them. What you look at lives with you. That's right. Come on. Amen. And you wouldn't have to struggle to get rid of stuff if you quit looking at what you don't want to live with. If you don't want to live with it, don't look at it. If you don't want to live with symptoms, don't look at them. If you don't want to live with lack, don't look at it. Because what you look at lives with you. And that relative learned real quick he was right. I shouldn't have gone to see that. Well, he told you not to. If you got nightmares, you wanted them. You didn't realize looking would take you there, did you? People don't realize where they're looking, where it will take them. That's right, that they didn't intend to go. That's why you don't look at where you don't want to end up. Because now you're going to have to use your faith and spend it on something you never should have even been looking at. And you're not going to get to bear fruit. You're going to be spending your faith just to get out of a hole. Amen. Don't waste your faith getting out of holes. Don't get in them. Don't get in them. The day Ed went home to be with the Lord, I said to the kids, we're not touching this in our thought life. We're not touching it. Where did we miss it? What should we have done? What could we have done? Don't go there. Because if you go there, you're going to get depressed and I'm going to pull you out of a hole and I don't have time to pull you out of a hole. I don't have time for that. Amen. Looking at the wrong thing. Can I tell you when you're look, how do you know if you're looking at the wrong thing? When you're asking questions. How come? Why not? When's it going to happen? How come it's taken so long? Why isn't God doing it? Why is he doing for others and he's not doing for me? That's looking wrong. When you're asking questions, you're in the mental arena and it's the wrong place to be looking. You don't have to know when, how come and why. All you have to do is say, no weapon formed against me shall prosper. Amen. You say the word without trying to figure out your answer and your help. You can't figure out your help. You can't figure it out. Quit. Praise the Lord while we look. Not so. It's a sin to look. So when your spouse starts bringing up and talking about wrong places, they're looking. Say, quit looking. Amen. Amen. Amen. Amen. Well, he hurt my feelings. Saying that. You need your feelings hurt. Cause what you're looking at will hurt more than your feelings if you look at the wrong thing while we look not at the things which are seen. So he's saying, see all that's around you, huh? You cannot. You cannot. You can't go there. You just can't go there. Why? It'll take faith out of you. You look at the price of something. If God's told you something is yours and you look at the price of it, you can't have it. Why? Because faith, if it looks at the wrong thing, it'll take faith out of you. Yeah. And you'll figure out, I don't know where I'm going to get the money from. No, you don't, but he does. While we look not at the things that are seen, but we're to look somewhere at the things which are not seen. How about a disciplined view disciplining what we let our attention on, what we let our thought lives on. Pay attention when you're getting dressed in the morning, what you're thinking about those people. Because you're looking at something. Your mind is going somewhere all the time. And you have to discipline. And you don't have to take of you just because it's given you. You choose what you look at. You choose what you're occupied with. While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporal. What's that mean? Subject to change. Change. What's going to change it? A higher view. While we look not at the things which are seen, but we look at the things which are not seen, which are eternal. And not only that, the things which are not seen are light. And it changes all hard things from a lifetime to a moment. Amen. Hallelujah. The Hebrews delivered out of Egypt never arrived at their promised land in that first generation. For one thing, they looked at the wrong thing. They refused to change what they focused on. God told them what to look at. He told them what to look at. I have given you a land. It flows with milk and honey. They couldn't see that in their view, but he gave them words to imagine it. Imagine it. Amen. And they began to see themselves wrong. Because they started measuring themselves against the enemy in the promised land. And therefore they said, we're not enough. They didn't measure right. They should have measured their enemy against God. Not against themselves. Against God. Against God. When you. When you're looking at a circumstance Measured up to God? Is it greater than him? No. That's right. Amen. And so they could have gone just a few days through that wilderness to get all the way through it. But notice they were on the path God sent. They just stayed too long. Have you ever stayed too long? I've stayed too long in some things. Stayed too long on some projects. Stayed too long in some circumstances. Stayed too long in some wrong thinking. Well, how do we get out of that place? Change where we're looking. Change where we're looking. Yeah. Yeah. They did not build what God said in them. That's right. All they had to do was build it in them. And only two built it in them. Joseph, Joshua, and Caleb built it in them. They kept rehearsing and repeating what God said. What did that do for them? It kept them looking at the right thing. It kept them looking at the right thing. And what did Caleb say on his 85th birthday? Give me that mountain full of giants. I love what Dr. Sumrall said at 85 years old, give me a mountain full of giants and I'll slay them and fertilize the earth with their carcasses and giants. And Caleb said, I'm stronger now than I was then. And notice what he said? I'm stronger for war. He wasn't looking for. He wasn't looking for a retirement plan. And it wasn't even a city. He was after cities. Cities. He wanted whole cities. Whole cities. That's what happens when you look the right thing, you see bigger than anybody else around you and notice. I want the mountain full of giants. Why? They got the biggest houses, they got the biggest beds. I want the biggest. He wasn't looking for the easy fight. He was looking for the place that would pay off the most. Yeah. Praise the Lord. They held. The Hebrews held to what this realm showed them. And therefore they never conquered this realm. They looked at the wrong realm. And that's what God's warning us. While we look not at this realm, there's a whole other realm we belong to. And we are citizens of that realm. We are spirit beings. And our spirits give us authority for that realm, God's realm. And when we're living more in this realm than that realm, our spirit feels cheated because it's held limited to a realm it doesn't belong to. Your spirit doesn't belong to the natural realm. It belongs to God's realm. The realm of provision. The realm of glory. The realm of abundance. The realm of victory. The realm of faith. It's the love Realm. Amen. And if we're going to be occupied with this realm, our insides will be dissatisfied. Yeah. Hallelujah. Now, you think about it. I said this. I think I said it in Paducah, but you think about it when it says, Paul said this light affliction, which is. But for a moment, Jesus, he endured the cross. Why? He looked clear through it to the other side. He looked at the joy that was on the other side. The cross wasn't the joy, but on the other side of the cross was the joy. What was it? Him raised, seated, and bringing many sons to glory. He focused on what was on the other side. You have to do that by. When you see this situation, you have to look in front of you. You have to look clear past it, treat it as transparent and look on the other side. Because once you pass tests, what happens? Promotion. That's right. Rewards. Amen. That's what David got facing Goliath. Everybody else was hiding, and David came up and said, what's the reward the guy gets who kills him? Let's talk about payback, man. The reward was held out for everyone. And only one man took it. Why? Because only one man would engage in the right realm. He was engaged in the faith realm. He was engaged in the spirit realm. He was engaged in the realm of his covenant. And they were engaged in the realm of the enemy. And only one man faced that giant thinking of the right realm. Amen. You're not children of this realm. You're children of God's realm. You are more suited for the spirit realm than this realm. I said you are more suited for the spirit. Spirit realm. Why? Because you're a spirit being. That's the realm you're suited for. Amen. Now you think of it. Turning an affliction that's light into a momentary thing, all of redeeming all of humanity from beginning to end. Three days. Is your problem bigger than the fall of humanity? Come on. Is your problem bigger than the fall of humanity? And the skill of operating out of the right realm redeemed a fallen humanity. Three days. Come on, now. Don't think that Jesus was down in hell seeing who's going to win, duking it out. The devil gets a blow. Jesus gets a blow. The devil takes. Gets a blow. It tells us in the word what was going on in hell when Jesus was in hell. People say Jesus didn't go to hell. Well, he did. He did. And he said, just as Jonah was in the belly of the well, three days and nights, so shall the Son of Man. Be in the belly of the earth. So that's what he said. What was he doing down there? He was not pinned down with hordes of demons laying on him and him trying to get a breath. What was he doing? Jesus spoiled. Spoiled. That's what he's doing for three days and nights. He's spoiling. He's spoiling. What does spoiling look like? Well, what does it look like with King Jehoshaphat? When they didn't have to fight. And for three days. Three days. Three days. Sound familiar? Three days. What are they doing? Gathering up the spoils. Gathering up the spoils. So when it says Jesus spoiled, what's he doing? He's gathering up everything Adam lost. Then he comes back and says, I got the keys of hell and death. He was not down there seeing who was going to win. He was down there gathering up everything Adam lost. And then he paraded them as defeated through the realms of the damned. Why? Because the thief took it. And Jesus got everything back. I love something Brother Copeland says. He said everything the devil has, he stole. He's a thief. Well, he didn't have it anymore. He doesn't have it anymore. Jesus got it back. Jesus got it back. But if you're just going to talk about this realm that doesn't know that Jesus got it back, you're going to be acting like this realm instead of the realm that has it all. We got it all. We got it all. We got it all. Why? Because Jesus got it all back. He got it all back. He got it it all back. Amen. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. I said praise the Lord. Now I want you to go with me. Let's look at. Let's. Can I just. Can I just read you some scriptures? I can give you references, write them, but don't try to go to them because we don't have time to go to them. But Jesus was the sample son. I Love that. How Dr. Bill Winston calls him the sample Son. Why? Because when you see the example, the sample now you know what you can do? You're in Christ. What he did, you can do. Why? Because you're one with him. Amen. Jesus constantly demonstrated when he was in the earth how small the problems of humanity were in the great hand of God. He constantly demonstrated that when the sick came to Jesus, notice none of them that received told their history. Why? Because you don't receive when you're problem is big to you. You have to. When do manifestations of things come? When the promise is bigger than the problem to you. And when people came to Jesus, they saw their help, they heard their help, they received from their help, and they treated their situation. They didn't say, well, you know, it happened back in, you know, the year 13. You know, my great, great auntie, she did that. And because of that, my mama's been mad. And my mama raised us this. None of that. No history lesson. No, no. No history. You. You don't see them, see spilling. Why? When you're in the presence of your answer, don't talk about your problem. When you're in the presence of help, don't talk about what's against you. Amen. So. The woman that built. Yeah, I'm going to refer to it, Pastor Debbie. The woman who built onto her house a room for the prophet. A room for the prophet. I know that. Sacred Debbie Graham. But her son dies. The prophet of God said, you're going to have a son, has a son. The son evidently has a heat stroke and dies. The dad said, take him to the mama. That's right. So he's still alive. Takes him to the mama, he dies. She goes and puts him on the prophet's bed. Isn't she glad she didn't turn that into Aunt Mabel's guest room just because the prophet wasn't there? She kept it separate. This is the prophet. This belongs to the prophet. And she went and laid that child on the prophet's bed. And then she saddled up the donkey. We going on a trip. She's going to go get the man of God. When her husband asks about the child, all is well. What's this mean? Faith is no drama when you're looking at the right thing. No drama if you're looking at the wrong thing. Drama. If you have drama, it's because you're focused on the wrong thing. It matters how you treat what you see. So the greater your faith is, the more your mind is renewed and the greater your skill in the Word and the simpler your help is to you. An unrenewed mind keeps everything hard. If things are hard, it's an invitation to further renew your mind. Because the renewed mind sees it as easy. The renewed mind sees the greatness of God and the defeat of the enemy. That's what we have to see. Amen. I want you to see how Jesus treated the work of the devil when he was on the earth. As I said, just write the reference. We don't have time to turn it. John 4, verse 46. The nobleman comes, his son is dying. He said, my. My son lies at the point of Death, come and heal him. He's a day's journey away now. Jesus went with Jairus, but he told this man, I'm not going with you. Why is that? Jesus knew the man, this son, would die before they got there. So he says, I'll send my words there. My words will get there quicker. And this is what he said to the Father with a dying son, go thy way, Thy son liveth. Six words. Six words. To uproot death. Six words. Six words. Not a prayer meeting, not fasting, not a prayer chain. Come on. Come on. Six words. Six words. Six words. Why? Because in Jesus's view, God is great. Amen. And the problem is no big deal. That's right. Amen. No big deal. No big deal. Anything the devil does is no big deal. Anything the devil does is no big deal. Why? Because he's not a big deal. He's not a big deal. He's been spoiled. He has. He has been paraded through the corridors of every realm as shown defeat. Defeated, you are defeated. He is no big deal. That's why he only becomes a big deal when you look at him differently than he is. Jesus treated him as no big deal, and he treated his work as no big deal. That's right. Six words. In the face of death, go thy way, thy son liveth. If it's too many words, you need more skill. Long praying means you need greater skill. I'm talking about in the exercise of authority, not talking about praying out the plan of God. I'm talking about when you're faced with the work of the enemy. Amen. What about the woman caught in adultery? I don't know how a woman's caught in adultery by herself. Somebody needs to rewrite the heading on that. They brought the woman to Jesus. They really weren't after the woman. They were after capturing him in his words, are you a law breaker? And so they throw her down in front of him and says, moses, law says, she's to be stoned. You a law breaker or not? And so he answers them. He said, well, the one who's without sin, go ahead. You go ahead and throw your rock. Well, wow. The genius of the Holy Ghost. Answer. The genius of the Holy Ghost. He got that from the Holy Ghost. Ghost. So they all, you know, because they came to a stoning. That's what they came ready for. And evidently they're holding them because he said, the first one without. Without sin, go ahead and cast that. They got them ready, and they dropped it and walked off. And then he's left there with her, Jesus was not being permissive of sin. He said to her, where are your accusers? She said, there are none, Lord. He says, neither do I. Look at this. Go and sin no more. They were looking for his judgment, but he disrupted them with kindness. And his kindness was not him being permissive toward her. His kindness was her release from it. Amen. Amen. It released her from ever being fallen into that flow again. Kindness releases people. That's why the Lord is good and his mercy endures forever. Because that's the best way to release someone. Amen. What about this? The leper coming to him. You, you can. You can cleanse me if you will. See, he's facing a lingering death, a suffering death, a long death, a painful death. And with five words, I will be thou clean. Five words undoes a death sentence on his body. Five words. Why? Because what God does is the big deal. What the devil does is know that you are able to say, by his stripes, I am healed. That's the big deal in your mouth. That's the big deal in your focus. Amen. And the devil will tell you that's not enough. God's mouth in your mouth is a big deal. And that's what he fears. And that's why the devil tries to paint it as words are not enough. Are you kidding? Come on. Words are what created what we're living on words. God. Words are a big deal. And it's so interesting because the more desperate the situations got, the fewer words he used. God in front of Lazarus is great. Lazarus, come. Three words to turn back four days of death already dead. Turn back four days. Three words. That's skill. And he really only needed to come forth, but then everybody's coming. So the first word was will. Necessary to narrow it down. Well, we're gonna see uncle Jacob and cousin Laban. And. Jesus goes to Jairus house. Five words. Damsel, I say unto thee, arise to turn death around. Five words. Well, I just want Jesus to come to my house. No, you don't. No, you don't want him to come to your house. You want to know the only time we went to his house? When they're dead, right? You don't want to go that far. Jesus, stay where you're at. Just say the word. Stay where you're at. Say the word. It's doubt and unbelief that needs to him to show up. But understanding those, he really just showed up in people's house when they dead. Right. You say, well, what about Peter's mother in law? She Wasn't dead. No. He was there to eat. Right. He didn't go there to raise her up. He went to eat. And the cook was out of service. Get her back. He got her hand so he could eat. Yeah. Devil's stealing his lunch. No. Look at this. Ten lepers sentenced to death. Ten of them. Go show yourselves unto the priest. Six words for ten men. Taking them off death's door. Yeah. How simple is that? How simple? He didn't ask. How long has that been going on? You have any other relatives like this? What did you sin in? Just didn't blind. Bartimaeus never had seen. Go thy way. Thy faith has made you whole. Look at that. One statement undoes a doomed life sentence. One statement. How simply Jesus treated the problem. The problem was no big deal in his thinking. Was not going to be hard. Amen. Your answer is not hard. The change of your situation is not hard. It's not hard. It's not hard because everything is easy in the great hand of God. Everything. Everything. Amen. Yeah. Woman with the issue of blood. 12 years of suffering. No more medical help. You've come to the end of your medical help road, daughter. Be of good comfort. Thy faith has made thee whole. Go in peace. He not only told her her freedom, he told her her presence. And then he told her her future. Go in peace. That's how to keep what you just received. Don't lose your peace. Don't lay down your peace. Don't lay it down. I firmly believe that's what opened the door to it. She lost her peace somewhere. He's telling her how to not only receive healing but how to keep it from being robbed from her. Stay in peace. Men at the pool of Bethesda. Rise. Take up your bed and walk. Look at that. Simple. He didn't give him anything hard to do. Your healing is simple. Your answer is simple. It's simple. And then he finds him. Now it's so important for you to recognize the people that were raised up under Jesus earthly ministry. Many times we find and we see what happened to him after he told the madman of Gadara. Go tell. What great things God's done for you. Where do we know he's gone back to his homeland and he's out there preaching. We know where he went then with this man who was raised up at the pool of Bethesda. You know where we found him the next time? In the temple. Is it any wonder there's something in him that God knew? There's a hunger in him. And God could meet that and he went to the right place. He didn't go home and tell everybody yet. He went to the temple. First he went to the temple, but because he went to the temple. Now isn't it interesting? There was part B for this man, but he had to get to church to hear part B. Come on. Amen. Amen. You can be in a general setting, you can be at a conference setting or somewhere. You can be anywhere that God's word is being preached and received. But to get how to keep it, you better get to church. Because when he was in the temple, then Jesus found him there. Why Jesus had another part. You think that Jesus didn't know he needed that? Yeah, but he's saying, I'm going to see if he shows up at the right place to get the next thing I have for him. Where you go after you're healed means a lot as to what's going to happen to you after you're healed. You can't go back to the way you used to be. You can't go back to the old fellowship. Watching the old stuff that's displeasing to God. Going to places you have no business meeting. Let's go first Peter 2:24. Tell me, what's that say? We know it. Who himself bear our sins. Where? In his own body on the tree. That we being dead to sin. What's the next phrase? Should live. He's telling us how we should be living now that we're dead to sin. Should live unto righteousness. Then we talk about by his stripes. Why if we're going to choose not to live right, it's going to interfere with healing power. It's not a coincidence that should live right. Should live right. And so this is what Jesus told the man that was raised up at the pool of Bethesda when he found him in the temple. Go and sin no more, lest the worst thing come on you. He told him how to steer clear. That's right. Amen. And what do we know? Sin opened the door. That's right. And he's saying, don't think you can live. Live wrong and keep this. To live in divine health will elevate all of your life. It puts a demand on you that will cause you to come into the highest elevated flow. Because it demands a rightness. Yes. Amen. To walk in it, not to earn it, but to walk that way. Have to live right. How much do you want to live whole? Then you don't have to win that fight in that marriage. You don't have to get the last word at your boss. You see, I need my health more than I need to win an argument. I need my faith to work. And if I just speak my mind, it will unravel my faith. Well, praise the Lord. Deaf and dumb, man never spoke, never heard. Jesus put his fingers in his ears, touched his tongue, two words be opened. How simply. How simply to change a man's destiny. Amen. And then we see this in the synagogue. An unclean spirit, a man with an unclean spirit cried out. And he answered, shut up. Come out. You don't. You got nothing of conversation for the devil but shut up. That's it. Shut up. Amen. No. What'd you say, honey? You know. Did you know what our checkbook just said? That wasn't your checkbook talking. That was the root talking. That's right. That's right. Shut up. Shut up. Praise the Lord. He spoke. He spoke to storms. Peace be still. Three words to control nature when demons were trying to interfere with it. To stop his advancement. Because the devil will try to affect natural circumstances. Can I teach you something? There are a lot of tests we have to pass. You have to pass the test of distraction. What's distraction? The devil will cause all kinds of things to come up to keep you distracted from making the trip you're supposed to make to be where you're supposed to be. Amen. How many people wanted to come but something came up before this conference? If you don't pass the test of distraction, all the devil has to do is keep distracting you. Keep distracting. That's right. That's right. Well, such and such came up. And this came up. There'll always be something that cleans up. You gotta pass the test of distraction that's trying to keep you from arriving at where God is sending you. If you're waiting for all the conditions to be in order, you'll never arrive. You have to pass the test of distraction. You heard my husband say it. He said to pastors, I don't care if Sister Mary died, put her on ice. You're going to a convention, you're going to a conference. She'll still be dead when you get back. But people treat these interferences as appropriate to stop from them being where God told them to be. If you don't pass the test of distractions, that oh, I want to serve in my local church, but I'm too. No, you pass the test of distractions because if you don't, your life will be surrounded by distractions every time it's time for God offers you an advancement. That's right. And you'll miss your advancement because you got distracted by something natural that came up. And I'm not on you because you're here. I'm just teaching you. If this one didn't work against you, there will always be something. Something. Well, my pop's broke, so they'll be broke next week. Just wait. They're not gonna fix themselves. They'll still be broke tomorrow. You, when you come back. Right. Amen. There'll be all kinds of things where you don't understand. What happened with my relative. Oh, relatives always got stuff. Well, praise the Lord. Yeah. Said to the man with the withered hand, stretch forth thine hand. Just. Just stretch it forth. He didn't tell him, do some big abracadabra thing and let's. No, just stretch it forth. Do what you can't do. Because when you do what you can't do, God does what he does. All he had to do was the effort. Remember what Ed would say. I don't care if you're paralyzed from the neck down. Just move a finger in God's direction and God's power will meet your movement. You don't have to have full movement. He gives full movement. If you'll just give some movement. Something. And he would say, just roll your eyeballs that way. I'm not making fun of people. I'm saying, do something. Jesus did the same thing. Stretch forth your hand. How many times he could have said, but I can't. But the man just did what he was told, and power met his doing. Amen. He told the blind man, go wash in the pool of siloam. And he came again, seeing. He just said, go wash that off. Aren't you glad you made mud? You spread. He spit on the ground. Oh, that's so insulting. Depends on if you want your eyes or not. Why. But that's so disgusting. Why did he have to put mud? What do you think you're made out of? All right. He used dirt because that's what you're. He took what you're made out of and put it in the eyes to give God something to work with. That's right. Amen. Gave them what your content is. That's right. That's right. Whether you like it or not. Amen. Amen. What do they say? Your body's 70% water. Dirt and water. What you got? Mud. Mud. Just saying. And you don't have in a farming family to know that. Praise the Lord. Now, you give me a couple more minutes. That's all. In handling the body. Yes, yes, yes. What about the mind? Oh, what does the word say? How simply the word treats your mind. If you're going to treat your mind through psychology, you just complicated a lot of stuff. But if you'll do what God says with the mind, it's just as simple as Jesus treated the body. That's right. Okay. Worry. Worry. Dad Hagin said the greatest temptation he ever faced is the temptation to worry. And we could all probably say amen, right? Can I tell you, Jesus, five words. Take no thought for your life. Ah, worry. Done. That's it. That's it. He gave you five words to answer that. Worry, thought. I take no thought for my life. That's how you don't worry. You go, but you don't understand any more than that. No. That's what Jesus said, take no thought for your life. So you say, I take no thought for my life. Amen. That's so simple. You don't have to be educated. That's right. It doesn't matter what kind of crazy nut home you were raised in. And I don't say that disrespectfully. My husband was raised in one of those homes and I've always been so appreciative of the word, but of his faith. To say he changed the entire story of the life of his, of his family. Because one man decided, I take no thought for my life and he would not live. Troubled in his mind. Although he was raised in a home of mental illness, he saw mental illness work play out in his home every day from the time he was born. But he decided, I'm not sentenced to that. If you just do what I take no thought for my life, then the doctor said, you can't live. I take no thought for my life. When they said, we can't help you, I take no thought for my life. That's how you go to bed, peaceful, not worried about your life. Amen. How many words, so easy, so simple. Well, if I'm not going to take thought, what am I going to do? Am I going to be irresponsible? No. Casting all your care on him, for he cares for you. So you take that which tries to trouble you, say here, God, I'm done. Because if it's in your hands, he can't work on it. But if you'll put it in his hands, only then can he work on it. And he won't take it. You have to take your hands off of it. Amen. That's how many people the Doctors have said 85%. Different reports have said 85% of people that are sick, it started from the neck up. That's it. What's it mean? The way they thought. The way they thought. They worried themselves. Anxiety, anxious, panic, Fear. Fear. All of that. 85% they said, of all diseases started from the neck up. And Jesus gave us a simple answer. I take no thought for my life. So simple to deal with what puts many in a grave and what many are medicated on. People saying they're bipolar. All these things that have become huge medical issues and all names that we never heard years ago. Nothing but the spirit of fear. Nothing but the spirit of fear. Nothing but the spirit of fear. Well, it's a chemical imbalance caused by the spirit of fear. Amen. Amen. And then we buy into the things. Well, it's a chemical imbalance thing. Well, it's just physical. Nothing but the spirit of fear. And if you deal with it, and you deal with it with the Word, then you don't live troubled in your mind like the unsaved world. Believers need to renew their minds. How do you renew it? You believe what God says. I take no thought for my life. I take no thought for my life. Amen. Amen. Hallelujah. That's gonna empty out your thought life right there. And then. What about the devil trying to bombard the mind? Very simple. When the devil tries to bombard casting down. Casting down imagination. I cast that down. That's not my thought. I cast that down. That's not my thought. I cast that. That down. You deal with troubled soul with words. You say what God says to do with the mind. What about the past? How many have ruined their homes, their future and children by living with unresolved past? Can I give you 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6 words? Forgetting those things which are behind. Oh, done. Done. I saved you a lot of money at the counselor's office. I forget those things which are behind. I forget those things which are behind. I forget those things which are behind. I forget those things which are. I forget those things. That's what the renewed mind does. I forget them. I forget him. I forget him. Do you know that forgiveness is nothing but forgetting? I can't forgive. No, you won't forget. You can easily forgive what you don't remember. That's right. Yes, yes, yes, yes. That's a good word. Then. Others tormented by fear. Fear. Fear, fear, fear. God's not given us the spirit of fear, but a power of love and a sound mind. You yield to fear and it will take over your Mind. But Jesus paid for you to have a sound mind. And when your mind doesn't feel like it's yours, you say, oh, no, my mind is sound. My mind is sound. My mind sound. My mind is sound. You answer it that simply. You don't figure it out. You don't try to mentally say, how am I going to get from there to there. You're trying to get your feelings from there from one place to another. Forget your feelings. They're messed up anyway, right? Amen. They'll come in line with what you say. Instead of you chasing your feelings around, trying to make them feel feel good. Yeah. How short, simple and easy to do. Now, if we do any other thing than this with the soul, we're off the word. I'm just saying if we choose to go a different route, we're doing something different than the word prescribed. That's right. That's right. We have to stay with his system. You can't get. You can't get his results with your system. That's right. I'm not against. Hear me on this. When psychological things are employed, they're trying to help understand that the only problem with psychology is it gets you looking at you, right? You don't get, you don't deal with you looking at you. And that's the problem. To be free from the troubling of the mind, you have to look someplace. That's the answer, not the problem. And psychology doesn't know that. Because the only place that your help is the faith realm saying what God says. Amen. Amen. I've had people, I'm thinking, I remember years ago, there was a couple in my office, he wanted a divorce with no grounds, no grounds for divorce. And I met with him a couple times and I said, you have no grounds for divorce. You have a woman who loves God. I'm just going to say you leave God's best. You leave the one God gave you. What gets better after that? Come on. It doesn't get better. No, ma'. Am. So you might as well. Deal with you. That's right. That's right. Because you leave the place. Yeah, yeah, yeah. You took you with you, right? That's right. That's right. And you gonna be picking the next one. And the common denominator is you. I'm just saying your lightning fast mind. Fix you where you're at. Fix you where you're at. You don't fix you. Putting you in a different place. Fix you where you're at. Fix you where you're at. Well, I'M trying to fix my marriage. Then fix you. Because you can't fix your spouse. You're not anointed to fix your spouse. You're only anointed to fix you. Come on. Come on. Come on. Amen. Have you ever noticed you're not anointed Fix anybody else. So quit trying to fix your spouse. Fix you. But they're the problem. Will fix you. Because when you're fixed, their problems won't trip you up. You can live completely untroubled with people. And I finally got to this point, I knew that somebody didn't want help. You're wasting my time. This couple, wasting my time. When he finally said to me, well, I saw a marriage counseling place down the road. I think we'll go. I said, I think you need to, because the word is not enough for you. Go find what a man will tell you so you can find someone who tells you what you want to hear. Come on, now. Come on. Because that's what you're saying. I'm going to go find me somebody that tells me what I want to hear. But God will tell you what will fix you. And we all need fixing. And it's called the renewing of the mind. Amen. Hallelujah. If the problem is you, go the natural way of mental counseling. The only way they know how to fix you is through the mind. But that's the problem. Because that's the devil's arena. And they get you in that mental arena, talking about that mental arena, entrench you in that mental arena, and you come out more hopeless than when you went in. That's right. Because all you did in those meetings were seeing you. Yeah. God lets us do this while we look, not look at this, at the things which are seen. You know, your marriage problems are seen. You're seen. I get to not look at me anymore because when I look at me, I sink low. But when I look at the word, when I look at him, I'm elevated to that level. That's why we deal with things by the spirit instead of by psychology. Amen. Because psychology may give you some kind of false something to hold to, but it won't fix the root. That's right. The roots in your heart. The roots in your heart. The roots in your heart. And psychology does not know how to access that. The mind does not know that. Amen. That's right. But let's just face it. Some people want to go the other way because they don't want to fix them. They want to fix everything. What somebody did. Come on. Come on. I can't fix what somebody did. All I can do is fix me. Aren't you glad we get to get fixed? Amen. And I'm not downing psychology in the sense they're trying to help, I understand, but they just don't know enough to help. And that's the problem. But the Word knows enough. The Word is more than enough. As simply as Jesus said to dead bodies, rise and walk. He says, take no thought for your life. The exact same simplicity, the exact same simplicity for the body and the mind. Amen. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. God did not dive into your past and fix it. He nailed it to the cross and buried it. Amen. Aren't you glad? Amen. You're fixed. You're fixed. You're in Christ. You're fixed. You're fixed. Amen. Say Christ fixed me by putting me in him and him in me. I'm fixed. Hallelujah. I'm fixed. I'm fixed. That's the great fix man right there. Amen. We can't do something different than what Jesus did and arrived at what he made ours. He just spoke simply to things and expected his words to come to pass. Train your spirit that when I say something, it comes to pass. Train your spirit. That's how you train your spirit. When I say something, it comes to pass. When I say something, it comes to pass. When I say something, it comes to pass. And that's why you don't want to speak wrongly, because you're training your spirit to fail instead of to produce life. Amen. Everything I say comes to pass. Everything I say comes to pass. Everything I say in line with the Word, it comes to pass. Anything that's in line with my spirit, the Word, the plan of God, the goodness of God, it comes to pass. When I pray, it comes to pass. When I release my faith, it comes to pass. That's why people look somewhere else for outward help, because they haven't trained their spirit in that. Amen. You understand that if you don't train your spirit that everything I say comes to pass. You're going to have to go other routes to try to get relief. But you'll not be dealing with the root. Praise the Lord. Are you helped tonight? Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Stand with me, if you would. Thank you, Father, for your word. Aren't you thankful for the simplicity? It's so simple. That's not my thought. That's not my thought. I take no thought for my life. God's not given me a spirit of fear Done with it I cast my care. Load those in your gun the gun of your tongue Amen. Load those so that they're ready accessible for you to spend Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Just lift up your voice. Aren't you thankful that he made it that simple? Hallelujah. Host: Nancy Dufresne (Dufresne Ministries)
Date: June 16, 2026
Location: Campmeeting 2026, Wednesday PM
Main Theme:
A deep dive into the simplicity of healing, faith, and keeping life and spiritual battles easy by maintaining focus on God’s Word and His victory in Christ, rather than on problems, opposition, or past hurts. Pastor Nancy Dufresne urges listeners to reject complexity and ‘hardness’ in both belief and thought, emphasizing a practical and word-based approach to healing and victorious living.
Pastor Nancy Dufresne’s message is built around the Biblical principle that “the simplicity that is in Christ” (2 Corinthians) is not only foundational to faith and healing but is essential for Christian victory and peace. Using scripture, personal stories, and lively anecdotes, she demonstrates how directing attention toward God and away from problems transforms every burden into something “light and momentary.” The core of her teaching is the power of decision, focus, and the spoken word in both spiritual warfare and daily life.
Jesus’ Simplicity in Healing:
Don’t Overcomplicate Authority:
“God does not want you believing hard. He wants you believing easy. Why? He’s already done the hard part.” (08:57, Nancy Dufresne)
“If you call it something different than the word calls it, you'll have something different than the word author.” (20:34, Nancy Dufresne)
“What you look at lives with you. If you don’t want to live with it, don’t look at it.” (51:03, Nancy Dufresne)
“Six words to uproot death. Not a prayer meeting, not fasting—not a prayer chain. Six words.” (01:13:00, Nancy Dufresne)
“He just spoke simply to things and expected His words to come to pass. Train your spirit that when I say something, it comes to pass.” (02:13:40, Nancy Dufresne)
“The more desperate the situation, the fewer words He used.” (01:21:03)
“I take no thought for my life.” (01:41:13)
“Forgetting those things which are behind.” (01:54:18)
“You’re not anointed to fix your spouse; you can live completely untroubled with people. When you’re fixed, their problems won’t trip you up.” (02:05:27, Nancy Dufresne)
Nancy Dufresne’s message is a passionate, practical, and scripture-rich encouragement to keep both faith and healing simple. By aligning thoughts, words, and focus with the finished work of Christ and refusing to dwell on difficulties, believers can experience lasting healing, deliverance, and victory. The key is daily decision—choosing to look at, confess, and agree with God’s perspective, making room for His easy, overcoming flow in every area of life.
