Hello and welcome to the defrain Ministries Legacy Partner Podcast. We are excited to share this update with you.
B
Hey, partners and ministry friends. It's been quite some time since we've been able to do a partner podcast. My goodness, we've been very busy this last quarter of the year, which is kind of what you want to hear.
C
If.
B
I think if we did, too many of these, people might be wondering, how much time do you actually have on your hands?
C
It wouldn't be special no more.
B
It wouldn't be. Yes. We want to keep them special. So we have a lot to bring you from the last few months before we close out the year and kind of start a new year and kind of cast the fresh vision for the next year. But we want to let you know that Pastor Nancy, she has also been very busy in traveling with the new airplane. And it's been such a blessing because this year, at the end of this year especially, there's been some commitments that she's made, and she's been able to pick up some meetings kind of last minute and places that have needed her, needed that anointing, needed her voice, and she's been able to immediately pick up and go, which has been a real blessing. I know the airplane's kind of your department.
C
Yeah, it is. But, yes, you are very right with that, aren't you?
B
So handsome.
C
Thank you. You're supposed to say that. You have to say that.
B
I don't have to say anything. You can't make me.
C
Yeah.
B
So. But today we also wanted to bring before you a couple of new advancements that we've made. Some things that the ministry. Pastor Nancy, us, we sat and we talked about, but we also spent time praying about and praying for Pastor Nancy that she would know the right direction. And many of you have heard her say, she is slow to move. She's quick to obey and say yes to God, but she's slow in the process so that she hears clearly of how to do what it is God wants her to do. And oftentimes we can get clarity in our spirit and make steps forward without knowing God's ways and how he wants us to move and do things. And so one of the things this, these last couple of months is daystar, a new TV network. You want to talk about that?
C
Yeah, it was mom had called and said, you know what? I think there were some people that said, nancy, you need to get on on the daystar. And we didn't really wanted to go that way, but we kind of felt like cable was hit and Miss you know, yes, we all know that it's going away from that, but mom really got to pray about and said, hey, I think we need to do that. And the partners made it possible that we could do that. And we're getting quite a bit of feedback that people that are being touched and things. I think you had mentioned something about that.
B
Right. I do know that you and our administrator, for those of you watching, and you said, I didn't know, you know, you guys had gone on that she'd gone on daystar. And those of you who have maybe wondered and we've had some inquiries, your big thing has not been to go the route of a cable channel, but a network or a channel that reaches a different demographic. We could look at the analytics and say, you know, Victory Channel, of course, has been one of our main ones. We've, we're also there in the the Midwest on some network. On a network. But Faith Now, Faith now, which is over an Africa and Europe, but we looked at the analytics of this and it's a whole different demographic. It's primarily men.
C
Well, one thing we noticed is we were doing a crusade in the Midwest and we noticed that when you turn on the channels, Victory wasn't on those channels, but daystar was.
B
Yes.
C
So we kind of knew that we were getting into a whole different realm. And so in that that's why mom said, hey, let's go ahead and and do that.
B
So and I appreciate she went, we, she had talked to the Copelands and, and really they encouraged her. They, because there are our covenant partnership. We're partners with KCM and Pastor George and Pastor Terry and Eagle Mountain, as she's been living there, as everybody knows, she's been here for the last month or so. But we want to let you know that the, the Copeland's ministry really gave their blessing and encouraged her to go on daystar and said, you're going to reach with this message that Jesus is the healer, that you can be free in your mind, in your body, your family can be well, can be whole, and that there are great things in store with the plan of God for your life. They really encouraged us to get her on the daystar network to broad the audience. And so we again, we sat on that for a while, prayed about it, looked at everything, but God gave the green light and we went ahead and we're seeing already, I think, the, the calls, the phone calls and the call center has increased significantly with that. And then we were told that daystar reaches into the prisons.
C
Yeah.
B
And so that is something big on her heart.
C
Some of them call.
B
Yes.
C
And say that some of the prisoners have called and they were watching and.
B
They wanted books, they wanted material. So we're seeing a response. We had somebody from Florida call and say, hey, I want every book, every piece of product that you have. Who is this? Nancy Dufresne? I think it was like two days after she came on daystar. He said, I've never heard of her, and wanted everything that she had. And so the message. The importance is, the message is getting out. People oftentimes kind of. They get bogged down in the details and things that are going on that are really none of our business. But we need this message to go out. And when God says get it out, we obey. We answer to his voice alone. And so God really impressed upon her strongly to do this. And so we're grateful for the open door and their inquiry. They've been looking to get her on that network now for probably over a year. And so we've been very patient in making that decision. And. But people are being blessed. We're getting phone calls of. Again, people have never heard of her and never heard this message. And they're new to this ministry and they're getting behind the ministry. We do have an increase from August to December, in partnership. We went from 3,800 to 4,200.
C
That's amazing.
B
So with her going on Daystar and the response we're seeing and product being ordered, phone calls, our staff, we're believing that that Daystar Network and U.S. going on that network, that this message and what she's been preaching, that we've been hearing for years, that the Holy Ghost is getting it into the right homes, to the right, obviously, we're hearing into the prisons.
C
Right.
B
So we've already touched into different locations that are new for us. And so that's exciting.
C
Yeah. Well, tell them that the times that.
B
She'S going on 8:30am, that's central time. So she's in a prime spot. They were so good to give her a prime spot.
C
And that's Monday through Friday.
B
Monday through Friday. There's a second time. Do we have that second time, Jesse? It reruns at 11:30 at night.
C
11:30 at night.
B
@ night. Okay. So if you are a late nighter and you. Yes, 11:30 at night, you can catch her. That's 11:30 central time. So if you do have Daystar available to you, I believe. Are they online? Are they on? Do they have a.
C
YouTube? You know, I couldn't tell you.
B
That I just know they have a broader broadcasting.
C
Base. It's more of a network.
B
Base. It really is. So if you have it, you can catch pastor Nancy at 8:30am Central Time and then again 11:30 at night if that suits you better and you're up, you can catch her for the second time every day. So two time slots. That's exciting. And then she went to the prisons. She's been wanting to get back into the prisons really for years. And we got connected to Mike.
C
Barber through Brother Copeland, and we are partners with him as.
B
Well. We're partners with Mike Barber.
C
Ministries. He's really got a great thing because when you meet him, he loves what he does. And he came here and he did a Sunday morning for us, and he goes, man, I love being here, but I wish I was back in the prison. And it's funny because you think of somebody like, man, you wouldn't think they would want to go. You know, it doesn't sound like that great of a place to be. And he. He absolutely loves to be.
B
There. Yeah. And when you get around him and when he was here at the church, the people really grabbed onto his vision. We saw ourselves in that vision with him. His vision for what God's doing in the prisons, the testimonies he's told, the miracles that signs, wonders, the salvations. I'm telling you, there is a revival in the prisons. I know something that your mom said to him, that many had prophesied that God was going to move in these last days in the out of the way places. And she told him and just encouraged him and he encouraged us about what we can do to help him, that the prisons seem like the out of the way places to many, but God is moving, the power of God is moving. And Mike Barber is in the thick middle of it there in the prison system. And he's got a lot of connections. And he was so kind and generous to us and said that he would help Defresh Ministries, help Pastor Nancy to be her coordinator, to get her in the prisons. And she didn't want to go to the women's prison. She just said, send me to wherever you feel led. And so she went into the men's prisons, and you can see some of the photos up there. It was a powerful time that she was in there and. And she absolutely loved it. She called us immediately. We couldn't really have contact with her much during that weekend. She was really busy, but she called us and I mean, it just lit a fire in her and. And to get Back she used to do partners. If you didn't know this, she used to. When you were younger, she would go and preach in the prisons here in California and has always had a heart. We have a prison correspondence course. And so her heart has always been to get this message into the prisons. This isn't new for us. It's just a refiring and a restarting of something that's part of our ministry vision to go to the prisoner. So I don't know if you remember that when you were at.
C
Kid. I don't remember doing that, no. But I know that this time it's very effective because of he's been doing it for like 20 years, 30 years, I don't know. So he knows a lot of people. So partners, that's what, that's what their giving goes towards is to be able to get mom into these.
B
Places. And because of your partnership and your finances and your giving, we have been able to partner with his ministry. So when your seed comes in, it's not just sending her. We're sending Mike Barber and his team back into the.
C
Prison. Now I'm thinking about it, I think we bought a bunch of beds. What was it, like $25,000 worth of beds or.
B
Something? Yes, we were able to give and this ministry defra. So because it was on his heart, he took a whole wing, Mike Barber Ministries and has redone this wing. Am I right, Jess? And so when Pastor Nancy went in, she said defrain Ministries is going to be part of this. Can I read a scripture that came to me before we were filming today? And it's Psalms 107, verse 20. It says he sends forth His Word and heals them and rescues them from the pit of destruction. We know this, that God sent His Word and healed them. Well, Jesus was the Word made flesh. He sent His Word and he healed us through what Jesus did at the cross. But God's not done sending His Word. And when I think of partnership, I think of the fact that he is not done sending he sins. That is a continual flow. That's not just a he sent. Once the Amplified Classic said he sends forth His Word and heals them. And not only heals them, it says he rescues them from the pit of destruction. That's what our vision, the message that Pastor Nancy preaches, that we preach, that is the vision here at World Harvest Church that the Word gets sent for forth he sends his word. So an ongoing. It's not a one time thing. And partnership keeps that sending continually going forth. So we saw it again to the prisons, to. She was in Ohio, Mississippi, Florida, Texas. We had two. Another miracle crusade. We had a ladies conference here in California. You and I went back to Oklahoma. We've been all over here in California. San Francisco, Central California. Fireball. My.
C
Gosh.
B
Merced. Merced. Hey, Merced. We have been continually going, sending forth. We're part of the sending and. And that we. It's our voices, but it's your finances that fund the voice of healing, that fund that voice of a rescue and deliverance and faith into people's lives. And sending could be over airwaves, it could be over television. And so I'm excited about this sending. I think it was really stirring in me this next year too, for more sending. There's more sending to be done. And so if you're not a partner, we encourage you to become one. We're going to be going more.
C
Overseas. Yeah, well, you just came back. Why don't you tell me about.
B
That? We went back. I went back with some gals to France there, to Paris, a church there that we've been connected to when since your dad was there in the 80s. He went and helped the pastor there. They have a wonderful ministry. I tell you what power. Pastor Dorothy is a powerful woman of God. She reminds us a lot of your mom and that she picked up when her husband went home to be with Lord and carries on that vision of what God is doing in France. And she asked me to come to their Bible school ladies meeting. There was maybe about 6 to 700 ladies and then Sunday morning service. And then I think I did some question and answer sessions with some ministers and ministers wives that were there. And really just God has opened up a door there in France that we were really being diligent to continue to go through. We want to get Pastor Nancy's books in French. We're still working on that. And then from France and ministering there at that church, I had a great time. Precious people, hungry people. God is doing signs, wonders and miracles in France. Don't believe the news. Don't get bogged down. I'd say you can watch so much news that it robs your faith of laying hold of in prayer and in expectation of what God is doing right now on the earth. But then we went from France over to Catherine and I. If you don't know who Catherine is, she's on staff here. It's Pastor Noel and Pastor Ruby's daughter. We flew over right after Sunday morning service, flew over to Dublin, Ireland, rented a car and drove up just to Visit with some precious partners of ours, Mary and Norman Totten. They watch every Sunday service here. I think they watch every Sunday service there at Eagle Mountain. They have been partners with Kenneth Copeland Ministries for decades. They have corresponded over the years with Miss Gloria and have been so blessed. She told me a great testimony. I want to show you the power of partnership and that she. She had let us know that they went to see Brother Copeland there in Northern Ireland, in Belfast. He held a crusade there. And of course, you're either a Protestant, which is Presbyterian, or you're Catholic. And he went. Held a crusade there back in. I believe they said it was the 90s, early 2000s. And they connected with Sister Gloria and Brother Copeland and Sister Gloria. They had no way of other than handwriting to the ministry. They had no way to watch Kenneth Copeland Ministries broadcast and to connect to them. And Sister Gloria and KCM sent them an iPad and a Roku set up so that they could watch Victory channel broadcast and stay connected to the ministry. And they found our ministry not through Kenneth Copeland Ministries, but through your.
C
Mom. I think it was.
B
YouTube. Right, YouTube. She was singing in a tartan skirt, and they thought she was an Irish singer and just watched her and realized we were connected. And I love that story of how Kenneth Copeland Ministries, who has been a leading voice in partnership in the earth today, shows how we should connect with our partners. And we're so interested in you partners. We've picked up that. Just that love and that care for our partners and that compassion for them. But because of that, because of what KCM did, they were able to watch your mom and find her on YouTube, connect with us. They send cards, letters. I absolutely would say that that was a highlight. And one of the best days of my entire year was getting to devote a whole day to just being with two partners who are in such a remote, spiritually, a remote part of the world. They attend faithfully their Presbyterian church, but when they are not there on Sunday mornings, they take your mom's books and partners, they. We now are sending them her books for free. And they are taking victory over grief and sorrow daily healing bread. And they are spreading those books all over Ireland. They're getting them into bookstores. They're. They're putting them in church bookstores and just setting them in church bookstores through friends, through connections that they have. And it's in the. The books that there is such freedom for people. And so I am just thrilled. Partners about her books going into a nation. So can you be believing with us that the holy Ghost is taking those books, getting them into the right hands, getting them into the hands of those in those nations that need deliverance, that need free, need freedom, that need to be really free from religion and freedom from that bondage of not feeling like they can be close to God. And if I could tell one more testimony. When I was in San Francisco, there was a young woman who came up to me and she said, I've been waiting for one of you guess either myself, you or Pastor Nancy to come up here. And I've been looking at your schedule. And she said, I couldn't wait to tell you my testimony. She said it wasn't two years ago that her baby died. And right after that her mother died. And she said she didn't know anything about our ministry. She was so desperate one night, so full of grief, she got on the Internet to try to find some help, like a maybe a self help book. And she just typed in grief. Well, Pastor Nancy's book, Victory Over Grief and Sorrow came up. She ordered it. I'm not sure if it was just on the Internet or Amazon and. But I'm telling you, God used that avenue. He used that, that tool of the Internet, brought up that book. She purchased it. She could not wait to tell me that she had been completely set free a year ago of any grief, any torment. She was so full of joy. When she came up to me, she said, I just couldn't wait for one of you to come up here so I could give you my testimony. I could be in your service, shake your hand, hug your neck. She said, can we be partners? Because of you, these materials are getting out. We have the funds to keep furthering through, not just preaching, maybe on daystar, but through the, the materials. It takes funds to continue to get these materials out. And so we're. That's just one testimony of the last few months that I was able to kind of bring, you know, gather up and, and realize that that was because of the partnership and let the Holy Spirit you're giving just allows the Holy Spirit to take and do with the gospel whatever God wants done with it.
C
Amen. Yeah, well, now that you've talked about that, we are wanting to expand into more square.
B
Footage. Oh my.
C
Gosh. So this is the last thing and then we'll.
B
Stop. We need.
C
It. But I don't know if you know, but every bit of the ministry here takes up every square footage. We don't have anywhere else to grow to. And one of our biggest things now is there has come a. Available to us it's called a Rite Aid, which uses. It's. It's. It's. It's like a Walgreens, a CVS store. It's 17, 000 square feet. And for us, that would put us years ahead of what we need, you know, because we could build something and it'd just be enough and it wouldn't, you know, it's not to grow. This is right next door to us. And I want you to be believing with us for this building because we know it's ours.
B
And. Well, tell them what God spoke to you, really. And your mom. When both of you drove past, the same thing came to you about, that's ours. And.
C
Then. Yeah, yeah. I think it's just that, like.
B
Well, this year we need.
C
To. I knew it was going to be a lot faster than it was going to be because we. Sure, we. We were planning on building, but it was only right. Only going to be about 10,000 square feet. This almost doubles that. And it puts us years forward for growth. And so I want you guys to be with. With us and, and praying about.
B
That.
C
Yeah. And.
B
Things. Studio.
C
Space.
B
Studios. We've really outgrown.
C
Publications. Printing. Yeah, possibly printing stuff. You know me, I like to be in house for everything that, that we possibly can. So that's really going to be an amazing thing for, for.
B
Us. And it's. It's just, just right down the road here, so it's within proximity of the church and easy for the staff to kind of go back and forth. This studio behind us was a.
C
Classroom, and it was a.
B
Classroom.
C
Really. All this will get moved. Need that, you know, so. And what. Once you get the building, then you got to build it out. So it's a.
B
Whole. Like you were just saying right before we started filming, you were like.
C
I'm looking around, I gotta.
B
Rip. I'm gonna have to tear all this out. We're moving it down.
C
There. So. But we're. We're gonna get.
B
It. We're getting it. It's.
C
Ours. We're gonna get it. But the partners are part of that, and we're so grateful for.
B
That. And one of the things that our partners there. I was just reminded as you were talking about this building, our partners there in Northern Ireland, they said they, they confess over our ministry. And really this area that millions of dollars are moving to Marietta to fund this ministry, and that's been their confession over us. And I said, I need to take that and, and bring that back. And so would you agree with us with Sister Mary and Brother Norman there in Northern Ireland, that millions of dollars are moving to Marietta to fund this ministry. And that new building is going to be part of it. And we've really got a clear vision, but it takes the finances to do it. And when that thing is up and running, I tell you, it's going to be a lot easier to do some things that have been on our heart to.
C
Do. Very.
B
True.
C
Yeah. So, you know, one thing about growth is you always have needs. But one thing that we're doing now is I believe for upgrades. Yes. And I know we've talked about that, but I want to encourage the partners. I want you to believe for upgrades in your life, not just your.
B
Needs.
C
Amen. It says that my God supplies how much? All your needs. So you're believing for something that is already covered already. It's just like healing. Please God, heal me. Please God, no. And that's the way that your needs are. Is. So I want to encourage you to believe for upgrades. And the way I. That I say it and the way that you see.
B
It. Amen.
C
Yes. We look at something. Is this a need or is this an upgrade? If it's an upgrade, I'll believe for it. If it's a need, it's covered. So I want to encourage you believe God for things, because needs always have need of more need. That's the way needs are.
B
Right. You can just keep looping, as we.
C
Say. Yeah. Around. Because next month your bills are going to be due. Yeah. And those are what needs are. But. And so you can believe for those. But it's a waste of spiritual time. As Brother.
B
Jesse.
C
Yeah. So I want to encourage you believe for upgrades. And that's what we're doing with.
B
Writing. Right. And when you. When you give. One of the things our staff and our family we believe for is not that your needs are just met. I love to declare that their hearts desires are coming to pass. Because my heart's desires, not just that my needs are met. I mean, my gosh, we're coming up on.
C
Christmas. We don't need to always have more.
B
Need. They always have more.
C
Need. So you're just talking about needs all the.
B
Time. You just keep. Yes. And so once. Once one needs gets taken care of, there's always another one. But heart's desires take us past just the need in front of us. And God just takes and shows us his love and his goodness. When your heart's desire gets met and you realize he's so much bigger than the need, he's so much bigger than the need that's in front of me. He's all about upgrades, desires, big things that we. We would have in our heart and things that we would have the vision for. He's looking to fulfill that. And so we're believing with you today that your heart's desire are. They're coming to pass and, and to at the end of this year, write some things down that are not just a need to be taken care of, but that are a heart's desire, a want. A want. We want that building. We do have some need for it, but I tell you, that building is an upgrade for.
C
Us. It's an upgrade.
B
Yeah. It's going to be a big.
C
Upgrade. And then once we get that, we'll have to upgrade to something else, you.
B
Know. Yes. It'll be an upgraded studio. No longer kind of shoved in a classroom, but a.
C
Real.
B
Yep. Real space.
C
Amen. Real space. So tell them the first we have, we're say one one of our next. Next is January 11th through the 15th with Nancy Dufresne and Bill.
B
Winston.
C
Yes. That man, he's an amazing man. Let's not tell him the rest because those are to be determined. I'm sure there'll be more in there between those.
B
Sections. There.
C
Will.
B
We'll. We're gonna. We'll keep you updated on what's.
C
Coming. But. But the next.
B
One.
C
Yes. If you can be here for. For Pastor Bill, I would highly recommend you be here. He's. He's an.
B
Amazing. And really, we've all kind of been feeding off of. Because of what he's done and expans life. We have really been feeding off of his teaching, his ministry. We don't want to let those things fall by the wayside. But we've been good students in pursuit of this building and the things he's taught. And God spoke to Pastor Nancy to have him come for our Holy Ghost meetings. And she didn't just kind of, you know, want to invite him, but God said to bring him in. So we are expecting to hear from God through both of them this. These next couple of.
C
Weeks. Well, why don't we pray for.
B
Them?
C
Okay. Father, I thank you for everything you've done and everything that you're gonna do for us. Father and I thank you for our partners that they're healed from the top of their.
B
Head.
C
Yes. To the soles of their feet. We say that all their needs are met in Jesus name. And Father, we thank you that you put on them how to believe for upgrades in their life. And we're so blessed for it. And they're so good to us. And we thank you, Father. And we call them blessed. We call their families blessed. Yes, Jesus. Mighty name.
B
Amen.
C
Amen. Anything else that you want to.
B
Say? We love.
C
Y'. All. We love you.
B
Guys. We'll see you.
C
Soon. See you. Bye.
