Nancy Dufresne
Hi, I'm Nancy Dufresne. Welcome to our podcast channel.
Kenneth Copeland
We know you'll be blessed by today's message. Hallelujah. The Lord is wonderful. Things are good. Amen. Things are good. I'm going to say this. I said this this morning, and I want to say it again, because there are a number here that were not here this morning. Those that live by faith, that actually live by faith. Your faith sustains your life. And faith is not just an idea to you. The just, the righteous, live by faith. Those of us that live and walk by faith never have to change our lifestyle because of the tithe. In that way, we are like Jesus. We change. Not if there's any changing to be done, of course we'll do it, but not from that. We don't get off of faith. No, no, no, no, no, no, no. Well, Brother Copeland, I just don't feel like God's with me. Well, that's when you better believe he is.
Nancy Dufresne
Amen.
Kenneth Copeland
You may be seated. Thank you so much for coming tonight. I'm honored to be here, Pastor Nancy. And. You don't think about Ed Dufresne without laughing. I mean, the guy laughed all the time. And Nancy was telling that story this morning. What was funny about that, Nancy, was just as you started talking about it, I started thinking about it. How many of you never, ever met Ed Dufresne? You never met him at all. You missed out. Get his words tied around backwards, put the wrong word in the wrong place. He said to me one time, he said, brother Kenneth, the Lord didn't call me because I was eloquent. Called me because I was available. Only I think he said eloquent. Wasn't eloquent. It was. I've forgotten what he said. Anyway, man, I miss him. He got a tape recorder from us, and back there then, our ministry carried tape recorders. And I knew how wonderful it was for me to have the little Martel because it was battery operated and it was small. Well, then later, Radio Shack came out with a little larger one. It had pretty good quality to it. And so I went to see Radio Shack. If you bought so many of them, you got a discount on them. And, you know, Radio Shack's general headquarters was in Fort Worth. So I went over to the main store there. Jack. Oh, Lord, help me with these things. Jack Rasmussen, my dad. And I went over to my. My dad was helping me in ministry. Then we went over there to see him, made an appointment with him, went to see him. And so I told him what I was doing. And I said, now I'm going, I'm buying these tape recorders. And I explained the tape ministry and all of that and man, it was really going. We were approaching a million tapes a year and so. And we were not bookworms, we were tapeworms. That's right. I'm telling you. Oh, man, I'll tell you. We lived with a tape in your hand and they invented CDs and took a giant step backwards. He can't back that thing up, stop that tape and bag it up and back it and wear it out in one spot. But you can dump those things back down on tape anyway, so. And I talked to Jack about it. I said, if I can buy 50 of these, then I get a better discount on them. He said, well, You're sure you're going to sell that many? I said, yes, sir. How are you so sure? I said, I said something like this because I believe God. Oh, I see. He said, all right, I'm going to give you that discount up front. And he said, I'll keep them. I'll keep them here and when you need them, you come get them. He's trying me on, you know. And so I mean, you know, it was overnight we sent somebody over there to get them and sent somebody over there to get them. And one. But a few days he called and said, forget that, just take the whole 50 recorders. And we were buying them by the. Just bunches of them. And that one of those recorders, that little Radio Shack, it's pretty good sized machine. The little Martell was small, but you could get, put fresh batteries in there. And he'd take that tape recorder and a tape and go out and like Nancy said this morning, he'd take the tape recorder, he'd go to prayer groups, he'd go to churches, he'd go anywhere and he'd say, all right, now listen to this. He'd turn a tape on of me and he'd get through. He'd say, okay, any questions? And he lay hands on the sick, powerful laying on of hand ministry. Just marvelous. And he kept doing that and he's driving all over the place. And one night he started, had his tape recorder in his hand and the Lord said, leave the tape recorder at home. I don't think I want to do that. He was telling me about all this. He said, I did not want to do that. The Lord said, leave the tape recorder at home. And of course, you know what I'm. Same thing happened to me. All that in there came out Hallelujah. Now I was listening to Kenneth E. Hagin tapes night and day. Night. I'm talking night and day. Night and day. And had that little recorder going at night in the car every way. And now we had. We had a nice car, and I was running from God. I did not want to go to Oral Roberts University. I didn't want to go back to school. I didn't like school when I was there the first time. But I. And anyway, we had gone. Let me back up. I was working for my dad. I was in Tyler, Texas, and I called Gloria and I said, gloria, Hilton Sutton and Charles Rogers are having a meeting in Houston. And I really would like to go to that meeting. And I said, I called my dad and I quit my job and told him, I got to get into ministry. I can't do this anymore. So we're going to Houston and went down there. That meeting lasted six weeks. Wow. Now you understand. I'm scripturally illiterate. Baptized in the Holy Ghost. And. Oh, and I. You know, they had me singing and going on, and it was just something. And there's a guy walked up to me. Now there's another part to this story. I really had a hard time.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Cigarettes.
Kenneth Copeland
I fought those things. I didn't know how to be delivered. I hated them. I absolutely hated them. I'd throw them out the window and turn around and try to find them out in the weeds. That's the reason after I got delivered, I carried my New Testament in my pocket right there, bubba, because that's what broke it.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Anyway.
Kenneth Copeland
So I thought, man, I sure don't need these cigarettes in my pocket. So I just stuck them up over the sun of the car. And so I'd been there two weeks, almost. Well, almost three weeks. This man walked up to me and handed me some money. I didn't. I put all the gas I had in that car to get there. Handed me a bunch of money and said, go home. Get your wife, Copeland.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
She needs you to be here.
Kenneth Copeland
Thank you, sir, very much. Amen. I walked out, and I had spent that time in the Word listening to Hilton Sutton preach the word of faith. Praise God. I didn't know that's what you called it. So I went out and got my car. Had a Buick Riviera. It was a nice car. It had some miles on it, but it was one of the old ones, one of the heavy ones, a good car. And I looked up there, and there was those cigarettes. I said, well, look at you. That was the last one right there. That was the last one. Well, we had a wonderful time.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Excuse me.
Kenneth Copeland
Now, hilton sudden, I mean, he. Helped Gloria and me when we didn't have any food. And Gloria and I stood together on the word of God that we would never ever go home to our parents over anything. And we didn't. So Hilton said, kenneth, why don't you just come here and take over the music department of this church? Now I'm thinking, mm, that sure sounds good to me. I said, now or you's first year? I said, hilton, I was thinking maybe the Lord might want me to go to Oral Roberts University. I didn't tell him. He told me to go. He said, kenneth, he said, that's going to be a wonderful school. But he said, son, I can teach you right here everything you need to know. Yeah, that's my deal right there. So, boy, Gloria was there. This thing's working out. How'd that work out for Jonah? So Gloria's mother and dad had moved, and he had taken over the superintendent's schools in Prescott, Arkansas. So here was our plan. We go through from Houston, through East Texas, over to Prescott, spend the night. Gloria's mother and dad drive back to Fort Worth, get all of our things, all of our stuff and go back to Houston. That's my plan. Well, it was October. We left. It was late that night by the time we got out of Houston and got everything, got the kids. And now Kelly was. She was about three. John was four months old. Gloria is in the front seat now. We're in a Buick Riviera, which is. Bucket seat's in the front. Gloria's in the right seat. Kelly is in the back. John is on a pillar between Gloria and me. Gloria had the flu so bad she could hardly hold her head up. And back in those days, I didn't pay any attention to speed limits. Gloria said, you ain't happy unless you're doing Mach 2 with your hair on fire. But. Until the Lord, wow, that's another story. I don't have time to get in there. Well, he told me later, he said, when you got your driver's license, You said you would obey the laws.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Anyway.
Kenneth Copeland
That night, Halloween night.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
1966.
Kenneth Copeland
And we just came over this hill going down into Marshall, Texas. Been a two lane highway till you came up to the. There was a flashing yellow signal. It was flashing red. Now it's late, the middle of the night, it's Halloween night, but it's right about midnight. And there was a Ford station wagon sitting. That highway went like fizz. And this Ford station wagon Was sitting there underneath that red line. And I came down over the top of that hill, and it had a downgrade to it. And I just took my foot off the accelerator and let it coast on in. And I got right up to that car. And suddenly he decided to go across the highway.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, come on, man.
Kenneth Copeland
Of course, I hit the brakes with everything I had swore. Just whirled that thing to the right and he just started across there. I hit him. Let me get up here where you. Where can you see me? My car was going like this and hit him here. Both cars came together. Mine bounced off of his and went over like that and nosed down into a bar ditch. There was concrete in the bottom of that bar ditch, and it just nosed down into it. And. Of course, my side of the car was the one that was damaged. And the door on my side was just hanging there, and I couldn't get it open. And I just hit it like that, and it came open. I got out, went around the other side. Of course, Gloria's side of the car wasn't hurt. I went around to her side, opened the door, set her on a little on the side of the hill there. Got Kelly out of the back. I couldn't find John and finally found him up under the seat in the front seat. Well, The doctor on call that night was an orthopedic surgeon, And he examined John. He said, Now, Mr. Copeland, he said.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Don'T worry about this little fellow.
Kenneth Copeland
He said, his arm is broken and four of his ribs are broken loose in the back. But now he said, he's too small for a cast. He said, I have wrapped it with an ace bandage. But wherever you put him, he won't move now. He said, he may cry, but he won't move. He said, God just built them that way. So they put us in this fairly large room, and we. I was in a rocking chair, and I had John on my chest here like this. And I'm praying in the spirit and I'm rocking him, and he was just up here on my chest like this. Then he'd move a little bit, and I just kept him here and just praying in the spirit.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, God. Oh, God. Oh, God.
Kenneth Copeland
And I thought.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
The whale. The whale got me.
Kenneth Copeland
He just didn't get me good. And I'm just repenting before God. And all of a sudden, I hear two men praying in the spirit behind me. And I thought, I don't know anybody in Marshall, Texas. I know. I don't think my dad does. I had called dad, they're coming over to Pick us up. And there's one over here on this side that's got house slippers and one over here that's barefooted. And both of them praying in tongues. And so John's here. And the anointing of God came. Came down on top of my head. And I thought, oh, that's warm and it's sweet like honey. And it came down over my head and the rest of my body. And when it got down to John, he went to sleep. Kelly was in shock. She went to sleep. And this man said. He leaned over there to me and he said, we'd have been in here sooner, but he said, that old bad nurse there, he said. He said, I'm semly God myself. He said, I got this here church of Christ brother born again and filled with the Holy Ghost. And he said, me and him going around praying for people in the hospital. And he said, that old bad nurse come around and said, if you don't quit that, I'm going to throw you out of this hospital. And he said. He said, I had a truck wreck. It didn't hurt me none, but I had to be in the hospital for observation or they'd take my insurance away from me. Now listen, he said, the Lord told me, he said, there's a family in here that needs to be prayed for. He said, me and him been hid out down there behind the water cooler till she got out of there. Now I told all that I'm kind of going around Laura's house to get there. We went out there the next day and looked at that car. Had the devil had what he planned, nobody but Kelly would have lived in that car. John had gone across that gear shift and routed that gear shift out of the box. When I looked at the door, that was a 54 Buick Riviera. Big, heavy door. When I looked at that door, where I just thought I did this, there was a big dent in that door and I knocked it off the hinges. I had just a little soreness here in my chest. Nothing went out there and looked at it. And the steering wheel was wrapped around the steering post. That's the reason for airbags. That's what brought about the invention of airbags, because people got killed with that steering post hitting you in the chest. It didn't even make me sore. So the only car we had left was Gloria's car. It had 90,000 miles on it when we got it. And I was talking to something about it this morning. It leaked everywhere. So I'm listening to the tapes night and Day, day and night, night and day, day and night, night and day, day and night. So I got a call. I had at this time I hadn't preached anywhere. Just want a little place or two. But hey, I got a call from the Full Gospel Businessmen Fellowship to come to Lubbock, Texas. I was born in Lubbock, Texas. And that got my interest up at the Fers cafeteria. And I knew right where the Fers cafeteria was. I'm going to get to preach. Of course, I didn't live there for six weeks, but anyway, so I'm in Gloria's car and I'm still listening to tapes. I'm listening to tapes and listening to tapes and listening to tapes and listening to tapes. So I got there and hey, there were no alkaline batteries. They were great big fat carbon batteries. And you got a two sided tape, anytime you got to the second side, it's going out like that. So I got a grocery sack full of batteries. I'm investing heavily in batteries. I got to Lubbock and I listened to tapes all the way out there. Listen to Brother Hagin, all the way out to Lubbock. And that night I went to bed listening to Brother Hagin. I hadn't preached anywhere. So now that cafeteria. Now those of you that missed out on the Full Gospel Businessman. Oh, those days, you really missed it.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, my goodness.
Kenneth Copeland
And so the deal was they had the meeting in the cafeteria and then, and my goodness, almost the cafeteria was full of people that came to that meeting. Well, of course they all bought food before. And then they shut the cafeteria down. And then we had our meeting right there, close to the end of it. And up there they came in the door over here. The busboys would come in here, drop off their stuff, go back out this side over here and start again. And they just, you know, they're cleaning the tables. So I started preaching, started preaching and all those tapes came out at once. Now I know how Ed felt. All those tapes came out on faith. I just preach and preach and preach and preach and preach and preach and preach and just, you know, I can't be still when I preach. And so I'm just going, just going, not preaching, just. I don't remember. I said, I'm just preaching faith, just preaching faith, just preaching everything. And so I go over here like this. And so I just went through here and I preached it through the kitchen, all the way through the kitchen. And everybody in the kitchen was watching. And I got through there and some of them in the kitchen, you know, and they Stuck their heads out. That's the way you are when you're a tapeworm. So I started back. It's a long drive from Lubbock to Texas to Tulsa. And I'm driving along there 40 miles an hour, petting this old car. And I thought, huh, you can keep me just as good. You can keep me just, just as good at. Well, the speed limit I think was 65 back then. You can keep me just as good at 65 as you can at 45. That's when he said, I can and will as long as you keep it under the speed limit. He broke me from speeding right there. He said, every time you went driving all that fast like you did, he said you broke the law every time you did it. Every time you did it. You're a lawbreaker. Liar. Uh huh. So I just eased it up there and that thing ran. So we got home and then I was invited to come to Fort Worth and to preach a meeting there locally for pastor. And so there's a young man there in the church. His mother was. His mother was just. She was one of the staples of Grace Temple Church. And Jim Wooten was a mechanic at, I think he was with Ford Motor Company. Anyway, he said, brother Kenneth, he said, I think the Lord wants me to tune up your car. I said, I don't doubt that. So he said, where is it? I said, it's over at my dad's house. Remember, when you live by faith, praise God. I said, it's over there by my dad. It's at my dad's house. He said, okay, I'll go over there and get it now. He said, I'll take it to my house. Because he said, of course, I can't do it on the job. But he said, I'll take it to my house and I'll tune it up for you and take it back. And so when I got back, my car was there and I thought, well, Jim, he came to me and he said, Did you drive that car in here? I said, yeah. Was it running okay? I said, yeah, Jim, it's running great. Now. This was just right after I got off that trip. Why? Well, Now in a distributor, as that distributor swings around, there's a little stainless steel blade with carbon points on it. That's what makes it fire. He said, kenneth, the points weren't worn down. There were no there. There was none there. That car ran excellently. Absolute miracle. Those that live by faith. But you can't break the law and make it work. Amen. Well, I didn't plan to get into all that, but, you know, I enjoyed hearing it, so I thank you, Jesus. Praise you, Lord. Father, we thank you tonight for the faith of God and the faithfulness of God. You're our God and we're your people. And we praise you and thank you tonight. Yes, We need to pray for the president right now. This came up. This came up this afternoon.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
And.
Kenneth Copeland
I've been dealing with this in my spirit for three years. Somebody's going to try to kill him. I've been standing against it for three years. And then others have said that, no, you don't. Satan, who do you think you are? You don't touch Donald John Trump. God's anointed. You don't touch him. You can't have him.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Father. They can't do it.
Kenneth Copeland
They cannot do it. They cannot. They cannot do it. They can't kill this man. Oh, no.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Lord God. Lord God.
Kenneth Copeland
No, not again.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
We're not having this. Whoa.
Kenneth Copeland
Whoa.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus. Thank you. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Open your Bibles with me tonight to.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
The book of Hebrews.
Kenneth Copeland
Chapter six. Let's back up. You know, the beginning of chapter six starts with therefore. So let's back up into that fifth chapter just a little bit here. Verse 12. For when. For the time you ought to be teachers you have need that one teach you again which be the first principles of the oracles of God. It'd be good for you to underline that, if you haven't already, particularly where we're going. Tonight's message. And are become such as have need of milk and not strong meat. For everyone that uses milk is unskillful in the word of righteousness, for he is a baby. But strong meat belong to them that are of full age. Even those who by reason of use have their senses exercised to discern both good and evil. Therefore, leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ, let us go on to perfection. Let us go on to maturity. Maturity. Not laying again the foundation of repentance from dead works. Faith toward God, the doctrine of baptisms, laying on of hands and resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment. Now back up here. Leaving the principles of the doctrine of Christ. Say it like this. Leaving the fundamental principles of the doctrine or the teachings of Christ. This is important. Yes, it is. I heard brother Hagin say this. And I. Oh, my. And the Lord stirred me up again over this. He said, these things are sacred. These are the fundamental principles of the doctrines of Christ, the Messiah, the Jesus God. The fundamental principles the Basic fundamental principles of the Anointed One. Then he said, now, let's go on to maturity. Well, brother Copeland, this is baby stuff. No, it's baby stuff until you get on it. And I got reprimanded for this big time. And you know the game. He gets on me, I get on you. Repentance from dead works. Faith towards God. The doctrine of baptisms, laying on of hands, resurrection of the dead and eternal judgment. Repentance from dead works. Dead works. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof. Now, you talk about that and there are people in that place that lay hands on folks. It's a ritual. Means very little. I like what Brother Hagin said about it. Laying empty hands on empty heads. Doesn't mean anything. It's just something that we do. Now, what would you think if I said, well, you know, I don't know about that faith towards God business. And after all, you name it, claim it, blab it, grab it. Folks, he's, ah, you know. Well, let me tell you something, sweetheart. I named it, claimed it, blabbed it, grabbed it, and I still got it. That's important. Faith towards God. Well, what is your faith? What are you, Catholic Faith? Are you? Well, I mean, that's fine, but that's not what this is talking about. That isn't what this is talking about at all. No, this is talking about this powerful thing that Jesus talked about a lot. This powerful spiritual force that's generated in the spirit of a born again human being. Powerful force. Well, the doctrine of baptisms. Now you look that up in the Greek and it says baptisms. It's in Greek. But you. I mean, when it phonetically out in English letters, you can look at it and tell it's baptism. And people get that messed up. I won't go into all that. But there's more than one baptism proven by the scripture. When you got born again, you were baptized into the body of Christ and then baptized in water. These are solemn things. Baptism in water. Outward signs, inward grace.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, Lord, I love it.
Kenneth Copeland
And I think about. Oh, Nancy, I think about those motorcycle rallies that we had back there. And we had so many people come to those things. And I mean, we were baptizing outlaw bikers and Mac Gover and Ben Preece and. And Jerry Savelle and Jesse Duplantis. And I mean, we baptized one time. What was it, David? Something like 900 people like that. And I was thinking about the dog. And this woman brought her dog out there and that dog was kind of gnarling Up. He didn't know whether he wanted to be baptized or not. And Mac over. God bless him. He's in heaven. Oh, Mac, I miss you, brother. He said, oh, that's all right. I'll baptize that dog. Give me that dog. He didn't baptize that dog. That dog. Baptisms. And of course, there's a baptism of the spirit. Amen. Oh, glory to God. And the laying on of hands. Resurrection of the dead. It didn't say resurrections. Resurrection of the dead. There's more than one. And I don't have time to get into all of the resurrections, Study them out. There's the first resurrection, then the second resurrection. Oh, you don't want to be part of that second. Uh, you and I are going in the first load.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
Kenneth Copeland
Soon it will be coming today. And eternal judgment. I heard Brother Hagin say this, and I. And I'm. All afternoon, all afternoon, again and again. I was listening to the tape. I've listened to it I don't know how many times I've listened to it. I mentioned it tonight to Pastor Nancy Chief, and she said it back to me. She said, that's what Brother Hagin said. I said, where do you think I got it? When the Lord Jesus appeared to him. And told him that, you're going to have to tell this. You're going to tell. Have to tell people that you saw me, and you have to tell people that laid my hand in your hands and so forth and so on. And he said. He said, give this to somebody else. He said, just give it to somebody else. He said, of course, Jesus knew exactly what he was thinking, that they're going to criticize you. And he said. He said, who called you? He said, you did. They didn't call you. I did. And when they criticize you, they judge you. I'll judge them. They'll have to stand judgment. And then he let him know, you're going to have to stand judgment if you don't do it. Now. And that just got hold of me today again. Really?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Just really.
Kenneth Copeland
Everybody, everyone that's criticized Gloria and me for preaching prosperity, they're going to have to face judgment over me. That's right. That's right, sir. Yeah. Amen. Now, all judgment isn't at the end.
Nancy Dufresne
Come on, come on, come on.
Kenneth Copeland
That's right. Present time, judgment, function of seedtime and harvest. And you remember that. Jesus said, judge not lest you be judged. And the way you measure it, it'll be measured back to you. And it's so easy to do.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Well.
Kenneth Copeland
Now you know how I love Pastor. When they start that, just brace up. Yes, sir. That's right. If I'd have been Pastor Nancy, I wouldn't have done it like that, you dummy. If you'd have been Pastor Nancy, that's exactly what you would have done. Come on, sir. Amen. Excuse me for calling you a dummy. That's unscriptural, meathead. That's scriptural. Carnal minded. Do I have any Hispanics in here right now? Oh, yeah.
Nancy Dufresne
Carne.
Kenneth Copeland
Carne. Uh huh.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Meat.
Kenneth Copeland
Chile con carne.
Nancy Dufresne
Chili with meat.
Kenneth Copeland
Chili with meat.
Nancy Dufresne
With meat.
Kenneth Copeland
Carnal minded. Meathead.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Meathead.
Kenneth Copeland
Muchas gracias, Yoruba. Oh, yeah. Thank youk, lord. I. By saying, if I had been her, I would not have done that. That way you just judged what she did. But quite a commitment. Don't Brother Copeland me. Yeah, but I didn't mean to. Well, yeah, right. If you didn't mean to. Repent and shut up. That's right. Yeah. Excuse me. Repent and hush. No, shut up sounds better. I like shut up better. There is an age where you get. You can get away with nearly anything. Somebody said, copeland, you old school. I'm old and I went to school. Amen. Oh, glory to God. Yeah. Thank you, Lord. In my opinion. I don't usually give my opinion, but in my opinion, judgment is the most dangerous. It will get you into trouble. And it has a tendency to just continue. You just keep in it, just stay in it. You don't know you're in it. And then people around you are dying and you don't know why.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Yes, sir. Amen.
Kenneth Copeland
You start feeling sorry for yourself. Don't ever do that. Don't ever do that.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
No.
Kenneth Copeland
That. Feeling sorry for yourself is a form of depression. And depression is grief. Depression is grieving over something you haven't lost. Nobody cares for me. Well, I care for. No, you don't. Well, yeah, I care. No, you don't. You don't care for me. I do care. No, you don't. Come on. Anyway, the laying on of hands. Luke, chapter four. Oh, lord. Verse. Let's see. Lord.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
What do you want me to start? Okay.
Kenneth Copeland
Verse 38. He arose out of the synagogue and entered into Simon's house. Now, Jesus hadn't changed his name yet. That's fundamental in covenant. Now, in all of this that we're talking about. Don't let covenant get away from your mind. Entered into Simon's house. Simon's wife's mother was taken with a great fever. And they besought him for her. He stood over her, rebuked the fever, and it left her. And immediately she arose and ministered unto them. Now, when the sun was setting, all they that had any sick with different diseases brought them unto him. And he laid his hands on every one of them and healed them. He laid his hands on every one of them and healed them. Oh, I love him and I love it. Hallelujah. Now, Luke chapter 13, Verse 10. Jesus was teaching in one of the synagogues on the Sabbath. And behold. Now what does behold mean? Look. So look. Form it up in your mind. Look. There was a woman which had a spirit of infirmity 18 years, was bowed over, and could in no wise lift up her herself. When Jesus saw her, he called her to him and said unto her, woman, thou art loosed from thine infirmity. And he laid his hands on her, and immediately she was made straight and glorified God. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. First Timothy 5:22. Lay hands suddenly on no man neither be partaker of another man's sin. Keep yourself pure. Acts 28:8. It came to pass the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and a bloody flux, to whom Paul entered in, prayed and laid his hands on him and healed him. And Acts 13:3. And when they had fasted and prayed, they laid their hands on them, and they sent them away. God uses people's hands. Amen. Gloria has a powerful ministry of laying hands. When I'm in a prayer line with her and she's laying hands on people, I just stay out of the way. I just support her, maybe put my hands on her, or I may reach across her. But, oh, hadn't some fellow said to me one time, I just don't know whether I like a woman preacher laying their hands on me or not. And I said, well, Did your mother lay hands on you when you were a kid and you were six? He said, well, yeah.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, yeah.
Kenneth Copeland
He said, I get. Didn't say men's hands or women's hands. It said, hands, hands. Neglect not the gift that is in thee, which was given thee by prophecy, with the laying on of hands of the presbytery. All these signs shall follow them that believe in my name. They shall cast out devils. They shall speak with new tongues. They shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover. Who? The believer. The believer. It's a sign among believers. Believers. Men, women, children, believers. When Paul had laid his hands upon the Acts 19:6, the Holy Ghost came on them. And they spoke with tongues and prophesied Acts 9:17. Ananias went his way and entered into the house, putting his hands on him, said, brother Saul, the Lord, even Jesus, that appeared unto thee in the way as thou comest, hath sent me that you might receive thy sight and be filled with the Holy Ghost. We know he spoke in tongues because he said, I speak in tongues more than you ought. Actually, if you look that he said, I spoke in tongues more than all.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Of you put together.
Kenneth Copeland
Acts 8:17. They laid their hands on them and they received the Holy Ghost. James 5:14. Is any sick among you? Let him call on the elders of the church. Let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. Well, how are you going to anoint somebody with oil? You're just going to pour it on him, walk off. And the prayer of faith shows. I have a case with the King James translation on the word heal. In the Greek, it's sozo. Sometimes it's translated heal, sometimes it translated save. Boy, we could have stopped small wars with that. Well, we only preach salvation. We don't preach healing. Really. I heard brother Hagin say, well, we just don't believe in that healing much. He said, don't worry, you won't be bothered with it. But in the Greek, that's the reason Greek speaking people had no trouble with that. You get saved, you get healed. Because the word was sozo. Healed, delivered, soundness. All of those wrapped up in that one Greek word. Now I have the pleasure. My granddaughter Jenny started an orphanage in Greece and. She met this young man. I had the privilege of marrying them. Now I had to work on her last name and to be able to say it smoothly. Now I started laughing. I won't be able to do it. Now, don't smile at me. Did you hear what I said? Now don't be doing that, Jenny. Papa Pistolou. Outstanding young man. And his name is Elias. You can find that in the New Testament. Anyway, so Jenny had always said, now at our prayer cabin, you've seen us at our prayer cabin in Arkansas, right across from the house, there's in some tall cedar trees over there, there's just a square cutout. It looks like somebody at some time had maybe, maybe they started to build a house there. You know, we have no idea. But it's just a square place in there. And when Jenny was just a little girl, she would go over there and she would say, one of these days I'm going to get married in that spot. Because all the kids love to go to Centerpoint. That's just a little town just there. Gloria was born in Centerpoint during World War II. And so at her grandmother's house, well, she kept saying that I'm going to get married in that spot. Well, now she's in Greece. But no, she's going to get married in that spot and I'm going to do it. Well, a string of miracles took place. He got a special job and hey, in Greece they don't care whether you get married or not. And traditionally there the man takes the wife's name. Well now his mother and dad pastor a church and there was no way they were going to go for that. And so. And his mother learned English reading our books with a dictionary. And of course Elias learned it. Elias learned it in school. I mean it's required now, you have to learn English. So I married them and it was gorgeous, just beautiful out there. And so I've stuck a handful of hundred dollar bills in my pocket. And so after, and they were leaving that night and so I just walked up and stuck it in Jenny's hands. I don't remember what it was. 5, 4, $500, whatever it was. She said, oh papa. And she started to pray. She said, no, you pray well, he's big, tall guy. And he said, okay, but do you mind if I pray in Greek? And he got through. I'm telling you, my goosebumps were double part. And I looked at Jenny, I said, girl, been prayed for in the mother tongue, Isn't that great? And laid hands on them and blessed them. The laying on of hands is used, of course, ministering to the sick. But the laying on of hands was.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Used.
Kenneth Copeland
From what I can see and what I can tell, far more in blessing than in healing the sick. Now you go back through both covenants. The blessing of the Lord, The blessing of the patriarchs, Bringing the blessing forward by laying on of hands. Moses laid hands on Joshua. Hallelujah. The laying on of hands. The doctrine of the laying on of hands.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Very sacred thing.
Kenneth Copeland
Amen. However, it can be. Mocked. Very dangerous thing to do. They mocked Jesus. He's laying hands on people, healing them. And they said he has a devil. Uh oh, that's bad, the laying on of hands. Isn't it wonderful? He just now, I've been doing this a long time. I first learned laying hands on the sick from Oral Roberts. Watching him, He, He had to have surgery on his shoulders. Well, I don't understand that. A man that's laid hands on the sick, I don't understand why he had to have surgery healing Is not a reward. You go lay hands on 2 million people and see what happens to your shoulders. He was having trouble with his appendix, and they had him in the hospital, and it was all swollen up and. Swollen up, swelled up, swollen up, puffed up. How's that? And so. And the doctors were looking at it on the screen, and he's in here on the table there, and they're looking at it up on the screen, and he's just lying there. And he said, now, Jesus, In the book of Philippians, no one's communicated with me in giving and receiving but you. Only that word can be translated. Receding. And oral said, jesus, I'm cashing a receipt. Now. It's not right. My appendix will not be operated. I've had all the operations I'm going to have. And that doctor said, wait a minute. Did you see that? I think it was Richard in there with him. He said, yeah, I saw that. What happened? The appendix issue. He called me one day. Oh, he was. He was sorely upset. I answered the phone. He said, kenneth, I said, what? He said, now, back in the early days of stents, they put a stent in an artery. Well, you couldn't slow him down. He just. He just went night and day. He just. All the time. He could not slow the man down. And this thing had a lifespan on it, this stem, 20 years, something like 20 year lifespan. And they wanted to go in there and put in a new one. It had no lifespan on it. And he's just going on about it. Do you know what they said to me?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
I said, well, no.
Kenneth Copeland
He said, kenneth, do you know what they said to me? I said, no. What did they say? They said, oral, why don't you just relax and just take it easy and just take your medicine and don't get that stent changed. It's too risky. Too risky. He was mad. He said, oral Roberts not want to take a risk. Why? He was just livid. Of course, he outlived most of them well into his 90s. What, 92, 94. 94, I believe. Amen. When Ms. Evelyn went home, Evelyn Roberts, she already had her funeral planned out. She's one of those people that just. She said she had to. Oral wouldn't plan anything. And so she had me speaking, and she had Billy Joe doing the graveside service and everything. Well, she had a. She was on a walker, and she was getting out of the car and stumbled with that walker and hit her head over on the concrete. There's very little wrong with it. She was just her legs were weak. Wasn't anything wrong with her body at all. So the graveside service was very private to this family. And Billy Joe Daugherty was doing it. And Nancy, I was sitting right in front of Billy Joe, behind Oral. And it's very small, and I don't remember now what Billy Joe was saying. But anyway, Oral, they had to. They carried him. Almost carried him in there, set him down. Now, you know, seed, time and harvest. Did you know that Oral Roberts got ahold of seedtime and Harvest before he did the healing ministry? Yeah, I don't have time to tell you that story, but. Oh, that's where I learned about seed, time and harvest, so. And he's the one that taught me. Oral Roberts, Kenneth Hagin and T.L. osborne taught me concerning godly wealth. Anyway, he said, billy Joe, I'm just planting my most precious seed. Well, it just went on me. So then they had the memorial service. Then there was a little while after that. Of course, it was there at Mabe center now. And I thought, you know. And they brought a large chair up on the platform in which for him to sit. And I thought, well, I think I'll mention to him maybe. Maybe he'll want to say something. And about that time, somebody walked up to me and said, you might want to ask him to say something. I don't much think he would. I said, okay, yeah, I will. And I didn't talk all that long now. They almost carried him in there that.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Morning.
Kenneth Copeland
And he's sitting over there in that chair. I said, sir, you have something you'd like to say to this? Yes, I do. And he began to talk about death. He began to talk about different aspects of death. And the more he talked, the louder he got and the stronger he became. And he just said, this is a man lived by faith. And he talked for about 45 minutes. And then he said, if you think Oral Roberts is just going to sit down and take it easy, you have another think coming. And he grabbed the arms of that chair and he jumped up and he said, I'm going to preach this gospel till I die. And he did.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
He did.
Kenneth Copeland
This man, I learned from him the laying on of hands in the invalid room. My first time in there, Colin Steele, the man that was manager of the. All of the meeting equipment and so forth, came to me. He said, now, Kenneth, he explained the envelope. He said, now, you hear on the system the speakers, and you write down the points of his message. And then you're going to have five to seven minutes there before he gets in there and you prepare the people to have hands laid on them. Okay, so this is my first time in there. And stand up here, David, and let me demonstrate with you. So he walked in there, and when he did, I stepped back out of the way. And so he looked at everybody. And we had quite a lot of. Quite a few people in there. And he came over there to me and he said, now, he went like this. He said, now you're going to do the praying and you're going to do the laying on of hands. I could feel all the color going out of my face. And he laughed. He said, don't worry about it. He said, I'll be there. If you make a mistake, I'll fix it. Now listen to what he said, Nancy. He said, don't touch him. Ready to release your faith? I'm still that way today. The laying on of hands. There was a woman. I had my eye on her. She was on an old army cot. Her nurse was there with her. I'm having to guess at her age, I would guess her. Oh, At least in her 70s now. Little old Tommy pooched out there. And she was so weak, her nurse. When we started over there to lay hands on her, her nurse put her hand in there under her back like that, she was so weak. Laying on of hands. Are you with me now? And so we headed right straight to her. I still didn't know I'm. Don't touch them until you're ready to release.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Don't touch them.
Kenneth Copeland
Well, I was studying Brother Hagin's tapes on the power and authority invested in the name of Jesus. He got it by inheritance. It was conferred upon him and he won it by awesome combat in hell. The power and authority in his name. Then I thought, that's it, that's it. Now he preached on the point of contact. The name I want. I'll release my faith with the name. I walked up there to her. He's standing right here. And I walked over there. The nurse is here, she's here. He's standing here. And it's a little screwed around there. When we walked over there to that cotton, I was positioned there where I was actually in front of her and her nurses over here holding her up. Anyway, and so I said, in the name of Jesus from right here. Now you. It's impossible to imitate this because when it has the anointing on it, dear.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
God, I thought, my God, my God.
Kenneth Copeland
My God, the lion of the tribe.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Of Judah has roared.
Kenneth Copeland
Now, I've still got my Hand on her. You foul, unclean spirit, take your. In the name of Jesus, whose I am and whom I serve, take your hands off God's property now. She went and spit that tumor out on the floor and jumped up and ran off of that bed. Her nurse chasing her. Thanks. Going to die any second.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Dear Lord. Here, go there.
Kenneth Copeland
The hands are a point of contact. Now, Oral Roberts coined that phrase, and he said this. There must be a point where you release your faith, whatever it is. He said, faith has to come to a climax and it has to come to a place where it explodes. Gloria called it boiling over. It's just. It's not something you feel. And Brother Roberts would explain, excuse me, like this. When it comes where you know in your knower, you know that you know that you know, you know, you know that you know, you know, you know that that you know you just know, you know that you know you know. And when you know you know that you know you know you know. Something's about to happen. Now, Brother Hagin. Jesus caught him up into heaven itself, laid his hand, put his finger in the palms of his hand, and his hands began to burn. I've never had that. I don't have to have that. But now I'm about to confess something to you. And I told you I got in trouble, and I got in trouble right here. And the Lord dealt with me over this, over the years, and I just pushed it aside. And the Lord said, I have called you and anointed you, and I've given you a special anointing to minister to the sick. Well, I don't know how many times.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
I'd listen to that.
Kenneth Copeland
I listened to it over and over and over and listened to it over. I heard it again this afternoon because Brother Hagin lives in my phone and in my iPad. Amen. He's right in there in that iPad. I was in a time of prayer and worshiping the Lord. June 28, 1987, minutes after midnight. His presence filled my spirit and he began speaking to me. He ministered to me and began asking questions me about some things I prayed about. Now, I kept this all these years, and I let it get away from me. I didn't want to do it. Right in the middle of the night. In fact, I was up there at.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
The prayer cabin.
Kenneth Copeland
Midnight, and all of a sudden. Stand upright on your feet, man. I jumped up and stood at attention. I commission you to lay hands on the sick with a special anointing. Then he began to talk to me about some things. Then he said, Lay these hands on the sick. No sickness or disease shall be able to stand before you. Your words shall be my words. Your thoughts shall be my thoughts. Receive my anointing. That sounded so much like what he said to Brother Hagin. I just didn't want to say it publicly. And then I let it slip. And he started talking to me about this some time ago. And then I started struggled with it and I talked to several about it. I talked to Jerry about it. I talked to Keith Moore about it. It bothered me because. But then the Lord said. He said consensually the same thing that he said to Brother Hagin. Who called you? You're not Kenneth Hagin. You're Kenneth Copeland. I called you.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
You.
Kenneth Copeland
I said that to you. And I had to repent. And I repent before you.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Amen.
Kenneth Copeland
Is there anyone in here that desires to have hands laid on you because you need healing in your body? Now think about this. Don't come up for somebody else. You can pray for somebody else. You can get a prayer cloth. There's some of the dumb come up. I've had people do this, come up and say, I had this happen in Jesse Duplantis Church. And I knew then I had this on my mind, but I didn't say it to them. But healing for your heart, and they came up there with all kinds of different things. That's dangerous. You're coming up there under false pretenses. Well, yeah, but Brother Copeland, my uncle needs healing. And I said, well, I'm not. I didn't maybe make it clear enough. I don't know. But anyone at all that needs healing in your body right now, for any reason, and you would like my to lay hands on you tonight. Anyone at all? Those that raised your hands, stand up. One more time. Anyone at all. Okay. No one else. Now, I'm going to turn this over to Barry and the ushers and David and Pastor Nancy to arrange this. Shall we move this podium over and line up on that side, please? Thank you, jesus. Thank you, jesus. He touched me and made me whole. Thank you, Lord. Now, don't just be a spectator. I'll tell you what Brother Roberts would say. He would say, join me in this. You lay hands on the back of the seat, or you lay hands on someone close to you and join your faith to mine.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Isn't that good?
Kenneth Copeland
Now, see, that in itself would take care of all of the other things. If people just listen to that, you can sit right there and get healed. You get to thinking, I should have gotten that line. I Was too slow. Well, receive it right where you are. You don't have to be in the line. That's right. Amen.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord.
Kenneth Copeland
Would you scoot back just. And give me a little bit of room here?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you.
Kenneth Copeland
What'd you come for, sir? According to the word of the living God, as a minister of the gospel of the Lord Jesus Christ, according to his command in my life, I set my hands on you, brother, in the name of Jesus. Receive your healing now.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Lord.
Kenneth Copeland
Thank you, Lord Jesus. Nancy, I'm going to need your help, please.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
What did you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
I'm having some gastrointestinal issues and some lower pelvic pain.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Not anymore, you know. Amen.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, glory to God. Glory to God.
Kenneth Copeland
Not this last Southwest Believers Convention, but the one before a. I walked over to an area. Let me get up here. Where people see me. I walked over to an area where wheelchairs were, and Gloria was right behind me. And I was just. I was just led to this elderly black woman. And I could see it was her daughter or granddaughter or somebody that was behind her. And she had dark glasses on. And so took her glasses off and I said, may I do what Jesus did? She said, by all means. So I went and put my hands on her eyes and just held them there until I was aware of the anointing of. And I took my hands off and I said, what do you see? She said, I see you. Come to find out she had double vision so bad she couldn't tell. And she was pastor of a church. Nancy. She couldn't. She was 70. What was it? She is 75 and doing fine. She'd been about to be 78, going straight. And so she said she had double vision so bad she couldn't see. She was legally blind. So that was on Saturday night. So Sunday she came to church and passed and testified before the whole church. And George said, do you see the clock? And she said, well, of course I see the clock. Amen. Listen, what you come for, sweetheart?
Nancy Dufresne
For my shoulder.
Kenneth Copeland
Your shoulder? Yeah.
Nancy Dufresne
The car accident.
Kenneth Copeland
Huh?
Nancy Dufresne
It was from a car accident.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
I can't hear you, sweetheart.
Nancy Dufresne
From a car accident. It just hasn't been the same since.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
You're going to have to talk up where I can hear you. Can you hear me? I need to hear you. Okay.
Kenneth Copeland
Oh, Jesus. Glory to God. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Praise you, Lord. What'd you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
I fractured my rib two weeks ago.
Kenneth Copeland
Well, you shouldn't have done that.
Nancy Dufresne
I don't, but I Am healed.
Kenneth Copeland
Yes.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Yes.
Kenneth Copeland
Nancy, would you put your hand there under that rib? But it's issued Romans. Come on. Come on, folks. Pray with me. Pray in the spirit with me.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Lord Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
There's something about you. Something about you banging into a door or.
Nancy Dufresne
That happened a month ago.
Kenneth Copeland
That happened a month ago.
Nancy Dufresne
The devil's after me, but he can't.
Kenneth Copeland
Well, he can't have you.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Thank you, Jesus. What you come for, dear? Oh, hang on here till we find out.
Nancy Dufresne
Hearing and in my vision.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Yes.
Nancy Dufresne
And to restoration.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Total restoration.
Nancy Dufresne
There's too much work to be done.
Kenneth Copeland
Isaiah 42. Isaiah began to prophesy. The 42nd chapter of Isaiah. And it's about the 22nd verse. He said there was no one to say restore. On my birthday, December 6, the Lord woke me up and he said, 20, 21 will be a year of divine health, divine healing, divine prosperity and divine restoration. And it's come right now. Yeah. Restore. Restore. Restore. I say restore. Over your house. I say recover. Over your house. And today is the day. Today is the day. Today is the day. Yes. What did you come for?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father. Thank you, Father.
Kenneth Copeland
Place your leg cramps in her feet, Nancy.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. All right, all right. All right.
Kenneth Copeland
You're deficient in magnesium. You don't need healing. You're deficient in magnesium. So get you some magnesium and take it before you go to bed. Anything else? Thank you, Jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
What'd you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
I need to have surgery because I've had six kids and things are not in the right place. And I've also come because I have several issues with my feet that have a lot of pain when I'm wearing shoes.
Kenneth Copeland
Come on, folks. Come on, folks.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Come on, folks.
Kenneth Copeland
Come on, folks. So today.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Hallelujah. What'd you come for, sir? I have this cold that keeps lingering. It doesn't go away. Well, you can't have that. That's a virus.
Kenneth Copeland
It is a coronavirus. Now, I didn't know that till all this other start.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus. Oh, say it again, Lord, please. That.
Kenneth Copeland
I curse.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
That virus life.
Kenneth Copeland
You will never enter this body again.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
No, you won't. No, you won't. In Jesus name. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.
Kenneth Copeland
Shoulders.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Jesus. There it is.
Kenneth Copeland
That's it.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, glory to God. Glory to God. Glory to God. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
May I lay hands on you. Is it okay?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Father. Bless my little sister in the name of Jesus. Jesus. All the days of its life healed and well to know you and to live for you all of her life. In Jesus name. Thank you, Lord. What'd you come for? I think it's acid reflux. Jesus. Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord. What'd you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
Apparently I have, like, osteo or something. Shouldn't be as fond as it is. My spine. Lots of cramps. My leg.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Jesus. Oh, my, my, my, my. Glory to God. Thank youk, Jesus. That's your healing sister right there. Glory to God.
Kenneth Copeland
Yes, well, there's more in there than that. I mean, there's other things going on, so I'm gonna say it this way. Receive your healing from the crown of.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Your head to the soles of your feet.
Kenneth Copeland
Every bit whole.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Every bit whole.
Kenneth Copeland
Now, you remember Abraham called things that be not as though they were so. Say this. I call myself well. I call myself healed. My head's healed. My throat's healed. My back's healed. My feet are healed. And all in between is healed. I receive it. And don't let anything else get in your mouth. I call myself well. I call myself well, well, well. Yeah, all is well in the household of faith. Amen.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Glory to God. What'd you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
I slept wrong on my shoulder like about a year ago. And I think I pulled, like a muscle or something and been breathing for it.
Kenneth Copeland
Has that got pain in it there?
Nancy Dufresne
No, Jesus. I don't feel pain anymore. I don't feel free anymore.
Kenneth Copeland
Huh?
Nancy Dufresne
I don't feel the pain anymore.
Kenneth Copeland
What is it?
Nancy Dufresne
I don't feel any pain anymore.
Kenneth Copeland
What you say?
Nancy Dufresne
I don't feel any pain.
Kenneth Copeland
Well, then what are you doing up here? Come on. Give the Lord praise. Give the Lord praise. Glory to God. Hallelujah. What'd you come for, dear?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Right in there, Nancy.
Kenneth Copeland
Yeah. Whoa. Whoa. Glory to God. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Lord. Lord Jesus. What'd you come for, sweetheart?
Nancy Dufresne
My back and my neck.
Kenneth Copeland
Your back and your neck?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Yes. Okay. In the name. In the name. Now, wait a minute. Look at me, sweetheart.
Kenneth Copeland
You've got some fear about you, and I don't know what you concerned about. I don't know whether it's school or a boy. Surely not. But there's something concerning you.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
And Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Already knows about it, already has it in hand. But it's Important for you to roll the care of it over on him. Amen. Care is just simply worry and concern.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Don't carry that.
Kenneth Copeland
It'll cause your body to tighten up. And there's the power.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, God. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
No, you're not going to be sick. No, you're not.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
That's his power right there. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
And just say this. I refuse to fear. I'm not afraid of anything, especially the devil. And you're healed.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you. In Jesus name.
Kenneth Copeland
Thank you.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
What'd you come for, dear?
Nancy Dufresne
Arthritis, I believe. I can't move my right hand. And I'm having trouble going up and down stairs because of my knees, so especially my left arm, but I can't.
Kenneth Copeland
What seems to be wrong with your right hand?
Nancy Dufresne
I can't. I don't know if it's arthritis or what it is, but I can't.
Kenneth Copeland
I can't.
Nancy Dufresne
I haven't been able to bend it or grip.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Okay. Okay.
Kenneth Copeland
Now.
Nancy Dufresne
Pain?
Kenneth Copeland
No, you've told me about it.
Nancy Dufresne
Yes.
Kenneth Copeland
So don't say anymore. I can't. Okay.
Nancy Dufresne
Yes, sir.
Kenneth Copeland
Now I know about it.
Nancy Dufresne
Yes.
Kenneth Copeland
So you don't have to say that anymore. Now, in the name of Jesus, you can move your hand. And you will move your hand. You can and you will, in the name of Jesus. Because you can do all things through.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Christ who strengthens you.
Kenneth Copeland
And you can move your hands.
Nancy Dufresne
I can.
Kenneth Copeland
Just turn around there and show somebody. Now, somebody flashed across your mind. Well, that's just the power of suggestion. You want to come up here and suggest it. All you had, all you had to do was to cooperate with the anointing that's in me and on me by changing, by saying I can. And it worked. Now, don't say anything else. Remember what Gloria said. You got to say something.
Nancy Dufresne
Say the right thing. Yes. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
Kenneth Copeland
Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. No, we need to deal with the legs. We don't need to deal with the legs. Go sit down. Yes. Amen. Thank you, Jesus. Praise you, Lord Jesus. What'd you come for?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Heart and lungs.
Kenneth Copeland
In the name that's above every name that's named in the name of Jesus. And all that's been wrong in this body, you bow your knee to that name because you're a name.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name.
Kenneth Copeland
Now bend over towards me a little bit in the. Oh, yeah.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Ah. Now tell me about it. Is it good? Yes, it's good. Give the Lord Praise. Just give him praise. Yeah. Glory to God. What'd you come for, dear?
Nancy Dufresne
I have thyroid disease.
Kenneth Copeland
No, you don't. Yeah, I understand. The word have is the most powerful word. Very powerful word. I have two extremely powerful words in the English language. The word be and have. I have, I don't have. And that word be, be made whole. Be. I was in Little Rock, Arkansas, and about 4 o' clock in the morning, I was preaching there for Happy Colwood. And I just. I didn't sit straight up in the bed. I was just woke up and my. My neck just went forward like that. And there was Jesus right at the foot of the bed. And he had this big tray, a big. I mean, this thing was so big. It was like this. And it was full of cookies. And he was frowning. Somebody with cookies doesn't usually frown. He said, kenneth, have a cookie. And I said. He said, your response is, I believe, I will. I have it. Thank you. And he's gone. And then I was just. I was lying there meditating on that and in my spirit. Then I saw myself go into a party and someone came up to me and said, have a cookie. I said, no, thank you. I have a cookie. He said, here's the six I's of faith. I believe, I will. I take it, I have it. I'm grateful for it and I forgive. The six I's of faith. I had it in the name. Help me, Nancy, in the name of Jesus. All right, you just say, I take it, it's mine. I believe. I receive it now in Jesus name. I have my healing.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Glory be to God. Yes, yes, I have it. I have it. It's mine.
Kenneth Copeland
And so I started practicing that I.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Believe, I will.
Kenneth Copeland
I take it, I have it.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
I have faith in God and I'm.
Kenneth Copeland
Very grateful for it.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
And I forgive if I have ought against it.
Kenneth Copeland
Huh? I have it. What'd you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
The meniscus in my left knee. I torn it when I was praise dancing at my church. And it's just very difficult to move around without tightness or pain. And it gets really swollen.
Kenneth Copeland
Yeah, I understand that. I did the same thing. I took off running across the platform. You don't do that when you're as old as I am. But I did it. You understand? Right.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Now.
Kenneth Copeland
I speak to the swelling and I command you to go away. Get out of there right now in.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
The name of Jesus and heal. I give him praise.
Kenneth Copeland
Thank him and.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Worship him for it in the name.
Kenneth Copeland
Yeah, I'll do that. Come on down here. The anointing on me right now is very, very, very strong. Come, please.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Come, please. Come please. Quickly. In the name. In the name. In the name. In the name.
Kenneth Copeland
Oh, in the name. Oh, in the name. In the. Oh, in the name. Hi, sweet thing, how are you? Are you all right? Do you need hands laid on you? In the name of Jesus. In the name.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, thank you, Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
In the name of Jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, glory to God. In the name.
Kenneth Copeland
What did you come up here for?
Nancy Dufresne
I had some irritation.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Cigarette on the skin. Jesus. Bend over. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Glory to God. Thank you, Jesus. Who is that masked woman?
Nancy Dufresne
I need my kidneys restored so I don't need dialysis anymore.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Yes.
Kenneth Copeland
Jesus said, father, let them know that.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
You love them as much as you do me.
Kenneth Copeland
The first time I ever heard that, it frightened me. I read it in the 17th chapter of the book of John there that he was in that covenant meal that.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Night and just a few hours he's going to the cross. And that just flashed up on the inside of me. How much he loves you.
Kenneth Copeland
How much?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
The love of God. In the name. Oh, Nancy.
Nancy Dufresne
Oh.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
So what I'm hearing the Lord say is just relax and let him love you. I walked around the house. I walked. I was in that little house there in door. You little. Little rent out. I walk around. God loves Kenneth. God loves Kenneth.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, God loves Kenneth.
Kenneth Copeland
God loves me as much as he does Jesus. I couldn't grasp that, Nancy. Now God loves Kenneth. Well, of course he did. I mean he gave himself to get you.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
And he loves you, dear.
Kenneth Copeland
You do believe me, don't you?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
I can see it in your eyes.
Kenneth Copeland
In the name. In the name. Say it with me. In the name. In the name that's above every name. In the name. In the name that's above every name. In that name. Glory to God. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Praise God.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Lord.
Kenneth Copeland
In the name. In the name of Jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Yeah, yeah, just come Nancy. Thank you, Jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh.
Kenneth Copeland
That was almost shocked me.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Praise God.
Kenneth Copeland
I don't mind telling you I've never.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Seen it this strong.
Kenneth Copeland
Now I've seen it this strong in other people, but I'm talking about physically right now.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Where'd you come from?
Nancy Dufresne
My right leg. Sciatica.
Kenneth Copeland
I understand that.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Had some of that.
Kenneth Copeland
And I'm healed.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus. Thank you Jesus. Thank you Lord. Jesus. Thank you Lord.
Kenneth Copeland
You know, I used to remember brother Hagin say every step a step of Faith.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Every step a step of faith.
Kenneth Copeland
Thank God I had it. Thank God it's mine.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
It's mine. It's mine.
Kenneth Copeland
Belongs to me.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
It belongs to me. Yes it does.
Kenneth Copeland
And give God thanksgiving for the other.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Leg because it doesn't hurt.
Kenneth Copeland
I went through that. Just sat out there in the yard and screamed and hollered. Thank God my right leg doesn't hurt. Thank God my right leg doesn't. Thank God my right leg doesn't hurt. My right hand doesn't hurt. My fingers are all good. Amen.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Thank you Jesus. What you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
Asthma and anxiety.
Kenneth Copeland
Asthma and anxiety. Let's get the asthma first. Well now wait a minute. The anxiety is causing the asthma. Uh huh. Now anxiety is against the law. Do you know that? Philippians chapter 4. Be anxious of nothing. Now you quit that. How do you do that?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
You cast the arms, whole of your care over on him first. Peter 5.
Kenneth Copeland
Right there.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Now.
Kenneth Copeland
Oh wait a minute, wait a minute.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Wait a minute, wait a minute.
Kenneth Copeland
Satan, you take your hands off of God's property now. Bless God.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you Father.
Kenneth Copeland
And I speak peace. The peace that passes all understanding. And you will never have asthma again. And the spirit of God will reveal to you. Any allergy? When I was five, six years old, I couldn't lay down at night, couldn't sleep for because of asthma. And my mother's a prayer warrior.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
And she just wouldn't quit.
Kenneth Copeland
Now World War II, you couldn't get aluminum. My dad had bar mother a brand new set of aluminum cookware. And the Lord spoke to my mother and said the aluminum, the aluminum, it's the aluminum getting in his body. She got mad and took it out there in the backyard and buried. Took a little while. Asthma was large in my dad's family. I've never had it. I had a little touch of it. I was walking across the living room and Mark Hankins and Trina, she was healed of asthma and she was giving her testimony. And I started wheezing a little bit and I said no you don't. Said Satan. Trina's been healed of it and I'm healed too. And that's the last of it right there. It's gone. No, yield to it.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
It's, it's.
Kenneth Copeland
Now breathe deep.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
What you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
Lower back pain and ongoing problems with, with my knee, especially with my right knee.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Just bend over there. Bend over a little bit more.
Kenneth Copeland
Right now, right now. Now right knee. You take hold, take hold. Now stand up straight. Talk to me. Huh? I can't hear you. The pain is gone. Is that what she said? She said the pain is gone. Just case you want to know. Hey, guys. What'd you come for, sir?
Nancy Dufresne
Stomach pains.
Kenneth Copeland
Stomach pains? You can't have stomach pains. In the name of Jesus, may I lay my hands on you, Father. My little brother. In the name of Jesus. Stomach pains. You're a name. You bow your knee to the name of Jesus right this minute.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In Jesus name. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Praise you, Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Look at me. What do you think? You feel better? Is it gone?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Hallelujah.
Kenneth Copeland
Gone, gone, gone, gone, gone. Yeah, okay, that's good. In the name of Jesus. Whoa.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Glory be to God. Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. What'd you come for? Had some negative reactions to immunizations. In the name of Jesus. Thank you, sweet Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Would you come for us? In the name of jesus? Thank you, lord.
Kenneth Copeland
Yes.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, lord jesus. Thank you, lord jesus. Thank you, lord jesus. Cool boots. Thank you, lord. Thank you, lord. What'd you come for? In the name.
Kenneth Copeland
Strength to the bone. Strength to the bone. God said, son of man, prophesy to those bones. Can bones live? Yes. I prophesy to the bones in your.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Mouth to be healed.
Kenneth Copeland
And well, miraculously well.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In Jesus name. Thank you, Lord. What'd you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
My female organs. My skin and my eyes.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. What'd you come for, sweetheart?
Nancy Dufresne
My neck. And it's hard to hear.
Kenneth Copeland
Did you hear what I said?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Well done. Cool boots. I like your boots, girl, is what I'm trying to say. I'm from Texas. I like good looking boots. In the name of Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
I say it, I believe, I receive it. Say it out loud enough you can hear it. I believe. I receive it. It's mine. I have it. I take it now. And I'll never turn it loose.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In Jesus name. Amen. Thank you, Jesus. What did you come for?
Kenneth Copeland
Right now. Right now. Right this very second. This very second.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
This very second. This very second.
Kenneth Copeland
That heartache is not coming back. It is not coming back.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Yes.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Hallelujah. Thank you, Lord.
Nancy Dufresne
Thank you, Lord.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
And she put in the name. In the name. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord.
Kenneth Copeland
Oh, glory.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, glory to God. In the name. Oh, in the name. In the name. In the name. In the name. In the name. That's your mama? Yeah.
Kenneth Copeland
Oh, God.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you. Thank you, Jesus.
Nancy Dufresne
My husband died just recently, but he's gone home to Jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Yes.
Nancy Dufresne
Because he's loved Jesus, for he did this.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
I know.
Nancy Dufresne
I know I'm going to be all right.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, yes.
Kenneth Copeland
Now, one thing, dear. You have to realize Jesus is now your husband.
Nancy Dufresne
I know.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
54Th chapter of Isaiah, 55 years. Yes.
Kenneth Copeland
And.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
He just left town.
Nancy Dufresne
The most wonderful man. The Lord sent him to me years ago.
Kenneth Copeland
55 years.
Nancy Dufresne
And so I know he's gone home to Jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Now, I'm going to do something here. Thank you, Jesus, that you help me.
Nancy Dufresne
Thank you.
Kenneth Copeland
Take your hand off of her grave now, God.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
You don't touch this, this saint of God again. You leave her alone. The joy of the Lord. The joy of the Lord.
Nancy Dufresne
Oh, jesus. Thank you, jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, God. You're welcome. I love you very much. Thank you, lord. Thank you, lord. In the name of jesus. Thank you, lord.
Kenneth Copeland
Jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Oh, God. Thank you, lord. Thank you, Lord. Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Jesus. Oh, glory to God. Thank you, Lord. In the name. Thank you, Jesus. In the name. In the name.
Kenneth Copeland
In the name.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. Oh, glory to God.
Kenneth Copeland
In the name of Jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.
Kenneth Copeland
Stand up a little while. Stand up. Now, I'm going to be. I'm going to play like I'm Jesse Duplantis right now. So don't blame me for anything I say. Go ahead and scratch whatever needs me. I didn't say that. Jesse said that. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Praise God. All right. Welcome. Yes, sir. What'd you come for? Blood pressure and high cholesterol. In the name of the Lord Jesus, I command your blood pressure to be 120 over 75.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name.
Kenneth Copeland
I'm talking to you. Blood pressure. I'm talking to you. Now.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Now you behave yourself.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Lord. Thank you.
Kenneth Copeland
Oh, thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
What'd you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
I have deterioration in my gums that won't restore and regrowth.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus. Oh, yeah.
Kenneth Copeland
Glory to God.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Where'd you come for?
Kenneth Copeland
I need sinus regenerations.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
And look at my hands. They're locked. They need to be restored. I can't move these fingers. In the name of Jesus, by the.
Kenneth Copeland
Power and the authority of the name.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Of the Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth.
Kenneth Copeland
In obedience to the command of contact and transmission, the contact of my hands, transmitting the anointing of God into your body to bring about healing, to bring about Deliverance.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Thank you, Lord Jesus. Now you go to bed at night and you say, today's the day.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Today's the day.
Kenneth Copeland
David said to Goliath, this day, the Lord will deliver you into my hands. Now, where did he get that? He had a covenant with God and he depended on it.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
So do you.
Kenneth Copeland
This day.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
This day.
Kenneth Copeland
Today's the day? Yes. And when you get up in the morning, you say, thank God for the day.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank God for the day. Thank God for the day.
Kenneth Copeland
Brother Copeland and I are in agreement. Yes, we are. Yes, we're in agreement. Yes, we are. What did you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
Well, I've had structural problems in the last 18 years. My doctors said when I was 46. You're on bone to bone.
Kenneth Copeland
You have bad knees from all your exercising. Yeah, but that's over. Whose report are you going to believe? Nancy, put your hand in the small of her back. Right in the small of her back. Yes. Now slap it like that. Now get up.
Nancy Dufresne
I've never had a back hat. I've always had a butt head.
Kenneth Copeland
Wow.
Nancy Dufresne
Praise Jesus. I feel taller.
Kenneth Copeland
Come on, give the Lord praise. Miracles are happening up here. Where'd you come from? You can be seated out there. If you got a good scratch, go ahead and sit down. What'd you come for? My hips and lower back.
Nancy Dufresne
And digested hips.
Kenneth Copeland
Lower back. Yes. Glory to God. Glory to God. Now, you know I'm human. I can miss it. And if I miss it, just speak up and say I missed it. But are you having some problem with itching? Yeah. In the name. That's not the only thing, but that's got to go, too.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. And then she put right in here. In the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord. In the name.
Nancy Dufresne
I have swelling. Recurrence of swelling, particularly on my legs. I can't fit in my shoes.
Kenneth Copeland
I had to go on medication.
Nancy Dufresne
Some are just out of nowhere, just swelling and fatigue. And so my doctor said I was normally healthy, so he put me on there. I just moved here two days ago.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
I'm all swollen.
Nancy Dufresne
I can't fit any.
Kenneth Copeland
I rebuke the stress.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Just hold up here a minute.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Come on, Nancy. In the name of Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
You don't laugh enough.
Nancy Dufresne
Not recently, but a due.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Yeah, you just don't laugh enough.
Kenneth Copeland
Ha. Why you laughing? Oh, I'm a very, very close friend of mine. In fact, he's on our board of directors. Dr. Avery Jackson, and he's a very renowned neurosurgeon, goes to Keith Butler's church. He knew when he was 8 years old he was going to be a neurosurgeon. They would say, well, yeah, little boy. Well, he is one today.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Praise God.
Kenneth Copeland
At Johns Hopkins University or hospital they have laughing classes because the brain cannot tell the. They have proven this scientifically. Your brain cannot tell the difference in a real laugh and a put on laugh. The joy of the Lord is your strength. And a merry heart does good like a medicine. Ha ha ha ha ha. The devil said. What ha. What'd you come for, sir?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
I've been dealing with pain and inflammation.
Kenneth Copeland
In my stomach and intestinal tract and.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Finding off an infection. Okay. In the name of Jesus. Thank you, father. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord.
Kenneth Copeland
You called to preach?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Yes, I think so. I thought I'd pick that up. In the name of Jesus and the.
Kenneth Copeland
Anointing that's in me and on me now.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
By faith, just by faith, young man. Yes. I impart this anointing into you in the name of Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
You man. Now there's your healing. Oh, thank you, Jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Lord.
Nancy Dufresne
Healing throughout my whole body from my head all the way down through healing every area.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Yes, Father, thank you.
Kenneth Copeland
Yes, I agree with you in that. And any two or three of you on earth shall agree.
Nancy Dufresne
It shall be done whatever we ask.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Now remember what Jesus said.
Kenneth Copeland
There I am in the midst of them. For what? To carry out the agreement. One, two, three.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Name.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
Nancy Dufresne
Yes, sometimes I get a chest pain and I have problems also with my hearing in my sight.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name of Jesus. Now that's his presence right there. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. What'd you come for, son? Yeah, I am in the dialysis and I need to. Okay, yeah, okay.
Kenneth Copeland
That's okay with me. It's okay with God. It's okay. Okay.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Glorious.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Jesus, I speak to your heart.
Kenneth Copeland
Thank you. Thank you.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In Jesus name. Hallelujah.
Nancy Dufresne
Thank you.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Lord. What you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
There's a muscle here that tries to act up and prevents me from smiling sometimes.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Hold your hands up towards her, please. Thank you, Lord. Glory be to God. Glory be to God. Glory be to God. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord Jesus. Thank you, Lord. In the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord. In the name name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Thank you Lord, what's something happened to you right. Then would you agree with me with Isaiah 40, 31? Every time for my lungs. Every time I can hike again?
Kenneth Copeland
Yes, sir.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Every time.
Kenneth Copeland
Okay. Read it out loud. They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength. They shall rise up with wings as an eagle. They shall run not full, weary, and walk and not faint. I agree. You agree? Yeah, I agree. Done. Thank you. That's what put me over on the treadmill was that verse of Scripture right there.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
I've been holding on to it.
Kenneth Copeland
Yeah, well, now it's holding on to you. Thank you, brother. I love you. In glorious.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name. In the name. Oh, Nancy. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord.
Kenneth Copeland
Thank you.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Lord. Jesus. What'd you come for? Like a knot in my neck for a while. In my eyesight. In the name. Hold him back up here. Hold him back up here. In the name of Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Now look at me.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Tell me what you see.
Kenneth Copeland
Now check out your neck.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Looks like 50% less. That's not good enough. There it is.
Kenneth Copeland
There it is, right there. That's the power right there. That's the power of God.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, Jesus. Yes, sir.
Nancy Dufresne
Yasmine.
Kenneth Copeland
Well, I don't believe in it. Do you?
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Take a deep breath right now. Right now. Another one. New love.
Kenneth Copeland
Amen.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
New lungs.
Kenneth Copeland
I call my lungs new. In the name of Jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Glory to God. What'd you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
I got stroked two years ago, and my hand is still.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name. In the name.
Kenneth Copeland
Hold your hands out towards her, please.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Thank you, jesus. Thank you, lord. Thank you, lord. Thank you, jesus.
Nancy Dufresne
It's gone.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
I don't know what it was, but.
Kenneth Copeland
But he's gone. There you are. Glory to God. Hallelujah.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
What you come for, dear?
Nancy Dufresne
Chest pain.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Chest pain. Yes. Thank you, Jesus. Praise you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Where'd you come for?
Nancy Dufresne
My eyesight restoration.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
That's good. In the name of Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
I just. Just leave her there for a little minute.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
I'm gonna come back to her. Yes, sir. So my shoulder. I'm sick of wearing contacts. And I got an unction to say my kidneys. And then my just sinus pressure is dry. Build up. I take it all.
Kenneth Copeland
Yeah.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Head to toe. That's called an overhaul. Father, in the name of Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Father, you know this body even better than he does. And you know.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
You know and understand this man's body.
Kenneth Copeland
And in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. Christ, as your servant, I speak to this body and I speak to every cell in it. You write yourself. You write yourself with the Word, you write yourself with life, and I speak life to you. From the crown of your head to.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
The soles of your feet. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name. In the name. What did you come for, sir? Symptoms of a sore throat, a cough and mucus going into my stomach. In the name. In the name of Jesus. Thank you, lord. Thank you, lord. Okay, sweetheart.
Kenneth Copeland
What do you see? It must be good. Tell me what you see.
Nancy Dufresne
I can. I couldn't see anything. Like, long distance at all.
Kenneth Copeland
Turn around about the exit sign over there. And the clock and the things. Well, I told you that.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
And the clock on the wall up there. In the name. Oh, this. Come back here to me.
Kenneth Copeland
Now you can see it. Well, you're see. You're seeing the 11.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
It's five minutes to 10.
Kenneth Copeland
Keep looking.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
It's working.
Kenneth Copeland
Now you know what you're supposed to do? Keep looking. Just keep looking. Amen. Say it's mine. These are my eyes. Jesus gave them to me. And they will see like they're supposed to see. Because the word's working in me now. Hands have been laid on me, and I have it.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
I agree with you.
Kenneth Copeland
Amen. Thank you, Lord Jesus.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
Yes.
Kenneth Copeland
I'll just go down there. You don't mind waiting?
Nancy Dufresne
Yes.
Kenneth Copeland
Okay. Now, this is the one that kept laughing at me.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
What did you come for, dear?
Nancy Dufresne
Looking for blue eyes.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
I don't blame you. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Lord Jesus.
Kenneth Copeland
Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
High cholesterol, high blood pressure, sugar.
Nancy Dufresne
Diabetes.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
And my teeth need fixing.
Kenneth Copeland
Okay. And healing and healing.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
And healing. And healing. Restoration. I speak to your blood pressure.120.75 right now. In the name of Jesus. Thank you for it, Father. Glory be to God.
Kenneth Copeland
Crestroll.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
You behave yourself. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Lord. Thank you, Jesus. Thank you, Jesus.
Nancy Dufresne
Headaches, eyes and neck.
Prayer Minister/Assistant
In the name. Glory to God. Glory to God. Glory to the name of Jesus. Come on, come on, come on, come on, Gloria. Come on, Glory.
Kenneth Copeland
Y' all get with me on that.
Prayer Minister/Assistant

Guest Minister: Kenneth Copeland
Host: Nancy Dufresne
Event: Holy Ghost Meetings 2021, World Harvest Church, Murrieta, CA
Date: January 10, 2021
This episode centers on the biblical and spiritual practice of the laying on of hands—its theological foundations, scriptural significance, and powerful testimonies from Kenneth Copeland's ministry experience. Kenneth emphasizes that the laying on of hands is a sacred doctrine for the church, not to be taken lightly or performed as empty ritual. The episode combines foundational teaching, personal stories, scriptural study, practical guidance for believers, and an extended time of ministry focusing on healing and impartation.
"Jesus said, judge not lest you be judged. And the way you measure it, it’ll be measured back to you." (49:47)
[From 94:49 onward—extensive, practical healing ministry in real time]
Foundations for Receiving: Kenneth consistently guides people to cooperate by faith:
"Say this: I call myself well. I call myself healed. My head’s healed... and all in between is healed. I receive it. And don't let anything else get in your mouth." (106:43)
Notable Miraculous Accounts:
Appropriate Approach to Healing Lines:
Faith Confessions:
Kenneth Copeland:

"I named it, claimed it, blabbed it, grabbed it, and I still got it." (41:47)
"He didn’t call me because I was eloquent. He called me because I was available." (03:54, recalling Ed Dufresne)
"Healing is not a reward." (68:09)
"Who called you? You’re not Kenneth Hagin. You’re Kenneth Copeland. I called you." (90:55)
"I have the victory. I don’t receive it in any way, shape or form, but I’ve dealt with a lot of weird torments..." (166:03)
"Let there be hip sockets, saith the Lord." (173:51)
Nancy Dufresne:
"Saying the right thing, holding. Focusing on him as you go to sleep." (167:06)
Prayer Minister/Assistant:
"Every time for my lungs. Every time I can hike again?"
"You cooperate with the anointing... by changing, by saying I can." (111:30)
Practical Application:
"You remember Abraham called things that be not as though they were, so say this: I call myself well." (106:43)
Through Scripture, testimony, and a powerful demonstration of ministry, this episode imparts deep respect for the doctrine of laying on of hands. Listeners are encouraged to approach healing and impartation with faith, humility, and scriptural foundation, trusting in the faithfulness of God and the promises in His word.
Key Takeaway:
The laying on of hands is a sacred means by which God’s anointing flows for healing, blessing, and ministry.
"These things are sacred. These are the fundamental principles of the doctrines of Christ, the Messiah, the Jesus God." (38:00)
Believers are urged to lay hold of God’s promises practically, speak faith, judge not, and uphold the power of confession and point of contact in their daily lives.
