Hi, I'm Nancy Dufresne. Welcome to our podcast channel. We know you'll be blessed by today's message. Well, praise the Lord. Father, we thank youk in Jesus name for the help of the mighty Holy Ghost, like Pastor said. Thank youk, Lord, for Philippians, for Ephesians, chapter 1, verse 4, that he has chosen us in him before the foundation of the world. Thank youk for choosing us. Thank youk that we didn't go after your first. You came after us first. And we respond. And we're going to respond today to you, to your Word, and to your spirit. We thank you for the great privilege and honor to stand before such wonderful believers, ministers, traveling ministers, this wonderful company of saints and believers. Lord, I thank you for your precious anointing. I yield to it, and I thank you that it makes all the difference in Jesus precious name. Amen. Would you turn with me in your Bibles, please, if you could, today? To the book of First Peter, chapter one. First Peter, chapter one. And let's start reading in verse eight. Are you there? First Peter, chapter one and verse eight. And it says, having not seen him, you love him. Having not seen him, you love in whom, though now you see him not yet believing, you rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory, receiving the end of your faith, even the salvation of your souls. I was reading that and studying that, and the Lord started to talk to me about something regarding rejoicing. And I'd like to share with you some thoughts today about rejoicing. I think it's humorous that God uses a Canadian to talk about rejoicing, since we're probably the most starchy group of people on the planet. But just hanging around, Doctor, loosened me up a little bit. And hanging around this company has also loosened me up a little bit. But I want you to notice that it says, you greatly rejoice with joy unspeakable and full of glory. So that word rejoice, in the Greek language, it means this definition to jump for joy, to exult exuberantly, to be exceedingly glad. Not just glad, with exceeding joy, very much. It's like it's not enough just to say exceeding joy. It has to say very much to just make sure that you get it. Now, the root word, I. I won't try to pronounce these different Greek words, but the root word is this definition. This is of the word you greatly rejoice. It means to jump, it means to gush, it means to leap, and it means to spring up. So when we see this word rejoice, jump for joy, exult, exult exuberantly. To be exceeding glad, with exceeding joy very much. To jump, to gush, to leap, to spring up. You shall rejoice greatly with joy unspeakable and full of glory. Now the word unspeakable means not spoken out, unutterable or inexpressible. Now this kind of joy is a joy that you try to talk about, but you can't get it all out. You try to express it, but it's inexpressible, it's unutterable. You can't find words to express what you're, what you're sensing on the inside. And it's not just happiness. Happiness is of the soul realm. Joy is of the spirit realm. So something inside you is so like a volcano. It's bubbling, it's boiling, it's moving. And you're trying to talk it, you're trying to say something, but it's just, you can't get it out. So what you start to do is you start to jump and you start to very much exceedingly rejoice. And you start to leap and you start to. What else does it say? To gush? Ever been really excited and your spouse says you're gushing? You know, you just, you can't get it out fast enough. You start to spring up. In other words, you're trying to express joy with words, but you can't quite get it out. So you have to add actions to your words. Really, if you want to look at it. Praise is like an umbrella. And there's different kinds of praise within that umbrella. But want and praise can be verbal only. Okay, but there is a section within this umbrella called rejoicing that is not verbal. In fact, it's inexpressible, it's unutterable. You couldn't try to say it if your life depended on you. You have to do something to express what's happening on the inside of you. Notice. Did you notice? It says that you greatly rejoice with joy unspeakable, full of glory. So when you start getting into that kind of rejoicing, the glory starts to show up. Why? Because it's coming out of your spirit being expressed not just with words, but with action. And all of a sudden God starts to pay attention and glory starts to show up in your life. My goodness. Dad Hagin would say if you ever see a little child at Christmas time gets the toy that they can't wait. They've been looking forward to that toy. The child doesn't just look at you and say thank you. They start jumping, they start squealing, they start spinning, they start running around the house and they just see what is that? The thank you is the verbal praise. It's a declaration. But the rejoicing is an action of inexpressible joy. Now did you see verse nine? When you do this, you receive the end of your faith and the salvation of your souls. Which means that this kind of inexpressible rejoicing action of joy produces some. See, this is power starts to flow. Pastor was talking last night about your words. Your words release power. Remember, the law of faith governs the power of God. So the more you speak, the more you assign, the more power flows. This is another form of that, but it's non verbal. So although you could include verbal, but you can't express it fully. In verbal you're saying, but you can't get it all out with your words, so you have to dance. And when you do that, the glory starts to show up in your situation, whether you see it or not. And when that happens, you receive the end of your faith. What does that mean? What you were believing for, you get the result and it's the salvation or the victory or the deliverance or the triumph of what you needed in your life. We see rejoicing. God's been dealing with me a lot about this because he said to me one day, he said, you confession is good because we have to speak more. You know, this is the same spirit of faith. We believe, therefore we've spoken. We gotta speak more. And I've been spend a season emphasizing that a lot. Then he started dealing with me and say, you're doing good in the speaking, but that's all you ever do is you just talk. And that's good, that has its place. But there's something beyond just the words that I'm looking for because it will step you into another place if you'll do it. Hallelujah. And so I've been meditating on this. When you rejoice with action, when you speak, power flows because of your faith. But when you rejoice with action, power flows. And I don't want to say, although I'll try to prove it to you, hesitant to say it, but it's the truth speaking. Power flows. Rejoicing, power flows. More rejoicing, power flows to another level. It's a maximum level. And then you get the result of what you've been believing for now I'll just quote this to you. Luke chapter 10:21 if you're writing notes, the Bible says, and in the same hour, Jesus rejoiced in spirit. Now, I always read that to think he was just inside going, oh, praise God. But that word rejoice is the same word that. That I just read to you from first Peter 1:8, and I did a study on it. And really what it means is it originates in spirit, but it cannot be expressed spiritually. It originates in spirit, but it must be expressed. What was the definitions we read with a jump, with exulting, exuberantly, with exceeding, glad and exceeding joy. Very much. It means to gush, leap, and spring. He rejoiced in spirit because that's where it came from. But it was not only expressed in spirit. It had to be expressed outwardly and more than just verbally. It had to be expressed, and I was shocked because it threw me. When it says he rejoiced in spirit, it makes it seem like there was nothing on the outside. But what it means in the original is that it originated, its origin point was out of his spirit, man. That's why it says in spirit. But that word means the same. It's an exalting, jumping, leaping, gushing, praising. It's an action word. It's not just a. It's not just a mental I'm rejoicing. You can't really rejoice silently. You can't rejoice just in your mental arena because it didn't come from the mental arena. It came from inside you. And it's so powerful, it cannot be expressed only in words. That's why it's unspeakable and it's full of glory. I'm giving you a little bit of a baseline. Are you okay with that? Now, what does rejoice mean? It means rejoy it means you're joying again. It means you're joying, joying. Why? Joy is of that spirit realm. So this is originating in your spirit, man, not in your. That's why this is so powerful. Because. Because it doesn't matter what you're going through, doesn't matter how bad the circumstances, because that's affecting your soul, your mind, your will, your emotions. I don't feel good. Joy has got nothing to do with what you feel, thank God, because if it did, we would have to wait for everything to look good for us to rejoice. But the whole point is it's out of my spirit, which is sealed. And all this external stuff may be pressing on me and harassing me and bombarding me, but I don't look to that realm, that mental faculty. I look down in here, and out of this starts a bubble, a boil. A rolling rumbling starts to move. It starts to move. And I can start with words. I can start by speaking. Praise the Lord. Glory to God. Hallelujah. But then it keeps boiling to the point it becomes inexpressible. I can't. And words are not enough for me anymore. See, my words are assigning power. But when I start to act old, power moves into another gear. I'm telling you, it's the truth. It starts spirit, but it's expressed physically. It's expressed in this realm. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. Now I want to. I'm going to read you, actually. Let me just look it up. Psalm chapter 28, verse 7. If you're with me here, hallelujah. I'm just laying a little bit of baseline, and then I want to tell you a couple stories. But Psalm chapter 28, you're okay. There's free brigaderos after service for everybody if you pay attention. Sister, you better go. You better go get ready. That's all I'm saying. Psalm 28, verse 7. Now watch this. The Lord is my strength and my shield. My heart trusted in him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart, that's your spirit, greatly rejoices. And now watch with my song. What's that? Verbal. I will praise him. Notice the distinction. There's a song of praise, but there's a heart or spirit of rejoicing. So I looked up that word in the Hebrew, and that word is alaz. And it means to jump, to exalt and to triumph vigorously. To jump, to exalt and to triumph vigorously. So here we. And there's many. I'm only giving you a few. You can look them up more on your own. But here we're seeing that there is a verbal praise declaration. That in this case is with a song. You could also just say it. But then there is an out of your spirit, man. Not that your praise can come out of your spirit, too. But I'm just. The verbal comes out of your spirit, but out of your innermost being, your heart, right. Rises up a rejoicing, which is to jump. It's virtually the same definition as the Greek and the New Testament. To jump, to exalt and to triumph. Praise the Lord. So praise can be expressed verbally. Yes, but it's not only verbally. According to Psalm 28. 7. It can be expressed by your actions. Now, do you remember Paul and SILAs, Acts 16? They're in the prison and they're locked up. But what did the Bible say? It says they. Out loud, they. They began to praise. So the other prisoners heard them. This was verbal only because they're in stocks. You can't exactly dance and jump when you're in a stock. But the praise, because they couldn't do anything else, the verbal praise released power in their direction. Remember, they assigned it, and God's power moved. But unless you're in a stock, you're not limited to only a verbal praise. But did you see? The word didn't say. They rejoiced. It says they praised the Lord. Because praise, if you study it, is usually connected to a verbal response. Praise is a song. Praise is a statement. But a joy. And rejoicing comes out of your spirit, man, which is why it's got nothing to do with how you feel. And that's great news for us, because not all of us feel great every moment of every day. But if we'll tap into that inner man, a bubble and a roll and a boil and a roar will come up and we'll begin to start with words. But what it will do is it will soon become inexpressible. Where I have to do something. I have to do something. I have to release an action of rejoicing before the Lord. And that takes the power that my word started and it ratchets it up a notch. In my opinion, rejoicing is the expressive form of praise. Can you remember that statement? Rejoicing is the expressive form of praise. And rejoicing will get you in the spirit realm faster than almost anything else you want to get in the spirit. You start to rejoice. Why? Because it comes out of your spirit. And when you're doing something that's coming out of your spirit will help you get in the spirit. Hallelujah. That's why glory shows up, because it's of the spirit realm. Praise God. Now, I won't read. I won't look it up, but I'll quote it. Luke 1:46, 47. Mary is talking. She's just got pregnant, right? And she's there with Elizabeth. And Mary says, my soul doth magnify. Verse 46, 47. The Lord soul, that soul realm. The word magnify in the Greek means to declare. To declare greatness. Notice speaking. Or you could be. It's a verbal issue. Now watch what she says. My spirit, however, has rejoiced in God, my Savior. And can you believe it? The word rejoice is the exact same Greek word as Luke chapter 10, verse 21. As first Peter 1:8. It's that jumping, celebrating, gushing, that kind of a. So Mary was saying, I praise the Lord, but then she says, my spirit, there's something inexpressible. And she started to dance. Otherwise it wouldn't use that word. She got there and she started to jump and leap and gush and dance. Because out of her spirit, spirit came something she could not only express with words, she had to act it out. And I'm telling you, there's a revelation in here that is tremendous. I'm just giving you some base scriptures. You're okay with that. Acts. I'm quoting it to you now for the sake of time. Acts 3:8. They're coming in silver and gold. Have I none? You know the story rise up and walk. And the Bible says the man. The man walking and leaping and praising God entered the temple. But I want you to notice in the original language there's a distinction between walking and leaping and the word praising. The word walking and leaping is distinct from praising. And that word leaping is the exact same Greek word. That is the word rejoice. It could have said in English, and he began to walk and rejoice because all the other places refer to it as rejoicing in English. But this place, they translated it as leaping. It's the same exact Greek word as first Peter 1:8, as Luke 10:21, as the other one, Luke 1:47, it's the same word which means that man was doing an action. Did you notice? Praising. And that word praising. I looked it up in the original, and it says. Because sometimes these English words, you have to know what the original says or it will confuse you. I'm not trying to be a Greek scholar. I'm far from it. But. But I want to understand what the original, so that I'm not getting it wrong. Do you understand? Now that Greek word pray? He walked, leaped, and praising God. The word praising is the Greek word laud L A U D or laudation. That word almost exclusively is verbal only. It means to praise, to extol. But it's verbal. Now, you see, two things are happening. He's shouting and he's praising God because he's just been healed. And. And he's doing that with laudation or praise. But he's also leaping, rejoicing, gushing, jumping, excessive, exuberant joy. Because what he's inside, what's coming up out of him is beyond. It's beyond what he can speak only. And when he gets into that flow, oh, Boy, how power, how power, how power begins to flow. I'll quote you James 1:2. Count it all joy. Brethren, when you face tests and trials, when you face hardships, when you face hardships. In other words, we could say, when you don't feel like it, when everything's going wrong, when the church offering didn't really come in the way you needed it to, when the doctor's report wasn't as glorious as you hoped it would be, when the mother in law comes over for dinner. I mean, whatever the hardship is, Count it all joy. When you face hardship. Did you notice it said joy? It didn't say praise. I'm not knocking praise, I'm emphasizing joy. We can have other sermons where we emphasize praise, but I'm emphasizing joy. Notice it didn't say counted all joy. Now you counted all praise. It says count it all joy. What does that mean? It really means rejoice. When you're in trouble, rejoice. Now, what does Nehemiah 8, 10 say? The joy of the Lord. And when I'm going through a hardship, my natural strength, my mental strength may be tapped, it might be on the decline. But if I can get over into joy, that joy produces strength in the hardship. And that's when you need it the most, is in the hardship. Now, the Greek commentary on this verse, on this count it all joy phrase, the Greek commentary says this, expressing joy in all its expressions. Which means joy has expressions. Expressions. Not just verbally, but action expressions. What are some of the expressions of joy? Laughing is one. Dancing is one. You could shout, that could be one. Running is one. They used to call them holy rollers. So I could put in my list. Rolling is one. Running, jumping. I can see some people, they're sweating and they're thinking, where is this going today? What is going. Did he eat too many brigaderos? Now, when you count it, all joy, verse 4. And you shall let patience ever perfect work, that you shall be perfect entire and wanting nothing. Meaning, this is what that other verse says, that it will end, it will end. Your faith will end. The result will be what you're believing for will come to pass, and you'll have the salvation of your souls. Notice that every time he talks about joy, he says you're going to get an answer. Every time he talks about joy, he says you're going to get victory. He said, talking about joy. He says you'll get the end of what you were believing for, which is salvation, which is deliverance, freedom, victory, triumph. Here he says you're going to get over into joy. And what's going to happen? You're going to be perfect, entire, complete one and nothing. That means everything you were believing for you. And that hardship gonna come out exactly the way you needed it to come out. But he said, if you don't count it joy, you may not make that. Because that joy produces power, it produces strength. Let me quote you Isaiah 29:19. It's a wonderful verse. And it says the afflicted also will increase their gladness in the Lord. When you're afflicted, you don't feel like being glad, but that's what it says. And the needy of mankind will rejoice in the Holy One of Israel. That word rejoice is the same thing. To leap, to gush, to jump, to just be exuberant. So the afflicted and the needy. Sounds like tests and trials. The afflicted and the needy increase their gladness and step over into rejoicing. And what About Isaiah, chapter 12, verse 3? Out of the well, you will draw out with joy. Not with counseling, not with complaining, not with talking about it. You will draw out with rejoicing or with joy the wells of salvation. So inside my deep well, in my spirit, there is the victory and the salvation I need for this problem. But the way I'm going to draw out that power, I'm going to draw out that glory, I'm going to draw out the resurrection power is I'm going to draw it out with the bucket of joy. Hallelujah. Faith is my rope, but joy is my bucket. And by faith, I'm going to draw it out with joy. And all of a sudden, I'm going to start to see the end of my salvation. But I want you to notice there is a difference. And this is how the Lord started with me. He said, son, there's a difference between praise and rejoicing. I said, lord, I've never heard that before. What do you mean? There's a difference between praise? It's all the same thing. See, we put everything in one big brown paper bag. We shake it up. But there is a difference between praise, which is powerful. I'm not listening it. I'm just putting the spotlight elsewhere, which is verbal. And it's a pray, it's a speaking. And then there's a difference between when you start to do something that words cannot express. And you have to dance and you have to dance and you have to dance whether you're the color your skin is. Listen, it's not the dancing in terms of trying to be cool. And looking a certain way, that's usually of the flesh anyway. It's a dancing out of your spirit. And sometimes it can make you look foolish because David danced out of his spirit. And the Bible says he raved. The Hebrew word says he raped. He acted crazy. He acted like. And he was in his underwear, too. I mean, he acted like he was nuts and his wife looked on and despised. So some people in the flesh will despise the rejoicing. They'll look at you and go, what a foolish loser that is. He can't even dance. It's not about looking good and dancing. It's about expressing what's coming up. And you might look a little foolish, look a little weird, look a little bit like. Like you never went to the dance thing and got lessons. Because you can't teach somebody this kind of dance. You know, I learned to dance. I watched Dr. Dufresne. Because when Dr. Got to dancing, I mean, you could tell he didn't go to no 8 Lessons to Learn to do that. It came up. You remember, it came up out of his spirit and he just began to dance. And that's the spiritual dancing. Because if you're thinking, whoa, let me. Let me try to get my feet doing the right thing, and let me try to do the moves and. And get, get, get, you know, get. I don't know, what do you call it, Jennifer? It's like you get the. The movement in your hips, you know, I was in a church and I saw someone dancing like that, and they're like trying to move and they're doing all this. And I said, my God, Jennifer, that's the flesh that's not coming out of their spirit. They're trying in their brain to figure out how to look good. But when it's of the spirit, there's a. There's a. There's like a boom. It just explodes. And you don't care what you look like or if your hips are moving just the right way. Now, brother, you're African. You can dance real dancing. I can't. White men can't dance. You know that there's a Bible verse that says that somewhere white men can't dance. But I don't need to know how to dance to make you think that I'm cool. I respond to what's bubbling, and it might look different to you. And you know what? It might come out different every time I do it. I've watched some of these ministers, they'll dance different every time the Holy Ghost comes on them. They'll dance different because it's a spiritual quality. Hallelujah. Praise the Lord. And what did Paul say? I'm quoting you. Philippians 3:1,3. Rejoice. Finally, brethren, rejoice in the Lord. Now watch. To write the same thing to you again is not irksome to me, but to you it's safety. What is it? The same thing. Because he told them a hundred times before, rejoice. So he's like a broken record. Rejoice. You know what? You've got to have somebody tell you all the time, rejoice. Because you will forget. And when the pressure comes, it's the last thing you want to do. It's the last thing you feel like doing. And it's easy to just say it and start with your words, but it's. But you gotta get over into the inexpressible action if you're gonna see the power of God deliver you. In extreme cases, hallelujah. Philippians 4. 4. Rejoice in the Lord always. I say again, I'm just giving you three or four first. Thessalonians 5, 16. Rejoice always. Romans 12, 15. Rejoice with those who rejoice. There are so many. I don't want to spend time reading all of them. But you look at how many times the. The word rejoice in the New Testament, it will shock you. Take the word joy or rejoice. They mean the same thing. They're the same thing. There is a power. Listen to me. The law of faith governs the power of God. When you start speaking, power is released. You assign it to that need, like we did last night. Power is working whether you feel it or not. You've got to believe that. You've got to renew your mind to that and just keep doing that. It will. Will come to pass. But I'm telling you, if something starts to bubble on the inside of you, don't limit it only to speaking and saying, praise the Lord and I thank you for the power of God. It starts there. But if something starts to bubble, and it usually will, if you're spiritual, you'll start to see, something will start to move and you'll keep speaking, but your feet will start to move and you'll start to get into an expressive form of praise. And then joy will start bubbling up and. And you'll feel like, what is. This is the worst time. Like this is. I am under such pressure right now. This is not the time, Lord. But he's smiling and he goes, that's exactly when you need it, boy. Now yield to that. And you start to dance and you start to praise. And the power that started with your speaking goes hallelujah. Hallelujah. God is good. Praise the Lord. I was in Africa preaching, and I was invited to a conference. And this conference is not like these conferences. I thought it was, but it's not. And great conference, you know, word of faith people, precious people. But yet the ministers only show up for when they preach. They don't show up for the whole week like we do. It's better to show up for the whole week because the supply is brought to every service. So I booked my plane ticket to be there the whole week. Then I realized that nobody's there but the preacher. And they said, just stay in your hotel room. Just rest. So I said, oh, okay. So I preached, and then I'd go back to the hotel room, and then I'd have a day and I'd do nothing. And then I'd preach and then go back to the hotel room and have two days and do nothing. And so that's how it was, right? Because nobody else showed up for when anybody else was preaching. So I wanted to follow their rules, so that's fine. But then they say, this man. I had seen the itinerary with all the speakers, and I'd noticed this man, but my spirit moved when I saw the man. So pay attention. And I've never heard of him before, never met him before, but there's a lot of people that have great works all around the world that we don't know about. And this is a bonafide word of faith guy that is of the dad Hagen camp that is from South Africa and lives in America now and has over 1500 word of faith churches all over the world. And. And I mean, he is a powerhouse. I've never heard his name ever. There's so many wonderful people out there that we don't know about. We are not the only ones. And I heard. And he was preaching the final main service because he was like the biggest of all the speakers, and he's preaching the Friday night. And I heard the Lord say, go to his service. So I said, but, Lord, nobody goes to anybody's services. He said, go to his service. I've got something for you. So I show up at the service and the host pastor says, what are you doing here? I said, God told me to come for the service. He goes, well, that's really nice. Thank you. Nobody ever comes to anybody else's service. I said, well, I'm here. I'm going to get something. So they put me right beside him and he's up there preaching and he's ministering, healing, and then I'm listening, absent Lord, I'm waiting to get. And he shared a story that I'm going to shorten, but I'm going to share with you because that's why God sent me there and it really helped me. So he grew up in the same city as I did as a child. In fact, when I was there, he was there. We just didn't know each other. I was a little kid. He was 21 years old in Durban, South Africa. He was a real estate agent. He had sold a lot of homes. He had quite a bit of money. He's only 21 years old. At 19, he got a hold of a little book by Kenneth E. Hagin. And there was no faith churches there back then. In the 80s there was none. And he couldn't go to Faith church, they didn't exist. But he read Brother Hagin's books and he learned the principles of faith and about how if you speak, you're going to get what you believe, you're going to get what you say because you believe. Mark 11:24, right? And so he meets this girl that he likes. I will shorten the story. But he's trying to get her to like him and she don't. And so this. She really don't. She, like, hates him. Like, he repulses her, she said. And so. But he said, he said, now, let's see, let's see if this works. So he said, listen, I'll make a deal. You give me one week and then you never see me again. But every time you see me and every time I call you, you need to say, I love you. And she says, I don't want to do that because it's not true. And he goes, just, just, just say it. So for one week every. He called her like five times a day. He saw her every night. And every time you say, love you, and she goes, I love you. And she's just waiting. But on the sixth day, she fell madly in love with him. They've been married over 50 years today, and she's still his wife. And so he's saying, you know what? Your words, they do produce something. Now, I'm not saying that that works in every case. I'm not saying that. But he's got this worldwind romance, you know, he's worked this faith thing and now he's got this girl that wants to marry him. And he. So what he does he stops working. And as a 21 year old who doesn't do a budget, which you probably should, but most 21 year olds don't have a budget. He just knows he's got a lot of money in the bank. So he doesn't look at it, he doesn't get bank statements. This is before, in the early 80s. There's no smartphones. You're going to run something, you got to go to the bank. Okay. There's no computers. So he just, every night he takes her out for dinner, he buys her flowers, he's buying her gifts. He is really working this because he wants to marry this girl. And you know, you've got to butter her up a little bit. Her family's rich, he's not, he's alone. So he doesn't sell any homes for six months. And at the end of six months he's spending all this money, but he's not looking how much he's spending. And then he decides I want to propose. He asks the dad, the dad says yes. And the dad says, I'd like to be there. And when you propose, in fact, we're going to have a big party. I'm going to invite all my wealthy friends at our big house and you're going to do the, you know, how do you want to do it? So they plan all this stuff, you know, this is how he's going to do. It's a big deal, right? So then he says, honey, I would like to, I'm going to get you a ring, I want to propose to you. And she says, she goes to the store, looks at all the rings, don't like any of them. So then she says, I want to design my own ring. So he says okay, so go ahead. So she designs the ring with the jeweler with exactly what she wants. And then the jeweler tells him the price and he says, I've got lots of money. And the dad's right beside him. So he's not gonna say it's too much. He's a rich dad, you're gonna say no problem, no matter what the price is. So he said, that's fine, I got lots of money, that's fine, no problem. He says, well, this is non returnable because it's a specialty design. And he goes, that's fine. So he says, me, two weeks to make it and we're gonna have it for you next Saturday. Two weeks, Saturday morning. And then the father says, okay, we're having the proposal thing Saturday night. So he says, no problem. So he Leaves, they leave. She goes home. He goes. Monday morning, he goes to the bank to just make sure that he has enough money. And there's like four rand or whatever it is in the bank. A rand is like, there's like 20 rand to a dollar, so it's like pennies. He spent everything he has on roses and dinners and everything else. And now he's locked in for this ring because he doesn't want to be embarrassed and he can't return it. And he's too embarrassed to ask for help. He's got no parents around. He doesn't have any credit cards. It's back in the day, you didn't always have a credit card. He can't get a loan from the bank. He starts to go through every option, how can I get this money now? So he figured out, if I can sell two houses, I'll be able to have enough money for this ring. But that means I've got to sell two houses in two weeks. Now that wouldn't be so hard other than the fact that when you sell a house, there's a process that has to happen. And it's about back then. I don't know what it is today, but about three months before the agency gives you your check. And he needs it in two weeks starting today on Monday, when he found out the bad news. So he don't have the money. He can't borrow the money. He can't get the money. He's got no friends or parents to help. He has no way out but faith in God. So he says, well, Lord, I'm not even going to get the money. What's the point? If I sell the house, I can't even get the money anyway. What am I going to do? And then he remembered if he does a direct sale, I don't know if they do it anymore. But back then you have to find a house and you have to have. The buyer doesn't have any money. That's the first problem. The, the second problem is the seller has to accept the fact that they don't have money and that you're going to rent it for five years. And at the end of five years, then they're going to buy it, which means the seller doesn't get his money up front. Very few sellers want that deal because they want the money now. But the only good thing about a direct sale is that the brokerage who you work for pays you the same day because it's not really a sale, it's a rent and then a sale in five Years. So you get your commission the same day you sign the deal. So he realizes, I need two direct sales in two weeks or I'm embarrassed and I've got nowhere else to go but God. And so he checks. And in his firm with 18 salesmen, there has been one direct sale in the last 12 months between 18 people. Now he needs two in two weeks. But the girl fell in love with him through faith. So he's going to get the direct sale through faith. So he starts saying, every day, Lord, I thank. He claimed it. He did. Mark 11:24. He did all the right things according to dad Hagin's book. And he said, now, Father, I take it it's mine now. And so every day, remember dad Hagin said, you claim what you need. You tell the devil to take his hands off it. You know, you release the angels. He did all those things and then he said, now I'm just going to praise. And so every day he would praise. And he'd be out trying to sell homes. Couldn't sell nothing, but he'd pray. Lord, I praise you. See what a power is working. But he needs a different kind of power. Lord, I praise you that I've got this two direct sales. I praise you every day, all day, all night. Every day, all day, all night. He's saying this, saying this, saying this, saying this, saying this, but nothing's happening. He gets to the next Thursday. This is the day before Saturday. Two days from now is the party. He hasn't sold one home. He is now beginning to panic. So he says, I'm gonna go surfing. He went to the same beach that I used to surf at as a little kid. So I knew exactly where he was. He had a little VW Bug. He finished the surfing. It was about 5 o' clock in the evening. He's sitting in the VW Bug, you know, with his towel and his surfboard. And he said to the Lord, he said, father, I have done what you told me to do and nothing is working. But you promised me that your word would not return to you void. I don't know what you're gonna do. Now listen, he said, I don't know what you're going to do, but you have a big problem. Now, for whatever reason, because I don't find that funny. But for whatever reason, when he said, you, Father, have a big problem, he found that funny. It struck him that it's funny that God, who has never had a problem in the history of the ages, all of a sudden today has his first problem. Problem and he thought that was funny. So he chuckled. He's sitting in the driver's seat, nobody's in the car, the sun's going down. And he goes, that sounds funny. God, who's never had a problem before, the foundation of the world, finds himself in a pickle today because of me. And he goes, that's funny. But then that became funnier and he goes, ha, ha, ha. That's really funny. And all of a sudden the anointing comes on him and he starts to laugh and he laughs and he laughs and he laughs. And he said that whole VW bug was shaking because he's laughing. So he's convulsive, laughing to the point, you know, where your stomach feels like it's gonna explode. And he laughed for almost one solid hour. And he said, I didn't even really find it funny after a few minutes anymore. But I don't understand. I cannot stop laughing. Something. And he said, I don't know what's wrong with me, but I'm just laughing, barreled over, howling, laughing like a crazy person for almost an hour. In about 48, 50 minutes, that thing lifts off him and he goes, what just happened? I don't understand what just happened. He still doesn't understand today when he's tearing the story he didn't even understand. So he's saying, I. I don't know what that was, but whatever. So Friday morning, the day before the event, he's sitting there, he's first one in, he's sitting there and he's just saying, lord, I doing the same thing. I praise you, I thank you. I praise you, I thank you. And the secretary comes in, she calls out to all 18 of them, she goes, I have a direct sail at the front. And he jumps up and runs as fast as he can past all his co workers and I'll take it. He gets there, he goes. The man is sitting inside on a rocking chair. He. He explains, sir, this is not going to be a regular sale. You're not going to get the money for five years. He said there was crickets. There was not a sound in the house. The man read the contract. He said it felt like for a whole year, it was so uncomfortable. And he just said, give me a pen. He signed the deal. The other guy signed the deal. He jumps in his vw. He races back, he puts it on the thing. He says to his boss, I got a direct sale. I want my money. He says, you'll get it. At five o'. Clock. He's sitting there, he has Lunch. And he's just staring where the secretary comes out because he knows that's the only way this is going to work. He can't borrow money. He don't know anybody. And all of a sudden, a couple hours later, she comes out. She goes, I have another direct. That's never happened in the history of the company, ever. He jumps, runs by all his car. I'll take it. He jumps in the car. He says to the person, you know, you, you're just shut up, let me do the talking. She gets this old lady sitting on the porch, on the veranda, in the rocking chair. He explains to her, that's not a regular, so you're not going to get the money for five years. She's completely silent. She reads the contract. He said, there's this crickets, there's nothing for minutes at a time. She's just staring. And he's sweating, he's profusely sweating. And she says, give me a pen. He gives a pen. She signs the deal. No questions, no arguments, no conditions. Sign. He screams. He jumps up, runs, throws it down. Give me my money. And they give him the money at 5pm the bank's closed on Saturday. He gets the two sales that day and it was enough money. He goes to the next day to the place the father meets him at the ring store with the girl. He's like, son, are you sure you need help? You don't need help. That's a lot of money. He goes, of course I got money. I got lots of money in the world. He pets out the wad of cash. Nobody knows. The the wiser. He proposes, she marries him, everything. Fifty years later, they're happily married today. But he's saying the story. And he says, there's one thing that I'm going to talk to God about when I get to heaven. Why did it take him so long? Why did I have to go the two full weeks until the breakthrough happened on the Friday? Because I released my faith from day one. And as he's saying this, I'm just sitting on the front row. I'm just enjoying the story. And God said, go to that service or I wouldn't have been there. And I heard the voice of God so loud, so loud, so loud on the inside of me. He said, I brought you to listen to that story. And I said, lord, he doesn't even understand why. How am I going to understand why? And he says, because I'm going to tell you. He said he was in praise, but when he started to laugh, he got into Rejoicing. And the rejoicing flow is different to the praise flow. Now listen, he said when he started to laugh, in that rejoicing, maximum power was released for his need. And he said something to me. I'm sitting there on the front row with a thousand people in the room, just listening to God while he's saying, I don't understand. And I wanted to say, I know, but that's not my place. You don't say that to an elder. You just keep your mouth shut. But the Lord said to me, if you listen, he said, when there is a time pressure and a time constraint, when it is an emergency, when you have. There's no other option that you have, son, don't just praise. Step over into the flow of rejoicing. Because in. Oh my God. Then he quoted me, what passed in and see has ingrained in us. He said, for in the rejoicing power flows. And he spoke to me. He said, did you notice that I didn't tell your pastor in the praise power flows. I said, in the rejoicing power. And he said, did you notice when she was on that porch in the time pressure with the bank appointment and all that you've heard her tell the story, the pressure, pressure she was under. And she didn't even hear God speak. She just felt a prompting to dance. And she started to dance. What did she do? She got out of the verbal and into the inexpressible and she started to act out this praise. Rejoicing is praise in action. She started to not just say it, but do it. And what did God say in the rejoicing power, Fear flows. And that rejoicing on that porch caused a. It's like turning a faucet on quarter and turning a faucet on full. You can praise and power is flowing, but when you get into rejoicing, it's like the power ratchets up and you know the story. The miracle after miracle after miracle that he did for her in that tight. That tight time frame, under pressure, with Dr. Having just gone home and all the other emotions she's going through. The rejoicing took her to another place. But you remember, she had 18 months of that demonic assault. Tried everything, didn't work. Then God said the praise cure at prayer meeting, remember? And for one week, hundreds of times a day, Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Praise. No emotions. Didn't feel like it was going past the roof. She said, praise the Lord. You. You see, because in praise, it's still a flow of the spirit. It just takes longer. Now, she did that for a week, then she's with those ladies. And he said, now rebuke it. I've been rebuking it. It hasn't worked, not from this place. Now she see praise took her to that place of the Spirit. Then she rebuked it. That demon left. Now, notice in that case, because. And I asked the Lord, I could be wrong, but I asked the Lord, Pastor can judge this. I asked the Lord, I said, lord, sitting on the front row, I said, lord, but praise works. Because Pastor Nancy did that for seven days and it worked. And he spoke to me and he said yes. But she wasn't under a time pressure. She had been going for 18 months. It don't matter if she goes for another week, another two weeks, another month. She's not under a critical time crunch. Praise will get the answer, but it might take longer because past power is flowing, but it's flowing to a certain measure. But when you get over into, out of your spirit, man, a dance, a shout, a jump, a gush, a leap, a rejoicing that is joy unspeakable and full of glory. The power of God that was flowing in praise goes up and you get maximum power moving for your need. And that man, when he got from that prayer, praise for a week, she's just rejoicing. When she got from that. When he got from that praise to that laughter, that laughter was rejoicing. Here's the amazing thing he didn't even understand. He didn't even understand why he was laughing. Isn't that amazing that God can make something feel funny? And you don't even know why, because he knows your brain doesn't have the knowledge. And he's bypassing your ignorance because he knows if they don't get into rejoicing. I can't move. I want to move, but I gotta get that boy laughing. I gotta get that lady dancing. I'm telling you, there's a spiritual truth to what I'm sharing with you. We were. We were in. We were driving and I was very young. I was like a. I don't know, 16. We were in El Salvador doing a youth conference in the jungles. And then we're coming back because the hotel was in the main city and we were driving an hour and a half each way to get to the conference and that we had to go through one place where it's very, very dangerous. This is El Salvador back in the early 90s. There was gorillas. Not oo oo oo gorillas, but bang, bang. Gorillas, those kind of gorillas. And they are out for you. They want to invite you to dinner and then they want to kidnap you and ransom you. And if you're white, if you're a gringo, you're prime target. So the pastor, the El Salvadorian pastor, he says when we go through this stretch, he said, we are going to go as fast as we can. So if they try to pull out, we'll just run them over, literally. And he says, no one speak. You've got to be quiet. So we quiet, you know, Quiet, you know. And it's a pickup truck. There's three of them in the front. Me and my friend are in the back and we're holding on. I mean, I just love it. The wind is in my hair. The gorillas are in the jungle. And I'm just. This is. This is what I'm made for. We do the service how hundreds of kids are saved and healed. I'm high, flying high as a kite. We come on back, it's 2 o' clock in the morning. We're going to this hotel. We're just so excited. And the truck in the middle of that spot breaks down. And I'm serious. I mean, it broke down. And the guy who's a Salvadorian gets out and he's under the hood and he's trying to fix it. And he's like, shh. Because, I mean, they're right there in the jungle and they don't want. He knows that we'll be kidnapped. It's 100% guarantee. So he says, shh, shh, shh. So anyways, I'm in the back and I'm holding on and I'm being very quiet, and he's being my friend, being very quiet. And the youth pastor, who's with us, who's our leader, is in the front, and he opens the little sliding door and he says, shh. And I said, okay, okay. And all of a sudden, so he's talking with the other guy while the driver is trying to fix it. And I don't know, something struck him as funny. So he starts. The youth pastor starts going. And so. But the guy's like, shh, shh. So. So he's like. So I look and I said, what's going on, Pastor Anthony? What's going on? He goes, and he starts. I'm telling you, I've never experienced it before or since, but that laughter, it's like it jumped because it's spiritual. It jumped on me. There was nothing funny. And I started to Go. And then it started to go. And I'm not lying to you. I started to laugh, like. And when you're laughing that hard, you can't be quiet. And I'm going. I mean, I am laughing, and he's hitting me. He's like. And he's laughing. And the other guys, we fall into the bed of the pickup truck, and we are rolling in the bed, laughing at the top of our lungs. And in the. My mind, I'm thinking to myself, it's like I'm watching myself. It's like, this is a surreal. I said, there's nothing funny. There's nothing funny. Why am I laughing? There's nothing funny. But I can't stop laughing. He gets out of the car to try to stop me and falls into the ditch laughing. The pastor does hysterically. For one hour, we laugh like I've never laughed before. And then in one second, it's gone. And I look and I said, what was that? He goes, I have no idea. He said, but we're gonna die. Say, no faith. No faith. We didn't go to a faith church. We went to you're gonna die church. And he said, shh, shh, shh. I said, pastor Anthony, if the sh. Was important, we've been making noise for the last hour. If they were gonna find us, we'd be dead. And he goes, I know, but just be quiet. Within 30 minutes, a man pulls up. We don't know. We've never seen him. Nobody had ever seen him before. I think he might have been an angel. He said, God has sent me to help you. He went under the hood for 30 seconds. The car started, and he said, follow me. I will escort you through this danger zone. And then when we got to the hotel, he took off. We've never seen him before since. Nobody knows who he was. And so while I'm sitting on the front row while he's doing his praise, you know, he's finishing up the service, and God is teaching me this. God spoke to me about Pastor Nancy, and he said, now, when you were in El Salvador, what you don't know is you were going to be kidnapped. They were going to find you. I needed to get power to you and all your. You didn't even understand confession. My church didn't teach me confession. It just taught you, say, call those things that are as though they are, not as though that be not as though they are. It's just, if you're sick, you just say to everybody, I'm sick. I didn't even have the confession part down. So God saw the ignorance, but saw he needed to deliver us. And he needed us to get into rejoicing even without understanding it. I tell you one more and I'll be done. I'm in India. I'm half the man I was today. Am today. 119 pounds of pure handsomeness. I've got a backpack almost as long as me. And I got a guitar, and I went jungle to jungle to jungle to jungle, village to village to village. And I'd play my guitar and I'd swing my hips and I'd preach, and people would get healed. I mean, God was so kind to me, brother. I didn't even understand. All I'd read was a Wigglesworth book. That's the only doctrine I had. And Wigglesworth just said, you know, Wigglesworth's crazy. So I just tried to do what he did. And people got healed all over the place. And I thought I was some amazing person. I didn't realize I knew nothing but God in his mercy. So then they invite me to preach at a Bible school up in Delhi. So I take the train up from Bombay to Delhi. And the pastor said to me, listen, when you get here, he said, there is an outbreak right now of tremendous hatred toward white people. He said, and there are gangs in different areas looking for white people. He said, at this station last week, they caught two tourists, decapitated them, left their heads on the platform as a warning. If you're white, don't come to this station. He said, but this is the only station that the train goes to, and you have to come and preach. So I'm going to meet you. Be in the front car. Don't be in any other car. I will have security with me. Be at the front car. I will meet you. As soon as the door is open, I'll meet you. Because you don't want to get out without me. There are people looking for. It was like a demonic thing that just swept through that area. And nobody was safe if you were white. So I'm a little bit nervous, to be honest with you. I got my backpack, I got my guitar, and I've just got my Wigglesworth book in my hand. And I'm just. I'm thinking, what am I gonna sing? I'm gonna have to move my hips again. What am I gonna do? And I'm at the front car, and the door opens and I step out and I'm looking, and there's nobody there. And I'm looking around and there's Nobody there. It turned out later he wrote the date down wrong and he thought it was the next day. So I get out of that station, I'm looking, I'm looking, and all the people are getting out and they're walking and it's halfway down, there's the exit. So if you're at the front or the back, you have to come to that middle part to exit. And there's nobody there. I remember it's a bad feeling. I started to panic. I started to sweat, like. It's a very weird feeling, like. And I don't understand faith, really. I don't understand. Like, I understood now, but I'm starting to sweat. And I said, oh, Jesus. And I'm starting to pray in tongues. It's like emergency tongues. There's no faith being released. And I'm like, I can feel myself. I'm starting to hyperventilate. And so I start to walk. I don't know what to do. So I start to walk toward the exit. I have to find a telephone. This is before the cell phones. I had to find a telephone. And I'm thinking to myself, where did I put his number? Where did I put his number? And I'm obsessing about where the number is, but I know, don't stop and look for it. Just keep going, find a phone. So as I'm going, these group of people block the exit. And at first I didn't think anything of it. I just thought, well, they're just waiting for the train, but they're looking at me. And there was about 40 of them and they walked toward me and they. And then they encircled me. So there are 360 degrees around me on that platform. And it still hasn't dawned on me what's happening. And I look down and one of them has a weapon in his hand and they're looking at me. And there's a look that people have when they're going to commit murder. I don't know how to explain it to you, but you can see it in their eyes. There's a deadness in their eyes. And I looked at them and they were looking at me with that dead look. And I started freaking out on the inside. I mean, I'm sweating, I'm saying, oh, oh my God. Oh my God. And I know what people say when the light flashes. Before my life started to flash, childhood memories started to flash. And I know that they're going to kill me. I know they're going to kill me. It's like. And I'm Trying to. And I kept thinking, where's his phone number? I don't know why I kept thinking about the phone number. It's like, I can't get that out of my mind. But there's no phone. And I remember I did this. I put my backpack down. I'm holding that guitar case, and I put my head down, and I said, jesus, I need your help. And I started to cry because I was so under pressure. I knew, this is it. I'm done. This is it. I'm finished. And I said, jesus, help me, Jesus, help. See, no faith. Because I didn't be taught faith. He'll understand where you're at, how much more. When you come to these places and they teach you, how much more are you responsible? But I said, lord, help me, Jesus, help me. I don't know what's going to happen. Help me. And I wanted to say, I'm ready to come home. But those words wouldn't come out. I just said, help me, Jesus. And I heard the audible voice of God. I heard audible because he knows I was so stressed he had to say it audible. And I heard this. And I know you will think I'm crazy, but I heard this. I swear, hand on the Bible, he said, and it was loud. Spin like a top. I remember that shook me first of all, because it was so loud. And then I thought, spin. And they're all standing there and they're taking small steps toward me. This circle's getting narrow. And I said, spin. Spin like a top. Like, I'm saying it out of my mouth, Spin. I'm in an emergency, and all you've got to say is, spin like a top. I didn't say it, but I was thinking that. And I was actually annoyed. Like, what are you. What's your problem? I'm crying out to you, and you're saying, spin. But I remember, I thought, well, if. If he said it, I'll do it. And so I didn't even think to put the case down because I'm so frightened. I'm squeezing that case, the guitar case, and I just started to spin like this. And I'm. And I'm spinning so fast, the guitar case turns like an airplane wing, and it's flying. And I'm spinning and I'm spinning. And then a thought came. When I stop spinning, I'm gonna pass out because I'm gonna be, like, drunk. That's all I can think. And I'm spinning. But I heard the Lord say, praise. Praise me. So I just spinning. And I'm just saying, I praise you, Jesus. I praise you, Jesus. And I'm just. I'm just yelling, praise you, Jesus. Praise you, Jesus. And I'm like, almost crying because I'm so scared. Praise you, Jesus. And one thought is, where's the number? The phone number? The other thought is, why would he say, spin like a top? It's so mean. He knows I'm stressed. Why would he do that to me? And the other thought is, I'm gonna pass out when this is done. I mean, there's nothing. I have no knowledge, spiritual at all. But I'm spinning as fast as I can, and I'm saying, praise the Lord. Praise you, Jesus. Praise you, Jesus. Praise you, Jesus. And I must have done. It felt like five minutes, but I think it was probably only 30 seconds, maybe 40 seconds. And then I heard another audible voice while I'm spinning. I'm not lying to you. This is as serious as it gets. I wouldn't be here today if this didn't happen. I heard another audible voice. Second time he said, now curse them. My God, I didn't even know what he means, curse them. I've never heard anybody curse anybody. My church teaches that witches curse you. I'm not a witch. I'm not supposed to curse people. I don't know what he's talking about. I Learned later that Dr. Sumrall, under the anointing, would curse people that drop dead. But I didn't know that. So as I'm spinning, I went from, praise the Lord. Praise you, Jesus. And I just started saying, I curse you in Jesus. And I'm screaming. I'm screaming, and I'm going around and around. I curse you. I curse you. I curse you. And I just felt the Lord say, stop. So I stopped. And I thought, I'm gonna pass out. But I didn't. It's like all that spinning for two minutes, I was normal. I didn't feel any dizziness. And then I'm thinking, that's amazing. I'm not passing out. And then I looked at my eyes, and they were God's power. I'm not lying to you. Had frozen them. One guy had a thing like this, and he was coming at me, and he was just. He was just staring at him in trance. He's just. And the other person is like this, and the other person like this. And. And they're just. They just. They're all like statues. And I'm looking at them. I'm still thinking, where's the number? I'm still thinking, why did he Tell me to spin. I don't understand anything. But now I'm mesmerized. Cause it looks so weird. People like statues. And I'm looking at them and I'm kind of moving and I'm looking around, I'm looking around, I'm looking around and they're just frozen. They're just standing there like they're statues. And I said, my God, Lord, that is so cool. I've never seen something like this before. And then I said, lord, what should I do? I mean, it was an honest question. I just said, lord, what would I do? And I heard the third audible voice. And he said, run. And I'm not lying to you. It so shocked me, I jumped. Because I'm thinking, oh my God, he has done a miracle. And I'm looking at the miracle. I grab my case, I grabbed my backpack and I'm looking. Where do I go? I'm disoriented. Where's the exit? And I'm trying. And a little man walks through the crowd. Little small Indian man. He said, I've been sent by God to help you. He said, I have a rickshaw. That's a three wheeled demon vehicle. Ever seen them? He said, I've got a rickshaw. He said, I'm going to help. I don't know if it was an angel or not. Maybe it's just a man, I don't know. But he said, I'm here. I said, let's go, we need to run. He goes, yes, we do. And so he starts running and I start following him and. And as I'm going through, they were about four thick, four layers thick. And as I'm going, the emotion and the pressure is starting to lift. I'm realizing I'm not gonna die. And then my flesh took over and I thought, if I'm not gonna die, these jerks tried to kill me. And so as I was going, I elbowed one of them right in the chest. I was so mad. It's like I was so stressed and. And I'm so relieved and I'm so angry. How dare you try to come. And I banged him. And I shouldn't have done that. But he's a statue, he can't do anything. I run up that hill, I jump in that rickshaw, I look down the hill and all of them are coming out of that trance and they're searching for me on the platform. They're looking, they're looking, they're looking and they're saying, where is he? And they're like, where is he, where is he? And I just waved at them. And then I said to the guy, this rickshaw better darn start because they're going to be coming in a minute. And we sped away. Now all of that happened. I'm sitting on the front row in this conference, and God is talking to me about El Salvador pickup truck. He's talking to me about Pastor Nancy dancing on her porch. And then he said, you've been asking me. And I have. He said, you've been asking me for over 20 years why I asked you to spin like a top and I've never told you. And you thought I was just being weird. He said, I'm teaching you now, son. You were in an emergency situation. They were going to decapitate you. You knew it. The pastor told you your life was in danger. You didn't understand faith. You didn't understand any of that stuff. I had to get you into rejoicing because maximum power was needed in that moment. And without you understanding it, without you having knowledge or doctrine, I spoke and told you because remember the other one? I felt something funny. But in this situation, I'm not going to be funny. I'm crying. I'm almost so scared. Funny wouldn't have worked. Laughter would have done it. But laughter wasn't the right flow for this. Only one thing would have worked is me to dance. And that's why he said, if he had said dance, I would have said, you got to be kidding me. But he said, spin like a top, because that action. That action. And then he said, praise. Why did he say pray? Because as I'm praise, I'm rejoicing and I'm dancing and I'm spinning and I'm rejoicing and I'm dancing and I'm spinning. And while that's happening, power is being released. Then he said, now, he didn't say, curse him first, he said, curse him later. Because that power was released. Now when I say, I curse you in Jesus name, name. Now power is made available to freeze those punks. I'm so grateful I went to that service. I walked out of that service armed. I realized there's a truth that many people don't understand. My praise always works. But when there is a time critical issue, if you'll get into the inexpressible joy and act on that power, the faucet goes full. Power flows to maximum potential. When you dance before God, when you laugh before God, when you shout and roll and jump and run, and when you do those actions, power is working. And let Me tell you something else that Castaneti said last night. What your attention is on matters. Let me tell you one of the greatest things about relationship rejoicing. It keeps your attention where it should be. Because when you're under the pressure, it's easy to look around. But when you are rejoicing, it garners. It brings everything into focus. And your attention is on the Lord, because you're not just saying it, you're doing something. I have found rejoicing helps me keep my attention, right. By the way, don't wait till you're in trouble. Wigglesworth danced 10 minutes every morning when he was asked the secret of your great faith. I dance before the Lord 10 minutes when I get out of my bed. When you dance all, every day, power is flowing. Can I put it this way? In advance? There is power, a reservoir made available before you even get to the problem. So when you're there, power's there. If you wait till you need it, like most of us do, and then you move, that's fine. Power will help you to meet you in that need. But there's a higher flow, and that is do it in advance. That's why Wigglesworth did it. Every day. Every day, 10 minutes, believe me, is a long time. Have you ever tried to dance for 10 minutes? I tried the other day. About 90 seconds later, I fainted. I mean, it's just. It's just. It's a lot. You need to be in shape to dance for 10 minutes. My God. Especially in the morning, your stomach empty, you need coffee or whatever it is. But I'm saying if you'll do it in advance. Power is there to meet you when you need it. And if you forget, if you just get into rejoicing. There is a difference between praise and rejoicing. Thank God for praise. I'm not minimizing. And there is a time for verbal. And it will always work, but many times it takes longer. If you get into that joy, the flow of joy brings glory. If you get into that joy, I don't care how bad it is, how impossible it seems. If they're gonna kill you, if you're gonna lose your job, they're going to repossess your house. What the doctor said, what anybody said. Rejoicing in the rejoicing in the rejoicing in the rejoicing Power. Power flows. Now stand up with me. And I want you to think about something that you are in need of today. And I want you without any. You can play music if you want, but we don't need music. I didn't have music on the Indian platform. You got to learn to get into it on your own. Music is a great help. Do it if you want, but I just want you think about what you need right now. Think about. I've got something in my heart. I need this Father. I'm believing for a miracle in this area. And I now. And I now say. I say power. I assign power to that area. I sign the resurrection power of God is working in that area. But now, now I step over. I step over. I step over. I. I step over. I rejoice. I rejoice. I rejoice. I rejoice. I rejoice. Come on, dance, shout, jump, run. Rejoice. Power, Power is flowing. Power is flowing right now, right now. I say power is flowing into that need in Jesus, Jesus, Jesus. Name Hallelujah. Hallelujah. It's flowing, it's flowing. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Let nothing be impossible to us. Let nothing make us afraid. The world may laugh at us. They don't understand this. This is a spiritual act. Pastor had a. To dance before the Lord is spiritual and not when it's going good, when it's going bad bad. When it looks impossible, that's when you rejoice. Can you leave here today armed with another tool under your belt, no matter what it looks like, no matter how bad it is, assign it with words and then step over into the rejoicing. Rejoicing causes power. And like Pastor Nancy said, rejoicing, power flows when you rejoice. He didn't say it flowed when you stopped. So the longer you rejoice, the more power flows. And doing it intermittently throughout the day. I was driving Pastor Debbie. I got to. I've never done this before. But the joy of the Lord hit me in my car. I was believing for a miracle on something, and I heard the Holy Ghost say, dance. I said, I'm in my seat and I'm doing this. You gotta be careful because you'll hit the gas and the accelerator together. And then I got to the style and he said, get out. I said, lord, you want me to get out? There's people behind me. There's people. It was so overwhelming. I've never done it before. I just. I was so overcome. Joy, unspeakable, inexpressible. And I felt glory. I jumped out of my car and I began to dance around my car. And people were looking at me like, get the butterfly net. He's crazy. And I didn't look at him. Don't look at people. You'll stop dancing. I just start. I just danced around my car, and then I danced around my car again, and then I got back in and I sped away because I was embarrassed a little bit. Because people think you're nuts. But I'm telling you, I got that miracle. That dance got me that miracle. Don't forget the power of rejoicing. Hallelujah. Thank you, Mama. Hallelujah. We trust you've enjoyed this message. Guest Speaker: Craig Field
Host: Nancy Dufresne
In this vibrant, faith-charged message, guest minister Craig Field dives deep into the biblical principle of “rejoicing”—specifically focusing on the supernatural power that is released when believers move beyond verbal praise into expressive, inexpressible spiritual joy. Field unpacks scriptural foundations, personal testimonies, and practical applications of rejoicing, illustrating how this action releases God's power, especially in times of critical need. With an engaging, sometimes humorous delivery, Field offers clarity on the distinction between praise and rejoicing and inspires listeners to tap into the maximum flow of God's power through joy.

On Distinction:
“Rejoicing is the expressive form of praise. If you want to get in the spirit, you start to rejoice.” — Craig Field (19:45)
On Emotional Flow:
“It starts in the spirit but must be expressed physically... it cannot be expressed only in words.” — Craig Field (22:10)
On the Supernatural Power of Joy:
“In praise, power is flowing, but it’s flowing to a certain measure. But when you get over into a dance, a shout, a jump—a rejoicing that is joy unspeakable and full of glory—the power of God goes up and you get maximum power moving for your need.” — Craig Field (1:15:50)
On Facing Ridicule:
“It’s not the dancing in terms of trying to be cool... it’s a dancing out of your spirit. Sometimes it can make you look foolish ... but you don’t care what you look like.” — Craig Field (32:40)
On Consistency:
“Don’t wait until you’re in trouble—Wigglesworth danced 10 minutes every morning... when you dance all, every day, power is flowing in advance.” — Craig Field (1:24:00)
On Rejoicing Being Spiritual:
“To dance before the Lord is spiritual, and not when it’s going good—when it’s going bad. That’s when you rejoice.” — Craig Field (1:32:40)
Reflect on your current needs.
Assign God’s power to your situation with your words...
Then step over and rejoice—dance, laugh, shout, leap—knowing the flow of God’s power increases with your joy.
“In the rejoicing, power flows.” — (attributed to Pastor Nancy Dufresne, referenced by Craig Field)
