A lot of people think investing is only for people who already have a ton of money and honestly that's what stopped me for the longest time. I thought I needed to know everything first or have some giant amount sitting around to even get started. And between work, life, kids, chaos, I definitely didn't feel like I had the time to sit there stressing over stocks all day. What I like about Acorns is it makes investing feel way less intimidating. You can start small and it kind of grows with you. Once I actually started putting money in consistently and letting it do its thing, it changed my whole whole perspective. Instead of feeling guilty about not starting sooner, I finally felt like I was at least giving my money a chance to grow instead of just sitting there. One feature I really love is the Acorns potential screen because it shows you how your money could grow over time with compound interest. Seeing those number laid out visually honestly makes you think differently about even small amounts of money. Like okay, maybe those little daily or weekly investments actually do add up. And I also love that it's all in one place. I I don't need 15 different finance apps cluttering up my phone. With Acorns you can invest, save and keep everything together in one app, which makes it feel way more manageable. If you're busy and don't want to turn finances into a full time job. If you've been putting off investing because you feel like you don't know enough or don't have enough money to start same. That's literally why I love Acorns. It makes getting started feel realistic. Sign up now and Acorns will boost your new account with a five dollar bonus investment. What's up, you sexy motherfuckers? Welcome to another podcast. Today I have another Vegas baddie in the house and I'm so excited to be sitting down with her. Literally. The breakout. I think you're one of the breakout stars from Calabasas Confidential.
B
Oh, my goodness. You think?
A
I. I think so. Suede Brooks is in the house, baby.
B
Hi, guys. I'm so honored to be here.
A
I'm so. You're so beautiful and I love. I just found out that you're an Aquarius.
B
I am indeed. Yeah. February, I'm a triple Aquarius. Triple, triple down.
A
What is it?
B
What's the Aquarius? Yeah, like my rising. I don't really know much about it, but I know that like every single thing is Aquarius in my. I love that.
A
That's kind of why you're so like airy and like just light, I think.
B
Oh, absolutely. And I feel like when I meet other Aquariuses, I'm like, oh, yeah, I'm an Aquarius. Oh, see? Real recognized, real girl.
A
I'm on the. I'm on the very beginning, though, so I have a lot of that Capricorn pull.
B
But what day's your birthday?
A
January 22nd.
B
Okay. I'm the 8th of February.
A
Yeah, we're right.
B
We're right around the corner.
A
I always feel like February Aquari Aquariuses are so much softer. I feel like I'm like, very aggressive and rough and like.
B
Well, that's agreed. I think with Aquariuses, you either have that like super alpha female and it's hard touching into that, like softer. At least for me, it's. It's hard.
A
Now. You're so feminine.
B
You think I try my best?
A
No, you're so feminine. I don't get masculine energy from you at all.
B
Yeah, I feel like there's a time and a place. Yeah. But it's like me and my older sister. Yeah. I'll definitely be like the, the big dog. But other than that, I try to like, you know, be demure. Ah, I know. Be cutesy. Try my best.
A
I love it. I think you handled yourself on the show, which. We'll talk about it later. But I think you handled yourself on the show pretty well. I know the Internet has difference of opinions, which we'll get into, but.
B
Absolutely. And I can't wait to get into it. I feel like you're the perfect person to talk to this about.
A
Yeah. And I'm. And I think. Didn't Gemma just interview with Vile Files or something like that?
B
She did indeed.
A
Yeah. Has that dropped yet?
B
It did drop.
A
Did it drop? Oh, my God. I didn't see anything about it.
B
Yeah. She said some honestly awful things about me in that podcast. I was very upset with the way that it was handled. I'm honestly very upset with production. Netflix. I was pitched a show that was completely different than the way that it turned out.
A
So that's usually how it happens.
B
Yeah.
A
I feel like, especially with. Don't take this the wrong way, but with, like, the younger crowd, I. I feel like they manipulate you guys a lot, and they get, like, bits and pieces of what they want, and they'll pitch it to you one way, but then how it comes out to the masses is a completely other way.
B
Absolutely. I think the way that they edited me in it specifically, I mean, I didn't know any of the cast members, and I wasn't friends with any of them.
A
Okay.
B
So they're all a lot younger than me, and they're all from Calabasas. Like I said, I'm from Vegas. Yeah. So I got pitched the deal from a mutual friend, and they were like, hey, we just need another girl. Like, that will bring on some fun, you know, texture to the show. And obviously, I'm here to do my job, and I take my work very seriously, so it was something I was super excited about. And the filming process was amazing. I mean, it was definitely scripted for me, at least, because, like I said, I didn't grow up with these kids. I don't know them. And I just, you know, turn my personality on when I needed to.
A
Yeah.
B
So.
A
Okay, well, let's dive into it. I was going to wait till later to talk about.
B
No, I know. I don't believe you were, like, trauma dunk queens.
A
No, please, dump all you want. Okay, so what made you say yes, though, to. To, like, reality TV after, you know, controlling your image online? Because you were. You've been influencing since you were, like, 12.
B
I have, indeed.
A
Which is wild.
B
I've been on the Internet. Yeah. Since I was 12 years old. I started making videos because I was, like, severely bullied throughout middle school, and I just hit this really gnarly depression in, like, sixth or seventh grade, and I would watch these girls on YouTube, put on makeup, and I Just fell in love with it. There was just like a whole beauty and fashion side to YouTube that I just like was in awe of. And I was like, if I'm learning all these tricks, why not, you know, do it myself? And like I said, I was severely bullied throughout middle school. I went through a really tough time and I've always been able to control my own narrative on the Internet, you know, and that's so great about what we do is because we're able to get on the Internet and say how we feel. And so I said yes, because it was something new and it was something exciting. And I don't consume reality television. I've never watched really any of the Housewives or anything along those lines. But when they did pitch it to me, it came off as this super fun, light hearted show with kids that were, you know, born and raised in the valley, that have famous parents. And it was just something that was interesting to me that I was like, you know what, you only live once. Let's just try and see how it goes.
A
Yeah. You know, which, I mean, anybody who's brought this deal is gonna be like, absolutely, I wanna do that.
B
Absolutely. And then you see them like, you see the money, you see the rate. I'm like, okay, at the end of the day, this is my job and I take my job very seriously.
A
Amen.
B
And when that, when those mics are on and those cameras are on, I snap into the suede. Yeah, I snap into the suede that people love and have seen on the Internet for 10 plus years, you know, so. And the rest of the cast has never really experienced the Internet side of the world.
A
You've lived a lot of life as I was researching you and I'm, if you see me over here, I love that I have like a ton of notes right now.
B
Yeah, it's amazing.
A
You've lived a lot of life and I think that that's kind of what sets you apart. Like you could automatic as soon as you walked into that room of, of. I don't want to say kids, but as soon as you walk into that room, kids, you can feel the difference of maturity from you as opposed to the other. Because they're still learning, they're still.
B
Absolutely. And they're all like still growing. They're all still living at their parents house. I moved out when I was 15 years old. You know, I've been living by myself, paying my own bills. So it was definitely like I couldn't really relate to them.
A
Yeah.
B
Because they're, they're all come from, like, rich parents.
A
And so you don't have the rich parent backstory.
B
I don't have any of that. I mean, I grew up in a very middle class family in Las Vegas. It was basically like, me and Tana. That was like, me and Tana were the only really girls who kind of like, came out of Vegas.
A
And I love Tana. Tana's my girl.
B
No, she's my sister. I love her to death. She's always been, like, literally my rock in all of this. But, yeah, it was something new that came to the table, and I was willing to take that risk. I was upset about the edit and the way that they made it seem like I was super close with these kids, that I had this special relationship with this girl Gemma on the. On the show, which we can definitely get into. Yeah.
A
What is the dynamic with you and Gemma? Because I haven't watched the podcast. I did not even know that it dropped. That's how much press it didn't get. So.
B
Thank you. Which. Which I'm so happy about because it. It really hurt. I mean, I don't know the girl. I don't know her to the point where even in the show, I don't know if you'd watch, but, like, I didn't even know how to spell her name right. It got to the point where, like, I really. I filmed one scene with her, which was that beach scene, and that was the first day I met her. And they wanted to make it seem like I was friends with her before that or I had known her when I really didn't. And then the next scene producers got into my car, they looked at me and they said, hey, you're gonna do a scene with this girl, Gemma. She's going through this thing with this boy, and something happened in freshman year. And I'm sitting there like, okay, like, any way I can help this girl kind of get out of these emotions, I'm here. And I spoke and said some things that I would say to any other girl. Going through that situation that you're meeting
A
for the first time.
B
That I'm meeting for the first time,
A
I think is a huge, you know, bullet, bullet point that we need to, you know, drive home here, because I feel like the Internet is like, oh, my God, you got. You did this to your girl, and you turned your back on this, on your girl.
B
It's like, how can I turn my back on somebody I never had a relationship with in the beginning? And also, Gemma's a bully. I mean, the things that she said about me post filming the show. We filmed the show last year in July.
A
Right.
B
It's been one year. And I've only really said, like, a few words in my life to this girl, and for her to go on the Internet and say the things she's doing, it's malicious and mean. And I'm. I stand up for bullying. I work very hard in my philanthropy with bullying. I work very closely with the foundation, and I travel around schools and talk about this because it's a very serious thing. Yeah. And I went through it personally at a young age, and to see it all just kind of come up in this nasty light is really sad, because this show was supposed to be something fun and lighthearted, I think, for all of us, and it just kind of blew up.
A
I feel like Gemma is. And I don't know her. I've never met her, but from what I've seen from the scenes and from what you're telling me about, like, kind of what she's been saying on the. The podcast is it seems like she has a hard time letting go of things, and she lets her emotions control her. You know, when she got up and she, like, yanked a pillow out of
B
somebody's hand, it was awful.
A
That's. That's. That's when you're crossing the line, and that's when you need to. People need to throw up boundaries. I can't even believe the producers let her do that. Now, listen, I come from a fighting background, right? If somebody's grabbing a pillow out of my hand, we're scrapping.
B
It's smoke. Straight up, straight up, straight up.
A
But I couldn't, like, in this day and age, I also couldn't believe that the producers even kept that in there because.
B
And you would be surprised the amount of stuff that they cut, too, that seems.
A
Let's talk about that.
B
Yeah, absolutely. And, like, that's what I'm here for, because I want to be able to be, like, honest with the situation. Obviously, I wanted to kind of go along with the reality show in the bit, but, like, it's gotten to a point where, like, I want to. I want to clear it up. I want to clear my name, and I also want to clear, like, just the debauchery that blew up on the show. That wasn't supposed to be that. It wasn't supposed to be what it was. You know, Gemma, from the beginning of the season, I think producers knew that she was gonna do anything, right, to get some clout coins, some little tokens. You know, this girl is A normal girl who lives in Calabasas. I've heard. I mean, even now, it's crazy. I'm getting. I'm getting messages from, like, girls from her old high school. Like, she was a mean, mean girl in high school. She did awful things to other kids. And. And now that it's all coming out, I'm like, I'm just gonna let the truth speak for itself. Yeah, I want those.
A
If there is a second season, people will start to see a pattern with her. And I'm telling you, the masses change their minds constantly.
B
You know, Absolutely.
A
Obviously, it's like the old saying goes, hurt people, hurt people. So something happened in Gemma's life where she feels the need to have to project her pain onto other people. And that's never okay because in the end, you can not bleed on the people that didn't cut you.
B
Exactly. And honestly, I've been nothing but loving and nice to that woman since the day, like, we've filmed to the premiere date. If you've seen, like, there's been, I think there's a few, like, an interview of me just talking about Gemma. And honestly, I was. I was telling this interviewer that I was so proud of how good of a season she did, and she, like, I was just saying great things because I didn't want any issues at the end of the day, like, it's reality tv. I'm not going to say anything bad about you as long as you don't say anything bad about me.
A
I swear, every time I look at a phone bill now, I'm like, why are we all just accepting this somehow? Your wireless bill starts at one price, and then by the time they add random fees, you're paying way more than you expected. That's why Mint Mobile caught my attention. This is a paid message from GoFundMe. Meet Juan Naula. When his son was hospitalized for a viral infection, Juan started a GoFundMe to pay for medical expenses.
A
It was 5k to pay the bill for my son and I needed only 22 hours. It was amazing. People really trust on GoFundMe.
B
How did Juan raise $5,000 in less than a day? He posted a short video on GoFundMe telling his story in 30 seconds.
A
30 seconds. Be specific. Be quick and tell what are you going to be using the funds for? I was nervous to do it because it doesn't feel okay to ask money. But you shouldn't be nervous. Sometimes you just have to do it and see the results. We were able to save my son's life thanks to gofundme that we still have my son with us.
B
Start your GoFundMe today at gofundme.com that's gofundme.com gofundme.com this message reflects one person's experience. But then the second she went on Vial Files and said what she said, I was like, oh, I want nothing to do with the show. I want nothing to do with the production company. The way that they even just like, I'm gonna, like, really, I'm gonna go there and be honest. They had like reposted the things that she'd said about me on Vial Files and the president of the production company had reposted it and thought it was like, funny. Mind you, what she said in the in the Vial Files video, she verbatimly looked at the camera and goes, she fucks men for a living. Not, I think not, in my opinion.
A
Can we pull that up?
B
It's. It was awful. And like, I've tried to escape this narrative for the past decade in my career. I obviously, I date men in a different tax bracket than her. And she clearly just cannot fathom that she's never been exposed to the life that I've lived. And so I think from what she sees on the Internet and what she can grab and pull, I think she needs to learn that she can't just go online and say those things and think that it's okay.
A
Right.
B
You know, so when that came out, I immediately called, like, my close friends in the podcast world, in the industry, and I'm like, what do I do about this? Because she needs to learn a lesson that she can't just go online and say those things and expect. And not expect any repercussion. You know, like, especially at that age, I know for a fact she's going to look back in five years and realize, you know, what she said and did sometimes. But it was hard. It was like, dang, like, you're that nasty, you're going to go there.
A
Well, I think she's triggering your childhood wounds also, because she's now become your bully. And it's like you've ran your whole life trying to escape, you know, bullies.
B
It's like PTSD straight up.
A
But I think the. The best thing that you can do is keep being you and keep leading by example, because love always wins. I know it's the hardest thing to do, and I know it sounds like, oh, that's so cliche, but I promise,
B
you gotta take the high road.
A
You have to take the high road.
B
I also think that, like, these kids. I'm gonna say kids, because that's what it felt like.
A
Yeah.
B
And I'm sure a lot of people can read that dynamic on the show. They've. They never, like, experienced, like I said, they never experienced any of this. So, like, they're getting clips of them and they're on this high, you know? But once that, like, dies down, they're gonna realize, like, oh, shoot, I might have. I shouldn't have said what I said for sure.
A
And so for people who don't know what the beef is over.
B
Yeah, let's. Yeah. Sorry, guys.
A
Let's talk about. So if you guys have not watched Calabasas is Confidential, please run to Netflix and watch this. I did not think in a million years I would get sucked in to this show. And I watched, like, two episodes, and I was like, oh, I'm in. Like I said, I'm watching this. No, I did. So, okay, there's this boy named Dylan.
B
Yes, there is.
A
Talk to me about Dylan. And so Gemma had hooked up with Dylan, and freshman year.
B
Dylan and Gemma have, like, I guess, hooked up freshman year of high school. And I didn't know Dylan when she was telling me all these stories. Mind you. Like I said, I didn't know any of the cast members.
A
You met her one. One day.
B
One Time.
A
And this is all you heard about him was meeting her that first time. So we just want to clarify that, ladies and gentlemen, before you form an opinion.
B
Absolutely. So also, like, I wanted to make a moment in the show. I knew if I was gonna do this show, I was gonna find a way to get a little bit of screen time, you know, Like, I wasn't gonna half ass it. And also, I needed to find a way to kind of, like, kind of stay in the show. So I saw Dylan. I met Dylan. I thought he was so cute, so handsome. I'm like, there's no way that this is the kid that Gemma's talking about, that whatever happened six years ago in high school or whatever, you know?
A
And you even stuck up for her the first night when you first met him, when he was being a douchebag.
B
Absolutely. And I always will. Like, I don't. I don't think any man should say what he said to ge, period. I don't care how much beef you have, you just don't say that to women.
A
Right.
B
And that night was actually my first night I had met him, was at that party.
A
Did you know right then and there, you wanted to hook up with him when you met him?
B
I. Fun fact. I actually was never intimate with him. So that's also, like, another huge thing that should be known. I never hooked up with him. I never had sex with him. Like, this was all. I hate to say it, and I hate to break that it was all scripted, but, like, for my story and my storyline in the show, the only way for me to stay in this season, I was like, okay, well, I'm not gonna let this girl Gemma control what I do in the show. That's a fact. And so I saw Dylan. I was like, oh, he's cute. And the amount of times the producers told me to kiss him on camera, it was like they had a gun to my head. And I didn't do that because I knew that. But personally, my morals. I would never kiss on camera on national television. I personally think it's the most embarrassing thing to ever do.
A
I think it depends on the setting.
B
Yes. And also, like, the person. Right, right. Like, they're kids.
A
You guys might see me kiss on camera later on. You know, you never know.
B
You never know.
A
I'm single and wild now, so you never know what could happen.
B
Aren't we all? Oh, my goodness. So, yeah, that's also like, another huge thing that, like, people don't really understand is that, yeah, I never was friends with them.
A
Dude, I totally Thought you guys banged.
B
No, because the way he made us.
A
He made it sound like you were like a wildcat. Like, he just couldn't.
B
There's not even. There's not even a scene of me even smooching the kid.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, the most I ever touched him on camera was because Bill Dixon, the head show producer, he pulled me aside and he goes, suede, you for this scene, you need to act like you're, like, kind of flirting. Is it the beach scene? It's the beach scene. And I'm like, my arm. And you can tell that, like, okay, I'm doing this because I want. Obviously, I want a good show. I want a successful show. Right. And me and the head show producer ended up becoming really close.
A
And so was Gemma's reactions pure?
B
Well, I think for her it was real. Like, she thought all of this was real.
A
Okay. And you could. There's no way that you could pull her.
B
There's an on and off button with my career. I have my real life, I have my real friends, my real connections. And then I had this TV show with a bunch of kids that I had to kind of turn the switch on to make a show.
A
You finessed a situation.
B
Absolutely.
A
And it worked because, you know.
B
And you know what?
A
I think you and Dylan sold the show.
B
Like, yeah, if it wasn't for Dylan and I, like, there would be no storyline.
A
There would be.
B
You know what I mean?
A
Yeah.
B
It was very much like the Dylan and Suede and Gemma kind of situation.
A
Well, Gemma is known, though, for being upset all the time.
B
I mean, she scream cried probably five times throughout the whole season over absolutely nothing.
A
Yeah, it was a lot.
B
So. And like, even that, like, I already knew off RIP that I wasn't going to be friends with her.
A
Right.
B
And the only person I was somewhat close with during the whole show and even before the show was this girl, Nicole. And me and Nicole share the same manager. So we were. Me and her were pitched the show at the same time.
A
Right.
B
And they said, okay, well, we'll take Nicole because she's from the Valley and she knows these kids. And Suede, she's just a big Internet personality. Why not bring her in to, you know, make a little suede latte here and there.
A
Can we talk about the suede latte? Because that is so funny. You're like, can I get the suede latte?
B
And it's so funny how that actually, like, ended up becoming, like, such a moment. Yeah. Which honestly, I'm so happy about.
A
No, I love it. I love her. Name, by the way. Thank you. Is that your real name?
B
It's my real name. I have a sister named India and I have a brother named Blaze.
A
Oh, my gosh.
B
So we all have pretty fun, crazy, crazy names.
A
I love that. No, suede is so pretty. When I first heard that, I was like, God, if I ever have a little girl, I would.
B
Honestly, if I was a boy, I still was going to be suede, but it was going to be sw, A,
A
D, E. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
B
So I love that.
A
Oh, we were talking about the suede latte system.
B
Oh, my gosh. Yes, the suede latte. So a close friend of mine owns a coffee shop called La La Land, and he had reached out to me about a year and a half ago and he was like, hey, we're gonna, we're gonna do this secret menu situation. We're gonna get you and a few other big influencers in la. We're gonna do lattes. And I'm like, I love coffee. I've always had a passion for it. I make coffee for myself every morning. And I was like, let's do a banana cream latte. And so I curated the whole kind of latte and we did a big press release. We did a whole launch and it's still on the menu to this day, which is so fun. Now it's funny because I did this a while back, but it's funny how it kind of like recircuits and now you have kids going up to the coffee shop, he get a sweet latte. I love it. I think it's so sweet.
A
The sound on TikTok I think is viral too.
B
No, I know. That's what's so. And like, people are recreating it, which kind of cracks me up.
A
But like I said, let's do it together.
B
Oh, we have to.
A
We'll do it together before you leave.
B
100%. 100%. You'll be the barista.
A
Yeah, let's do it.
B
But, yeah, so, like, I went into the show just wanting to show my character, show who I am as a person. And with the way that, you know, these reality shows work, they like to cut it and edit it the way they want and make you seem.
A
Who do you think got the best edit out of the whole show? I think because I feel like even though people are mad at you, I feel like you and Dylan got like the best edits.
B
We definitely got the most screen time, for sure.
A
Yeah.
B
And like, like I said, I'm. I'm not gonna half ass anything. I do. I'M gonna go into this. Like, I'm gonna. I'm gonna go balls to the walls and try my best not to obviously disrespect anyone, which I. Which I won't.
A
I mean, even sitting here being hurt by Gemma's words on vial files, which didn't find.
B
The thing is. Yeah. So the vial file situation before that dropped. Me and Gemma were on good terms. I. I made a pat to her, and the second we finished filming, I said, hey, as long as you don't come for my family and you don't come for things that will actually hurt me, babe, I'm all for you making tiktoks for the success of the show.
A
Right.
B
Purely for the success of the show. Have fun. Do what. Do what you want. But then it got real. I landed in New York about a week ago, and we were all supposed to film the. It's like, an interview they were supposed to do, like, as an added episode. And I landed in New York, and I opened my phone, and somebody had sent me the bio files of what she had said. And when she said what she said on that, I was like, oh, I
A
can't believe I missed that. Doing my research last night. That's how much it did not pop it.
B
Honestly, I'm so happy about. Because, like, it's like, girl, if you're gonna say something like that, at least come with receipts. And, yeah, I know for a fact that girl don't have receipts, because I've never done that day in my life.
A
Yeah, I mean, that's just. It's a low blow.
B
It's a low blow, babe. Like, come on. Yeah, I'm all for going tit for tat online. Funny. Like, but now when you're affecting my. When you're affecting my career and my reputation. Yeah, that's where I'm like, shine.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, I don't have time for you. You're a. You're a random girl that lives in Calabasas that, actually, I hate to break it to you. Lives on my best friend's land. Her. Her family bought a. Bought a property on my friends, like, literally, like, my uncle's land.
A
Yeah.
B
So it's like, I don't want to be affected by a girl that I have nothing to do with that I genuinely don't know.
A
Well, I also feel like they're kind of ganging up on you, too.
B
Oh, absolutely.
A
Can you see? Can you?
B
But it's like, imagine coming from that much money and being rich and having famous parents, and you're still not Cool. It's like, girl, you got all the resources to be.
A
She has Preston, like, joining in now
B
on Tick Tock, which is also like. And mind you, I've had issues with Preston's mother. Okay. Oh, so it's like, to have. Yeah, that's. That's where I'm gonna start. Wait a second.
A
Yeah, no, so Preston's mom is.
B
Preston's mom is Larsa Pippin.
A
Larsa Pippin. Okay. I feel like I'm gonna keep my comments to myself, but. Okay, so yeah, it is a grown ass woman. She's my age, right?
B
She is indeed. Yeah.
A
So why on earth would you ever have beef with this woman?
B
I didn't have like, beef with her. I, like I said I've had issues with Larsa, so the fact that I'm even having issues with her son now, I'm like, what is up with this family tree, babe?
A
She's grown to be acting like that.
B
Like, and also, Preston, like, you would think with all that money and fame that you would have some sort of personality. Like, the guy's unemployed.
A
That guy's never strikes me as being very passive.
B
And also, I'm gonna leave this, I'm gonna leave this very. As like a, A blank statement. The guy hasn't found himself. And I think he's dealing with a lot of demons that he hasn't come to terms with with himself.
A
Well, we gathered that.
B
And the way that he acts as a 21 or 2 year old.
A
Yeah.
B
Male. To be coming at women like that on the Internet and you think it's funny or you think it's whatever.
A
Well, I think it says more about
B
him than anybody else.
A
Well, and as, as an adult looking in, I can see that he has a lot of mom trauma.
B
Absolutely. And I don't blame him.
A
He even kind of, he even kind of talks about it and breaks down in the show talking about how much his mom has affected his is, you know, growing up and all that stuff. So not giving him a pass. But he is 21, so he's got
B
it and he's still growing and he's still learning. But that's what I'm saying. Like, yeah, I feel like when these kids do look back at this show, they're gonna realize like, oh, wow, I shouldn't have stooped to that level or I shouldn't have said what I said.
A
And that's why they want you guys, because everybody's green and everybody's willing to make those mistakes because that makes a great tv.
B
Right?
A
Are you gonna let. If they ask you to come back for a second season. Will you come back for a second season?
B
Honestly, it would depend on the rate. It would depend on where I am at my, with my business at that point.
A
I don't think you should ever let the way these people are acting towards you ever determine your future.
B
Yeah, agreed. I also just don't want the narrative out that like, I'm like best friends with these kids.
A
Well, I think you're setting the record straight now.
B
Yeah.
A
So.
B
Which I'm very happy about. Yeah, that's what I really wanted to clear because I would never be friends with bullies.
A
Yeah.
B
I would never be friends with girls like Gemma.
A
So where do you and Dylan stand?
B
Me and Dylan are on great terms. He is honestly been the only one in the cast that was kind of like there for me throughout all of it because like I said, this is all very new to me and I think nude for him too. But I told him when the cameras were off and all of the mics were off that me and him, no matter what, we're going to be on great terms. I never thought of anything serious with him. I never thought that I was like, I never thought that I would like, see him as like a significant other whatsoever. I was purely just having fun and trying to make great tv.
A
So now that the cameras are off, have you guys hooked up or anything like that?
B
We haven't. We haven't hooked up.
A
Girl, you're making this boy wait. No, seriously, is he into you? Because I'm going to be asking him all these questions too because, you know Dylan's coming on in like a week. Right? Or.
B
Oh, I love that. No, honestly, he's great. Like me. Me and Dylan have such a great friendship that I also like have moved on and I'm on to like. I just don't see myself dating him. I don't feel like 21 year old cowboy. Like, I don't. That's not my.
A
Yeah, I don't feel like he's in your tax bracket.
B
No. Thank you. Preaching to the choir, babe.
A
It's like, it's, it's very.
B
It was all fun. It was all fun. Supposed to be fun and light hearted
A
and that's not me being mean in any shape or form because Dylan seems like a sweet, but he has a
B
lot of growing to do.
A
Yeah, well, that and it's also you're used to a certain type of man that you date, so I'm used to men. Right, right, right. Yes.
B
You know what I mean? Yeah, yeah, yeah. It's a different. Different ball game. Different field, if you will.
A
Yeah. Let's see this clip from Gemma really quick so I can analyze it.
B
Yeah, please. I need the bunny analyst. Seriously, can we talk about suede? Oh, please, can we? So I was confused. And I'm a fan of Sway.
A
Yeah. But the first episode or the second
B
episode, she's giving you big sister advice. Yeah. And then the next episode, she's dating Dylan. Yeah. Basically, it's giving Amanda Petullo. She was close to you, right? Yes. So, like, was that as shocking?
A
A hundred percent.
B
I think everyone was completely shocked by that because she was so much like, I'm bigger and better than all of you. She was really giving that vibe. And I'm gonna coach you guys and, like, be this big sister to everyone, specifically, or. No, just in life, I feel like she always is. Like, I'm just gonna be a person you can go to because I've been doing this for so long. And, like, she acts like, I. Why would I even bother, you know, with that? That's basically how I got it from her, is like, why would I even bother with that kid? Like. And then they went home after Kiki Chella, and I don't know, I guess she gave him a ride home. But then that was.
A
Multiple rides.
B
Yes, multiple.
A
Where did the two of you stand today?
B
We're not friends.
A
Yeah.
B
I don't. I did not appreciate the comment about calling me an unemployed. I don't think what she necessarily does counts as employed, so. Oh, no, no.
A
What doesn't she do?
B
I mean, like, you know, she was. And she was big in her time. No longer, you know. How do you think she keeps up with that lifestyle? She goes on yachts with guys and does things for money. And so I. That's. I don't count that as employed either. So.
A
So the photos of her, like, with Drake were.
B
You're a yacht girl. Let's just say what it is.
A
We've all sucked a dong for some money. Okay.
B
I know that's right.
A
Like, what are we saying, Gemma?
B
Like, babe, you have it so twisted.
A
You're a yacht girl. I love that. Okay, so yacht girl.
B
Yeah. Literally, right? I'm like, shit, I'll take it.
A
Is that all she said? This is a very.
B
Yeah.
A
Dry, dry, dry.
B
It's giving snooze fest.
A
Yeah.
B
Okay.
A
I watched, too.
B
I was waiting for the punchline. And mind you, if she would have said this and had a punchline after that made, that would have made me laugh.
A
Yeah.
B
By all means, have a Ball. But for you to verbatimly say that.
A
Yeah, I feel like she's a little threat.
B
She's never lived in the real world. You can tell she's been stuffed up in Westlake Village for the. For her whole life. You know what I mean?
A
I feel like it's giving just. She's super jealous and intimidated.
B
Absolutely. And I hate that, by the way. I don't blame her. I'd be jealous, too.
A
Seriously, I hate that for her because it makes her look very bitter. Like, her entire storyline on and off camera, like, is this what you want to present to the world is just being this bitter woman who literally puts down other women?
B
This bitter, mean girl.
A
Yeah. Like, she's got a. She needs to switch that up, because
B
it will, and I hope that she will.
A
Honestly, it will end up biting her in the ass to where she's gonna have to change, because God doesn't like ugly. And when go around bashing people like this and spewing hatred the way that she does it, it comes back full circle. Always comes back full circle. And she's gonna have to learn a really hard lesson if she doesn't change it immediately.
B
And also, so I think you're already
A
winning this entire situation now. That's love that you guys weren't friends. And to see her acting like this and knowing that you guys had only met one time, like, you didn't. You didn't. You didn't owe her any loyalty because you didn't know her.
B
And I still don't know her. Right. And I don't plan on getting to know her honestly ever again after, like, the things that she said. And, please, I think she's made probably nine TikToks about me, and those are the only ones that are getting views because. And, like, by all means, use my name for views all you want if that's the only way that you can get views, babe, have a ball.
A
Right?
B
But to get Preston in on it and, like, all the other cast members, it's like, girl, I love that you
A
haven't even made one, though.
B
No. Because I don't care about these kids. They're literally kids to me. And I could read that from the day. The first day I was on set, the second they put this mic up and I. And I saw Gemma, I was like, oh, no, I'm in for a ride.
A
Are there? So besides Nicole, is there anybody else in the, like, little crew that you're friends with or.
B
So it's funny, because I'm a friends. I'm Friends with a lot of their, like, older siblings. Like Percy Miller. I'm really close with his older brother Romeo that I've known for years. He dated one of my homegirls for a minute. Yeah.
A
And shout out Master P, dude. I fucking love Master P, dude. I grew up on Master P. How you do that?
B
Straight up. Oh, my God.
A
I was, like, so excited. I was like, look at the OG
B
and it's such a moment, especially with the father, son. Like, it's such a great dynamic. I love it. Like, I've known Romeo Miller, so Hersey's older brother. And then I've known Jody because I know Jordyn woods. And I've known. I know I've known Jordan's mom for years. I met Jody when she was 11 years old, which.
A
Can we talk about how freaking beautiful Jody is?
B
Oh, my God, she's so beautiful. She looks like a little dog of her, too, honestly.
A
And she stays out of grown folks business.
B
I know. That's right.
A
She doesn't bother anybody. Like, unbothered. Yeah.
B
Keeps her head down and, like, she hustles and she's a hard worker. And I've. I honestly have nothing but the utmost respect for Jody. I met her when she was 11 years old, so it's so cool to see her, like, grow and flourish into the woman that she is. Yeah, it's amazing. And, like, I love her mom, and they're all great, but. Yeah. So like I said, it's like, I know a lot of them, like, for. Because of their older siblings or like, they're. It was. I've never really been direct friendship with any of them.
A
Right.
B
With literally any of them.
A
It's so crazy to me that they did this show and didn't have Alabama Barker on it or Landon.
B
Highly agreed. I'm. I'm very close to Scott and Scott Disick.
A
Yeah, we're gonna talk about Scott.
B
We can't, because he's like a. He's a brother to me, and it's so fun.
A
Let's segue into that.
B
Let's.
A
Yeah. Yeah. So I. I was very shook that they didn't ask Landon or Alabama, because I heard that Landon and Alabama through, like, the absolute raging parties in Calabasas. And, like, they are like, Calabasas.
B
So that's what I heard, too. I think, honestly, they probably asked her and she said no.
A
I don't know. She left a comment and was like,
B
how are you guys?
A
Yeah. But, you know, she could have just been messing around too. But honestly, I've been Trying to get Bama on the podcast forever. And we've.
B
I think it's awful the way the Internet really jumps us.
A
No, I'm so protective over her because I'm friends with her mom, Shayna, so.
B
Okay. Yeah. So that's like, baby girl.
A
Yeah, I'm sure.
B
You look at her like you look at your own daughter. You're like, I would never want. I mean, the way that they excuse my language. Her up on the Internet. It's awful.
A
It's. But I love that she's turning the tides now, as she should.
B
And she's honestly so talented. I can't wait for her to drop her own curling iron.
A
Girl.
B
I know. And drop her own extension. It's like, like.
A
And she needs to do a wig line.
B
Absolutely.
A
Girl has the best wigs I've ever seen.
B
And she's like. She's talented. Like, she knows how to do hair.
A
Absolutely. So let's talk about Scott Disick.
B
Yeah.
A
You guys never dated?
B
We never dated. He's been a close. Okay. So I met Scott when I was.
A
He's like, how old are you?
B
I'm 25.
A
Okay. And he's like, 40 something, right?
B
I think now. Yeah. We just celebrated his birthday, like, not long ago.
A
Scott be hanging around the young chicks.
B
He does. And it's funny. I met him a while back in New York when I was. I was definitely underage for sure. We were leaving a Vogue party.
A
Not shocking.
B
No, not shocking. Checks out. Okay. Scott, we love you bad. I know. He's watching this too.
A
Yeah. Oh, I've talked about Scott throughout the years.
B
No, he's.
A
Let's get the Lord on the podcast.
B
No, he should. Oh, my God. Honestly, I would have brought him. Honestly, he's like. He's a very close friend of mine. And even when the show dropped, the first message I got from him was, how are you guys gonna make a show in the Valley and not call me?
A
You know, Scott's like, I wanna be the babysitter.
B
No, Straight up. But, yeah, there was, like, this narrative online that me and him dated. We've never dated. He's always literally been like a brother to me. I see him.
A
He's not creepy.
B
And, like, he's never been like, he's not creepy. I'm.
A
I love that.
B
Yeah. I'm like, it's like family. Like, straight up. I love Mason. Penelope's a sweetheart. All the kids are great. Like, he's always, honestly been there for me, and especially during this whole reality show stuff. If I could say one person that has had my back and helped me through a lot of these situations. It's him, like, because he's been through firsthand, and he knows how these narratives get spun. And this. That, the third, please. If I could tell you the text messages he's sent me about that girl Gemma. Oh, you will be surprised, because he watches.
A
He know Gemma, or he doesn't know
B
Gemma personally, but, like, he watched the show and he's like, oh, my goodness.
A
He's like, I've grown this before.
B
Thank you. He's like, oh, this? I could read this from a mile away.
A
Yeah.
B
So it's great. And I have, like, he really. I have the utmost respect for him.
A
I love that. Let's circle back to your childhood. Just.
B
Let's do it.
A
Who don't know, like, your. Your background and your upbringing. So you grew up in Vegas.
B
Born and raised in Vegas.
A
You were homeschooled. I mean, tell me all about your childhood.
B
So I. So I grew up in. Yeah. Born and raised in Henderson. And I was a pretty normal, outgoing girl in elementary school and up to middle school, I was the captain of the cheer team. I had such a passion for cheerleading and dancing, and that was like, basically my whole life up until about eighth grade. That's when everything just kind of went downhill with my emotions. And this is when the. All the bullying started happening. I was really.
A
What was the catalyst for the bullying starting?
B
So I was severely bullied by a family friend of ours. They lived directly across the street from us. It was a mother and two twin. The mom would say awful things to me. Comment. This is, like, right when Instagram was happening, too. She tried to run me over with her car. And that was, like, the final straw where my mom was like, oh, okay, this is real now, and we need to do something about it.
A
I'm okay. So she tried to run you over. What were. What was her ground? Not that there's ever an experience.
B
It was so rude of jealousy. Wow. The. The whole thing was about, like, me copying the twin girls, like, in clothes, because, mind you, we all shopped at the same stores.
A
Right.
B
We all went to Pakistan because they had the Brandy Melville and all of us. I mean, half the school had the same T shirt because we would all go back to school shopping at the same places.
A
Right.
B
It was all rooted in just jealousy and comparison. And it got grown women to pick on children. Oh, as for a mother, that's crazy. It was. It was so traumatic at that age, too. I felt like my world was collapsing. I was 12 years old, I would sit in my room and just watch these girls put on makeup. And I was. I would watch. I mean, please. Trisha Paytas.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, I mean, there's a whole group of girls that I could name off that really impacted my career and YouTube era. Yeah. And like. But, like, the prime YouTube era. I'm talking, like, when it was 20. Yeah. 2012 to, like, 2017. I traveled the world. I would go to, like, BeautyCon. I. I don't know if you remember imats, but yeah. So growing up, I started.
A
You just started making these videos? I was doing it for fun at 12.
B
Nobody knew. So my. I hid my YouTube channel for like a year from my whole family.
A
Okay. So would you have gotten in trouble had they found out?
B
Okay, so the whole. I was hiding it because I. Back then, like, saying you were a YouTuber was, like, embarrassing or, like, to say you made videos. It was like there was, like, a negative connotation to it. So I kept it, like, to myself because it was just something I just had fun.
A
Like, it was like.
B
It was my escape, and it's what made me happy. And I just geeked out over camera equipment, lighting, editing. I'd be. I would. I would sit for hours and just edit these little beauty videos and upload them, not thinking anything of it. Like, mind you, I didn't even know you could make money. This was before the influencer business was even, like, a thing, you know, you were influencing Before. Before, yeah. And I was just like, I'm having fun with this. Yeah. And so, yeah, I hit it from a year. I was in Target one day and the little girl had come up to me. I was with my mom, and she goes, I love your videos. And the second she said that, my mom's face went, like, blue because she was like, what. What type of videos are you talking. What do you. What do you mean, videos? So obviously, as a mom, you think the worst, you know?
A
Yeah.
B
And so I had to sit down. Both my parents. I'm like, hey, guys, I have a YouTube channel. I've been making beauty and fashion content. I really have a passion for it. And they were just so happy that I found an escape, my parents.
A
They were happy it wasn't anything else, you know?
B
I know that's right. And it will never be okay.
A
But.
B
Yeah. So my parents also come from the beauty background. We own a few hair salons in Vegas at the time, and my mom's a hairdresser, and my dad ran and managed all of them.
A
So which hair salons you want to shout them out or.
B
It was called Diva Studio. Oh, yeah. And it was also just so fun growing up in that environment. I would go to all the hair shows. My mom would travel the world and do teach for all these, like, amazing hair brands. L', Oreal, Wella, all the OGs. So it was cool. Just I also had a feeling I was gonna be in an industry somewhere like that. Whether it was hair, makeup, anything like that. Yeah.
A
It's just in your DNA.
B
Yeah. So they were just happy that I found something that I had a passion for and that I loved, you know, And I was keeping myself busy, and one thing led to another. I kind of built this, like, pretty solid fan base on YouTube. And once you get big on YouTube, every. It's like, it's definitely the most respected platform.
A
Yeah.
B
You know what's the hardest.
A
Hardest to build on too.
B
And it. And it is the hardest. And once you. I don't know. I'm gonna show you because you'll laugh at this. This is my one tattoo that I have.
A
Yeah.
B
And it's the little YouTube playbomb. I'm like, I had to pay my dues, you know, Back to the roots.
A
I love it.
B
Yeah. YouTube was such a big part of my life. And then once the adpocalypse happened in 2016, I kind of strayed away from it just because all the advertisers pulled out and we weren't making a less than a quarter of what we used to make.
A
Wow. And you always managed to up a platform. Always. It doesn't matter what platform it.
B
And then I just kept making kind of short form content. And then once TikTok came around, I was like, oh, no, we have a whole new app on the market. This is dangerous. And I started posting on there and I just kind of posted what I knew what would do well on YouTube back in the day, which were get ready with me and like everyday makeups on YouTube. So I would. I posted them on TikTok and I kind of built this whole new Gen A fan base on Tick Tock with my little get ready with me during COVID Yeah. And it really not. It didn't save me, but it felt like I was like kind of back. Back in the scene, if you will.
A
It was nostalgic for you.
B
It was.
A
Yeah.
B
Because. Because I've always, like I said, I've always had a passion for making videos, so it was nice to just kind of come back to that. But, yeah, growing up in Vegas was sick. Yeah. I really loved it.
A
That was prime Vegas time back then. Like, we were just talking about it before the cameras were rolling that Vegas is just not what it used to be.
B
It's not. And there's too many transplants now. The 215 slammed like, God, no, I can't do it.
A
I've tried so hard to go back, and every time I go back, it's like, I'm cool for, like, the first three days, and then I'm like, okay,
B
okay, I'm over it.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, what's next? Please? Even when I go back home. Like, I go home, stay at the win, I don't leave the win.
A
Yeah, let's talk.
B
That's the way to do Vegas.
A
You know, let's talk about how you're a poker player.
B
Absolutely.
A
How did you get into this? I think it's hot.
B
Thank you so much.
A
Chicks gamble. I think it's fucking. And now Tana's doing it too.
B
I love it. No.
A
So tell me, take me on this whole gambling thing. Like, doesn't it scare you to lose money?
B
It does, but I feel like also being from Vegas, it's in the bloodline. It's naturally in us.
A
I mean, listen, I tried to gamble one night. I was at the Bellagio, and I lost, like, four grand one night.
B
So annoying.
A
And I was like, I want a room.
B
I want everything.
A
I'll come back. Give me the PJ back home. Literally. I was so upset that I threw the biggest fit. And I was like. After that, I was like, I don't. Like, I'll gamble with other people's money. So whenever I used to work, I would go and play with the. The high rollers. Of course.
B
You go sit in that high limit room and have a ball, baby.
A
Absolutely, absolutely. So it was okay if they lost 250 grand a year, because as long as I got a little sick about
B
it on the side. We're good.
A
Slipping chips in my little.
B
Exactly. For emergencies. The emergency chips. No, I get you, girl. So the poker thing kind of came about. A close friend of mine that I grew up in Vegas, his name's Blake Wynn. He started, like, a celebrity poker tournament. And he called me one day, and he was like, hey, we're doing a tournament. It's out of 150 people. Do you want to come play? And I was like, you know what? I've never played before. I have no idea how to play, but I'm gonna say yes, and I'll make this happen.
A
Yeah.
B
So I downloaded a poker app on my phone. I learned how to Play on my phone. And within three days, I went to the tournament and I ended up winning first place out of 150 people.
A
That's crazy.
B
And in the poker world, yeah, it was like unheard of.
A
Like, well, beginner's luck. I mean, they are beginners luck, 100%. But has that luck stuck with you?
B
And honestly, I just got back from a poker tournament in Vegas and I'm very proud of myself. I placed, I'm very happy with it. But yeah, poker has become such a passion for me. Yeah, I love playing it. I love, like, especially because it's such a male dominated game. Yeah. When they see a six foot blonde baddie come to the table, they think that you don't know how to play. You know what I mean? That's like better.
A
They're distracted by how hot you are.
B
Thank you. I'm like, titties up. Corset snacks. Legs.
A
Those legs, girl.
B
Thank you. Yeah. So, yeah, I started playing more and more and then these companies started reaching out, like the wsop, which is like the World Series of Poker, which is like the, oh, the creme de la creme of poker.
A
I'm sure they were looking at you and they were like, absolutely. We want her. Right.
B
And the game that I had won, it was the last two players were me and Jose Canseco. And I've always looked up to him and in the poker space at least, because I would always see clips of him and I know, I knew he was always good. So even just playing with somebody like
A
that, I love his daughter Josie.
B
Oh, I love Josie. Me and Josie have been close for years. She's such a good girl. So even. Yeah. Playing with somebody that's like a five time poker champion. I was so honored and I learned so much playing with him. I hope in the future to be playing bigger tournaments. Yeah. But yeah, it's definitely like a fun little side hustle.
A
Is it like a passion now though, or.
B
It is, yeah. I mean, it's just, it's, it's brought in so many amazing opportunities. Yeah. I mean, please, I, I was able to go to the Bahamas with wsop and I stayed there for like two weeks and did a tournament. So the, it's cool. Just the fun opportunities and also just the new people that I've met. I've met people from all around the world.
A
Yeah.
B
At these tournaments and it's just cool. Especially being a girl. Yeah. In the, in the. You. You feel very seen, I'll tell you that.
A
Absolutely. Well, I mean, you're making the Sport look good?
B
Cause it's all.
A
It's mostly. It's a male domain. Yeah.
B
Straight up.
A
A male dominated sport.
B
So, you know, I had to switch it up. I gotta show the Barbie vibe. Yeah, exactly.
A
So moving on from the poker, let's talk about this dating life.
B
Let's talk babe.
A
So you have been linked to Kid Cudi and you guys were together for a couple years, right?
B
We were together for, for a minute. It was. I wouldn't say a couple years, but he had a. Yeah, he made a big impact on my life. We traveled the world together. We had so much fun. He's such a great guy.
A
Yeah.
B
I'm so happy for him and where he's at in his life. He's married and. Yeah, he's just doing great.
A
How did you guys meet and how did this relationship.
B
We met in New York City through a mutual friend. He actually showed up to dinner one night and I was like, I didn't even know who he was because I didn't grow up on Kid Cudi, you know, So I thought he was handsome. And one thing led to another. We had. Yeah, we had an amazing relationship and he's. I have nothing but amazing things to say about him. He's such a solid guy and he's so talented. Yeah, he's fabulous. He's major. He's the biggest. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
A
I love that. So let's talk about this whole yacht situation that happened with you and Drake, because I know there's so many rumors around there that are always flying about, like, you and Drake, but really it was because you were dating like one of his friends or something. Or were you and Drake dating?
B
No, that, that's. That's funny because that was also like another narrative that they kind of spoke.
A
Okay, gotcha. Yeah, let's clear it up, sister.
B
So basically I was staying on my friend's boat and her father had hired Drake to come to the boat and throw a party in San Trope. And Drake had never been to San Trope. And so he came on the boat, he came with his friends. It was amazing. He's such a great guy. Obviously when I met him, I was like, oh, this is so cool that he's like coming on our boat and performing at our party, you know, but yeah, I feel like the narrative that was spun was like, I kind of stepped onto his territory and like, I. When in reality it was like, no, he came onto our program. Right. And it's funny how the Internet likes to, you know, switch things and turn things around.
A
Yeah. And it doesn't matter what you say, they'll still twist it. Like, you can tell the complete, absolute truth.
B
Exactly. And I think they just want to believe, like, the more spicier, like, whatever story.
A
Did you and Drake ever hook up? I'm gonna take that as a yes.
B
Yeah, I mean, we did. Okay. And he's great.
A
Yeah. Would you ever. Are you guys still friends or.
B
I haven't spoken to him in a minute. I don't really like to speak to a lot of my, like, prior flings or, like, my. Or men that I've dated in my past. Like, once you lose me, I'm gone.
A
So he lost you?
B
He did indeed.
A
What did he do? Give us the tea.
B
Oh, my goodness. I gotta hear this. I'm like, what didn't he do?
A
I mean, he's Drake, you know, he doesn't strike me as a man that can have, like, a solid relationship, you know, because he's Drake.
B
And he's also just, like, so talented and so busy in what he does and lives. Like, he lives such a big, big, fulfilled, busy life that I personally couldn't keep up with that.
A
Oh, it's hard. These guys.
B
I mean. Yeah, girl, you. You've been through. In. Through the thick of it, babe.
A
Yeah. So I'm in it right now, sister.
B
No, Right? Yeah, we'll get there.
A
Yeah.
B
Oh, and also, I'm rooting for you. And I'm so sorry.
A
Thank you. You don't have to say sorry. I am free, baby.
B
Is it for the better? Yes, it's for the better. And you feel good?
A
Oh, I feel.
B
Emotionally, you're good.
A
It took me a minute. Minute to get there, but I. It's.
B
But it takes time. Time heals, but time kills, you know,
A
if we're not talking about me, we're talking about you, sister.
B
Sorry, baby.
A
So how long did you and Drake date?
B
We dated. I would say, like, on and off for a few months. Really? I would go see him in Toronto and. Yeah. Yeah. And then one day I was like, I'm. I'm tired of this.
A
Was it just because he had other girls, or was it, like. Was he just not honest? Like, there had to have been something that made you be like, you know, I don't want to talk to this man again.
B
I think it was. It was definitely, like, honesty.
A
Yeah.
B
And leave it at that.
A
Yeah.
B
And that's. I mean, especially when you're dating somebody of that caliber and with that power. When we did end things, it was very. I was very scared for my safety and For a lot of things. For a long time living in la, the things he said to me were very alarming at. When I was. I was 21 or 22 at the time. And when you hear those things said to you about coming from the most powerful artists in the world that has so much power and can do things, the unimaginable within the snap of a finger, it was very scary.
A
What were some of the things that he said that would scare you like that? Because that's not cool. You're 20. You're a baby.
B
I was a baby.
A
Yeah.
B
And I like, please. I still feel like a baby.
A
You are. You are still a baby. 25 is baby.
B
I think I've just experienced.
A
You've lived so much life, girl.
B
You're an old soul. And I feel like that. I mean, I think also moving out at such a young age and being snapped into reality. But, yeah, I don't really want to get into specifics because I hate bringing that stuff kind of back up. Yeah, but he is so talented. I know he has a great heart. And I wish, like, I wish him nothing but the best in his future. I hope he finds somebody that he loves, loves and cherishes for the rest of his life. But it wasn't me. And it got to a point where it was almost like, I physically and emotionally can't give you what you need, so I'm gonna step away.
A
Yeah.
B
And I kind of left it at that.
A
I mean, if he's saying things to scare you, well, that's why you don't deserve that.
B
Well, that's where it was scary, because that's almost abusive, especially with, like, I said, somebody of that power, like, getting text messages that he's gonna have fold me up verbatimly. That's what he said. I was like, for what reason? I'm gonna lock my. It was all miscommunication. He thought I was saying something that I didn't.
A
And did he think you were talking to the press?
B
No, he thought I was talking, like, about him in LA when I never was.
A
So that gives him grounds to say that he's gonna have hold you up, literally, verbatimly.
B
And I was like, oh, my gosh. So I didn't leave. I'm not kidding, babe. I did not leave my house for, like, three months. I didn't step outside. Like, I didn't, like, go out at least, because, like, I was scared, because especially somebody of that power. And I know I've grown a lot from it. And I know he's Grown a lot from it. I think also during that time, it was emotional for both of us because it was just like a big miscommunication. But he is so talented.
A
Houses dong. Because that's really what people want to know about. I mean, we need the tea.
B
I'm like, no comment.
A
Literally. We need the tea on Drake's dong.
B
Okay.
A
Is it as big as. Because wasn't there a picture that got leaked of his dong somewhere?
B
This wasn't his.
A
That was not his. Okay.
B
He wishes it was his. And I'm gonna leave it at that.
A
All right, sister, we cleared that up.
B
All right.
A
So Drake is not packing. All right. Okay. So moving on.
B
Like when I was with him and hanging out with him, he's so fun. He has the biggest personality. He's honestly one of the funniest people I know. And mind you, I'm his type. He likes BBL bandits. Like he likes.
A
I think, thrown off.
B
Agreed, agreed.
A
Listen.
B
And they chase it all. Agree.
A
Exactly.
B
But men will. Even with me. I was very surprised that he even wanted anything to do with me because I'm not that.
A
How old was he when you guys were hooking up? Because he's older.
B
Okay. He was 36.
A
Yeah. That's crazy. 36 and a 21 year old.
B
I mean, he really is like. This is crazy because. Just because I. Just because I met his mother and I seeing their dynamic together, like. Yeah. He is a white Jewish boy. As much as, like, people wanna. As much as he wants to like have this Persona that he's some like, hood.
A
Yeah.
B
Like, he'll. He'll have chubs, which is like his head of secure. He's like such a pure sweetheart. Yeah. That like, you would never. The Persona sounds like threatening you.
A
He sounds like such a sweethear.
B
No, Right, right.
A
So there must be two sides to him then.
B
And like I said, I have. I have nothing but good things to say about him. Besides the fact that he scared you. He, like almost threatened me, which was scary at that age. And I know in that time I give him benefit of the doubt.
A
It's okay for you to be. To speak your truth and to. You don't have to protect him. You know what I'm saying?
B
And I don't. Oh, I don't owe him anything.
A
No.
B
You know what I mean? Like, it was very. I met. He came on my friend's boat. He thought I was cute. We were chirping up a storm. I've never. I've never laughed with somebody harder than him. He's got the Humor. He has like the comedy, which I personally live for.
A
Yeah.
B
But yeah, it was kind of. It was just scary.
A
Yeah.
B
At that age and especially dealing with somebody like that. Somebody that I also like looked up to. I loved Drake growing up. Yeah.
A
They always say don't meet your heroes because.
B
Please, every time. And Justin Bieber is like my number one and I've been in rooms with him where I literally have beelined it out of the room because I feel is. Cuz I have this in my head where he's my number one and I don't want that to be let down.
A
Yeah.
B
You know what I mean?
A
No, I get it.
B
Bieber is like literally my only one where I'm like, ride or die. Yeah.
A
You're like, please don't this up for me.
B
St. Bieber's name or else I will come.
A
Yeah, yeah. She's a. What is it? A believer.
B
Yes, I'm a hardcore believer.
A
What is one of the weirdest celebrity interactions that you have ever had?
B
Oh, this is good. Oh my God. I can say. Let me think.
A
You don't have to say names.
B
Yeah, no. But I'll give you something juicy.
A
Yeah. Because I know you've been around some crazy circles and some crazy parties. Like you've lived a lot of lives
B
for somebody and it feels like that too.
A
Yeah.
B
I think the weirdest celebrity interaction would probably be. Let me. I feel like there's some good ones. There's got to be a good one.
A
What about, like, what's one of the most absurd things you've witnessed at an LA party?
B
Oh, my goodness. There's like. I mean, so there's this one party in LA that happens every year on Halloween and I've only been once, but it's like they do it at this mansion. And mind you, I'm walking in, I'm thinking this, this is just some normal Halloween party. Right. Next thing you know, you look up at the. The each door is like a different room and there's like brothels happening and like just cr. I mean, LA has crazy parties. Yeah, yeah, yeah. And also the thing I find really interesting, just even in the last 10 years, the amount of drugs that these kids consume, and now there's new ones. Like, I remember when Tusi first came on the market and I'm like, what is this pink stuff y' all are snorting? What is to see? Thank you.
A
I don't even know what that is. I know, like cocaine.
B
Yeah, Cocaine right now. So now there's a whole new one. So there's A whole new one called Tusi, and it's bright pink, and now it's. Everyone does it, and it's like, mind you, I don't. I don't drink, and I don't do drugs.
A
Yeah.
B
So, like, I've never really. I. I can only relate to what I know, but from what I see at these parties, the amount of drugs that these kids are consuming now is, like. It's so alarming. And, like, for me, personally, I've never felt the need to have. Have drugs or liquor in my system to have fun.
A
And don't start.
B
I feel like I'm already a walking high, you know?
A
Yeah.
B
With my personality and just how I am, and I love my life. I don't need to chase.
A
Well, now is not the time to do drugs, okay? Because they. You're dropping dead, literally. Like, I mean, back in the day, people were dying, too, but the drugs were way more pure. Nowadays, you don't know what the. You are literally playing Russian roulette. And I know, like, all these kids run around with, like, fentanyl testers and stuff.
B
No, it doesn't matter.
A
If you need to do. If you need to test your drugs before doing.
B
Something's already up.
A
There's.
B
That's your first step.
A
Yeah, that's a problem. Yeah.
B
Yeah. My best friend died of an overdose about, like, four years ago, and dealing with that was because it was fourth of July, and he. He wanted to do a line of cocaine, and boom. A. A centimeter of fentanyl, you're toast.
A
Yeah.
B
And, like, seeing that firsthand, it's like, okay, well, what's the. What's the upside? Where's the upside?
A
There's no upside. Drugs make you feel like they make you look like.
B
Right?
A
There's just. No, there's nothing that is positive from doing drugs except for maybe making a fool of yourself and have. Forgetting the night that you.
B
Forgetting the night. Thank you. And then doing it all over again. It's awful.
A
No, I mean, I did it. I partied whenever I was younger, but,
B
like, we all had our time. Please. I used to. Like, I. I think I've gotten drunk only a few times in my life, but I remember drinking a Four Loko when I was in high school, and I was like, oh, never again. Again. Yeah, this is scary.
A
She said a four Loco, babe.
B
I took a four green four Loco to the dome. Oh. Oh. I've never had one. Gnarly. Are they bad? Never again. I've never had one. Like, literally, I'm like, what is it?
A
What is it? What is it like?
B
It's like gasoline in a cup.
A
E. I. I don't know. Y. Okay.
B
Or like those buzz balls nowadays. It's crazy what they have on the market for these kids.
A
No, I'm out of the loop.
B
So sad.
A
So where do you see yourself in the next year? What do you. What are you hoping comes from doing this reality show? What are you hoping, you know is in the next chapter for Suede?
B
I mean, I don't even know what I'm doing tomorrow, let alone in five years.
A
You sound like me, but I hate when people ask me that, because I'm like.
B
But honestly, like, I really live day by day, and I think this show was an eye opener for me. I hope that I'm able to. I mean, hopefully, if we do get a season two, I'm down. But the show was just, like. Just to kind of see where I was on the playing field in a way. And within the next five years, I mean, I hope to build my own brand. I eventually want my own podcast, just like you.
A
Let's do it, girl.
B
You've definitely been such a big inspiration for me, for sure.
A
No, I appreciate that, but, yeah.
B
And I mean, five years, I'm gonna be 30. I hope to have children.
A
I want my next question. Yeah.
B
I mean, if I could get married enough, if I could have children now, I would. I'm at that phase in my life where I'm ready to settle down.
A
Yeah.
B
There has been somebody in my life for the past, like, year and a half, on and off, that I really do care about.
A
Is it somebody we know or it's
B
somebody you know for sure?
A
Really?
B
A hundred percent. And he's a neighbor, babe.
A
Give us a hint.
B
I don't want to. I don't want to say anything.
A
Say his name and we'll bleep it.
B
Yeah.
A
Oh, my gosh. I love that.
B
So, yeah, he's a great guy.
A
No, he's so sweet. I love him. I love. Did he know you were coming on the podcast?
B
He did. I told him this morning. He's like, no,
A
I love it.
B
I know. I'm sad because he's actually leaving today. I was gonna. I was like, I want him come. It would have been so much fun. But, yeah, he. I mean, even him. He definitely got me through all that Gemma stuff too. He was the first person I called.
A
Yeah.
B
I'm like, what the do I do about this? This girl's going online things.
A
Please, Jason, bleep that every time we say that he has dealt with so much online that he was probably just like, thank you.
B
And. But that's why. That's why he was the first person I reached out to, because I was like, I know you've gone through hell and back on the Internet, so.
A
Okay, so how does that work with the dynamic? Because you are so tall.
B
Yeah.
A
And so not.
B
He's not. I mean, he's not short. I'm. I'm 6 foot. He's probably like 5, 11. Like, we're the. We're like, pretty much the same, but when I'm in heels, I'm six. Two.
A
Yeah.
B
Yeah.
A
Like a tall glass of water.
B
No, no, I've.
A
I've stood next to him before plenty of times, so.
B
I know.
A
Yeah.
B
So he's pretty. I mean, I feel like. I mean, I'm always taller than him, no matter what, literally. But yeah, no, he's like, literally my favorite person in the world.
A
I love that. And I hope you guys really do settle down, because he needs a good woman, and I feel like you're a good woman for him.
B
Yeah. I. I think he also is dealing with some demons that he still needs to get through to that I just can't relate to because I've never been through, like, addiction and things like that. But, yeah, he was. He's definitely somebody I would marry and have children with.
A
I love that. Would you be willing to move to Nashville for him?
B
Maybe. On and off. Maybe like, back and forth. Yeah. Yeah.
A
Yeah.
B
I mean, this is my personal baby. Yeah. So he's. Yeah, he's definitely my first round draft pick right now. And we'll see. We'll see where it goes. Like I said, I'm not putting. I'm not putting any pressure.
A
Yeah.
B
Anything on it right now. But I think also, like, he's getting to that age where he needs to, like, look in the mirror and be like, oh, yeah.
A
Well, he's how old? He's.
B
He's 47.
A
Yeah. Yeah. I was gonna say he's older than I am, so. Yeah.
B
So I'm like, babe, you don't have time. Seriously, let's figure it out. You're like, before.
A
You know, before you start shooting dust balls.
B
Yeah, let's go.
A
Enough is enough. Seriously, you're gonna have to get his sperm tested.
B
I know.
A
Yeah. Because dudes, you know.
B
Please, you never know these days where that's.
A
Well, no, but I mean, his age, they start shooting blanks at a certain time.
B
Also, when. When you're that 8. Like I said, when you're 47. I'm like, is it still alive in there? What are we doing?
A
Have you guys had sex?
B
We have. Okay.
A
I was like, then, yeah, then it should work. But the.
B
But still. Yeah, exactly. I'm like, it could be stale, babe.
A
It's like he's like literally shooting powder blanks.
B
Yeah, let's definitely bleep his name out. Of course, of course. Just for like his sake and my sake sake. But yeah, that's something that I, like, keep off the Internet and I don't plan on.
A
Please do, because people will like, I
B
want to pop out with a wedding ring and be like, surprise.
A
A. I. I'm rooting for you guys. He's so great.
B
And yeah, he's just. He's literally the best. And he's been through, like so many situations that I've gone through, like, just problems and.
A
Yeah.
B
Negative things. He's really gotten me through a lot of that. So. Yeah, he's. He's my little. My number one. At least right now.
A
I like that.
B
My number one draft pick. That's what I like to say.
A
Yeah, I love that.
B
The number one draft pick.
A
I love it. Suede, I have had so much fun sitting here with you. I feel like I could talk to you forever.
B
My Vegas back.
A
I'm telling you, baby, we're bonded for life now.
B
No, it's deep rooted. And I hope that I can come back anytime. And also, you're moving to la, which is. Thank God.
A
Yes. So we're gonna have to all go out and just have fun together. We're gonna have to take me around cuz I don't know what I'm doing. I've been out of a game for so long. Yeah, I've been out of the game for so long. So you guys gotta.
B
Oh, we're gonna put you on the map.
A
Help a sister out. Okay.
B
It's the least I could do.
A
Why don't you shout out where everybody can find you, like your socials and all that?
B
Absolutely. My name is Suede Brooks. You can find me on pretty much any social media besides WhatsApp. Because I think WhatsApp is crazy and it's weird. It's. That one's just a weird one. Yeah. My name's Suede Brooks. You can find me on all social platforms. And this is the Dumb Blonde podcast.
A
Yes, Sister, love you so much.
B
Thank you so much. Of course.
A
And thank you guys for tuning in to another episode of Dumb Blonde. I'll see you guys next week. Bye.
B
Toodles.
