Highlight
Hello. I can't wait to find out what's about to happen.
Eric
I'm kind of nervous.
Doobie
Don't be nervous. You guys literally have known me for what, seven years now?
Highlight
Exactly.
Eric
Yeah. Is that exactly?
Highlight
No, I'm saying exactly. That's why.
Doobie
But it is exactly. It's been seven years. It's crazy.
Eric
Has it been seven?
Doobie
Yeah, time flies. Dude, I was just talking about you guys on the podcast. I did last night. I was saying that not. People don't realize that we have hella history together. You know, not only us, but fucking you and Jay. And you guys go way the back. So for people who don't know who you guys are and who you are, Doobie, why don't you guys just give us a brief intro of who you are?
Eric
Well, my name is Doobie, Come from Columbus, Ohio. And you are that ugly.
Doobie
What do you do, Doobie?
Bunny
You're a rapper?
Eric
I make music, man.
Doobie
Make music.
Eric
Make a little rap, rock and roll here and there.
Doobie
Yeah, you gotta party full time. What about you?
Highlight
That was it.
Eric
Yeah, that's it, man. You go. It's your turn, bro.
Highlight
My name is Highlight. I'm Bunny's brother.
Bunny
Yes.
Highlight
From Columbus, Ohio. I'm a stripper. Have sex, manage this guy.
Doobie
I love it. A weenie boy.
Highlight
Yeah. You know what I'm saying? Drop it off. Nah, drops it off.
Doobie
Drops the dick off.
Highlight
Mr. Drop Off. Nah.
Eric
But Mr. Package Delivered, that's your name.
Highlight
Facts.
Doobie
Mr. FedEx.
Highlight
Yeah, that's it.
Doobie
Sign, Seal Delivered.
Highlight
There it is.
Doobie
Gotcha. So let's. Let's take it back to the beginning. So was it you and Jay that met first? When I say Jay, I'm talking about Jelly. But when was it you and Jelly that met first, or was Doobie already an artist? Like, I don't really know the beginning of you guys.
Highlight
I mean, I'm sure he was an artist, but, yeah, it was me and Jelly first.
Doobie
It was you. And so you used to be Jay's dj?
Highlight
Dj? Started out doing camera work. I did everything for real. But, yeah, me and Jelly met probably two years, maybe three years before I met Doobie.
Eric
Maybe four, 13 years ago.
Highlight
Yeah, it was a long time.
Doobie
Yeah, that's a long time ago. Oh, gosh.
Highlight
In the back of the Suburban.
Doobie
Oh, my God. What about Bertha?
Highlight
That was after that.
Doobie
Oh, my God. Yeah.
Highlight
Suburban was Jelly Rail. Rest In Peace, Mondo, Jerry G. Oh, in the Bourbon.
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
And I knew none of them.
Doobie
How did you guys meet? You guys just rolled up one day at a party and they were there or.
Highlight
Nah. He had a show in Columbus and there was a dude, I think, that brought him, and I think Jelly needed a dj, so they reached out to me. And then after I did the show, the next day, he was like, bro, you should come to Nashville. Came to Nashville, and then that was.
Doobie
It, and the rest is history. And you guys literally toured for how long together?
Highlight
Six years, maybe. Was that about right?
Eric
Yeah, I would say, roughly. I. I remember being in high school and The Whiskey, Weed and Waffle House tape was on live mixtapes. Right. And I didn't even know Highlight yet. And that's how I found out about Jelly Roll. So I was on live mixtapes, I said, Whiskey, Weed and Waffle House. And it had the logo, so it was super catchy. And I was like, oh, highlights from Columbus. Yeah, this is crazy. And so to me, he was like, DJ Drama or somebody like that, right? Yeah. From where I was from, we had a. I had a studio session one day and he just walked in, asked for a show or something, and I was like, fangirling, like, what the hell is Light doing in here?
Highlight
You're a boy.
Doobie
Super cool.
Highlight
You're a boy.
Doobie
He was fanboying.
Eric
Yeah, we like.
Doobie
So you were doing music before you met Highlight, though?
Eric
Yeah.
Doobie
How long had you been doing music? Were you just starting out or.
Eric
At that time, I was still. I wasn't even. I had just turned 18, like a week before that.
Doobie
Right.
Eric
So I was doing music, but it was just like, mainly like, I was doing talent shows and things like that. I had a whole different rap name, everything. It wasn't.
Doobie
What was your first rap name?
Eric
It was Lil E Dub.
Doobie
Oh, okay. Cause your name's Eric.
Eric
Yeah, Eric Williams.
Doobie
We're giving out government names on the podcast.
Eric
I mean, hey, they'll find it out eventually.
Doobie
Yeah, I know they will. Motherfuckers are crazy.
Eric
But, yeah. And then, like, obviously him being with Jelly. Yeah, it introduced that situation. Well, actually, no, I'm going. Be real. Jelly called you.
Highlight
What?
Eric
You said Jelly called you. And when. When you posted me the first time, I say it verbatim because it's funny as hell. He was like, who. Who's that other white you with over there?
Highlight
Yeah, he was with the dude at first, but he wasn't with the dude.
Doobie
That was his little one.
Highlight
White guy. Yeah.
Eric
Yeah. It was funny as hell, though. But then now he. He definitely welcomed me with open arms. And my first show was with you and. And Jelly at Evolution in Columbus, Ohio, I believe. Different dude. It wasn't. It. It wasn't. It wasn't now.
Doobie
I mean, like, compared to what it is now. Just to see you guys, growth is insane. You guys just sold out. What is the hometown Vinnie that you guys were in just now? Yeah, you guys just sold that out. Like, you guys are. And you guys are in la. Like, it's just crazy. So let's talk about once you. So you guys toured with Jay. Was Jay, like, your first, like, main tour that you had gone on and you were like an opening act or had you have done that before?
Eric
Jelly was the first person to give me an opportunity at all, like, especially in the tour life and all that and stuff. Like, obviously Highlight made that connection and he played a super significant role in that as well.
Doobie
But Shout Out Highlight, though, he's a fucking amazing dj. He's got just a one of a kind voice. And I think that's what everybody has always loved about you is your voice.
Highlight
Appreciate that.
Doobie
You're welcome.
Eric
That's funny because when we go to McDonald's or somewhere and he goes to order his food, they'll be like, up to the next window, ma'am.
Doobie
What the fuck? You don't even sound like a female. That's crazy.
Highlight
That's what we started.
Doobie
That's crazy. That's one.
Eric
I'm just saying, man. I'm just saying. But nah. Yeah. Jelly was the first artist I ever went on tour with. Honestly, being on tour with Jelly showed me how to tour. I never had been on a tour before. Didn't know how shows ran. You have your whole. This whole idea in your head before it's time for you to go out there and do it yourself. And then, you know, being around them too definitely had helped.
Doobie
Yeah, a lot. It's taught you a lot of business tips too, and just everything. The fucking music industry is just fucking crazy right now that you guys are out there on your own. That shit's fucking wild, right? Like, you guys were always on your own, but I feel like you guys had like a cocoon with each other, even Jay with you guys, when you guys just had like a family, you know, and it was like you guys just protected each other. And then, you know, you guys branched out on your own. And we went through a bunch of shit that we had to learn from the music industry. And I think you guys probably had to go through that too, right?
Highlight
And just recently, what happened them. Oh, can I cuss on this?
Doobie
No, you cannot. Those guys podcast.
Highlight
Those guys?
Eric
Really? Yeah, those guys?
Highlight
No, we just, like.
Doobie
I think. I think it would be good. A good look. You don't have to say names or anything like that, but you can talk about kind of like just touch base on it. Just because artists that are admire you and that are coming up, like, they can kind of use your story to kind of see what. What to do and not to do.
Eric
Perfect, right?
Highlight
You want me to go?
Eric
You can go.
Highlight
I mean, it's really like, when opportunity presented itself to me and Doobie, it was more of like we were Excited, because especially it depends where you come from as well. Like coming from Columbus, no one ever has ever made it as far as we've gotten from there. So, like, when the opportunity presented itself, it was like, bro, we got to. You feel me? But just, just know what you're signing, you know what I'm saying? Know who you're dealing with. Oh, yeah, because it was just a situation. It wasn't that bad, but it was just. It just presented itself again at a time when we didn't want to deal with it.
Doobie
Right.
Highlight
So, yeah, just be careful.
Bunny
I think a lot of artists get.
Doobie
Eager to sign with labels and like, yeah, I think they don't read the fine print because, you know, they're just so excited to say, hey, I signed a fucking record deal, that they don't even care that they're signing a deal with the devil.
Eric
Well, I think that's the main issue with artists. Any artists in the world's whole main goal is, oh, I want to get signed, I want to be a millionaire, or it's always along the same lines, right? And so out of, like you're saying, being eager and excitement and things, you're like, oh, this is the first deal I've ever been presented. This is, this is it. It's got to be, you know, this is, this is the big main thing. But people don't realize it's not about the money, it's about the situation and knowledge of what you're doing. You know, if you're signing your life away or signing a deal that doesn't necessarily benefit you and it only benefits them, you know, but you lack the knowledge just because you're excited. You find yourself stuck for a few years and at the end of the day, you can't do nothing about it. You gotta fulfill the deal. And sometimes for some artists, it's too late.
Highlight
Yeah, it's that. And it's like once again, where we come from, it's like you don't want to miss the opportunity, right? So it's like. Yeah, so that if you limbo with it, like, ah, what if I don't take it? What if. What happened?
Doobie
What if, like, another one doesn't come?
Highlight
Yeah, it's like you, you just. Yeah, yeah.
Doobie
As an artist, that's got to be probably the hardest feeling. Being stuck with a label or a, you know, a company that isn't in your best interest. You know, it's got to feel like you're like, trapped.
Eric
Yeah.
Doobie
Like, I would hate that. I'd go buck wild if I can burn this down, Pookie. Yeah, like for sure.
Highlight
But as far as a story, it probably, probably wouldn't change it though. It was definitely part of the story.
Doobie
Yeah, well, I mean, you grow as businessmen, you know, and it like you learn, you get, you gain knowledge and wisdom.
Highlight
Yeah.
Eric
Yeah. I'm actually thankful for that situation.
Highlight
Yeah.
Doobie
Yeah. That's awesome.
Bunny
Being an adult has its high points. Like you can eat ice cream for dinner anytime. Or if you want to stay up all night, you can. But it's not always fun fun. You also have to do your taxes and figure out what's for dinner every freaking night.

Doobie
So you guys toured with Jay for, you know, the time that you guys did. What happens after you guys branched out? What did you guys start doing on your own? Like making more music, touring, Like I.
Eric
Think really we used it. We just kind of used the same formula and you know, one day we woke up. One of my songs went viral which.
Doobie
Helped, which is what song?
Eric
Tremendously. When the Drugs don't work.
Highlight
It's over 90 million on YouTube.
Doobie
Yeah.
Eric
Cocaine Cowboy, Indiana Jones. I had to give me a sack like it's for then go, oh my, oh my. I'm rocking high. I'm a shooting star. Like I shot this guy.
Doobie
And that's without a label or with.
Eric
A label that was without. So I just signed what, four months ago?
Highlight
Y.
Eric
So every. All of our success that's happened up to date, even still right now because I haven't even released nothing with with my new label, but one single, my second one with them.
Doobie
Are we allowed to say who the label is?
Eric
Yeah. Yeah. So I'm signed to Black Noise and partnership with Big Machine.
Doobie
Okay.
Eric
So awesome. But yeah, everything up until four months ago has all been just me and him. Yeah, just me, him and the homies. A group of our friends who just chasing the same dream.
Doobie
Would you recommend an artist to stay independent or sign the situation?
Eric
I think it's the situation, you know, like the deal we signed. Obviously I'M not going to logistics or whatever, but it was. It was perfect for us, and it made sense. It wasn't necessarily about the money. It was about, you know, to us.
Doobie
Right. Having control.
Eric
You know what I'm saying? Are we going to be able to be ourselves and continue what we've already built, which is a huge thing, losing it. You know what I'm saying? It was those things that mattered to us. And we came to an agreement and I signed because I felt comfortable. And that was. That was the main thing with me.
Highlight
It's always like a. It's hard to say this because you can still be independent, do your thing, but it's like, how big do you want to be? And you gotta give up some.
Doobie
You hit a ceiling.
Highlight
Yeah. You give up some to gain more. You know what I'm saying? So it's like, yeah, just how big do you want to be? Because that. They block certain corners to where you can't get to.
Doobie
No, that's. That is so real. And I don't think a lot of artists realize that, because that. That is exactly what happened with Daddy is you get to a point in your career where you can only do so much on your own, and, like, the powers that be, the higher ups, you have to have that name behind you if you want to be able to get on the radio. Like, radio is so old school. Like, people don't realize how the spinning records and shit is so old school, the way that they put people on the radio. I don't even know if I'm allowed to be talking about this again, but whatever, here we go. Whistleblower. But it's just there's so many politics that people don't realize that if you don't have. Because some people, you know, got mad at Jay for signing and they're like, oh, you sold out now, motherfucker. It's like, we're trying to go to the next level. We've already gotten to all that we can be. We. We want to fucking go further, you know? And it's not about selling out. It's about trying to fucking reach more of the masses. And a lot of people don't realize that.
Highlight
Definitely, definitely gotta play ball.
Doobie
Yeah.
Eric
I had to literally tell myself that because you get like, as somebody who's been successful independently, you always have that dark cloud. I want to say, like, oh, you're not allowed to sign. Because then if you sign, you're no longer, you know, you're not. You're not the shit to me no more. Because you Sold out. And it's like, dude, how much better do you really want for me?
Doobie
Right.
Eric
That's why you gotta tone that out.
Doobie
Yeah, absolutely. If you could describe your music to people, what would you say that your sound is?
Eric
Oh, man, that was a hell of a question.
Highlight
Sexual entertainment.
Doobie
Yeah.
Eric
I think that own genre.
Doobie
Yeah. Got them balls djing on the table, just the ball sack going.
Eric
I don't know, man. I don't know.
Doobie
Do you think you can even put you in a box or do you feel like you're just growing so much that it's hard to even put a label on you?
Eric
Yeah, I'm. I'm like, I'm so everywhere when it comes to music.
Doobie
I do know you infuse a lot of rock into your music.
Eric
I would say, like when I tell people to explain it, I'd be like, it's like rock, hip hop. But I do so many different styles and I don't really consider myself a rapper all the time. I don't consider myself a singer or a pop star or anything. I'll do a country song tomorrow and be fine with that.
Doobie
Yeah, you guys should.
Eric
So I. We were just talking about that on the way.
Doobie
Put on some leather chaps, highlight.
Highlight
She always want me to have my ass out.
Doobie
You got the cakes?
Highlight
No, I ain't got nothing back there. It's over. I do it, though.
Eric
I don't know.
Highlight
Write me a song.
Eric
It's just music for people who are going through something.
Doobie
Yeah. Real people. Yeah. If you could collab with anybody in the industry, who would you want to collab with?
Highlight
That's a good one.
Doobie
Because you never know, they could be listening.
Eric
Lil Wayne's first. That's my favorite rapper ever.
Doobie
Oh, yeah. He's viral right now on Tick Tock like a motherfucker. He is hilarious.
Eric
Love Lil Wayne, Rod Wave and Kevin Gates. Even though Kevin Gates is pretty crazy. Yeah.
Doobie
What's going on?
Eric
Oh, well, we need crazy.
Doobie
Yeah. No, no, he's great. He's just an Aquarius living his life.
Eric
Yeah, I'm an Aquarius too.
Doobie
Yeah, me too. So, yeah, No, I get it.
Eric
But we're all narcissistic on the rap side on the. On the countryside. I'm going straight for Luke Combs.
Doobie
Hey, Luke.
Eric
If you see it. Hey.
Doobie
Well, you got a plug right here, cuz. She does his wife's makeup.
Highlight
Oh, yeah, we love Luke.
Doobie
You got to suck Haley off and she'll get you to.
Eric
Oh, great.
Doobie
Kidding.
Eric
Guess we'll never get that. We'll never get that.
Doobie
Totally Kidding. Up until now, who's your favorite collab that you have collabed with?
Eric
Favorite collab?
Doobie
Yeah. Can you name one, or is it just. It just depends on the individual song. Like, have you collabed a lot with anybody?
Eric
Yeah. Favorite, though, is, like, tough, because then I feel like I'm just, like, sending everybody.
Doobie
Oh, gotcha. Gotcha. Okay. What's your favorite song that you've ever written?
Eric
That I've ever written?
Bunny
Yes.
Eric
I think right now, which is crazy, that I'm even picking one, because usually I feel like they're all my babies and you can't really pick one.
Doobie
Yeah.
Eric
But I feel like right now it's called change of Heart, and that's just because it talks about me getting sober. For those of y'all who do know me and my past music and everything is about very deeply into drugs.
Doobie
Let's talk about that.
Eric
And, yeah, so I'm, Yeah, over two and a half years sober now. Almost three years.
Doobie
That's so awesome. Congratulations. Because I know the doobie I saw before used to get lit.
Eric
Lots of cocaine.
Doobie
Oh, man. I don't. That's why I've never heard you talk literally every time.
Eric
I. Yeah, I was always just wired.
Doobie
Yeah. Just fucking lit, dude.
Eric
Yeah.
Doobie
That's awesome. What made you want to get sober?
Eric
My son being a father.
Bunny
Daddy doobie.
Eric
Yeah. And I was just. I don't know. Like, I feel like I've partied so hard.
Doobie
Yeah.
Eric
For so many years. And then you just wake up like, dude, I'm not really trying to do this.
Doobie
It gets boring after a while. And now drugs are not the same as they used to be.
Eric
That, too, man.
Highlight
Like, we used to get high and.
Eric
Really just be having fun. Now you get high. You know, that might be your last time.
Doobie
Yeah. No, that's scary. Yeah.
Eric
I want to get home to my son, so.
Doobie
I love that I'm sober. I've been sober since 2017 is when I stopped drinking or I stopped taking pills. 2018 is when I stopped drinking.
Eric
So, I mean, I drink and smoke weed, so.
Doobie
Yeah. So you're California sober.
Eric
It was. It was hard drugs, guys. That was the problem.
Doobie
No, but that's good. No, that's all. Any kind of sober is a fucking celebration, dude. Because it's hard, you know, like, especially when you are in the industry that we're in. You go out and you got to shake hands, meet people. Especially we battle with, you know, anxiety, depression, anything like that. Getting out into a. You know, into the world and being in people's presence. And energies. That's a lot to soak up, you know? So doing that sober, you gotta fucking pat yourself on the back still.
Eric
Drink me some Miller Light though.
Doobie
We know you got two right next to you. We know.
Eric
What am I supposed to have?
Highlight
Where are they at? Over there. Okay.
Eric
Over here with me, man. What, you want one?
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
He loves my light.
Doobie
Well, you know, it could be worse. It could be bottles of vodka, so. Right.
Highlight

Doobie
Shopify.combunny so, Doobie, you have a single that's dropping that we are really excited about. When is it going to be dropping? Like next in December?
Eric
Friday, November 11th.
Doobie
Okay.
Eric
Isn't that Friday?
Highlight
Yeah.
Eric
Forgive me. Yeah, I see. I was on point when I thought I wasn't. Okay, Friday, November 11th. My next single releases on all platforms is called All Him.
Doobie
Yeah, it's called All Him.
Eric
All Hell yeah.
Doobie
And is it. Do you have an album that has been dropped or is this leading up.
Eric
To an album leading up to the album?
Doobie
When can we expect that to be dropped?
Eric
Mid December.
Doobie
Awesome. I'm excited. What is. If you could describe that song. What. What does that song pertain to?
Eric
That's crazy. I just had to. I gotta pull this up real quick.
Doobie
No, you're good. You're good. Highlight. How's it been for you watching all of the success that has come you guys way, like, it's gotta be a amazing feeling.
Highlight
It is. But like even like, you know, it's like not dreamy, but like every day I wake up and I'm just like. I don't have to struggle. So it's just like, yeah, is this for real? How long it's gonna last? But it's an amazing thing. The ride is amazing. The elevation. And it's crazy when I think back, it's like a low key, maybe even high key. Missed the grind part of it. Yeah, like sleeping in the van and everyone being together because like, it was like. It was like 15 of us at one time. And Jelly used to tell me this stuff. Speaking of Jelly, back in the day, he's like, dude, listen, you get to this point, it's gonna thin out and you gonna get to this point and this is gonna be you and Doobie. And like, I still got my homies and I love everybody. You know what I'm saying? But it's just like. It was just so much better back then. When it comes to the homies, it was a brotherhood.
Bunny
You guys were really close.
Doobie
I don't mean you guys still are, but everybody grows up and does their own thing and shit. I was telling them how you wrote a diss song about me one time. Remember? Remember, we're allowed to talk about it. We can laugh about it now.
Highlight
This is what she brought us here for.
Doobie
No, no.
Eric
We can actually.
Doobie
No, no.
Eric
Clear this up. Highlight. How did that happen?
Highlight
I'm about to hit the clapper.
Doobie
No, listen, it is all in good fun and that I just am saying, telling people about that story because it just shows how deep that we go and how close we are, you know, like, we can get through anything. We're family, you know? And I just thought it was funny. We were talking about it last night in the podcast. I was like, people don't realize those are my brothers, you know, I was like, those motherfuckers wrote a diss song about me one time. It was fun.
Highlight
I forgot all about that shit. No, Cap, he's real hiding, too.
Eric
It's. It's funny how that song got portrayed as a dis.
Highlight
That's what I'm saying.
Eric
It was a bad.
Highlight
What are you talking about?
Eric
I wasn't talking about Bunny, but.
Doobie
All right. I mean, but I don't.
Highlight
Song was it?
Bunny
I don't remember.
Doobie
I don't.
Eric
We never. We never released it because of what transpired after.
Doobie
I don't think I ever heard it.
Eric
It wasn't. We never released it was. I. I put up a song on. It was on live. I was rapping a song and whatever the terms were at the time. I kind of put that song as an automatic or shots to everyone.
Doobie
I don't. I never got to hear it. I don't think so.
Eric
Yeah. And so I was like, oh, great. So now I just made of this song, I guess.
Doobie
But you know how the Internet is.
Highlight
You will remember this. You of all people, I thought.
Doobie
But I thought it was funny. I was never mad.
Eric
I remember. I remember it vividly. Just because we all had a conversation and stuff, too, and I was like, dude, this is crazy. How far. This just.
Doobie
Well, the Internet's crazy. The fans.
Eric
And all I did was preview a song of my life.
Doobie
No, it's all good.
Eric
It was timing, and it probably wasn't smart anyway for me to even.
Doobie
No, but it just goes to show that we are, you know, we're all family. And just to touch back on what highlight was saying, like, you guys were fucking thick as the thieves, dude. You guys were, like, in the trenches together, you know? So I got to come along just for a short part of it, but fucking. You guys were in it for. Since from the ground up. Like, literally. I have watched you guys and fucking Jay since I came along seven years ago. Just fucking do nothing but fucking elevate, dude. And that's, like the coolest thing. Like, I'm so proud of you guys, dude.
Eric
Thank you.
Highlight
Thank you. We're proud of you, too.
Doobie
No, I'm really, really proud of you guys. And I just. I hope to keep just watching this fucking journey climb Higher and higher and higher. What's next for you guys besides dropping this album? What are you guys hoping to accomplish in 20, 23.
Highlight
Stadiums?
Doobie
What is it?
Highlight
Stadium, stadium, stadium.
Eric
Yeah, I'm trying to put some more wall jewelry up. Yeah, that's what I'm on. I'm on plaques.
Doobie
Yeah.
Eric
I'm trying to just be bigger. I'm cool. I love the underground music scene. I love it. It's gave me everything I could ever ask for and have birthed me as an artist. But I want more.
Doobie
Yeah.
Eric
I want to come home and see plaques all over the wall and.
Doobie
But you got it. But you're manifesting speak that in the universe.
Highlight
Speaking of plaques, he. Did you just get one of them certified?
Eric
Yeah. Nikki Six went gold.
Doobie
Yay.
Highlight
Right there.
Eric
I need some more too.
Doobie
Yeah, you will. You guys will. I'm telling you. And then I keep trying to tell them. You guys, once you go to his. Their, their websites, when they shout him out, you guys need to tell them to get on Tick Tock because they'll love you. Doobie and Highlight, you know, they'll love you.
Eric
I'm getting on Tick Tock, man. I've been. We just.
Doobie
Working it. Yeah, I just keep working it. For sure. I think it's going to be really detrimental to getting your music out there because you guys make great music, dude. Like it. The world needs to hear it. And like, I just feel like Tick Tock right now is that place to do that. So 2023, you want. You want more plaques? Highlight. What do you want to do in 2023?
Highlight
Just keep elevating. Stay healthy and keep elevating. That's it.
Doobie
Did you ever think he would go from being a DJ to pretty much like a manager, businessman? Well, you're doing multiple things also. He's like, do it. I need to see your personality.
Highlight
No. What would you say? Say it again.
Doobie
I was saying, did you ever see yourself going from a DJ to a businessman and a manager? Because you manage Doobie, right?
Highlight
Yeah. So yeah. I mean manager, you know, a little CEO.
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
Nah. But.
Doobie
But you're doing multiple things. Tell them about your wine. Tell them about shop Holy Center.
Highlight
I didn't expect Holy center to do is doing now and I haven't even like it's scratched the surface.
Doobie
Fucking cool ass line, dude.
Highlight
Yeah. So that was just on some tour bus high and I came home but a couple. I haven't done nothing with it for just all organic, you know, saying I ain't really put no bread into it. I just let it build how it is. So the clothing line Holy center is dope. It's more of a lifestyle, too, so just basically stands for nobody's perfect in a sense. Yeah. The wine we just released, the wine Doobie actually partnered on with that with me too. It's called a sinew black wine.
Eric
Tastes so good.
Highlight
It's a sweet wine. It's nice.
Doobie
You guys will have to send me some bottles so I can have the guests drink out.
Highlight
For sure.
Doobie
For sure. But yeah, so whatever we can support over here, I would love to support, you know. You know, I'll support Shop Holy center, too. I just won't do the upside down crosses, but this one over here loves the upside down crosses.
Highlight
I'm gonna get your take on it first. What is the upside down Crosses?
Bunny
You.
Highlight
What does it mean to you?
Doobie
Well, I just. I know that in the Bible, who was it? Peter was crucified upside down out of respect for Jesus. And I know that whole story, but I feel like culture has turned it into something bad, you know? So that's where I just. As much as I am a little slut pup on the Internet, I do.
Bunny
Still love Jesus, you know, so it's.
Doobie
Like, I just feel like I don't want to represent that culture. But I love your stuff. I love that. The. The Marys and all that stuff. And like, the Pray for me. I have pray for me and Father forgive me tattooed on me. So, like, I love.
Highlight
Mine says don't pray for me.
Doobie
Right, right, right.
Highlight
Might be a hater.
Doobie
Yeah. No, but, like, I'll wear all that other stuff, and I think it's amazing. But she loves it. She comes in wearing upside down crosses and pentagrams and see, I'm not really into, like, I'm.
Highlight
I'm cool with the pentagrams and all that, but it's not really my thing. Mine basically really just stands for nobody's perfect. That's it. Because, yeah, everyone tries to portray this angel all the time, and I think.
Eric
The day is across.
Highlight
Yeah.
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
But it means nothing.
Doobie
It's a dope line.
Highlight
Don't think I'm the devil.
Bunny
No, not at all.
Doobie
No. I love your clothing line. I think it's so amazing. And you guys need to go check it out. Where can they check it out?
Highlight
At Shop Police center on Instagram and shopplacecenter.com.
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
Doobie actually just dropped the clothing line, too, called a bat. Crazy.
Doobie
I love that crazy.
Eric
But is obviously spelled shxt.
Doobie
I need some hat.
Eric
Okay.
Doobie
You guys should have brought you some. I Know what I was thinking? Oh, yeah, I need some hats because I could wear them on the podcast.
Highlight
Yeah.
Eric
It was such short, what you would call it.
Highlight
Yeah, I. With your too. I'll be watching the. The merch drops and shit.
Doobie
You know, it's crazy because we literally sell out every time I fucking drop. And it's like the simplest shit, literally. It's just like. And. But the consumer likes simple. I think when it gets to be too much, you know, people get overwhelmed. So we just keep it simple and it's worked for us. But we just met with a designer this week. We're gonna start doing some other shit. I'm gonna come out with my own clothing line. I think that's.
Highlight
Yeah, I'll introduce you to my guy, Cutting Soul. Put some together, dude. I got designs and she's cool.
Eric
What?
Highlight
It's just like.
Doobie
Yeah, I got. Well, street wear is different from couture.
Highlight
Yeah.
Doobie
You know, designer. I have the guy that just designed my dress for the CMAs. I'll introduce you to him. He's amazing and he lives in la.
Highlight
Oh, no.
Doobie
Yeah, so he's amazing, Jonathan. You'll love him.
Highlight
No.
Doobie
All right, well, I'm gonna play a game with you guys. Can we play a game? I gotta put my glasses on.
Eric
Hold on. This is the part. This is the part.
Highlight
Your butthole.
Doobie
Clench them cheeks, baby. Let's go. All right, so this game is called. Let me make sure. This one's called Never have I Ever. And what you're going to.
Bunny
I'm sure you guys have played Never.
Doobie
Have I Ever before, right? All right, well, it's the sexual and drug Never have I Ever. So I'm just going to ask you questions. We're going to slide through them and you guys can answer as many as as you want.
Highlight
Are we all playing even though I can't see you guys?
Doobie
Oh, no, no, no. Just you too. Just you too.
Highlight
Just saying.
Doobie
All right, ready? Here we go. Never have I ever done cocaine.
Highlight
I gotta drink if you have, right?
Eric
Wait, what is that?
Doobie
If you want to, you don't have to. It's just. You can answer the question. Oh, so never have I ever done cocaine.
Highlight
His fault.
Doobie
You don't like.
Highlight
I'm not gonna point no more fingers. But it was more than just him, huh?
Doobie
You've not. You've never really been into doing blow and stuff like that though, have you? Were you really into it?
Highlight
My nostrils are still not the same.
Doobie
Oh, I don't have in my nose.
Highlight
It was literally.
Eric
You could put the blame on Me?
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
Like, straight, hard. Two years of it. Go ahead. What you say you.
Eric
Two years. Only for you. Imagine, you know, nine years straight, like.
Doobie
Oh, I don't have any cartilage in my nose, and I did blow for probably, like a decade. It's bad.
Eric
So to answer your question, obviously, you know.
Doobie
Yeah. You guys have had a little tootskis. Little Tootskis along the way. Yeah.
Highlight
It's been like two and a half years, though.
Doobie
Are you sober now? Highlight, too.
Highlight
I mean, I smoke weed and I drink because of him.
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
I never, you know, I never was a drinker.
Eric
Drinking the Middle Light. He's drinking the liquid death. And it's still my fault, you know.
Doobie
You know, never have I ever in front of my significant other.
Eric
Never.
Highlight
I don't have one of those.
Doobie
I know, but if you ever did, would you ever poop in front of your girl?
Highlight
Door open.
Doobie
Just let her smell the. The Duke.
Highlight
Yeah, yeah. But, like, her. She can't do that. Oh, no, it's not really ladylike. It's not really ladylike to me, like.
Doobie
No, I understand. I still. I have only fluffed in front of Jay one time. What's fluff?
Highlight
Farted.
Doobie
Yes.
Highlight
Fluffed. So what do you do? Running, like, to the bathroom?
Doobie
No, my stomach hurts all the time. What do you mean? I will never go to the.
Highlight
My grandma used to say if you hold your farts, make your breast sting, though.
Doobie
No, my breast smells amazing. But I will not do that in front of Jay. Dude, I. I don't know how girls do it. Girls will in front of their men, and I just keep. Maybe do you in front of your man. Okay, well, you out, kids. Door open. Yeah, you out, kids. The door open every two seconds.
Highlight
Yeah, yeah, I'm dropping that duty.
Doobie
Never have I ever had gay thoughts.
Eric
Never.
Highlight
Never.
Doobie
I like space.
Eric
Hey, but we're. Hey, do what you do, man. We cool with everybody. I love people.
Doobie
We. Yeah, of course. We. We never shame anybody for. What is it? Yuck. What is what? What? That one girl say yuck their kinks or something like that? You do you never. Have I ever had sex with someone that doesn't speak the same language as me?
Eric
That sounds awesome. I definitely have. It was hard.
Doobie
Was it?
Eric
Yeah.
Highlight
I don't know.
Doobie
Was it hard because she just didn't understand, like, what to do. I thought sex would be, like, the.
Eric
Sex was fine. Yeah, it was the talking. Like. Like. Like just any form of communication. I didn't know what the. She was talking about. She didn't know what the fuck I was talking about, I kid you not, pulled out Google Translate in the middle of sex. No, after.
Doobie
Okay. Like, hey, good game.
Eric
Good game. I had to figure out where I stood. I didn't know what was going on.
Doobie
You're like, was it as good for me as it was for you? And they had to Google Translate it.
Highlight
You remember how you said it? Do you remember how you said it? Whatever you said.
Doobie
Well, what did you ask Google Translate after you guys got done boning?
Eric
No. Okay. We're watching tv.
Doobie
Yeah.
Eric
Right. So I'm like, obviously, I'm into it. You feel me?
Doobie
Right?
Eric
And she's saying something to me, and I'm like, I'm acting like. I know.
Doobie
Yeah.
Eric
And so she's actually the one who pulled out the Google Translate, right. And typed it in and was like, hey, we don't have this where I'm from. Blah, blah, blah. And I'm like, well, this is ridiculousness. It's funny. She was laughing.
Doobie
Shout out, Rob deer.
Eric
She was laughing. So I didn't know, like, if she was laughing at me or, you know, like, I'm just. I'm over here.
Doobie
Like, I love it.
Highlight
Something happened over there.
Doobie
No, they're laughing at him.
Highlight
Oh, for real.
Eric
I'm just being honest here. I remember, like, it was yesterday because it was, like. It was.
Doobie
You know, it was an awkward situation.
Eric
It was definitely different.
Doobie
So would you fuck a girl again that you didn't communicate with? Like, were you not able to speak with? I mean, you do it again. He's like, fuck it. I'll pull out Google Translate in the middle of banging her back out. Highlight. You never fucked anybody that didn't speak English?
Highlight
Nope. I would, though. It's probably kind. It's probably kind of cool because you really ain't got to talk.
Eric
Yeah, like.
Doobie
Like, don't let the door hit you. Where the good Lord.
Eric
Like, like, little. She knew little sign language, but not nothing like that.
Doobie
Just, like.
Eric
So she knew, like, little, you know, like, little basic words.
Highlight
Yeah.
Eric
But you couldn't have a conversation. And that was weird.
Highlight
She came to get fucked.
Doobie
She was like, listen, I am not fucking gonna sit here and watch ridiculous.
Eric
But, you know. Okay. I met her on Instagram. So here's the thing. On Instagram, you, like, it automatically translates your messages or whatever. You know what I'm saying? So, like, you don't have that problem with understanding the paragraphs where you're talking in the dm, you know what I'm saying? It's all English.
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
So did you know you knew she didn't speak English.
Eric
No, I didn't know.
Highlight
So that sucks.
Eric
Yes.
Doobie
She shows up and she's like, porque. You're like, yeah.
Highlight
What language was it?
Eric
Russian.
Highlight
Oh, you went on to Jacques.
Eric
Yeah.
Doobie
And that's not even an attractive language. They're pretty aggressive.
Eric
That was the part. It was. It was.
Doobie
They're pretty.
Eric
So I'm over here, like, yeah, you know? Yeah.
Doobie
Yeah, they're pretty aggressive Women, too. They know what they want, dude.

Doobie
All right. Never have I ever slapped someone during sex, bro.
Highlight
All the time. Spit slap.
Doobie
Definitely so you guys are into rough sex.
Highlight
Very disrespectful.
Eric
Hold on, before you get carried away. What type of rough sex? Y'all good?
Doobie
I mean, listen, I like. No, I'm a weirdo, so I. I used to like to taste my own blood. So, like, my thing was going to cemeteries and getting banged on tombstones and getting my mouth slapped until my leg.
Highlight
This is amazing.
Eric
Oh, no, I can't hear this. This is lying.
Doobie
I swear to God. Do you want me to call one of my exes right now and put him on the spot?
Highlight
Yes.
Doobie
Oh, my God. Let's see if Frankie answers his phone.
Highlight
Yeah, it didn't used to smack my face across George's tombstone.
Doobie
No, he. Hold on.
Highlight
But you. In the cemetery.
Doobie
Hold on.
Highlight
I've never fucked in a cemetery.
Doobie
Oh, my God. Are you kidding me? It's the best thing ever.
Highlight
I don't think that baby would do right. I think he'd be like, ah.
Eric
You literally killed.
Doobie
Okay, hold on.
Highlight
He killed the pussy. Hold on.
Doobie
I have not even had.
Eric
Hello?
Doobie
Hey, speakerphone.
Highlight
Hey, what's up? I'm waiting. Cemetery.
Doobie
Oh, my God, it's. Is this video.
Eric
This video.
Highlight
Please answer that.
Eric
One time in the cemetery.
Doobie
This would be. So. No, he'll trust me. He'll remember.
Eric
I mean, that's not something.
Doobie
He's probably shook that I'm even calling him.
Highlight
He's like, she's about to call me about the cemetery.
Eric
He's like, sorry, I gotta hit you back. I'm in the cemetery.
Doobie
Yeah, I just hit him. I just hit him. I need you to answer. Hold on.
Highlight
So how did you bleed?
Doobie
Look, he just. He just saw it.
Eric
I need you to answer. And what did you.
Doobie
Hold on. Hey, can you talk?
Eric
Tasted.
Doobie
I'm in the middle of a podcast right now. Or send me a voice note. That's fine. I'm in the middle of a podcast right now, and they don't believe that we used to have sex in the cemetery and I used to make you split my lip open and I would spit blood all over you. Please confirm that that happened.
Highlight
You wear upside down crosses all the time. That is some shade. Oh, let's put your lip open.
Doobie
How? I would have him slap me until my lip got busted it open.
Highlight
What is this? What is the significance of this?
Doobie
It's just.
Bunny
I like rough sex.
Highlight
That's not rough. That's like.
Eric
He just beeping. That's a dv. That's a. Hey, man. Hey. I mean, you know what I'm saying?
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
What the.
Doobie
Hold on. We'll wait for him to answer because he's listening to the thing right now. But, yeah, no.
Highlight
Did you guys have a cemetery of preference?
Doobie
There was one in Vegas that I used to go to that was off of Southeastern. We used to go to that one all the time.
Eric
Any specific graves?
Doobie
Like, no, no, no. But, you know, I believe that a bunch of karma caught up with me for doing that. So I do not recommend.
Eric
Yeah, the person shows up to your house, remember, you fucked on my grave. Right.
Doobie
Remember this is when I used to get lit all the time, too, and sober me would never do that. There's no fucking way in hell that I would do that. But. All right, moving on. Have you ever used shampoo to masturbate?
Highlight
Go ahead. Go ahead.
Doobie
He said, yes, that's true. She's nuts.
Eric
Oh, what?
Highlight
He's nuts, too?
Doobie
Hold on. Thank you so much for clarifying that, because they did not believe me. And I was trying to get you on the phone so you could be on the podcast to clarify that. But thank you, man.
Eric
It's like. Isn't it like, yeah, I will.
Doobie
I will. Here.
Eric
Isn't it, like, up? You always makes life harder for sober you.
Doobie
Yes, absolutely. I 100 believe that. Well, it's different.
Eric
You wake up the next day like.
Doobie
Hey, yeah, that wasn't me.
Eric
Yeah, that was drunk me. That was over me.
Doobie
Yeah, I don't know who that person was. So have you guys masturbated with shampoo?
Highlight
You won't go first?
Eric
Go ahead and get out of. Yes. Whoa, whoa.
Doobie
Doesn't that burn the pee hole?
Eric
I was a kid.
Doobie
Oh, you guys don't do it now.
Eric
No, this is a thing.
Highlight
Like, I've never got down like that. And this is gonna sound weird when I say it. I've never used any lube for that.
Doobie
It's just dry rub, but it's like.
Highlight
I know exactly how I like it.
Eric
So you like his wings dry rub?
Highlight
Yeah, but it's like, not my. Like, I'm not.
Doobie
I'm not too rough starting.
Eric
He said I'm not too rough.
Doobie
I don't be like, you don't like any juice on the moose? I don't.
Eric
You said I'm not too. Right.
Highlight
Yeah, I know exactly how I like it. So I don't.
Doobie
It's not like, are you. Do you use just fingers or is it a whole hand?
Highlight
It depends on what's going on.
Doobie
Or do you cup it from the top? Because I know some dudes cup it from the top, too. I don't even know what that means like this.
Highlight
That's like cemetery, bro.
Eric
She said like this.
Highlight
I don't know.
Doobie
You guys have never petting that.
Highlight
I never did that. Yeah. I ain't never did that.
Doobie
You guys have never seen some. Well, I mean, no.
Eric
We can start there now with this.
Highlight
Though, that proper form.
Doobie
No. I don't even know. Listen, it happens. I've seen it numerous times.
Highlight
Nah.
Eric
Like you put your hand in a bag of chip.
Doobie
Have you ever banged three or more people at the same time?
Eric
People or women?
Doobie
Well, because you have to understand, this is a politically correct. So have you ever banged three or more bitches at the same time?
Highlight
Been there.
Doobie
Yeah. Do you guys prefer that? That's a lot of bodily fluids.
Eric
I ain't going to lie. It was overwhelming.
Doobie
Yeah. It's a lot of holes for you.
Eric
It was overwhelming because at the end of the day, like, I'm gonna be honest with you. Two is. Is the most. That's where it's cool.
Doobie
Yeah.
Eric
After two, it's just a lot. Yeah, it's a lot going on, and you feel like you gotta do this. That it's just too much.
Doobie
Yeah.
Eric
When the whole goal is just to.
Highlight
I don't know, I approach the situation.
Doobie
Yeah.
Eric
What do you think?
Doobie
More than one at a time? Do you do one?
Highlight
I'm cool with three, four, five, all that. But, like, the thing is, like this. I like to watch for a minute.
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
Like, I roll a blunt. I'll watch three, four of them.
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
And then I choose, like. Oh, yeah. She go crazy.
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
So he's picking one out of the bus.
Eric
That's what I'm saying.
Doobie
Well, I know you. Are we allowed to talk about it? You don't like to even kiss. Right.
Highlight
That's what. That's why I love you.
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
Yeah. You know, I'm. Yeah.
Doobie
Highlight, like, highlight is very particular.
Highlight
Yeah. See, I'm happy you talked about this.
Doobie
I mean, and I think that's. Okay. Let's normalize that.
Highlight
Because I probably kissed, like, eight women my whole life.
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
And I haven't, like. And, like, I can count how many vaginas I've eaten. On both hands.
Doobie
Yeah.
Eric
On both hands.
Highlight
Yeah. Because I've been.
Doobie
That's 14.
Highlight
I'm 36, so.
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
I can count them.
Bunny
A lot of you know what's up, though.
Doobie
That's good, though, because you can't just be out here just munching everybody's rug. Dude. You never know what's going to be fucking when you pull it up. You never know what's Going to happen.
Highlight
Extra guacamole on there.
Doobie
You got a little cheese on her taco. Do you guys leave your used condoms behind? Because I know now that you guys are on tour and stuff like that. Or do you always take them with you?
Highlight
See what Drake did, I. Drake, he's a genius. Put the hot sauce in that baby and left it.
Doobie
Oh, I know. Did you hear about that? I heard. We talked about that on Shout out to Drake. Yeah. Crazy, right?
Highlight
You leave yours around back in the day, like, you should just.
Eric
No. Throw them in the trash. But I never used to let nobody. I never used to let nobody stay with me, though.
Highlight
Oh, yeah, I used to. I wrap them up in that toilet paper.
Doobie
Like, if you're a. In a hotel and you leave, do you take the condom with you? Do you throw it down?
Eric
But that's what I'm saying. I've never, like, allowed a girl to stay with me, like, unless it was, like, somebody I like.
Doobie
Okay, so you never just went and saw a girl? They always came to you? It's pretty much.
Eric
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Like, on the road, be, like, for sure. For sure.
Doobie
Yeah.
Highlight
I never.
Doobie
