Jesus describes the Spirit as a wind that blows where it wills. You can't control it- but you can learn to live open to it. This message invites us to rethink life in the Spirit not as spiritual effort but as availability. As we continue our Prepare the Way series, we'll explore what it means to notice where God's life is already increasing, allow the Spirit to interrupt us, and respond to gentle nudges that lead us into deeper freedom, love, and fruitfulness.

The fruitful life--the abundant life Jesus promises--doesn't come from trying harder or self effort, but from staying connected and abiding in Jesus.

Jesus identifies how a crowded heart robs us from His life and fruitfulness for His kingdom in the parable of the sower. In this message we learn to discover and confront the desires that limit His life in us. Jesus does not ask to be first among many loves. He asks to be Lord over all.

Are there things that we can be doing in our life that we can be doing to open ourself to the move of God? Can His life and light flow through us to a world in need?

As we begin a new year how may we prepare ourselves to partner with God in accomplishing what He wants in our lives?
