INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Monday, June 8, 2026 Topic: DON'T LOOK LIKE YOUR STORM! Memory Verse: "Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward" - Matthew 6:16 KJV Bible Text: Isaiah 53:2 NIV 2. He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. INSPIRATION: Sometimes, we let our appearance betray us before others. We let it give us away, letting everyone know if all is well or not well with us. This wasn't the case with Jesus, our perfect example. Although He had no form of comeliness. That is, there was no beauty or majesty left in him to attract anyone or be desired after he had gone to the cross. But it was for a just cause, to redeem mankind back to God. He never looked uncheerful, pitiable, discouraged or drained while here, even though He knew the nature of His death. You don't have to look like what you're going through. Do not wear your challenge like a garment. Don't become a subject of public sympathy and gossip. Be real, you need not fake anything but you can be cheerful while dealing with even a tough problem. Cheerfulness helps lighten the burden and inspires faith. Cheerfulness may attract the kindness that gloominess may not. Reckon that everyone goes through rough patches and yours might not even be the worse. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Challenges trigger either a positive or a negative response. Be positive regardless. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to know and see that my current challenges are temporary and they work for me a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory than I could ever imagine. Give me the wisdom and courage to deal with life's challenges with a sense of hopeful expression of faith, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Thursday, June 4, 2026 Topic: MAXIMISE YOUR MORNING (Part 2)! Memory Verse: "While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease" - Genesis 8:22 AMPC Bible Text: Ecclesiastes 11:6 KJV 6. In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good. INSPIRATION: You can determine a great evening by how well the morning starts. A morning that's not planned for or invested into has no evening hope or expectation. Gone are the days when people live their lives to chance. Now is the time to sit down, get a plan and work towards it. Invest or divest, if you will, but make good use of your morning. A life that's not planned for is a future that's not guaranteed. Don't live as one without a future ambition. Be wise enough to know what's a seed and a harvest. Invest now for your future. Your seedtime happens in your morning life. Your midlife is when your nurture your investments so you can have a great evening harvest. You can't wish for what you didn't plan for. You can't expect to get promotion if you didn't take courses, get higher certification or improve your skillset and output delivery. You can't wish for a great family if you didn't learn parental responsibility at your early age. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Seedtime may come with some discipline, pain and denial, but it secures a future of bliss. Be a disciplined investor in your future. PRAYER: Dear Lord, I receive grace to wisely invest my morning season so the future would be guaranteed. I refuse to be wasteful of my time and resources. I'm empowered to maximise opportunities as they come and every of such effort yields abundance for me, in Jesus name.

INSPIRATION: The wise use their nights to fashion dreams and use their morning to develop them. If you sleep away your morning, a lot will slip through and cause you pain in due season. It's not a curse or a prediction of evil but merely the principle of seedtime and harvest. It's sad to only think of seedtime and harvest scriptures when you anticipate a return for your effort but fail to realise same rules apply if you made no efforts when you should have. Unfortunately, time would not always stand still. Whether you invest the morning or not, time would roll by and night would come. Those who procrastinate investing their time wake up to a rude shock and a reality they're too ashamed to own. Don't just wish, plan and take action on your plan while it is still morning. Don't waste your morning energy that could have been put to good use working out your future. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Sit up and smell the coffee. Regrets await those who refuse to use their morning wisely. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please give me the kind of wisdom that helps me direct my morning to good profit. Help me order my steps and to set the right priorities early and henceforth so that I'd not reap the whirlwind for a harvest, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Saturday, June 6, 2026 Topic: THE BREATH THAT MAKES THE DIFFERENCE! Memory Verse: "And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and saith unto them, Receive ye the Holy Ghost" - John 20:22 KJV Bible Text: Genesis 2:7 KJV 7. And the LORD God formed man of the dust of the ground, and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life; and man became a living soul. INSPIRATION: Until God breathed into man, he didn't come alive or had the ability of expressions in any form. There seem to be a lot of persons whom daily pressure is choking life out of right now. Every effort either ends in futility or a miscarriage, thus, making them to spread too thin in their quest for relevance or impact. The air around seem all stifled and people can barely breathe. If you're one such person, why don't you pause, take a deep breath and exhale? To exhale shouldn't be left to reflex. It must be intentional. Be free from encumbrance so you can live! Breathe in God's energy so you can deliver on your mandate. Purpose is the reason for the breath. The breath infuses in you the ability to perform optimally, makes all your faculties come alive and functional. After tasking His disciples to go do the Father's bidding, He breathed upon them (John 20: 21-22). He knew they couldn't function well without it. Neither can you! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Don't play super until life chokes you. Learn to breathe! Exhale, be rejuvenated! PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to deal with life's pressure with wisdom. Teach me the value of resting and refueling. Breathe upon me, Lord, and empower me to carry out my mandate with efficiency and excellence. Release upon me every grace that comes with your breath and cause me to live in deed, in Jesus name.

INSPIRATION: Pressure reveals the stuff one is made of. Some buckle under the weight of tense pressure; others exploit it to establish their dominance. But whether you crumble or soar under pressure, one thing it does, is to make you pant for air. Except you take in that air, you're either worse off in your crumbled state or you lack the requisite momentum to soar. For the latter, the air plays a dual role: gives you enough intake of oxygen; externally, creates a conducive climate for your flight. The breath of the Holy Spirit significantly does much more than natural air. It gives life, activate potentials, enable possibilities and build stability. It unlocks access and dimensions, introduces you to platforms you could never have mounted anyway else. The breath made Adam the wonder that he was in the Garden of Eden with absolute dominion; the breath from Jesus on His disciples turn uneducated men into world changers. The breath can change you, too! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Success and greatness in God's kingdom are deeply connected to the inspiration from the breath of the Holy Spirit. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please breathe upon me afresh with the Holy Spirit. Activate in me the capacity to deploy my potentials to create unimaginable possibilities, impact and dominance. Cause life to flow through me and all that's mine and let the world be changed through this empowering grace, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Wednesday, June 3 26, 2026 Topic: MAXIMISE YOUR MORNING! INSPIRATION: My local dialect has two wise sayings that give perspective to our discourse today: "Whatever time of the day a man realises himself, that time is his morning," and the second is like the first, "A farmer's morning starts the moment he gets to his farm." Taking a cue from both, it dawns on us to take definite steps to make positive impact in our lives at the earliest time realisation dawns on us. Maximise your morning and plant the right seeds that would secure your future. The bible is clear on this: sow your seeds in the morning! Now is your morning. Take stock, reappraise yourself and invest for the future. Whether now or later, time would be spent, but the outcome would be different. So why not now? A future you never invested in guarantees no harvests! No one walks into a bank to withdraw cash that was never deposited. If you trivialise the importance of investing in your future, you'd arrive there full of regrets because nature's order is seedtime and harvest! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Maximise your morning opportunities. Secure a future by sowing right today! PRAYER: Dear Lord, please give me the wisdom to maximise time to invest for the future. Guide me to sow the right seeds early while it is yet day, and preserve every seed I sow for a greater harvest at the end. Teach me the principles of seedtime so my future would be free of regrets, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Tuesday, June 2, 2026 Topic: SELF DEFINITION (Part 3)! Memory Verse: "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you" - Exodus 3:14 KJV Bible Text: John 8:12 KJV 12. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. INSPIRATION: Inability to define who you are leaves you in a confused state where anything goes. You'd not be firm on your resolve, neither would you be able to set healthy boundaries and systems around which your life is woven. This could make you vulnerable and accessible to everyone and everything. The earlier you realise you're not here by accident, the sooner discovering your purpouse is taken more seriously. Else, abuse is inevitable. Your identity is tied to your purpose. When Peter rightly defined who Jesus is, Jesus affirmed His identity as Christ! Purpose is deeper than passion; it is the original intent of a thing. Have you figured out why you were created? We come into life or office for a purpose and the pursuit of it weaves an identity around us. Repeatedly, Jesus would say He came for a purpose. His defined purpose defined His identity. What has your purpose done for you? TODAY'S TAKE HOME: If you fail to define whom you are and set your standards and boundaries, others would and may rubbish you in the process. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please bring me into full consciousness of my real identity so I can lead a purposeful and determined life. May I not waste valuable time in pursuit of vanity at the expense of what's important. Guide me to choose and to do that which is needful at all times, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Sunday, May 31, 2026 Topic: SELF DEFINITION! INSPIRATION: In a world plagued with so much identity crisis, there can be no better time than now to speak to the issue of self definition. Where do you get your definition of yourself from? Is it traceable to your name or the role you play? Who are you really, especially, when you're not being watched? Does your identity change like the skin of a chameleon that takes on the colour of its environment? Moses faced a dilemma and asked God, "But who do I say has sent me?" God's reply was epic and unambiguous: "I AM THAT I AM: and he said, ..." God has an identity that is all encompassing. He's anything and everything all at once depending on what you need Him as. Jesus identifies himself to a group of people as the light of the world. Bible says as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Since we're like Him, we ought to have a defined identity. Do you have one? TODAY'S TAKE HOME: What defines your essence? Is it your true identity or it is derived from the valediction of others? Is yours derived from your role? PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to take my self identity seriously. Guide me to my purpose so I can weave my identity around it. I receive light that reveals who I am, and I walk in the fullness of my true identity in Christ, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Saturday, May 30, 2026 Topic: GROW UP (Part 4)! Memory Verse: "And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel" - Luke 1:80 KJV Bible Text: 2 Peter 3:18 KJV 18. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. INSPIRATION: Growth is a process, not a destination to be arrived at. It involves mastery of tiny milestones until you come into full stature. If you despise your baby steps in a quest to arrive big at the centre, you're likely to fail woefully. Learn to take your journey one step at a time, perfecting your skills and abilities in bits while maturing. If you'd feel concerned that your six years old child is yet to walk and talk, you should be double worried that you're maturing in age but not in character. Those babysteps you despise when you fall doesn't signal a failure but a training process. Embrace them whilst fixing your gaze on the prize. Excellence is a product of repeated efforts. Fall, if you will, but don't stay down. Be like that child learning to walk or run. He falls multiple times but gets up right same minute and try again. No one may applaud you like they do the kids but allow your determination be your first and greatest motivation. Pay deaf ears to detractors and distractions. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Genuine growth is an intentional process, and not a marathon. Until you pass the test on a stage, you can't go to the next. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to take decisive, deliberate steps towards my growth and development. Help me to rise each time I falter and fall, and to keep moving. Guide my ways as You order my steps. May I not get ahead of myself or be distracted from my growth processes, in Jesus name.
