INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Wednesday, June 3 26, 2026 Topic: MAXIMISE YOUR MORNING! Memory Verse: "While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease" - Genesis 8:22 AMPC Bible Text: Ecclesiastes 11:6 KJV 6. In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good. INSPIRATION: My local dialect has two wise sayings that give perspective to our discourse today: "Whatever time of the day a man realises himself, that time is his morning," and the second is like the first, "A farmer's morning starts the moment he gets to his farm." Taking a cue from both, it dawns on us to take definite steps to make positive impact in our lives at the earliest time realisation dawns on us. Maximise your morning and plant the right seeds that would secure your future. The bible is clear on this: sow your seeds in the morning! Now is your morning. Take stock, reappraise yourself and invest for the future. Whether now or later, time would be spent, but the outcome would be different. So why not now? A future you never invested in guarantees no harvests! No one walks into a bank to withdraw cash that was never deposited. If you trivialise the importance of investing in your future, you'd arrive there full of regrets because nature's order is seedtime and harvest! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Maximise your morning opportunities. Secure a future by sowing right today! PRAYER: Dear Lord, please give me the wisdom to maximise time to invest for the future. Guide me to sow the right seeds early while it is yet day, and preserve every seed I sow for a greater harvest at the end. Teach me the principles of seedtime so my future would be free of regrets, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Tuesday, June 2, 2026 Topic: SELF DEFINITION (Part 3)! Memory Verse: "And God said unto Moses, I AM THAT I AM: and he said, Thus shalt thou say unto the children of Israel, I AM hath sent me unto you" - Exodus 3:14 KJV Bible Text: John 8:12 KJV 12. Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. INSPIRATION: Inability to define who you are leaves you in a confused state where anything goes. You'd not be firm on your resolve, neither would you be able to set healthy boundaries and systems around which your life is woven. This could make you vulnerable and accessible to everyone and everything. The earlier you realise you're not here by accident, the sooner discovering your purpouse is taken more seriously. Else, abuse is inevitable. Your identity is tied to your purpose. When Peter rightly defined who Jesus is, Jesus affirmed His identity as Christ! Purpose is deeper than passion; it is the original intent of a thing. Have you figured out why you were created? We come into life or office for a purpose and the pursuit of it weaves an identity around us. Repeatedly, Jesus would say He came for a purpose. His defined purpose defined His identity. What has your purpose done for you? TODAY'S TAKE HOME: If you fail to define whom you are and set your standards and boundaries, others would and may rubbish you in the process. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please bring me into full consciousness of my real identity so I can lead a purposeful and determined life. May I not waste valuable time in pursuit of vanity at the expense of what's important. Guide me to choose and to do that which is needful at all times, in Jesus name.

INSPIRATION: In a world plagued with so much identity crisis, there can be no better time than now to speak to the issue of self definition. Where do you get your definition of yourself from? Is it traceable to your name or the role you play? Who are you really, especially, when you're not being watched? Does your identity change like the skin of a chameleon that takes on the colour of its environment? Moses faced a dilemma and asked God, "But who do I say has sent me?" God's reply was epic and unambiguous: "I AM THAT I AM: and he said, ..." God has an identity that is all encompassing. He's anything and everything all at once depending on what you need Him as. Jesus identifies himself to a group of people as the light of the world. Bible says as He is, so are we in this world (1 John 4:17). Since we're like Him, we ought to have a defined identity. Do you have one? TODAY'S TAKE HOME: What defines your essence? Is it your true identity or it is derived from the valediction of others? Is yours derived from your role? PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to take my self identity seriously. Guide me to my purpose so I can weave my identity around it. I receive light that reveals who I am, and I walk in the fullness of my true identity in Christ, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Saturday, May 30, 2026 Topic: GROW UP (Part 4)! Memory Verse: "And the child grew, and waxed strong in spirit, and was in the deserts till the day of his shewing unto Israel" - Luke 1:80 KJV Bible Text: 2 Peter 3:18 KJV 18. But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen. INSPIRATION: Growth is a process, not a destination to be arrived at. It involves mastery of tiny milestones until you come into full stature. If you despise your baby steps in a quest to arrive big at the centre, you're likely to fail woefully. Learn to take your journey one step at a time, perfecting your skills and abilities in bits while maturing. If you'd feel concerned that your six years old child is yet to walk and talk, you should be double worried that you're maturing in age but not in character. Those babysteps you despise when you fall doesn't signal a failure but a training process. Embrace them whilst fixing your gaze on the prize. Excellence is a product of repeated efforts. Fall, if you will, but don't stay down. Be like that child learning to walk or run. He falls multiple times but gets up right same minute and try again. No one may applaud you like they do the kids but allow your determination be your first and greatest motivation. Pay deaf ears to detractors and distractions. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Genuine growth is an intentional process, and not a marathon. Until you pass the test on a stage, you can't go to the next. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to take decisive, deliberate steps towards my growth and development. Help me to rise each time I falter and fall, and to keep moving. Guide my ways as You order my steps. May I not get ahead of myself or be distracted from my growth processes, in Jesus name.

Amen. INSPIRATION: Agricultural science made it possible to join a plant stem to another so the grafted stem gets its nourishment from the one it is grafted to. Interestingly, they may be of different species and this would eventually lead to one tree bearing different kinds of fruits. In the same vein, that you may have been rudely separated from your original stock doesn't mean you can't grow and be productive. You can and should be the stem engrafted as a branch to another tree trunk. Draw strength and nourishment all you will from the root but retain your unique property. Aim for the top and reach for the stars in your growth pursuit. Set very high targets in the various aspects of your life where growth is required and dedicate yourself to them. Refuse to be at ease (Amos 6:1); complacency pays you no good. No matter how successful or good you are, there's still plenty of room to grow and achieve more. Get another or a higher degree, get more certifications that could enhance your chances; skill up! Update your mind to remain competitively relevant. The process of growth is demanding but it comes with higher results. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Genuine growth would stretch your bones painfully so you can birth your baby in joy! PRAYER: Dear Lord, please show me Your mercy and make me to grow up into the fullness of my stature in Christ, having been engrafted into God's family through the blood of Jesus Christ. I access every grace I need and I'm nourished thereby, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Thursday, May 28, 2026 Topic: GROW UP (Part 2)! Amen. INSPIRATION: Growing up is intentional and tasking. It stretches one to the limits, and each stretch may exert pains on you. Growth assumes the pain a woman undergoes to push forth a baby. In the immediate, it is excruciating but heralds joy after the birth is successful. Birth pains doesn't make an expectant mother abandon the rigors of pushing, nor does it make her decide not to be pregnant again. If the pain of growth stops or limits you, something is fundamentally wrong with the process and the end result. Growth requires discipline. You can't want to grow financially and not be disciplined and accountable with spending or learning how to be financially literate. You shouldn't desire to be a people-person who desires to win with people and not learn emotional intelligence. You can't use obsolete ideas to solve problems in today's digital world if you fail to grow digitally. Many are losing relevance and opportunities today because they remained stuck in their old, expired mindset. Don't further this sad statistics! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Genuine growth would stretch your bones painfully so you can birth your baby in joy! PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to be disciplined while growing, clothe me with humility in learning and the strength to bear every pain associated with my growth processes. My goal is to birth and nurture greatness to an amazingly enviable height, in Jesus name.

Amen. INSPIRATION: A characteristics of living things is growth but growth doesn't come automatically. It is a product of what you eat. If you feed right, you'll grow healthier and bigger. Conversely, you'll grow sickly and tinier if you feed wrongly. Peter, in closing, counsels us to grow! You can't be at same level of thinking and producing as you were last year but expect to get different results; you can't be adverse to learning and expect to advance; you can't feed on junk and expect not to be a junkyard! Peter describes areas you should grow in: grace is not static but progressive. As you yield more to doing God's will and learning His ways, you grow in grace. If you refuse to grow in knowledge, you'll remain bound in chains (Prov. 11: 9b). Ignorance will shackle you. True knowledge liberates only when you're willing to grow pursing it. Only those who grow wax strong (Luke 1: 80); and until you become strong, you cannot do exploits (Dan. 11:32b). Being strong is a function of what you know! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Anyone who finds learning and growing difficult, stays stagnant and depreciates in value and output. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please give the will and grace to be intentional about growth. Release strength and determination upon me to be consistent, resolute and resilient while pursing knowledge that guarantees my growth. I feed my mind and spirit with the right nourishment for a balanced and healthy life, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Sunday, May 26, 2026 Topic: GRACE FOR SPEED (Part 3)! Memory Verse: "And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah; and he girded up his loins, and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel" - 1 Kings 18:46 KJV Bible Text: Acts 8:29-30 NIV 29. The Spirit told Philip, “Go to that chariot and stay near it.” 30. Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. INSPIRATION: "And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah;... and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel" Despising the hand of God upon your life or someone else's is to your own peril. That's literally making light the effect of God's anointing upon His anointed. You're simply limiting divine possibilities around you. A Psalmist said, "...therefore God, your God, has set you above your companions by anointing you with the oil of joy" (Ps. 45:7). The hand of God sets you above or ahead! The hand of God upon your life isn't only a sign of His approval, but also His backing and empowering grace. You can't run on God's grace and run out of gas; you can't run on His grace and not get ahead. Grace isn't just an equal opportunity leveler, it infuses into you what separates you from the crowd, it pulls you from the back and positions you where advantages can be easily accessed. Grace, can with an inexplicable speed, shoot you into limelight! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Speed in the direction of purpose is great, and that's why you need His grace to so do. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please cause Your hand to be upon me, that I may receive grace for speed; anoint me afresh with the grace of precision so that regardless my momentum, I would not miss my target. Lead me as I follow, Lord, in Jesus name.

Then Philip ran up to the chariot and heard the man reading Isaiah the prophet. “Do you understand what you are reading?” Philip asked. INSPIRATION: "And the hand of the LORD was on Elijah;... and ran before Ahab to the entrance of Jezreel" There's a measure of acceleration that can only be powered by the 'Hand of the LORD.' In other words, grace-enabled living puts you ahead. Grace doesn't take the place of labour; it only just makes you stand out. Grace is a buffer or cushion against the harsh realities of everyday living. Grace inspires ideas that expand your creativity. Grace markets you with a touch of preferential favour. Grace defies all logic. God's anointing can move you with an irresistible speed, propel your flight by a force within that gives you the advantage over others. The force came upon Elijah, the result was a displacement of the fastest technology of that era. Grace made Jesus walk on water to catch up with his disciples who had been sailing on a ship before they arrived their destination (Matt. 14: 22-33). Also, by the Holy Spirit, Philip ran up to a chariot (Acts 8: 29-30), same way the hand of the LORD was upon Elijah! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: If you feel you're lagging behind schedules, engage the 'hand of the LORD.' Yield to the Holy Spirit's dynamics! PRAYER: Dear Lord, please cause Your hand to be upon me, that I may receive grace for speed; anoint me afresh with the grace of precision so that regardless my momentum, I would not miss my target. Lead me as I follow, Lord, in Jesus name.
