INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Monday, June 29, 2026 Topic: WHEN YOUR SOURCE DRIES UP! Memory Verse: "The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the Lord shall not want any good thing" - Psalm 34:10 KJVA Bible Text: 1 Kings 17:7 KJV 7. And it came to pass after a while, that the brook dried up, because there had been no rain in the land. INSPIRATION: What does it feel like to have a promise, a blessing or an opening shut in your face? How do you deal with disappointments that put you on the spotlight or make people question who you are or your relationship with God. Behold, the almighty Elijah, having to face a reality of lack and even the source God promised to use also dried up before his every eyes. How was he to face the nation and defend his relationship with God if he too suffered lack? His, was such an ordeal that resonates with our everyday reality. But not to despair, God took care of Elijah! Before the brook dried up, he already made provision in a widow! God has never left His own stranded (Psalm 37: 25)! Before you took ill, He's provided for your healing; before the house goes out of stock, He already made provision; before that anxiety wears you out, He's already made a way of escape. Sometimes, the problem is not an absence of God's provision but our insensitivity in discerning what's been provided for, or the disdain for the medium He chooses to use to meet our needs. He can still use a raven, a brook or a widow, all to His glory. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: The sequence of God's provision never ends; one unfolds into another. As one brook is running dry, another chapter will open up divinely. Hallelujah! PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank you for never allowing me lack; You always make a way in the most unlikely manner. Your love and thoughtfulness overwhelms me; the way You pamper and take care of me feels so endearing. Thank You for being so detailed and very intentional in ensuring all I need is supplied, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Sunday, June 28, 2026 Topic: A WARRIOR'S INSTINCT (Part 3)! Memory Verse: "Blessed be the LORD my strength, Which teacheth my hands to war, and my fingers to fight" - Psalm 144:1 KJV Bible Text: 1 Samuel 26:8 KJV 8. Then said Abishai to David, God hath delivered thine enemy into thine hand this day: now therefore let me smite him, I pray thee, with the spear even to the earth at once, and I will not smite him the second time. INSPIRATION: A warrior will deploy every intelligence gathering tool available to him meticulously, in search of the weakness of his enemy so he can exploit it favourably. In warfare, all is fair, provided the victory is won. Thus, the exploitation of the enemy's weakness is a valid strategy. David saw that metal protection covered every part of Goliath's body except his forehead, and aimed at that spot! Don't forget scriptures describes some warriors as, "Among all these were 700 chosen left-handed men; every one could sling stones at a hair and not miss" (Judges 20:16). David was of the category of warriors who never misses. Another critical instinct of a warrior, is that he doesn't get involved in 'civilian affairs.' Paul puts it this way, "No man that warreth entangleth himself with the affairs of this life; that he may please him who hath chosen him to be a soldier" (2 Tim. 2:4). You've been enlisted into God's army and the army for the survival of your destiny and all those who are connected to your purpose. You better stay off distractions and anything that could entangle and put you in a blind spot or on the line of fire. Learn from Samson; avoid becoming a cheap casualty; keep off from destructive entanglements. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Keep your focus and agility. Fix your gaze on the prize, which is, to take out the enemy. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to possess the instincts of a true warrior, give me the wisdom and discernment to take exploitative advantage of the enemy's weaknesses. Help me to avoid distractions and entanglement of all kinds while in the discharge of my duties to Your own glory, in Jesus name, Amen.

INSPIRATION: A warrior is not trained to run from his battles but to run towards the battlefront. He is trained to fight, and the more fights he wins, the more he increases in rank. Rather than scare him, battles are catalysts that activate his abilities. Be very sensitive to your battles, especially, to what they seek to trigger or quench in you. A warrior posseses the swift agility of a leopard; they respond to their environment and tame it for their own dominance! A warrior is not so much focused on the spoils of battle as he is on the territorial control mechanism. He's only interested in subduing more territories and establishing control over them. How effectively have you taken charge of your territory? What is the voice of authority over the places under your immediate influence? Who or what governs in your space? Jesus says, "Behold, I give you authority and power (Luke 10: 19 AMPC), thus establishing that authority is different from power. Do you have authority or power? Or do you have both? TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Failure in battle is a mindset that is alien to truly trained warriors. Are you one? PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to possess the instincts of a true warrior, give me the wisdom and discernment to fight the real battles of my destiny. Please take away distractions from me and establish my dominance in territories You've placed under my control. I refuse to lose control to the forces of opposition, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Friday, June 26, 2026 Topic: ART OF PRECISION - A WARRIOR'S INSTINCT! INSPIRATION: In the old testament days, wars were either won or lost, not so much from strategy but on precision strikes. The ability to hit at target and cause colossal damage was prized more than anything. Hence, warriors practiced more on hitting targets with their first effort. Well, they knew the danger of firing amiss because their opponents might seize the moment to inflict real damage. Hence, we see David's man, Abishai, seeking David's permission to kill King Saul, on the premise that he'd only strike once. That's a warrior's instinct! David thanks God for teaching his hands to war and his fingers to fight (Ps. 144: 1). As a warrior, he valued how skillful his hands have become with his weapons and how he has so mastered hitting at his target. It reminds me of the description of some warriors in Judges 20: 16, "Among all these soldiers there were seven hundred select troops who were left-handed, each of whom could sling a stone at a hair and not miss." Daily life presents us with so many battles and battlefronts at once. The ability to deal with each of the things that confront us is an art that defines our rear instincts as warriors. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Master the art of slinging your stones and throwing your arrows without missing now. It would be futile to wait to practice it at the battlefront! PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for teaching my hands to war and my fingers to fight. Thank You for helping me steady my aim at life's targets and enabling me to make precision strikes. I receive grace to never shoot amiss or be weak when life's battles rage against me. I've a warrior's will and I fight to win, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Thursday, June 25, 2026 Topic: BLESSINGS OF DIVINE LEADING (Part 2)! Memory Verse: "Your own ears will hear him. Right behind you a voice will say, “This is the way you should go,” whether to the right or to the left" - Isaiah 30:21 NLT Bible Text: Psalms 23:2 TPT 2. He offers a resting place for me in his luxurious love. His tracks take me to an oasis of peace near the quiet brook of bliss. INSPIRATION: One very striking blessing that comes with divine leading is that you can never be misdirected. If you're getting misled, it's either the directive is not divine, you drifted from the instructions, or you didn't hear correctly due to distraction or information insufficiency. God's leading is peaceable, encouraging, comforting, and soul-lifting. It will take you places where you can find pasture (John 10: 9; Psalm 23: 2). Unfortunately, many people are malnourished today because of an imbalance in their in-take of instruction. To submit yourself to be led indicates the existence of a relationship. It is a true test of character to be a disciplined follower, where you're chiseled and beat into shape for His glory. Whilst God leaves us with the prerogatives to choose, He will always prompt us to make the right decisions. If you've difficulty in hearing, you might miss the rich guidance of His gentle still voice. He doesn't just lead you to nourishing fields, He ensures you're preserved from harm in the course of your journey to your resting place called the quiet brook of bliss. Hallelujah! Glory be to God forever!! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: God's leading is never forced on anyone, but its benefits are unquantifiable in nature. PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for leading me away from trouble to a place of peace and bliss. The empowering grace that comes through Your leading opens me up to safety and blessings, revealing the secrets that matter to success in all ramifications of my life, in Jesus name.

INSPIRATION: A songwriter sang, "Count your blessings, name them one by one, and it would surprise you what the Lord has done." One very significant blessing we so often overlook, is the blessing of divine leading, that we sometimes consider or attribute to us being too self-aware, too calculating, too smart, or our ability to pay attention to details. In all such instances, we fail to realise that others with similar attributes, got into big troubles where we escaped. The voice of God's leading helps us navigate choices in closing favourable deals. Isaiah points us straight to God's leading, regardless of where we turn. This leading offers us a resting place in his luxurious love, the Psalmist says, because His tracks will always take us to oasis of peace near the quiet brook of bliss. In other words, God leads us where the pasture is green so we can be nourished to flourish. We must understand the rigors of searching for green grass in the desert. His leading takes us beside still waters; places where the opening is a breakthrough indeed! Still waters refers also to blessings that are not fleeting or too fast. It aligns and is tailored to my pace and ability to grasp; it is not competitive where I could be outsmarted or subverted. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: God's leading guarantees salvation in all its ramifications. Its blessedness brings us ease. PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for leading me into blesses tailored for me; for ordering my steps and guaranteeing I'm sorted out and well taken care of. Thank You for the peace that obedience to Your leading brings. As I follow, may I always find green pastures and a resting place beside blessings that are still, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Tuesday, June 23, 2026 Topic: LOOK BEYOND YOUR CURRENT STATUS (Part 3)! Memory Verse: "We have the same Spirit of faith that is described in the Scriptures when it says, “First I believed, then I spoke in faith.” So we also first believe then speak in faith" - 2 Corinthians 4:13 TPT Bible Text: Hebrews 11:10 TPT 10. His eyes of faith were set on the city with unshakable foundations, whose architect and builder is God himself. INSPIRATION: There's something about paradigm shift that changes our outcome. It challenges us to better ways of thinking and acting that helps us to do better for ourselves by all standards. The moment the prodigal son had a shift in perspective, a new found freedom and authority was born in him. Then he arose! You cannot desire or focus on a 'city' that lies ahead and not rise for the journey. The prodigal son arose and walked in the direction of his new reality, and changed his outcome! It doesn't matter how badly your worldview has been reshaped out of alignment by the agents of socialisation, you must realise you now have the mind of Christ (1 Cor. 2:16), which is superior in understanding, knowledge, and coordination. The mind of Christ stirs up the champion mentality in you. It enables your abilities and propels you towards your destiny. The mind of Christ aligns you with God's original purposes for your life; it sets you not just on a discovery journey but on a recovery mandate for your city with unshakable foundations, whose architect and builder is God himself. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: God has built a city or territory and placed you in it as His steward. What might your plans be on how to be a faithful steward of God’s estate? PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to have the true perspective of myself; may I align in thoughts and action to everything You created and destined me to become. My desire is to find, dwell and dominate every territory You've assigned to me. Help me to never fail in my stewardship of same, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Monday, June 22, 2026 Topic: LOOK BEYOND YOUR CURRENT STATUS (Part 2)! INSPIRATION: I can recall two very distinct ocassions where life became so hard and overwhelming for Abraham and God showed up with the lessons he needed to pick. In Genesis 13: 8-17, Lot chooses the well watered plain of Jordan, leaving Abraham. But God tells Abraham to lift up his eyes and look because he'd give him as far as he could see. Secondly, when he complained to God about his childless situation, God takes him outside and asked him to count the stars in the sky because his children would be equally as many as the stars (Genesis 15: 1-5). Twice, Abraham was challenged to look up! In other words, until you look beyond the immediate, you cannot see what's ahead. A wise man once said, "What lies behind and ahead you are not as great as what's inside you." You need to pull graces for greatness from within you; you need to see the future God's planned and destined you for. You may have fallen several times, you need not stay down. Dust yourself up, take the next turn and keep moving. There's a 'city' of greatness you need to see and access. Move up! TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Staying down is a choice, moving forward is another. Both are motivated by what one sees. What do you see? PRAYER: Dear Lord, thank You for making me see beyond the facade or pain, limitations and stagnation. I receive grace to be up and about in the direction of my destiny. I see 'cities' and possibilities; I see the future that I'm destined to explore with dominion. I walk by faith into the places that hold a better and fulfilling future for me, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Monday, June 8, 2026 Topic: DON'T LOOK LIKE YOUR STORM! Memory Verse: "Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward" - Matthew 6:16 KJV Bible Text: Isaiah 53:2 NIV 2. He grew up before him like a tender shoot, and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him. INSPIRATION: Sometimes, we let our appearance betray us before others. We let it give us away, letting everyone know if all is well or not well with us. This wasn't the case with Jesus, our perfect example. Although He had no form of comeliness. That is, there was no beauty or majesty left in him to attract anyone or be desired after he had gone to the cross. But it was for a just cause, to redeem mankind back to God. He never looked uncheerful, pitiable, discouraged or drained while here, even though He knew the nature of His death. You don't have to look like what you're going through. Do not wear your challenge like a garment. Don't become a subject of public sympathy and gossip. Be real, you need not fake anything but you can be cheerful while dealing with even a tough problem. Cheerfulness helps lighten the burden and inspires faith. Cheerfulness may attract the kindness that gloominess may not. Reckon that everyone goes through rough patches and yours might not even be the worse. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Challenges trigger either a positive or a negative response. Be positive regardless. PRAYER: Dear Lord, please help me to know and see that my current challenges are temporary and they work for me a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory than I could ever imagine. Give me the wisdom and courage to deal with life's challenges with a sense of hopeful expression of faith, in Jesus name.

INSPIRE Devotionals With Emmanuel Afiawari Thursday, June 4, 2026 Topic: MAXIMISE YOUR MORNING (Part 2)! Memory Verse: "While the earth remains, seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, and day and night shall not cease" - Genesis 8:22 AMPC Bible Text: Ecclesiastes 11:6 KJV 6. In the morning sow thy seed, and in the evening withhold not thine hand: for thou knowest not whether shall prosper, either this or that, or whether they both shall be alike good. INSPIRATION: You can determine a great evening by how well the morning starts. A morning that's not planned for or invested into has no evening hope or expectation. Gone are the days when people live their lives to chance. Now is the time to sit down, get a plan and work towards it. Invest or divest, if you will, but make good use of your morning. A life that's not planned for is a future that's not guaranteed. Don't live as one without a future ambition. Be wise enough to know what's a seed and a harvest. Invest now for your future. Your seedtime happens in your morning life. Your midlife is when your nurture your investments so you can have a great evening harvest. You can't wish for what you didn't plan for. You can't expect to get promotion if you didn't take courses, get higher certification or improve your skillset and output delivery. You can't wish for a great family if you didn't learn parental responsibility at your early age. TODAY'S TAKE HOME: Seedtime may come with some discipline, pain and denial, but it secures a future of bliss. Be a disciplined investor in your future. PRAYER: Dear Lord, I receive grace to wisely invest my morning season so the future would be guaranteed. I refuse to be wasteful of my time and resources. I'm empowered to maximise opportunities as they come and every of such effort yields abundance for me, in Jesus name.
