Jack Austin
Hello. Thank you so much for having me.
Robert Lamb
We're here for another recap episode because season five just ended. What?
Hope Ennis
Stop staring so hard.
Robert Lamb
I'm. I'm. You're across the table.
Hope Ennis
I know.
Robert Lamb
Jack is next to me. Yeah, so this is the season five recap episode. We just wrapped that up. Super long season that came out a long time ago, but it's finally done and we're here to talk about it. But before we do, we're going to do like we did last time and basically go through the whole season. I think Jack read it last time. Unless it's another podcast, look right at me.
Jack Austin
Right as it happened.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, I can't remember. I will say that I typed this up very quickly. So there might be spelling errors, there might be any kind of grammatical errors.
Hope Ennis
Please point them out.
Robert Lamb
That's fine.
Jack Austin
Any run on sentences will be at least five sentences.
Robert Lamb
There's going to be a lot of those. And yeah, it's four pages long and basically it's just going to recap all of season five and then we'll get into the fun stuff of just chatting about it. But we want to fill everybody in so that way if you are about to listen to season six because maybe season six is coming out and you want to get a recap, here it is right now for your listening ears. Jack Austin Season 5 sit back and listen.
Jack Austin
End of all hopes Season 5 recap spoilers of course so Season 4 left on a pretty big cliffhanger where Ava walks into the home where Scott and her mother should be, but it cuts off with her calling out is anyone here? Well, is there? Season five picks up right where season four left off. Ava explores the house with Bree but finds no one. Scott, Ava's mother and Christina are not in the house. They do find Christina's nurse purse, nurses purse and a dog bowl, but that's pretty much it. Ava does have a minor breakdown as she blames Brie for not keeping up during their escape through the through the battlefield. But she also blames herself for for rushing Mark has all her hope faded? Oh boy. Robert oh boy. After a good cry, she joins Brie in searching the house more. Eventually they find a painted note on the back on the back of the front door that reads In Bodega Bay. Is that where Scott is? Was Bodega Bay A QC QZ AVA's hope is slightly restored. Meanwhile, back in Denver, Mia has a meeting with Roger and Dana after they discover alien vegetation slowly growing towards their camp. Not only that, but the alien creatures have been busy in the center of the city erecting some kind of large tower. But Roger has a plan. There is word of a safer area further north in Wyoming, a military base run by rangers. Rather, Roger wants Mia to accompany him as they scout it out to make sure it's safe. Mia reluctantly decides to go, but sees that Chris is upset, but it's not what Mia thinks. Chris wants to know why Mia wants to leave the zone so badly. Chris likes the life they have now. Eventually we follow Jay Ambridge and Kylie as they make their way towards Christina's house. One night while sleeping in a semi they hear loud footsteps and see trees moving in the distance, some large creatures making its way through the woods. Luckily they don't have to deal with it as it eventually moves away. Later, when Jay and company find finally make it to Christina's home, they too find it empty. But there's a reveal that makes their visit important. They actually arrived before Ava and Bri. Jay Amridge and Kylie take some time to look around and then call it a night. The next morning, Kylie and Jay have a talk about what's next and whether to keep keep holding out hope for Jay's family. The plan is now focused on Bodega Bay, since that's where his family is supposed to be. Jay gets the idea to do like Mia did and leave a note for Ava and Mark, or possibly even Scott. He writes on the back of the door in Bodega Bay. That way no one can miss it. Excuse me, sorry. So now both Ava and Jay are heading toward bodies Bodega Bay. Although Jay has the jump on Ava. Back in Denver, Mia and Chris continue to talk about their future plans. Chris wants Mia to help with the zone more, knowing that the people like her, even people like her, even Roger. There's a meeting within the group talking about the military base and how they plan to travel up. There's a lot of questions of logistics and whether people will want to leave the comfort of the zone. Finally, it's decided. Mia, Chris, Roger, Travis, Dana and Annie will head up to scout out the base. Mia also convinces Chris to leave afterwards so they can go find a place of their own. Page one now page two. Page two. As Ava and Jay head north separately of course, they have to traverse across wide swaths of alien vegetation while avoiding shriekers and thrashers. They also don't head up the same way. Jay and company end up heading through a zoo. They don't realize they've made it to a zoo until they see a hungry rhinoceros that ignores them in search for food. When they discover the zoo is actually the San Diego Safari park, they decide to cut through. It's not until they discover half eaten elephants that they hurry out and find safety in a van for the night. The next morning, Kylie and Jay have a talk about what will happen when they reach Bodega Bay on their own path. Ava and Brie travel quickly, only resting when necessary, but they get a lot of time to talk. Ava apologizes Debri and opens up about Mark. They bond some more with Bree standing by the fact that she's glad she joined Ava and Mark. At least Ava and Brie are together. One night, though they find there are more dangerous, more dangers lurking outside when a giant creature appears hunting thrashers. Luckily, after the monster kills and eats a thrasher, it stomps off, allowing Ava and Bree to avoid danger. Mia and company aren't so lucky. After they make it all the way up to the highway, Mia and Chris stay back with the vehicles while Roger, Travis, Dana, Annie and Annie go to explore the military base. The four of them are ambushed and Mia and Chris head to rescue them but are shot at but are shot at themselves. The Group gets pinned down and it seems all hope is lost. Until it's revealed that there's been a huge mistake. While hiking through the San Bernardino National Forest, Jay, Ambridge and Kylie find themselves running low on food, water and supplies. While Ambridge makes a fire, Kylie and Jay go off to hunt. They get to have some more time together. But Jay questions why Kylie likes hanging out with him so much. Jay thought he annoyed her, but she corrects him and assures him that she likes his company. And while they were hoping to get deer for dinner, they are only able to secure rabbit. Son of a.
Robert Lamb
That's it.
Jack Austin
Days pass and they're still traveling through the forest. They're hungry again. Kylie gets blisters because her worn out shoes and they're now lost. They decide to call it a night early so they can go hunting again. But this time Jay goes alone. He's only able to secure a rabbit again. But when he turn returns to the camp, he finds Kylie and Ambridge have been taken hostage by a couple of bandits. Both Ava and Jay have been having nightmares. Ava keeps dreaming of Mark's last moments while Jay has been dreaming about Harris and about not helping Kylie and Ambridge. But now he has his chance. After he sees Kylie get shot, he attacks with an arrow, killing one of the two bandits. Ambridge gets loose and dispatches of the other one. It turns out Kylie didn't get shot, but the gunshot was right by her ear and now she can't hear out of it. Oh no. While Ava and Bri travel, Ava and Bree's travel has been mostly uneventful. They do have a runin with an old man who warns them of things to come. Evil men driving around in trucks and jeeps tormenting people. And that reminds Jack of the guy from South Park. Don't want to go down that route.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, yeah.
Jack Austin
A lot of history.
Robert Lamb
Cemetery.
Jack Austin
Yeah, sorry. Bad news is everywhere as Roger does not look good. The shootout at the military base was a mistake by both parties. The inhabitants of the base and Mia's group shooting at each other, mistaking each other for bandits. The shootout saw Roger and Dana hit. Dana was able to escape with only a wounded army. But Roger wasn't so lucky. Mia talks with him one on one to find that Roger won't last much longer. He asks Mia to take care of his daughter Jess and tells Mia he thought she would make the best leader. Roger eventually succumbs to his wounds and dies in the base like a loser.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
The rest of the survivors meet with occupants of the base and apologies are made. Travis says Roger wanted him to make the final call, but about page three, the move north. But he still talks with everyone else who's present. They decide to head back to the zone to discuss further. Back at the zone, Mia tells Jess of Roger's fate. They have a funeral for him. Dana says some words about the formation of the rangers and Mia wraps things up succinctly. Then she then goes off on her own to think about things. Jess shows up and her and Mia have a heart health, heartfelt talk about the future now that Mia would be caring for her. Jay, Ambridge and Kylie eventually find their way out to the woods. Out of the woods and take refuge in an abandoned home. There, Jay shares his dreams with Ambridge, but tells him he hasn't had a nightmare since the attack of the bandits in the woods. After that, Kylie, Amridge and Jay share some bonding time, cutting each other's hair and playing board games. The next morning, Jay shaves his face and finds Kylie some new shoes. Then they head out. Meanwhile, Ava and Brie are having a tough time with the heat. They test out different cars along the highway, hoping to find some transportation, but find nothing. One night while resting, they hear some gunshots in the distance, but they never see the source. Days pass slowly as they walk through intense heat. They're running low on water, so they decide to raid a house. But as they do, a young man gets the drop on Ava, holding a gun to her. Luckily, Brie sneaks up on him and shoots him in the arm. The young man apologizes and admits he wasn't going to do anything. Ava and Bree slowly kill him, pulling out ribs from his butt.
Robert Lamb
Just kidding.
Jack Austin
Ava and Brie have a talk about trust and eventually help the man named Connor. Connor wants to join Ava and Brie, offering the information of a place where they can restock a safe haven called Lake Isabella. Back in Denver, Mia joins all the other guards and supply runners for a meeting where they decide what to do. It's eventually decided the move is on, but only for those who want to go. After the meeting, Dana approaches Mia and tells her she should lead, but she doesn't want the responsibility. After killing some thrashers, Jay, Ambridge and Kylie make it out of more woods and set up camp in a field. Everything seems fine until Ambridge hears something. Footsteps. It doesn't take long till Jay and Kylie hear them too. The same type of giant creature that Ava and Bree saw attack. Resaw attacks. Oh, attacks them. Sorry gang, haven't read this before. This is my first, the thing known as a behemoth almost gets Ambrid, but he's too handsome Y and saved by at the last moment by rocket fire, a convoy of survivors help to injure and scare the creature away. One of the men named Ryan, also played by a man named Ryan Awful awful offers assistance to Jay and company and tell them the area no, no. What? Tell them to tell oh my God. Tell them of the area know as Lake Isabella spy should have been known.
Robert Lamb
Known as yeah, okay.
Jack Austin
That's where his convoy is heading. After they leave, Jay gets upset, realizing Ambridge was almost killed. He starts to question their track, but Amber and Kylie assure him that they're in for the long haul. Ambridge then gets an idea, a new idea for travel a boat. In Denver, people start to get ready to for the move. Oh my goodness. In Denver, people start to get ready for the move. Mia and Travis argue a bit about Travis's way of doing things, but she keeps what Roger said to herself. In California, Connor ends up joining Ava and Brie as they head north. At one point they see some evil men attacking a woman but aren't able to intervene. Brie gets mad at Connor who she thinks chickened out, but Ava claims calms her by telling her they would have probably died or been captured. Page four been captured themselves. But before Brie can apologize to Connor, men hidden among broken vehicles and bushes pop out. They turn out to be the guards for Lake Isabella. They made it. Jay, Ambridge and Kylie eventually secure a sailboat, even knowing nothing about sailing. Nevertheless, they take one and head north, sailing as best they can before Mia and the convoy leave. Grant, an occupant of the military base and fellow ranger, calls to tell them that bandits have been consistently attacking the base. They don't know how much longer they can hold out. Gail, Travis and the rest decide they can't send anyone up, but decide to leave expecting travel to to take about a week. In Lake Isabella, Ava, Connor and Bri get acquainted with things sleeping under a large pavilion. The place is crowded and for the most part seems safe. They meet a nice middle aged woman named Clara who takes a liking to them and invites them back to her camp where they meet her brother and kids and Connor ends up loving the place and so does Brie on the sailboat. Jeez. On the sailboat. Kylie gets seasick and Jay does decently with sailing. They pass by San Francisco, which has been completely taken over by aliens alien plants in large al in a large alien tower in the middle of the city. It looks like another world, they bypass it quickly and keep heading north. After hitting a huge storm, barely making it out, they finally reach Bodega Bay, which is lively and flourishing.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
Mia and company travel for days along the small highway heading north with a large convoy. Over a thousand people. Maria, Barry and several others stay back. But Mia and company don't get too far before they find they're being stalked by a herd of thrashers. Not only that, but they also lose contact with the base. Regardless, they push forward. As they get closer, Travis, Gail, Dana, Dana and several other guards discuss what they should do. Finally, they decide to spend a small team up consisting of Mia, Gail, Annie and newbies Harlow and Terrell. But things don't go as planned when they are instantly hit with a barrage of bullets, Mia included, who is struck three times. Only a few more and she's got 50 cent levels. Yep, back in California, Ava wants to leave Lake Isabella. She's getting antsy being so close to Bodega Bay. She talks with Clara some more and finds out why Clara was so nice to them. Brielle reminds her of a daughter she lost. She takes a liking to Brie and Connor and offers to take care of them if Ava is okay with it. Ava talks to Bri and eventually Bri decides to stay. Ava gets some help from Ryan. The same Ryan who previously helped Ambridge & Co. Against the behemoth?
Robert Lamb
Same guy.
Jack Austin
Ryan leads Ava through the forest to the north, but eventually they part ways. Ryan heads back to Lake Isabella and Ava's on her own. Some days pass and Ava stumbles into someone's camp, a younger guy named Cal. He wants to travel with her for safety, although she's reluctant. But after a tense discussion, she decides to travel with him so she can at least find the trails again after being lost. It doesn't take long before she discovers this man is part of the gang that's been terrorizing people around the lake. He tries leading her into danger, but Ava isn't taking any chances. She kills Cal and runs runs off before his party can arrive. Several weeks pass and Ava sticks by herself, never joining anyone else. It isn't easy, but she eventually makes it to Bodega Bay where Ambridge, that's me. Discovers her asking around about Scott. Ambridge takes her to the RV where Kylie and Jay are staying. Ava and Jay play catch up, but the happiness subsides when Ava discovers it was Jay who left the note and not Scott. Page four left.
Robert Lamb
There's one more.
Jack Austin
Page five.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, a little paragraph.
Jack Austin
Oh, let's go let's keep up the intensity. Ava takes some time and sits by the bay, watching the water and boats. Ambridge joins her for a little bit to chat about the future and what it's like holding on to hope. Eventually, he leaves and Ava thinks about what she'll do next. Although for that night, she just wants to sit and stare out at the water. And season five, baby.
Robert Lamb
Yay. By the way. Like, I don't know if people enjoy, like, doing the recaps that way, but we're not gonna edit a recap. So it's either that or nothing. Okay.
Jack Austin
Yeah.
Robert Lamb
I'm not going through every episode.
Hope Ennis
And if you didn't get that, you wouldn't get all the voices that Jack does. The intensity, the sadness.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
The pain, the stumbling over.
Robert Lamb
I mean, how fast. I wrote it just to piece it all together.
Jack Austin
I just want to say that he.
Robert Lamb
Hasn'T read it before, so he just reads it.
Jack Austin
You threw succinctly in there. Yeah, I got it.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, that's true. You didn't stumble there. No. You stumbled over the.
Jack Austin
That's what they call me. One take Jack.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Well, yeah.
Jack Austin
That's what like 24 takeo.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
Call me around my house.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, yeah, yeah. When you force them to.
Jack Austin
That's right.
Robert Lamb
So, yeah. That was season five in a nutshell. So, like you could listen to all 16 episodes. Or. Or you could just listen to that 10 minutes of Jack talking. Whatever's more exciting for you, you should do.
Hope Ennis
Just make Jack do like every single recap.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Just a recap of.
Hope Ennis
But I want the voices of every character too.
Jack Austin
No problem.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Hope Ennis
You're like, done.
Robert Lamb
Female voice.
Hope Ennis
I do it every night anyways.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Yep.
Hope Ennis
I would watch it.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Or listen.
Hope Ennis
I would listen.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. So that's. Yeah. Season five. So season five.
Jack Austin
Olaf Presents.
Hope Ennis
I literally was thinking that and didn't think you would. I. You should have known. I would. You would know.
Jack Austin
Insurance.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Hope Ennis
That's what I. Let's do it.
Jack Austin
That's like a three minute recap of it. It's like a three minute recap done by Olaf of all the entire movie. But he does it. He does it himself. And he, like puts a wig on. I would totally do that for into.
Hope Ennis
I support this.
Robert Lamb
I know there's so many. We were talking about this beforehand is like, you're part of your own story with Ava. And then Jack's like, Ambridge is with Jay and them. And then there's also me. Has her own thing. So everyone's got like their own story. But you guys don't know everything like with the Mia stuff. Like I know like it's own, you know.
Hope Ennis
That's a recap.
Robert Lamb
Oh, that's true. Now. Now you know, I mean, I gotta be honest.
Jack Austin
There was a character that I kept reading in another group that thought I. That was in my group the whole time.
Robert Lamb
Who?
Jack Austin
I don't. I think it was one of the ladies. I forget. I think it was Bri. I thought Bri was with us.
Hope Ennis
Bree is with me.
Robert Lamb
Bri was with. It was the whole time.
Hope Ennis
Traitor.
Robert Lamb
Y.
Jack Austin
It's probably because I read the script and I just look for Ambridge.
Robert Lamb
Cuz that's what I was going to say. You glide through it.
Hope Ennis
Like I used to do that. You used to read or I used to get the whole script and read.
Robert Lamb
It before you read the whole thing.
Hope Ennis
Like the first season.
Jack Austin
Okay.
Robert Lamb
I was gonna say like not. It's been a while now.
Hope Ennis
I just make you read. So like. I know.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Read opposite you or whatever. That's why a lot of times I play Bri. Do your voice.
Jack Austin
Do your Brie voice.
Robert Lamb
Okay. Ready?
Jack Austin
Yep.
Robert Lamb
But I don't wanna.
Hope Ennis
That's.
Jack Austin
That's pretty good.
Robert Lamb
That's actually pretty good. She whines a lot.
Hope Ennis
She whines a lot.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. People were not too taken with Brie. That was a thing. People were kind of annoyed by Bri, which I guess took some pressure off of Jay because people didn't like Jay for a while.
Jack Austin
Like Jay. They thought he was.
Hope Ennis
I didn't mind her this season. Last season.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. But JJ's grown on people. I've noticed like whenever we ask like people's favorite characters, sometimes we'll get some Js in there.
Hope Ennis
I think I. Maybe someone posted that, like who's your favorite character from Men of All Hope or something.
Jack Austin
And I. I think I just posted. Who was your favorite?
Hope Ennis
A lot of Ambridge.
Jack Austin
No, that's not true.
Robert Lamb
It's probably Mark first.
Hope Ennis
Mark was my favorite.
Jack Austin
It's a lot of. It's a lot of Ava's. It's a lot of Edith from seven to Beat and. And a couple of mics.
Robert Lamb
Mike's from Tower 4. That's true. Different. Different shows. But I know Ava, like a lot of people, like didn't not like Ava, but they were like.
Hope Ennis
That was me too. That I thought that she was. I. I like her so much more.
Robert Lamb
Now because she was like selfish.
Hope Ennis
She was selfish.
Robert Lamb
She got Mark killed.
Hope Ennis
I think Brie got Mark killed if we're talking about it.
Robert Lamb
But I mean.
Jack Austin
Wait, Mark is Dead. I'm kidding.
Hope Ennis
Spoiler.
Robert Lamb
Jack's seen all the. The posts on Facebook of how people cry.
Jack Austin
Not if you're interacting on Facebook. You're interacting with me or Rob.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. It's just funny, like, seeing the. The sad emojis and stuff like that. When people get to the end of season four.
Hope Ennis
I know. I get those all the time.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Hope Ennis
People say that's, like, one of the main questions I got. Did you know that he was gonna. I was like, yep. I knew he was gonna die eventually.
Robert Lamb
It's funny because, like, yeah, I mean, I knew, like, you know, he was probably gonna die, but it was more of like, when. And then when Nick was like, I'm moving. I'm like, you did the perfect time to write off your character. Which is why when some people are like, he could still be alive, and they're holding out hope. I'm sorry.
Hope Ennis
Maybe if Nick.
Robert Lamb
I mean, maybe Nick does some voices for other stuff, but I don't think he's coming back as Mark anytime soon. That's just me.
Hope Ennis
I don't never know.
Robert Lamb
But if somebody wants to write fan fiction of where he survives and turn it into a 50 shades of gray style wow story. Go ahead, go ahead. Well, 50 shades of gray was Twilight fan fiction, so there you go.
Hope Ennis
I love how you know that.
Robert Lamb
I do know that.
Hope Ennis
I know that. I know that too.
Jack Austin
It's a whole new world for me.
Robert Lamb
You didn't know that. Yeah.
Jack Austin
Yep.
Robert Lamb
And she wrote that on her phone.
Hope Ennis
I didn't know that.
Robert Lamb
All of 50 Shades of Gray she wrote on her phone. Yeah. So anyways, I have some, like, notes here. Basic stuff. Just. I knew that the season was going to end with Ava and Jay, like, finally getting back together. Yeah. But I didn't want to go too far after that, so I just figured, like, that'd be a good ending point. Having Ambridge spot Ava was kind of spur of the moment because. I don't know, I thought that was more. Yeah.
Jack Austin
Last time those two met, he was letting you off the hook.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. It was in season one.
Jack Austin
Yeah.
Hope Ennis
Was that season one?
Robert Lamb
That was season one.
Jack Austin
Yeah.
Hope Ennis
That was when I was a scientist.
Robert Lamb
It was probably, like, episode. He was 12 or something like that.
Jack Austin
He was a.
Robert Lamb
He was a milit.
Hope Ennis
I was a scientist.
Jack Austin
Oh, that's.
Robert Lamb
She was pretending to be a scientist.
Hope Ennis
Well, technically.
Robert Lamb
Okay. You're environmentalist. I guess, Whatever. But yeah, you were.
Hope Ennis
Yeah. I don't remember the scientist's name. Do you?
Robert Lamb
Bennett. It was something. Bennett.
Hope Ennis
Dr. Bennett.
Robert Lamb
Dr. Catherine Bennett. Maybe. I don't Know, there's so many characters, I get lost sometimes.
Jack Austin
Like, let's go back and play the whole season.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Starting right now. Here we go. For your listening pleasure.
Hope Ennis
We had just like a five minute little.
Jack Austin
My first job.
Robert Lamb
That's true.
Jack Austin
Yeah. That was my first big role, was Ambridge.
Robert Lamb
Ambridge, yeah. Because he comes in at the end of season one.
Jack Austin
I remember just him being part of one of the army guys and being like, oh, that was cool. And you're like, well, he's actually coming back. And I was like, oh.
Robert Lamb
And I.
Hope Ennis
You know, honestly, no.
Robert Lamb
And it wasn't even until, like, after that, like, when season one ended, where you're like, I like doing this. Like, if you have more stuff. And I'm like, well, you want Ambridge to come back because I'll write him into season two. And I had him meet Jay and then that was just like their thing.
Jack Austin
Yeah. It's been fun playing Ambridge, though. I mean, it was cool recording that whole death scene for season six, but.
Robert Lamb
Oh, yeah, of course. While it lasts. Spoiler. Just kidding.
Jack Austin
Sorry.
Robert Lamb
Just kidding.
Hope Ennis
Do you know who. My first character.
Robert Lamb
Who was your first character? Paralyzed, I think.
Hope Ennis
I think before, because I. It was Katie.
Robert Lamb
Katie.
Hope Ennis
But I do think it was Nurse Betty first. Like, you. Just a little one. A little one. And then. And then it was.
Robert Lamb
It probably was Nurse Betty.
Hope Ennis
I think it was.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. And then Katie. And then.
Hope Ennis
And then you're like, I'm creating the show. It's called End of All Hope and it's about you and.
Robert Lamb
No, no. It was funny, though. Like, writing End of All Hope, it's kind of like with Ryan. Like how Jack mentioned Ryan playing Ryan, that was just because our friend Ryan was like, I want to voice, act. And I'm like, all right, let me see if I have something for you. And the only thing I had was this guy named Ryan. I'm like, do you want to play a guy named Ryan?
Hope Ennis
I thought you said you named it after him. And I'd be so mad because I always ask you if I can name the characters and you say no.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, but I wouldn't, like. You want to name a character, though?
Hope Ennis
I want to name.
Robert Lamb
You don't want a character to be named Hope.
Hope Ennis
I do that, too.
Robert Lamb
Why?
Hope Ennis
Why not? Why not?
Robert Lamb
There can't be a Hope in End of All Hope.
Hope Ennis
Why not?
Robert Lamb
That's too much. Because then people are going to think it's about her.
Hope Ennis
Can I name a character, though?
Robert Lamb
I said you could.
Hope Ennis
Okay, cool.
Robert Lamb
But it's got. It's got to Be something good. It can't be, like, Olaf or something.
Hope Ennis
Why not?
Robert Lamb
I don't know. It could be. I don't know.
Hope Ennis
It's from Sweden.
Jack Austin
You okay? You're going to name a Swedish character, you have to play them.
Hope Ennis
No, thanks.
Jack Austin
Yeah, he's a Rastafarian named Olaf.
Robert Lamb
Hope can do different voices, though, for sure. Do your Southern. Southern accent.
Hope Ennis
Give me something to say.
Jack Austin
Well, if you just want to drag your vows a little bit.
Hope Ennis
Well, if you just want to drag your vowels a little bit.
Jack Austin
See, she can do it if she hears me say it.
Robert Lamb
Do Valley.
Hope Ennis
Always do it. You say, that's just my voice, and that makes me mad.
Robert Lamb
Good. Nice. There it was.
Hope Ennis
Usually. Usually I just make him say it, and then I just.
Jack Austin
I didn't hear you say do Valley, girl. Sorry.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Yeah, that's true. She'll. When I, like, there's, like, certain lines that she'll read. And, like, usually we're good, but every once in a while, it'll come up to something. She'll read it. I'll be like, no, like. Like this. And then she'll do it again. I'm like, no, you read it and then she.
Hope Ennis
But my favorite things that you say are. No, do it upbeat. Okay, not that upbeat.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Hope Ennis
Okay, but not that low. I hate them.
Robert Lamb
Because you gotta find that. Right.
Hope Ennis
Tell me what you. You say it, and then I'll just mimic you.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, that's not. I mean, that's, for the most part, good. And I think reading against people, like, helps out a lot.
Hope Ennis
It really does.
Robert Lamb
I always do you do that, too?
Hope Ennis
Have him read?
Robert Lamb
Not always, but sometimes. Yeah. It depends. If it's like, a lot of back.
Hope Ennis
And forth and then. And then you started.
Jack Austin
It really depends on the character. Like, Ambridge, I don't need a lot of reading off of. Because, you know, I always feel in my mind like Ambridge is in charge, so I'm gonna dictate how he's gonna sound.
Hope Ennis
You're like, this is me.
Jack Austin
Well, no, no, not this is me, but just, like, that's how I feel with. With Ambridge having the military background and him feeling kind of like he's babysitting the people that are with him. Not. Not in a negative way, but, like, he feels responsible for everyone that's around. So when I'm reading him, I'm kind of like, okay, he's going to be saying it like, this is what we're doing.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
So he just kind of has a preset tone to me. But, like, Gavin, I have to have Somebody reading off of me for him.
Robert Lamb
Well, because he fluctuates a lot, too, through anger and not. So sometimes I'll be like, all right, this time you're a little bit more growling. This time a little bit more toned down.
Jack Austin
Yeah, that's when I really need him to go, hey, calm down a little bit.
Robert Lamb
That was too much. Too scary.
Jack Austin
Yeah.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, that makes sense. In case you didn't know and you only listen to End of All Hope. We do a lot of other shows.
Jack Austin
That's true. We do.
Robert Lamb
So, yeah, check out the Stone House where Jack plays Gavin. And listen to Cop Doctors, where Hope plays nurse Betty.
Hope Ennis
She's in it a lot. Wasn't Katie a nurse too? See, it was. Yes, I think she was, because for a while, I was like, am I typecast as a nurse because I played a nurse twice or something?
Jack Austin
You played a nurse? My wife has played a lot of librarians and waitresses. Feels like she. Yeah, and waitresses. So she feels. Feels that she's been typecast as a librarian. So every time we're at the house, she goes like, shh.
Robert Lamb
Like, whoa, that was really good. So in character, no wonder why you.
Jack Austin
Got typecast, you method actor.
Robert Lamb
Let me see what I have. So I. I put. Yeah, Jay and Ava were both gonna make it to Bodega Bay by the end. See, a lot of times, like, I'll have the ending in mind for, like, a season.
Hope Ennis
Like, I knew that. I knew that. Not that I was gonna end there, but that.
Robert Lamb
But that was how, like, that was the season was gonna end. And then it's just more of, like, how do they get to those points? Like, that's. That's where, you know, I kind of deviate a lot. So I don't like to outline completely. Like, I like to just have, like, little moments that I know I need to hit while I'm writing. Plus, like, I like the mixture of, like, happiness that you met Jay. Like, you got to see Jay again. But, like, the sadness of that. It wasn't Scott who left the note.
Hope Ennis
Sad.
Robert Lamb
I think that's funny.
Hope Ennis
Who left the note? Do you know what that's from?
Robert Lamb
No.
Hope Ennis
Jersey Shore.
Robert Lamb
Okay. I'm surprised I didn't get it.
Jack Austin
Me too.
Robert Lamb
I'm a big Jersey. Jersey Shore.
Jack Austin
Wait, Jersey Shore.
Robert Lamb
Jersey Shore. Not Jersey Girl. Jersey Girl. Not Jersey Girl.
Jack Austin
My bad dog.
Robert Lamb
What was it? Oh, that is one thing, though, that was kind of spur of the moment, too, was having Jay leave the note for Ava to see. Like, I didn't even think of that until after I Wrote, like, your episode, like, where she sees the note on the back of the door. And then I was like, oh, it'd be interesting if, like, Jay and them actually got there first. Because, like, when are they going to get there? So what if they got there first and Jay left the note?
Hope Ennis
Because it's just so funny that he.
Robert Lamb
Didn'T write J. J. Yeah, well, that was. The thing is, like, how do you do it? Like, where. It's ridiculous. Like, I figured him just putting that there, thinking. Well, for two reasons is they heard, like, thrashers, so they were trying to hurry. And, like, Amber and Kylie are waiting, like, hurry up, Jay. So he does that. But also for the fact that, like, he doesn't even really know if it's going to work. It's kind of just a. Hey, if you do see this, maybe Ava already got here first. Or maybe Scott and them, like, they're already gone for good. They're not coming back. But I'll put this note here just to say, do you think if he.
Hope Ennis
Did write his name, she would have went to Bodega Bay?
Robert Lamb
I think so.
Hope Ennis
I think so, too.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. I mean, maybe she explores for. See, I don't even know how you, like, explore. For Scott, though, it's like the end of the world.
Jack Austin
I think a scenario like that, though, you would cling to familiarity. So, yeah, if Jay writes J. Ava, she's gonna go. She's gonna. Okay, that's good. Because safety is with Jay in. In people that I know. So let me get with Jay and. And then he. And I can look for.
Hope Ennis
And what else would you do? Just sit around?
Robert Lamb
Well, that's the thing is, like, it's either she stays there, waits for maybe Scott to come back, or goes to try to find, like, QZ zones. Like, tries to see if maybe he was taken to a quarantine zone. But then it's like, where are they? How do you find them? All the big cities are hit, so you can't really go into San Diego. Like, it's like.
Jack Austin
Like finding a needle in the Chrysler Building.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, yeah. Which is slightly bigger than your average haystack. Did you know that?
Jack Austin
I did.
Robert Lamb
Okay, cool.
Jack Austin
So that. That joke is from a Saturday Night Live skit with Scarlett Johansson. There was this movie called Unstoppable with Chris Pine and Denzel.
Robert Lamb
Oh, yeah, I do remember that.
Jack Austin
Where one of my favorites, Rosario Dawson, is like. It's like finding. It's a missile the size of the Chrysler Building.
Robert Lamb
Oh, yeah.
Jack Austin
And they keep going back to the Chrysler Building and that it's like finding a needle in the Chrysler.
Robert Lamb
I remember that. I remember Unstoppable too.
Jack Austin
Me too.
Robert Lamb
It was an intense.
Jack Austin
It was an intense train. Anytime it's chase on a train, I'm just like, okay, we're done here.
Robert Lamb
There's not a lot of train stuff anymore.
Jack Austin
Not a lot of good train stuff, period.
Robert Lamb
Not anymore.
Jack Austin
The only time train stuff was good was probably Train to Busan. That was interesting.
Robert Lamb
I'm gonna go with the. One of the first movies ever made with the great train. The train coming at the screen back in like 1902.
Jack Austin
I was gonna say Westerns always do trains.
Robert Lamb
Well, yeah, no, 1902, like before talkies were around and that train just came at the screen and all those people thought it was real. Yeah, that's the best train.
Hope Ennis
Deep cut.
Robert Lamb
You had to be there for that one.
Jack Austin
You guys remember 1902? Guys? Anyone? Back when that movie came out, guys.
Robert Lamb
It was like a five minute movie.
Jack Austin
Rob is a vampire.
Robert Lamb
All right, whatever. It's a good movie. Check it out. Rented out Blockbuster. So a couple other things I did introduce like a couple more alien types. Which was the Behemoth, which was the giant monster.
Jack Austin
I loved that, by the way.
Robert Lamb
But some people, like, that was coming out the same time that like Tower 4 Season 1 was coming out when we released that. So, like, people were like, is this the same monster in End of All Hope? And we do have crossover every once in a while, but it's not the same.
Jack Austin
But not that.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, not that. Not the Behemoth. And then also Ava sees a slug like creature. Remember, do you remember recording for that? Probably not.
Hope Ennis
Nope.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, it's in the finale. She sees it when she's on her own and then she. That guy surprises her in the. The winery.
Jack Austin
I remember recording Ambridge thinking he was going to get killed by the thing.
Robert Lamb
Oh, Behemoth.
Jack Austin
That was a fun one.
Hope Ennis
When it's like, would you want to know beforehand that I'm gonna die if.
Robert Lamb
I was like, Right, Yeah. If I was killing.
Jack Austin
Yeah. I ask every episode if this is the one where I die.
Hope Ennis
I asked all the time, am I still the main character? Am I gonna be in next season? Will you ever kill me off?
Robert Lamb
I can't answer some of those.
Jack Austin
I actually do know a little bit into the future, but I'm not gonna say. Yeah, I think I'm pretty excited about it.
Robert Lamb
I mean, I think it's gonna be pretty cool. Like where we go. I don't know exactly how many seasons gonna be, but we still got a few More. And then it. I have an ending in mind.
Hope Ennis
Let's shoot for like, 30.
Robert Lamb
Okay. Yeah, we'll just. We'll just Simpsons it and that's it.
Jack Austin
Yeah. No, because every Ambridge opens up a chain of fancy Finnegan's restaurants.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. It's just people living amongst the creatures. Kind of like Jurassic World, Dominion, where they never solve the issue of dinosaurs being out in the wild. They just, by the end of the movie, they just go, it's okay. I don't care. That movie sucks.
Jack Austin
After the third Jurassic park, it was one too many. After Lost World, I was like, okay, I think I've had enough.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, I was thinking that too. I just always liked the idea of, like, in Jurassic World, Dominion, they're like, dinosaurs are among us. What do we do? And they're like, well, we'll just cope with it. And it's like, dude, we have, like, Burmese pythons in the Everglades right now, and it's destroying our ecosystem. You don't think a T. Rex is going to do that. Like, it just doesn't make any sense.
Jack Austin
Right. Like, there is now a python hunting season.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Because they're over talking and kill as.
Jack Austin
Many as you want.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
And they will pay you to do it.
Robert Lamb
Yep.
Jack Austin
So the T. Rex shows up.
Robert Lamb
No, no, it's fine. Fine. It won't do much.
Jack Austin
It'll be okay. By the way, has anyone seen Jimmy? It's been four weeks.
Robert Lamb
Put up the.
Jack Austin
He used to live right where that T. Rex got dropped off.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. So crazy coincidence. Yeah. For this season, you know, Mia had a lot to do. She was like a character that I wanted to expand upon. I know Hope's upset because that's taken a lot of spotlight away from Ava.
Hope Ennis
Oh, yeah. All the, all the voiceovers.
Robert Lamb
That's one thing, though, is like, see now that, like, when Mia was a, like, main character, because I'm not going to talk about, like, her story too much because I don't want to spoil things. Yeah, she's dead. She had a lot to do. Ava had a lot to do. And then Jay had a lot of, like, voiceover and his whole story. And then I think that breaks it up a lot. So it actually makes recording easier, makes recording faster. Like, you can come over and record, like, two episodes now when it used to take, you know, the same amount of time to record one or half.
Hope Ennis
For what this past.
Robert Lamb
For like the last seasons where, like.
Hope Ennis
Season one, I had it worse because I was by myself through a lot of it. So that's a lot of Voiceover.
Robert Lamb
That's true for the finale, but for the whole season as a whole. I mean, the. The finale was, like, very Ava centric, but for the most part, I mean, and like, other people, like, Kylie's got some voiceover and Ambridge has had some voiceover.
Jack Austin
But which is most weird?
Robert Lamb
It's.
Jack Austin
I do a ton of voiceover and other. There are certain characters. So when I see VO next to the name, I'm like, what the is this?
Robert Lamb
What am I doing? Amber's just gonna get some more VO too.
Jack Austin
Gavin got VO and I was like, yeah, what? We're getting inside.
Robert Lamb
He only had VO for one episode.
Jack Austin
Yeah. But Ambridge. Anytime Ambridge gets vo, I'm like, oh, oh, here we go.
Hope Ennis
Well, it's hard on in there.
Jack Austin
Yeah. Yeah.
Robert Lamb
Well, it's hard to tell a story through, like, one person's head all the time. That's why I'm having such a hard time with Tower 4 is because it's like one person seeing everything. How do you, like, develop the story, develop other characters when it's all through his head? But with this one, I was like, yeah, I'm going to start expanding a little bit more so you get background and can see, like, what other people are thinking and stuff. So that way, like, you know, Ava still main character, but there's other storylines that are going and hopefully it all kind of ties in at the end.
Jack Austin
By the way, when is Tower 4 coming out?
Robert Lamb
We'll see. We get that question all every day of our lives. Although we did get that question a lot with End of All Hope, the finale, because we split it up into two parts and people were dying for the second part. But the second part was one of the hardest things I've ever written. And not only that, I lost part of the script, which was very depressing.
Hope Ennis
Yeah, I didn't know that.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, that was really depressing. I don't remember what happened, but I was writing some of it there, like, at my house, and then some of it at the studio because Kim, my girlfriend, was painting this table at the time, so she would come paint and, like, the seven lamb logo and the table, because we redid our studio and I was writing. Something happened where, like, I saved the wrong file, and then I kept writing past it, and then I realized, like, crap, what happened here? And I was missing scenes.
Hope Ennis
Oh, my.
Robert Lamb
I was missing dialogue.
Hope Ennis
I never knew that until I read it. Yeah, just then.
Robert Lamb
Oh, really?
Hope Ennis
I never knew that.
Robert Lamb
That's why you had to come in, like, three different times to, like, fix Scenes Because I skipped.
Hope Ennis
I read like shit.
Robert Lamb
No, no. I mean, hey, hey, hey. No. But a lot of it was just that I was like, shit, like, how do I fix this? Because we had some of the voiceover recorded that didn't match up with other story, like the rest of the storyline.
Jack Austin
Yeah.
Robert Lamb
So that was a pain in the ass. And then the guy there's a friend of ours, Logan Ferdinand, who's been helping us edit some of these episodes. I'm so sorry to you, me and him. Like, I told him it was a long episode, so I was like, we'll split it. I'll do half. You do half. But I would give him like, scenes and he's like, these lines are missing. And he would go through. And I'm like, dang it, I don't. And I was like, here, take this script. I think this is the right script. He's like, no, it doesn't match up. I'm like, oh, my God. So I had to like go back and it just took. It took weeks to figure out what scenes were missing, what dialogue was missing, and how to fix certain voiceovers. So, yeah, that was a pain in the ass. I hope I never have that happen again.
Hope Ennis
And yeah, you have a backup on a backup.
Robert Lamb
Usually I back up stuff, but it's just like. I don't know why.
Jack Austin
I've heard of that happening. Yeah. Not of you. I'm familiar with the situation, but the first time I've ever heard of you missing a script or something.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, I don't know. I don't remember what. I think I saved it. Maybe deleted something accidentally and then saved it and then like continue with the story, not realizing I was missing like a large chunk of it. But. Oh, well, that being said, talking about scripts because this was the first finale that we split up into two parts.
Jack Austin
I dug it.
Robert Lamb
Which was, I think, good because it would have been a law 180 page finale.
Jack Austin
Yeah.
Robert Lamb
But luckily we split it in.
Jack Austin
That have been our first audio movie.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, pretty much. I mean, technically the finales are at audio movie length. Like, close enough. Because I have here the season finale page count. Season one, the finale was 36 pages. Season two, it was 81 pages. Season three was 99 pages. Season four, I dropped it back to like 86 pages. But then season five, part one was 72 pages. And then part two was 108. So that means the season five finale was 180 pages. But I was like splitting it up just seemed like a better choice than trying to edit a three Hour.
Jack Austin
Yeah.
Robert Lamb
I don't even know how. How many ads you have to add to that. 164. Just like drop them in every five minutes.
Jack Austin
Well, I mean, how long would it have been? Three hours.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
Then that's. At least. That's going to be 18 ads because for every hour, you have to have six.
Robert Lamb
So then. Yeah.
Jack Austin
At least on Spreaker, you do.
Robert Lamb
Right. It's. I think it's similar with acast.
Jack Austin
Yeah. So anytime you go over an hour, you're adding the ads quite a bit.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
So you're.
Robert Lamb
Although now we're not on Acast. We are on megaphone.
Jack Austin
Oh, that's right.
Robert Lamb
We just switched over. But yeah. Anyways, you can still find our podcast everywhere. You listen to podcasts everywhere? Everywhere.
Jack Austin
Okay, guys.
Robert Lamb
Every single place. And if you don't find it, reach out to them, not us. This was the other thing I want to talk about, though, is because people always complain that we take a long time to release and we won't go into the whole spiel of why it takes so long. But I do want to say that just to give a comparison, because I was going through season one and just kind of seeing roughly how, like, scripts, how long they were and how many characters. So to compare it with the new season six coming out, because I'm trying to write longer episodes. Because we are putting in more ads.
Jack Austin
Correct.
Robert Lamb
And this way it'll kind of like counteract that. Like having, you know, you know, more content to listen to. You just have to listen to a few more ads. But season one, episode one event of All Hope was 19 pages and had four characters. The three main characters and Scott. Episode two of season one had a Scott. Yeah, exactly.
Jack Austin
Which one is he in at this point?
Robert Lamb
Yeah, at this point, people don't even care about.
Jack Austin
Does he know that Fiona and.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, episode two of season one was 11 pages and episode three was 15 pages. Episode two had three characters and episode three had five characters. So season six, we've already been writing longer episodes, but season six is going to have a lot longer episodes where they're going to be like 45 pages for episode one of season six with 20 characters. Episode two is 53 pages with 22 characters.
Hope Ennis
And then I could have named one of those characters.
Robert Lamb
You will get to your chance. There's still plenty of episodes coming out. And then episode three was 46 pages with 21 characters. So that's a difference between season one and now. The upcoming season six of just those three episodes is 99 pages and 51 characters. So when people say, why is it taking so long? It's because as the story progresses, there's more characters, there's more story, there's more continuity, there's more.
Hope Ennis
There's more of them recording and fucking up.
Robert Lamb
Oh, there's so, yeah. And there's chances that I'll mess up a script that I have to fix. So yeah, that's why things just take a lot longer. I think this finale had over 30 something characters, you know, But I think.
Jack Austin
I think there is light at the end of the tunnel. Oh, yeah. Always have to go, well, it's just one of us and we are working. That's what so.
Robert Lamb
And that's the thing is like, I just want people to like be aware that like we, we understand the complaints of releasing faster. That's why we did that Message to seven or message from seven Lamb kind of explaining like how we operate. But also like, we right now we're recording out of a two car garage that was converted into a studio.
Jack Austin
That's right.
Robert Lamb
We don't have investors, we don't have like, you know, money rolling in.
Jack Austin
Like, still, by far my favorite comment we've ever gotten is it was somebody was giving us one star and saying this production company should have really thought more about it. It sounds like they just went and found their friends and it's like, yeah.
Robert Lamb
That'S exactly what we did. Yep. We just got some friends and we just started writing.
Jack Austin
That is. That is forever gonna be my favorite comment, that somebody complained that we were what we were.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, exactly.
Hope Ennis
Yeah. Sometimes people ask me like how I got started. I'm like, I used to work with Robert and he made me.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, he made me voice. I was just like, do me, Ava. No, but that's true.
Hope Ennis
Don't you ever move? Don't you ever.
Robert Lamb
I, I have asked. I'm like, if you're. You moved. And I was like, not far away, Right.
Hope Ennis
You'll still come record, right?
Robert Lamb
You're like, yeah. I just, you know, certain days I'm.
Hope Ennis
Like, okay, I have my stipulations.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, it's fine. We make it work. But yeah, it's one of those situations where we're trying to, you know, because we have to add more ads to generate more revenue to pay for the characters and the roles and the sound effects and all that kind of stuff. It's just kind of like this circle that like, it just keeps going. So it's like we make longer episodes to counteract the amount of ads we have to put in there. But also making longer Episodes takes longer. So, you know, we're trying, but we are building up and we are growing. We're, you know, like I said, I think that probably End of all hope. I think I mentioned this in the last recap. I think End of all hope is like the best kind of. Thank you. No, best timeline to kind of see how we evolved as a company from hundred one to season five, like, to the latest season in the sense of. It was the first time, like, there was other shows with, like, Shark Dropper, the old podcast group and stuff, but, like, they weren't like Seven Lamb. This one was like, felt more like a Seven Lamb show. And then. Yeah, like, just using our actors and kind of figuring out editing and writing as we went. That first season is probably pretty rough to listen to compared to the later seasons, but we've gotten a lot of not complaints. We got a lot of people saying that they like the fact that it kind of shows this progression gets better and better every season. And that's really what I want to.
Jack Austin
Do, is just like, yeah, anytime we see a. A comet that's, I guess, kind of in a negative light about season one, there's always a bunch of people that jump in and go, keep. Keep listening.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Just like, get past, like, certain episodes and you, you know, we get it. The pacing was off, the writing was that great. The editing wasn't that good. But, like, that was us. That was like you said, we got our friends together, just started producing a show. See how it takes.
Jack Austin
This came off the heels of Shark Dropper and.
Robert Lamb
Right.
Jack Austin
You not knowing if you wanted to do it. And I was like, hey, man, I'm right here. We're in.
Robert Lamb
We're doing this.
Jack Austin
We're doing it. And then we went into it full speed. And so we've learned a lot along the way.
Robert Lamb
And that's what, like, a lot of people go, well, why do you do so many shows? It's like. But doing so many shows got us to where, like, now I'm full time doing this.
Hope Ennis
Yeah.
Jack Austin
Well, I also.
Robert Lamb
That was hard art.
Jack Austin
It's also for the creative process, too, because you don't want to write just the same thing over and over and over again. And, you know, it also gives us that diversity. And we didn't know that Paralyzed was going to be liked. We didn't know End of All Hope or Tower 4 or any of these were going to even be popular.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
So we just threw ourselves at all of them.
Robert Lamb
Just.
Jack Austin
And then a lot of people liked them. And so then we have this problem where it's like you have too many shows. It's like, well, somebody out there really likes Crystal Blue or Atlas Avenue Beat. We can't just abandon it because everybody likes this show. I mean, Everybody loves Tower 4 and end of All Hope and Paralyzed and all of those individual fans of those shows want their show out.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
And we do, too.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
But we also have an obligation to our Cop Doctors fans and our Atlas Heaven of Eats fans and stuff.
Hope Ennis
So movie night fans.
Robert Lamb
There are movie night fans.
Hope Ennis
I love movie night.
Robert Lamb
But that's the thing too, is like, even if we just did Tower 4, which is super popular, we just did Tower 4. We just did End of All Hope. Like, they're good and they. They generate revenue from ads and stuff, but it's still. It's just not enough to pay for everything. So, you know, again, we don't always like to ask for money because we just appreciate people listening to this stuff. But you can go to Patreon and help out if you want to. We also just set up a PayPal. Yeah, PayPal account. You can search for Seven Land Productions. We're on there in case you just want to donate one time. Because we had somebody who was like, I don't want to join Patreon because I don't want to do multiple months or whatever. And I don't care about any bonus stuff. Like, I just want to help you guys out. So I was like, okay. So I set up, you know, a PayPal account. We posted it and, you know, now people are.
Jack Austin
By the way. Yeah. There was another person that posted on our site about their own link. If it's not posted from the page from Robert or myself or Amber, don't click it. Please only go through our sources and we'll post nothing against that person. I'm sure it was great intention. If it's not posted from us, it may not come to us.
Robert Lamb
We'll post a link every once in a while on Facebook or Instagram and stuff, just so people can check it out and stuff. But like. Like I said, we're going to, you know, keep producing. We got season six already in production. It'll be a little while before it comes out, but we're trying to get the jump on it because it is. The episodes are so long and there's. Oh, the whole season.
Hope Ennis
Yeah.
Robert Lamb
Or the season. Or the whole show.
Jack Austin
The series.
Hope Ennis
No, this is season.
Jack Austin
Next season.
Hope Ennis
Yeah. How will it end?
Robert Lamb
The last line of season six is going to be.
Jack Austin
But though I got it.
Robert Lamb
Oh, you know it.
Jack Austin
Yeah.
Robert Lamb
Okay.
Jack Austin
I've read the script.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, of course. Yeah. Before I.
Jack Austin
It's going to be Ava going, man, I wish there was more hope.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Yeah. Because Amber says right before, like, that.
Jack Austin
He goes, the end of all hope.
Robert Lamb
And she goes, I wish. Yeah, I wish there was more hope. And I was.
Hope Ennis
I love it.
Jack Austin
But the series is going to end bomb.
Robert Lamb
The series is going to end similar to that. Yeah.
Jack Austin
Was it?
Robert Lamb
Season 7 is going to open with Ava taking off her sunglasses and making a witty comment. We won't get fooled again.
Hope Ennis
I think I quit.
Robert Lamb
Okay.
Hope Ennis
Okay.
Robert Lamb
How many seasons? If we, you know, we don't know how many it's going to be actually. But how many will you do?
Jack Austin
30.
Hope Ennis
30.
Robert Lamb
No. How many will you like?
Hope Ennis
I have no idea.
Robert Lamb
So if it goes 10 seasons, you're still in.
Hope Ennis
I mean, that's like another four years, five years recording. I always say I will let you know way ahead of time, but I like doing this.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Hope Ennis
But I don't like when. I don't want to come.
Robert Lamb
I know.
Hope Ennis
And I have to. I don't like that.
Robert Lamb
But most of the time you're waiting for me to cancel so you don't have to.
Hope Ennis
Those are the best. When you're like, I know you're going to be upset, but I got to cancel today.
Robert Lamb
No, I know you're not going to be upset. I know you.
Hope Ennis
Like, I have rules for Robert. He has to text me the day of to remind me y. And if he doesn't text me before, like, it's like two, then it doesn't count. And I don't have to count.
Robert Lamb
That's why I double, like, I check with everyone twice. Like, that's why I text Jack today. I was like, so are you for sure coming? Because like, Hope. I was like, I got to double check with Hope. So I got to make sure. And then.
Jack Austin
Yeah, I'm glad we got to do it.
Hope Ennis
Yeah, I know. I literally texted him. I said, are we just recording or are we doing the. The recap? He's like, the recap. Like, then I won't cancel.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, but we are. We've already.
Hope Ennis
I've gotten so much better because now that you're not here and you have to drive to the studio, I. I feel bad, like, canceling on you like that.
Robert Lamb
That's true. You can't cancel. I don't live.
Hope Ennis
I know.
Robert Lamb
The studio is a two car garage where I used to live. It used to be my house.
Jack Austin
Yeah.
Robert Lamb
But now I don't. I don't live here anymore. We Turned it into a studio.
Hope Ennis
If it was just his house, I'd be like, I don't feel like it. I want to.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Because I lived here, and now I have to drive. I've had people cancel me. I'm like, wait, guys, I. I don't live there anymore. You're canceling me? I gotta drive home now. So. Yeah, I appreciate that.
Jack Austin
Yeah. I could record every day if it was, like, in the thing. I just love it.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, it's fun. It's fun.
Hope Ennis
For the most part, it is fun, but sometimes I just. I want to go home.
Robert Lamb
Right.
Hope Ennis
I have little children talking to me all day. I just want it, like, quiet.
Robert Lamb
Right. But also, like, chloroform them.
Jack Austin
They'll be quiet.
Hope Ennis
Yeah, I did that once, but, yeah, it didn't take.
Jack Austin
Smell like to you Jimmy? And he's out.
Hope Ennis
What does it smell like?
Robert Lamb
What do you want in next season? What do you want? Like, Ava to. Anything special for Ava?
Hope Ennis
So my favorite part.
Robert Lamb
She's in bodega.
Hope Ennis
What's my favorite part?
Robert Lamb
Your favorite part is Cal is shooting cow.
Hope Ennis
That was the best. I loved it. I immediately posted right after with no spoilers. And then after it was done, I was like, I loved it. I want to kill people.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. I also.
Jack Austin
Wow.
Hope Ennis
Rampage in.
Robert Lamb
In stories and stories.
Hope Ennis
I. I don't Not. I don't think she's selfish anymore, but I do. Like, I want her to hold true to herself and, like, what she wants to do, but I also want her to listen.
Robert Lamb
Do you think she should keep looking for Scott or give up on Scott?
Hope Ennis
You want me answer. As hope as Ava as you. Absolutely not. Goodbye.
Robert Lamb
If it was your fiance, what would you do?
Jack Austin
Answer the question.
Hope Ennis
I'm, like, not yourself in her shoes, but I'm gonna be honest.
Robert Lamb
Okay.
Hope Ennis
Never let it leave your mind. But don't. I mean, Ava's gone a little crazy in her search, I think.
Robert Lamb
Right.
Hope Ennis
Look, but don't put yourself in positions where I was.
Robert Lamb
I just. I always thought it was kind of weird in, like, apocalyptic movies where a lot of times they just never talked about people's, like, families and stuff. It was just like, this is the apocalypse. This is. This guy. He survived for, like, you know, three years, and then that's. But, like, he doesn't mention his family. He doesn't talk. Like, every once in a while, you'll get like, a walking dead where, like, Rick tries to find Laurie and stuff. But, like, Coral. Coral, Coral, Coral. But for the most part. But like, all the other side characters, not just like, Rick like, he's the main character. All the other side characters. It's like, did Shane have anybody? Like, did he have any cousins or brother? Like, people he cared about? Did Andrea, other than, like, her sister?
Jack Austin
Honestly, There's a movie. It's kind of a comedy, but it's Zombieland.
Robert Lamb
Oh, yeah.
Jack Austin
Yeah. And they have Tallahassee, who's Woody Harrelson's character, and he's always just this kind of tough guy, and they don't give much of anybody's background. And, like, out of nowhere, they're sitting in Bill Murray's house, and he tells that story about losing the puppy. And then he's like, we made this wallet out of duct tape. And then everybody in that moment is just like, oh, my God.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
And they find out that it's about his son. And that's like a tender moment for a really tough guy. And you. You find out a lot about his character and why he's.
Hope Ennis
Is the way he is.
Jack Austin
Yeah. And I was like, that was a good moment for such a silly movie.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
That moment hits really hard.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Because I feel like you don't get that a lot in, like, apocalyptic kind of stuff.
Jack Austin
And that's what made me think of that, because, like, if. If something were to happen to my kids in an apocalyptic situation, like, if.
Robert Lamb
You didn't know where they were or like, you thought they might have gotten taken to a quarantine zone, wouldn't you try to get there? Like, you. Like, I would. That's.
Jack Austin
I would have some reckless abandon.
Hope Ennis
It's like, no, they'll be fine.
Jack Austin
Yeah. Yeah.
Robert Lamb
No, no, they can be. I've trained them for.
Jack Austin
The rules are immediately out of the window.
Robert Lamb
I just think that for Ava, kind of made, like, that's her thing. But, like, you know, Mark didn't really have anybody, and Jay has his family. But it was also like, you know, he wasn't as, like. I mean, he was trying to get to his family, but Ava was like, really?
Hope Ennis
Yeah.
Robert Lamb
I want to get to Scott, so I don't know.
Jack Austin
Yeah, that's. That. That's one thing that I've wanted to see from Ambridge is like, he's, like. I said, he's been kind of a babysitter, and people have asked him about his family before, and he's like, they're out there. I don't know.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. I mean, he went to his.
Jack Austin
Yeah.
Robert Lamb
Parents. Home, but when they weren't there, he was just like, all right, all right. Well, I have no idea where they are.
Jack Austin
He's like, I guess my dad just packed everybody up and left. Whatever.
Robert Lamb
Yep. That's it.
Jack Austin
Yeah. So I don't know.
Robert Lamb
Little does he know he went to the wrong house. They moved the week before.
Jack Austin
That's right.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. And they were there. They were waiting for him to the house.
Jack Austin
And there were all these pictures of the family, but they had had another son that they were all taking pictures with.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. They actually erased him from all the pictures. Like, Back to the Future.
Hope Ennis
Gone so far down the rabbit hole with this one.
Robert Lamb
What do you. What do you want from Ambridge in the next season? Like, anything in particular? Like, do you think him and Kylie kind of have, like, a good friendship thing?
Jack Austin
For sure. I really like that friendship. And I like that not every friendship in the story between a male character and a female character has to end up them being a fudgeing love story.
Hope Ennis
I like my favorite thing.
Jack Austin
I like that they're able to be, you know, friends and cool with each other and both kind of communally rip on Jay.
Robert Lamb
I should say that a lot of.
Jack Austin
People thought Jay was gay.
Robert Lamb
They thought he was gay. They thought him and Ambridge were gay. And I never got that from them.
Hope Ennis
I always thought of that. Fanfare. That's the one I'm going to write.
Robert Lamb
I always thought of it as like, a big brother, little brother, same situation, same.
Jack Austin
And actually, that's how I picked it up from the beginning, because Jay was always so clumsy. And Amber, Julie's like, no, you dumbass, this is what we're doing. And I was like, I've got some friends.
Hope Ennis
You had no idea.
Robert Lamb
It's like a Dean Martin, Jerry Lewis thing. You were Dean Martin? No, but my thing is, it was. I thought I was setting up the Kylie thing from, like, season three. Like, because he starts talking to Kylie, Ambridge starts hanging out with Mia.
Jack Austin
Yeah.
Robert Lamb
And then, like, while Jay is hanging out with Kylie, they kind of bond a little bit. Then she leaves with them. Like, she's like, yeah, I'll join you. I don't have anybody I'm waiting for joins them. And then they've had talks throughout, like, her and Jay, like, this little teasing back and forth that finally I was like, all right, let's kind of seal the deal with these two. And some people. One person did message and say, like, yeah, I've been shipping them from the beginning kind of thing. So that's cool. But it was just funny when people thought that I was like, oh, I didn't really. I didn't realize, like, I was writing it kind of like that I Never saw like that, but other people did, so.
Jack Austin
So something to see from Ambridge, maybe some purpose finally.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
You know, like he's kind of just been like, I'm here to help everybody. I'll help everybody that's around me. Even if he doesn't do any. I don't really get care. But like, so I'm kind of like, okay, this is what I want. Because the military for me, for him is always just like, you're following orders, you're following orders. Goes wrong, you're following orders, everybody gets in trouble. Okay, come with me, I'll protect everybody. And he's never really been. Other than going to his parents house, which was on the way. Yeah, yeah, he's never really been like, this is what I want.
Robert Lamb
Want.
Jack Austin
Yeah.
Robert Lamb
You know, he dropped. He dropped like kind of everything. He wanted to stay in Denver, but then left with Jay because of the promise. He kind of made Jay and the.
Jack Austin
Need to think that if Jay left out there by himself and he got killed, Amber should be like, I let the poor little fella go and he died.
Robert Lamb
I. I did it. I did that.
Jack Austin
My fault.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. So, I mean, there's gonna be some character growth with like all the main characters and then we're introducing some new characters and spoilers. What?
Hope Ennis
Don't say it.
Robert Lamb
I'm not saying what, who the characters are or what they are, but somebody.
Jack Austin
Somewhere, well, not listening to season six.
Robert Lamb
New characters, not with new characters.
Jack Austin
I want all the same ones.
Robert Lamb
And we did kill off some characters, like some side characters in season five finale, and Mia had a rough go of it, so we'll see how that pans out in the next season. I know some people were upset when Roger died. I know you guys know a lot about Roger, but Roger died with like in Mia's group. And that was like a little more sad than I thought it'd be for some people.
Jack Austin
Raj.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, Raj. But, you know, sometimes you got to kill off some characters, make room for new ones.
Jack Austin
Want to make an omelet? You got to break some eggs.
Robert Lamb
That's true. We're not going to like George R.R. martin this thing by having main characters die every episode, but every once in a while, somebody's got to die. So, yeah, I guess that's.
Jack Austin
He looked at hope for a long time after he said that.
Hope Ennis
The next to go, who knows?
Robert Lamb
No spoilers.
Jack Austin
Oh, my gosh.
Robert Lamb
I guess that's it for this finale. I'm trying to think if there's anything else we missed. I mean, that's all my notes.
Hope Ennis
That's all my notes.
Jack Austin
There are some side stories coming up for this, right?
Robert Lamb
Oh, yeah. So if you're on Patreon, if you're on the. It's $7 a month. But it's the sixth lamb tier six lamb. That one has all of our little lambs. Bonus shows like side stories for end of All Hope, the Denver Falls, which is a prequel with Kylie and Mia. That one's five episodes and they're all out right now. Then we're also writing another one called Lake Isabella, which is gonna follow Ryan at Lake Isabella.
Jack Austin
My best friends Ryan.
Robert Lamb
So. And that's a four part series.
Jack Austin
Please be very rough on Ryan and his performance.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Let him know what you really think.
Jack Austin
Heavily.
Robert Lamb
Also, Hope loves that too. Like if you dislike anything that she does.
Hope Ennis
I always.
Robert Lamb
Just don't read reviews. Don't read reviews. I stopped.
Hope Ennis
So they do write mean things to me.
Jack Austin
Everyone. Yeah, everybody, especially me.
Robert Lamb
They have said. They've said bad stuff about Jack. They've said bad stuff about my writing.
Hope Ennis
Bad things about Jack. Then I'm.
Jack Austin
They said bad things about Robert's writing. One lady on Twitter wanted to give Rob a free lesson and how.
Robert Lamb
Yeah, right. Oh, it's always funny though, because.
Hope Ennis
So mean.
Robert Lamb
I've never listen.
Jack Austin
Because they're sitting behind their phone. That's why they're so mean.
Robert Lamb
But the thing is with the writing, the way I think of it is I kind of write differently for everyone. And sometimes I could take a picture. Sometimes I do make a mistake. Like all that's my favorite grammatical errors or whatever. Like maybe this and whatever it is, I, you know, it's wrong. But also sometimes I do it on purpose because I'm. It's the way somebody's talking or if it's in their head. Like it doesn't have to be grammatically right. Yeah.
Jack Austin
No, I. Some people don't agree because. Because you. Everybody that's listening to this right now is either guilty of or knows somebody who has major grammatical errors every time they open their mouth.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
And sometimes if everybody has written perfectly in their dialogue, it doesn't make.
Robert Lamb
It doesn't.
Jack Austin
And that's why when I'm doing it, and I'm sure when you do it, you don't want to sound like you're acting.
Robert Lamb
Right.
Jack Austin
You don't want to sound like you're reading.
Robert Lamb
Right.
Jack Austin
Certainly.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
Like you don't want to sound like you're. No. For. For me. I don't even want to sound like I'm acting. I want to sound like if I'm talking. I'm talking like this. So if I'm acting this, I'm going to talk normally.
Robert Lamb
Right.
Jack Austin
I don't want to be like. And then I would speak into the microphone and tell you because it's like you people see right through it.
Hope Ennis
And that's something Robert says to me all the time, is I'll be like, I would never say this. Yeah, it's not you.
Robert Lamb
It's Ava. It's not you.
Hope Ennis
I say it all the time. I'm like, I would never say this.
Robert Lamb
But sometimes I give like, Ava, like bigger words, which I wouldn't give to other characters that were maybe like, you know, because of issues. Yeah, like, there's just different things. Like, you're not always going to speak perfect English in your head when you're narrating something that's happening. So that's why sometimes I just write it kind of like, just like free, like, oh, this is what they would say. And yeah. You know, every once in a while, maybe I make a mistake, but sometimes I put that in there. Like, actually it's Ava and I went to the store and I'm like, that's great. But this, this little girl who's 16 is going to say, me and Ava went here or like Ava and me or whatever, you know.
Jack Austin
Thank you so much.
Hope Ennis
I appreciate it.
Jack Austin
Anytime you give us that, we sit and have a session where we just sit and talk about your. Your thoughts.
Robert Lamb
And I do want to point out one more thing, just to make it a little touchy subject. When we hire actors.
Jack Austin
Yes.
Robert Lamb
We hire people.
Hope Ennis
We don't that are first class.
Robert Lamb
Sure. But we don't ever, ever ask people their race, their orientation, good Lord. Or anything. We just ask them if they can fit this role. Like usually it's like, is it a deep voice or a light, lighter voice? That's pretty much it.
Jack Austin
We've had some comments recently that everybody in our show are. All of our shows are white. And. And it's so funny because we look at all of our actors and we had actually just posted something like a day before and it. Very eclectic group. But no, we do not cast anybody based on their race or their looks. We put their voice on there and we let you imagine they are whatever you think they are, which is the purpose of the audio drama. It's like a book.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Jack Austin
When you read the book, unless you are specifically told something, that person looks exactly how you want them to look.
Robert Lamb
I would say out of all the stories that we've written and stuff like that, maybe 10 times. Did I ever mention somebody being maybe, like, pale or like, having darker skin or having a sunburn or something like that? Most of the time it's like this person has curly hair, straight hair, short hair, no hair like that. And that's basically. Or like a crooked nose, something that could be anybody.
Jack Austin
Yeah.
Robert Lamb
Because I don't want to. Like, when you.
Jack Austin
When you described Ambridge, you were like, this guy is the spitting image of Doc Brown from Back to the Future.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. And you can see that.
Jack Austin
And I was like, I'm gonna put this as part of the performance. That way, anytime anything happens.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. That's who you are, Marty. Yeah.
Jack Austin
Great Scott.
Robert Lamb
But that's the thing is, like, we don't even discuss sexual orientation in most of them. But there are some gay characters, there are some bi characters in some of our shows. And it's just one of those things that I'm not going to ask an actor if they're gay or bi if they're playing the character, because I don't care. I think a bi character can play a straight character. I think a gay character can play a straight character, and vice versa. I just. We hire people. I don't like to get into that. I don't want to out anybody.
Jack Austin
No.
Robert Lamb
I just want to be like, hey, this character is this. Do you want to play it? And they send in an audition, we try them out. If they sound good, we cast them.
Jack Austin
Right.
Robert Lamb
So anybody who has issues with that, we're sorry, but, like, we're not.
Jack Austin
I personally am not sorry.
Robert Lamb
We're sorry that you feel that way, but we're not sorry.
Jack Austin
No, I am not sorry.
Robert Lamb
But it's just one of those things where we get that from, like, all over. There's, like, different people who just get upset about that. And I just think it's interesting, the.
Jack Austin
Same thing to you that I say to my children when they're bored. Use your imagination.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Yeah. Imagine whatever you want for any of the characters. I really don't care.
Jack Austin
Exactly. And you'll be just fine.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. What else is there? So we got the Patreon side stories. You can go on there. Lake Isabella side story should be out. I don't know. Like, the first episode will probably be out within a month or so, but we're hoping to have all four episodes out this year, and then we'll have some more side stories and then season six. We're not sure when that'll start releasing, but we've already got several episodes written. Nope.
Hope Ennis
Nope.
Robert Lamb
But we still have to record A bunch of people and then get to editing.
Hope Ennis
I might have already recorded.
Robert Lamb
I know. Maybe for a couple episodes already.
Hope Ennis
Is it easier to, like, have, like, the main people record versus, like, finding new care people to voice new characters?
Jack Austin
The new characters are, I think, a little harder. The new characters, you never know how they're going to send you the file to be edited. You don't know what they're going to do. And it's easier for main characters because he's in the room with me more often than not to go, okay, please say it like this.
Hope Ennis
Or he says, please.
Robert Lamb
No, I never say.
Jack Austin
He does not. I'm just trying to make him say, read it better. No, no, no. He doesn't say read it better either. But more often than not, he's trying to.
Robert Lamb
He's trying.
Hope Ennis
Says that to me.
Jack Austin
He's trying to reign me in. Because he'll be like, all right, please be serious on this take.
Hope Ennis
Oh, yeah, okay. And you're going to read it perfectly, and you're not going to have any mistakes every time.
Robert Lamb
Don't make one mistake in this voiceover.
Jack Austin
And I'll go to be Gavin. I'll be like, hey, guys.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Yeah. Hey. You know, I'm a strict director. At least I'm not like Alfred Hitchcock or Kubrick making you do 75 takes. Yeah, you do sometimes.
Hope Ennis
But read it better where I go, this was perfect. It was.
Robert Lamb
But let's try it one more time.
Hope Ennis
I'm like, damn it.
Robert Lamb
Well, and that, like I said, because of all the characters we have now, it is kind of nice to. That you don't have to sit there for, like, two hours in the recording.
Hope Ennis
Booth doing so much voiceover, like, each of the voiceovers.
Robert Lamb
Because other than the season five finale, you haven't had, like, a ton. Yeah. It's not like a whole page anymore. You know, other than the season five finale, you did have a lot. But, you know, the last couple times you've come in to record, it's not as much.
Hope Ennis
And I know I get to, like, flip through.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Whole scenes. Who. These people. Who cares? They're not part of Ava's story.
Jack Austin
Yes. Something's wrong. This page does not have Ava.
Hope Ennis
Yes, I know. I think when I first started and I had. I was like, I'm scrolling a lot here.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Yeah, but you should like that.
Hope Ennis
I do.
Robert Lamb
You don't even want to come record.
Hope Ennis
I do. I'm just someone who likes to complain.
Robert Lamb
I know.
Jack Austin
I get that you're one of those.
Hope Ennis
It's a personality trait.
Robert Lamb
All right. Well, I guess that's. That does it for this episode.
Jack Austin
It does.
Robert Lamb
Season five recap. We want to thank everybody who listens. We appreciate you guys sticking around for this long. Maybe you just listened like you just found out about. Hoping you all listened in, like, two.
Jack Austin
Months, but wrong with these people.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. They're taking forever to release, too. But people who have been around since the beginning, you know, we're slow with releases and that We're.
Hope Ennis
And things, but we got more.
Jack Austin
And you also know that we love you.
Robert Lamb
Yeah.
Hope Ennis
And we love to.
Robert Lamb
We appreciate it. If you can donate. We appreciate that, too. But you don't have to. If you. If you just want to spread the word and spread the love and tell people about seven Lamb or just doing.
Jack Austin
Whatever you're doing and listening that.
Robert Lamb
But follow us, too, because we do post a lot of updates on Facebook. Follow us so Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter @7Lamb podcasts. That's with an S at the end.
Hope Ennis
Are you doing a bloopers?
Robert Lamb
A blooper.
Hope Ennis
Blooper. Blooper. I'm like, what? Did I say blooper?
Robert Lamb
Yeah, he said blooper.
Hope Ennis
It sounded weird.
Robert Lamb
Bloopers. Yeah. There's blooper. There's end of all hope bloopers.
Hope Ennis
I know I'm at a season, please.
Jack Austin
Am I on there? You've probably got to edit me a lot.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. Actually, if you all the cussing, I think there's bloopers for the first four seasons on Patreon, and then I think also yours and my first recording. Hope it's like our first recording is on Patreon, too.
Hope Ennis
Okay.
Robert Lamb
Yeah. So just for fun, just so people can see, like, how our first recording.
Hope Ennis
How we yell at each other.
Jack Austin
Yes.
Robert Lamb
All right, well, I guess that does it for I got this episode.
Jack Austin
Lock people in.
Robert Lamb
Oh, there you go. All right, so time to leave. Thanks, everyone, for listening, and we'll have more stuff out hopefully very soon. Soon. Bye, guys. This has been a seven Lamb production.
