Welcome to the Epic Success podcast. I AM your host, Dr. Shannon Irvin. Today I'm going to be doing a podcast called Believing Bigger. Listen, it's about to be a new year and it's been an interesting season, whether it be what's going on in the environment, the economy, the elections, all of that kind of thing. And I believe right now is a time for you to start believing bigger, start asking for the impossible. Have you been shrinking your dreams this last year? Have you been trying to just survive? Have you been telling yourself things like, well, if I could just make ends meet, well, if I could just do a little bit more? There's a scripture that says that if you pray weak prayers, they will not be answered. That's pretty bold of God to say that. Why? Because God created the universe and he created your brain to be able to call what isn't into creation as if it is because you were designed after a creative God that made the oceans, that made the stars and flung them into existence, that made you incredible. You right? And God is not offended at big dreams. He's not offended. He created the entire universe and then he said, let me create them and let them go. Create things, places, changes, solutions. Are you asking for survival or are you asking for mind blowing, impossible dreams that you couldn't possibly do on your own? Therefore you would need supernatural results to come along. And I'm talking about this through this lens today. Because God created your brain in a certain way to be able to call into existence what isn't. As if it is that capacity was given to us in our brain. Synaptic pruning is taking away things that do not belong in the running of our thought processes. And did you know that God wired our brain to succeed? To bring into existence what isn't. To dream, to have vision. There's a scripture that says without vision, people perish. And it also says, a man makes his plans, but the Lord directs his steps. So where are your plans? Are you believing for just a little bit more? Are you believing that you get a little bit healthier? Are you believing that your children do a little bit better, have a little bit better friends? Are you starting to say, I want to believe bigger? Your brain has the capacity to create the biggest results you could ever imagine. But 98% of the world do not tap into the systems of the brain that God created to be able to create out of thin air what isn't and make it come into reality, to be able to come up with solutions that change the world. I think about Things like hospitals that didn't exist until someone was willing to believe bigger and say, you know what? There needs to be a place where we help people that are sick so they don't die in their homes. Like, what is it that God's put on your heart to change the destiny? Whether it's the destiny of your family, what generational curse are you supposed to be breaking off your family and releasing generational blessings? I am a little bit on a soapbox today because I'm calling myself into believing bigger. I too started to collapse my dreams to start to put on my vision things that I could easily accomplish by just doing 10% more. My friend Dan Kennedy wrote, 10x is bigger than 2, easier than 2x. Your brain got wired in a way that once you learn how to activate it, you can create anything that God has put in your heart to create. God is not offended by big dreams. The thing that came to me this last couple days and why I'm doing a podcast that's so intimate about my relationship with Jesus and the brain itself that we can't really separate those two because scripture tells us that if. If you pray a prayer and then it's called a doubting prayer. So it's the prayer that you pray, oh, Lord, please help me with this. Please do this for me. And then you come back the next day. It's called worrying prayers. Oh Lord, I still really want that. Oh, Lord, I still really want that. What you're doing is you're taking potential and capacity and collapsing it and collapsing it smaller and smaller and smaller and smaller. And the definition of that word is weak. If you're saying weak and worrying prayers, what it says is, I'm not going to answer that. Because why? Because you're not activating this creation faith. Believing bigger means I've got to train my brain to see it as if it's so real that I could touch it and it's more real than what I can touch. Right? This is a brain based process. Right? We call this brain priming in our world. And whether you're believing for oh Lord, I just want to get to where I can leave my 9 to 5. How about the prayer becomes the desire, the vision. What goes on your vision board, what your epic, audacious goal is. I want to have so much abundance, so much overflow that I not only take care of my family's needs, but I take care of this is my own, but that we take care of all 7,123 orphans of mosaic Visions needs and we Take care of all the needs of the community around us that is Believing bigger. Do we want to pray, Lord, just help me not eat the way I've been eating or do we want to pray Lord? I am vibrant. I am full of life. I am stronger than I was in my 20s. I am able to hang out with my 17 year old and do marathons and get out there and be as vibrant in my 30s or 40s or 50s that I was in my teens. Bold prayers, bold vision. Asking for the impossible and then training your brain to see it so that or believe it so that you can see it. This is a process God created, science discovered. This is how the brain works, that you don't have to actually have the results around you. You could create out of your own mind, your brain, and then you can train your brain to actually get those thoughts out into the world in such a way, as long as you don't start doubting in such a way that it manifests into an actual living, breathing thing that helps people, that serves people, that brings heaven to earth right? That breaks off generational curses, that creates freedom beyond what you can imagine. God says in the scripture, I can just ask me and I will give you more than you can ever ask or imagine. But don't doubt what he's telling us in that scripture is honestly the science of achievement. This is how the brain works. Whatever you continue to repeat, ruminate and focus on will grow bigger and bigger and bigger. It's not a wooy thing. This is a how your brain works kind of thing. It's a glucose thing. This is how God wired and how science undiscovered that the more you repeat something as if it's actually happened, the more that thing will come to pass. But the more you repeat what you're seeing that you don't want, the more that will come to pass. So my ask is asking of myself in the same time as asking of you. Are you believing bigger? Are you saying faith, vision, vision that you couldn't possibly do without growth? And are you committed to calling into existence what isn't? As if it is. And if you are those things or you want to be those things, or this podcast is reminding you that it's time to be back in that place that you feel is tugging your heart while you're listening to me, that, that like you've. I was just speaking to a client. I'm like you were. You, you've been in a cocoon and you worked your way out of that cocoon and you became this Butterfly and the enemy of your dreams, the enemy that doesn't want to see you come to a full fruition of your creativity. Told you you were a caterpillar again. Have you believed that you're a caterpillar again when you're a full fledged butterfly? I know that's cheesy, I get it. You're probably laughing at me right now. But here's the thing. Get that vision in your mind. Are you going to ask, are you going to vision, are you going to create in this next year, returning to smaller or are you going to believe bigger? Are you going to say, God, you are not offended? In my big dreams because my dream, big dreams means that I think I have a big God. I am no longer going to worry and say weak prayers and asks and vision. I am not going to ask for a little bit, I am not going to say a little support. I'm not going to call forward a little bit of this for my children. I am not going to say use the quarter teaspoon when a gallon or two or three is what you're calling me to do. I'm going to, I'm going to declare big vision, faith level vision. I'm going to start to ask for the impossible. But I'm not just going to ask for the impossible and sit in my closet eating snickers and hope that it comes into my lap. Can I get an amen on that? That isn't how it works. That's not how your brain is wired. God said to you in scripture to renew, make new, create new. Create something that wasn't before your mind. Why? Why is that in there? That is in there. Because in order to have and believe bigger, in order to walk into your destiny, to your calling, you must make new your mind, your thinking process, your emotional process. The way you think that making new or renewing the mind is a brain based process, that there are steps for building an automation for what it is that you want so that your brain believes it, so that you start to manifest it. But there's also the thing that a lot of people don't talk about. Building that vision board. We're all going to be like, yeah, let's do it. But here's the thing. That's the foot on the gas, but where's the foot on the brake? What are you looking at that's creating more lack. What are you looking at? Are you looking at your, your finances, your health, your business and saying if I just survive? Well, guess what? If you repeat that often enough, that is exactly what you're going to get. So we've got to take those break pedal beliefs, those brake pedals, that cocoon that you've slowly been trying to shove yourself back into and and through something called synaptic pruning, literally remove that pattern from your ability to think it. Imagine if you never thought another lack. You have a God that flung the stars into existence, that made the oceans that you cannot control. Wildly creative. And he said he made you in that image. He is not offended at your big dreams, but he gave you a responsibility to make new your mind every single day. Why? Because that's how the brain works. When you make new your mind every single day, you become the person that can create the thing that is the vision that you are wanting to believe bigger for. So it's not willpower, it's not write it down and manifest it and wooy wooy it. No offense to my woo friends. We're friends. This is just the science and the scripture behind how that all comes to pass. You've got to build a success pathway in your mind that is to the place that is way beyond your capacity right now. You can't continue to do the things you've always done and expect your brain to give you bigger results. Doesn't work that way. God created your brain to be able to expand in ways that will create things that are not even in existence yet. I've got my iPhone in my hand. This was a vision that was given to someone back when we didn't even have the ability to get off of a corded phone. There are things that are going to be birthed in you that don't even exist yet. But believing bigger is that. Start believing you have a big God and believing that that God created that universe that you see that is so magnificent. And then believing that your brain was create by that God to be able to do more than you could ever ask or imagine if you make new or renew your mind whether where if you call into existence what isn't. That means automate a pathway in your neural networks that sees it and believes it before it exists. So that here's where the woo manifestation comes in. So that because your brain sees it, it puts that glucose to work faster and faster and faster and creates an environment in which you think differently than you did before. Not doing the old things, hoping to create the new, but literally renewing, making your mind new so it has the capacity to do the bigger thing. I wish I had a stadium right now of 30,000 people to be sharing this Message with because that's my heart for you and for me to believe bigger and to take the steps of renewing your mind, of removing those brake pedal beliefs that are only alive from the enemy, to keep you from your destiny, to keep you from your calling, to keep you from that big thing that you were called to do in this world, the life changing thing for this planet, for this country, for your family, to have your generational line that was headed this way, head this way to create generational blessings. Freedom, capacity, ability requires that we take the foot off the brake of those brake pedal beliefs, that we utilize this incredible system that God gave us to be able to think, to reclaim it and learn how the brain based process to building that automation toward what isn't so that it becomes and removing the things that will weigh it down and pull it, boomerang it back. So my ask for you is are you going to believe bigger? Are you going to choose says choose this day who you will serve. For me, in my household, we serve the Lord. But for this metaphor I want to share with you. Don't choose the caterpillar. Don't choose just a little. Choose the butterfly. Choose more than you could ever ask or imagine. Call into what isn't as if it is. And then commit to learning the process of managing the one tool which is your brain that creates what you do with your time, that has the capacity to make more income. You can't get a bigger brain, but you can learn how it operates and how to literally wire it to achieve the calling, the destiny that you have on your life. Now. We're going to be opening up a live event here soon and in the show notes there's a wait list for that and we're going to be breaking down. How do you do this?
