Hello everyone, and welcome to everything iconic with me, Danny Pellegrino. We made it to the end of Summer House. The current season, part three of the reunion just wrapped up and it was a doozy. And I'm glad we made it to the end because I was ready for this, this saga to be over. I feel like we've analyzed it from every corner and unfortunately there's a lot of things we're just not getting answers for or we're getting answers told to us through a beta blocker phase. And I'm glad that Andy got to the bottom of that because those two are on some beta blockers, which I think we all suspected something was going on because it was like they're all just. Or the two of them, west and Amanda, just sort of sitting there stone faced, especially west, that Demi. And he's just sitting there and not even given any emotion or something. Meanwhile, Jesse Solomon's crying out the wazoo from the bodega cat that's on stage. So, you know, that's my theory that there's. He's allergic to cats and there's a cat's on stage because he's being very emotional. And I hate to even. I don't even want to. I don't want to pick on a straight man for showing emotion because I think that's such a beautiful thing because unfortunately that's something that's. Not everyone is in touch with. And I think it behooves everybody to be in touch with their emotions in the way that Jesse Solomon and some of the other men on stage are. However, there are times where I'm like, I'm like, pull it together, Jesse Solomon. That's so mean of me. I know, I get it. I get it. And I know you're all out there. The Jesse Solomon defenders are mad at me, but he's nice, you know, I know, I know you're all sitting there yelling at me as you're listening this recap because I'm not trying to hate on that man. I'm just saying him and KJ and everybody's getting like kind of emotional. I'm like, you guys, I understand it's a group. I get it's a friend group, but I'm thinking like of my own friend groups. And I'm like, if somebody was sort of on the peripheral of the scandal in a friend group, in my friend group in real life was getting that emotional about a cheating Scandal. Then I'd be like, you need to pull it together, friend, because you're not the one who was either cheated on. But I get it. I get it. I know a lot of you are yelling at me. Danny, he's nice. He's involved. It's West's friend. It's West's best friend. Of course he's emotional. But I do. I feel like some of the peripheral characters are getting a little too. I don't know. Is that me? And maybe that's just a negative and antsy thing of me, but it's kind of how I'm feeling because I'm kind of having these. In the words of Whitney, Wild Rose, I'm having these villains as I'm watching, and I'm seeing KJ and Jesse and these guys get super emotional over something. And even Mia and Lindsey, the way they're chiming in with stuff. And it was really fun for the first two parts, but by the end of part three, I was like, okay, we're not getting anywhere. And I feel like everybody else is leaning into this more than the people who are directly involved are leaning in. Like, when I'm seeing more emotion out of Mia and KJ and Jesse and Ben and then, you know, more so than Amanda and West, I'm like, there's something just feels off about that all. I don't know. But we open on part three with the scenes of the cityscape, and it's already dramatic and operatic because they're playing that opera music in the background. It's like. Which, you know, is serious. And we come back from break, it's backstage. Sierra's still on the phone with Wes X. Who. I thought we were going to get some. That. That also felt like a. A tease. I got, like, blue balls from that phone conversation. That ended part two, where Sierra was on the phone with Wes X. And then I thought it was. As she hung up at the beginning of this part, she's like, okay, I'll call you. Be ready by your phone. And like, whatever. And then there was no closure to that. Did anyone else feel that way? It was like they set up that they were going to call her from the stage, and then they never called her from the stage. It was just the backstage thing. But then why did they keep in when Ciara was on the phone on FaceTime and saying, like, keep your phone on. Keep it handy. Like, make sure the ringer's on. Don't have it on. Do not disturb. I might call you from stage. We don't know, but we never got any closer with that. Meanwhile, Bailey. Bailey, who I've been rooting for. We were all rooting for you, Bailey. I was rooting for you. But then when you buddied on up to Amanda, I said, I got mad because in between the break, I don't know if you caught this, but Bailey's like, come on over here, Amanda. And then she's. I just want to make sure. Okay? And, like, obviously she's okay. She doesn't even shed a tear the whole time. Like, she's on a beta blocker. Like, she seems fine. She seems actually way better than anybody else. If anything, Bailey should have said, hey, Jesse Solomon, come sit next to me. Are you. Is everything okay? Or kj, come sit next to me. Is everything okay? Like, why is she checking in on Amanda? Amanda seems fine. I know she's. She's kind of taken. She's taken a lot on stage in the reunion, but at the same time, she's not showing any emotion, so she seems fine. Meanwhile, they all get back to the stage. Jesse and Carl are both 6 5, and Lindsay's like, why is one of you slumping and the other one's not? But it is nice that they're both 6 5. I don't know what that has to do with anything, but God bless. Then we're trying to figure out the timeline of everything, and it just feels like everyone's lying to me. Like, I don't really get a whole lot of truth because Wes says in February, March, that's when they started hanging out with mutual friends, and he saw, like, another side of her. He says, it was a treat for me to see Amanda incredibly happy, and we started spending more time together. It's like, well, you shouldn't have. You shouldn't have. Once you started to feel like it was a treat, you should have said, I need to go hang out with somebody else. But you're a demon. Amanda says there was a turning point one night. But then they said there was no affair happening in Summer House. They keep pointing out. Amanda especially keeps saying, like, I know if you look through this, if you look at the season that we filmed through the eyes of today, you can. You're going to see things differently. But she says nothing was going on. But Sierra's like, well, then why were you all flirting online and breadcrumbing on Instagram? And Sierra had said, she's like, women are very. When you're posting on Instagram, you're very conscious of what you're posting, so you're paying attention to the song. And this is true. And it's not just women. I feel this way, too. When I'm posting on Instagram. It's like, it's not an accident if you're trying to. If you're trying to throw some shade on Instagram stories or something, like, you know how to do it if you're picking out the right song. Even when I'm posting something about my son or something, I'm, like, looking through the music and I'm thinking, oh, does this make sense for it? Or does this make sense? Or is this a song? Are these lyrics? Even when you do pick a song, you're, like, kind of scrolling through the lyrics and it's like, oh, that lyric doesn't make any sense. Should I change it? Even though we should all just give that up, honestly, because there's times I would do want to post, and I'm thinking, are people going to read into this song? Like, I just think it's a fun song. So maybe. Maybe we should all get rid of this whole idea. But Ciro's right that, like, if you are posting online, Amanda was posting, like, Instagram carousels of west. And then what was that? She posted a meme at the end. And then even Sierra pointed out, like, west had been flirty in her posts. As late as, like, March, she was posting something and Wes was in the comments section being like, oh, look how hot you are, or something like that. I forget what he said, the wording he used. Exactly. But it's like, they shouldn't have done all that if they were together. It's just diabolical, all of it. And, yeah, Amanda's steadfast in the fact that she wasn't cheating. And the group thinks that there was, like, an emotional connection. They're like, well, you might not have been, like, physically cheating, but there was an emotional connection. And Kyle brings up the super bowl because he's been hearing that he got a DM saying that they were physical in 2025, and they were together then at the super bowl, which Mia had to Point out was February 3rd. The only reason I know when the super bowl is because it's always usually right around my dad's birthday. So I know it's like that first week of February usually, but otherwise I was right there with Mia of, like, when is the Super Bowl? You know, like, it's. It's. But it was February 3rd. Bailey's like, February 3rd, so at least she's on top of the timeline. Even though I'm still mad at her. I'm still pissed. Still pissed at Bailey. I am. Bailey, I've been rooting for you all season and now I'm seeing you buddy up to Amanda, which might be a smart play for the TV show. I gotta give her that. It might have been smart because if they. Here's what I'm thinking. Producers probably want west and Amanda back. Unfortunately, I'm not saying they should come back, but they can only come back if they're not a completely fractured group. And I don't know if that means coming back to in the City or Summer House or mixing the cast. I don't know what that means exactly, but I would imagine this is a big story. The producers probably want them all back in some way. And so it's possible that producers like, who's going to be the easiest one to buddy in up to? Amanda. Like, Levi's probably wanting to hold onto that job. You know, they. But unfortunately Levi's not on the stage. And so they, they were like, Bailey. How about Bailey? So they probably pulled Bailey aside and was like, hey, Bailey, can you give a little, a little pep talk to Amanda? Bring her on over to the couch. And so maybe Bailey was just trying to save the job. I don't know. But I'm still. I'm still kind of upset about it. Amanda, though, yes, Steadfast, not being a cheater, says they never hooked up in 2025. I don't believe it. I just don't believe it. I don't know. You can't pee on my leg and tell me it's raining because I see what's happening. I see you pissing on my leg, Amanda Pitula, and I don't like it. I don't like it. Wes says that there's all this, to be honest with you, his ex girlfriend, the stuff about exclusivity. And he says he told her last year they weren't exclusive, but then sent her a Valentine. Like, it's all very confusing. And obviously he plays with women and I've seen it described. I think I maybe saw it on social media or something. Where was it social media or was this a dream? I don't know. Maybe it was. But like, how about how west is like turning into. What was that guy in the real houses of Orange county who dated Vicki Gunvalson? He was like a scam artist. Faked the cancer. Brooks. Brooks. Remember the Brooks saga in the Real house of Orange County? Woo. That was good tv. That was good tv. And he was a big old liar. But he Definitely was like, scamming cancer. Which, when I look back to that storyline, I know this isn't a recap about that episode or that season of the Real House of Orange, but I do have to point out that that whole thing was. It was crazy to me that they made those documents. Do you remember the. The big smoking gun at the reunion of the Real House of Orange county was that, like, Brooks faked these documents from the hospital and they got the documents because he sent them to somebody. And, like, all the letters were together and, like, the words were. Were not spaced out, right? So it was, like, very clearly a fake letter and not one from an official hospital. It's pretty crazy that he thought he could get away with that by just typing a fake, fake letter and letterhead from the hospital. Like, that's fucking nuts. Anyway, I have seen Wes described as, like, Brooks light, you know, like, and looks wise, I'm saying. And he does sort of looks like. Like he might be growing into Brooks. And he seems like maybe he could be, like, a scam artist a little bit. Like, I'm learning about him in this reunion. I'm like, oh, he seems both dumb and also, like, very scammy. You know what I'm saying? But he does admit that he's been unclear with every woman he's dated. And it's like, yeah, no shit. You, Demi, you obviously been unclear, and you need to figure that out. Like, you're too old now to be playing these games, these reindeer games. And Amanda, if she had any sense, which obviously she doesn't. She doesn't have, I don't think there's, like, a tumbleweed in those heads of west. And Amanda, like, it's just a desert and there's a tumbleweed flying by. And the only thing that's happening up there is there's, like a. The sound effects in their head or like, the score in their head, it's like a tumbleweed and just goes, but, but, but, but, but. That's right. That's what I feel like is happening inside their heads. Like, I don't even think, especially at this reunion from the beta blockers, like, there's nothing going on up there. I. Even in the times when they're like, I feel really bad and I'm apologetic, it's like they're saying it. It's like, there's vocal fry. There's no. There's no loudness to their voices. It's just like, I'm sorry, tumbleweed. It's like, that's all. That's Happening up there, Nothing. But he said he's being unclear with all the women he's dating. It's like, well, you are too old for this now. You're not a 18 year old kid. Like don't be such a dummy. I don't know. And then Jesse points out, he said, he's like, it hurts. It hurts deeply. I feel lied to. I'm really upset about the sanctity of our friendship. A friend group being broken and I'm sad about it. You know, he's saying that through tears and it's like pretty traumatic. I don't know. I understand. It's TV show, they are all putting on a show. I just would ask us all to like just start looking at this as if it was your friend group. And it is kind of funny how dramatic it all is. Do you know what I mean? Like, I get it being dramatic for like Kyle, Sierra, Amanda and West. But when you think about like all the peripherals, it's like, okay, you're all acting nuts. Is that just me? Am I being too, Maybe I'm being insensitive. But it's like the sanctity of our friendship group and the thing you really gotta think about is like it is they're talking about like their careers in the show and everything. So it was even pointed out later on of like this is you're putting careers in jeopardy and whatever. And that's what I think they're so emotional about. But I don't know, maybe that's just me being insensitive. I don't know. Andy asked though if Amanda and West are exclusive and Wes says they weren't until the statement they put out or something. And Kyle says he loves Amanda, still is concerned for her and he says west isolated Amanda and Kyle's like, what's your plan for Amanda? And I'm, I understand Kyle. They've been together 10 years, they've been married. Like I understand Wes or Kyle's concern for Amanda and I am empathetic for that. But I do also want Kyle to move on because it seems like Amanda is, doesn't care so much about your feelings or her friends feelings or anything. So I hope Kyle, maybe this reunion gave him some closure and he's able to move on. Kyle also, I think is a producer at heart. So he's thinking about like Amanda's future on the in the City and their spin off and Summer House. And he knows like he knows both that the audience wants closure. We need conflict, we need resolution. And then he also knows that it's good for all this drama, is good for the two shows that he's on. And so on some level he's probably thinking, like, we need to find some sort of path forward because it's going to be good for all of our careers in these two shows, one of which we're just launching now. Do you get what I mean? But I do think Weston, Amanda will broken up and maybe, like, I don't know, I was trying to figure out, like, what my timeline is. Do I think they'll make it a year? Do I think they'll make it? I don't know. Will they make it a year? Will they make it? What do you guys think? Do you think it's going to be that long that they go. Do you think. I know. Eight months, ten months, a year? Because I think on some level they're going to want to stay together as long as possible just for the show and because they're embarrassed. And I don't think. I don't know how long that'll be. I don't know. But it's. I think it'll at least be eight months. Eight months to a year. That's what I'm guessing. Maybe less, maybe more. How long did Raquel and Tom last? Rachel. Rachel and Sandoval remember, because that was the thing they blew up their lives for. And then what happened to her? She just sort of. What happened to her? Where'd she go? Sierra talks about bragging about this stuff online, though, and she's. This is when she gets in that conversation about, like, Amanda. You knew what you were posting. Amanda's not that dumb. She's a dummy. But like a calculated dummy. Like Wes, I do think is just like a natural dummy. But I do think Amanda has enough sense to her to know that these certain things are wrong or right. And so, you know, I just. I think the big thing with Amanda is, like, she doesn't love herself and she needs to love herself. Girl. Girl. She doesn't. She doesn't. And she needs to love herself. And that's a lesson for us all. We all need to love ourselves. Because if you don't, you get yourselves into these pickles. And this is not a pickle you want to be in. You don't want to screw over your best friends. You don't want to screw over your husband. You don't want to risk it all for a man named West. A man named west is not someone you should be throwing your whole life away for. But unfortunately, she did. She found that scraggly beard man. And she said, I'm gonna throw it all away. I'm setting fire to the rain. Is that a saying? I know that's an Adele song, but is that. I don't even know what that means. What does set fire to the rain mean? I should look that up. I listen to that song a million times. I don't even know what it means. Anyway, let's take a break. I'm gonna look up Set fire to the Rain what that means, because I think they all need to set the fire to the rain and love themselves. I want to thank Acats. We'll be right back. This episode is sponsored by Michael's your destination for all things Birthday parties. I've learned something as a parent which is that kids birthday parties now feel like a full scale event production. When I was growing up, you got a sheet cake, maybe a paper hat and some pizza. Somebody cried near a trampoline and we all went home happy. Now there are themes and balloon arches and custom cups and everybody's on Pinterest trying to make the best birthday party. And honestly, Michaels has made the whole thing so much easier. I didn't realize that Michaels had this huge party section. They've got over 4,500 party supplies and more than 60 themes starting at 99 cents. So whether your kid wants bluey, soccer, rodeo, rainbow, or something super specific they became obsessed with three days ago, they probably have it. And I already love Michaels, but I love that it's a one stop shop for birthday parties, balloons, decor, party supplies, little DIY touches. You don't have to run around town feeling frantic getting everything because you could just go to Michaels and they have it all. They also have same day delivery or buy online pickup in store, which is huge when you inevitably forget something at the last second. They offer free helium inflation for balloons on select styles, which saved me from having a complete breakdown in the parking lot. I genuinely don't think of Michaels as a party destination before this, but now I absolutely do. So visit Michaels in store or shop online now Michael's everything to celebrate anything. Gold Belly has genuinely become one of my favorite gifts to send people. It feels way more personal than just sending someone something random they'll pretend to like. And especially for Father's Day, Gold Belly is the move. Now Gold Belly ships the most iconic foods from the best restaurants across the country straight to your door for free. So you can literally send someone a great barbecue from Texas, deep dish pizza from Chicago, which you know I love, Giant New York pastrami sandwiches so much more. All without anybody getting on a plane or fighting through airport security carrying food. And I was skeptical because I thought, how can food be good when it's shipped like that? But honestly, the quality shocked me. I order for myself here at home, and I also order for gifts. I ordered a barbecue spread. We get the Joe's Barbecue through Gold Belly for dinner. It's so, so good. And I really feel like it becomes a whole event because you start talking about the restaurants you love from around the country, and everyone's gathered around, you feel like you're on Top Chef. The food's incredible. And that's what I love about really, is not just food. It's an experience, especially for dads, who are famously impossible to shop for. I mean, how many grilling gadgets can one man own? But sending something, a food they love from a famous restaurant, that feels really memorable. And they've got everything from iconic local restaurants to meals from chefs like Guy Fieri and so many more. So if you're looking to make dad feel like an absolute legend this father's Day, or just want to impress your friends and family with an epic meal, next time you host, go to goldbelly.com and get free shipping and 20% off your first order with promo code ICONIC. We're back, girl. All right, I did look up the Phrase set fire to the rain. And what it says in Google is that it means doing the impossible or trying to maintain two fundamentally contradictory things at once, Popularized by Adele's hit 2011 power ballad, which I'd like to remind us. I know I talked about Adele last week on the show, but I'd like to remind us that we do need a new Adele power ballad. And I hope she's in the studio and she's getting her ass to work, because if this fall rolls around and I don't have another new Adele ballad, I swear to God I'm gonna lose it. Because we've been through enough as a society, Adele. So if you're listening to this, get your ass to the studio and sing some sort of power ballad for I don't know how old you are. The album coming out better be called, I don't know, 40 or 35 or however the fuck old you are and get your ass to work, because I'm tired of this. I do like that one new. That Toy Story Taylor Swift song I like. Did you guys hear it? I knew it. I knew you. I've been singing that in my head too. It's a problem. But anyway, so they're setting fire to the rain over here on the Summer House, part three of the reunion. There's a montage of Sierra being a good friend to Amanda. And that's the thing that I find that if I was in Sierra's shoes, I'd be the most mad about. Like, you made me look like such an idiot on national tv. Because every fucking episode of this season, Sierra was going up to Amanda and being like, I love you. You're powerful, you're beautiful, you're strong. Get out of this marriage. I'm here for you. You're the best person ever. Like, she's hyping her ass up, as a good friend should and does. But then Amanda didn't reciprocate. Instead, she went and fucked that scraggly beard Yosemite Sam and threw it all away and set fire to the rain or whatever. And so I don't think that's Amanda's. Her response to that whole montage, too, is just like, I did a really shitty thing. And it's like, no shit. No shit. Lock her up. Sorry. No. Andy asks Amanda to speak to Sierra about betraying her, and Amanda's just like, yeah, this has been a really crazy time. And it's like, you don't have any other language. Like, even there are times when Amanda's saying, like, I'm Sorry or I did this bad thing or I shouldn't have done that. And. But there's no, like, emotion behind the words, probably because of the beta blockers, allegedly. I don't know that Amanda Copta taking beta blockers west did later in the episode, but Amanda obviously, I think did too, allegedly. And so it's like, there's no emotion behind any of the words I'm sorry. And so it's like, well, maybe you should have some emotion and then we could accept your apology and move on. But the audience. Nort. Sierra is. Nort. Did I say nort. Nort. Sierra are going to accept your apology if there's no motion behind it. And she's like, well, there were times I didn't eat or sleep because of what I did. And she apologized. But again, there's no. If she had cried saying, like, I didn't eat or sleep, then I might believe it. And they showed Amanda's text this year, too. On March 16, she congratulated her on a red carpet thing. And then on March 26, that was 24 hours, I guess, before the statement was released and she finally came clean about it. But it's like, you had to wait that long. And then also if you were, like, playing in my face because on March 16, if I found out that you were sending me a text message telling me how good I did on the red carpet and then I find out that you were also fucking west at that time, I'd be so livid. Like, don't be playing in my face and telling me nice things are on my text thread. And then I find out you're. You're slob and knob behind my back to people. Liar. Do people say slob and knob? I don't know. People. Do the youth say that. I just had my. We've had family in and out of town this past couple weeks, and I had some. My niece and nephew. My nephews and my niece were here and I was asking them all about, like, the new slang. And they were telling me, like, that six, seven things over, like, that's cringe. And they were. What were they saying? So there was some new slang that they were trying to teach me about. But it's all. I don't understand that the youths, what they're saying now. But I don't know if they're saying slob on my knob anymore. But in my day when I was in middle school and high school, you'd say there was a song even slob on my knob like corn on the cob. That. Do you guys know what I'm talking about? It was like a song slob on my knob. Like corn on the cob. I can't actually go to a barbecue now without thinking of that song. Like, if you serve me a corn on the cob. Remember on the Valley when Brittany hosted a crab boil less than 24 hours before her major surgery? She served corn with it. Yeah. Yeah. I'll never forget that. By the way, if you're not watching the Valley, to me, actually, the whole season was worth it just for the scene where Britney threw a crab boil before her major surgery. I will never forget that. Okay, so then Sierra had. She says Lindsay had to pick her up after on the bathroom floor to do a job because she was so upset and distraught about this news. And then Sierra says Wes is just with Amanda to spite her. And she's right. There's no way they'll last. But Sierra cries over that final scene in the finale episode about her hyping up Amanda. And I would be up about that, too. Meanwhile, Jesse's looking at this moment. He's looking to the sky. I'm sorry to laugh at this. I know you're yelling at me, Danny. He's showing emotion. Jesse Solomon's nice. We like him now. I know people are mad, but there was a time when Sierra is talking about the finale scene and Jesse looks up to the sky like he's looking straight to God. He's looking right up at Mariah Carey. He's looking at our Lord and Savior just looking up to the sky. And he's holding back tears. And he's. I know he's saying a silent prayer, but his eyes are beet red. They look like tomatoes. Just tomatoes in the eye sockets. And he's looking up to the sky and, you know, he's just saying a Hail Mary or whatever. Our Father, he's doing the Stations of the Cross in his seat there, and he's just doing. And I just had to laugh because it was like, Sierra's crying. And I get it. Like, But Kyle wasn't even. There were times, this reunion where Kyle was crying, but, like, at this moment, it was just Sierra crying. And I'm empathetic to her and I appreciate that he was crying on behalf of his friend Sierra, but him looking to the sky was. I was just thinking, like, it's a little dramatic, I think, but. But again, God bless. And I know people. This is not going to be a popular opinion. People are yelling at me, but I get it. But I get it. But I also have to live my truth here on the microphone. So sometimes I like my opinions, and I understand that. I respect that. But if you have the opposite opinion, you know, God bless. Sierra doesn't have regrets because she was said she was being a good friend. And I love this about Sierra. She said I was just being a good friend at the time. So I don't have regrets about being there for Amanda. She didn't want to see a woman lose herself. You should go and love yourself, girl. And she says she didn't. She also talked about how she never saw a healthy marriage. She thinks independence is important, and she wants Amanda to just love herself and get some independence. And the truth is, Kyle brought up Amanda's family, and I hope Amanda's family is stepping in and be like, you need to learn yourself. You shouldn't even be in a relationship with anybody. Like, you got in a relationship with Kyle when you were in your, I think, early 20s, mid. At least mid-20s, early 20s. And then you guys were together for 10 years, and now you're getting out of that. You should not jump into anything. Like, you need to go be on your own, figure out who you are. Because I don't think Amanda ever figured out who she was, and she's certainly not going to figure it out when she's dating Yosemite Sam over there with the scraggly beard. And so you need to. You need to just learn yourself. I keep saying Wes has a scraggly beard, but to be honest, I can't even imagine what it looks like. But it feels scraggly in my head as I'm picturing it. In my head, it seems scraggly. Is it scraggly? I don't know. But then Amanda says she knows she fucked up the incredible friendship she had with Sierra. And she said, I will walk off set today and do a lot of thinking and reflecting and thinking about me, but I cannot say sorry more to you, Sierra, until I'm blue in the face. I truly am sorry. That's what she says. But I'm thinking you're not even near blue in the face like you should. She should be at this reunion looking like a fucking Smurf and be that blue in the face. But instead, she's just saying she's like, I'll apologize till I'm blue in the face. It's like I don't even see not a lick of blue coloring in your face right now, Amanda, because of those beta blockers. And so I'm not buying your. I think this is a bag of bullshit your apology? And then this is when Andy calls on Jesse, and through tears, he's like, I feel like I'm losing a brother. I hope you can somehow prove us wrong, but it doesn't look good. And look, maybe I'm coming around to Jesse Solomon. Maybe I am coming around to him. And because he does feel betrayed by west, and west had him lying, and they were all hanging out together going to the sport. It seems like they ran a lot of sporting events, doesn't it? I didn't realize they got invited so many sporting events. Because every time they show pictures, they're like. Jesse's like, oh, I was with you and the ex at the sporting event, and then they were at the Super Bowl. And this, like, wow. A lot of sporting events going on. I don't Just always. I don't know what. What relevance that has, but I just find that interesting. So then, yeah, he's. Wes said he wanted to be there to apologize and articulate well. He's like, it sucks. I'm. It sucks. He just. That's like, basically all Wes is giving us. It's like, oh, this sucks. Dummy, dummy. And then this is when Andy's like, no offense, but are you on a bunch of beta blockers or something? And I'm so glad Andy asked us. And I think Andy should ask this at every Iranian to all the who take the beta blockers or the Xanaxes or whatever it is. And Casey Wilson, of course. Casey Wilson of Bitch Sesh fame. We love Bitch Sesh, which is now Garbage Sesh. But Casey Wilson's the best. If you don't listen to their podcast, they're fantastic. And our foremothers. They really are. The Bitch Sesh gals are our foremothers in the Bravo podcasting space. But Casey had posted something on Instagram. Being like, we have to do drug tests at the reunions. She's like, it's understandable for all of us to be taking these beta blockers when we need them, but we can't have people showing up to these reunions and taking accountability while they're on beta blockers. And she's right, and she should say it. And I'm glad somebody finally spoke up in the community. And the fact that Andy's asking at the reunion, like, did you take beta blockers? Thank God. We need them to ask this at every reunion, I do believe. And Andy asks Amanda, was it worth it? And Bailey's like. Bailey's whispering to Mia like, please just say no. Like, this wasn't worth it. But instead, she doesn't really answer. And then Andy's like, well, are you two in love? And they're like, well, we haven't used the word yet. And it's like, oh, this is so embarrassing for those two. And it. I found it more frustrating, like, than anything that they were so zoned out because it just felt like we weren't getting anywhere. And I think Lindsay pointed out after they took that break of, like, feels like we didn't get any answers. And even Carl was like, you still want to be friends with. You still want to be with West? Not friends. You still want to be with west after all of this? That's fucking crazy. And Amanda's just like, yeah, I hear you. And it's like, I don't think you do. You need to open up those ears, maybe get some wax in those, baby girl, because you need to get a Q tip before you show up on stage again after the OR during the break, you need to pop on by to the CVS and get a pack of Q tips. And don't pack that wax in further. You want to be careful as you're. As you're dabbing around that ear of yours, because you need to get that wax out and open them up. You're not listening. I don't think you're hearing anything. And you need to. So anyway, Wes says, I. Oh, this was. This was actually the craziest thing I heard at the whole reunion was when west said to Andy, he said, I think if Amanda and I can get back to our early days of our relationship. Early days? What are you talking about? Andy's like, you mean six weeks ago? Like, what the fuck? What the fuck? What the fuck? I mean, he's already tapped out of the relationship. Like, if you're saying, if we can get back to the early days of our relationship, we'll be good when you're six weeks in. Whoo. Not good. Not good. And then Wes says he cares. A lot of people in the room. And I just. I shouted. I was Elle woods in that moment, shouting liar at the screen. Just throwing chocolates at the screen. Because, you know, I'm eating chocolates as I'm watching these shows, getting my See's candy on. Because I saw this post somebody had on social media was like, who eats that See's candy? Who gets See's candy? And I'm like, I do. You know, Like, Mally's is my preferred chocolate tier, Mally's Chocolates, which is in Ohio. But, like, if I Can't order the Malley's online. Then I'm going up to the See's. And I like the Bordeaux from Sees. It's a little too sweet. The See's chocolate. Like, they need to scale back on the sugar. I'm sorry to get make this about See's candy, but I do have a note. I do have a note about the See's. If anyone from the chocolatier factory of Sees is listening to me. It's starting to lean a little chemical. It's starting to lean a little sugary chemical. And I don't believe that's the Cs that I remember from even five years ago. And so I know everything is getting worse just collectively, but I would like C's to go back. Even Reese's just announced they're going back to their original or they're going back to for a different formula because everybody was complaining. So they said in 2027, which I saw this thing about Reese's. I'm getting us off track here. Sorry about that. But I did see this story about Reese's where the. The person who runs Reese's was, like, coming out and saying, oh, I'm gonna. We're getting back to the old formula in 2027. And I'm thinking, we're in 2026, sir. It wasn't. Saw that article. And I'm like, how about you get to the factory, get your ass to the Reese's factory now and start changing the formula. What do you mean you're waiting till 2027, you dumbass? Because I used to love Reese's. Used to be my favorite thing. And then it started tasting like sidewalk chalk. And then everybody complained about it because everybody noticed that Reese's tastes like shit now. And finally, like, all the pushback caused the. Whoever person in charge over there at the peanut butter factory to say, we're going back to the old formula. And he said, oh, in 2027. And I'm thinking, I don't care how much stock you got left, you get your ass to the factory and you start changing the formula now. You mean you can't change it for the. The holiday Reese's that's coming up. Get your lazy ass. These executives, these CEOs, I'm sorry to call them out, but kind of calls it as I sees it. Anyway, See's is still really delicious. I love my See's candy. I'm just saying we got to be careful. I feel like we're on a slippery slope. So anyway, let's take a break here so I can. Maybe I'll go get a chocolate. Who's to say One more quick break and then we'll come back. We got to talk about I had There was a jump scare. I was on this reunion. That's right. My watch what happens live appearance. You could see the back of my or you could see my side view because they showed a clip of Kyle and I was like, whoa, there I am. Anyway, let's take a break. I've been trying to be one of those people who moves more instead of just sitting inside scrolling. And so I've been upgrading my basics with Bombas. And you know, I love my Bombas. It's honestly made a difference. I've been walking a lot more lately and the Bombas sports socks are my favorite. One of those things you don't realize you need until you wear them. They're cushioned in the right spots, they don't slide around. They're sweat wicking, which I love. I can focus on the walk instead of stopping every couple of minutes to adjust my socks in public. And once the boots go away for the season, their warm weather stuff comes back into rotation. I've been wearing the Bombast slides constantly around the house running errands. Just easy to throw on and go. Lightweight, comfortable, supportive. Then there's the underwear and T shirts, which surprise me the most. They're super soft, breathable, and just feel better than the random basics I had before. And I love the mission behind the company too. They cry and Andy's sort of watching Andy's, you know, he's forever. I know sometimes people say, Andy's not good. He's changed, right? He's been doing these so long. Sometimes people say, oh, he's checked out at this reunion, or he's not interested, not invested. But I'll tell you what, I was watching Andy during this break when he saw Kyle and Amanda hug. He looked like he was just starting his career in the Bravo network because it seemed like the joy de viv the that he had in the early days of Bravo. I was watching him look at Kyle and Amanda and he had his producer hat on. He was sort of. He sort of did like a funny stance because he was trying to see both their faces. And I was like, he's more activated than ever. And so whenever somebody says, oh, Andy's checked out, I'm gonna say, how about you go watch part three of the Summer house reunion and see when he just. There was a quick little moment where he saw Kylo man hugging during the break. And he was, he was activated. He was watching it. He was like trying to do kind of like a. He was bending down to see. Like, if you see both their faces, he seemed activated and he seemed invested. And so I just have to point that out. Much like any gay would be on that stage, they'd be looking, oh, I got to check this out. I can make sure I don't miss this. Like, during that break, it wasn't like he went and got a, a Coke Zero or a diet Coke or something backstage. He just was on stage and he didn't leave the stage because he was watching Kellen Amanda because he was activated. And I just had to point that out. I liked it. But Lindsay, as the break ends, she comes out with like a big ass glass of wine. She's just, she's done now. She's checked out. Big ass, big ass glass of wine. Big. I Mean, it wasn't so much wine in there. She was drinking it, but it was like a big glass, wasn't it? It felt spiritually like a big glass. But she brings it on stage and she's like, Andy, I didn't learn anything. There's not a lot of clarity. She points out to Andy. So she's telling Andy to like, do a better job. But I was thinking, andy's doing a good job. It's just Wes and Amanda aren't too many beta blockers. But she's telling Andy like, you need to do better. You know, she's probably half in the bag from that big ass glass of wine. I don't know how much she's had, but she's like, Andy, I didn't learn anything. There's not a lot of clarity going on. She wasn't slurring that much, but I sort of wish she was. She was. She was like a little tipsy. Andy, I'm not learning anything. You needed to do better. You're not asking the right of questions. And so, Andy, I need to know about the timeline. And I don't understand. And I'm not learning. And you know what? I felt the same way as Lindsay. I was like, I don't understand still the timeline. I also feel like they never addressed the leaks. I was like, why didn't we address at the end of the episode, they should have put, remember the audio leaks from the reunion? It's like Andy had said on his radio show that somebody had discovered the leaks or who did the leak. And I was like, couldn't they put a screen on or a word screen on the episode at the end to tell us what happened with that? I don't know. I was frustrated. But Lindsay tells Wes, this whole thing affects their friends, their careers, the entire thing. And this is when Andy's like, well, we have a heart out at seven. He's like, we need to wrap this up. And I love anyone saying they got a heart out. It's like, I have a heart out. And I say that sometimes when I go somewhere, it's like, you go to a party, you go to somewhere. It's like, I have a heart out at 6. And it's like, that means I gotta leave. If I'm not out of here at that time, then everything's. My rest of my week is gonna be ruined. That's how I feel. But Kyle says he just wants things amicable. He wants peace for the show. And this is when they show that. Watch what happens live clip. And it was a me jump scare. And I have to point out my sock. You know, I've been paying attention. I was very purposeful with the outfit that I wore on Watch what Happens Live. But I did get some comments about how I wore socks with the loafers. And I was just. I actually feel like I was in style because I've been noticing a lot of the men, and I'm talking about the fashionable men are wearing the socks with the loafers. And so when I saw myself again, I was like, those look good. Because I feel even since Watch what Happens Live, I've been seeing a lot of these. That guy from that off campus show, Belmont. Did you guys watch that Amazon show off campus? He's like the hot new guy now. The hockey player on that show. I saw him recently in a photo shoot wearing the loafers with the socks, the white socks. I saw the JFK junior guy. That's who I kind of modeled the look after. I saw him in a few different photo shoots and press appearances wearing jeans, white socks, loafers. So all these hot men wearing the socks with loafers. And when I was on Watch It Up Inside, I got a lot of people reaching out, like, I don't know about those socks. Even my mother. My mother was saying, dan, I don't know. I don't know about those socks. Stan, I don't know about those socks. And so I just want to point out that they're in style. And so if you saw me in that, that side view on this part of the reunion and you notice those and you clocked those socks, I just have to point out they are stylish and they were nice socks. They weren't like gym socks. They were polo. So anyway, just have to defend my fucking socks with the loafers because I heard, I heard it from upwards of three people about them. Anyway, Kyle just wants Amanda happy. Sierra says it was cathartic to drag Amanda and Wes at this reunion and she's gonna move on with her life and good. She also raised 160,000 for Girl Scout troop 6000, which is amazing. I. The chills when they said that. Get the chills. Love the Girl Scouts. Love the Girl Scout cookies. God bless them for formulating cookies that we could all enjoy every spring. And the thin Mints, they all cheers with the Thin Men. And I like that, you know, they always bring out something and I know they're all like, it's always a stretch, every reunion for these shows because they got to bring out a specialty cocktail that's somehow related to the season. Or they bring out. They're like, oh, we're in honor of the trip, we're bringing out lemon drop shots. Because you went somewhere with lemons. You know, like, they always have to find some tide of the season for what they bring out. And I thought thin mints was a nice. Instead of bringing out like a specialty cocktail or something, it was like, yeah, let's. Let's cheers with some thin mints. And to be honest with you, I wish I would go more places where they cheers with thin mints because I love a thin mint. And I would love it if somebody was like, we're gonna celebrate and everybody grab a thin mint, hold it up in the air, and cheers, say a nice speech. Sometimes I don't want a cocktail. I just want a thin mint or a nice Samoa. Is that what they're called? The samosas? Samoa? I don't know. I like all the. I like all of the girl scout cookies. I do. But the thin mints, throw those suckers in the freezer, eat them cold. Let me tell you something, that's the spot. I also like those peanut butter ones, the tagalongs. I don't love the other peanut butter ones. Like, if I was ranking, I'd say thin mint, then the Tagalongs, then the coconut samosas or Samoas. What are they called? And then maybe like the. The trefoils. Do you know what those ones are? And then there's some at the bottom rung. I always feel like those limited ones, you know, the ones where they're like, this is the new flavor. Those are always. Usually the worst. In my experience. They did a s' more one that was really bad, I'm sorry to say. Girl scouts. Like, I hate to throw you under the bus, but you know what? I'm sorry if I threw See's candy under the bus. I gotta cause it as I seize it. The people want honesty. They want opinions, they want honesty. And so I gotta live my truth. And so, unfortunately, when you guys introduce those new ones, you gals need to get back to the drawing board there, you know? But I'm happy that Sierra raised all this money for girl scouts. And you should always support the troops. So anytime you are going somewhere and you see those girl scouts with the table, you need to dig out your wallet. And I know the boxes are getting outrageously expensive, but you need to dig out your wallet and support the gals. You need to support the troops and the gals. And so I'm sorry if you don't if you don't like a thin Mint, I don't fucking care. You need to get to troop whatever and order some. Order some. Or if somebody comes to your door, I don't care if you don't want them. If they knock on that door, you order whatever. You buy some Thin Mints, you just do and send them my way if you don't want them. You know, or there's things you could do with them, too. You can cook. You can make so many dessert things. You could make a pie crust with a thin mint. Have you ever done that? You basically like. You mallet them and then you mix them with some butter and make a nice thin mint pie crust, you know? Or like I said, throw them in the freezer. They not only do, they keep, but you could just take one and eat them out like that. Eat them out. I shouldn't say eat them out like that. Whoops. Anyway, you should go and love yourself. Okay, so then Andy ends the reunion by saying, this season was so fun to watch, but this reunion was tough. And then he saluted all the newbies, but even though some of the newbies weren't even there, like, Sabrina wasn't there. Levi wasn't there. I thought Sabrina was going to be at the reunion. Why didn't she? We had Dara the Explorer, but where was Sabrina at? Sabrina the teenage witch should have been there, not Melissa Joan Fart. I'm talking about Sabrina, Ben's girlfriend. Okay? A lot of people keep asking me too. Every time I mention Melissa Drone Fart. You know, she's my arch nemesis and she knows what she did. But a lot of people reach out and ask, like, what happened? You know, new listeners of the podcast or people who are new to everything iconic, they're like, what happened with you and Melissa Joan Fart? And unfortunately, I'm not at liberty to discuss that anymore. You know, she knows what she did, and so that's all. I'll leave you with that. But I will not answer anymore than that. But actually, nothing actually there. It's just sort of a joke. But. But also, she knows what she did. Okay, so then Andy says, for more with Summer House, click around bravo tv.com and then it ended really abruptly. I felt like we didn't even have a moment. All the other parts of the reunion were expanded, supersized. And normally they end the reunions where it's like we see them walking off stage or whatever. But I felt like this ended too abruptly. I didn't like it. And I was like, is this Mike, did the. Did the advanced screener copy. Like, did it just cut off earlier or something? And, like, I missed something because I felt like it should have ended. We should have saw them walking off stage or getting to their cars and, like, a little bit more. Especially something that was so intense in this whole three part every. For the other two parts to be so extended and super size, and then this one to just end up rope play, I was like, what's going on over there? Bravo hq. They need to go back to the editing room and give us some more footage. Because I was. I needed more. Even though I'm exhausted and ready for the season to be over, I'm like, I need a little more. Is. Are they gonna do next week? Like, one of those shit. They should have shown episodes? I hope they do. But also, I'm done with it. Then in the City, you guys. I don't have a lot of thoughts about in the City other than I'm. I'm tired and exhausted, and I wasn't even sure if I was gonna get to the recaps this week. And so this is basically like a bonus recap because again, with family and friends in and out of town and everything, and still people are here this week, and we have a lot of other stuff going on. And so I didn't even know if I get to the recap, but I did watch in the City, and I'm just. I'm not. I'm not. I'm not. I'm kind of not feeling it. I'm sorry to say that. Is that. Is that I'm not having fun. This is not fun. Summer should be fine. Just not loving. I don't feel like. Like the big drama this week was Andrea and Kenny, and I just. Andrea's too sweet and handsome. That, like, I don't even want to see him fighting. Like, it doesn't even feel. I don't know. He's like a nice gem of a man. I don't find him. Lindsay was like, oh, he's real passionate. And I was like, actually, like, he just seems nice. Like, I don't even feel like he's wants to fight or is interested in fighting. And he was, like, sort of trying to fight with that Kenny guy who's obviously the villain of the show, but I need him to either be more villainous or not be the villain. And then Lindsay with that country crooner. I don't know. I feel like Lindsay's just dating for the show. Like, I don't even. They were, like, trying it Felt like they were trying to show chemistry. And in my head, like, my theory is like they were, they're sort of friends. And she said he was supposed to perform at her and Carl's wedding, that Dustin lynch guy. And I'm like, I don't even. I feel like they were just friends. And Lindsay's like, why don't you come on the show? And he's a musician, so he's probably thinking, great, I'll appear on the show. I won't really get in the mix much, but it'll be good for the. He could promote the music, whatever. And Lindsay's like, this will be good for the show because he's a well known person. It doesn't even feel, none of that feels real to me. And I know they're trying to make it seen it. And she said she's got a roster and she's trying to date, but I don't even think she wants to date. I think she's just. It's all feels made up to me. I don't know. The thing that was interesting about in the City this week was like Amanda making all those rules with Kyle and saying like, we're still together and we need to be together three nights a week. And then even with the keys, I found that sketchy. Like, you have a key but I don't have a key or I don't have a key, whatever. Who has the key? She said she'll have the key. Kyle's like, well, so you're just gonna come in the house whenever you want, but like you're signing a year long lease. And then she was like taking all the stuff. She's like, I'm taking the paper towel thing, the dishes and stuff. And I was like, this is fucked up. And then even when Kyle was like, are you wearing your wedding ring? She said, no, but I'm not wearing any jewelry. And this was, I had confronted her about this at, at Bravocon. Remember when I interviewed her and I was like, there's reports about you not wearing a ring. She's like, I don't always wear my ring. You know, I just, I'm not wearing, I don't always wear it. It's. I often don't wear it. And it's like, I think you're being purposeful, especially because at this point I think she was with West. I don't know when, what was the timeline of this? I don't know. I wish we had a date on screen. But I do feel like she was emotionally with west at this Time. And so all that stuff about not wearing the ring, I don't. I don't buy it when it comes out of Amanda. I don't buy the not wearing the wedding ring thing. I know there's some people. I know people who say they don't wear the wedding ring when they work out, because whatever. Or they. I even know some women who are like, well, if I'm wearing silver jewelry, I don't want to wear the gold ring or something. But I don't know. Like, I don't know. There's certain times when somebody could tell you they don't always wear their wedding ring where you're like, okay, I bless. I believe it. But someone like Amanda, I don't believe it. I just feel like. I don't know. I don't trust anything she says. I don't trust her. Girl. Girl liar. Anyway, that's the end of the episode. Thank you all so much for listening. I'm gonna try to be back with some sort of Valley thoughts this week, but again, I don't know, we're gonna do our best to get to that recap or maybe. And we're gonna do our best. A lot going on this week, and then hopefully by next week, everything in Casa de Pellegrino will be a little bit more settled and easier to get to all the recaps in full. But I keep saying that, and I'll probably have all the normal episodes you guys always expect out of me. So there you go. Anyway, find me on social media, anypellegrino. In this episode, Danny Pellegrino recaps the dramatic conclusion of the three-part Summer House reunion. Danny dives into the cast’s emotional highs and lows, unresolved tensions, and messy timelines, offering his signature blend of sharp pop culture analysis and biting, affectionate humor. The discussion centers on the fallout from Amanda and West’s relationship, the emotional responses from peripheral cast members, and the future of the Summer House friend group and franchise.
“Pull it together, Jesse Solomon. That’s so mean of me, I know...”
Danny Pellegrino, (05:12)

Danny Pellegrino, (13:46)
“It’s not an accident if you’re trying to throw some shade on Instagram stories…”
Danny Pellegrino, (12:15)
“I didn’t learn anything, there’s not a lot of clarity…Lindsay points out to Andy. So she’s telling Andy to do a better job. But I was thinking, Andy’s doing a good job. It’s just Wes and Amanda—too many beta blockers.”
Danny Pellegrino about Lindsay’s feedback, (48:28)
“He looked like he was just starting his career in the Bravo network…he was activated…”
Danny Pellegrino, (47:01)
“I have to defend my socks with the loafers because I heard it from upwards of three people…”

Danny Pellegrino, (54:53)
“All the other parts of the reunion were expanded, supersized…this ended too abruptly. I didn’t like it.”
Danny Pellegrino, (56:17)
Danny masterfully balances humor and empathy as he eviscerates the Summer House reunion’s shortcomings—questioning production decisions, challenging the cast’s evasions, and providing catharsis for viewers who also feel whiplashed by the drama. His frank talk about emotional maturity, authenticity, and “loving yourself” serves both as social commentary and affectionate fan therapy.
