She's like, you drink too much. And Jasmine, she's like, britney pops off. Britney gets a certain way when she's not talking about people getting drunk and people popping off. Kristen said that. Wait, I'm gonna cry back. She's willing to defend him so hard. She's willing to throw you, Jasmine, and Zach under the bus. I've been trying to, like, support her always. I'm not even there. Why am I being thrown into this conversation? I'm not even there. Hello, everyone, and welcome to Everything Iconic with me, Dani Pellegrino. That was a clip from this week's episode of the Valley. So much chaos going on this week here in our Mexico vacation that they're all on to celebrate everybody's birthday, despite the fact that nobody likes each other. I mean, there were so many just different layers to this episode. And I actually, this might not be a popular opinion because I know I'm hearing from a lot of people, they're like, I can't do the Valley. I hate the Valley. And look, week to week, I changed. This week in particular, I did, like the chaos of the Valley. It was just maybe something I was in the mood for. I was laughing so hard at Schwartz, the makeup that he used for Zach's birthday party where he was supposed to be in his hoe era. And then he just put all that white makeup on and see through, see through blouse and a choker inexplicably. And he kept walking around with that blow pop in his mouth. But I was laughing so hard because it started the night where he looked like Jack Nicholson's version of the Joker. And then it ended where he had, like, you know, Jack Nicholson's Joker from Batman had, like, pretty good makeup, and it was, like, really bright. And then by the end of it, he looked like Heath Ledger's Joker, where the makeup was, like, all smeared and it was, like, coming off on his clothes and he just was, like, falling asleep on the bus. And so to me, that was like the sleeper of the whole episode was just, like watching Schwartz in the background and his makeup smearing and then in the blouse in a See through blouse. Oh, it's cracking up. And it also doesn't make any sense why he's there. Like, I don't understand because before the season started, I was like, excited about Schwartz joining this group and I thought lala shouldn't be joining this group. And now I feel the opposite of like, Lala seems to make sense in this show and Schwartz doesn't seem to make sense to me. But I don't want him gone because I just. That was enough. He earned his paycheck this week by just being in the background lurking around like the Babadook and the in the Joker makeup. Oh, I was laughing. I was laughing so hard. We opened this week, though, with Janet, Remember, she had the fight with everybody. They're out, bar crawling. So before we even celebrate Zach's birthday, which again, was just so chaotic because he got shit on by a bird and then hit his head. And I was. Oh, I was also really laughing when he said, oh, my God, a bird shit on me. Okay, we'll get there. Anyway, we open with that fight from last week where they were doing the bar crawl and Janet and Nia were arguing with. Jesse's there, Michelle's there. Who else was there? Schwartz was there. Janet's on the phone with Jason. She's like, it's too much. It's too much. And then Nia's sitting at the table and she's like, she's crying from self induced things. She put herself in this position. And the truth is Nia put us all in this position by marrying that man, Daniel. And I want to say this because I've been getting a lot of messages, people saying I'm people who are fans of Nia and Daniel. I get it. Everybody has their people that they like on these shows. But I'm here to tell you now, I don't want to hear if you are a big fan of Daniel and Nia and you don't want me to hear. Want to hear me criticize them on the show, then please turn this podcast episode off. I don't want to yuck anyone's yum. I don't want you to listen to something you don't want to hear. Because I'm getting messages from people saying, like, you need to stop being so hard on Danny and Nia. And I'm probably going to be harder on Danny and Nia because he was infuriating me today on the bus when he was yelling at his wife for digging the nails in and they were annoying me. And so I just. This is A public service announcement. Do not reach out to me and say, I'm too hard on Danny and Nia and you hate Jan or whatever. If that's the case, please turn this podcast episode off and go listen to other podcasts. There's so many great ones out there that maybe you'll find one that you like. And so I'm not trying to turn people off of my podcast. I just understand that I don't like to listen to things when people are criticizing people I like on tv. And so I understand that. So just maybe move on, because I'm unfortunately going to criticize Daniel and Nia because they were infuriating me. And one of the things that I have to point out, the hypocrisy that I'm noticing with Danny and Nia, is that Nia says that early on in this episode, they're saying, janet's running away from the table, which we've also criticized on this podcast. Janet needs to stop running away from these fights. She needs to stop leaving the table, because this is a reality show. So, unfortunately, when you're in a scene, you gotta sit in the scene. However, the hypocrisy that I wanna point out is that Nia is constantly dragging Daniel away from the scenes. And so it's happening with them, too, because it may not be Daniel leaving the scenes on his own accord, which he maybe should do, but it's always Nia saying, like, daniel, you gotta leave. Daniel, stop doing that. Daniel, don't do this. They don't want to see you doing that. And she's always pulling him out of the scenes. So it's like, there's no leg to stand on when it comes to Janet leaving the scenes. Because Daniel and Nia are also leaving scenes or always have an excuse they gotta go with the baby or whatever. It's like, okay, so they're leaving scenes too. Okay. It's happening on both ends. Anyway. Janet has. She's sort of being vulnerable in this episode and saying that this stuff with Danny and he is bringing up stuff she can't say, which I still don't think we completely know. Maybe we'll get into that next week. It seems like maybe in the previews for next week that we get into that. But as of now, she's saying it's bringing up stuff I can't talk about or I didn't want to talk about. And Tom Schwartz comes over and consoles her as she's crying on the phone. This is when Jesse says Janet just walks away, which, again, is true. Michaela, one of the producers, goes to Janet, and Janet's like, look, I have a hard time with all of this. And meanwhile, at the table, Michelle, who keeps sticking up for Janet, is like, look, everybody has a problem with Danny now. Nia set the table and says Jesse made people feel uncomfortable in Santa Barbara. And they show the footage. She's like, nobody was talking about that. She's like, people just forgot about that. And they flashback to the footage of Jesse in Santa Barbara, which famously, with that famous Santa Barbara trip, he got in a fight with Michelle. And didn't he call her a stripper or something? I don't quite remember, but that was at the winery. The point is, the flashback footage they're talking about that Nia's referencing is him on the bus. He puts his head in Zach's lap, and Zach's like, oh, look where your head is. You know, that's all he says. And then he's grinding on Jason. And again, I was just getting annoyed because I was like, that's not the same thing. Like, Jason and Zach aren't saying to the group that Jesse made them uncomfortable on that Santa Barbara bus. Right? Like, that's the big difference. It's like, I get so infuriating because it feels very clear to me that it's like, this is Nia's way to be like, oh, look at them. Look at Brittany's doing that. Jesse's making people uncomfortable. It's like, no, they're not making. Britney didn't make people feel uncomfortable when she was drunk. She just got drunk. And Jessie, yes, he was dancing on the bus and grinding on someone. But did they get uncomfortable by it? I didn't hear, not once from Zach or. Or Jason that they were uncomfortable by Jesse's drinking in the Santa Barbara bus. And so that's the big difference. And I feel like I'm going crazy. It makes me mad because I'm like, here's the thing. She knows better. She's not a dummy. She's very smart. She seems very. Obviously, she's a pageant gal, beautiful gal, stunning, stunningly gorgeous, but she's not a dummy. And so I'm not gonna act like she's a dummy. She knows exactly what she's doing. She's being very smart about how she's presenting herself in the confessional on camera. Just. It's false equivalencies. Jesse didn't make people feel uncomfortable. And I feel like she keeps constantly saying, well, the rest of the group drinks or the rest. And it's like that's the big difference. And she knows that. She knows that she's just trying to trick us all because she wants to cover for her husband. And that's the other thing that's PM me owing is the fact that I don't know if you guys know this, but Daniel was supposed to be on Watch what Happens Live a while back, and he canceled appearance at the last minute. And speculation was that he didn't want to have to confront these episodes. And Andy, of course, would have grilled him on questions and all that kind of stuff. And he said he had a job, he booked another job. He couldn't do it. But he hasn't been on Watch what Happens Live since. And my take on it was that they're probably pissed at him because he canceled at the last minute and he's such a centerpiece of this show. I would imagine that the Watch what Happens Live team really wants him on Watch what Happens Live to talk about all this stuff that's going on because he's such a centerpiece of the Valley. And instead, I think it was maybe last week Nia was on Watch what Happens Live and Nia had to go and defend her husband and, like, answer for all her husband's misdoings. And I'm not saying that she's innocent in all of this, but it's like she's constantly having to answer for her husband who keeps being the menace on the show. And it's like really frustrating because it's like he should have been on Watch what Happens Live answering for the behavior. And she was doing press and I saw her on Us Weekly and all these other places, and it's like she's doing press to have to give excuses for her husband. And then the husband's hiding out and I'm just sick of it. Anyway, she's beautiful, stunning gal. And again, that's why I said turn this podcast off. If you're a big fan of Nia and Daniel, please go be fans of them. I don't want to yuck your yum. I love you guys. And we're just trying to have some fun, some laughs. But unfortunately, I got to point it out, I got to calls it as a season. And so Nia says that Jesse lick Jason's face, but Jason didn't bring it up once, at least to our knowledge. I'm just going off what's the show? Maybe behind the scenes, Jason at the Santa Barbara trip was saying, oh, Jesse made him really uncomfortable. Maybe that happened. And that's what Nia's referring to. But as the audience members, I never once heard that Jason or Zach. The only thing Zach said was like, oh, look where your head's at. You know, like, my Zach impression maybe needs work. A bird shit on me. Ah, Zach. Poor Zach's birthday got shit on by the bird, which they do say is good luck. I don't know if it's good luck on your birthday. I'd assume it's good luck. But we've all been shit on by a bird. Who amongst us hasn't? Unfortunately, it happened to him on his birthday, and then he got hit in the head. But you know what? He kept on going. And that's actually. That's a good lesson to us all and for Nia and Daniel, too. You got to keep moving forward, keep going forward and try to learn from your mistakes and grow and. And enter the room with positivity in the way that Zach did. And so, you know, things happen. You get shit on by birds, and you get hit in the head and might have to go to Mexican hospital to get stitches, but you gotta keep moving forward and show up to the bar with a smile on your face, wrap around your neck, and keep drinking and giving the strippers some Applebee's gift cards. Wasn't that a. Wait, did you guys hear that reveal? I hate to jump around, but there was. Zach did tell the story of Tom Schwartz giving a stripper. Instead of putting money in the stripper's banana hammock, Schwartz just put an Applebee's gift card. It was a quick little moment. I don't know if you guys caught that, but it was very important to me, and I love the idea of giving a Go Go boy an Applebee's gift card. And I'm sure that stripper probably liked it. However, you know, maybe the stripper didn't like it, because I'm thinking about this. I think they said it happened at the Abbey in West Hollywood, and there's not an Applebee's nearby. And so, you know what? Unfortunately, I'm gonna have to side with. This wasn't a good idea, because that's not a chain that's really omnipresent here in California in Los Angeles. And so I'm sure there are Applebee's somewhere, but it's not a Cheesecake Factory. You can throw a stone and hit a Cheesecake Factory, which I don't know if you guys are paying attention, but Cheesecake Factory's been going viral lately, and I've been seeing it, and so we got it recently. And it was delicious. It was the chicken Romano. I had that. Oh, did get the pineapple upside down cheesecake from Cheesecake Factory, which is not something that I would normally get. But do you remember on the podcast, we were talking somebody on one of these shows, I forget when, had made a pineapple upside down cake. And we had talked about it. So then when we ordered the cheesecake, we went over to the Cheesecake Factory. I saw that on the menu and I thought, you know what? Pineapple upside down cake. We were just talking about it. It's sort of been out of fashion. And I asked the server, I said, how's the pineapple upside down cheesecake? And she. The gal says, one of my favorites. And I said, give me one of those. And I took it home with me. I didn't eat it at. There at the restaurant. Took it home for me, and I had it that evening. And when I tell you guys, it was so fucking good. If you're looking for a new. And it's again, not something I would normally get. Normally I'd get the Oreo Dream cheesecake. I'd get the peanut butter one with the Adam, whoever that Adam fella is that got the. The peanut butter cheesecake at the Cheesecake Factory. I'd get that one. So it's not something I normally get. And I got it. And it's sort of like a cake mixed with the cheesecake. Oh, you guys, you need to go get yourself that. Anyway, back to the stripper that Schwartz gave an Applebee's gift card to. Unfortunately, there aren't a lot of Applebee's around here, and so maybe he should have gotten a gift card somewhere else. A Buffalo Wild Wings, Cheesecake Factory, Olive Garden somewhere in Burbank. There's lots of chain restaurants there. Maybe a Panda Express. They have those that you could go to the mall and, I don't know, something else. Schwartz. It's not unacceptable. If you're enjoying the dancing, if you're in the dancery, enjoying the dancing styles of a gogo boy, then you need to give a different kind of gift card that he can go spend, because what's he gonna do? He's got to go out of town. What's he going to take a trip to use his Applebee's gift card? I don't think so. It's more expensive to take a plane ride out of Los Angeles so you can spend the Applebee's gift card instead. Give him a Chili's gift card. He'd go get a triple dipper over An Encino. And he'll be good to go. So that's. Anyway, where were we? We talking Danny and Jason. Danny and Nia, Jason. Anyway, back at the pool at the hotel, Zach reveals that his pedicurus thinks he's got a fungus. But it's just a spray tan, You guys. Everything about when you really take the notes, I mean, it was so funny to me because a lot of the information we were getting from this episode, it was really. I don't know how to say this without. I don't mean to be offensive, but it was all like, a lot of like low budget information we were getting. And when I think of the Bravo network and how it started, it was like the Arts Channel. Do you remember before I'm talking Pre Housewives even, it was the Arts Network. So you turn it on and there'd be some like a guy playing a saxophone and some jazz dancers, ballet show. And then they'd have Inside the Actors Studio. It was like the artsy network. Okay. Then they branched off into Housewives and it was behind the gates of Cota Dacaza, these rich, rich gals who are married and whatever. And then it just kept evolving and now we're just like learning about Zack's fungus. He gets shit on by a bird and Brittany's drinking on her drains. And it's just so funny to me like, that we've devolved the form so much. And I love it, by the way. I was loving this week's episode of the Valley. Unfortunately, I was. Even though I got annoyed. Mostly I just got annoyed at Danny and Neil when Danny was yelling at Nia for digging the nails in later in the bus, which we'll get to, that was like, where I really lost it. Anyway, Zach telling us that the pedicurus thinks he's got a fungus, but it's just a spray tan. It was like that little nugget of information just gets like breeze past and then Lacy arrives. And I was happy to see Lacy. And unfortunately, I don't think Lacy cares for Jesse at all. But I. She is a breath of fresh air to me on this show because she's. She's giving her opinion in a very honest way. And I don't know, I just find her refreshing. She doesn't seem to have loyalty to anyone other than everyone besides Jesse. So it's like she's not even. She's not even taken up for Jesse's fight. So when Jesse's like giving Britney a hard time, Lacy's like, why are you going after Britney So hard. And it's like, yeah, we need that from. We need someone to say that. Meanwhile, Britney, Luke, and Lala are putting turtles into the ocean. And I don't know if anyone saw in Brittany's Instagram stories. She tried to, I think, like, rescue a paralyzed possum. I don't know if anyone saw this on her Instagram stories. And I saw, like, the second half of it, so I can't even fully explain, but I guess from, like, what I saw, this is not gonna make any sense. I probably shouldn't even tell this story, but I was on my Instagram and, you know, click on the story. So I was, like. I was waiting somewhere. I think it was at a CVS or something. I was, like, waiting for something, and I'm, like, hitting the stories, watching people's stories. And so I caught, like, the second half of this saga. But I guess, like, Brittany, there was a possum in her shower or something, and then she took her to the vet, and her and Kristin went to the vet, and then they went to the vet, and I guess the possum was paralyzed or something. I don't know. But it made me sad. I don't like to see any sort of animal in danger. Wait, I'm gonna cry. I'm gonna cry. I'm gonna cry. When she did that lip quiver, it made me sad. But they put all the turtles into the ocean on the show. And then Jesse and Michelle shop for Isabella. They got chemistry. They got chemistry. Schwartz says he's looking for some Cialis. Okay, okay, okay. Schwartz is looking for Cialis before he's putting on his blouse and his. What is going on with Schwartz? Is it. Do you think. Can we. Can we call it. Can we call it a midlife crisis? What's midlife these days? Am I in midlife? Is it 40? Is it 40 and up? Is it 50 and up? What is. What's our midlife? What are we. How old is Schwartz? He's got to be at 44 or something, I think they said on the show. Is that a. Is that when they need the Cialis? Is that when the fellas need the Cialis? Cialis is the boner med. Right? I should look this up. I'm gonna look this up. I'm sorry to take our time here, but I do need it because it was, like, a quick little moment. He's like, I need the Cialis, and I know he's got the young gal. It's a medic. Yeah, it is. It's Ed meds and Look, I worry about Schwartz's erectile dysfunction because we did actually know a little bit about it from Katie Maloney. Remember on Vanderpump Rules, she had sort of alluded to this. And now he's in Mexico looking for Cialis. He's got the young gal girlfriend. And, I mean, of course, last week they reminded us of his anal fissures as well. And so anyway, I worry about his. His lower half, I guess, all of it. But I hope it's well. And I hope he found some good Cialis to bring home. What's her name, the girlfriend. I hope he did. And may God bless him. Okay, Michelle and Jesse again, they're in a good mood. They have good energy between them. She says it's awkward to see him be affectionate with Lacy because he wasn't with her. This made me sad. And Jesse said he felt that when Michelle was dating Aaron and they were both getting so vulnerable, and I felt I understood both of their points of view. And Michelle's like, just please don't do it in front of my face. And Jesse's like, well, I'll try not to. And it just felt like a. I don't know. I'm loving Michelle this season. And I also loved this connection. I thought Jesse was. Seemed very mature, and he was trying to explain, like, I had to see that with Aaron. And it was a quick little moment, but it made me sad. It made me sad. I'm gonna cry. Wait, I'm gonna cry. I'm gonna cry. Wait, I'm gonna cry. Wait, I'm gonna cry. I'm gonna cry. Brittany, did that lip quiver? Ugh. Then the group goes to the beach. Jesse can't get in the ocean because his capris, unfortunately, he can't even do the capris. The capri. I love this show. The capris that Jesse's wearing, he didn't want to get them wet, so. But Kristen rips off her blouse and gets the bubbies out. And she goes in, and Nia is going to get some coconuts. And she's like, I thought I was getting adventurous by getting us coconuts. And here they are taking off their tops. And then Michelle goes toplets, too. And Janet's all horned up. She's like, look at. Janet's all horned up by seeing Michelle's puppies because she just wants to fuck her. Excuse my language, but Janet keeps telling us every episode now she's like, look at Michelle. Look at her. Like, she's. That's the most. I'm getting, like, more sexual energy out of Janet looking at Michelle this season than I am at Schwartz, who's got the young Victoria's Secret model. Is she a Victoria's Secret model? The young model girlfriend. But Janet, every time she sees Michelle, It's not actually bark. That sounded like a bark. I didn't mean it to be a bark. But, you know, Janet's just looking at Michelle and she's like, woo. Look at her. And good for Michelle going topless. And Jesse said something about Michelle. She's like, I. We went to Capri and she wasn't getting topless. Meanwhile, Schwartz is, like, trying to not look at the bubbies. And it's like, I don't think anyone has to worry with Schwartz. Like, unless you took that Cialis. Like, you can look at all the bubbies all you want. If I was your girlfriend, I'd say, look at all the bubbies because you're fine. Unless you did take one of those Cialis you found at the In. In the streets of Mexico, then do it. But, you know, otherwise. Then we cut to Jesse and Lacy. Lacy, right when she sees Jesse in the hotel room, she calls him old, which made me laugh. And Lacy, they talk about Janet running away from the table. And Lacey's like, did Janet play track and field when she was in school? Lacy's a star, you guys. I don't. I wasn't expecting to say that, but I do think Lacy's a star. And this is when she tells Jesse to stop. She says, get off the Britney train. Get off the Britney train. I love Lacey. I do. I do. Let's take a break here. We got so much more to discuss. And then I want to thank Acast and we'll be right back. The summer sun is out, and I'm already thinking about travel, family visits, trying to squeeze in a little vacation time. I've been really into nesting lately, getting the home together and it's really overwhelming and sometimes the things that I care about, things like durability, comfort and whether a piece of furniture can survive being climbed on by a tiny human. I think that's one of the reasons why I've been loving articles so much. They make it really easy to create a stylish home without spending weeks scrolling through a million options. And their pieces have that clean, elevated look I'm always drawn to. A little bit modern, kind of timeless, and everything feels thoughtfully designed. And one thing I noticed right away was the quality. When an article piece arrives you can feel the difference. The packaging is great, assembly is minimal, and everything feels sturdy and well made so it'll withstand a little toddler running around it. And you know when you get furniture delivered and immediately think oh this is nicer than expected. That's been my experience with article, which I think is great. Even got some fantastic outdoor furniture. You know, I've been redoing our backyard and got some fantastic outdoor couches from Article that I love and I appreciate that their collections work together. I was thinking recently about the pets I had growing up. There was always some sort of animal running around, and even though especially our dog drove us crazy sometimes they're really part of the family. You worry about them, you celebrate the little victories they have, and you do about anything to keep them happy and healthy. So today's episode is sponsored by the ASPCA Pet Health Insurance Program. Now, if you've ever owned a pet, you know they run their own logic. They jump first, think later, ask questions never. It's part of what makes them so lovable, but it's also how you end up with surprise vet visits that you didn't see coming. That's why ASPCA Pet Health Insurance helps cover eligible vet expenses. So when those moments happen, you can focus on getting your pet the care they may need instead of stressing over the cost. All right, Speaking of Sally Field, you know when I watch something that I like and I sort of low key become obsessed with it for a minute, that just happened to me this week. I watched that Remarkably Bright Creatures with Sally Field where she friends a squid or octopus and she learns life lessons and there's really everything in it. I mean, it's sort of like a reverse Mamma Mia. Because it's like Sally Field falling in love with three different people and it's like one of them's a young man. One of them's, she has sort of like an older love interest who's friends with the other young man. And then she also falls in love with this octopus and, and learns life lessons. She live, laughs, love. And I don't know, I guess it's based on a book. I did not read the book, but I just have to recommend it because it was like heartbreaking and heartwarming. It's like one of those tear jerkers. But like, I don't know, I just needed it. It was like one of those things that I needed. And I, I had heard it was good, but it felt like almost like a movie they would have made in the 90s. Like it had the energy of Stepmom, which, you know, is one of my all time favorite movies. But it's not Stepmom. It's a totally different plot, but it kind of had that energy. And also had like a beautiful house that she lived in which was like pertinent to the story. And then this octopus, I fell in love with the octopus. I don't know, I just thought it was like so excellent and I've been starved for good stuff lately. And I don't know, I'm in that space where I Can't really. I love horror movies, but I can't watch them at the moment. I'm just not in that space. Maybe once Halloween starts coming around, I can go back because I do love a horror movie. And so I've been dying to see, like, obsessions and there's a few of them that I want to see. But I, yeah, was just craving something that was like heartbreaking, heartwarming, dramatic, but had some laughs. And was it also kind of colorful? Which I feel like a lot of movies feel so gray to me now because, like the way that they colorized photos or movies now, everything's kind of got like a grayish filter on. I don't know if you noticed that, but I felt like there was. They had like bright costumes and I don't know, I loved it. So anyway, that's my public service announcements. Go watch Sally Field. Sally Field in Remarkably Bright Creatures. Okay, where were we at here? Lacey arrived, talked about that. And then when all their group starts coming back to the hotel, Janet, Lala, Brittany, Michelle, Jasmine and Melissa all gather and Janet throws Kristen on the bus and says, kristen said, what about when Britney drinks? You know, and this one, Britney's like, wait, I'm gonna cry. Wait, I'm gonna cry. Wait, I'm gonna cry. I've been trying to support her always. I always have her back. And then they all say Jasmine's like, Kristen doesn't even hang out with Nia. And Brittany's like, yeah, I told her that. And we all know that. And seems like the group is all saying Janet says Kristen's on payroll. But look, I don't know the truth, but it seems like the whole group is saying like, Kristen and Nia aren't friends. And they've also made allegations in the previous weeks, which we've talked about is like that they just have an alliance on the show. And it feels like that at least as the audience member, it does feel like that. But you know, my sort of hope and I don't know that this is what's gonna happen, but I hope that maybe by like the reunion, Kristen will have seen the episodes and maybe she'll be like, oh, yeah, like Nia and Daniel were kind of terrors. But because most of the time it does sort of feel like Kristen's not around. And lest I remind us all that like Kristen, I hate to like take up for her so much, but she also is dealing with the four month old and postpartum. So like, I don't think she's so concerned with like, what the fuck Danny and me are doing? Like, she's. She's like, in it with Luke. She's got the baby, and she's just, like, hanging on by a very thin thread. And I get that as a new dad, around the same time, it's like, at four months, like, I was hanging on by a thread. And so I wasn't necessarily concerned with other people. I was, like, just trying to survive. And so maybe Kristen, by that time of the reunion, she will watch the episodes and be like, oh, yeah. And she'll maybe call out Danny and. Yeah. On their bullshit. Or maybe they. She won't. I don't know. We're gonna have to watch what happens live and go to profit tv.com for more information. Anyway, Danny and Nia. Nia tells Daniel that some of them don't feel uncomfortable around him. And Danny's like, ha, ha, ha ha. Did I ever tell you guys? I think I might have mentioned this last season on the podcast. Danny really reminds me of. It's a deep cut. But in the movie Santa Claus 2, with, of course, Tim Allen, one of my favorite films of all time, Santa Claus one, Santa Claus two, has some of my favorite moments from film of all time. I mean, there's a great cameo from Molly Shannon. There was some great romance between Tim Allen's character and Elizabeth Mitchell. There's a lot of good stuff in Santa Claus, too. But there's also this very creepy aspect where a toy comes to life and it's Tim Allen. It's a nutcracker that comes to life, and he's sort of like a nutcracker. And if you've seen Santa Claus 2, you know, the Tim Allen version of the nutcracker that I'm talking about, I'm not talking about Santa. I'm talking about the nutcracker that looks just like Santa. Okay, so that's what Danny reminds me of. And anyone who's seen it knows what I'm talking about. But Danny, in the scene with Nia says he just talked to half the group and they all said they. They don't care if he drinks. However, I do get frustrated that these two, I think, do get it. I think they get it because even in that scene in the flashback, it was like, not everybody. I think it was Brittany who said, like, yeah, we don't care if you drink. But what they're not getting is, like. But they don't want him to make everybody uncomfortable. Do you get what I mean? Like, they want. Go ahead and drink. Just don't make People uncomfortable. And I feel like Danny and Nia are getting lost in the semantics about it all. And they're not. Either they're not getting it, or they're pretending not to get it in order to save their reputations. Does that make sense? But I can't watch them not get it for much longer. Like, I'm losing it watching the show. Like, them not getting it. I'm losing it with, like, the Janet of it all. It's like I sort of feel like we all need to move on from that, the Janet of it all. Because it seems like it's also the rest of the group talking about it now. So the fact that they're pinning it all on Janet of like. Well, Janet said that it was sexual assault or whatever, it's like. Well, now it's kind of like more of a group issue. I don't know. But Danny does sort of cry in. In this scene. Meanwhile, we then cut to them all getting ready. And this is when Schwartz is putting the makeup on his face. Question mark, question mark, question mark. And the theme is ho era. And he wears a choker and a sheer blouse, and he thinks it's goth. And he also had black shorts on and was just walking around that sucker in his mouth. The lollipop. And no socks or shoes. Shoeless Schwartz. He hasn't met a pair of socks that he's liked. I need him to go on over to the Bombas website and just order some. Some socks for his lower grippers, because I'm tired of him walking around barefoot. But Schwartz asks Zach. And after he gets ready, Schwartz is like, zach, would you. You know, would. Would you fuck me? Basically, is what he says. And Zach is like, yeah, but you know. You know how you could tell when somebody's lying, especially a gay? I think you can always tell. You can. I mean, at least. I don't know. I have good. I have good gay lie radar. And I could tell Zach was lying because when Schwartz was like, yeah, would you fuck me? And Zach's like, uh, yeah. And he was. He was saying that to be nice, and that's a good friend. I was happy for him. And I do ship. I do really want Schwartz and Zach to get together. And unfortunately for Benji, that's what my heart wants. I. I don't even mind if it's a menage a trois. Like, I'm happy if Ben. She's involved. I just do feel like Zach and Schwartz have, like, a connection, but it doesn't feel like a sexual connection. It feels like now it's more romantic. And so when Schwartz asked that and Zach was like, okay, I was thinking, actually, I don't think Zach wants to. I don't think Zach wants the sex part. But I. They do have. They do have a little chemistry. They do. Then Jasmine's decorating the bus for Zach's birthday, and she's like, zach's gay. He likes gay stuff. So I got a bunch of pride merch and dildos to put on the windows. And I wrote my notes like, what is this trip in all capital letters? Because it's truly insane. It's the strangest group of people that I don't. I know. They're. They try to convince us that this is, like a friend group. But as I'm watching, I'm like, it feels like this is not a friend group. Like a random group of people. And even Jasmine, who. I do know that Jasmine and Zach are friends. They live together and everything, even before the show, so they must be close. But when she was just like, yeah, he's gay and he loves gay stuff. And I was just like, there was no other, like, decoration for Zach's birthday other than gay. Like, that's the only adjective we have to describe Zach, and you've lived with him. And then you're just putting dildos on the windows. I did love it, though. I did love it. And then they all show up to this party bus, and it's so funny because they're all. It's supposed to be in outfits that are their hoe era. And then they see Schwartz. Janet's like, I don't think you got the same memo the rest of us did, Schwartz. And that made me laugh. And then they leave without Danny and Nia. God bless. And the bus. Everybody looks fun and drunk. Michelle even took her top off. Michelle's putting the boobies out all episode. I don't think she did on purpose, but Jesse's, like, shocked by it because Michelle's just, like, on the bus with her, the top off. And God bless. She looks beautiful. She's single now. She should take those boobies out every second if she wants. You do what you want, but Nia and Danny have to go on a sprinter van alone. And it seems to me like they do not care for each other. Whenever I see them just alone without a baby, I'm like, oh, this looks rough. But Zach on the party bus just keeps shouting, it's my birthday. It's my birthday. And Brittany. Brittany is, like, wasted, too. And I'm assuming she's still got the drains in. So that's a kind of the subtext every time I see Britney on screen is like, I think she still has drains in from her mummy makeover and she probably shouldn't be drinking, but she is. Anyway, she tells Jesse that he owes her an apology because of the Jack stuff. And Lacy's like, yeah, Jesse, you need to apologize. And I was just so distracted. There was one moment where Luke and Schwartz were lurking in the background and Tom's makeup was all smeared. And this is when he looked like a gayer joker. But Lacy fixes things between Jesse and Brittany, and she definitely hates Jesse and probably just wants to be on this show. And good for her. I want her on the show. So meanwhile, half the group is up on the top of the. It's a double decker bus. I don't love a double decker bus. And unfortunately, I think this episode just reminded me of why I don't like a double decker bus. Because it feels dangerous. And I was right because Zach, after he got shit on by the bird and Jasmine was trying to wipe off the bird shit. Zach hit his head on a sign and he was very bloody. Oh, my God, a bird shit on me. And then he just hit his head. And he was in good spirits despite the fact that his head was all bloody. And what also made me laugh was like, he just did this. And he's like, I need a medic. And they instead, like, drive to the club. And he's like, are we at the hospital? And Zach tells the group, like, you guys better go party. So they go to the club, I think. Did they go to the club first or did they drop off Zach first? No, I can't remember. But Zach tells them all, he's like, if you don't go out on my birthday, none of you are my friends. And that's why he's a good friend, because he's like, go out and party. Do not let this ruin your night. Because we all know those friends. And I hate to throw you all under the bus if you are one of these people, but there are friends who, if that were to happen to them, they would want to make the night about them and they would want to ruin everyone else's night because they'd be like, I'm having a bad night. And we see this, this happens actually across the board on reality tv because I think this is maybe a quality that attracts people to reality TV as cast members. And it's that, like, they. If they're having a bad night, they want everyone to have a Bad night. And we all have friends like that in real life as well. And what I love about Zach is that he's not one of those people. He says, you guys better go have fun while I go get my stitches. And if you don't, like, I'm never gonna speak to you again. And that's like a good friend. And we all need friends like that who are like, no, this is not gonna ruin our night. Just because I get shat on my bird, it's my birthday. And then I got hit by a sign. I have to go get stitches in a Mexican hospital, does not mean I want you all to have a bad night. And so he's a good friend. I said, sister, yes, sister, yes. He said, we're on a production schedule, so you guys get your ass at the gay bar, have a good time, and I'll meet you there after I get my stitches. And Lacey says she loves a gay bar. She's like, I saw Lady Gaga at a gay bar before she was famous. And get in line, sister. Because we all did. When I moved to Los Angeles, it was right before Lady Gaga, like, really hit. And I remember her performing at. There used to be this bar called Pop Stars. It no longer exists, but it was like this dance night at West Hollywood. And they would always have up and coming artists or people before they hit it would also have people kind of on their way down, you know, so you'd see certain. I'm not going to name names, but you'd see certain people, you're like, oh, they already peaked and they're on their way out and they'd perform there. But then there would be other people on the rise. I remember seeing, like, you would hear like, lady Gaga is going to be there. And it was like maybe when she just had just dance had just come out or something, she was doing like these small gay club appearances. And that was a fun time. Does that happen now? Are there even places for that to happen Now? I worry. But Lacey, she loves a good gay bar. They go to the bar. Zach FaceTimes Brittany, though. And Brittany's like, where are you? And I'm like, brittany, obviously he's on the way to the hospital. You just got dropped off and you saw how bloody he was and he needed stitches. So that was when I knew Brittany was wasted. I was like, oh, she's really drunk and she probably shouldn't be drinking. Cause again, she's got the drains in. But that's neither here nor there. The point is, Zach's on the way to the hospital. And as he arrives at the hospital, he's like, I hope I get a brand deal. And look, I hate to say it, but that Mexican hospital needs to give him a brand deal immediately. Immediately, immediately, immediately, stat. Is that hospital terms? I watched the pit. That's a hospital. Turn stat on it, stat. I know these hospitals funding is maybe tough these days, I don't know. But the truth is we need to get them a brand deal. And we also need to get brand deals for all the nurses and the staff at these hospitals. Because let me tell you something, the people who work at these hospitals, they work their fucking ass off. And so they need raises and they need, I don't know, other things, brand deals. And that's what these brands should start doing. You know what? I would love a brand. This is actually a smart, smart thing that they should do. Let's say I'm Pepsi Cola or Coca Cola. Instead of hiring an influencer, which is great. We love when they hire an influencer. I love it when they hire me to do influencing stuff on social media. It's great. But maybe instead of hiring people like me or maybe bring me on board somehow, I don't know, I hate to talk myself out of a job, but they should reach out to a hospital and say, hey, can I have some of the, can we come film a video there? Some of the nurses on staff drinking a Diet Coke get through their shifts, 14 hour shift, they're working their ass off doing the Lord's work and helping people recover and comforting people. These doctors, nurses and hospital staff, the admin, they're there working long ass shifts and people are not nice or friendly at these places because they're scared, they're nervous, they're angry, they're stressed. And so maybe we film a video for social media where they're all drinking a Diet Coke and we give them a big, a big kickback of many and let these doctors, nurses, admin people who work at the hospitals go have fun with that money. Do whatever they want with that. Put it towards whatever they want. They deserve it. And same with teachers. We should go to these schools. That'd be fun. And then it would be like a great story too. Like I would love to support that if I saw a Pepsi or Coca Cola or I don't know, Cheez It. I don't know why I'm thinking of Cheez Its but if that company. Who are they? Nabisco, Kellogg? I don't know who the produces Cheez Its, but they need to get their ass into A teacher's lounge and do an influencer video of just teachers and then put it on theirs. Put it on the Nabisco social media and show a bunch of teachers eating the Cheez Its and let's turn them into influencers while they're still working and give them extra paycheck. I'm not saying that we don't want them to teach anymore. I'm just saying, like, we need to give. We need to filter the money into those places because I'm actually pissed on behalf of them. They need to earn more money, all of them. Okay, so where are we at here? Hospital. Danny and Nia arrive at the bar, and this is when Luke has to tell them we were having a great time. And then a bird shit on Zach, and then he hit his head and went to the hospital. And Brittany is drunk and mad, and she's just sitting there. There's men dancing in underwear. Danny starts dancing, and Nia is like, people are uncomfortable by your hip thrusts, and you need to control yourself. And this is when Danny starts to get mad at Nia, and it's like, you're even making your wife uncomfortable. Now. We could tell. I can see. That's the other thing I think that goes. That should go without saying, is like, we can see with our eyes, the body language, the grimace on Nia's face oftentimes. And so we can see it even though the two of them aren't maybe properly expressing things in words. It's like we can see Danny's making his wife uncomfortable. Like, she's not gonna say yet. You're making me uncomfortable. She is going up to him being like, stop. You need to come control your hip movements and whatever. But we can see in her face like, she's uncomfortable by him. She is uncomfortable by him. Her, his wife is uncomfortable. And it's all just like this. I don't know. I don't know. And Danny's like, all right. Oh, you know what made me laugh? Lacy, in her confessional, she's like, Danny saying he can't dance. It's so Footloose coated sister. Yes. Ah. Her evoking Footloose just made me so happy. And I love Footloose. Almost Paradise. You know that song from Footloose, one of my favorite ballads. Do I ever tell this story? When I was just gotten out of high school, my friend Judith and I, the high school that we graduated from, Solon High School in Northeast Ohio. Love it. God bless the comments. Anyway, we had graduated, and the fall. The fall after we graduated, from high school. The high school had put on Footloose and we both liked Footloose and we were like, I don't know what happened. We were home visiting for fall break or something and Judith and I were like, let's go to the school play. We knew some people whatever in it. And I would. I can't even believe that we did it because it's very unlike us to like go back to the high school after graduating. But for some reason somebody had called us back to go see Falous and we had the best time and we went back like the next night to see it again. So we saw like a high school production of Footloose like multiple times. And that's how good it was. That's how good it was. And I remember like crying during the Almost paradise that they were singing on stage. I love that movie. They tried to remake it, but it didn't work. Okay, so then let's take a break here, everyone. While we're on a break, just go put a, put together a list of things you need to watch and put on there the Sally Field movie. Sally Field in the original Footloose. And we'll be right back. Now before we get back, we have a message from Ashley the Mosquito about Orkin. Hey besties. Hey guys. Hope you all are high key, excited for summer. It's literally giving all of us mosquitoes life. So we thought we'd help everybody make the most of it before Orkin pros try to ruin our fun. Remember, if you have standing water on your lawn from the pool or the sprinkler, let it sit there. The more the merrier. And when there's standing water, there'll be plenty more mosquitoes. Next up is a bit of a hot take, but we're so hype on it. Let mosquitoes inside. What could go wrong? Just let us inside, please. Thanks. Love ya. Finally, the number one rule this summer is do not under any circumstances speak to anybody from Orkin. That's literally so cringe and will ruin the vibe of any get together we might be having. Take it from a mosquito. Orkin pros know literally everything about us, period. Don't visit orkin.com for a free estimate today. You know, I love finding a good deal. Always have. I grew up going to garage sales, yard sales, trying to find a bargain. I get the same thrill these days when I'm looking for something I've been wanting without paying full retail price. And that's one of the reasons why I've been obsessed with whatnot lately. Now, whatnot is the largest live shopping marketplace in the United States. And it's such a different shopping experience because everything happens in real time. You're not just scrolling through listings. You're interacting with sellers, asking questions, and connecting with other shoppers while you browse. I recently got an iPhone, actually an Apple iPhone, on whatnot for 500 bucks, which was an incredible deal. I had been looking at one of the new ones and comparing prices. So when I saw that price, I was immediately invested. And what really sold me was the seller. They took the time to walk through the device, answer questions from the chat. I'm not so great with tech, so I needed to know what the difference was between the new models. The old models show close up details, so I knew exactly what I was getting. Felt like shopping with a knowledgeable friend instead of buying from a faceless website. And that's what I love most about whatnot. You almost never pay full price. There are amazing sellers going live 247 and it's genuinely fun. I've discovered products connected with great sellers, found deals that I wouldn't have found otherwise. I think whatnot is the closest I'm going to get to bargaining at a yard sale. And you know, that's my highest of compliments, truly for me. So download whatnot today and get $20 off and free shipping on your first purchase. Search whatnot. W H a T N o t in the App store, sign up and start finding the best deals on the products you love with $20 off and free shipping on your first purchase. And we're back. Wait, I'm gonna cry. Wait, I'm gonna cry. I'm gonna cry. Okay, so they're all drunk and dancing at the bar. Mia says that her other friends are like. When she had first started dating Daniel, her friends thought he was like a personal magic mic for her. And so just like us to all sit with that for a minute. Everyone has a story. Everyone has a story. Different essay today. And I guess that's Nia's story. Is that all her friends thought Daniel was a personal magic mic for her? I don't know. I've seen Magic Mike and I've seen Daniel, and one thing is not like the other. I'm doing the math in my head, and one plus one ain't equal to two. Okay? Nia and Daniel, I hate to throw you under the bus again. I'm trying to be. I want to be nice to you guys, but unfortunately, I'm doing the math equation in my head, and I don't know if I need to pick up a T9 calculator or something, but I am not adding this up to get two plus two equaling four. Okay? And so I've seen. Have you seen Channing Tatum in the original Magic Mike? I mean, one of the greatest sexual performance of all time. And so trying to compare Daniel, who's a solid 2ft shorter than Channing Tatum, I'd say. And again, we love a short king, so that's no shade to anyone who's short out there. But I'm just saying it's like a very big physical difference that I'm looking. And I'm not saying I'm not seeing the same kind of things. And when I see Daniel on that platform kind of trying to do his hip thrust or something, I think somebody had pointed out, like, Daniel's just very low to the ground, but that doesn't mean he's moving properly. Anyway, speaking of Catholic hymnals, I do not think Daniel is a Magic Mike, and I just would like to erase that comparison from my memory. Moving on. Schwartz got a neon necklace, and his makeup's wearing off, and he just looks a complete wreck. And he goes and talks to Michelle, and he said he would love to see Katie making out in front of him because Michelle's like, I can't look at Jesse making out with Lacey in front of me. Meanwhile, Brittany's just putting money in thongs. I hope she's not putting Applebee's gift cards in those thongs. Danny says he wants to go talk to Michelle, and Nia's like, no, Daniel. No, Daniel. Don't. I beg you. Do it in the morning. And she's so exhausted by this man. Meanwhile, Michelle's dancing in a gay bar, and Danielle's shouting, I'm uncomfortable. I'm uncomfortable. And I'm like, you're the worst. I find him so frustrating to watch. Not. And, look, I don't want him off the show. I. I want him off the show because, like, I. He's the worst. Like, I can't. I find him frustrating to watch. I find him and Nia both very frustrating to watch. And I know other people feel they find other people frustrated to watch. But for me, this season, like, having to watch him shout at Michelle on the bars, I'm uncomfortable. I can't do it. I can't. And then he's arguing with Nia in front of Jasmine. And then him and Luke get on the platform to dance, and he's like shouting, get uncomfortable. Where's the money? Where's the money? Where's the money? I'm like, you are not Cuba Gooding Jr. And Jerry Maguire, so shut the fuck up. I'm sorry, Daniel. I'm sorry. I say that. But him shouting, where's the money? At the gay bar while he's shouting. And then Zach arrives in his what are they? Facelift wrap. And he is like, now there's scientific proof this is not a wig. Because remember, everybody said he had the wig in his head. And Brittany's like, he looks like I did when I had my chin lipo. And this is when I wrote in my notes that this is the best show. I wrote. I'm sorry, this is the best show. Like, here's the thing. When I say it's the best show, it's like, I think I. I think it's maybe gotten, like, so bad that I love it again. Does it make sense? I don't know if this makes sense. It's, like, so crazy bad, but, like, in a way that I'm finding so fun. I don't know if that makes sense. Like, it's almost camp. Like, I'm watching it now and I'm like, this is camp. Like him. Britney saying that Zach looks like she did when she got the chin lipo because Zach had to go to the Mexican hospital after a bird shit on him. And he had it said on the sign. Like, I'm sorry, that's. This. This is maybe camp. I'm not sure if I'm using that definition correctly, so maybe somebody is out there correcting me. But the truth is, I'm finding it, like, so kind of so low budget in a way that it's, like, so fun to me now. I don't know if that makes sense. Anyway, Zach says he's got no shame. He just needs some strippers and been there, baby girl. Been there, baby girl. Okay, so then. And I love it. I love an exotic dancer. I do love a stripper. You guys know that about me. I think I've said that on the show. I don't need, like, I just love a striptease. And I think that's why I love Magic Mike. And I feel so protective of that movie. And the comparison between Daniel and Channing Tatum will not stand with me because I love Magic Mike. I saw it opening night, actually. Channing Tatum himself presented the showing that I went to here in Los Angeles at the movie theater here called the Arc Light. Him and Joe Manganiello and I think Matthew Bomer showed up, and they showed up to say, hey, we're just running around from theater to theater to say hi to people. And they. They came in the theater and then presented the film. And so that's the kind of. That's what I feel towards Magic Mike. And meanwhile, when this happened, I might have told this story before, but Channing Tatum comes to the movie theater, and I'm sitting in, like, the back of the theater with my friends, and it was like, a big, huge theater, huge theater opening night. Channing Tatum, Joe Manganiello, Matt Bomer come to the front of the auditorium, and they're like, hey, guys, we're surprised we're here. We just want to say hello before we start the movie. And it was like I was at an NSYNC concert. Like, I just sprinted to the front of the auditorium, and I look back at a certain point, like, Channing Tatum's talking. I sprint to the front, and I got my phone out. I'm taking photo, and I'm just kind of living in the moment. And I look back, like, looking for my friends, the group of people that I went to this movie theater with. And I'm assuming they're all going to be, like, by my side, you know, like, everybody came down to the front of the auditorium with me. And I look back, and it's like nobody else had really left their seats, you know, Like, I had made a beeline for the stage, and I was like, so I was so horny for that, for Channing Tatum at that moment, I just, like, sprinted like I was at an NSync concert in 03. Like, that's what it was going on. Oh, that was fun. That was fun. Anyway, let's see. Where are we at here? Nia goes to dance with Zach, and then Danny's like, this is all you care about. Danny was getting mad at Nia for dancing with Zach. This is when Schwartz revealed that he gave a stripper an Applebee's gift card. Then we see Brittany ordering a shot and showing the bartender pics of her son. I'm sorry, that's high comedy. That's high comedy. Like, Britney at the bar just showing pictures of Cruise to the gay bartender. I wanted. It was so good. I wanted to cry. Wait, I'm gonna cry. And Brittany started crying. And then they all just leave the bar. Danny has to go back to the. They all have to go down one bus now. They didn't rent out two sprinter vans for them now. So Danny goes to the back of the bus to lay down. He's so drunk. And this is the problem why the whole group, it's like, nobody else has to go lay down. And I understand, like, the drinks hit Daniel more because he's a little smaller. He's a little A pocket man. And so, of course, then you need to scale. He's a grown adult, though. He should know that he needs to scale back his drinking. If he can't even sit upright at the end of the night, then it's like, maybe you're drinking too much, dude. And he's so drunk. Nia is like, daniel, ignore every. Daniel, ignore everyone. And go lie down. There's just go lie down over in the back there. And then there's no room. They're all trying to get on there. And Nia has to parent Daniel. And Daniel's yelling at Nia for digging the fingernails in her stomach. And I think what was happening was like, Neo was doing that to be like, daniel, the cameras are still on. Like, pull it together. You know when you're out to dinner with your partner and your partner's, like, saying something embarrassing, you kick them underneath the table. You're like, shut up. Or they're. They're saying something like they're not supposed to say, and you kick them underneath the table, or you grab their hand underneath the table, and you're like. It's like the international symbol for, like, shut the fuck up. And I think that's what Nia was doing. And so when Daniel's like, nia, stop putting your fingernails in my stomach. I was like, oh. Nia's trying to, like, give him the international symbol for shut the fuck up. And he's not taking. Instead, he's yelling at her. But I was getting so frustrated. I honestly had to pause the TV because I was getting so livid at that man. Because she's always having to parent him. She seems miserable, but again, it's in her own making. Like, I don't even feel so bad anymore because I'm just like, well, she doesn't seem to have a problem with any of this, so whatever. And I just was frustrated. I just couldn't watch it. And she's always parenting him. Then Janet, meanwhile, is peeing in a cup I can't defend that. I don't like when people. I don't like when people pee in the cup or. Or a Gatorade bottle or something. You know, we've all been on road trips with people where they're like, I'm just gonna piss in this Gatorade bottle. And I'm like, no, because I just feel like there's droplets that get other places in. That's not acceptable. And I don't. I will not stand for that. And so, Janet, you know what? You need to tell the bus driver to pull the fuck over or hold it in. And I'm sorry to get tough. Tough love. But I've been tough on Danny, and, yeah, I got to be tough on your ass. And so you need to wait until you get to a restroom and then piss in the cup, because I don't like that. And then there was a moment where they hit a bump and they had said, like, it almost went on. Nia, she almost got a cup of Janet's hot piss. And if we thought things were going in a circle with those two now, imagine what would have happened if Nia got a splash of Janet's hot piss. We would have been fucked. It would have been a storyline for the next four seasons on this show. We would have just been spinning around in circles. They wouldn't have stopped talking about how Janet's hot piss got a Nia's face or wherever. And so I just. I couldn't accept it. And look, we're lucky. We're blessed. And I think. Here's what I think happened. I think, you know how there's karma and balance and the universe always has to balance itself. I think if Zach didn't get shit on by the bird and hit his head in the Mexico double decker bus and have to go to the hospital to get stitches, I think that Janet's hot piss would have gotten Oliver Nia, because unfortunately, I think those accidents, they balanced themselves somehow. And so that's why I think we. We were fortunate enough to not have Gina Top Pisco all over Nia now. Yeah, I just don't like that. I don't like people peeing in a car. Just hold it. You need to tell me you can't hold it a little longer. And if you can't hold it a little longer, like, I get that, but then you need to say, hey, production crew, we need to stop. I need to go pee on the side of the road or in the. In a ditch or bush somewhere. Like, I don't like it. Happening on a moving vehicle. It's just not for me. And I know people do that all the time, but I don't like it. It makes me very uncomfortable. And I don't like the idea of, like, the droplets getting. Sorry to say droplets, but I don't like it. But what else is happening? Zach says this is his favorite birthday. What? I have the tilt. His favorite birthday. I'm like, what? It's been such a mess. But anyway, that's the end of the episode, and it's already Daniel's birthday because it was like 1am and so that was his birthday now. And I'm scared for next week. Although I am excited because it says in the previews for next week. It says like, 24 hours later, and we see Kristen and Luke are fighting. There's spiders. Lala goes up to Nia and Daniel and she goes in on Daniel and she calls him a. What did she say? A small Peter pocket, those two. I like to. Honestly, I like to see lala and Daniel fight. Why are you squaring up with me, dog? Because you squared up with me, homie. I just know it's gonna be a mess. And in the previews for next week, it seems like Nia's trying to. To block lala from Daniel and you guys. It's gonna be. It's gonna be maybe like a good episode. That's what I feel in my heart. I don't know. I'm enjoying the Mexico trip, even though I am enjoying it because it's, like, so bad. It's good. I hope I'm making sense sometimes, too. Yeah. I don't know. I just. I'm having some laughs. Like, it's so chaotic and just make me laugh. I don't know. Make me laugh, make me cry. I'm gonna cry. I'm gonna cry. Anyway, I love you all so much for listening. Thank you. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday week and celebrate safely. And I don't love this holiday with the fireworks, too. I'm now the baby to him. Like, the baby's not gonna. His schedule's all gonna be off because he's gonna be waking up from the stupid fireworks. And I know people with dogs hate the fireworks, too. But the one thing I do like about this holiday is that it's an excuse for me to eat Twizzlers because that's what I always used to do when I was growing up on July 4th. We would always have Twizzlers, the licorice and that. To me, it's a Fourth of July staple, that and this jello pokey cake. Do you guys know what that is? It's like a yellow cake, a box cake. And you put the, you poke it with the spoon and then you put jello in. It's like a jello cake with whipped cream frosting. Oh my God, it's so good. It's a Midwest staple. And then you put, you put the blueberries and strawberries, you cut them up so it looks like an American flag on it. And that's really what the USAF means to me these days is that Jell O cake and a twizzler. Enjoy what you can. And so I'm sending love to everybody and I hope you all have a safe and happy and healthy and you know, just meet with some friends, some family and try your best to have some laughs and some joy and celebrate safely. And I will talk to you next week. There ain't nobody that'll feeling more than you, boy. So let's keep it moving, make it go pop, pop, pop until my panties go drop, drop, drop. Now before we get back, we have a message from Ashley the Mosquito about Orkin. Hey besties. Hope you all are high key, excited for summer. It's literally giving all of us mosquitoes life. So we thought we'd help everybody make the most of it before Orkin pros try to ruin it are fun. Thanks. Love ya. Finally, the number one rule this summer is is do not under any circumstances speak to anybody from Orkin. That's literally so cringe and will ruin the vibe of any get together we might be having. Take it from a mosquito. Orkin pros know literally everything about us, period. Don't visit orkin.com for a free estimate today. Thanks for listening to Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino. Listen to and follow Everything Iconic with Danny Pellegrino and on Amazon Music. Danny Pellegrino dives deep into the latest chaos-filled episode of The Valley, dissecting the Mexico group trip that’s packed with birthday celebrations, reality TV drama, questionable friend-group alliances, and hilariously messy moments. This week's recap zips through drunken antics, bird “incidents,” shade-throwing, and the ever-shifting alliances among cast members, all filtered through Danny’s comedic, empathetic, and slightly camp lens.
Danny Pellegrino’s signature storytelling is threaded throughout: sincere, self-aware, and always leaning into the humor and absurdity with warmth (“Wait, I’m gonna cry!”). The recap skips between meta-cultural asides (Cheesecake Factory, Magic Mike, Sally Field’s movies) and razor-edged parsing of reality TV dynamics, all punctuated with his Midwestern-influenced asides and references to personal life, which ground the madness in relatable, nostalgic realness.
This podcast episode is an ideal listen for those who want to relive the wildest moments of The Valley through Danny’s comedy-rich, heart-on-sleeve lens—or for those who want a fun, detailed catch-up without having to watch the show. The main event is chaos (both comedic and dramatic) as the cast tosses shade, gets wild in Mexico, and delivers a new high in reality TV camp, with Danny’s unique blend of observational humor and empathy making every second iconically entertaining.
