This episode is brought to you by Hint Water. I need to tell you about something that has completely taken over my life. Started innocently. One sip and then suddenly I was thinking about it. Constantly craving it, longing for it, asking myself, what is this feeling, this completely unhinged desire to drink water? Specifically Hint water. I tried the peach raspberry flavor and honestly, it rewired something in me. The second it touched my lips, I ascended it. It was subtle, juicy, refreshing. Like my body finally understood what hydration was supposed to feel like. Just crisp water with this delicate little whisper of fruit that makes your brain go, wait, more of that immediately. And the dangerous part, it has no sugar, no sweeteners and no calories. It's literally just water infused with fruit essence. That's it. Somehow it tastes like a treat while technically being responsible behavior. So, yeah, I've been seduced by water. Hint has no sugar, no sweeteners and no calories. Just water with fruit essences. Water that makes you crave water. Try Hint now available online@drinkhint.com and in stores nationwide.

I lost the bet. We were sharing Friday shrimp. We were sharing fried shrimp. Hello everyone. Welcome to Everything Iconic with me, Danny Pellegrino. That was a clip from this week's episode of the Valley. Now, that wasn't the only clip from Chili's that I pulled from the episode because the gals and Zach went up to the Chili's restaurant. They got a couple orders of triple dippers. Lacey even showed up. And you know I love a Chili's. However, I do feel bad for the Chili's because it's not great advertising. Not only just because the Valley cast was there. I'm sure, I don't know, it's like the best, best advertisement to have the Valley cast at your restaurant. But especially now that the episode aired, we see that Zach unfortunately sharded at the Chili's. All I had to do was pee. Well, whilst peeing, I relieved myself in a backwards manner. And it relieved more than I thought it was going to. What is it gonna take to like for somebody to listen to me? Yeah, I've been trying for years. Zach is Shartin in the Chili's bathroom. Meanwhile, Brittany just got the drains out. She's at the table with the triple dipper being like, I need People to listen to me. Why isn't anybody listening to me? I've been trying to tell y', all, it's so good. But I do feel bad for the Chili's because it's not a great advertisement to see the Valley cast at your restaurant, and one of them is Sharton in the bathroom. Had to throw away the underwear in the Chili's restaurant. Now I'm starting to get gross on you guys at the beginning of a podcast episode. But I'm just talking about what happened on the show, and I can't even believe that this aired, let alone that Zach allowed it to air, that he was in the confessional, talking about throwing away his underwear in the Chili's bathroom. Because you'd have to pry that information from my cold, dead hands if you ever wanted me to reveal that I sharded in the Chili's bathroom, threw away the underwear. I mean, and it was like, right before he went to the restroom, Brittany was at the table because she got mad at Zach. She was pissed, and she said, that's not the Kentucky Zack I know. And then it was like, immediately he went and charted in the bathroom, and I was like, there's Kentucky Zach. He's not fully gone. Brittany, like, if only she would have known that he was Shartin in the Chili's bathroom, then she would have known that her Kentucky Zack is still with us. Unfortunately, he seems to be bamboozled maybe a little bit by Nia and Daniel and Kristen. However, he's still there. But I couldn't even. That's a real. I mean that I often complain about the new era of reality and stars, and they want brand endorsements and brand deals, and they're worried about their image and their social media, their presence and all that kind of stuff. Meanwhile, Zach is just sharting on camera and talking about in the confessional. Like, you would never catch me talking about if I did that. I think most of us. If that happened, which these kinds of things happen to people. But I certainly wouldn't reveal it on camera, let alone talk about it in confessional. Like, if a producer was like, hey, what was going on in the bathroom? I'd be like, I don't know. Like, I would take that information with me to the grave. I would not be talking about it on camera like, Shardy and Chili's restroom. But I was happy they were at the Chili's. And even though Zach might be patient zero for Cyclosavora or whatever, that diarrhea parasite that's going around is that's what I'm choosing to believe. I think him and Chili's is like, that's patient zero. We're all looking for where it's at. It's like, I don't know if Taylor Farms provides lettuce to the Chili's or somehow they put the berries in the triple dipper. I don't know exactly how it works, but it's possible that Zach is patient zero for this. And so maybe we need to start looking at the footage and we need to send the CDC the footage of the episode of the Valley so they can figure it out. Because it seems every time I go on social media or go online to look up, like, the diarrhea parasite, I can't tell what's going with that. And I go to the grocery store and they got the bagged salads on sale, which just feels so insane to me. It's like you turn on the news or social media and everybody's saying, don't buy the bag salad. It's the bag salad. Don't get the bag of salad. Don't get a. Don't eat a bag salad. And then you go to the grocery store, it's like, bag salad on sale. And I'm like, what the fuck is going on? Like, everything's a mess. But anyway, I feel bad for Zach for pooping. And the Chili's, I feel bad for them, too. But anyway, I had to get that off my chest. I'm sorry for spending four minutes on Zach's diarrhea. We'll probably spend four minutes more later in the episode. But for now, I want to back up and I want to talk about some other Bravo news before we get deeper into the episode of the Valley. Now, there was a new trailer this week for an upcoming season of the Real Housewives of New York. And look, you know, I haven't cared for the reboot. I think the last two seasons of Roni since it's been rebooted have been some of the worst television I've seen on the network. And that is saying something, because I did watch every episode of Camp Getaway. However, the new season, happy to say, looks good. It looks good. It looks good. That's right. It looks good. Inexplicably, almost, it looks good. Carol Radzivill is back full time. Now. She was announced to be coming back as a friend, and then the trailer came out and she's a full time cast member, so she's even front and center in the cast photo. And so she's back. We got Jessel and Sy and Aaron are back from the reboot. And then we got some new gals. One of them is Martha Stewart's makeup artist. Martha Stewart's gonna be appearing in the show. Now, I had told you guys a while back that I had heard that Martha Stewart was, like, basically a friend of on the show. Like, she's gonna be appearing a lot. And in the trailer, it does seem like she's appearing the makeup artist's apartment. And so they're showing her in the trailer, which does lead me to believe that Martha's gonna be around a little bit. I don't think she's gonna be around a ton, but she did film, I think, a little bit with these gals, so that's exciting to me. And also, the trailer did look like it had a lot of drama in it. Now, was it missing some laughs? Yes, it was. I didn't. I'm a little excited about the new gals because they seem quirky and crazy and nuts in a good way. But I'm. I'm a little hesitant because I wasn't, like, laughing a ton. And I think one of the staples of the early seasons of Roni and one of the things that made it so good was that you were laughing a lot at these women. And so I hope we have the comedy. Now, the other kind of pessimistic thing that I want to say, and I know people are going to get mad because I'm going to be. I'm going to be pessimistic for a minute because want to know what other times I watched a good trailer? And I came out of watching a trailer thinking, oh, the season's going to be good. The last couple of seasons of Roni, so I'm not going to be bamboo. You know, fool me once, shame on me, fool me twice, shame on me again, and fool me three times, shame on me again, Again. Because I think they might be fooling me again. Again. Because I'm watching this new trailer, and I'm thinking, this looks great. But that's the reaction I had when Roni was rebooted in the first place. I watched the trailer, and I thought, oh, this looks good. And so anyone could cut together a good trailer. We're gonna have to watch what happens live and see if the season's good. I don't know yet if it will be. I hope it'll be. There were reports, there were rumors that it was not going well. The filming, and then they come out with the trailer. The trailer looks great. So we're Just gonna have to wait and see. We never know sometimes. I. We've talked about this on the podcast. Sometimes they've had shitty trailers for the season, and then the seasons are really good. And didn't we just have this conversation about how like, lately I've been noticing the trailers have been a little bit subpar, but then the seasons have been better. And I thought that was purposeful by bravo of like not putting everything in the trailer, whereas the new Roni, it feels like they. They're putting all the juicy stuff in the trailer. So maybe the season won't be so good. I don't know. That's like the. That's the way these shows have been going lately is like the season long trailers have not been great. And then the seasons are better than the trailer. And it keeps our expectations, though. So it's like they're. They're under promising over delivering, whereas this seems like the opposite of that where they're over promising and then I hope they better not under deliver because somebody pissed at the network if they give us another flop Rony season. So I'm hopeful. I'm gonna. I'm gonna try to be optimistic about the season. I think again, the trailer looks fantastic. I'm happy Carol is back in the mix because I think it'll lead to Dorinda reboot. I don't know. That's my. That's how I feel. I feel like this opens the door for some. For Dorinda or Luann to come back. I don't think Sonya would come back, but if Carol's back full time, I mean, it makes. It would kind of make sense. And maybe that's crazy me to hold on to that. But anyway, I'm gonna watch the season. And it's starting September 8th, I think somewhere around there. I don't know. Let's get back to the Valley. We talked about Zach's diarrhea at the Chilies. You don't know what to eat these days. I mean, we just talked about that parasites situation that's going around. Never have. I wanted a salad more than when they tell me I can't have a salad. But now I just went to the grocery store. I'm kind of addicted to these. It's not a salad. It's not even related, but I'm sort of addicted to these little snack packs, the Sargento. Do you know what these are? It's like got cheese, Teddy Grahams, and fruit snacks in it. I think they're for children, but it's. There's no cartoon characters on the container, so I feel like they're for adults. But it's the perfect little snack because it's, like, very tiny. And I don't know. I'm. I'm bringing it up because I'm staring at a packaging because I just had one. Anyway, that's not the point of this podcast. Let's talk about the Valley. We open with Tom celebrating Kiana's. I'm saying her name right, right? Kiana. Kiana. I'm not good with names, y'. All. I'm not good with names. Okay? Like, Brittany from Vanderpump rules in the Valley. I'm not good with names, but is her. She must be a Libra too, because they're celebrating still Halloween. It hasn't been Halloween yet. Now, it might be during that portion of October, the end of October where Libra turns into Scorpio. But it seems to me like Kiana might be a Libra, as Tom Schwartz is, as Zach is, as Daniel is. A lot of Valley cast members are Libras, apparently. But I'm curious about whether she is a Libra or if she is on that Scorpio cusp, because I'm actually Libra, but my husband's Scorpio. He's November. So it would be interesting to me if Tom and Kiana are the same. I think that's her name, right? I would like to get to know her more, though. Like, show me a little bit more. I don't even know what birthday she was celebrating. What was this? She's young and so it's 20 something. Anyway, then we see Michelle showing a home. Like, we're watching selling Sunset because she's opening this big ass home and we've never seen her at work. I don't believe I knew. She did some real estate work, and that's where she and Jesse had their relationship. They were both doing real estate together, and it was interesting. And then they cut around it right away. But Michelle's having a breakthrough season. I think we're finally getting to know her. She seems so nice, and we're getting to know more personal stuff. The stuff with Jesse is very intriguing to me. Watching them cry as they sign divorce papers.
A
Whoo.
B
I'm telling you guys, they're getting back together. I feel it. I know they were just signing divorce papers, but they got a spark. They got a spark. Then we got to Mogu. Mogu Cafe. It's like Zach and Benji are meeting at this cafe called Mogu, and I thought, we've just really run out of names for things. Like, because of what it does feel like when I. And look, maybe that's a word, forgive me if it's a word that everybody knows or it's, you know, something that I'm just not aware of. But the bigger picture is that when I look around Los Angeles sometimes, or if I go on Postmates, I'm looking at some of the names of things, and it's like we've really just run out of names. We've just run out of words and names for things, and that's where we're at. But Benji and Zach meet there, and they just met with the immigration attorney. Benji can't work or save up for surrogacy. He wants to have the kids via surrogate. Zach isn't sure about kids and he cries saying it out loud to Benji. And I thought this was fantastic. You know, I think this is such an interesting thing because one of the things that I noticed when I was starting the family was that there wasn't a lot of examples of gay people or LGBTQ people with kids, especially in media. And I even having kids now, I hear from a lot of gay people who reach out or listen to this podcast or read my books or whatever, and they reach out to me asking me questions about kids because I think a lot of gay people just don't even know where to begin or see examples of it. And so it oftentimes deters them or makes them feel like that it's not even a possibility for them. And so I'm happy that they're talking about this on camera because I think it's a very interesting conversation. And Benji says it's a non negotiable forum, so he wants to have like a deadline. And Zach's like, well, I need a year, I need a year. And Benji's unsettled by that because again, it's non negotiable for him. And so I'm curious where they're gonna end up. A lot of kid stuff happening on these shows. And speaking of, then we cut to Santa Clarita and right, right when we're cutting to Santa Clarita, they showed Danny and Nia's house and it just had like a big Halloween decoration. It was a ghost that says boo. And I was like, I'm already scared every time I see that Santa Clarita house. And again, it's not Santa Clarita. It's not like the city or town of Santa Clarita. I feel like I always need to point that out because I Hear from a lot of people who are like, I just moved to Santa Clarita or I love Santa Clarita. And it's not necessarily Santa Clarita that makes me uncomfortable. It's Daniel and Nia's house and specifically the neighborhood their house is in and the bad vibes I get every time we're filming there. Okay, and this is a good time to point out that if you like Danny and Nia, please turn this podcast off. I don't want to yuck your yum. So move on. Don't listen. Because they were pissing me off again, as they do every week. I'm sorry, again, turn this off. I don't want to yuck your yum. Don't get mad at me for saying bad things about those two because I can't be in Santa Clarita house with the ghost in the yard that says boo. And then we see a close up of a card that says, mama's coming home. And then Nia comes home from her pageant world and she's like, hi, my love. And if I have to hear, hi, my love, hi, my love. Hi, my love, she enters with the baby and then immediately, do you know what Danny's first words were? Do you know what his first words are? Nia's just gone for a week. She had a break, but she was a. It was a working break. And I keep pointing out, but she's the clear breadwinner of the household and she's taking care of all the kids. She's got to breastfeed still the baby because the newborn is still on the breastfeeding. So she had to take the baby with her on a work trip to the pageant world where she was judging a pageant or Miss USA or whatever. And she takes the baby and imagine traveling with a newborn that you gotta feed every couple of hours. Then you're going to a work event, she's leaving the other kids, and she had to worry about hiring the full time childcare because Daniel just got the vasectomy, which was an in office procedure. And he's acting like he was just, I lost a whole limb or something. And so she gets back after this and immediately when she walks through the door, you know, after travel, and you're thinking, I just want to get in the shower. I want to put my unpack my clothes and whatever. And the first thing the husband says as she walks through the door was, he says it in front of the other kids. I think the son was there. And he says, daddy shouldn't be on his feet now that mommy's here. And I thought, you know what? You know what, Daniel? Electric chair, like, unacceptable. The first thing that Nia has to hear when she walks through that door after working for seven days or however long she was gone judging a pageant, she's got to hear her husband say, daddy shouldn't be on his feet now that mommy's here. She hired you full time help while you were. While she was gone. And you know what? Citizens arrest. If I was over there in Santa Clarita or if I had a half a. If I had a half a tank of gas to get me on over there, I would. If I could afford the Uber over to Santa Clarita, the hundred dollar Uber it would cost to get me over there, I think I'd do a citizen's arrest because that is unacceptable. For him to say that daddy shouldn't be on his feet now that mommy's here. It's like, how about you go get your ass to work and go do something? She just worked. She probably earned a good paycheck judging that Miss usa. What did you do? Just sat on your ass while childcare was around you and complained about your little snip in office procedure? I mean, that man. That man. She's just walking through the door and you had an in office surgery. It wasn't. I don't even know if we. He was awake during it doing jazz. He was scatting while he was getting his balls snipped or whatever they do for the vasectomy. And I heard from a lot of people because I wasn't sure last week on the show, I was actually kind of defending Daniel in that, like, I didn't know what the recovery is like for vasectomy. And then I heard from a lot of you who told me your husband's had the vasectomy or you yourself had the vasectomy. There are sometimes straight guys that listen to this podcast, believe it or not. But I heard from some of them who said, actually the vasectomy procedure is not bad at all. It's not a 10 day recovery or whatever like Daniel is saying it is. So then when she walks through the door, daddy shouldn't be on his feet now that mommy's here. And I thought, how about you just go lock yourself up because it's unacceptable. And then Nia talks about how great judging Miss USA was and she talked about how nice the gals were uplifting. The women were. It's like, yeah, the women were uplifting because you're judging them in Apache, you dumb shit. I'm sorry. That was mean. That was mean. But it's like, yeah, of course the women who are in the pageant are going to be nice to you as a judge. Like, what do you think? They're going to be assholes to you. They want to win the pageant. And then also, I don't know. I kind of. I don't understand. I don't want to talk too poorly about pageants because, like, I don't understand that world. And yes, I did watch Honey Boo Boo back in the day, but otherwise, like, I don't know a ton about pageant world. The thing that I do know is, like, Mia's talked about how when she was in. Again, apologies if it's. I think she was in Miss usa, right? There's Miss Amir. And I know that's. I don't mean to be offensive of, like, mixing them up, but I think she was Miss usa and I've heard her talk about how the president who was in charge of the pageant she was in had, like, brought some old creepy men in. And she's, like, told this story on a couple different interviews. You can look it up. I don't remember the exact wording, but. So it's so weird to me that it's like, even throughout that experience that she's talked about in interviews when she was a pageant gal that she's still so, like, into the pageants. I don't know. I'm like, well, I don't know. I don't know. But I guess she's judging it. Whatever Mia says, she had to raise her voice with a group of friends. She's like, I never have to raise my voice with other people. It's only around this group of friends that I have to do it. And it's like, yeah, because you're on reality tv, so reality TV people have to raise their voice. You should have known that before joining this cast. And then, oh. Want to know the other thing that pissed me off about Daniel? I know I'm going to try to turn around and be positive. One more negative thing Daniel said when Nia got back and they were going to talk about the pageant thing, he said, happy anniversary in regards to his vasectomy. And she's like, what? And he's like, this was our anniversary gift. Meaning, like, his vasectomy was the anniversary gift. Keep in mind he hasn't mention anything about the anniversary. It's always been about his birthday. He keeps talking about how his birthday was ruined in Mexico. It was his birthday. It's his birthday. We heard that a hundred times over the past five episodes about his birthday in Mexico. Everyone who ruined his birthday, why do they have to talk to him on his birthday? Oh, it's his birthday. Why are you. Lala. Why are you stepping to me on my birthday? It's my birthday. I'm trying to have a good birthday. And then it was also revealed that it was their anniversary, but he never said, like, it's my anniversary. Why is somebody yelling at me on my anniversary? Like, he never once said anniversary. The only time he's referenced his anniversary now is about the vasectomy. And he's saying, that's the anniversary gift. And it's like, could you be any worse? Could you just be any worse? I'm sorry. Okay? I got that off my chest. It's, like, shocking to me that people defend him. I know I always say on the podcast, like, turn this off if you're a big Danny and EA fan. Because the reason I have to say that is, like, I hear from a lot of people sometimes, yeah, it's. But I'm, like, thinking, how are you watching this and defending him? Because I would think, like, and a lot of people will say, oh, they're defending Nia. And it's like, well, Nia can't even defend him. Like, and also, if you were trying to defend Nia, you should point out all the things that Danny is doing to terrorize his wife. Do you know I'm saying, like, if you want to have your gals back, if Nia's. If you want to have her back, you should be defending her by calling out the shit that Dani is doing to her. Does that make sense? Like, I don't understand. If you do have Nia's back, you should be saying girl. Like, what the fuck are you putting up with this shit for anyway? She does need. I'm actually. I'm most disappointed in Zach, to be honest with you, because if Nia has a gay in her life, she needs him to say girl. Like, she needs him to look in the eye, look in her eyes, and say girl every time Dani is doing something like this. And for Zach to be the only gay cast member on the show and for him to be siding with Nia is actually very unfortunate because her life could be better if Zach would just lower some sunglasses on the bridge of his nose and say, girl. Girl. And I think maybe she would get it. Maybe she would. She needs a gay in her life to say girl. And I don't know why Zach's not doing that for her and seems like she's bamboozling Zach. We're seeing which we're gonna get to. That's good. And we're gonna get to that. Brittany's having the Halloween party. Let's take a break here and we're gonna come back, talk about Britt's Halloween event as well as some other things. The Chili's restaurant and of course, Jesse and Michelle.

You know, one thing nobody tells you about acne is that it doesn't magically disappear once you're out of high school. Every now and then I still get a breakout, usually right before I have to be on camera or do a live show or something. It's like my skin knows exactly when it's least convenient and I need to take a picture. That's why I've been using Panoxyl. Good.

Yeah.

But yeah, I do not like you. That's fun. I so we cut to Jesse's house. Michelle arrives. They have some cute banter about Michelle's ex, Aaron. Remember he had the honey company where the honey was named after like weed stuff or something? Wasn't it like drug am I making that up? He had a honey brand. It was never really on the show, but I remember one time we looked it up and it had these like weird names and you know, that's a sign of Millennial business is when they have weird names for things. And I know we talked about that when it was in regards to the restaurants at the beginning of this podcast episode. But that is a very millennial thing to just have a honey brand and then name all the honeys after, like drug stuff. Anyway, anyway, Jesse made a funny joke about Aaron's honey. And it's taken two years and four days for this divorce to be finalized. They're just signing the papers and then they're gonna file and then the legal's got to go through it. But I was sad, I was sad. I didn't want to cry. Wait, I'm gonna cry. But when I watched the scene of that I'm gonna cry, I thought, I'm gonna cry, I'm gonna cry. Wait, I'm gonna cry, I'm gonna cry. And then Jesse, when they're crying, Jesse offers some champagne that Schwartz got them for the divorce signing. And Michelle's tearing up as Jesse's going to look for the champagne. And they're playing some like very emo. It sounded like it was right off the Garden State soundtrack. It was like some emo music. Maybe not directly off the Garden State soundtrack, but it sounded like something that was produced as like a royalty free song to sound like the Garden State soundtrack. Does that make sense? But I do think these two will hook up again. I'm sorry to Lacy, but that's gonna happen. Jesse cries too, even when they're pouring the champagne. And you know what I wrote in my notes? This actually might get me in some trouble. But you know what they need, what they really need, what Jesse and Michelle need on this show. And I think this would actually help the show a lot. It would cause some storylines to move forward and give us some new content besides Danny and Janet. And that whole stuff is if we brought on Vicki Gunvalson. Because here's what. If you watch the Real House of Orange County, Vicki's constantly talking about her ex husband, Don. And one of the things Vicki always does, whether it be with a new girl, Camilla, or one of her other friends, she always tell them, don't get divorced, don't get divorced. And oftentimes when she says that people, I think actually they need to get divorced like Vicki, you're wrong. But I believe that if Vicki was on the show, if they had Vicki Join the Valley, Vicki Gumbelson, then she would go up to Jesse, Michelle, she'd say, stop getting divorced. What are you doing? What are you doing? What are you getting divorced for? You don't need to get divorced. What are you doing? You two love each other. Don't get divorced. Because she went through this with Don. And I'm a little worried that in 10 years, Jesse Lally might say, why did I ever divorce Michelle? Why did I ever divorce her? She's stunning. She's nice and kind and smart. Like, from everything we're seeing from Michelle this season, she. Why would she divorce her? Not only is she all those things, but she's also paying your bills after you get the loan, and you can't afford the loan. And so I think Jesse's making a big mistake. And I think if thinking of us was there, she'd say, hey, you need to sign up for life insurance. And also, don't get divorced. Like, that's what. The first two things on her list, she'd give him a clipboard that said, fill out this paperwork for your life insurance for Coto.
A
And then
B
here's the forms for you to fill out for my Koto life insurance. And then also, don't get divorced. Those would be the number two things on first two things on her list. If she joined this cast, she'd be handing out clipboards to the whole group because they could probably use some life insurance. You know, who doesn't? But they need Vicki. I think she would. And I don't know if that's the right thing or not, but. But unfortunately, while I watched the scene, that's what my heart wanted was Jesse and Michelle not to divorce as they're signing divorce papers. And again, we love Lacey. But Jesse also said something about how he saved, like, cards for Michelle because he wants Isabella to know how much they loved each other and how Isabella was brought into this world with love. That's the daughter's name, right? Isabella. God, I'm so bad with names lately. Oh, y', all. I'm not giving a name. Okay. Baby's teething, too, so we're like. My brain's little extra mushy because baby's just crying all the time, wants to be held, all that stuff. He's down for a nap at the moment, but the teeth are coming in, I think. You know? You never really know. I feel like you blame everything on the teeth coming in. Don't you parents out there know what I'm talking about? You just sort of blame it. It's like when he's being a demon, I'm like, oh, there's probably a tooth coming in anyway. I wish I could blame a tooth coming in on my behavior. Like when I'm If I'm being too mean on the podcast, I wish I could just be like, well, I got a tooth coming in. Unfortunately, I have all of my adult teeth at the moment. Okay. Then we cut to a tiki boat. They didn't even really explain why they were here, I don't believe. But it was like Michelle, Lala, Kiana, and Schwartz, and they get on some sort of little tugboat or I think it was called the Magical Tiki Boat. But it was like, why are we here? Were we celebrating Kiana's birthday or something else. Did I miss something? There was a bartender, though, and Schwartz is like, hey, can I help bartend? And she's like, well, I think I know what I'm doing. And also, I even got mad because I've been with these people for so long now, watching them on tv. And I know that Schwartz is not a good bartender. I know he owned a bar that served lobster corn dogs, unfortunately shut down because it was stationed next to a Petco or a pet supply store and served the lobster corn dogs. But that's not the point. The point is Schwartz, I've seen him bartending. He's not a great bartender. So for him to suggest the gal who was actually bartending on this boat who was like, no, I got it, I got it, I got it. By the way, last week on the show, I mentioned those how sir on Instagram had posted a picture of their salmon nachos. And a lot of you reached out because you were looking at them, and they're very rough to look at. And I'm glad other people found them just as disturbing as I did and just had to point that out. Michelle has a date lined up, though, with her client. Now, I would like to be invested in this because she's like, I'm so excited. I have a date. He's a comedian, a famous Persian comedian. And she's excited. I'm excited for her. However, I'm a little not as invested because I know in real time she's with Dr. Dre. Right? She's with Dr. Dre. So let's not forget about Dre. Anyway, Schwartz tells the story about Jesse, and Janet's talking about Janet's trauma. And he tells the story very poorly because he's talking about how the guys got together at a celebrate Danny getting his vasectomy, and how Jesse was trying to talk about how Janet has this trauma, and Luke and Danny didn't want to believe Janet's trauma. And he also says Kristen didn't either. And we talked about this last week, like, it. It was gross to me of them all to dismiss it. And seems like they keep dismissing it. But lala says Kristen's hatred for Janet is clouding the judgment. And I think lala's right, unfortunately. You know, I don't love saying those words. Lala's right, but it's where I'm at now. And I think the issue with everyone hating Janet is, like, you, I. I feel like you can hate her if you find her very annoying. Like, oh, good.
A
Yeah.
B
But, yeah, I do not like you. But I think sometimes people are, like, looking for excuse. Like, they just find her annoying, and so they're looking for other excuses for why that is, and so they blame it on other things. Does that make sense? Like, even Kristen, I'm like, I think she just finds Janet annoying, but it's like everybody's sort of pinning it on other things. I'm talking about, like, the cast members and the audience. Anyway, we do see, speaking of Kristen, her and Luke go to couples counseling, and Kristen says in the pregnancy, she expected physical, but not all the mental and emotional toll. And she's postpartum. And I always say we got to give Kristen some grace, even with the Janet situation, because it's like, Like a lot of her judgment is cloudy. Even Nia, I think on some level, their judgment is clouded because they just had babies. And I just, I, I even, I say those two. But also, like, it kind of goes back to Janet, too. Those last couple of seasons, Janet was also postpartum. And so some of her annoyance, I think also we should chalk up to some postpartum, like we have for all three of them. I think, like, Janet's postpartum wasn't centered on the show, whereas Kristen and Nia's postpartum is more centered on the show. And. And so it's like Janet is sort of getting no grace for postpartum in her season two or what was it, season one or season two that she was just coming off the baby? I don't remember. I don't know if I can remember this show. I can barely remember anyone's name. Oh, goodness. So anyway, Luke and Kristen at the couple's counseling, Luke says he felt lonely and criticized and couldn't do the things he used to do after he had the baby. And the therapist says a baby is like a bomb in a relationship. And look, I don't know. It's tough to watch these two because Luke said something kind of nasty. And even the therapist thought it was nasty when Luke Was like, said he had never met. When he got engaged to Kristen, he had never met pregnant Kristen before that. And so when he asked her to marry her, he's like, well, I hadn't met pregnant Kristen, and they should have probably dated longer before moving into this new life phase, because it's like, they had the baby, they got engaged, and maybe. I don't know, how long were they together? Even before that. So when Luke says that, even the therapist is like, what the fuck? And Kristen's just, like, sipping her Stanley. But Luke says something that I was, like, shocked to hear because he's like. Brings up another baby. Uh oh. Like I, uh, oh, remember that song? What was that? Uh oh, we're in trouble. Something's come along and it bust our bubble. Uh oh. Do you remember that song? It was from the pound. It's from the Power Rangers movie soundtrack. Anyway, I did hear that song in my head as soon as Luke said something about another baby, because I thought, like, I. I didn't even know that was on the table for them because it seems like they're in such a nightmare with this one baby. And so I worry. I worry. And Kristen doesn't want to be in the same spot with Luke with another baby. This is tough, you guys. I was shocked to hear that they want another baby. I just didn't know that. It seems like maybe not the right time, but then also, like, devil's advocate. I know there's like, the biological clock thing that we always talk about. And so maybe I think on some level they're thinking, which most couples go through, this is like, okay, well, I have one. If I do want a sibling, how many months apart do we want? How many years apart or. Or how old am I getting for the pregnancy to. You know, there's all these questions, and so I understand the questions. It just. It worries me that they're in the couples counseling talking about another baby when they're like, not even over the first baby. And they're having so much troubles in the relationship. And we just, you know, I want the best for them, but I worry that, like, if they were to have another baby right away, Luke seems to have animosity towards Kristen when she's pregnant and postpartum. And then Kristen has obviously some animosity towards Luke dealing with her postpartum and all that stuff. And so it's. I don't think the right answer to, like, throw another pregnancy in the mix, but I understand the question of, like, should we have another one right now? Or it stressed me out. I like it. I like having hives just even talking about it because it's, like, just so fucked up. Like, it's scary, it's hard to watch and relatable. And I'm happy that they're. That they're discussing these things on television, but it's also tough to watch. It is. Okay, so then Britney, we cut to her. She's jumping with Cruise. So adorable. And he's kind of got her hyuck, yuck. I mean that lovingly. I think Cruise is gonna have Britney's layoff rip bananas. And she says Cruz is doing so well because he has a safe house. And we talked about this last week on the show, how it was revealed that the Valley picked up filming for this big scandal that happened where it's like Britney and Jax's publicist started hooking up with Jax, allegedly. And so that news came out last week, and then it was revealed that they picked up filming. So I don't know if it's going to air at the reunion or during the finale next week. That's right, next week's the finale. But I don't know if it's going to air then. But they did pick up filming. And then there's been all these rumors sort of circulating online that it's a way to get Jax in the mix. Now, I don't believe that it's a way to get Jax in the mix because to me, it. I don't. I mean, I would hope. Maybe I'm totally wrong, but I would think and hope that, like, Bravo wouldn't stoop that low. Because I can excuse. We can all excuse a lot of things. I'm not someone who's so puritanical when it comes to reality TV that I don't want some monsters on here. I think one of the points of having monsters on reality TV is so you can watch them be like, oh, that's a monster. I shouldn't behave like that. Does that make sense? I think the audience needs to have some responsibility to say, you can watch someone who is a demon. And you can watch them and say, oh, that's the kind of behavior we should not have. We should not be like that. But then there is an argument to be made, like, don't platform someone who's crossed a line. And so I always feel like there is a line and it might be always moving or it may be different at different times for different people. But when it came to Jax, or when it comes to Jax, to me, he crosses that line because a There's a child involved. And that actually, that's like the main thing. It's like, there's a child involved here. I don't want to see an abusive dad or abusive husband while the kids. So, yeah, I don't like that. To me, it crosses a line. So if this is a way to get Jax back on the network, which I don't think it is because it seems too gross and low, but that's the rumors going around. I don't think that'll happen, though. I don't think they'll bring Jax back. I mean, that would be pretty sick if they did to Brittany because Britney's also been like, very upfront saying, like, I don't want him back. I don't want him on this show. Like, if you watch interviews and stuff, she says he hasn't really changed and he still is kind of doing the same things he's always done. And she has revealed. I mean, even on the show we saw about how he was like throwing a table and something in front of the kid. And then also he was like putting up the cameras and spying on her. And like, there was stuff that was definitely crossing a line. And I don't like that when there's a four year old, there's a child involved. This is not a game, a reality TV thing. Like, I'm fine with the monsters on TV if there are no children. Like, terrorize all the adults on the reality tv, but don't. There's, like, Cruz shouldn't. I don't even think Cruz should have to, like, grow up to see. I know he's going to have to or going to eventually see footage of his dad on reality tv, but, like, I don't think it's good to. I don't. Jack should not be back on the show. I don't believe some people might disagree. And yeah, would he come back and like, drive some storylines forward and give us some good drama? Yeah. But to me, the expense of the child is not okay. And again, I do like when there's bad people on reality tv, just to me, there's a line and he crosses that line to me. Okay. And I do want him to get better. Like, of course I want Jax to be sober and to be nice to Brittany and the kid because, yeah, you want the best for the kid. Like, despite what happened between them, Like, I don't want Cruz to have to grow up with a demon father. So, like, he should be off reality tv. And I think being on reality TV would just make him a worse Parent because he'll just go back into the same tricks he's always done in these shows, being terrible. So anyway, I hope it's not, but I don't think it's a way to get Jax back on tv. But that's like, kind of the rumor that's going around. Okay, so then Britney is having a Halloween party. So I love themes of costumes. I love Halloween. And they showed a picture of her, like, dressed as Jim Carrey in the mask. Like, when was that smoking? Like, what was. What was the. What was the Jim Carrey catchphrase from the mask? He's smoking or something? What was. Am I making that up? I know that whole era of Jim Carrey was just. It was everything to me as a child. The Ace Ventura mask, like, that whole run of stuff. I mean, really up until, like, Mr. Popper's penguins. Like, Jim Carrey was really delivering, and then he had a little break and then he started delivering again with the Sonic movies. So I'm, you know, I grew up on Jim Carrey. Can't help but love him. And so when I saw Brit Bananas dressed as the mask, I said, good costume. I love it. So she's doing a Halloween party. That's Victorian masquerade. And then before the party, though, she's doing a photo shoot for sexiness because she just got the drains removed and she's feeling good about her mommy makeover. So that's where Britney's at. But before her photo shoot, she is gonna go to a girls lunch at Chili's, which is maybe not a pre photo shoot. I don't know how close the Chili's adventure was to the Sexy Time photo shoot, but I would hope there was at least a few days in between. But I am not holding my breath, because we do know that Brittany, before her major surgery, did throw a crab boil at her house. And so I'll never forget that. So it is, I suppose, not shocking that she would go to Chili's for a bunch of Chiple Dippers before her Sexy Time photo shoot. But at Chili's, Janet didn't invite Kristen or Nia. She says she's tried a couple times and they always say no and they hate each other. But I do wish that Janet. I hate that I'm saying this, but, like, I wish that Janet would have taken the higher road again or this time and invited Kristen and Nia. Because then I'm just thinking, like, when she said that she wasn't inviting Kristin and Nia, I thought like, ah, fuck. I thought, oh, fuck. Because in my head, that just meant like, okay, so next week, we're gonna have to have a fight about how Kristen and Nia weren't invited to the Chili's for the triple Dipper by Janet. And I'm tired of going round and round about the same argument every week. It's like, Kristen versus Janet and Nia and Joanna and Daniel. It's like, I need some other people fighting. I just need new people fighting. Like, I need Kristen to fight with Zach or Kristen to fight with Jesse or something. I just need some other. Or Britney to fight with Janet or Michelle. Or I just need some other layers here because it's, like, annoying the shit out of me. But I do love a Chili's, and I know the exact one they're at. I think they're at the Encino Chili's, which is my chili. That's the one near me or the closest one to me. And Michelle walks in. She's never been to the Chili's. She's like, teach me this menu. And Zach is like, michelle is not. Michelle is not ready for jalapeno popper. Zach says. And then I don't think she is either. And I don't think Zach's insides were either, because he had to go right to the bathroom and shard it. But Janet is the one who invited them all there. She orders the dippers. She's like, I want the Nashville mozzarella sticks. I want the mozzarella sticks. I need the. I mean, she knows how the triple dipper works because she's from Ohio. And that's another reason why, unfortunately, I have to have my gals back just like I do. I told you on the Orange county recaps, I gotta have Carmela's back because she's an Ohio gal, too. I have no choice. I'm loyal to my home state. I am. Whether you like it or not, I am. But she. Janet reveals she spent $600 a month on McDonald's breakfast. $600 a month. She said she was spending $20amorning, and it added up to $600 a month on McDonald's Breakfast. And she was pregnant. But still, that's a lot of money. And they need to lower those prices. Everybody need. And I say that about everybody. They all need to lower their prices. You want other thing that pisses me off about the Mickey D's is the one near me. There's no one. I'm sure I've complained about this before, but there's no one to talk to at the counter. So you have to just order on a screen. I'm talking about going into the restaurant. I'm not talking about the drive thru, but I'm like, I want to talk to a fucking person. Let me talk to somebody. And I know they're just getting rid of all the jobs so they don't have to pay employees. But it's like you can't even pay an employee at McDonald's to take my order. And then the prices are going up at McDonald's. You can't even go there without spending 20 bucks now on a little ass meal. And for that much money, you should be able to talk to a human person. Pisses me off. They're all getting like this. Our lives are all going to shit. Hate to be a bearer of bad news, but everything's going to shit. Wait, I'm gonna cry. I'm going craw. Okay, so Lacy arrives to the Chili's and is like, she knows about Chili's. They all assume that Lacy doesn't know shit about Chili's. And she's like, I know about Chili's. Zach brings up Danny and I'm so sick of talking about all this. I'm so sick of it. But Zach tells the group that Danny is maybe realizing his bad ways. And then Janet says Danny gets so much grace and she doesn't. And then Britney gets mad at Zach for dismissing her. And then that's when he goes to poop in the restaurant or in the restroom while peeing and then had to throw the underwear away. Like, I don't. Zach said it was his antibiotics and we gotta give him that grace. But I still. Do you think it could have been. I hate to say this because again, I love a Chili's, but did he order one of those sugary drinks? Because that's the one thing I do not care for at a Chili's is I've had some of the specialty drinks there before. Obviously I'm from Ohio. Obviously I've had some, but they're a little. They're not. They're very. How do I put this? They taste like chemicals. And so I would imagine if you're going to immediately poop, it's probably from one of those specialty drinks, not the antibiotics. That's my gut reaction. But it's possible that his patients here for Cyclic Sephora. Who's to say? Then we cut to the photo shoot with Britney. Kristen and Lala show up. She is only four weeks out from her surgery. She says, I'm still swollen, but I feel like it's a good time to take photos. And I just wrote my notes. Brittany. What? Every time Brittany tells us about one of her life decisions, don't you just think, like, what? Like, how did you come to that conclusion? It's like, I'm kind of fascinated by how her brain works. And I hear from a lot of people, you know, not just about the Janet stuff. A lot of people would be like, how do you defend Britney so much? And I'm trying to support my gals is the honest truth of it. But I'm also so fascinated by Britney and how her brain works. Because you hear about these decisions and you just think, like, what? And as someone who's like, recapping, it's like, fun to. It's fun for me to recap the things that Britney does because every time she does something, I think, like, what the fuck? What's this decision? And in the context of the show, sometimes I think because the show doesn't always focus on some of her decisions or insane decisions, then almost as the audience, we think we don't even breathe it in. And so when it comes to something like the crab boil before the mommy makeover, that's an insane thing. But they breeze past it on the show. So the audience, I think we're all just accepting it as a normal thing. But when you go back and think about it, you think like, what the fuck? What the fuck? Like, what is Brittany doing? What's this decision she's making? And so I think that's why I also love watching her on tv, because I think, like, she's keeping me on my toes. Because I don't understand it. I don't always understand how the brain is working. And that's a fun thing. That's a fun thing. Lala also arrives at this photo shoot in an insane outfit that we are just gliding past. Like, nobody. I don't think anybody said anything, but it was like a camo top with no shoulders, just giant ass sleeves. I don't even know. I was like, what is this outfit? Like, go back and look at Lala's outfit. And I'm not. She's stunning. Lala's obviously stunning, but, like, what the was she wearing? I don't know. I don't know. But I was proud of Britney. It's crazy of her to do this photo shoot four weeks out, but I'm proud of her. She says, my body does look good. And I could cry. I could cry. It's a powerful thing. It's a powerful thing because I was married to Someone who never say nice things about my body. That's a powerful thing. I'm gonna cry. I'm gonna cry. And she's talking about Jax being such a shithead about her body. And her body's fantastic. She's. She looks phenomenal. No matter what size she is, everybody's body's different. And she should. I'm happy that she's feeling good in her body, because that's the main thing. You just want to feel good about your body. And the fact that Jax made her upset about her body and not feel good or comfortable or confident or powerful in her body, it makes me sick. And if you're someone out there who's. You got some dumbass demon man in your ear telling you about your body not being good enough or not being this weight or that weight or this boob size, that boob size or whatever it is, you tell them to shut the fuck up. And you tell the voices in your head that are repeating what those people are saying, and you tell those voices, shut the fuck up. And you learn to love yourself, girl. You gotta love yourself. And I'm happy that Britt Bananas is finally loving herself, despite the fact that she probably waited a couple more weeks post surgery and she should be treating her body a little bit better when it comes to the drains in Mexico and the tequila shots. But other than that, I'm happy. Other than that, I'm happy about it. And I just have to remind us all that everybody, someone's going to love whatever body you're in. There's someone out there who's going to love that body. And so you can't chase what this person looks like. That person. Easier said than done. I know I'm saying this out loud, and I'm hoping that myself takes in this advice, but you really got to tell those negative voices to shut the fuck up. Because someone will like your body as is. Whether you're extra thin or whether you're extra big or whether you're tall or short or whatever it is. Just got to be confident. Confidence is the sexiest thing. Have you ever seen someone. Sometimes you see someone, like, they're so confident, it doesn't matter what body they're in or what their ears look like or eyes look like or the shape of their nose or whatever it is. Okay? Love yourself. Let's take a break here. That's a good time to take a break. Positive note, while we take our commercial break, find me on social media, Danny Pellegrino. You get my books wherever books are Sold. And we'll be right back. Now before we get back, we have a message from Ashley the Mosquito about Orkin. Hey besties. And we're back. Okay, so Britney's doing the photo shoot for Body after Jax talked a lot of shit about her body made her felt bad about herself. Rotten hell. And then Brittany, Kristen and Lala, they go and talk and Brittany tells Kristen that she's secluding herself in the group. And she says Brittany was even at the or Lacy was even at the Chili's with us. And you and Nia couldn't be at the Chili's because you're holding onto this grudge against Janet. And Kristen says that Lacy was actually on the phone with her up until arriving at the Chili's because she was afraid of Janet or didn't want to talk to Janet or whatever. And that's so weird to hear because when Lacy showed up the Chili's, her and Janet had this conversation about how they had made up at Jasmine and Melissa's gangster party or wedding party, whatever. And so it was weird to hear that Lacy was on the phone with Kristen talking shit about Janet when she showed up on camera and then sat down across from Janet and said how much they're getting along there now. And then Kristen also said Zach talks shit about Janet 24 7. Britney says that Kristen is guilt tripping Zach. Zach actually wants to be friends with Janet, but Kristen's guilt tripping. Kristen's like, no, he talks so much shit. And Kristen says Nia actually guilt trips Zach but not her. And this is when both Britney and Ly are like, oh, there it is. We cut, cut. We got your ass, Nia. That's what they're saying. But it's true. It seems like maybe Nia is like the mob boss. Lala says it says, like, she's in control. And Kristen's hands are dirty, Zach's hands are dirty, but Nia's the one in charge of it all. And we even see some flashbacks of Kristen and Nia guilting Zach at the amusement park. And Kristen says Zach is in group chats running his mouth. And I don't know why Zach is flip flopping. I wish he wouldn't. And Brittany says it seems like something changes in his mind sometimes. And I wish he would just, I don't know, figure out. I don't know why he's. I don't know why. Those three have hitched their wagon to each other. And I like them all. I want them the best for Nia and Kristen and Zach, but they're not doing themselves any favors on this show. And Lala is happy that Kristen threw Nia under the bus. And look, Lala is stirring the pot. She's getting in the mix and she's at least seemingly trying to move these storylines forward. But they need other layers. They need other stuff going on. But they're happy about it. Because I think what's going on is like, they were happy that Kristen threw Nia under the bus. And what I'm gathering from watching the show is that the cast knows that Nia is different off camera. Nia and Daniel are different off camera than they are on camera. And they're trying to show it like the cast is trying to expose that Danny and Nia are different off camera than on camera. This is how I'm taking it. And so they're happy that Kristen is like, at least showing a little bit of these cracks in Nia because that's what they're trying to show. Whether it's true or not, I don't know. But it seems like that's what the cast is trying to do to like not expose, maybe expose isn't the right word, but like to show the audience what the cast sees in them. Does that make any sense? Anyway, then you get to Kristen and Luke's house. Lala arrives and Kristen. Lala's like, how have you been doing? And this is just a sit down between just lala and Kristen. And Kristen's like, how am I doing? Well, my aura rings saying, go fuck yourself, you're not rested. Which made me laugh. That was funny. That was fun. That was like a good joke Kristen had. Then she said her Oura ring is just saying, go fuck yourself, you're not rested. Like, that's a funny joke. And if I was Oura ring, I would pull that clip in an instant and I would play that. That'd be the commercial. Just that one clip. They need to give her a sponcon deal because that was honestly, it's witty and funny and quick and I just had to point that out because that doesn't always happen on these shows. But it was funny. Lala brings up the Schwartz and the Janet thing and Lala's like, look, I don't want to share Janet's story about what she went through, but you would be touched by it. And she's saying, without saying it, like, you need to back off Janet a little bit because you're going to. What she's saying is like, you're going to look like an asshole on the season, which Kristen has been looking like an asshole the season. And Lala's saying like, Kristen, like, I'm not going to tell you exactly. Like that's not my business to share. But like, you need to. You're going to look like an asshole. Like, just reel it in. That's what she's saying without saying it. And Kristin says she's going to give empathy from afar and Lala is like very relieved by it because Kristen says it's easier to understand. And in Kristen's defense too, it is easier to understand the situation coming from Lala than from Schwartz because. Because Lalo was even imitated in Tom Schwartz. And it's like the way he says stuff is like he's so kind of flip floppy and he's never having a declarative sentence. So it's hard for anyone to understand anything coming from Schwartz's mouth, let alone something serious as like a trauma or an assault or whatever. And so yeah, Kristen finally is like, okay, I'm going to give some empathy from afar because I'm hearing it from a person who can speak to me clearly. Even though Lala's not even fully speaking clearly, she's speaking more clearly. Tom Schwartz was when he showed up and was like, krista, maybe you shouldn't. Maybe you should know. And then that's how the episode ends. Next time, it's the season finale. About time. When they said next time on the season finale, I thought, finally, thank God. Thank goodness. Thank goodness. Because I couldn't do another week. If they would have said next week on the Valley without the next time on the season finale, I wouldn't be able to handle it. I need the season finale. This season is going on too long. But next week's the Halloween finale. Luke's pressuring Kristen to get pregnant again. Danny versus Lala, Britney gets activated. Also, there was this rumor. I brought it up in one of the episodes, but there's been this rumor that somebody throws a drink in the finale. I think maybe. I don't know who does it. There's a rumor that somebody's throwing a drink and they don't show in the previews and maybe it doesn't happen. But that was the rumor that I heard. Maybe Janet throws a drink or something. I don't know. I hope I'm not making that up. But it is a rumor that I heard and I'm curious if that does happen because they didn't show in the preview. So maybe it doesn't happen. I don't know. I'm excited to see the finale, though. What else is going on in the city is wrapping up with their Watch what Happens Live Reunion. Something, you know how I feel about the Watch what Happens Live reunions. I'd rather not even get them. I find them very uncomfortable. Just in general, I wish they would film them anywhere else. And God bless everyone over at the Watch what Happens Live. We love them so much, but it's unsettling to me to see so many people in that clubhouse. It just makes me feel unsettled. I don't have any other. It's like when we go to see scenes of Santa Clarita. I feel unsettled. And so when they said in the city's gonna do Watch what Happens Live reunion, which was sort of like a follow up to the Summerhouse reunion. Because most of the time in Part one was spent talking to Amanda about how she dealt at the summer house reunion. And it also just felt like me, like they were rehabilitating Amanda's image so she could come back to in the City next season with west in tow. I'm sorry to say that, but that's how I took it as a viewer of these shows. It was like Andy kept asking, do you regret how you performed at the reunion? And how are you in West? And they talked a lot about west. And it's like, west cameoed on this show in the City, but otherwise the west and Amanda was like a non event on in the City. So we spent a lot of time on that. And then the other frustrating part was like, after we stopped talking about the west and Amanda stuff, I realized, like, I don't care about anything else that happened on the show. Like, I. I don't care about the Kenny or that argument with Lindsay. Like, that stuff feels all stupid and fake and not. Not even serious. And I don't know everybody else, I was like, I don't know if I care about any of this stuff. I don't know. I didn't love in the City, to be honest with you. I think the Bones are like, I will continue watching the Bones are there. Just. I wasn't impressed by the season and for them to spend so much time in the Watch what happens Live Clubhouse reunion on the West. And Amanda, I thought, ugh, I don't know. Wasn't. I would have rather they just skipped the reunion. I don't know, maybe that's not popular to say, but I wish they would have just skipped it and started filming the new season of in the City. And then we got our season two reunion. Because lest I remind you all that most of the shows that aren't Housewives, they don't normally get a season one reunion. A lot of times they wait until season two, like the Valley did. The Valley waited until season two to do a reunion. And as much as we might think we want a reunion, it's like, I'd rather wait until we're doing it in a studio set and we've had more than eight episodes. That's another issue. Why I don't think it worked for an in the City reunion. It's like we've only had eight episodes of the show, and a normal season is much more than that. I mean, even a shortened season of housewives would be 12 episodes. Back in the day, they used to do some Jersey seasons, which would be like 12 to 14 episodes or. Or, you know, a smaller episode count. And so to only have eight episodes and then do a reunion, it's like, what are we doing here? Let's Just wait until we've had more episodes, more storylines, more cohesion in the group, and then do it later. I don't know, but it seems like they're setting up Amanda and West to join the show, which makes sense to me on a production level. As an audience member, I'm like, ugh, I don't want to see that. I don't think I want to see them at all on the show. But I understand that it would provide storylines for the show. And it seems like the audience is really invested. Even if they hate Amanda and Wes, they're still sort of invested in the storyline. But I don't know that I want it. But at least maybe it'd be better than, like, some of these other people on the show. I'm like, I don't give a shit about Yvonne and Nick and Georgina and Kenny and Whitney and Lexi and Andrea. Like, I don't think I care for any of them. Is that mean to say? It's my truth. They just do a recast. They should do a recast next season. Okay. The other thing. Next Gen still airing. I'm liking Next Gen, though. Having trouble following. They're adding a lot of cast members, and there's a lot of text on the screen that's hard to follow. But otherwise, Riley was sort of. I felt bad. I felt bad. There was that scene where Riley was yelling at Ariana, who Ariana seems like she's, like, really grown into nice young woman, which is interesting to me because she was raised by Kim Zolciak. But sometimes on these shows, I've learned that, like, the parents that we think would raise really good kids, they raised the really good kids, and then vice versa, you know? So it's interesting to me. But I was mad on behalf of her because Riley was, like, saying, you didn't have my back. And when Riley got too drunk at the table and she was, like, yelling at Georgia, or is that her name? But then Ariana was sitting there and she was apologizing to Riley, and I was like, actually, I felt like Ariana was looking out for Riley, was, like, trying to get her to drink water. Water and, like, stop her from saying things she shouldn't have said. So I feel bad for her. But, you know, they're young. They're young. That's the end of the episode. Thank you all so much for listening. We'll be back later this week with an Orange county recap. But for now, I bid you adieu and go forth and try to put on a happy face and don't cry. Wait, I'm going to cry. I don't think you should cry. Don't cry and have a great day and we'll talk later this week. Love you. Bye. EVERYTHING ICONIC WITH DANNY PELLEGRINO
Episode: THE VALLEY: Chilly at Chili’s!
Date: July 23, 2026
This lively episode of Everything Iconic finds Danny Pellegrino deep-diving into this week’s The Valley episode—centering on the cast’s memorable (and ill-fated) group trip to Chili’s—while weaving in wit, personal stories, and broader Bravo updates. Danny also breaks down the latest Real Housewives of New York trailer, touches on in the City’s reunion, and offers commentary on reality TV relationships and cast dynamics in his signature relatable and hilarious style.
Danny’s tone is equal parts snarky, empathetic, and affectionate, balancing harsh truths and group call-outs with encouragement—especially around self-image and hard relationship moments. Sharp one-liners and playful self-deprecation are peppered throughout, as are fleeting asides about Ohio, snacks, and parent/child realities.
This episode is a dense, rich summary both for casual Valley fans and diehard Bravo watchers—delivering context, opinion, and pure comedic entertainment in Danny Pellegrino’s iconic fashion.
