Maybe it was. I still kind of have it. But look, I had it with my bangs still.

I kind of thinking about cutting the bangs back. Well, okay. Beginning of April, this is depressing. Af. But yeah, I was in Mexico with my boyfriend for a trip.

That was great. That was his Valentine's Day present to me. We're off to a great start. If I start weeping, don't know what to tell you. Okay. What about you? How'd your April start?

How April started. Well, I got a bottle of wine. Picture.

I took Dom and Cade, my nephew, to Miami to the Florida house for vacation. Which again, funny, because obviously I've now sold that house.

Yeah, but it wasn't for sale this this time last year already?

Yes, it had already been up for sale. It took forever to sell that house. It took over a year to sell that house.

[Donald]

Well, a house like that needs a specific buyer.

Is anybody out there? Oh, also, in April, we went to bingo in my neighborhood. Okay, I really need to get to the break past the breakup point, because it's going to be real fucking depressing.

I took a picture. So I was still working at the restaurant, and on my way to that work. I'm just. This is totally off the subject, but I took a picture. Have you ever seen a hat like this before? I'll post it on the screen. If you guys are looking from.

Every time I walk through the grocery store, I just eye the cottage cheese. I'm like.

It does look disgusting. It's one of those things because I

do buy the truckload. Like, everybody is, like, fine. Can't think about it too much. It's curd cheese.

Like I said, the texture. Throw a little Pineapple on there with a drizzle of honey and some cinnamon. Fine. But like, I'm not doing it all day, every day. Dom let me buzz his head last April. So he's had a buzz head for a year.

Is that when you it up a little bit?

No.

The first time I did it, I didn't mess it up.

[Donald]

I. I just saw in April, we went. Nell and I went to see Beyonce, which I'm a huge Beyonce fan. Yeah, it was the second tour, so the cowboy Carter. But she did a lot of her renaissance songs too. And I just loved it so much because although I'm a big fan, I also am someone who doesn't pay a lot of money to go to huge arena concerts. If I was going to pay a lot of money, I'd rather go to, like, a more intimate setting music venue.

[Autumn]

Right.

[Donald]

But we earned some tickets and it was really fun.

[Autumn]

By the way. You were right. We launched April 29th.

[Donald]

Okay.

[Autumn]

Because I was sent a very big bouquet of flowers for congratulations on our launch. And that was on April 20th. Dom and I played. So did dreams and love. Dom and I played a lot of pickleball. Uh, let's see what else we got.

[Donald]

In May, I bought my Jeep, which was such a big thing for me because I always wanted a Jeep Wrangler. Like a. The. I loved the four doors. But I've always been a person who. Every car I've bought before that has been cars that I don't hate, but, like, the most financially responsible. Like, it. Like, that was the first car. Like, I could have got a cheaper car that would get me from A to B. But I loved it. And it felt so empowering and exciting to buy a car that I love. Loved.

[Autumn]

I think that's so cool. Like, that is. You know, we all have those moments where it's like, this is just the car that I can afford. But when you get to buy that first car or get that first car, that's like the car you want.

[Donald]

Yes.

[Autumn]

Like, that's exciting.

[Donald]

Yeah. So that was really cool. I was like, oh, my God, I should have done this a long time ago.

[Autumn]

My very first car that I ever got, I got for myself. I worked like a maniac. I worked double shifts at a restaurant, waiting tables at a Mexican restaurant when I was in college. Double shifts, like five, six days a week for like two months straight. And my girlfriend worked there, so she got me the job. And I, like, we would have all the same shifts, so I would always ride with her. But it was a Honda Civic. And I leased it, but my dad negotiated the lease for me back in Ohio, so I had to fly to Ohio, get the car, and then he drove it with me back to St. Louis. And I named it Zazu because it was like this pretty, like, ocean green, teal kind of color. Like, not bright teal, like you would think. Kind of looked a little like the color of the bird in Lion King. And I love Lion King. And I had auditioned for Lion King at Animal Kingdom and almost got it. Anyway, so I named it Zazu.

[Donald]

Oh, that's so cool. Do you still name your cars?

[Autumn]

No.

The last one I named was my Tesla. I named it Oreo because it was black outside and white inside.

[Donald]

Yeah. Oh, that's cute. Yeah, I haven't named mine. A name hasn't come to me. But I do love her.

May. I have basically no photos aside from workout pics and a video of Dom dancing. May must have been pretty boring for me.

[Donald]

Yeah, May was the car for me. And then other than that, I'm looking.

Oh, May 31, we got to New York for Hyrax.

My first Hyrax. Which technically Hyrax actually was in June because we flew in on the 31st.

Remember our bedroom when we got in there and we were like, this is all. Shower is all glass and the bed was right next to it. So, like, if you got in the shower, you were just giving the person on the other side a show.

So when we decided when it was time for us to shower, one of us would have to leave and go down to the lobby.

Right. Because I didn't trust you not to peek.

Not because, you know, not in a perverted way, but in a. You know, I'm just kidding. But still.

Well, then I would say the same for you.

Honestly, I don't think I could trust myself not to sort of like, it's

No, it was so funny. Like, literally, that shower was set up as if it was supposed to be a show. No, like. Like in the 70s, when you'd go in and, yeah, put a quarter in

and, like, blinds go up and, like, a girl dances. Yes, we know what they were trying to do. Well, I went straight from Hyrox in New York. Back to the Florida house again. I did my family reunion, so I hosted my dad's side of the family. So my dad, my brother, all of my first cousins, or the majority of them, a couple of them couldn't go. All of my first cousins, their kids, and my aunts and uncles. So there was like 25 of us at my Florida house for a week that.

[Donald]

Well, the end of June was my birthday. I know you threw for me, so that was a big. Like, I was thinking about that a lot. I turned 4 40, and I was really excited about turning 40. Yeah, I really just love a new. Like, by the time you're like 39 or. I felt the same way at 29. I'll probably feel the same way at 49. Like, all right, let's. Let's get on with this next decade. But I don't know why I get more excited about the beginning of the next one than the end of the one I'm in.

[Autumn]

Yeah, I don't know. Like, I don't know if I'll feel that way. About 50, some 45 right now. And I'm, I feel great. But it is, it does. Like, if you think about it too long, it gets to be a little intense because you're like, oh, God, like, none of us gets out of here alive.

I have panic attacks about how aging and how fast it goes and, like.

[Autumn]

Yeah. And then you just know, like, especially with, like, I think about, like, there's, there's moments in my head, like horror memories even from when I was, like, in college, like with my family and stuff, when my dad was like 50 or my aunts.

I had this realization with my parents, like, because now I have nieces and nephews and my parents are grandparents and I'm like, oh my God. I remember my grandparents younger than my parents. And my parents are young, they're only 61, but still I was like, wow, that means parents are younger than my last boyfriend. I got some young parents.

[Autumn]

I like some older men. Okay.

[Donald]

But yes, it stresses me out. And I was talking to them because my parents are still together. And I was like, I just occurred to me that one of you gonna die before the other and I'm gonna have to take care of one of you, which is fine.

I was better get back to la.

I was like, this feels.

I was like, this also feels like when you're gonna have a kid and you don't know if it's gonna be a boy or a girl, I don't know how to prepare.

Yeah, I loved that. What else? I had some fabletics events I took Dom to Disneyland with. Was this when Emily was down? This must have been or was. Did Dom go to Disneyland with us?

That was fun. And then I got broke up with in July. So I have literally Disney is the last. I must have already been broken up with when we went to Disney. I was. You're like, yeah, you were. Then I went to Paris. Dom and I took a vacation to Perry, and that was so fun.

I have been. I've been to France. A couple different places in France. I've been to Italy. I've been to Greece. I've been to Monaco. Been to London.

When were you in London last?

The launch of 80 Day Obsession. I went with Bobby and Kaylee. No, that's not true. That wasn't the last time I was there.

What do you love about the landscape?

It's beautiful. The landscape is just breathtaking. The food is delicious. The beaches were cool. Like, it's not like the. Like, I don't think it's the best beach, per se. Yeah, but, like. Yeah, like, I wouldn't necessarily. If I was looking to just go to the beach, but. But, like, the culture, like, I don't know. I just. There's something about, like, the culture of it all. I like. I do love Europe. There's a small part of me that's like, oh, it could be so cool to live there. But I don't think I have the balls to do that.

I got to visit. I'll let you know. I'm going this summer.

[Autumn]

I know you are. I kind of wish I was going with you. Yeah, Greece was amazing, but Greece, like, we went to Mykonos, and, like, the island is so small, so after a few days, I'm like, okay, I'm done. Which I guess you could travel around to different islands, I think. I mean, I loved Italy, too. Dom and I did, like, southern Italy, and then we did Rome. So I do kind of think, like, maybe if somebody was like, oh, I got you. Let's go. I'd be like, okay, let's do northern Italy. Like, yeah, there's plenty I still want to see.

Yeah, but. Yeah, I know. That's the thing. But it is. If you have a chunk of time, you can see a lot of places in one trip when you're over there.

I know, but sometimes that makes it just super stressful. That's the one thing is, like, you almost got to go for like a month where you could take your time, because Dom and I were there for 10 days and. And we did a good chunk of, like, southern Italy. But, like, one day we had plans to go do a bunch of stuff, and we both woke up and we're like, absolutely not. We were so tired that we were just like, we're gonna just chill at the hotel today.

[Donald]

Yeah, I like that. Like, I think over plan sometimes I'm like, I'm gonna need a vacation after this vacation.

[Autumn]

But Paris, Paris, we did stuff. We literally saw all of Paris.

[Donald]

Yeah.

We didn't miss anything in our seven days, and it was amazing.

Well, in August, I went to my hometown, and that might be the last time I was there in Ohio. And it's just. I only mention it. First of all, I'm from Dayton, Ohio, originally, and they had a lot of, like, new cool restaurants and stuff where I was like, okay, they're starting to show out a little bit. But I went to the. I think I talked about on the podcast how I went to the drag show.

So I thought, yes.

And then it was like a male strip review, and I brought my uncle, and I was mortified. But it makes for good memories.

Well, August, I took my girlfriend to Vegas for Backstreet Boys.

At the Sphere. Like, it was sort of her because her birthday and my birthday are a month apart. So it was like our birthday celebration together. So we did Vegas literally for 24 hours. We flew in, saw the show that night, got up the next day, flew back home. Yeah, that's all I have saved in my phone for August. And actually, thank God there was, like, one photo because I must have deleted a lot of stuff out of here

like, what did I do in August? And then I don't. There's like, no photos or anything. This is kind of what I want to get my hair back to, by the way. What do you think?

Now I'm at your birthday. When we went to the. Well, we celebrated. The three of us celebrated your birthday. One of the things we did is go into that escape room.

Well, before that, I took Dom to New York to go see Hamilton. So that was super fun. We spent the weekend in New York, walked all around, saw my brother, went to a bunch of different matcha houses.

[Donald]

It's neat to look back and see, like, I forgot about. It's not that I did a lot, but you don't think about a lot of these things.

[Autumn]

Yeah. September is when Dom got his first job. So I took him to. In Malibu to celebrate. He still works there. He's at the gelato place.

[Donald]

I'm so proud of him. Like, he's such a. He's just really, like, handling himself so well in this phase of life. He could be partying and really inconsistent with his job and stuff like that.

[Autumn]

Yeah.

[Donald]

And he. The fact that he wants to work, he picks up shifts. He's learning an instrument.

[Autumn]

He's learning three guitar, drums, and piano. And apparently he's learning to sing.

[Donald]

It reminds me of my brother. Like, he really applied himself. And it's just cool to see, like, when you take your energy and put it into something like that.

[Autumn]

Dom has to meet Joey when we go to Nashville.

[Donald]

Totally.

[Autumn]

He wants to meet him. Like, he's like, I need to meet his brother. I'm like, I know. You really do. Like, you guys can play. He's so excited every day. He's like, when are we going?

[Donald]

Yeah, you can show him the studio and stuff and his instruments, all that.

[Autumn]

Yeah, he'd be. So he just bought himself so dime. He's, you know, he's had the job for a year. He's stashed away quite a bit of money. And he was like, mom, for when I finish school this year, I want to get myself a little gift because I'll. He'll not only have finished his regular school year, he'll have finished two Berkeley classes, music theory and a guitar class. And he's like, I want to get myself this new guitar. I'm like, okay, great. Like, I bought you three, so I'm good. Like, that's on you.

[Donald]

I did my part.

[Autumn]

You have money?

[Donald]

Yeah.

[Autumn]

And so he was at Guitar center the other day, and he calls me and he's like, mom, they have it and it's on sale. And I was like, it's up to you, buddy. Like, you know, school's over. In two months. So like if it's on sale and that's a better deal and you don't know if it'll be on sale again. And he's like, I don't. He's like, this is the first time I've seen it on sale. And I was like, okay. By the way, I had just gotten out of the shower. Like I'm. My hair's wet. Like I had put clothes on but like my hair's soaking wet. Like I'm not ready. The dogs need to be fed, I need to make dinner. And he's like, so do you want to meet me here while I make my first big purchase? And I was like, you and your mom Guilt. I was like, I really don't.

[Donald]

Not, not at all.

[Autumn]

I was like, I can close my

[Donald]

eyes in a match.

[Autumn]

I was like dumb. And he's like, what's just my first big purchase? And I was like, my hair is wet, I gotta. And he's like, it's okay, mom, it's okay. Like I said, he hits me with a mom gal. And I was like, how about this? FaceTime me when you're at the register. And he's like, okay. And then it turned out to be an issue. He couldn't remember the new pin for his debit card. So I had to give him my credit card anyway. It was like a whole.

Sounds like a whole plan with you.

[Autumn]

I always drew that money from his account. Make no mistake about it. I said, that's my dollars.

[Donald]

That's right.

[Autumn]

But I was really proud of him because it was not a cheap guitar. It was like a fifteen hundred dollar guitar.

[Donald]

Yeah.

[Autumn]

That he bought for himself.

[Donald]

Yeah. It's so good when you can feel like cuz so many kids or young adults whose parents support them, which I totally understand. My parents never had a lot of extra money. But I feel like if. I feel like, you know, people sort of fault parents who give their kids a lot of money or pay for everything, but I also get it because there probably is part of you, like you want, you love them and you want them to have what they want. So you have to discipline yourself too to say no. They need to know the weight of what that money, what that feels like, like what it means to work for it. What it means to have to give something up to get something that you want.

[Autumn]

My microphone was loose and I was like jiggling around and I was like, it's probably going to be making so much noise.

[Donald]

Perfect. No, it was more like rattling. Like, like anyways yeah.

My knee tightened, too. Great.

But, yeah, So I am very proud of him for that, for getting his. Making his first big purchase on his own. But it is hard when. Anytime, like, you want to give him everything, especially if you didn't grow up that same way, you almost want to do everything. Like, yes. Because I can say yes. It was funny because, like, two days later, he's like, you want to get my gas? And I was like, no. I actually. When I transferred the money to my account, I did a hundred dollars less than what you actually owed me. And I told you that. And he's like, you're right. You're right. You got my gas. I was like, yeah. So back up.

Yeah.

But, yeah, September carried on, and we celebrated my birthday. So you were out of town. I went to Rosenthal Winery with a couple of my girlfriends and tj and we had wine, and that was a really fun day. Where were you?

I was on. I was at a make event.

In. Yeah, In Texas that time.

[Autumn]

Yes. And then you took me to the freaking escape room. I love escape rooms for my birthday. A scary escape room when your girl hates to be scared.

I was just trying to think of an activity, you know?

I know. We also went to Katrina's dance class.

We went to that ESPN event. We have. We have done some things in the last year. Like, when you start looking back, it's

like I had another. Like, a family trip, a work trip, and then the next exciting thing, without looking. Why I might be jumping ahead of some things.

Aruba was so. That was such a nice. Well, that was November.

We did our photo shoot for the sweats. For the Everything's Perfect Sweats. So that was fun. And then we also don't for. We went to Nashville. We went for Nash's birthday.

Come on. For the housewarming. Huh? That was super fun. We went and saw Emily and the kids, Dylan. And then we started. Did we start recording? Maybe not then yet. What I was gonna say, did we start recording? Hustle Hard. But I don't think we started recording that till November. But I took another trip back to New York end of October to finalize the beverage line to finalize the flavors. Because my, like, my production company, my formulation company is in Jersey. So I went to New York just for two days. Went to the formulation factory, finalized the flavors. Yep. Still isn't launched. And then it was November, and I went back to Nashville again for my cousin's 50th birthday. That was so much fun.

Nashville. You'll have a good time in Nashville.

Nashville's fun, huh? Super fun. And then, yeah, we hit up. Well. Remember when we went to the Grove, which, by the way, this seems like yesterday.

Yeah, I know.

We were there.

I was thinking that when I was looking at our past episodes, I was like, oh, my God, these episodes don't seem that long ago. But, yes, the Grove, that nightmare.

It was raining. We couldn't get to the Cheesecake Factory.

The Grove is an outdoor mall, you guys, in la. And it's what one of. It's probably like, the most. I don't. It's such a destination. Like, when I didn't live in Los Angeles, people talk about the Grove, talk about the Grove. And I knew someone, like, someone who is, like, would talk about eating at the Cheesecake Factory. At the Grove was just such a special experience.

I don't know why.

[Donald]

I never knew why either. Except for. I guess it's cute if you're sitting on the patio and you can look out over there. But it's just a very pretty outdoor mall.

[Autumn]

Yeah.

[Donald]

And the farmers market is cool there, I was gonna say. And it's connected to a farmer's market. But we went. We went during. We went during it. Feed me, Seymour.

Okay, that's not what was happening.

[Donald]

Sure. We went for the lighting of the Christmas tree, which we didn't see. I thought it was gonna be like. Like a Hallmark movie. Like some people sitting around with hot cocoa, linking arms. A nice distance between you and the people around you. And it was so insane. Yeah. We also. I. I'm not gonna go through it all again because we had a whole episode where I bitched.

I saw an ugly side of Donald that night.

I don't let it come out often, actually.

I was kind of proud.

I was like, I'm so glad it's not me.

Then we went to Aruba. I found out you're a psychopath who sleeps with the blankets tucked in under the bed, under the mattress. Well, you guys help me out here when you go to bed at night, okay? In the room and I pull all the covers out because who sleeps with the sheet tucked in? Because your toes are like suffocating. And this one climbs in bed and I'm like, what are you doing? And he's like, what? I'm like, you gotta untuck your bed. He's like, I like it tucked in. Serial killer.

Yeah, well, I, I just, you know, learned. I will learn that not having your, like, what is it? I hope this isn't culturally offensive, but they used to say like, I don't know if it was in China or Asian cultures, they would like bind ladies feet and stuff. That's what it felt like sleeping in those beds. I'm like, this cannot be comfortable. I'm in, like, I'm pointing like I'm a damn ballerina.

Which is why I. Why would you ever sleep like that? I need a leg out. My toes gotta be cold. I need to be warm and stubborn.

I need my feet out. Like I don't, I don't want my feet hot when I sleep.

Well, you have different issues. I went in, she's staying. We're filming at my house right now. I went in her bedroom where she's staying. And when I tell you that cover, I was like, what happened? Were you practicing tying knots with this thing? Like, what is this comforter doing?

[Autumn]

Because I have to sleep with it and cuddle with it, but I also like to tuck it between my legs so that my knees don't touch. Do you do that?

[Donald]

I do that.

That's uncomfortable.

Especially. You're a side sleeper.

[Autumn]

Ye. Yeah.

[Donald]

I don't. I'm not a side sleeper, but I will, while I'm getting comfortable, lay on my side and I have to do that. My knees can't be touching.

And I'm a side sleeper on both sides. So I'll start on my back, but then I'll roll to one side. I'll be there for a little Bit. But then I got to flip to the other side. So I got to pull the covers the other way and tuck them all the other way. It's the whole situation. By the time I wake up in the morning, this is everywhere.

Yeah, I guess.

Yeah. It looks like I had a party, but I didn't.

[Donald]

All right. But yes, Aruba was so beautiful. The resort was so beautiful. And the beach, all of that. And it was closest I've ever been to Africa and.

We're just a couple of stupid.

Looking at the map like, oh, my God. I was like, we're close to Africa, right? We were kind of like closer than I've ever really.

Like an eight or nine hour flight. But sure.

And I caught. I text now, and I was like, we're doing this. He was like, okay.

Yeah. Didn't even make me skinny. I'm kidding, you guys. I know I'm lean. And then from Ohio, I went back to Florida again because I sold the house and I had to get it ready like I had.

Three days, quick turnaround. That was intense, man. It was like, Aruba, Ohio, Florida. Then the movers showed up five days early with the furniture, so I hadn't emptied anything out.

[Donald]

Yeah.

[Autumn]

Trying to get all that furniture in. It has been a year, man.

[Donald]

It's been a great year.

[Autumn]

Yeah.

[Donald]

I mean, it's just good. It really is. I actually heard someone talk about that their family on New Year's would always heard that her mom kept a journal because they'd be like, what was good about this year? And then her mom would go down all these awesome moments, and they're like, actually, it was a really good year.

[Autumn]

Yeah. I think that so often we can get stuck in the, like, chaos of the moment or the. Just the shitty parts of the year because there's definitely been some turbulence for me in my personal life.

[Donald]

Yeah.

[Autumn]

Like the last two years, but, you know, between friend stuff and then breakup and ups and downs of breakup, like, it's. It's been a. A roller coaster and you can get stuck in that.

[Donald]

Right.

[Autumn]

But then I look back and I'm like, oh, my God.

[Donald]

A lot of cool experiences.

[Autumn]

So many cool experiences. I got to see my family more this last year than I probably have in the last several. Like, that makes me so happy.

[Donald]

Yeah.

You and I have traveled a lot. Like, Dom and I have gotten to do so many, like, fun trips together and just fun moments together. So it's like, oh, it's just a reminder.

[Donald]

It's not an either or. Especially when you're talking about, like, going through things, having difficult. Right. And having, like, a lot of moments where you're crying, but then also. Yes. And a lot of moments where you're laughing and having fun and knowing that it's not. It's impossible to only feel happiness all the time.

[Autumn]

Of course.

[Donald]

But knowing that even when you're really struggling and there's some, you know, you're facing difficult times, you can still find some joy.

[Autumn]

Totally.

[Donald]

And if you're not having it, it's okay to look for it. Not because it's going to fix your problems, but it's just part of life you want to have. Like, at least the full, you know, the balance of it, I guess.

[Autumn]

I don't think there's anybody going through life that doesn't have problems. Even amid the. Like, amidst the good times.

[Donald]

Right.

[Autumn]

Like, things can be really great and you could still be dealing with difficult stuff. Like, even on my best days, I'll wake up and I'll be having a great day and I'm dealing with something with the beverage line, and I'm like. Like, it's a problem within the day, but it doesn't mean the whole day was bad.

Yeah.

[Autumn]

Or, you know, this weekend I'm stressed right now, like, as we're doing stuff, because I'm essentially, like, soft launching my app tomorrow.

I'm not ready. Also, I probably will never, quote, unquote, be ready because I'm a perfectionist. So it's never going to feel good enough. It's never going to feel like there's enough to launch with, even though there's plenty to launch with. Like, there's multiple programs and workouts and nutrition and recipes. And it's like. But I know people want more. And I'm like, I'm only one person.

It's a problem, quote, unquote, problem. Or it's a stressful moment, but we're having the best time. We've had such a good weekend. Even though I had a couple meltdowns.

And one of them had a yellow thread across the toes. What are you doing? Yeah, I can't wear these together.

Are you insane? Don't do that. He'll just have any random socks match. And I'm like, just because they're both white doesn't mean, like, one's gonna be up here, one's gonna be down here. I can't.

Or like when somebody wears them, it one's inside out. Like, they take their shoes off and you're like, one socks inside out. You don't feel that across your toe.

Oh my gosh, my skin crawl. Ye. The only time I'll wear unmatching socks is if, like, you have. You get a pack of socks and let's say one of them have like a gray heel and one of them have a navy blue heel. But they're the exact same thread, exact same brand. Then I will do it.

Yeah, so your feet can feel color.

It's not that. It's that if you take your shoes off somewhere. Now you got a gray heel and a blue heel. You look stupid. You look. You have to be ready. I'm telling you, things are always situated. You can't look crazy. Yeah, you better not wear the ugly bra. That'll be the time somebody's gonna see it. Nope. No granny panties. You better have cute panties on. I'm not saying I dropped my draw. I'm just saying, and your socks better match.

Oh, my God. I would drive me insane. I was always like, what are you doing? Like, when we were on set, I was like, put on matching socks.

Someone did that on the set of 80 day too. I wonder. Maybe it was Katrine, one of our friends.

There are two kinds of people in the world, and there are one. Because there are people I talk to who feel as passionately as we do about matching socks, who are like, the amount of time you waste in life by matching your socks together, I'm like, that's not wasted time about making a bed.

Nine times out of ten, I'll straighten the covers. But like, to fully make the bed sometimes, I'm not saying I don't do it, but to fully make it something. This is a waste of time. The next time I'm gonna see this bed is when I'm crawling back in.

I know, but there's nothing like crawling in a bed that is made and the sheets are tight and tucked. I'm just kidding.

I don't get that far. And I have 47 pillows on my bed.

Spending a good amount of time there. Hey, After New Year's we went and we went back to Vegas.

My first time seeing JLo and it was very good. Yeah, I loved it. It was like a show girl in spot. It felt very like Vegas.

Vegas show. Yeah, it was like old school Vegas. Like Rat Pack type style. So that was really fun. And we were doing some Hyrax training while we were there. Oh, I started with my pilates instructor. Like the woman I train with now, who I absolutely love. Nikki Juarez. Not good at pronouncing her last name. She's awesome. Then I did a photo shoot for

my app and then Hyrox has to be coming up. Well, that was January, right?

[Autumn]

February. But yeah. Hold on. Don't go. So January 17th was your going away party. You didn't move for another week, right? Another week or two weeks. When did you move?

[Donald]

Jan. January was a going Away party. Are you sure?

[Autumn]

No, this was Nell's birthday. I'm sorry.

[Donald]

Oh, yeah, that, that.

[Autumn]

It was Nell's birthday. Yeah. That's what I was looking at. You're going away party was at my house. So we had Nell's birthday. We went out, partied like Rockstar.

Yes.

[Autumn]

You also realize it's why you hate living in Hollywood.

[Donald]

I didn't hate living in Hollywood. I was ready for a little change of scenery, you know what I mean?

[Autumn]

Big change of scenery.

[Donald]

There's a lot like where we lived in Hollywood, you guys was cool. Like it was across the street from an equinox and it was neat moving there to be on, like to see the Walk of Fame and be able to go to the historical places and walking distance very easily. But with all of that also came a very thick layer of filth everywhere. Yeah.

[Autumn]

Like it was homelessness, unfortunately.

[Donald]

So tragic. It is all the time. And I lived before Hollywood for 15 months. We lived in that apartment. Before that, I was in downtown for three years.

[Autumn]

Pick bad places, live in downtown la.

[Donald]

My apartment was just so cool. And it was during the pandemic, so people spent. You spent so much time inside. I was like so excited about the new space case. But yeah, should have just moved in with me. I said we hit in the suburbs.

[Autumn]

Yeah.

[Donald]

We had some fresh air for a minute. These lungs.

[Autumn]

Well, Dom also. So Dom turned 17 in January and then he got baptized and you came to his baptism. That was great. Loved that for us. Then January 31, we went and did our F45 first training for high rocks. Donald kind of wanted to die a little bit.

[Donald]

Yeah. I almost did the sled push. Like, I was like, I'm crushing this, I'm crushing this, I'm crushing this. And then the sled pushes. The thing is, I. That they had. I was just going non stop for the whole like, segment of it.

[Autumn]

Yeah.

[Donald]

And I was like. I stood up and I was like, oh my God. I just expended all of my energy, like I'm about to fall on this floor. And then I recovered and everything was fine. I survived.

[Autumn]

Yes. We also went and saw Becky G in February. Isn't that her name?

Jesse.

I have no idea. That's why it's so funny. But you just said a girl's name with a. With a thing after it. Jesse J. Jessie J.

There was no. There was going to be no adjusting the camera for it.

No. Why don't hotel rooms believe in better lighting? Like, they all have, like, the little light on the wall next to the bed and, like, maybe one, like, lamp on it. Like. Like the desk in there. I'm like, damn overhead lights in here that turn on.

Yeah. Well, you know, I am a stereotypical gay who hates overhead lights.

I do, too. But I.

But you need it. Especially, like, the most important thing I think is really good bathroom lighting.

Which they have. They have very good there.

But maybe we should have just done our podcast in the bathroom.

Pretty small, so. Hi. Rocks almost died because I didn't compete until like, 11 o' clock at night.

And I. We had eaten one meal that day. You got like. None of these people wanted to eat. I was like, y', all, can we eat? Like, this girl's gotta eat.

We got the best chicken fingers at our disposal in this town.

[Autumn]

That was the only thing we ate. I had, like. It was going on two chicken fingers and some salad and fries from nine hours earlier.

Yeah.

And then they were like, run and push the sled.

You're like, okay, someone's trying. Someone doesn't want you to.

Yeah. No, literally, people wanted to see me fail. We met Hunter. That was super fun.

That was. He's such a nice guy.

Hunter takes us. It takes someone with such dedication to train the way he does. Like, it's him. It's really impressive.

Yeah. I saw him say something on a podcast interview, and I was like, okay. Rude but accurate. He was like, like, there's participants and there's athletes. He's like, just because you do a Hyrax race doesn't mean you're an athlete. He's like, let me be very clear. He's like, if you come and you're there, camaraderie and fun, You're a participant. If you're training, training to get better, using, like, tracking, using everything to your advantage to get the edge, to do your best and win, you're an athlete. He's like, not everybody that does high rocks. You're not an athlete just because you showed up and did high rocks.

Well, damn. It's a big pill to swallow.

But gulp. Could be accurate.

No, actually, I feel like that makes total sense. I did it. I feel like I did it as a participant. I did it well, but I wasn't really training. My goal was to finish.

And that's what you do when you participate when you're an athlete. You're doing what you can to finish first.

And Florida for a minute. But Puerto Rico is. What is my happy place now. Like, I just really love that island so much.

Struggled a little bit because of like the state of the world, our country and the unrest. And it just seems like even the political divide, no matter what side you're on, the gap seems bigger than it's ever been. Like people can't even have conversations with each other about why they feel what they feel is just such hostility. And as an empath, that's really affected me. Um, so it's. But I heard someone say, because sometimes when you're feeling down about things, it's easy to just focus on the negative. And I heard someone say once that joy is an act of resistance. And it's so such a good reminder that it's so important with whatever you might be struggling with, whatever thing that might be trying to keep you down. Finding ways to have joy is an act of resistance against that. And so I really like that.

I like that. Okay, should we go back through episodes really quick before we wrap this up? We're not obviously doing a phone a friend today, but some of our favorite highlights. Yeah. Yes. It's so hard to remember all of them. I mean, I loved our first one just because we got to introduce the show to everybody.

Yeah, it was really exciting and it was fun. Fun to go down memory lane because we kind of talked about how we met and stuff like that on that first episode. We actually released two episodes. The very first.

I also loved our third episode that we did. I forgot about it. It was titled Everything's Perfect Except Me. Because we also, like, opened up about our insecurities, and those are things you don't. Everyone has them, and just talking about them on a daily doesn't really seem appropriate. But.

It was cool to be able to share that with people.

Yeah.

Who have followed along, both of us, and then been able to be like, oh, wow. They also struggle with this or that or these feelings.

Right. Yes, I did like that one. What is this one? Oh, that was New York recap for. For a while there, we had a quote unquote ghost on our podcast.

Yeah.

Making many appearances. Making haunted appearances. If you haven't caught those ones, I do think, like. Like those. Like that ghost episode we did. Meaning we ended up talking about, like, yeah, if we had. Which one is it?

[Donald]

It's titled Everything's Perfect. But our set is haunted, if anyone wants to listen to.

[Autumn]

Because all of a sudden, like, we had been filming for a couple weeks, maybe a month or two, and then there were, like, these voices coming through. We still don't really know how it happened. Somebody tried to say. Somebody tried to tag you and stuff.

[Donald]

Someone tagged and said that they did it. And I was like, strange.

[Autumn]

I don't know.

[Donald]

How would he be able to do it? Right. And I ignored.

[Autumn]

Yeah.

[Donald]

I don't believe it's very recent. I think it's because a show came out on Netflix that was about, like, haunted podcast or something. And so he shared that and tagged and. And sent me a message, and I was like, okay, well, we. You could have showed your face at the time because we were trying very hard to figure out who. We asked everyone on our team at

[Autumn]

the time if it was. If it was this guy doing it as a joke, like, you would have been like, okay. Ha, ha ha. Because it eventually stopped when we switched editors. But I don't think that guy was our editor.

[Donald]

Yeah, I don't think so either.

[Autumn]

We knew who the editor was. Yeah, I. I mean, go ahead. What were you gonna say?

[Donald]

I was just scrolling a few. Like, I mean, anyone can go and see the titles. But I liked the. The Friendship episode because a lot of. I think a lot of adults struggle with. For having friends is so different at different phases of your life.

[Autumn]

Yeah.

[Donald]

And so I liked diving into that.

[Autumn]

Yeah. That Was a fun one to get into. I mean, like, we've had so many where, like, even when I go back and review them before they go live, I'm just like, oh, my gosh, that was hilarious. Like, we were having the best time just, like, laughing about all these different things. Obviously our number one viewed episode was Everything's Perfect except what happened with Body. Honestly, probably one of my least favorite episodes to do. Not because it just. I just felt like we had to, like, rehash a bunch of things. It wasn't bad. It wasn't like, oh, I. I hate this episode.

But it was just like an emotional one. It was definitely for you.

[Autumn]

Yeah, it was definitely an emotional one. And it just felt like I needed to do it because we. It felt like people weren't going to stop asking until I, like, said, quote, unquote, my side or whatever.

Yeah.

But, like, out of all the things we've done and, like, all the things we've gotten to talk about, like, there's. I just love when we're, like, laughing and having the best time. Like our irrational fears, one that we just did recently. Freaking hilarious. Like, I loved that one.

Or when we talked about, like, our hopes and our dreams. Yeah. Oversharing is definitely our love language.

I loved. I'm looking for the title, but I got to do a. My coming out story. It was just very special for me to be able to share it and have a space like this to do it.

That was a great one. A beautiful one. I love that one. Yeah, everything's. Some of these. I don't even remember me either. We did a lot of Ask Us Anyways.

Oh, that was a good one. I mean, we've had our sex episode was hilarious. Our very first one. Let's talk about sex, baby.

Which is so funny because I'm always like, well, I have a friend who read a book and told me about it once, so I'm going to quote it. It's just like, we're notorious about love languages, but sure did dive into that subject without reading.

It's good to take a look. Remind yourself. I don't. I've never actually just scrolled through a year of pictures on my phone. Or you can. If you delete those, you can go on your Instagram and look at your archives for a year. And it's really interesting to see. Remember where you were and remember those experiences and moments, because you just keep living life and you don't think about it. But there's actually so much. Much that I experienced in the last year to be grateful for.

I feel like it would be really fun just. Just, like, an idea I'm putting out there for myself. Like, maybe each week, throughout the week, just take photos of, like, fun moments that are going, like, when they're happening. And then maybe at the end of the week, you clean up some of the photos from that week, but you save one or two from that week that were, like, a fun moment.

Yeah.

And then like you said, maybe it doesn't even have to be a whole year, but maybe in, like, three months, if you're like, oh, God, this has been so hard. You can look back and be like, oh, God, wait, I actually had fun with my girlfriend. Like, could just be something simple. You went out to din. You went and got coffee with a friend. You went and tried a new class. Like, you start to remind yourself of all the experiences you've had.

Instead of just all the monotony you've lived.

Right. And the. Absolutely. It shifts your focus. And that's really. So much can happen when we do that.
