In this week's sermon we address the "A" in DRAW Near as we learn how to "Ask" in prayer. We do this by looking at 1 Timothy 2:1-4 as it shows us how to make requests for ourselves as well as others. We often tend to go to one extreme or the other when it comes to requests in prayer: we only ask, or we feel that asking is selfish and don't do it. However, asking is a part of Jesus' demonstration for how we are to pray, we just need to know how to go about it properly. We're glad that you made it to this sermon! In this week's sermon we look at Matthew 5:8 and what Jesus means by having a pure heart and what it means to see God. God gives us a pure heart when we accept and follow Him, but this can wax and wane. We want to do all that we can to maintain our purity of heart and see God.
