In this week's sermon we conclude out sermon series Moving Forward II. As we have looked at building a home for the family and a lighthouse for the lost, we now look at building a legacy for the next generation. Throughout Scripture we see examples of people who leave a legacy behind to point at what God has done, which is the goal in the next stage of our church's history. In this week's sermon we address the "A" in DRAW Near as we learn how to "Ask" in prayer. We do this by looking at 1 Timothy 2:1-4 as it shows us how to make requests for ourselves as well as others. We often tend to go to one extreme or the other when it comes to requests in prayer: we only ask, or we feel that asking is selfish and don't do it. However, asking is a part of Jesus' demonstration for how we are to pray, we just need to know how to go about it properly. We're glad that you made it to this sermon!
