Balarama Holness was born in Montreal to a Jamaican father a Quebecois Mother. He moved to an Ashram in West Virginia with his mother when he was 1 year old and lived there with Hindu spirituality. Returned to Montreal when he was 10 years old. Through some struggles integrating into Quebec French society he overcame some obstacles and became a CFL champion as the defensive back in the Montreal Alouettes team. He obtained 5 degrees including a law degree in McGill University. He became a Montreal mayor candidate in 2021 election. He published his memoir book titled "Eyes on the horizon: My journey towards Justice" recently. You can buy the book on Amazon. Wassim was born in Lebanon and moved to Montreal before he was 2 years old. After graduating from McGill University he went to South Korea teaching English. He started standup open MIC there. After 4 years he came back to Montreal and became a full time standup comedian. He has been doing standup for 10 years and fully committed. His restaurant "La Belle Tonki" has an amazing vibes and a lot of loyal customers. Sean Chen left China with his parent when he was 5 years old. Moved from Jerusalem, Boston, Edmonden, Vancouver and finally to North Carolina. Came to Montreal when he was 18 to join McGill University. Staying in Montreal for more than 10 years. Lately he has been a sales person. He shared his childhood storied with strict parents especially Tiger Mom. Caught between Chinese traditions and west cultures, generation gaps plus culture differences, first generation parents may have some issues with their kids growing up in the western countries.
