Sean Chen left China with his parent when he was 5 years old. Moved from Jerusalem, Boston, Edmonden, Vancouver and finally to North Carolina. Came to Montreal when he was 18 to join McGill University. Staying in Montreal for more than 10 years. Lately he has been a sales person. He shared his childhood storied with strict parents especially Tiger Mom. Caught between Chinese traditions and west cultures, generation gaps plus culture differences, first generation parents may have some issues with their kids growing up in the western countries. We are both Jeremy Lin fans and talked about NBA a lot. This is the first half of the conversation.

Monica Hamburg was born in Montreal to her Hungarian parents. She went to New York learning acting following her dream when she was 20 years old. With 99% of actors not reaching the top status she changed her career to comedy. She had her first open MICs in Vancouver and New York. While performing her standup comedy she has a full time market job. She often appears on Comedy Nest in Montreal. She created a podcast called "Pornomedy" you can find these episodes on Spotify. Martin was born in Montreal. French is his first language and he learned English and martial arts as he grew up. He stayed in Shanghai for two years teaching English from 2010 and 2012. After coming back from China he met his then-girlfriend wife who immigrated from Philippine that year. He is very passionate about martial art and has practiced different forms of martial arts and now he is into Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. This is the second half of the conversation.

Kerry was born here in Montreal. He started playing soccer when he was 4 years old and joined Impact soccer club's Academy U16 team when he was 14. After that he did not continue his soccer career instead he studied hard to catch up with the school. He studied two years in a CEGEP and entered University de Montreal to study pharmaceutical for 4 years. After working as a pharmacist for one year and a half, he recently bought a pharmacie (Proxim Franchise) in La Prairie, Quebec. He is only 24 years old now, working hard, very inspiring for second generation Chinese immigrants. I have known him since he was 12 years old when I played soccer with his father. His father is an early member of our local Chinese soccer team playing in Brossard. His father always brought Kerry and his old brother Kevin to play with us. On the soccer field, I was mostly assigned to defend this young kid, me 31 years old defending him, 12 years old. This is the second half of the conversation.

XinKun Dai, with the same family name as our restaurant name. She moved to Montreal from China with her parents when she was 17 years old. Went to Concordia University studying theatre design. She has been living in Montreal for 7 years. She is a creative director making short videos and also a model. Very young, full of energy, ambitious, not afraid of challenges. Her short term goal is to become a successful social media personality. Long term goal is too far for her to plan since she could be bored after some time. William Rossy was born in Montreal. Graduated from McGill university with financial major. Giving up a stable promising 6-figure salary in his field, he chose to be a YouTuber to inspire other people to chase their own dreams. He founded his social media brand called "Sprouht". We chatted for 2.5 hours but the phone I used to record the video ran out of battery after sometimes and we may have lost more than 30 minutes of conversation. Charles immigrated to Canada from China about 10 years ago. He had his first IT job in Montreal and after some time he was not satisfied with a stable job anymore. He founded his own IT company to develop a food delivery APP called PinPin. Even with the success of the APP but the market was not mature or the business management was not good enough, this business did not bring success to him. But he got some really great experience developing his own software. After that he founded an IT training company and made some money. But he realized the training would be limited to Montreal market. Then he was exposed to blockchain technology and he had deep belief in this new technology. He jumped right into it and closed the training company. After several years of ups and downs in this new filed.
