Today, those markers include everything from computers and cars to clothes and cell phones. Inflation has been a constant in just about every business and economic story since the pandemic. After all, prices have gone up on most things. There were fears wages wouldn't keep up with inflation. Largely, they have. The U.S. economy has also defied fears of a recession for several years now and rising inflation has been a big part of that whole discussion.
