Fi: Kevään aurinko nousi kirkkaana Lapin jylhän tunturimaiseman ylle.
En: The spring sun rose brightly over the rugged mountain landscape of Lappi.

Fi: Lumipeite oli alkanut hiljalleen sulaa, ja sieltä täältä pilkisti esiin vihreää ruohoa.
En: The snow cover had slowly begun to melt, and here and there patches of green grass peeked through.
