Cy: Ymhell bell mewn tir moel a dyrys, cododd llwydni trwchus o'r llawr a lapio'r bryniau yn ei gwisg llaith.
En: Far away in a barren and dense land, a thick mist rose from the ground and wrapped the hills in its damp cloak.

Cy: Roedd y tirwedd yn edrych fel breuddwyd, yn wir, gyda'r blodau gwyllt yn rhannu gwelyu â'r mwsogl, a'r cerrig yr hen hen pryd bynnag yn codi fel gwirion dirgelion o'r niwl.
En: The landscape looked like a dream, indeed, with wildflowers sharing beds with moss, and ancient stones rising like mysterious truths from the fog.
