Cy: Ym mrigian perffaith y gwanwyn hwyr, roedd heddlu Caerdydd yn brysur.
En: In the perfect late spring, heddlu Caerdydd (Cardiff police) were busy.

Cy: Roedd yr orsaf heddlu'n llawn pobl, lleisiau a phapurau yn symud yn sydyn.
En: The police station was full of people, voices, and papers moving quickly.

Cy: Dros y ddesg, gyda llyfrau nodiadau a thelefonnau'n cyflymu, safodd Gareth.
En: Over the desk, with notebooks and phones speeding up, Gareth stood.

En: “Gareth, look in the cars!” she whispered excitedly.

Cy: "Ydach chi'n siŵr?" gofynnodd Gareth yn chwilfrydig.
En: "Are you sure?" Gareth asked curiously.

Cy: Cyn iddo gael siawns i ailadrodd y cwestiwn, roedd Carys wedi hwylio'r neges.
En: Before he had a chance to repeat the question, Carys had ended the call.

En: Her words were light as the morning wind.
